A very fun, well-kept and friendly campground. The kids love the sandy beach at the lake, store, nightly tram rides around the grounds, and of course the ice cream and arcade! We all had a very fun month! And only 5 minutes to Sea Isle and 20 to Ocean City, it’s in a great location.

Very nice camp site. Everything was very well maintained. The cabin was clean when we arrived. The pool water was clean, clear and appeared balanced which seems rare for public pools. The lake also seemed very clean, with a nice sand beach and in the lake the bottom was sandy, not slimy. There was a well stocked store on site and cafe with fast food, snacks, and ice cream. Even the public restrooms were immaculate. There were not a lot of midweek activities, but we saw a pretty good magic show Sunday night. There is a pretty nice mini golf course on site, $6 a person. Less than 10 minutes to Sea Isle City and Cape May Zoo was a short drive.

Nice place! Convenient location. Came with 2 other couples. One couple in a cabin, the other couple and us stayed on trailer sites. It was clean and quiet. Seasonal guests with dogs off leash and coin op showers were the only real drawbacks. If the water pressure was a bit better in our trailer we would just have used our shower! LOL

Beautiful campground! I stayed with a family friend in her trailer for four days. There's a lake with a beach around it. My favorite thing about the place was the view of the sky over the lake at night, I got some great pictures. There's also a huge pool that has a splash park right next to it for the kids. There's a mini golf course, tennis courts, a basketball court, playgrounds, arcades, and many other amenities around the campground. I had a great time relaxing for a few days!

Awesome camping! Sites are level and sandy. Fantastic pool and lots of kids activities. The camp store is huge and has everything. We will be back many times!

We have been to 4 Beach campgrounds since June 2021 and OVR was hands down the best. From the huge store, to the Olympic pool, splash play area, to the lake and beach area, arcade and pool tables, to the basketball/tennis courts. This place had it all and was very very clean, sites were well maintained and public bathhouse was spotless. They had live music and magic shows we will definitely be back there.

Always a fun experience staying at the campground. The new store is fantastic with everything you need for a campsite or trailer repairs. What they do for the kids/families is great. Never really spend time at the lake on site but seeing it during a walk, it looks like a lot of fun, especially if the beaches are closed or busy

We're only on day 2 of our 4 day trip, and we already know we're coming back! This place is so kid-friendly, quiet, and clean. Like ridiculously clean. The bathrooms come with AC! Made some rookie mistakes but the onsite store comes ready with essentials. We also accidentally kept the car on too long so it died. No worries, though. We called the front desk and in less than 10 minutes the Maintenance crew jumped our car so we can head to the beach. An awesome place for the family!!

Been coming here since I was a toddler and although my family has tried other campgrounds we've always came back here. The facilities are all new and up to date with gated security and constant crews on cleanup. The public bathrooms are nice and clean with showers that cost .25 cents per 5 min. The crossthrough trails no longer seem to be lit so bring a Flashlight 👍

The old adage, you get what you pay for.Well, here, you get everything. They do so much for their campers. They have treated us with impeccable service, and it never ends. The place is clean, everything works, and the people are amazing. Thank you Scott, Doug, Clare, and the rest of the OVR staff on making this the best campground.

Big or little RV they have a spot! This place is awesome and my family and I love coming here every year! So much to do and so close to the beach! They have a pool, lake, fishing ponds, mini golf, basketball court, ice cream shop and the new store is awesome! Highly recommend! If I could give more stars I would!

