Reviews of Central Park
I mean it’s Central Park! Listen, I was optimistic about ever going to the city, but the opportunity can about and I jumped on it. Best decision ever!! It’s only something I feel can be experienced in person. Pictures do not do justice! Central Park was amazing! It’s crazy how you can be in the park and not hear the city at all beside a faint siren, but other than that you almost forget your in a big city…. Walked it from top to bottom and still did not see everything. Plenty of places to sit down and relax and just take it all in…
Listen, if you have ever thought about going… DO IT!! I did a bus trip from Bowman bus services and was not disappointed at all. Make the trip!
Best park in the world. You can spend days and hours here and every time you walk through it’s a new experience. Love grabbing breakfast and coffee and taking a walk. Sometimes through the Rambles and sometimes by Strawberry Fields. Love people watching and love watching the rowers on the lake. Beautiful scenery and perfect picture taking.
Just breathe taking autumn experience.
Central park is huge. I wasn't able to walk true the entire park, but what i saw was amazing.
Great experience and feeling.
So peaceful and same moment exciting.
Great runaway between all this tall buildings.
Hands down, one of the best parks that I've ever been to.
Central Park is not only big but also that something for everyone. I love to just walk around and take in the sights.
It's a beautiful park with lots of activities and many scenic spots that are just simply breathtaking. It brings me back to many scenes I've seen in movies.
Central Park is definitely a must when I visit.
Definitely one of the best parks I have ever been to! It was just like how you see it in movies/shows. You will find people walking their pets, local/street musicians playing their instruments, some come with a band. There’s eating options and toilets all around the park. It’s very clean and nicely maintained too. Hands down one of the most iconic places in NYC.
Central Park was 🤩 it’s just like the pictures you recognize where the movies take place and it brings you back makes you feel part of the moves, for some reason the street noise is also blocked you can forget your in a city 🌆 unless you look at the buildings, but it’s beautiful the birds 🦢 chirp, and dogs 🐶walked the horses 🐎 also get their exercise it’s really cool to see a very active park, I thought it would be big empty, and scary but it’s a nice busy, tidy, clean and it was easy to find the things I was looking for!!
It’s impressive to look out and see the line of trees against the buildings on the other side!
One of the best parks in New York and quite possibly one of the best parks that I've ever been to.
Central Park is not only big but it's also a park that has something for everyone. I've been in Central Park for biking, walking, hiking, or just simply exploring.
It's a beautiful park with lots of activities and many scenic spots that are just simply breathtaking. Maybe that's why I always spot people taking wedding/engagement photos there.
Central Park is definitely an iconic spot in New York.
Honest review from a tourist:
There’s more exploring than you could handle in a single day. I think if you took your time 3 days could be enough time to really explore it without rushing through it.
It’s a great spot to find some nature in the middle of this massive city.
Honest one of my favorite things in the city.

Have a great day!!!!
Summer time is just amazing! So many things to see and do. From visiting the zoo, to seeing how creative people are with attracting your attention with their super-extra-side hustle-skills from entertaining kids, singing all the the other normal park stuff.
New Yorkers are so lucky to have a free space like this!
What can I even say about this magnificent place. Iconic, obviously, but also with so many things to do, see, take pictures of and experience.
Just jogging with this amazing view is unforgettable. So many musicians performing near or underneath bridges, chubby squirrels running around, people in bridal attire and so.many.amazing.dogs!!!!
The place is very easy to reach by Subway, Columbus Circle is the easiest way to get to the most epic sites. Get ready to walk, but a pizza pretzel and enjoy NY
A beautiful, easily accessible park. Now is a good time to catch the Fall foliage. There are eating places and toilet facilities around the park. The air is refreshing and there are plenty of walking trails. A walk in the rambles and around the reservoir is relaxing.
A wonderful place in NYC. Worth spending an afternoon there when the weather is right. There are tennis courts, and other venues for sports. You can bring your own food and sit down and eat. Make sure to be respectful of others.
There are many hidden spots in the park with less traffic and more peace. Enjoy exploring!
The green in the city and the heart of Manhattan. The mass of people doing all kinds of stuff. Baseball and chess and fairytale horses. The rocks and the playgrounds and round the pond courses. A forest to in the middle and rocks all through. A place to explore but never enough time. I was there for a day, not enough for me but this park is a grown up. What little parka want to be. I mean what a park. A massive green space in the heart of one of the most exciting cities in the world. A city that still has vibrancy and craziness that so many cities have lost due to gentrification and poverty. Here you run around the park, never alone, with the city looming just at the edge of your vision. Such an amazing park and perfectly kept.
One of the prettiest parks I’ve ever visited, its location in the middle of the city and yet you feel far away. Very calming and beautiful nature inside. You can spend a whole day there. For me it was always a dream to visit the park and I am sure for millions too, and it’s worth it. We came here to sot down and stay calm in the middle of this beautiful park. I think it’s a must see and visit. There are toilets too if you’re looking for it.
First time in Central Park ( daytime experience). I enjoyed the park very much! Lots of families (safety was not a concern), easy access via subway, public restrooms, activities (did not participate so not sure if they are free or not), and trail space that provide a much needed escape from NYC. We had lunch and wandered for a while, wish I had more time in this Clean, open, beautiful, natural atmosphere
Best park experience we've ever had. We have been several times when visiting NYC and always find something new and exciting to do. Take your time and walk around, over a few days. You'll be glad you did.
Its always fun at Central park, the lungs of the city.
You can sit, relax, jog, cycle around the park. It is a great place for tourists and residents alike.
There is a small zoo inside the park. Also there are restaurants inside along with number of food carts.
It’s also a great place for summer sun.
What can I say about Central Park. I love it so much I got married there. The trees and flowers are starting to bloom and they bring paint strokes of color to the gray park. But like I said I found that stroke of color and recommend going to see it for yourself.
Oh and I saw a raccoon in the park. Sound strange but it is a park. And a beautiful one at that.
Great park! A usual tourist attraction of NYC! This park is iconic and you may have seen it so many Hollywood movies. Home Alone 2 was one of it. The movie Hitch also had some scenes shot here.
Park is buzzing during the warm.days of summer and crisp cool days of early fall. Vibrant colors if you go in October. If you are a first timer of out of towner or a foreigner, rules are same to be safe! Don't go in remote , secluded area/corners and don't stay or hang there when it gets dark or too long after the sunset. A lot of walking trails and bike lanes inside. Be careful of the horse buggies and people who are flying on their bicycles when you are crossing live inside streets. The zoo, kids zoo and Bethesda fountains are good attractions. There is always an outdoor concert during the summer! Just follow the official website to stay updated. A lot of street food vendors inside and around the park. Be vigilant, be safe and enjoy responsibly!! Please Keep it clean and watch your kids. There are rocks to climb and trails to walk or jog as much as you want!! Have a nice trip!
