Stayed in the East C loop with full hook ups and did not visit other areas. This loop is very new and beautiful with 41 very large full hook up sites including about 11 pull through sites. The park is beautifully maintained with lots of grass and trees. There is no Wifi but phone data works well. The bathhouse is new and fully functional and has $1 push button showers that lack temperature control. I did not use them. As is common with government built bathhouses this one is devoid of aesthetic appeal. It is a short drive into town for groceries, etc. There were lots of empty sites during our mid-week stay. I am told it fills up on the weekends.

We camped here the week after it reopened at the beginning of August, 2021. It has been completely paved- new roads and new RV pads. The pads are level and nice. We stayed at a site with full hookups; however, the water hadn't been turned on yet. There is water fill up and dump station on site. Very clean park. There is a decent amount of space between each RV sites. The camp host was friendly. I guess the only important thing to mention is they close / Lock the gates to the park between 11pm and 5am. Overall, great place to stay close to town but far enough from all the noise and lights.

We haven’t camped here as they don’t allow tent camping much but the lake is beautiful and have a great time everytime we come.

Some one said the fishing sucks......maybe the fish just don't like you. Nice lake....unfortunately people don't pick up after themselves. Not the lakes fault. Thumbs up to the family tonight 9-13-16 picking up trash at the #3 entrance. Very cool !!

Beautiful, clean campground. Campsites have generous spacing between them. Well maintained showerhouse and portapotties. Will definitely camp here again....UPDATE 7/7/18: Changed from 5 stars to 3...We booked 6 days over the holiday BECAUSE fireworks are not allowed and our dogs are terrified of them. We ended up leaving 2 days early due to fireworks, huge groups of visitors at various sites, loud music and partying until around 3 am (at least 4 other campsites packed up and left by 9 am on Saturday as well for the same reasons). There is no campground host on-site to handle such issues and the police visited every day we were there but as soon as they left activities resumed and at times escalated. The showerhouse was icky and needs repairs. This is still a beautiful campground and we will probably give it another try and hope our camp neighbors are more respectful in the future and maybe by then there will be an on-site host who can ensure campground rules are abided by.

Lake Cunningham is beautiful! Amy, Ed & Clint are wonderful staff members and camp hosts. We have stayed at full hookup sites and an electric only site, which were both great! The grounds, bathrooms/shower houses were always clean. As a new RV family, most of our neighbors have been nice and it’s refreshing. We will definitely come back next year!

Nice little campground just north of the city. There are free showers (albeit not the cleanest - they do the job), a play area, many water hydrants, a trail that goes around the lake, and you can camp right off the water or tucked back further into the trees.

Very nice campground! We were here for baseball tournament and really enjoyed the Omaha area. The campground was immaculate with beautiful water views. Very helpful camp host too. Would definitely stay again if in the area and highly recommend it!

We went paddle boarding here. Water was calm and pretty clear. Someone said there are others here. Didn't see any but they said they come out during the sunny times of the day.

We're in the new area. It's all nice and new. It will be a full hook up, but for now it has electric and sewer. We chose to camp here because it was close to work. That part is nice. We like the park and lake. We are at campsite # 50. I am disappointed in the view. We are overlooking a ravine of green slime. On the map it appeared to be next to the lake. Only 1-2 sites on the new side had a view of the lake at all. Some have a nicer view of trees than ours,but I can see trees from my back yard.., The view is most of what I camp for. For that reason, I will opt to drive 40 minutes to work rather than camp here next time. It's $35 a night, going up to $40 when it becomes full hook up. The convenience is nice, the grounds are nice, but not worth it in my opinion.

The concrete roadway & pads were in excellent shape, and our campsite was clean. The site was a bit small, barely accommodating our 31' trailer & 2 vehicles. There is no additional parking space anywhere within the campground. The playground is in good repair and has activities to keep children entertained for hours. Adults may want to take a chair, however, as there are no benches or seating areas, from which to supervise the kiddos.

The lake is now open for business! Ignore the fact that Google says that it's closed! This is one of the best lakes in omaha, and one of the few you can find a good walleye in! I'm exited to see what the lake holds now that it is open to the public again and is stocked full of new large mouth bass! Great place for fun!

Reservations are 100% online. Campground is nice and sites are a nice distance apart. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Need quarters to operate showers.

So peaceful. The water is gorgeous, and has such a soothing effect. The campsites are set up in a good way, so there's a really nice sense of community, but they're not so squished together that you feel like you're sitting on each other's laps. And the pricing is pretty awesome. Only $12 per night for a campsite, and only $17 for a site with electrical connections. Love watching the pairs of Canadian geese with their adorable fuzzy baby goslings :-) Definitely need more lake time :-)

This is a beautiful campground that is very well maintained. My dad who resides in AZ has been coming out here for years and the new upgrades including paved lots, miles of walking trails, etc are absolutely spectacular.

Very nice park and campground; extremely well maintained. The only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is the online only reservation system shuts down @ 1pm and there is only one shower for a pretty good sized campground.

At the moment, It's electric only, the water system is being repaired. Dump station has water. Everything is well maintained. Sites large, spaced apart nicely, and paved. Friendly.

My Yellow Lab, Big Chuck, and I walk the numerous trails daily. Peaceful, scenic, great exercise (for both of us), and Big Chuck absolutely loves it. Great family picnic areas with convenient parking. I only wish those who fish at night would pick up their trash before departing.