We stayed at the campground for 2 days this past weekend. Overall, we had a great time. We had a lakeview campsite, with a full hookup. The sites are very clean with a fire ring-HOWEVER the lakefront sites have a one way, paved street running between the campsite and the lake which took away from the experience. There are cars driving past constantly (and this is out of season, so I can only imagine how busy that stretch of the road must be during the season). Also, the campsites are directly across from the beach, so people walk through some of the campsites to get the lake, which again, takes away from the experience. Even though the sites are pretty woodsy, there is ZERO privacy. I have not used the showers but both, the showers and the restrooms seem to be in great shape. The check in was relatively smooth. The majority of the "year round" peeps seem to be seniors. Some of the people we encountered did not seem to make an effort to be welcoming, which makes me think the ad hoc campers like us are probably not super welcome :-) We met a very nice lady at the Arcade (which by the way is awesome!!) but some of the women in the camp store were super miserable, which again took away from the experience. Again, we went out of season, BUT even though we are regular campers, the community feel just wasn't there. I can't put my finger on it. I am sure we will be back because it is convenient to other places we regularly go to in the summer (Sea Isle), but the in-season prices are a little hairy considering all of the above. I am still giving it 4 stars for overall appeal, minus my personal feelings :-)

Went on vacation here with my family for a week it is nice and quiet .everything basic you need they have there . We rented a trailer it was pretty clean inside. The kids loved the pool and the splash pad . We had a awesome time and would definatly come back . Very close to alot of other activities if you plan on going out of the resort.

We had a very nice time in our week there. Nice pool and very nice lake. The weekend got very crowded and was not as nice, but still a great experience. Kids love the freedom a campground offers. Lots of activities planned for the kids, movie nights, dance party, etc. I would recommened it.

Very nice campground with a nice quiet atmosphere depending on where you are. Some parts are where all the action is, but our family stayed in the quiet area. It has a bunch of things to do and most of them are included with no extra fees. There is a pool, lake, mini golf course, two arcades, and a tram for free that runs all over the campground day and night. This place is good for people who have trailers and like to camp seasonally, but is also good for people like us who like to stay for one week in a cabin. You will not find any bugs in your cabin or bathrooms like you would expect in other campgrounds. This is definitely the best campground I have ever been to with my family and I cannot wait to go next year! (Hopefully)

Beautiful. They have an ice cream cafe open, beautiful lake & pool. So many things to do. If you forget something, the store is huge and the campground is so close to everything. The sites are pretty close but the trees still make it feel cozy. You don’t feel on top of each other.oh and there was some nice island music playing down by the lake last night. I will definitely come back!

I recommend this campground, definitely 5 stars if you have kids, are older, or even just looking for somewhere close to the beach. I will never stay in any other campground again. This place is beyond the best. Very clean, staff is so kind. The store is very convenient and all the campers are so nice to each other.

We're beach bums at heart so we spent all our time at Sea Isle Beach about 10 minutes away. The campground was clean, quiet and very conveniently located to the shore attractions. I'm sure we will go back soon this summer. The space we occupied was perfect for our motorhome.

We rented a cabin. Its a beautiful camp ground everyone was very kind the washrooms were the cleanest iv ever seen in any camp grounds iv ever been to. We will be going back lots of things to do for the children. Was our first and not last time ❤️

This place is so much fun! There's an arcade there to play games on, a pool for swimming, and if you want a more beach - like experience, there's a lake too! They've got a fishing pond, ice cream parlor, gazebos EVERYWHERE, and a cozy campground. There's a clubhouse where they have activities and movies, too. It may not be roughing it, but it is certainly comfortable and fun for the whole family!

Large campground with a lot to do and amazing amenities. I gave them a 4 star rating due to safety. They do not allow golf carts and to get around most people drive. The speed limit is 10 miles per hour and people fly through here. With the amount of traffic we had a tough time walking around with our little one and didn’t feel safe riding our bikes. They should definitely allow golf carts to reduce the traffic of people going to and from the campsites in their cars to get to places at higher speeds than should be allowed.

OVR is very clean right down to the rv sites. We stayed off season and had a great view of the lake. I want to thank everyone who came together to help us corral our 4 year old bloodhound who busted out the rv door this past Saturday. One Facebook post and the entire park was out, by foot, car, bike. Apparently she wasn't the only dog on the lamb. After about an hour or so of playing cat and mouse with everyone she gave up! The entire RV park is fenced in which gave us some relief. If you are looking for a place to go at the shore I highly recommend.