Amazing place for a chill in the middle of the New York, no matter if you want to lie on the meadow, jogging, cycling or just go for a walk. It’s so big that you can barely hear the city noise! I have never seen such a big park in the middle of the city before.
Such a beautiful Park ❤️ We hired bikes for 3 hours from Unlimited Biking store about 2 blocks away from the park. So many different parts to the park and things to see and do. Well worth a visit. Such a huge but beautiful park. You can see that everyone is just loving their time there.
Was visiting New York for a few days and decided to take a stroll around Central Park. You definitely need a few hours (maybe even an entire day) to get through the park end to end. The park was very clean, very green and extremely beautiful. Some of the views of the city are really nice from here. Some of my favourite parts of the trail had to be from where John Wick 1/2 were filmed. Aesthetics of some of the structures were really nice. Definitely recommend checking out the park, wear some comfortable shoes for a lot of walking. Maybe plan a day trip and have a picnic during the warmer weather season! Will definitely come back to visit.
Brilliant park to run, did it twice whilst visiting. You could spend hours there. It's so clean and beautiful and full of wildlife. Bursting with Squirrels, Turtles in the lake, and we saw a Racoon on the last day we were there.
Family oriented fun place to visit. Has many vendors, park areas for kiddos and other fun stops along the way. It is only one way for traffic. Can ride electric vehicles but only on roads way. Regular bikes and strollers can go on the inside paths. Tons of green space.
As seen on TV! This place is great because of its importance to a city like New York. This enables New Yorkers to relax and step out of the city and relax. This is also a great place to walk around and get lost as all the paths bend and it feels like a labyrinth. This is change from the city which is just straight lines. Such parks are a necessity in large cities such as New York.
When I visited Central Park, it was beautiful! The park was huge, clean, and aesthetic. It's great that you can see Manhattan. It's always a good time when you're with your friends and families. I walked by myself to Central Park, and it was an experience. It's good to exercise on your own. It was a joy to explore Central Park!
Lovely place, huge green areas that take you away from the busyness of the city.
Huge lakes and bridge great views.
Would recommended hiring bikes and riding around if you can.
Went 3 times in our week in NYC (Looks amazing in snow)
Central Park is an ideal place for a quiet walk, running around the lake. It is a quiet place in the city that never sleep.
Central Park is a must visit in New York, with beautiful places, bridge and great nature in the city. It has a wonderful view of the Midtown skyline, with Billionaires row in center.
You can also find the statue of Alexander Hamilton and the John Lennon Memorial in Central Park.
What can you say about Central Park. Is definitely a nice place to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. There are many different nooks and crannies of the park from Blue Lakes to nice little places for kids. It's a must-see when visiting New York.
Fantastic park! A must see while visiting New York in the summer time. Definitely recommend renting a bike to tour the park and packing lunch to have a picnic. You can easily spend half a day in the park if not more.
Gorgeous place.
We only walked a little bit into the park, but you could tell it was a place of refuge and solace for New Yorkers. People were having picnics and enjoying the greenery of the park.
There's a subway stop right at the edge of the park, too, so if you're coming on the train, there's little walking to get there from the stop.
Amazing for walking, running, enjoying the day. So much to explore so I definitely recommend poking your head into all of the nooks and crannies. Everything from waterfalls to wooded trails to sculptures.
A beautiful place to walk and walk around... Many interesting alleys. Beautiful greenery and amazing atmosphere. You can meet amazing musicians and relax with their music. Amazing park.
Central Park never fails to provide a lovely time. Spent a beautiful November day with unseasonably warm weather here. So many people were out enjoying the day, picnicking, running, enjoying friends sitting on the rocks. A perfect place to spend an afternoon as a family, with friends, or a loved one. Looking forward to seeing the park over the holidays when it's lit for the season
A very large and beautiful well kept park in the middle of NYC. There are a lot of benches lining the path. I like that there is a nice wide path for walkers and joggers to share. There are lots of large trees and water spots to see. The cattle Belvedere has a great view from the top.
Incredible space in such a busy city. We were lucky and had a sunny day, followed by a snowy one. Really clean and well maintained. We even saw the park rangers/ police on horseback, which makes it feel very safe too.
This was my third time in NYC and each time I've visited Central park and spent at least a couple of hours in it.
I've visited it first time in soaring summer heat with +30'C, 5 years ago in January covered with snow and minus temperatures and this May on a cloudy and rainy day...and each time I've enjoyed it.
It's one of the best free NYC attractions and a must visit for any visitor.
If a tourist and jet legged, just start your journey to the park as soon as possible tho it's fascinating both at 8am (for some fresh air and quietness) and 12pm (the hottest and busiest time) with loads of checkpoint from north to south. It's a journey full of magic where the time stops and your only intent is to cover most of the straight paths. Castels and bridges, fountains and statues awaits you
Beautiful park with sprawling paths and a ton of awesome people watching. Seems big enough to get lost a couple times over. If I ever make it back to NYC, I’ll traverse it again. Despite the rain, there was enough tree coverage to keep us relatively dry. Amazing.
Amazing park, definitely a must visit when in NYC. You could spend a whole day in there. Lakes offer rowing boats to enjoy the skyline from a different view, although the lakes are radioactive green. Probably how the teenage mutant ninja turtles were made. Make sure you bring a bottle when it's hot there is water fountains about, or you could spend $4 on some water - live your life. Lots of great spot to chill, listen to music, read a book, listen to the buskers, watch turtles.
Beautiful, long, large, spacious, clean air, beautiful lake reflections, neat history....a great way to get some exercise and enjoy nature and get back in-touch with nature or yourself. The sunsets look so nice through the trees and the lakes was pristine and quiet. Very nice to walk around and say hello to passers by or chipmunks rooting around for foods🤩 ..
Best park in the whole world. You can spend weeks here and every time you walk through you can find something new. Love grabbing breakfast and coffee and taking a walk although they are going to close down the resteraunt. Love people watching and love watching the natural beauty in the middle of the huge city.
Very nostalgic as this is were one of my favourite childhood movies Home Alone 2 was filmed. The bridge, plaza hotel etc. Its almost like a world away from the hustle and bustle of the streets, very nice location with its own zoo etc, and withing walking distance of quite a few worthwhile locations. A must in NYC.
Stunning park with lots going on. It's worthwhile taking some mode of transport other than on foot to get around and see things a bit quicker. It's so full of history.
It's worth noting that there are 21 restrooms throughout the park so you shouldn't get caught out
I am surprised why Central Park doesn’t get highlighted when talking about New York. It is an incredible place if you love nature. You can go for nature walk, spending a picnic day or just to be close to nature. It is huge and please don’t think or compare this with other parks in centre of big cities around the world. It is unlike every other nature parks found in cities around the world. Trust me, if you visit Central Park, you will not be disappointed.
