Reviews of Zuccotti Park
Alessio Zuccotti
Well maintained and clean park. I visited the park at the end of November and it was already decorated for Christmas with all the lights on the trees. Really nice atmosphere.
Leanne M
Cute little park that is nice to pass through or have a seat and enjoy some coffee or the day. Beautiful sculptures and art to admire as well
Ellie W
This is a really small park in the middle of Manhattan. It is the first park to exist in New York. It has a water fountain in the middle with benches around it to sit down on. Both times I passed by there were people pausing there. There are trees and grass that give a little bit of space.
Beth Ellor
Well designed public area with many seating options - benches, tables, well spaced and made of marble. Many trees and shade, breezy, only downside was little tiny flying insects drawn by our food, but a minor issue. Being set in the densely populated area, and yet serene, uncrowded, and leisurely. Very pleasant (with a salute to the memory of the Occupy Wall Street encampment).
Indika Chandrasiri
This is a really nice place to have a seat and enjoy some awesome food from the food trucks around especially when it is not cold. Don't forget to try food from the food trucks around.
David Fletcher (RegNeoJazz)
Small city park.
A place to get a quick meal from the food trucks and take a seat on the many seating platforms.
The park was clean.
Miriam Noyola
Zuccotti Park is located in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan, New York, NY and bounded by Broadway to the east, Liberty Street to the north, Trinity Place to the west, and Cedar Street to the south. It was created in 1968 and formerly named Liberty Plaza Park because it was situated one block south of One Liberty Plaza. The northwest corner is across the street from Four World Trade Center. I enjoy visiting the park and seeing the local tourists and financial workers.

Really nice little park for sitting and enjoying lunch. There are usually food trucks nearby and there is abundant seating in the park, with a lot of shade from surrounding trees.
Also a good place to play Pokemon Go, as my son points out!
prem sai
A variety of street vendors with food, ice creams, bubble tea and hats. We can sit, eat, relax and have fun. We ate Sam’s 100% our vegetarian food cart. Falafel platter and sandwich are nice for that price. A little park surrounding with huge buildings around is cinematic.
got com
Not much to do or look at, just sit on uncomfortable blocks? You cannot even feel connected to the iconic statue of the sitting business man from the 80s as he was moved very close to the road and this does not feel right-too close Broadway. Move him back!
Adesoye Adeboye
Beautiful outdoor park in Broad Street, lots of places to sit and birdwatch also. There are outdoor food vendors around here and it's very close to the Metro station and other interesting places around Lower Manhattan.
Anthony Boziaris
A nice place to drink your morning coffee, before you begin exploring the city! Very clean and calm atmosphere. I visited in July.
Bertram Doerfler
This is more of a people highway than a park. It connects world trade center to FiDi. Lots of food trucks for lunch time though...
Dinara G
I love this park, especially during Christmas season. The entire park is lighten up. Lights on bushes are sparkling.
This is very nice place to take pictures, or just walk through the park.
In summer time it's nice just to sit there and read a book, but it could be a little loud.
Night times are usually quite and much less people.
A nice little park within very busy business district.
Sergey Blashkov
It is a good place to walk and have lunch.
In the morning and evening the lights on the trees makes it glow beautifully.
It has granite benches and few tables.
Nishanth Krishnamurthy
The setting for the park is quite peaceful and serene. Seems like a great refuge from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. The only problem I have is that they in-not-so-many-words state that homeless people aren't welcome - which is their right since it's a private park after all - but it doesn't do anything to alleviate the skepticism that people have about the abundance of wealth accumulating at the top in the surrounding area like Wall Street compared to those at bottom of the economic ladder.
Rites
My regular hangout for stress relief.
Hezy Jamez
A Beautiful small park on the side of Broadway between Cedar and Liberty...between Broadway and Church. During the day time, there is multiple food carts that line the side of Cedar St. At Nights during the Holiday Season. All the trees are lighted up which makes for some "Must Take" pictures and Videos. A definite Must see at Night, You will not be disappointed.
SERCAN OZCELIK
decent park! across from the red cube and usually very clean and lots of food trucks nearby and there are subway situation very close to it.
A C
Great area to unwind, enjoy a meal, and relax for a bit, amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. The area is well kept and clean.
Agbemenu Noel
Nice views. Clean environment. A nice place to have some fresh air and do some thinking
debjyoti das
A small and beautiful park that is open to public with a few public arts on display. There are a few street food options like juices, smoothies, and kebabs so it makes a good place to take a bench and have lunch.
