A great place to camp with an RV. Back in and pull through spots. Electric hookup at each spot (20,30&50amp at our spot) but no water or sewer at the spots. There is a dump station near the entrance and water spigots are scattered around the park ( bring a REALLY long water hose if you plan on being hooked up to water) we just pulled up and refilled our tank when needed.
Some spots are connected to the lake ( your own private beach at #426) all spots have a cement picnic table, grill and smaller cement "prep table".
Call ahead to reserve a spot or scout your ideal one upon arrival and reserve it at the welcome board. Camp host on site. We did have a vagrant try to camp in the woods near our spot but the camp host delt with the situation in a timely and professional manner. There also seems to be a disconnect regarding who is responsible for picking up the trash that can be seen around the park ( a shame, this place would be outstanding with a little more care) Still worth a visit! The price is $30/day.

Very clean and safe area. Decent Bathrooms. Electrical outlets are at every site. It was super cold when I went and the outlet saved the trip with a plug-in heater. There’s plenty of wildlife and the camp host is really nice.

Very nice little spot. They let you drive the park and pick your site. Beautiful sunrises in the am. We saw two large groups of deer, each one had 7 or 8 deer. They wandered all afternoon and morning through the grounds, they seem to be fairly comfortable around people - they got very close to us, but kept their distance. Amazing to watch them so up close. Very quiet at night.
The bathrooms could be a little better kept, but they also have signs all over saying it may not be kept open after Oct 31st. So they may have limited staff after the summer. All in all a very nice little retreat for the night. Close to lots of nice little independent restaurants.

Great place for family gathering and friends. Edmond park services always available to help and very safe as Edmond Police department always patrol the area.

Stopped here for a quick night stay while travelling on I-35. After hours check in process is a little confusing. There is a wall with all the sites that are available or occupied. You have to decide what site you want before seeing the sites. We ended up taking a picture of the board and then driving through the campground to find a site that would work. Then you have to go back and make your reservation. It's a strange way to handle reservations. We did not hook up to water, but as other reviewers have said, some of the sites share water connections. This will require a long hose. As suggested, bring 200'+ of water hose if you need water. There are some very beautiful sites on with lake views. Our one night stay was quiet. Overall not a bad spot to stop while travelling on I-35, just be prepared for the confusing check in if arriving after hours.

Lots of deer! Camp sites are nice, if a little overpriced.great swimming and kayaking near our site. Dog friendly. we went on a Wednesday in late August and it was perfect. Not crowded and the weather was perfect.

Nice spot to fish and camp at.

The lake is beautiful. But the price is way too high compared to others lakes in Oklahoma that are similar in size and beauty. The water hookups are too far from camp sights and only 2-3 out of 10 even have a water hook up so you either need a spliter, which we have AND an extra hose to be able to reach, which we didn't. So we had to leave our campsite to go to Walmart and buy 1. It took at least 2 hrs away from our campVation.

Love this place, so peaceful, we see deer families every time we have come.

Nice campground but could be so much better. For one thing, it's impossible to tell which sites are available. You put a "reserved" slip in the slot and they're not taken out in a timely manner. Also getting a water hook up is ridiculous. Way too few and too far away. Too bad because spots are nice, saw lots of deer. Probably won't stay here again tho.

The staff and camp hosts are friendly and helpful. This is a great little escape, we always feel at home here. The campsites at Scissortail are more secluded. The water spigots are few so bring the extra hoses, but we can get by. The only drawback is disrespectful campers who don't clean up after themselves, but the park does a great job keeping things in order.

Everything was pretty good it was quiet, restrooms are clean. But some of the sites don't have water hookups right on their site so they have to hook up across the street and that requires of long hose. All the hoses seem to be hooked up to some other site and now I need to buy something that'll split it off.

The sites are fairly secluded, deer ambling through often. Choice of wooded or Lakeview sites. Large picnic tables and fire rings. Clean up of litter in the woods, along lake edge and vacated sites should be improved. Ventilation in restrooms is needed. Also, for campers like ourselves traveling from out of state to visit children and grandchildren it would be nice if they could visit for a few hours or for a picnic without having to pay a fee. We will stay here again.

Very nice! Edmond welcomed me to my cabin with my lovely cabin. (cabin E) and the interior was delightful. Edmond also hosted a fire with some roasted lightly salted cockroaches! Aboustley fine dining. And I have no one to thank but Edmond for this...!

Lots of space between sites with many trees making most very private. Each site has picnic table, grill and fire ring. 30 & 50 amps are provided, but fresh water is shared and there is a single dump station.
There's a lot of wild life, we saw deers every day of our stay, geese, ducks and such.

Loved our site...right in front of the water. Loved the woods and privacy, showers and bathrooms were in need of a little help!!! Stayed at scissortail, but also went to storybook for Halloween, it was great for the two year old....be prepared to pay for the smores and hotdogs!!! We thought they should have been included!!! Nice walks through the park... decorations we're great, hay ride was awesome, we say plenty of deer every day. I would definitely say again. 😍

Could be a great campground (especially at the price) if it had upgraded bathhouses. They also need to ensure folks don't hook up to the communal water spigots, or at least use a splitter if they do. Still, at the price, it's a great value.

Cheap place to camp. Pretty dark at night if you're afraid of that. I didn't have any problems. Showers were not the best

Even though it was the holiday it was still very laid back and relaxing

If you like deers this is the place for you, they will walk right up to your car and eat out of your.
Lonny Hurwitz
Nice campground, friendly staff. Watch out for lower hanging branches on the way in. The 'shared' water is spread out, you might want to bring extra hose and a water splitter just in case.
Dana Quinn
It is a nice park and campsites are secluded, but people camping do not understand the concept of shared water, so many of the campground ‘shared’ water stations had multiple hoses hooked to them leaving others without a water source at all!
Angela Whaley
Very quiet, secluded. No swimming beach but that's what gives it privacy. Good for studying or quality time with a loved one.

Absolutely great absolutely clean great showers good bathrooms good people great place to visit

Pretty decent park. One thing contrary is that some of the sites, the electric is on the wrong side so you have to park with the door away from the table and stuff.
Tim McGinn
I saw 10 dear and a big blue heron, even some good squirrels! Beautiful campground enjoyed by me and my dog, Buddy!

It was alright, calm and peaceful area. Little pricey for just water and electric.