Great campground. Had great time. Roads could be a little wider, but definitely a great campground. Kids had wonderful time. Plenty of activities. Extremely clean. Im a picky camper, and I had no complaints. Following up 1 month later. On July 16th I tried to make a reservation for a weekend in August. I was told that they have no available weekends until after sept 5th, unless you make a 7 day reservation. This sounds ridiculous to me. After sept 5th, all amenities are closed. So the search continues for an accommodating family campground in New jersey.

Clean fun resort. Has some really cool amenities. Train, pool, splash park, pond, fishing, mini golf, tennis, basketball, pickle ball, and camping. Bathrooms are new and clean. Resort opens in April and closes in August

Nice enough facility... but more of a camper campground then a tent camping campground. LOTS of mosquitos. Super clean bathrooms and nice showers for only a quarter. Super dog friendly, nice folks, nice to be so close to the dog beach!

Best Camp Site in New Jersey. Look no further, this place has it all... The swimming lake, fishing lake, tram tour nightly, huge general store, ice cream shop which also sells food and pool with kid splash zone + the location (right on rt 9 near sea isle) couldn't be better ! It is a campground with a beautiful lake, nice pool, and many things to do. It has paddle boats, and active like guards on duty. The store has good prices and the food is priced reasonably, and the food is good. I loved my stay here and recommend it to anyone who likes camping.

We stayed for a week at OVR in site G158. It was a very large site with more than enough space for our 34 foot trailer, gazebo, etc. The seasonal sites on either side of use were well taken care of and the owners were very nice. Sites are a little tight in some spots to get into, but are well shaded. The heated pool was nice. The mini golf was a big hit with our kids! There is a tram that runs in the evenings from the front of the campground and will drop you off anywhere you want. There are a lot of kids riding around on bikes and not watching where they are going, but other than that we didn't have any real issues. My husband and I were wishing we had brought our bikes as the campground is very large and we did a lot of walking to get up to the pool, etc.

My son lives in Philly and whenever he and his wife and son have a day off they make their way down to spend a weekend. They have nothing to say other than great things about Oceanview. My wife and I will be spending July 4th at Oceanview. I can say now it will not disappoint.

Visited 2019. Our second camping trip with our travel trailer ever. Close to popular beaches but the campground is self sufficient and you do not need to leave unless you want to. A lot of family friendly activities! Lots of trees and shade at almost every campsite it seemed! Has it’s own lake and pool. Our son loved the pirate themed splash pad kid area by the pool. Just a few miles from ocean city board walk. We plan on visiting here again soon and regularly.

Great camping spot for the kids. Bathrooms are pretty clean, pretty quiet for the most part. Showers do require change to activate. (As of 2021: 25 cents for 5 minutes) Really good showers in my opinion. Friendly service. Wifi on the camp ground is mediocre at best for night time movies. (Would recommend DVD player or sacrifice your Hotspot for better movie streaming service). Some entrances to your designated spots are pretty tight. The spots are great but if you have trouble driving with a trailer, be warned. I would definitely recommend for a family vacation

Stayed at this campground 3 times summer 2020. June, July & August. I have stayed at a number of comparable campgrounds in area. All have been less expensive. But none compare in quality & family friendliness. We bring our grandchildren here & it is a pleasure. They always have someone manning the phone that are helpful & pleasant. Great customer service! We have just put in our reservations for up coming summer. I would give them more then 5 star rating.

The resort itself is awesome.. The lake and pool are great.. Unfortunately the lifeguards are too busy flirting and checking their phones to do their job. The arcade is an absolute joke, considering they just built a brand new store, cafe an outdoor movie theater. I have been coming here for years and absolutely love it.. This year I am very disappointed with the lifeguards and the arcade.

For our first trip ever with our Camper it was a great experience! So many amenities and close to beaches and Atlantic City such as Sea Isle City, Cape May and Wildwood. There's a reasonably priced Cafe if you don't feel like cooking and the grounds are well maintained and the bathouse and restrooms are very clean. We'll definitely be back!