Sarah Hartman
Nice park with a few green spaces and art pieces. Grounds were well kept and easily accessible.
Applied ESL
Nice place to grab a coffee or some food and relax. Close to the 4/5, R subway stations and PATH trains. A convenient place to hangout in lower Manhattan.
joey rehavi
Great park to have your lunch in if you’re in the neighborhood, a must walk through during Christmas
Zing Z
Lovely public space for a picnic. Beautiful in all seasons. Lots of food trucks around. Great ice cream too.
Shubhendu Dey
A concrete park in the mid of a concrete jungle. Very nicely setup for relaxing while you walk down the midtown. Lot of trees well decorated during winter, specially the floor built in lights make the park very special in summer also. During spring nice tulip flower bulbs decorate the place well. Busy small shops around this place offers some good food choices. Very near to world trade centre.
Rhonda Mona
Always beautifully decorated during the holiday season.
melina el
Always a happy place to sit, eat, or just take a load off. If you're lucky, you may even catch a food festival which includes international cuisines like Jamaican, Italian and Latin foods.
David Walker
We grabbed some lunch from the vendors there and we absolutely loved the food and sitting down in the park to enjoy it. This was a nice break on our walk around downtown.
John Solder
Nice spot in lower Manhattan for lunch carts and an outside break. Neat WTC
Juan Carlos Vallejo
A nice place to get the closest experience to an intimate spot in the city. Beautifully lighted in the night but also nice in the day.
ART BY RICHIE
Quiet place in a busy city during holiday season.
Shavonne Brasher
Every park is a good park in NYC. Many lunches happened here...
Crystal Romero
Amazingly gorgeous, the lights at night look so beautiful and the big rose was super cute😍💖. Such a great feeling with trees full with lights.🤗 …
Bryan Aiello
I've eaten tons of whoppers in this park. Little stone tables and a view of the bustle and world trade.
Mr Moody
A good experience of busy New York especially life 😌 …
Tokendra Magar
Peaceful and heavenly experience!! One should visit this place especially in Christmas 😍😍 …
Srinivasa Rao T
Good street food and a nice place to hangout under large trees .
Kannan Thirumalai
Nice place to sit and relax after a long walk. A lot of food carts around!
Harshad Pandit
Concrete and granite paver park in lower Manhattan with flower beds and trees. Great place to relax and have a bite. Lots of food vendors serving everything from egg sandwiches, hotdogs to spicy Indian food. Quench your thirst with fresh fruit juices. Some of these vendors are open 24 hrs x 7 days. Close to WTC and Wall Street.
Connor Taylor
It's a neat place if you happen to be in the area (like visiting the trade towers memorial) but I can't recommend going out of your way just to see this except for maybe Christmas.
devona beckles
Fun place to sit and relax or have lunch
Bruce Popejoy
Stopped in the park to have lunch from the food vendors on my way to Brooklyn Bridge...nice day so I leisurely are lunch taking in the park and the bustle of the locals. I will definitely try to come back and have lunch there again.
Paul Rivera
It's a park. Nothing spectacular about this, it's more of a resting stop on your way to the park
Aaron Tolson
Cool Clean park with eclectic food trucks
Noah Langford
Nice little park to sit and hang out in downtown Manhattan. Really pretty Christmas decorations they have set up
David Kachmar
Sometimes you just need to stop and take in your surroundings, appreciate the vib about you and just appreciate the sights n sounds ... ☮️💟 …
Stephanie morgan
I wish there were more Parks like this in Texas! The park was a breath of fresh air clean and a great place to unwind. I hope the locals know what treasures they have in their City.
Remember to take a deep breath grab a park bench and enjoy the peace.
Breenique #justLookingOutMyWindow Johnson
I walk pass this place often. Never actually been inside the park or whatever other really is. Just around it.
It is seasonally nice
Godwin Oloja
Nice but very cold. Snow everywhere 😑 …
Robert Hernandez
Is very nice place to have light outdoors lunch.
Ana Sims
Sweet little sitting area. It has a few tables but mostly seating. You can find lots of street food vendors out there. The park is well maintained.
D K
Wonderful memories here - Afternoon lunch gathering with friends, evening chats and holiday lights during winter and ground lighting in summer. Gives different perspective whenever you go.