It's one of the best parks I have ever visited. You can spend hours and days there, and every time you go there, it will be a new experience. It's a huge park, and one cannot see the entire Park in one day. It's a good place for family picnics, for cycling and just for a walk too. It will also refresh your memory of famous tv-series and movies as it's one of the popular locations to shoot. If you are in New York, then this place is a must-visit.
This park is beautiful! It is definitely a jewel. The kids found all kinds of play areas, rocks to climb on and statues to look at.
We spent hours here and barely saw anything. It would take days to see everything.
One of the most beautiful attractions in NYC. Spread on nearly 834 acres of greenery, trees, rocks, ponds, tunnels, carousel, cycling tracks, picnic spots...the list is endless. An attraction is the strawberry fields. A leisurely must visit in the city.
Such a great and diverse park. Not only is a a big green space, it has things to do for everyone who lives and visits there.
While other places like LA have easy access to great beaches and mountains, Manhattan is limited, but this space makes you feel outside of the city. It's own place.
Very scenic and definitely worth a visit. Other metropolitan cities need this. LA has grand park, but that pails in comparison to this place.
We took the carriage and was fun 🤩 got to sightseeing it was foggy 🌫️ but no rain. Safe. People jogging. Awesome Park. Miss coming when is green but anytime of the year is an amazing PARK. …
Park is fantastic. Incredible to have such a naturally beautiful spot in the middle of a vast mass of skyscrapers. Lovely to go in summer when the kids can play in the splash area.
Great place to visit with the kids. Highly recommend hiring a person in the electric bikes to take you on a tour of the park if you haven't been. Plenty of things to see and do.
There is a zoo there that takes about an hour to go through. Good to do the zoo on a travel day if you need book a train in the afternoon, hit the zoo in the am.
What a nice stroll through Central Park! It started snowing as walking through. So to see and do. Lots of people out walking, running, just enjoying life and spending time with family! Cant wait to visit again.
You can rent a bike, take a carriage ride or a peddle bike ride.
It's always fun to visit Central Park. We visited last Sunday, and it was amazing. There were autumn colors almost every where. So many spots to take photos. Energy and vibe is amazing. We also visited Central Park Zoo and it was good. You might need more than one day, if it's your first time. Don't be overwhelmed, you can always see more on Day 2. Must to see if in Manhattan.
This park is comply amazing. It has everything you could imagine and is literally never ending. I walked for hours and I didn’t get to know more than a quarter of the whole park. It has ducks and squirrels, ponds an museums. Avoid the food around the park since it’s a tourist trap. It’s a great place to take pictures!
Central Park is like a forest in the city. Park is very well maintained and you need a day to enjoy. Perfect place to cool down with kids. Skyscraper views from the park are amazing and specially the grand plaza hotel. Lot of good memories from Home Alone movie.
Central Park was a beautiful experience, every time I go, I see different points of use. The first time I went there, I saw people playing soccer, running, and just hanging out with friends. It was a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone.
I would definitely recommend Central Park to anyone looking for a great place to take a walk, have a picnic, or just relax. There is something for everyone in this massive park, and it is definitely worth a visit! Whether you stroll through the park on foot, rent a bicycle or scooter, or take a horse and buggy ride, you’re sure to have a great time!
Enjoy,
Dennis Schleicher

We spent much of our anniversary in the park, lovely. So cool having this huge green area in the middle of the concrete jungle. I'd love to come back in the spring when it's not as cold. I was surprised that the trees still had leaves but glad to see so much greenery.
The most amazing park in the world! So big and so many things to do and to see. My favourite things were the Imagine Mosaic (as a huge John Lennon and The Beatles fan ❤️) and the Bethesda Fountain.
The best park to visit, and the biggest one in NYC. It has big walking and running trails, roads going through it, structures, elevators to subways and also entrances to botanical gardens and museums branching off the roads. It's super dog-friendly, has see-saws, spinning seats etc. equipped kid playgrounds, abundant picnic spots and a lot of good-condition public restrooms. Would definitely recommend paying it a visit as an NYC attraction.
Central Park in New York City is a true gem in the heart of the city. The park is incredibly clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasure to walk around and explore. The nature in the park is simply amazing, with lush greenery, beautiful flowers, and a wide variety of wildlife. One of the highlights of visiting Central Park is the breathtaking sunset views of the surrounding skyscrapers. The contrast of the natural beauty of the park with the towering man-made structures is truly mesmerizing. Whether you're looking for a peaceful stroll, a picnic spot or a place to enjoy outdoor activities, Central Park is perfect for all. It's a must-visit destination for anyone visiting New York City, a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in nature.
This park goes on for miles and it's worth walking around the whole thing if you get the chance or time.
It's beautiful in different ways thought-out the seasons and it's open to all who want to explore it.
You'll see many iconic pieces and sceneries that you've seen in all the media content out there.
It's one of the best edition to NYC and definitely worth the visit in person.
We loved it! We walked and explored, then took a carriage ride through the park. We were introduced to Alfredo, our horse! It was so sweet and the tour was perfect. Highly recommend.
From my whole time in NY this park was the best experience ever. As the time Square was over crowded traffic is bumper to bumper. So a stroll at the park was a fun place to be in. There's music sculpture to see enjoy some zzz under a tree very relaxing.
The legendary Central Park is a universe too big for a review. The tourists who won’t dismount their bikes? The couples laying in the sun? The horses clomping along like in a Victorian backdrop? The slow sigh of the tall trees waving over a thousand different ordinary New Yorkers sitting on benches taking a break from the sirens and stains?
There’s a million different things to do depending on the time and season, but anyone whose been to the park more than once knows its beauty resides in the spots you make your own. Almost without you realizing it, it’s the little places you rest and talk and wait that sink into your memory, and come alive again every time you return, like prompts to old times. You can almost still hear the voices of friends who used to stroll there with you.
Why? Because the park creates a magnificent setting for your life and thoughts, as if your life becomes a movie, and the scenes you walk become shimmering memories. It’s a stage for ordinary magic: no matter how cliche, or surreal, or touristy, or grandiose, or melodramatic, the park’s paths, nooks, and crannies manage to make you feel like it’s somehow yours.
On some days you can walk and walk and almost forgive the rest of the city for being so unforgiving so often to so many.
Huge. Absolutely massive. My top takeaways: the people are so wonderful and respectful of others and other dogs. Even the off leash dogs were well trained and I did not see one incident or person upset. The variety of stuff in the park is amazing. Paths, hills, monuments, art, water features, attractions, rides, carriages, FOOD, BATHROOMS, just perfect. And finally , holy COW is it clean. I mean *clean*. I didn't see any trash, the grass was perfectly coiffed. None of the trash cans were overflowing, *everyone* picked up after their dogs. I am obsessed. Please teach my state.