It is a pretty good place to go fishing. I suggest not a windy day because you'll get the worst of it. Also not that much shady spots but other than that if you want to have a family event or something like that you should come here

Loved it! Until i heard about the zebra muscle outbreak. Then i freaked out cuz i was standing in that water! They are going to drain it and treat it for net season ... but when they drain it where do all the muscles go then? They stick to boat bottoms .. but theyve got to contaminate elsewhere then though. But i kayaked the lake in mid morning and it was so serene and calm . When it gets clean i highly recommend this lovely lake.

Excellent facility and the upgrades are very nice. A great place for the family and many activities are available, they have a great six mile trail everyone should try, great scenic views throughout the lake

I really would like to give the park a 3.5 rating but there is no option for that. Nice big and peaceful place with long paved walking paths. A very nice sized lake and some picnicking area. The negative is they don't cut the grass very often along the pathways or in the main park area, so it gets kinda tall. Makes it hard to throw out a blanket and relax. Not enough picnicking gazebos, someone is always using the few that is there. Overall still a decent park outside the busy city area.

The first night was really nice. Real nice park. However, the second night someone moved in next to us. Barking dog never stopped They had 8 other cars show up for party. Never picked up after the dog. Broke every park rule. Bad thing is no camp host to enforce anything. Where is the enforcement!!

Peaceful, nice small lake. No on site registration so plan ahead! Bathrooms and showers are disgusting. Portapotties look like they haven’t been pumped or cleaned in months! Still close in Omaha location and low prices are attractive. Cheaper tent sites are nice and higher ground too. Expect mud after rains!

It is about the only place to camp in the city, everything else is farther from town. No on site registration, you have to reserve online at least 24 hours in advance. Price is super cheap. We did not have any noise issues, seems like a nice quiet place. Sites are spread out with plenty of room and shade trees.

We rented paddle boards and it was a good time! Other people were kayaking and canoeing. Boats and people. Fun place for a few hours in the sun. If renting paddle boards, etc. Be sure to check online first or give them a call.

Quiet, loads of parties on the weekend nights. Dogs welcome on leashes, not all dogs socialized with other dogs, leashes mandatory. Showers,toilets, Porta-potty, 2 dumpsters, large campsite. Fire pit, picnic table at each site. Electric sites well priced. Reservations online only.

Don't just go there expecting to register and camp. There are new rules requiring pre-registration and use of a credit card over the Internet. There are no reservation capabilities at the Park. A sort of Catch-22. If you are contacted by anyone there, ask for identification! But WOW! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LAKE AND CAMPGROUND!!! Go there...check it out, It's worth the little extra effort to make a qualified decision that will give you a beautiful and incredible memory and place to return to.

Great crappie fishing. Nice place to canoe (no wake lake) and simple, fairly clean walking trails around the park. I usually park by the marina side of the lake and there's a small sand beach for wading and canoe rentals. The campground is well situated, but there's no campground host that I know of so you may be camping by Hufflepuffs or rednecks on any given night, so camp at your own risk. (ie. no penalties for barking dogs, etc etc).

Great lake near to populated areas of Omaha. Features a marina, camping area, paddle board/kayak rental, 9 hole disc golf course, and always a relaxing atmosphere. There are several entrances so be sure to check which you will need.

Beautiful lake, lots of fish, very well maintained, wide variety of plants and birds. Nice walkways, trails and paved roads. The lake water is actually quite clear as well. I highly recommend it!

If you haven't been here in awhile you should go and plan on walking along the North end of the property, fishing, playing frisbee golf, or renting a boat. This is one of the best kept lakes in Omaha and it is s beautiful in the spring and fall.

great place for camping and fishing! great updates love what army corps and the local donators did!! everyone is really nice here and glad they enforce rules to keep it clean and keep away zebra muscles. Please tell tactical 88 to lighten up a tad bit they enforce and do a wonderful job, just be nice about it, i love and respect the lake, i have lived in nearby cunningham hills since 1997. I hope the area stays nice and i'm super happy it is open again Thanks!!

All the trails are cement, and flooded / mudded over in quite a few areas. There are a lot of people in the after business hours. The Western shore-line (if you can call it a shore-line), is better for running.

Member of Lake Cunningham Marina for two years now. Love the sailing here. Outfitters during the summer months rent boards and paddles. No wake lake. No swimming. Good for camping and trail hiking.

I love Cunningham Lake. It's a great place to go if you want to have some fun recreational outside activities. Or if you just want to hang out with your homies or have a cookout or even go swimming. I don't know if you're supposed to swim in the lake but I do anyways.

Some tent sites are in full sun..Others are well shaded.. fire pit needs cleaning, which I don't use because I have a biolite.. Water pumps all around here in camp. I've tried to use others including at other park locations to no avail. Anyone's best chance for tent site ㊗㊙ come between the times of 7am to 9:30am because car scouts invade. ...... 🚹🗿↔🔄🔢🔑🔨🔫📆✂💸📤4🚺

We arrived late in the evening and someone decided to set up a camper at our site. She was not happy to move but did. In the morning I was able to see how beautiful the campground was. As the family started getting up, the park crew decided to mow the lawn next to us and around. It was hard to hear, couldn't open windows on the tent to change, and as we were strapping the last few things down one guy sprayed Round Up less then two ft from where we were standing.