John Beck (BeekrJR)
Great place to take a break and enjoy a snack. Plenty of food carts and little to no trash.
Jaime Campbell
When the weather is nice, it's a nice spot to just sit down and have your luncheon. A small sitting area to just unwind a little. But when it's winter and snow I feel for a warm weather person will rather be home and enjoy the snow/ winter from the inside. Nothing special about it except its near the twin tower memorial and world trade center mall near a couple of food carts to buy and just go there to sit with family and friends at by yourself sitting around surrounding small area trees and seatings 💺
Rohan Moitra
Nice open space in the middle of bustling downtown. Lots of food carts all around!
Makarand Abhyankar
Nice and clean little park with lot of places to sit down and relax. Special mention Sam's Falafel Cart ultimate taste
Giorgi Mikanadze
I love this space
John “JR” De Crotie
The food vendors here are shady at best. There always seems to be no available seats in the park.
Khalida Nurilova
A chill little park that gets dressed up with festive lights during the holidays.
Joey Be
Very nice park to chill and eat lunch.
Gabriel Gualteros
On your way to the 9 11 memorial check out the sculpture....
Cyndi Canning
Loved the outdoor space in this part of NYC.
P S
Summer Wednesday currently taking place with music for entertainment. Sit here and eat your lunch!
Peter S
Nice area to set their specially if the weather is good
shar s
Beautiful place to relax, eat and hangout with friends
Ken and Alicia Lund
Really pleasant urban park with lots of great sitting areas.
Koda Ko
Beautiful small park on hectic streets. Pretty lighting on the floor and trees at night.
Beth Ann
Really pretty. Finally for double check businessman. 😀 …
Peter Grunow
Paying respects on 9/10 , this park is a quiet, tree covered park with many vendors to choose a snack or meal.
Clean and well attended grounds.
The city is still quite empty. Feels safe.
Go and spread some cash around.
From cabs to street vendors to hotel bell staff and waiters, all are hurting. Enjoy the city while helping it.
Murali Bhojanapalli
One of the best park in town 🙌 …
Sandra Andrews
I always pass by this area when I am in this area. This place was where the infamous Occupy Wall Street area was held. A lot of things have improved. It looks a lot like Pre-COVID now. You can eat ANYWHERE with no problems. You can still eat your lunch and/or enjoy the beautiful weather there.
Bilal Kalaycıoğlu
just sitting here at night and listening to music is like psychological therapy
Daniel Walfield
Nice place to sit and eat lunch. I didn't see any reminders of Occupy Wall Street.
Raksha vashishta
Amazing calm park. Lot of food trucks nearby! I love having some me time just by sitting and eating some food. Please try Indian King Biryani House food truck for fresh tasty Indian food 😀 …
Andrew Le
Sit down and take in the sounds and wonder that is New York city.
There's plenty of seating around and food carts litter the 'park'.
HOLLY YEARWOOD
Beautiful at nights with the ground lights and the one red rose.
Andrew R. Caban
It's a nice ace to have lunch outside if your in the hood. They've got decent food trucks and there are tables & benches. My daughter likes to sneak up on the very tolerant pigeons.
Janne Haapakoski
Good place to sit down and enjoy a hot dog while walking around downtown Manhattan.
Joseph Kushner
We're talking about the zuccotti Park! It's almost one city block. The idea of this is just to have trees so the people of the city who all they see is steell and concrete structures to know that there is a concept of something growing from the ground and looking nice and providing shade and filtering the air and supplying us with oxygen and all the other benefits of a tree but what do they do here in this little disgusting swamp of a city.... They cover every single branch with lights so that the mirror beauty of a natural tree is not seen instead all you see is thousands of little light bulbs lighting up the whole area. New Yorkers, you guys totally missed the boat
joseph B
I love this park. Very good for everyone to visit.
Hector Alicea
A great place to grab a bite and chill 😎 …
Adriana Tejada
Love the tree lights all year round
Faturachman Faturachman
Good but too many pigeons
BASE5NYC
Wonderful little oasis in the Wall Street area. Perfect for lunch from one of the many food trucks & restaurants in the area or just to stop, read the Journal & people watch. It's clean, easily accessible and has plenty of seating.
Will
Very nice park to meet up with a friend, have a little something to eat or play a chess game. Located right by the World Trade Center it is nice place to pass some time.