I recommended the campground to my parents cause they have never been to Sea Isle, and I was staying at my sister-in-laws for the weekend so it was the perfect time for them to see the area. So they took my 2 daughter's down with them, and the next day I would meet to pick them up and we could do lunch while I was there... Well little did I know, I had to pay $9 to get in...now I was ok with that....Noooooo, it was $9 Per Person in the car. So I had to pay $36 just to pick my girls up and eat lunch with my parents. If I was less then an hour I could get my money back, but that wasn't gonna happen . All said and done I spent $96 to come in and drop off and pick up my kids and spend time with my parents....Now as far as the campground conditions, it seemed nice. The pool was cool looking. But I don't know if I would recommend going if you're going to have visitors for more then an hour. As much as you pay for the campground, the fee for guests just threw me off. Maybe charge $10 per car instead of per person in car🤷

It's awesome experience. Well decorative & comfortable cabins. It have beautiful lake with white sand. Lake facing playground. Splash park and swimming pool with lifeguard. Special events and activities for all ages. Tram ride, mini Golf and lots of fun.

Been coming here for years and plan on coming back so obviously we like the campground. Our only suggestion would be to clean up the transient sites. There was so many leaves piled up that we barely had room to put down our rug or anything else (should have brought a rake!!). The leaf pile was so bad all around the perimeter that the mosquitos should have paid our lot rent. The neighbors site was cleaned and they didn't have an issue.

Great place to take the family, end of the season camping there is plenty of space to stretch out. Check-in, after office hours at the guard house, was very easy. They have a lake and lots of activities during the summer months for kids.

Just spent the last week at this campground. This was our 2nd stay here. We love it. The beach the pool. Last year our site was a lot bigger then this year. Was very disappointed with the site this year we had to go out and buy a rake to rake leaves so we had more room in the site. Workers are extremely nice and very accommodating. Bath houses are extremely clean. Would recommend this campground.

Arrived yesterday and it’s our first visit here. Perhaps my 3 star rating will improve in the days ahead. We booked late and our site is in the Quail section, not very impressive with all of the old dirty seasonal trailers that are unsightly with junk stored all around. Our site wasn’t even raked prior to arrival. Maybe I’m wrong but I expect more from Sun resorts. I will say the office and store exceeds my expectations. It’s new and absolutely well stocked.

This was our second time visiting OVR. Overall it’s a great campground. We love the pool and lake. The camp store is great with plenty of supplies if you forget anything for your camper. If i could change one thing it would be that the showers require you to pay with quarters. I recommend visiting OVR. Great times.

This is a really great place to spend your summer. They have so many fun things you can do. Who doesn't love Christmas in July? Halloween in August complete with parade, trick or treating and a dance to end the night. They offer activities for kids, families and sometimes adult only ones. The yoga/palattes sessions in the morning was a nice way to start your day. They also offer crafting projets, candy bingo and live music. If you're not into group activities you'll still be happy there. They have a large lake to cool off in after laying on the sandy beach that surrounds it. The snack shop is right there with friendly people and good food. They have a game room near the boat rental booth if you want some shade but aren't ready to leave yet. You can play shuffle board in that area too. If you don't like sand or lakes they also have a large pool. You can relax at the umbrellaed tables they provide while watching your kids have a blast in the pirate themed water play area. Or you could join them and have a water cannon fight. There are so many things to enjoy that I couldn't even list half of them without making this into a book length review. Visit once and you'll see why so many people choose this as their summer get away.