The most breathtaking and awe inspiring place you will ever visit. It’s no wonder why everyone dreams of moving here. This place is just incredible and you gotta experience it!
Wonderful park to walk and explore or picnic. Dog friendly too. Such a beautiful green space in this fabulous city. We enjoyed it almost everyday of our stay in NYC
Everything you've heard is true: huge, lush, very populated when we were there, so I felt safe. It is a great place for running. There are large lakes and the whole panorama is just beautiful. I loved it.
This park of 4km long is amazing, it is very well maintained and clean, it has a big variety of trees and flowers, several ponds, lakes, baseball field and the great Metropolitan Museum is also inside.
You can go through it either walking, renting a bike (preferable) or in a carriage.
In the mid west side of the park you can find the Imagine mosaic, crossing from the Dakota building.
It is very nice for walking, having a picnic, running..
Large green space available in the heart of Manhattan. Horse and carriage rides as well as rickshaw rides are available throughout the park. Lots of different walking and biking trails can be found as well. Vendors can be found along one of the southern paths selling unique artwork and souvenirs. Limited bathrooms throughout the park, but easily accessible to the street.
This park is really huge and very beautiful at night. Perfect place for a morning run or evening walk. One can always sit here after sunset to enjoy a great cup of coffee. It's in central Manhattan and a lot of subway stations and bus stops nearby.
A peace of tranquility in the middle of a city of rush rush rush. The park is huge and goes on and on. There are a whole variety of things going on in the park from dance, to picnics to people taking picnics. There are a number of places where you can go to eat or get drink....
You can enter the park from a dozen plus different places..... there are running and cycling paths all across the park.
Really did enjoy out time in the park.. though it was a rush.
I believe one of the sites was where a scene in John wick was filmed.
Give your time to enjoy it fully
Take a ride on a horse carriage or a stroll around the park. There is nothing that can go amiss in Central Park. This is my first time to the park so I could explore the tip of the iceberg. Will definitely need to revisit NYC to get visit here over and over again to explore the area.
A sanctuary in the middle of the bustling city. Something for everyone to do - walking, running, biking, skating, boating, picnicking, carousel, horse carriage and pedicab rides. It is breathtaking in every season.
This is a haven and a happy place for my dog as well. Off leash hours are before 9AM and after 9PM.
There are always joggers and cyclists on the main path. The big loop is 10K though you can veer off on the many small paths on foot to explore the different sceneries. The hill on the upper west corner can be quite a challenge to run/bike but very satisfying once conquered.
I can’t even begin to describe how absolutely beautiful this place is! As a first time visitor of New York City this was a must see. Great for a nice scenic walk, a sit down to read and relax, an active walk or run or even cycle. There’s a good amount of the park to cover, there is even a zoo located inside the park! I arrived later in the day so I didn’t get to see any of the animals but I did happen to catch a sleeping seal on my walk. Lots to see and discover and so many beautiful picture opportunities. If you are in need of some fresh air, and a bit of a change of scene from the city this place won’t disappoint!
I’ve been here so many times and even in a cold weather you can enjoy it!
You can take a loooong walk and see all the statues, places, birds, squirrels and beautiful dog breeds around this huge park! 💜
If you want a quiet date you should go there and if you want something fun definitely you need to go on summer with friends and family! 💜
We rode bikes here and did the horse carriage thing. We love New York and Central Park so much. This place has museums here also, and during the Fall it's so nice looking. Will check that out next time.
Superb park in the center of manatthan, full of things to do, there is a zoo, you can rent bikes, there are wonderful lakes or rivers to photograph, in short, a beautiful experience. You can also spend the whole day inside, it is so big that you get lost inside. You can play sports, go for a walk, eat, have a picnic, relax and have fun.
This is an amazing place for multiple purpose: a walk, outdoor exercises, playing, spending family time. I had the opportunity to visit from Miami and play snow during spring break. I also visited this park during summer, falls, winter. It is really beautiful anytime. I do really enjoy the view from the highs.
Huge park! Right in the heart of Manhattan … breathtaking views, great for photography and sightseeing. There should be more washroom points added in my opinion but otherwise the park is really clean and lives up to the hype.
Get ready to walk, but a pizza pretzel and enjoy NY!
Central park is amazing. In one corner people are having picnics, a cyclist is zooming around, people take engagement photos, kids play, it's truly a micro New York. The views of the building from within the park are surreal. It's worth a bike rental so you can enjoy all the hidden Easter eggs around the park. There is an Alice in wonderland statue, a John Lennon memorial, a castle, ponds, and even waterfalls.
The Central Park is really a "green" precious gem in the middle of the hustle-bustle NYC - a beautiful, serene, clean and fresh place to refresh yourself from the busy city. This park is so large that it may take you a day to really wander around and visit all the sites inside it. You can choose to rent a bike in a rental shop nearby the park which costs around $8-$10/hour. They also provide horse-carriage service at the entrance (quite touristic), but the cost is high. For the locals, they love going for picnic inside the park and they also organize a lot of events, concerts and shows in the park. All in all, it's really a must-go if you're visiting NYC or even to a New Yorker.
Central Park is such a great place! It is a quiet, peaceful, clean, safe area in the middle of one of the busiest cities in the United States. It is such a nice break from reality. Spending time at Central Park calms and refreshes. We rented bikes and rode around the whole park -
It was so much fun! The bikes were a decent price and the seats were comfortable. There were several different really fun playgrounds for kids. It was such a friendly atmosphere and there were lots of well-behaved dogs which made me happy. I absolutely love Central Park! It is my favorite place in New York City and I feel like I could spend forever there - it is just so nice!
Love it. Any time of year is a great time to visit. The trees make you feel you are away somewhere and then you look beyond them and see the city. Plenty of space for people most of the time but can get super crowded which makes running here hard at times. Enjoy it when you do go, especially in the fall with the trees.
Looks so beautiful! Wish I had got time to explore the whole thing because it is huge! Bikers, runners, people relaxing on the grass, etc. It was crowded, but there was still plenty of room for people. Baseball field and so much more here!
This park is incredible. The vastness doesn’t set in unless you truly immerse yourself in it and get lost walking around.
It is packed with tons of people but there is plenty of space to feel secluded as well.
Subway conveniently located right next to the park for ease of access. Park filled with families, people enjoying the shade from the heated summer sun, and people playing instruments. Definitely relaxing from the busy life if the city.
My favorite place in NYC, dog friendly so you’ll meet a lot of cute doggies on the park.
Surrounded by greenery and lake views it’s a calm and beautiful nature escape in the heart on New York City.
Great for jogging and a workout.