Tom Garcia
Beautiful little park to get a moment's reprieve from the hustle and bustle that is the financial district. There are a ton of street vendors right nearby as well so if you're looking for a quick bite to eat your options certainly are a plenty. Plenty of places to sit and relax and just take in the nearby sites.
Ricardo Franco
It's a great place to sit down and relax for while. It's a great small break from the big city.
Kseniya Pot.
Light up for holidays space, makes feel as freeze to downtown rush. Has new thing- a rose sculpture contribution to memorable.
Mr O
The park is located just a couple of blocks from the 9/11 area, Wall Street and Trinity Church. It has many places to sit and relax and there also are tables. Most days there are many food trucks parked along the side street next to the park. If you are visiting the area and just need a break or need to kill some time, this is the perfect place. At lunch time the park is full of office workers, tourists and construction workers. It seems to be a safe place and there is always someone there keeping it clean and picking up the litter.
Alejandro Urias Torres
I visited the park in November, lights everywhere. Amazing.
Michael H
Nice little park, but very little protection from the elements/rain. Since Covid there are metal barriers surrounding the park funneling everyone through a small artificial entrance.
And the seats are constantly wet because maintenance guys hose everything down daily (for some reason).
John H
Nice little park. This was the main location of Occupy Wall Street. Some interesting sculptures. Trees lit up by strings of little lights from end of october to after Christmas. Check out the nearby restaurant where you eat in an old bank vault!! Food is good too
Roy Kuntz
Great park. Fun entertainment and good food trucks.
Raksha Vashishta
Nice Park with lot of food trucks around. But quite dirty. There's a lot of scope for maintaining better hygiene protocols
yousef mohamed
Nice place to sit and eat and enjoy the view 😉👌 …
Elom Bowman
Cool place to come and chill on a nice day or evening and have lunch. Right near WTC as well.
Jenna Holliday
Cute sit down area with food trucks! Loved it. Could be cleaner but it was a great place for a lunch break with family or friends.
JEM Ma
An awesome little park with tables, lots of seats, and sculptures around it, with trees and beautiful lights in the floor/ground of the area. There is a sculpture of a man with a briefcase who I believe was salvaged from 9/11. It's a sad but very nice place to sit and walk through.
Shel X
It’s got nice art works, pretty flowers, PLENTY of benches. I am just not so sure about the lighting in the ground. Layout of the benches does not allow optimal route for the many commuters passing through.
Miguel Rueda
Calling it a park is a bit of a stretch.
It’s best know for the Occupy Wall St protest.
Average food trucks can be found daily.
There are tables and benches for sidewalk scenery watching, but there’s no grass or playground of any sort.
Walk across the street to the World Trade Center or south to Wall St.
Von Echevers
Lo Oculto Siempre Sale A La Luz 👁
Great park, in the middle of Downtown. Very clean and peaceful atmosphere. Great to have lunch and relax. …
Ty Fujimura
Quiet space to get a break from the hustle of downtown Manhattan, or to spend a few months fighting capitalism, whatever you’re in the mood for
angel suarez
Seating is ample and a Burger King across the street that serves beer! Only in NYC.
Magna Gopal
Love this little nook in Manhattan! Walking, sitting, or even driving by this park makes you feel like you experienced something magical. It's a nice contrast to the cold feel of the city around it.
david mitchell
A pleasant park that is well set for the lunchtime crowd. It served us well as a place to gather before approaching the 9/11 memorial site on a weekend. Busy thoroughfare. Child friendly. Wheelchair friendly.
Kalpa Taru
The Christmas lighting looks amazing
Santosh Maisuragi
I have wonderful memory of this place. Very near to the new one world trade center and a busy park, with New Yorkers rushing through the park and people enjoying a coffee or a bite on the benches. This park is surrounded by massive colorful sky crappers depicting that typical picture of NYC
mic luvin
Very relaxing atmosphere in a bustling city.
Conrad
Cute little park, great for a date but also a place to just sit, have lunch, and talk. Possible side effects include being broken up with because there's a feeling of freedom seldom felt in NYC.
Gliden Rivera
Relaxing. Friendly atmosphere. Shaded by trees and a nice place to sit and meditate or have lunch with a friend or that special someone. Highly recommended. You will enjoy it.
Jesse Meyerson
Historical implications of the park’s significance from Occupy Wall Street aside, the park is one of better pocket parks in the city especially for the immediate area. A lot of food trucks surrounding the area as well many brick and mortar restaurants. There’s a good variety of cement seating and tables.
arthur johnson
Met a friend in the chilly evening air surrounded by twinkling white lights decorating the trees and NYers and tourists taking photos. Excellent.