We loved this place, it is very family oriented. We stayed here over the summer. They have a great pool. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They had activities scheduled throughout the week. This is simply just a great place to camp in New Jersey. This place is very clean and there is a lot to do. Clean bathrooms, friendly service. Honestly, there are just so many things to list. All we will say is that this place is just all around a great experience. Oh yes, If your rig needs service they come to your site for service. They have great WIFI Signal. We were sad to leave when it was time to go

I stayed for about 10 days in a cabin. The area was super clean and the bathrooms are pristine! The price is good and staff are great. The lady who worked the guard building at entry is so super nice! We loved her! I had paid but with the hurricane hitting it was during my time to stay and they let me move my stay to a different time with no charge. That’s good business! There was only two things I didn’t like but I can’t blame the campground. One was the noise early every morning with trucks and bulldozers which were on the main road. That was probably due to branch cleanup from the storm. One morning my sister yelled at the young guy and I felt bad for him. He was using a leaf blower. They have to maintain the grounds but maybe do it in the afternoon but with check in at 2 they probably can’t. The other negative was some of the people that stay there, they are not friendly at all like in other campgrounds. This nasty fugly ten year old was a nasty bully to my two year old. I took care of that and I doubt she will do it again. I give this 5 stars and would definitely come back!

We camped there 1 time and just bought a travel trailer there. Lots of bath houses and Laundromats that are exceptionally clean. The entire campground is exceptionally clean. Loads of fun for children, and pet friendly too. Wish it was open all year!!!!!

I believe this was our 5th year of coming to OVR. This year we stayed in an older rental between two seasonals at the lake. I am a grandmother raising 3 grandchildren. The two who are bi-racial were actually snickered at by other children and their parents. I found it hard to believe!!!! The child who is blonde and blue eyes made many friends and parents asked if their child could play with him. BTW, all 3 children have special needs. >>>>>Last year we stayed in t227- it was clean upon arrival- we come every year for HALLOWEEN. This year my sig other left early because it was dirty when we arrived-their were cobwebs, a dead mouse smell, a missing remote, no frying pAn, a tv that had to be replaced, pillows in the closet, and brown muck in the bathrooms. My daughter came in place of John, and it was too dirty for her. At this point, the kids were crying to not leave. We actually had considered buying a cottage this summer. Instead I had to drag the kids to the shower houses for a clean smelling, shower, toilet and sink,. Not easy. The women who helped me get gas when my car ran out was wonderful!!! THANK YOU!!! THE MAN WHO BROUGHT IT/ THANK YOU!!! ......I sat quietly next to seasonals - who didnt get THE SPOT THEY GET EVERYDAY ON THE BEACH- and had to move after listening to them act ad tho they also owned the beach- instead of welcoming people! Those poor people had no idea- the terrible things that were being said- it was sickening. So were there little girls who snubbed a very friendly little 4 yr old of color- shame on you- PARENTS. When we woke early this am I called the front office to confirm checkout/ was told 11am- - I asked if it was at store or regis area this year- they said at the booth when leaving- I replied- THANKS, see you at 11:-)... at 1o- a woman pulled up to say she had to clean- i explained we were still packing due to heavy rain- but will be done by 10:45- we finished. We never used the bathrooms in the rental- this time- it was too dirty- i did spray down and wipe everything still. I am guilty of not gettting every bit of sand up. And the furniture was all over the place when we came in/ so i thought it didnt matter. We did take pics the days we arrived- but figd due to covid- people mite be afraid to clean. When we arrived home my grandson noticed he left his school math book at the trailer. I called. The answer I recd was we dont have it and it took us 3 hours to clean your trailer this year oh- and last year! oh also you took our quilts!!!! unbelievable! We bring our own bedding- there were 2 pillows there we never touched- and def no quilts. We are not thieves or in need of ovr quilts- how insulting. We had a great time at Ocean View. Our campsite was good size and everyone around us really respected the noise curfew at 11pm. We have a set of three year old twins and there was plenty for them to do. They loved the pirate themed splash pad and the playground at the lake. The lake was the highlight for me. It was nice just relaxing there if we didn't feel like fighting traffic and find parking in sea isle for the day. Highly recommended!