Way more wonderful then I ever expected it to be. So many trails and open areas, so much water and castles and old buildings. Enough room that it does not seem crowded. Must see place
One of the staples to see in New York.
Has sooo much to see and very active feeling once your inside walking and exploring.
Really does make you feel like you are in the heart of New York.
As solo traveller felt safe while walking around and so many friendly people around.
I'm always in awe of Central Park. In the middle of New York City, a place where they use every inch of available space, it is so inspiring to see this much land dedicated to nature. You'll find street performers next to squirrels, locals on their morning run next to tourists on their history tours. Everything collides in Central Park in the best way. This is a space for everyone that is used by everyone. You can find a lively section with events and activities or a quiet nook to read your book. Make sure to stop by and take in the scenery.
A must do when visiting New York. Very clean and lots to do. Can rent bikes or horse and carriage rides. Had fun recognizing different movie locations throughout the park.
Right between the busy city you have this amazing peaceful park that you can walk across and just get an escape from city noises and traffic. I love the city and the people but Central park just adds another dimension to the city. It is green, open and peaceful. However there are things that pull it down: the city needs to invest resources into cleaning up the lakes in the park, there is lack of security (homeless folks around), and lack of natural navigation (you need maps open if you want to navigate around). Still a great spot for a stroll/jog/run/bike when done for the day from work.
A beautiful piece of greenery in a concert jungle. It was a joy to walk through this area even during the winter.
I've been to New York a few times and love Central Park, it acts as a landmark for navigation but also as an attraction and destination. The place is always lively but well spaced.
It also provides a great setting for sports and playing with kids and or pets.
Absolutely beautiful and a must see if you visit NYC! We've taken a Central Park tour twice. Once, while it lightly snowed in January of 2018 & on my birthday in March 2022. My son, my nephew who lives in NYC and myself also went to the ice skating rink located in Central Park at night. A cold front came in, so it was bone chilling but we all had so much fun! Looking forward to going back in the Fall time!
I always enjoy myself when I go to Central Park. We ended at 59th St. and we walked to 91st. We make sure to go by the meadow which unfortunately was closed and we paid our respects to John Lennon at the imagine circle and we took some lovely pictures at the reservoir.
We also saw nature in action when a falcon hunted and ate a pigeon.
Stunning park! A great place to go unwind from such a crowded and fast-paced city. It’s beautifully surrounded by NY’s skyscrapers which makes it seem almost like an oasis in the middle of the stress of the city.
It’s a great place for all kinds of exercise, for a picnic with friends or to just take a chill walk. It’s so big that I find new spots every time I go. It’s also good to hide away from the summer heat.
A huge park, never imagined it this big. On weekends it's over-crowded. Try taking a walk through small tracks. Less crowded. There is have huge restrooms. A must visit.
Many dogs all over the place. Which is good, but a small dog might get overwhelmed, especially because many play music and sing there... a bit noisy..
There are quiet nice areas for picnics if you're lucky with the weather.
Must go experience. Lots of different things to do. We ebiked around taking 2.5 hours with stops and leisurely. Then explored some on foot.
Canadian tip, go see the block house the last surviving fort defending NY from Canadian attack in War 1812
So much to see. It's worth the money to take the little rickshaw to her be sure to get a good tour guide. Without the tour guide you will miss a lot and not necessarily know what you're seeing. We had Helen and she was outstanding.
A much bigger park than I expected. Legitimately one of the best places in New York City, and definitely one of the best parks I’ve been to. Amazing scenery, and the culture there is amazing as well. I haven’t walked the full length of the park, but I will when I can. Thank you NYC for this amazing park!
Such a beautiful site to see! This is definitely a must see for tourists. The park is beautiful, and even though we didn’t walk down the entire park, we were fascinated at the scenery just in the beginning of the park. We definitely would have loved to check out the zoo as well if we had more time!
By far one of the places to go to see in NYC, the atmosphere is very relaxing, the atmosphere is great. In my particular case, I have visited it in summer and now in winter in both cases the park has a magical and special vibe, although in winter it is not all green, the environment and a feeling of peace remain, you definitely have to go
Central Park is where the world slows down in New York. The hustle and bustle of the city is heard as if it's miles away or in some places not at all. There is peace and energy all at once and it really allows for your mind to be at ease and take in the what's around. If you are just exploring be sure to take good shoes because there is so much to see or you can also rent a bike to help you get around.
Central Park is an amazing public space within New York City. It is an absolute must see on any tourist destination list, and is full to the brim with things to do. There is a wonderful running track that is approximately 9.8km a lap that perimeters the park's main spaces. However you could easily run 15 to 20kms on the interior paths without doubling back on yourself. There is plenty to do here outside of fitness, with amazing playgrounds and picnic areas, Street vendors, horse drawn carriage rides, bicycle hire etc. I cannot recommend a visit Highly enough ❤️❤️❤️
St. Patrick's Cathedral is just awe-inspiring with its beauty and history. Gorgeous Inside, outside as well as very historical. Definitely a place in New York you will want to visit. The lady in the gift shop was also very nice and helpful with our tour. Thank you, very much!!
Central Park is one of the most iconic and beloved destinations in New York City, and for good reason. This massive urban park spans over 843 acres and is located in the heart of Manhattan. It provides a much-needed respite from the bustling city and offers a peaceful escape for both locals and tourists alike.
One of the best things about Central Park is the variety of experiences it offers. Whether you want to go for a peaceful walk, have a picnic, or participate in outdoor activities like biking, boating, or horseback riding, you can do it all here. The park is also home to several lakes, ponds, and water features that provide scenic views and serve as a habitat for wildlife.
In addition to its natural beauty, Central Park is also home to several cultural institutions and attractions. The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History both have facilities in the park, and there are numerous monuments, sculptures, and fountains to explore. One of the most famous landmarks in Central Park is the Bethesda Fountain, which is located in the middle of the Bethesda Terrace and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The park is also home to several popular events and festivals throughout the year, including Shakespeare in the Park, the SummerStage concert series, and the New York City Marathon. During the winter, the Wollman Rink offers ice skating opportunities and stunning views of the city skyline.
Overall, Central Park is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting New York City. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this iconic park offers something for everyone and provides a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

central park is my favorite place in Manhattan. stunningly fresh air, lots of beautiful flowers, plants, a variety of trees, there are even several varieties of lilac, in spring this park is as beautiful as possible. the ponds are amazing. orange fish and turtles live in the ponds . thank you that this wonderful place exists
💙💜💚❤️💛🖤💚💙💜💛❤️💙🖤💚💜💛
Another essential component to New York, Central Park is THE place for getting away to a garden in the concrete jungle. Central Park is very beautiful and a must see landmark of the City. We thoroughly enjoyed our fleeting stop over here and are really excited to visit again, staying longer and doing it more justice. It’s the perfect place to unwind, jog, soak in the sun and relax. It’s generally populated but not claustrophobically so (at least when we went on a late Saturday morning) and it’s highly recommended for tourists to take in parts of the City that are completely different and still exciting. Enjoy!