Hartmut Ott
We took the 2 hour tour at 1pm, it is about 2 hours. They will take you first to the mining museum and then to the actual mine for about 1hr. Make sure you take a sweater with you, it is about 58 degrees inside the mine. Good tour for younger kids and even families with stroller.
Casey Penk
Not really a park, more of a plaza. They have benches and tables but they're concrete and not very comfortable, so this is best if you need a quick rest after visiting the 9/11 Memorial.
This place has good vibes because of the Earth-shaking protests that took place here.
Shanda Renee
One of the best hidden secrets for Pokemon Go players. 2 Gyms and a ton of Pokestops within walking distance. Lots of seating and food if you just want to lure and chill. Best for nighttime questing, as it is pretty busy during the day.
Calvin Swint
I remember the 1 percent movement but I think the lights re so suggestive but the statues are the coolest to take a picture with. I'm always convinced the people statues are in motion.
Harry Bradley
It's a small park and doesn't have much in the way of plants (trees, flowers, grass, etc.) as I might like. It is a good place to get out of the office for a bit I suppose.
The thing it's known for is being the birthplace of the Occupy Wallstreet movement. That has since dispersed and there is no indication in the park of the movement ever having been there.
Riechel Fiel
Beautiful 26-foot steel rose sculpture
Derek Damien Darcy
Stopped to grab a bite to eat. Grabbed our food and crossed over to zucotti Park to eat. Nice atmosphere and relatively clean park for NYC
John Ong
It's well maintained, considering it's a public park. Security officers also make their rounds every so often to make sure people are safe.
Bharat Sridhar
Beautiful little open area in between the skyscrapers of Manhattan
Anthony Lopes
For kids that love to play with water, don't forget your swim suit ;)
Hugo Xavier Bastidas
Sam's Falafel Street Cart (south side of park). Best Falafel pita bread sandwich or salad in Lower Manhattan. Filled with falafel, eggplant and greens, this sandwich will fill you and delight you all at the same time. There is always a waiting line at that cart, however they are quick and polite. What can 5 bucks get you? A fabulous Falafel sandwich!
Shlomo Levi
Nice place to visit, perfect architecture around , nice place for tourists and selfie’s nice view in the day, beautiful lightening on dark time of the day lot of attractive place around. Clean and nitty .nice job made, if you bring food you will have your lunch in nice heart of New York
dew chan
When the Christmas lights are up and you're walking by, the view is quite good.
Hiren Gandhi
Nice peaceful place to relax
Vladimir Jovanovic
This is popular lunch spot with bunch of food carts for many workers and tourists, so it can get pretty crowded small space. There can be a lot of food leftovers on busy hours which can make this area appear dirty. Other than this, it's a cozy urban park with little green surfaces and good looking contemporary art. The Commuter statue represents more traditional art and is a great photo spot. Overall, good place to catch a breath if you're sightseeing Downtown Manhattan.
Dencil Smith
Nice little park with plenty of places to sit. Surrounded by a lot of trees so you do not have a clear view all around but it is helpful if you are looking to escape the sunlight.
Inon D
Great place to chill with many seats options
William Biesty
Turned out the vivid tulips were a gift of the "florist banksy". Read about it the next day. Cool place to eat your lunch. Very busy. Occupy wall street seems like a dream now.
Hanna D
Nice and quiet place in the middle of Financial Center. You can have a rest in the shade of trees on a bench. Zucotti Park is open 24 hrs and has cool lighting.
G Aquino
This place was in the news for a time because of the Occupy Wall Street protests in 2011. Saw it for the first time in 2018, when it was nicely lit and dressed up in time for the Christmas holiday. It’s small and is located in a perpetually busy area so it gets packed pretty fast.
Anje Schouteet
Had a picnic here twice with a performance in the background. Blessed.
Rebel Hippy
Been sitting in this park to enjoy a bite since I was a kid. Mom worked downtown and this was the break spot, glad to still have it ⭐
Sebastian Sinisterra (CitySeby)
Not really a park in my opinion, but more of big plaza. There's seating EVERYWHERE, which is convenient during lunch break(s). there's Halal food carts and fast food joints all around this park. The Fulton Center is nearby, as well as PATH trains to Newark and Hoboken.