We stayed in site #T136 on the back side of the lake area in a 31' travel trailer. The sites are nice and level but the campground is VERY TIGHT to get your camper down the roads. Ive never seen more narrow roads in a large campground. They are paved though so that made it nice for kids to ride bikes. We did not like the amount of traffic here at all. Many other shore campgrounds we stay at have much less traffic, making it much better for the kids to play and ride the bikes. We have to stop walking every 20 seconds on the roads since there were constantly cars coming, and the roads are so narrow. The lake was nice and clean, as was the pool and splash park area. We commented to ourselves that the community here in general was not quite as friendly as others we frequent and we didnt know if that was because they are mostly seasonal and not a fan of the traveling campers or what. We will go back and try again, but we personally like the quiet of some other nearby resorts better.

Great family camping resort. I would definitely go back. My family has a 29'trailer. Full hook up, nice staff, huge store, large clean pool and play pad for young children. Everything you need is right here. Clean playgrounds, fishing pond and lake with beach. Close drive to local shore points and boardwalk.

This campground is great for sunny days. The pools and beach are great for when it's hot. Unfortunately, there are a lot of negatives. They do not have very many activities for kids. 2-3 per day. Everything closes early, including the pool and beach (7pm). The campground is huge and they do not allow golf carts (personal or rentals). Expect to get a work out are waste your fuel. The majority of this campground are seasonals, and a lot of the sites appeared run down. We will most likely not be returning.

This is hands down one of - if not the best family resorts I've seen. Great facilities, beautiful lake for swimming with a well kept beach, tram car thats a Jeep converted to look like a train that pulls a caboose, extremely clean wash houses, and a very secure location. My only complaint is one security guard is extremely grouchy, but overall its a wonderful place to spend the summer.

We stayed in a lake front trailer for a week in June 2018. The trailer was very nice. The campground was nice. It was so great being so close to the lake. We went to the lake everyday. My kids had a blast. We forgot my 2 year old’s blanket that he won’t sleep without when we came home. We called and they said they had it. We offered to pay for them to ship it back to us. They didn’t want the money and shipped it back to us for free. I am so grateful. My son was devastated. When it arrived in the mail, I’ve never seen him so happy!! Thank you Ocean View campground. We will definitely be back again next year.

Great campground with a lot of nice camp sites. We have been coming here for a few years now and always have a good time. The Sites are all wooded and the pool and lake/beach are really nice. Plenty of things for the kids to do. We come every year for the Halloween weekend. We camp in a 34ft fifth wheel.

If you don't want to follow the rules this is the place for you. Running kids at pool, jumping in and almost hitting us while two young life guards more interested in what they were eating than what was going on around them. Bicycles at night without head or tail lights with kids riding without concern for cars or walkers and in posted walkways. If you can tolerate this, it's a very clean, well kept campground with lots of options with pool, lake, etc. Please enforce your rules and it would deserve a 5 star rating.

I stayed here at Ocean View Resort with my family this past weekend in a cabin. This was my first time camping (although the cabin can't really be considered camping, lol) and I just wanted to tell you that we had such a great time! This resort is absolutely great for families as well as adults. My son and nephew (both toddlers) had an absolute blast. You guys really do a great job and everyone there is just so nice. I felt like it was a place where memories can be made for years to come. We will definitely be back and I told some co-workers about the place and just found out that they already booked for July 4th weekend! See ya next year!

This is a family favorite of ours. We have been going for about 9 years now. It's very centrally located and family oriented. The tram car is a big treat for the kids! July is a big month for the French people, you may feel like you are in a foreign country at that time. We drive up to Ocean Cities boardwalk very frequently and the ride up is nice. It's become like a second home. The bathrooms are updated and very nice, but on a hot week don't think you are drying your hair all the way because it gets too humid in the un-airconditioned bathrooms. The lake and pool are great, the store and game room nice as well. My only grievance is how hardy the price has gone up over the years. We could surely get a condo at the beach for the week the same price as the trailer rental, but we have grown attached to the place. :)