Simply beautiful. Did you know there’s a statue dedicated to Romeo and Juliet in Central Park in New York? And that there’s a theatre performing Shakespeare? How about that there’s a puppet theatre located in the Swedish log house? If you’re looking what you do with kids in New York a puppetry afternoon is a great solution.
This review may be lame for local residents but hope it helps tourists. Very impressive and huge park in the heart of Manhattan. Just amazing how much area of Manhattan has been reserved for the park. It’s well maintained and there’s a lot to do. If you’re a tourist visiting Central Park, definitely recommend setting aside a whole day. Walk alongside the reservoir, play areas for kids, pet friendly. Definitely reminds us of numerous movie scenes shot here
Central Park is the NYC big lungs. In the summer, many green colors, in autumn 🍂, the best color mixes, and winter ultra white.
Excellent for bikers and walkers. If you want to rest and relax, just sit under any of the many trees that surround you. Many bike rental shops; they do many tours in central park all day. Central Park has the best views for the best pics. The Bethesda Terrace & Fountain is a great place to take great pics. Many movies was film in that fountain: Elf, Enchanted, Home Alone 2, Ramson, Angels In America, Law & Order, The Avengers, Stuart Little 2, Mr. Deeds, etc. In Central Park you can view the building "Dakota Apartments", (A Building with enough story) John Lennon lived in it.
You will need more than 1 day to explore all Central Park.
Beautiful park year round. I love to visit during the different seasons but my favorite is definitely fall. It's always a relaxing to get lost in nature.
Beautiful, huge, so pleasant to walk around have a sit enjoyed nature. And all this little squirrels 🐿️ everywhere it's so cute. I loved it …
When you visit New York City you obviously have to come to Central Park. It’s iconic and it’s so much fun to experience. Beautiful New York City views throughout the park that are breathtaking. This place is magical. The bridges and tunnels scattered throughout are so scenic. Lovely place to take a horse drawn carriage ride through, we did that on Christmas Day and I couldn’t recommend that more. Definitely put this Park on your bucket list. Follow me on YouTube search Sarah Braxton :)
It's has a very huge area with very good connectivity of the metro. Various activities are there with an entry fee. There is a skating rink, boating, fountain point, children's zoo, a theatre...etc. it becomes very colourful and pleasent during spring. Many spots for photography are there. Horse carriages are available at the entrance for those who want to take a ride or can't walk the whole area. Children would love it too.
It's such a nice park to visit. We go for a picnic here. There are lots of big trees and shade. The air is nice. The are many areas to explore. There are a lot of activities you can do here such as walking, running, biking etc. The park is nice and clean.
I always enjoy Central Park and all the beauty there is to be had. It's an amazing place to go on a hot summer day to escape the heat of the city, and you can easily spend a whole day here just meandering and soaking it all in. I thoroughly enjoyed an autumn stroll and am sure winter or springtime would present some amazing scenery and experiences as well.
There are horse drawn carriage rides, pedicab tours, bicycle rentals and of course you can just walk.
My favorite part is enjoying a meal from a street vendor while enjoying the shade on a park bench. The sights combined with the rich aromatic flavors of the food will leave an everlasting memory of this bustling metropolis from a relaxed venue!
I see Central Park as a a place where you can find inspiration no matter the time of the year. I’ve visited it twice and every time is a whole different story. It’s such a beautiful experience to give yourself a break from the city without having to leave it. Every corner of this park tells you a different story, and I find this experience amazing and unique. Hope everyone gets the chance to be there at least once in a lifetime.
Great place in the middle of NYC. This was a destination place for us. We took a bike rickshaw tour, with Abdul and his was fantastic. The diversity of landscape and features in the park is quite surprising and breathtaking. We loved the place.
Went for a walk around the park...great day for it. We saw many wonderful things. Had a great time and enjoyed time there and want to spend some more time there on this trip.
Central Park is an urban park in New York City located between the Upper West and Upper East Sides of Manhattan. It is the fifth-largest park in the city, covering 843 acres (341 ha). It is the most visited urban park in the United States, with an estimated 42 million visitors annually as of 2016, and is the most filmed location in the world.
Definitively my favourite place in NY (and not only!). Beautiful place, lots of green, and it's huge - you can spend hours there just walking and walking. Lots of magical spots and places to sit and just relax.
Central Park always brings back memories of watching Home Alone 2 as a kid! There have been so many movies filmed in Central Park. You do have to be careful of certain parts of the park. It is beautiful to walk through during the fall when all the leaves are changing. There is no fee to enter the park.
There's a reason this park has become so well known. This is a must to visit if you are in NYC. Its hard to envision how large the park actually is until you start walking the grounds. There is ample shade in the summer underneath all the trees, and a number of activities to participate in, including horse-drawn carriage rides, a roller rink, a zoo, playgrounds, etc. There were a number of people walking around, picnicking, reading, playing around on the natural rock formations, and overall enjoying nature right in the heart of Manhattan. You could walk through when heading to places like the MET and the Natural History Museum, or spend an entire day in the park. You are able to get some pretty cool views of the city right from the park as well.
An iconic landmark of NYC. Huge open park to explore and hang around. There is not much to it, but it is a breath of fresh air to come to relax or meditate. I came here to take pictures of birds and found lots of them!
We went here in November 22.
The trees were beautiful showing their autumnal colours and although we only spent a short time here, it was truly beautiful.
I only wish we would have had the whole day to explore.
The pandemic allowed me to fall back in love with the amazing Central Park. As my playground for the past 18 years, there are so many things I could say about it. The often visited South portion is filled with iconic locations often seen in TV and film. The North is surprisingly beautiful, quiet and decorated with quite a few hidden waterfalls. Don't skip either side; take your time; and don't be afraid to venture off the path. Have fun. (Note: pics are obviously not current and taken from the past couple years.)
Enjoyed the park. Loved watching people skate/fall at the Disco Oasis.
They keep it clean. Bathrooms are decent and have tissue. I was there after 12 and there were still people there. Seemed safe enough but still keep ya eyes open anyway.
This is one of the most beautiful urban parks! Even though there’s always good amount of people there, one can always find a quiet place to sit and relax. One of my most favorite places in the city!
Central Park is one of the main attractions in New York City. It is huge and it takes time to explore it, but it is worth of it.
There are restrooms, places to eat, the park is perfect to spend time with family, friends or as a couple. Great place to do picnic, to walk with dog, to run or to play games in the grass.
Totally reccommed to spend some time around.