Supun B Attanayake
An urban city park. Good to relax from the buildings all around. Nothing much to see but the landscaping is beautiful.
John L
Zuccotti Park is a little park with tables and chairs for international chess and checkers along with benches for folks to sit and relax from sightseeing all day long.
It is a hop skip and a jump from Wall Street, One World Observatory, the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, the Statue of Liberty Ferry and City Hall.
What a beautiful day to sit and enjoy my Burger King Double Bacon Cheeseburger meal with Onion Rings and a Coke.
The park is well kept and clean all the time and is constantly being maintain throughout the day.
NYC 2020.
Tameka Carraway
It was extremely hot outside, but the park had great shade! It was even better at night due to the built in lights on the ground. So peaceful
Saurabh Rai
It a small park next to world trade center. But at this time of year it has been decorated very nicely. It has lot if place to sit and rest and enjoy food.
Dream Maker
If you are tired after walk around the city .. you can take little time to get rest..
Matt Sweetwood
Iconic Park. Convenient cut through and lots of lunch trucks.
Michael Snyder (Emphatik)
Great place to grab lunch! Lots of restaurants and eateries around to bring back to eat at Zuccotti. Very clean
Elizabeth Mannion
Not a park, with trees and such, but a very pleasant public space to meet or people watch. There are tables and benches and food trucks, if you want to enjoy the pleasant weather.
Jose Velez
Good place to go with the family
Max Dorsey-Gordon
Seemed like it would be bigger given the amount of people that flocked to it for Occupy. But every time I see it I'm blown away at how relatively small the space is.
Nice park to sit and eat lunch.
Iuri Ghz
In the Winter or Summer this place always will be place to relax, take a break and say thank you for the "nature in city".
Anita L. Hooker
Nice place to take pictures at night!
Avraham Schwartz
Beautiful place to relax. Many tables and chairs.
srivathsan varadarajan
Great place to eat, picnic style
Arnie Schlissel
Just a pocket park.
In a spectacular place.
Weekdays there's a good food cart scene for lunch.
CorreyHope Kustin
A very sad park that haunts me. This park holds the howls of 9-11 and you can take a seat next to the statue of The Commuter.Sit by the homeless and see the debris of lunch spilling all over. Recall the days of Occupied Wall Street when the protesters held signs and crowds were taunted by the police who hurt people.
This privately owned park is a sparse square with abstract art, seats and trees. It's popular spot for food vendors and busy people passing by for a quick lunch.
Michael Catelli
Great spot to grab lunch in the afternoon or a quick bagel in the morning. There are always carts ready to serve, though seating at lunch can be tough.
Annabella Gunn
So lovely at Christmas time and there are 3 food carts and outside dining tables
Jon Mizrahi
Loved the rocking chairs but would appreciate some additional greenery. Was also quite loud but that's the city I guess
Venky Raps
I love this place. Plenty of food choices.
Sam’s Falafel is my favorite. If you like falafel, worth trying this place.
There are few nice Biryani carts too.
We take food and eat in the seating area.
Jean Pierre Buise
Must to see for a beautiful pictures and views during winter holidays! But was the only trip I spent there in December so, I suppose can beautiful also all of the other seasons 🤓 …
Nichole Rolon
Nice place to sit and enjoy the view. There are stands all around to grab a snack.
Brian L
The famous Zuccotti Park where OWS took place, is actually a really nice place while it's not being occupied. If the weather permits, it's a great place to sit and have lunch. They have a bunch of food vendors all around and some good restaurants too. They have a lot of seating all around the park.
Eva Tijerina
Beautiful Resting Area to Enjoy after a Long Walk or just to sit and Admire the Scenery around you. Perfect Romantic setting.
Jack Kool
Beautiful park nice and quiet. To eat food o your lunch break or just to relax for a minute or so...
Jorge Picado
Nice place to take a break and look around without been in the multitudes...
Carl Beltran
With trees and lots of benches, it's a great place for lunch breaks. During Christmas season, it's a magical sight with the trees adorned with LED lights.
Rachael Bratt
Nice shady spot to eat with "friends ".
Eli M

A great place to be at night
The venue can serve a multipurpose function like relaxing, skating etc. And it's located in the heart of Wall Street business district 😍🤩 …

This is where Occupy Wall Street started. They have changed the park since then to lessen the chances that any protest will happen there again. It wouldn't be bad except instead of redesigning the entire park they simply added a bunch of"benches". They benches are giant slabs of granite work dividers too stop people from lying down. There is no rhyme or reason as to where the benches are placed. Several of them have one end inches away from a tree, which makes sitting impossible. It is nice though to have a shady place to sit in that part of the city.