We had a wonderful family camping trip. There were things that definitely need changing. After reading some of these reviews, I see after a year they were not changed. Here are some things that were mentioned in reviews and OCR had comments on, but didn't change anything. What the guy was mentioning about mobile park, he was saying all of the permanent sites and park models you have! More then 1/2 your camp ground consists of these. They are just like mobile homes in a way. The hours of some of the activities did not make any sense for a campground. Why would your mini golf only open at 6pm? Why would you close paddle boats at 4 when the lake is open till 7? It's summer and you close your pool at 7, most places its at least 8 or 9. They are right about some of the life guards, didn't even look like they paid attention. The one actually had sneakers on. Would he jump in with sneakers to save someone? This is summer when families are on vacation and you have to many time restrictions. Also the tram car. You don't have it running through the whole campground! How are the people not on that route suppose to get to the lake with chairs and stuff? Also the employee taking reservation failed to tell me the tram only runs through certain sites. Also there is a HUGE skunk problem. We had talked to people that have camped there for years and had said this was an issue every year. So if this is an issue why not set traps up ad get them out of there. It was the same 2 every night around the same time. So instead of enjoying our campfire, we had to keep going in the camper to get away. These are just some issues that have been brought up and I think they could have been changed from a year ago. On a positive note, the pool and lake area are nice and clean. There are two snack areas to buy food, they are a little pricey I feel. Having the security of coming in with a pass is nice also. I know most places check out at 11 but to say they have to clean sites and fire rings, well when we left the guy was coming around and he was out of our 2 sites in less then 5 minutes. There was nothing to clean up. I would return here with my family because we had a great time, but I would love to see some of these issues addressed since more then 1 person have mentioned them. Again the campground is very nice and clean and lots of things to do. But just needs some changes to it.

Few more restaurants option would jave been better. Would love to go there again.

My family and I stayed here for 6 days June 25th to July 1st right before the rush of the forth of july. We had a great time the kids had something to do everyday, there's plenty of activities for young and older kids. Very family friendly very clean from the bathrooms to the sites. We stayed in a 1 room cabin which was a great experience. Our only issue was the traffic of constant cars in and out and towing the big trailers. I know this would be tough for the campground to fix because it's very popular and busy. It's probably best to have a site far away from the lake, pool, and front gate if you have small children. There should be less traffic areas there.

Very clean and lots to do.... we have a 33 ft 5th wheel and put in T129... a very tight squeeze. After an hour of trying and ripping off the awning we called the front desk and they sent someone to back it in for us. The roads are so narrow getting out of the site was also challenging and we hit a few trees.

I've been coming here for over 20 years. I absolutely love this campground BUT I do believe that some issues need to be seriously addressed, such a cars going way way too fast! There's so many families walking around and cars speed down the main roads. The drivers do not even care about little ones in the road!!! The pool hours need to be extended with better life guards, the mini golf needs better times to be open for the kiddos to play and the snack stand and gift shop are too expensive. Also, the paddle boats need better timing to be able to be used as well. Other then that, It's always been a very quiet and family oriented campground and has many great updates such a the newer cabins, clean bath houses, nice laundry rooms and the pirate splash park for the kiddos. The game room has always been great as well. The trolley is awesome to take at night, especially to see everyone's camp lights. It's a very relaxing ride to take the kiddos on. They're are also walking trails. Also, the themed weekends are a blast to see everyone's decorations. The security check-in is also a great feature. I've always loved this place and I love that it's been a family tradition for over 20 years. I made many friends there over the years. It's a great place to get fresh air and to relax and be able to have a camp fire at night. I love that it's only minutes from Sea Isle and The Cape May Zoo. It's also not very far from Wildwood either. It's a great location but having those certain issues addressed and fixed, especially the speeding cars and the life guard situation will make it a 5 star campground. People travel quite far to travel here to experience Ocean view Resort Campground, some as far as Canada. All of us campers, or seasonals, pay alot of money to come here and stay. It is not cheap to stay here. Please address certain issues and do not brush them under the rug or it will deter people from coming back instead of experiencing a great vacation.