Haven't been to "The Park" in years! It always amazes me how much you can see and do throughout the park! This time we rode on a rickshaw bike, which was very interesting, but fun. Taking pictures in tunnels, climbing various hills, and enjoy snow cones was absolute fun. Depending on where you exit, you'll be in a whole other hood to explore and try to remember how to get back to your hotel!
This place truly is a runner's paradise! Or a jogger's, or a walker's, or a stroller's,.. so many trails... some are paved, some are dirt, some are stone by the river. So many amazing views in the city, a small bodies of water, statues of historical figures, even a castle! I thank Jesus for the opportunity to go here.
One of the most well known parks in the world! Prime spot for people watching, walking, biking, or sitting on a bench. If the weather is nice and you need an escape from the city, this is the place to come.
This place was great. Full of life and interesting people. Walked over 10 miles and still haven't see the whole place. Definitely deserves a trip back.
Beautiful place in the middle of Manhattan! Quite big and wonderful for a walk / ride and some pictures with your belonged one, amazing scenery and view, does feel like you're in the nature!
Imagine the biggest city in the world and the noise and the people and sometimes the magic. Then imagine you stop and take a brake and then you are in the middle of nowhere, is quite, calm, relax and beautiful. But you are in the same city. That is what central park is to me. A peaceful huge place in the middle of one of the greatest cities in the world.
Glorious no matter what time of year you go . You must spend time here if you are visiting . A magical free experience right in the middle of the city . We are so lucky to use this as our backyard . Lots to do from carousels , to boat rides , to shopping , bike riding , picnicking , tours , lounging and eating just to name a FEW ! Can’t recommend it more . We love you Central Park .
It is a great park with a lots of attractive place to spend with your family. We went for a live concert and it was awesome. You can enjoy the nature and animals walking around the park. Love it!!!
I really love go central park in spring, my travel was two weeks ago and the weather to me was perfect (69) I saw beautiful magnolia’s trees every where also tulips, I saw a few cherry blossoms, we had a beautiful picnic there. 🫶 …
Central Park is one of the top places to visit in New York without doubt, however, if you happen to be there please I encourage you to be mindful and don't pay for the horse carriage tours, it really breaks my heart how these guys are making so much money and these poor animals are suffering on an environment that is not healthy for them. I mean, who wants to ride a horse in the middle of the park/city ALL DAY?
One of the highlights of the park is the Natural History Museum— kids will learn so much here, entrance is upon contribution. They have a price BUT it’s up to you how much you want to pay! (Read the pricing sign very carefully, and you will thank me later)
Overall, it’s a great place to be. Peaceful, beautiful and big so be ready to walk a lot or my humble suggestion rent a City Bike for $15 a day!
This park is centrally located in Manhattan.
If New Yorkers didn’t have this oasis of nature, then we would all be even more nutty.
It’s endless rolling field and forest trails makes you really feel like you’ve left the city.
Find a special part of the park and make it your own, just like New Yorkers have been doing for hundreds of years.
Cheers!
Wow, after seeing Central Park for the first time it is amazing!!! You could spend days in the park exploring, and with so many iconic locations from films and tv there is so much to see. We were there in November and to see the colours of the trees made it even more memorable. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of New York, and easily accessible. Would have loved more time to have seen it all
The park is maintained very nice. May iconic spots can be found so give yourself time to view all the things you want to see. My only complaint was the lack of bathrooms.
Great views. Surprisingly large. We did a carriage ride and a bike ride and enjoyed the bike ride more. Central Park was an amazing place to watch the world roll peacefully by.
If you're living in the big city nothing beats central Park in the spring. So much to see and do. It's just a beautiful break from the rest of the city. There is always something going on somewhere. People watching is gold in here too.
Take a bike and check it out!!!! What a gorgeous place! So relaxing and calming. I am really appreciating these places. I was with the love of my life. My wife. I want to go back
The central park lived up to expectations even in the dead of winter. This historically famous park boasts everything you could crave as a country person in the middle of a big city. The beautiful lake with large amounts of wild ducks to feed. There's horse and carriage rides through the park. There's a world famous and movie famous zoo to check out.
When we visited it was a cold and windy day in April. Would have liked to have seen more of the park, but was too chilly. The buds and blooms were beginning to show themselves which was lovely. ❤
Huge park with lots of green area, rock, water, musician play music around the park, spring is amazing to go and relax. Highly recommend! Beautiful, huge!! Arts exhibition in park too!!
Central Park is a must when visiting New York! So much to see and do. My fiancé and I rented a bike for $25 for two hours and we are so glad we did. We experienced so much more than we would have just walking around. Pet friendly and great for getting some exercise in!
Iconic must visit place in NYC! The park is huge and offers everything you expect - spots to sit and relax, possibly have a picnic, spectacular views, zoo, restaurants and of course, you will meet a couple of musicians and other artists. Plan to spend there a couple of hours there, this park definitely worth your time.
One of the place to visit in New York, very huge park right in the heart of Manhattan. Amazing views and places to visit inside this beautiful park. Enjoyed walking around and seeing the sites where some movies shoot the scenes.
Beautiful. So cool to have in the center of a large city. After watching movies I right the park looked the same throughout... and after visiting I realized everything is filmed in the literary walk/mall. I didn't expect all the nooks and cranies of little walking paths and waterfalls all over. It was so peaceful. The north side of the park, above the reservoir, was so empty of tourists compared to the south side. It was nice. More locals and families enjoying picnics on the 4th of July
Park of unique charm, a real green lung in the middle of the chaos of Manhattan. I experienced it as a tourist, also dedicating myself a couple of jogging in the beautiful streets of the park .. well unique emotion for me
Don’t ride a horse carriage if they want minimum 63$ per first 20 minutes and then 25 each 10 minutes. So total you will spend over 149$ and nobody will give you better price.
Nobody except one nice buy with his horse Jessica.
We had a great time this 45 minutes and enjoyed all spots from movies- over 100 movies shot in Central Park.
Get ready for squirrels get some nuts.
Go ice skating or just walk.
Beautiful place for a walk in the middle of the city.
Children friendly
Pet friendly
A good space for walk
Picturesque
There are so many friendly squirrels so please take some food for them As they come to you looking for something to eat
I went in December and weather was good
I love NY! I miss it and when I go back to visit I must visit Central Park. The atmosphere is always nostalgic and brings and creates find memories. My heart ❤️ is always there. So much to see and explore.
One of the best attractions New York has to offer. You'll find impressive museums and numerous restaurants of all kinds on either side. Amazing spot for NYE fireworks, or just grabbing a bagel or sandwich and eating in the park. Cyclist, runner, children and dog friendly, featuring a lake, pond and reservoir.
Nice walking around. I wish I have more time to enjoy the view and atmosphere there. The weather was nice. Recommend to bring food and drink for picnic with yourself or friends.