H Carter
Lots of food trucks, even more on fridays

Zuccotti Park was once called Liberty Park which is a 33,000 square foot privately owned but is opened to the public. The name changed after it was badly damaged by the Sept 11th attack.
The park is located at the intersection of Cedar, Broadway, Trinity Place and Liberty St.
Zuccotti Park has three sculptures (used to have four). Can you find them? Located on one side, you will see a 70 foot tall sculpture consisting of red beams called the Joie de Vivre. On the opposite end you will find a 26 foot tall blooming rose Somewhere in the middle there is supposed be a business man sitting on a park bench. Can you find it?
I was too caught up watching a chess master teaching a young man and his father how to play that I totally lost track of time and forgot to look for it and take a picture.
The park is a nice way to people watch, eat your food, or just to take a breather and rest your tired feet.
During the holiday season the light up the trees and it is certainly breath taking and picture worthy.
T V Charan

Nice and cosy place to relax in the busy wall Street area. A pure vegetarian stall sells Hummus which tastes very good.
Christopher Brannon
When I was out there protesting against Obama and the federal reserve with occupy wallstreet for 6 months I never thought I'd be told to shut up by those same people for being a straight white Christian male. When I got that lawsuit settlement for being beaten and illegally arrested at the protests I never thought I'd be told I'm the opressor. After I spent a decade on the streets and got railroaded for minor offenses I never thought someone could call me privileged. After I stood up for trans people getting harassed around occupy I never thought I'd be called transphobic for my objections to medical procedures on children. When I was on radio talkshows, prime time interviews, and had a front page newspaper appearance I never thought I would become someone who is silenced.
Peter Grotticelli
Site of a glorious open-air commune back in 2011. Occupy continues all over the west coast and especially in Eugene, where we camp out, grow food and give it away for free, rock and roll in the local bars, and invite all of you who read these reviews nostalgically to come out west, to grow the revolution with us, to grow it big enough that its ripples melt away the matrix all over the world. We're making a movie about it too. The hivemind will not have it any other way. How much you wanna bet that the money won't be burning in our fire pits twenty years from now?
Saikat Ganguly
Such a hidden gem in the heart of the city.
Irsik Maria
Nice view, good for tourists
STRONTIUM 90
Thanks for letting people use you during protests. The government is trying to divide the population and dumb it down through mass media propaganda. I just ask that you watch some alternative sources of information. Be more active in your political logical leaders. Audit the so called federal reserve bank.
Thomas Lytle

Went here in search of the Texas Rangers Apple during the MLB ASG 2013. Not sure why this is a park? Maybe because it's a plot of undeveloped land, but I didn't find it exactly "quaint" "charming" or "peaceful" like I would expect of a park, but it did have the homeless people and vendors selling whatever they could scrap up a few bucks for. I guess in the urban jungle of FiDi this is the best they can do, but where's the greenery??
Matt Tobin
Love the food trucks at this park. The spicy gyros were fantastic.
Stephen Carl Baldwin
A classy, albiet somewhat sterile park in the heart of the Financial District. Today, Zuccotti lacks the entertainment, art, and high-stakes drama of several years back. On a recent visit, only pigeons and tourists were visible. The rules governing how to behave while in the park appear to remain in the same state of permanent flux they were in in the 2011-12 period. To test these ever-changing rules, a guitar was brought into the park and strummed. A policeman soon approached our party and told us that such conduct was prohibited. After consulting the posted rules, and consulting with Brookfield representatives, it was concluded that guitar-playing and singing WAS permitted (until 10 PM). So it goes in Zuccotti - a place where anything can still happen (or be prohibited) on a moment's notice.
Raymond Riepel

My name is Tony Parilla. I came to the park because I wanted to be part of the solution. Instead, I was beaten for my beliefs and the victim of privately owned public park rules. Rules that were changed in order to allow the NYPD to beat us, confiscate and destroy our property, and forcibly evict us from Zuccotti Park. Well, Occupy Wall Street survived the worst they threw at us. We are still here, still fighting for our beliefs, and we are not going to quietly fade away. OWS is ours. We are the 99%!!!