We decided to stay at this campground because it was close to the ocean and seemed to have a lot of activities for the kids. The lake was very nice, the campground is close to the ocean, but the activities for the kids weren't as good as some other campgrounds we've stayed at. The basketball hoops need some updating, and the game room was expensive as well as the mini golf. We normally are hammock and tent campers but decided to stay in the cabin as most sites in NJ don't have too many trees and are on the smaller side. I think I would have rather stayed in a tent as the mattresses on the beds in the cabin were terrible. They were extremely uncomfortable, to the point my husband and I were dreading having to go to bed at night. My tent is more comfortable. It's a good thing we mostly laid around on the beach all day as we would have been too exhausted if we were doing anything more strenuous.

Great campgroud, very clean nice new bathrooms (9 of them thoughout the huge park), great amenities, very nice layout with a large pool, waterpark section for the kids, concession stand with a full grill, large camp store, tram car, great Wi-Fi (included), the list goes on. I was very impressed. The only thing they need is a seperate walkway because it does get busy and you have to be real careful while driving of the people walking and on bikes everywhere, drive slow!

We stayed here in the middle of July, probably the hottest week of the year. The facilities here are in excellent shape, the bathrooms near us seemed brand new but lacked air conditioning and also charged 25 cents per 5 minutes of shower water. The kicker is, there is no change machines in the shower areas nor the laundry areas as well. The pool is a great size and the lake/pond is a great swimming area. They have an arcade and mini-golf but they are limited in what times they are open. I would strongly recommend taking a bike or golf cart with you, this campground is quite large in size. One word of caution, if there is a hard rain, chances are your site will flood. There is a lot of standing water whenever it rains. Overall, the location of the campground is about 30 minutes from wildwood/cape may and 30 minutes from Atlantic City. The nearets beach is Avalon which is only like 10 minutes away. The nearest boardwalk is Ocean City which is approximately 10-15 minutes away. This campground is very centrally located. As for the other comments on the friendliness or lack there of the staff, I would say they are quite accurate. I was not greated very pleasantly upon my arrival and I had to ask to be shown where my campsite was on a map. I once witnessed what seemed to be a boss and an employee arguing over hours right there in front of me while I was trying to purchase ice. Also, I wouldn't expect the lifegaurds to save your life when you are swimming, a few times I witnessed them sleeping in the chair. How could I determine this? The gaurd did not have glasses on and it was quite obvious he was asleep.

This was our second Memorial Day weekend in a row that we stayed at Ocean View Resort. This year we stayed in a pull-thru spot (E-21) and the pull thrus will definitely be our first choice in the future. Wider and longer than the spot we had last year. We really like the campground and its convenience to all the different shore points. The only thing we "really" dislike is the 11am checkout. At $80+ per night it is ridiculous that you have to be out by 11am. Really, how many people are checking in on a holiday Monday? Monday is a wasted day when you have to spend the morning packing up and out by 11am. How about 2 or 3pm no matter what day you are checking out? The other thing that could use a bit of tweeking is the check-in. The line was too long and it took too long to get people checked in which resulted in difficulty finding a parking spot for a 37' rv and toad in their parking lot while waiting to check in. The people were nice though and you could see they were doing their best to get people out as quickly as possible.

We absolutely Love everything about this campground "EXCEPT THE SKUNKS!!! For past few years our family has tried several different locations on property, and every trip and EVERY NIGHT, we had a problem!! I tried using extra lighting, no garbage or food on site, even tried ammonia soaked rags in site corners as security recommended! And they would still just come on site and walk under your legs while sitting by campfire!! They are not afraid of humans!! I cannot relax by a nice campfire PARANOID every night waiting for the uninvited guests ( SKUNKS) to show up! Can someone please comment back? I really want to come back and I would like to know if this Skunk issue is under control?? 😬

This is my 4th time on vacation here large campground people very nice bathrooms always clean we tried there cabins this year clean neat clise 2 bathrooms n loved to catch the train that takes you around the campground lots of activies also for children and adults cant say enough nice things about area and campground cant wait till next year to book my vacation there again

It was amazing but 1 thing..... I did not like that people were allowed to smoke in the lake and pool areas. When you are trying to relax the smell of smoke comes in.