Quiet an amazing experience. Going from a busy street to a park that feels like you are in the middle of nowhwre was awesome. Clean and well cared for. Was very impressed.
I'll continue to say this, and this is when I go years between coming here. The parks committee is hands down the best of any parks I visit. They are around, and seem at all hours making sure that it looks fantastic. Is like to say that I wish visitors would do a part, but due to the fact they don't, the parks crew always knocks it out of the park always(literally and figuratively).
This trip we discovered some many new gems in the park. The Hamlet Sanctuary and the rambler both places that you could walk and not see people which was a delight on a Saturday! The volunteers stationed throughout the park are so helpful-ask them for directions or ideas of what to visit. Most seasonal food vendors are open as is the zoo and roller skating rink. The sitdown restaurants were very busy. The park was clean and just plain fun!
Amazing place; Oasis just around the corner… right next to dynamic and hectic bustle of the city. Perfect to grab a Starbucks coffee and take few minutes for you here.
A fantastic park that is so huge you can't even hear the noise of the city! Yes - I'm from a small town, can you tell? Absolutely loved exploring, including the Belvedere Castle, The Ramble, Bethesda Terrace, The Mall, and visiting the Balto statue.
One can walk and walk and walk. Stop at the other end and walk back again. NYC experience isn't complete without walking around Central Park. There are so many pretty corners which one can explore. The best season could be spring or before fall.
We walked around for a few hours when we first got into town. I really enjoyed the variety of attractions, including the Hans Christian Andersen and Alice in Wonderland statues, the Imagine area dedicated to John Lennon, the Belvedere Castle, and the obelisk. I would have loved to visit the zoo, seen a performance at the Delacorte Theater, rowed on the lake, and everything else we missed. It's more spectacular than I had expected it to be. You must go when you visit New York City.
The park has so many amazing zones, so drastically different and interesting. I love the long paths surrounded by huge trees and sculptures, seems so romantic. You can always find nice spots to seat and enjoy your picnic. Just lovely.
Had a very good day walking around the park. Lots to do and see. It’s very peaceful. Need more than one day to see it all. Definitely would come again next time in New York
First time visiting NYC and had a lovely time walking through Central Park.
Lots of sight seeing, lots of friendly pets as well as local food vendors.
Already plenty of reviews so I just wanted to contribute some nice photos I took.
We went to NYC on New Years and of course, spent lots of time in Time Square. I strongly regret not spending more time in Central Park, it’s huge and offers a lot. Next time I visit the city, I would do an extended weekend trip around the park and avoid Time Square.
It’s also neat to see lots of places where they filmed movies and shows.
This place is bigger than you could ever imagine. So much to see. We caught the subway to the top and spent a few hours wandering back. It's so beautiful in Fall.
Very large park in the middle of Manhattan. The leaves on the trees in Autumn produce a lovely mix of colors. The park is huge and you can spends days in the endless walkways. It’s great to have a quiet forest to relax in the bustling city.
There is an ice skating ring, a restaurant and food trucks selling snacks. There are several photo spots around the park of the surrounding buildings or squirrels!
I love walking around the lake. So peaceful and pretty. There's ducks that roam inside and around the lake and they also have fishing. There's bench seating all around the lake and nice grassy areas to relax, have a picnic or BBQ.
the best parks in New York and quite possibly one of the best parks that I've ever been to.
Central Park is not only big but it's also a park that has something for everyone. I've been in Central Park for biking, walking, hiking, or just simply exploring.🤩
It's a beautiful park with lots of activities and many scenic spots that are just simply breathtaking. Maybe that's why I always spot people taking wedding/engagement photos there...😍
Nice park, watch the leafs drop in peaceful amazing quietness. Beautiful buildings surrounding park. Nice clean green grass field to sit and watch time pass.
It's a beautiful space in the city and a real contrast to the chaos of the city. It'd be better if they did something to stop the cruelty of the horse carriage rides; they make the park smell but, much worse, it's awful to treat the animals that way.
This park is great for anyone wanting to get away from the city chaos and just relax looking at the scenery or ride in the old style carriages. It is super relaxing and let's you breathe so.e fresh air from the city's polllution
Always a favourite when visiting NYC. great place to take pics and enjoy the scenery on a nice sunny day. I enjoy the local talent and artists that showcase their incredible work. I try to never miss an opportunity to visit this magical place 🗽💙🌳 …
Beautiful area to hang out. Great for families, friends, everyone. Hot days are perfect for Heckscher Playground. Plus, it's just a short walk to the Dairy and the Carousel.
It's a huge and beautiful park to spend the afternoon - the mood and aesthetic of that place is very comforting and I totally recommend it to go with someone you enjoy spending time with.
A heads-up: it can be VERY windy and chilly during winter so don't forget to take an extra coat with you!
Spent two hours on bicycle looping the park. Stopped at several spots to take photos.
There is a steep hill so be prepared.
Check the weather before you go.
Definitely one of my favourite places in the world. A fantastic place with some many different facets to it.
Been here numerous times this week for just walks and too chill but also some runs including a full lap, nearly 10km of the perimeter.
For runners it is perfect as if you run the perimeter you have a dedicated lane which is plenty wide enough and so do bikes and cars which makes it super safe and easy to run around.
On a weekend you simply have to stop and watch some of the baseball going on as is great fun to watch sport at this level (ie more fun than professional!)
And of course if you are a dog lover, like me, they are everywhere and so many breeds to see as you wander about.
Escape from busy Manhattan. The park is well preserved with nature. Lots of leashed dogs and puppies. It's really a must visit for kids to enjoy nature in the city.
Central park is one of the most famous attractions in New York, it starts from 57th st, ends at around 100th I believe not sure, but its a huge park. There is zoo, bird century’s, museum, separate cycling track and side walk.
A lot of activities and concerts happen here, the global fest happened here. During summer this is the best place to hang out at. There are restaurants and also boating area where you can enjoy the scenic view of central park.
Its is amazing and refreshing, a place to hang out with family or friends! Picnic or birthday.
There are also places where you can do your wedding!!! It is beautiful during summer or winter anytime! Its pure beauty
It's been many many years since I've traveled around the park. It was a great time. We got electric bikes, which made the ride that much easier and fun. We traveled everywhere in the park in one day.
Huge, beautiful park with lots of great photo opportunities and famous sites. The rickshaw tours are great but make sure you know pricing BEFORE you take the ride.
Another New York must. Whether you're visiting for the first time or a seasoned New Yorker, Central Park is a nice place to walk, relax, run, or just people watch. The views in and from the park get better everytime we visit.
This place is huge. Lots of trees, grass, paths. It’s amazing to think about how this is in the middle of a sprawling cityscape that creeps through every so often. You can really get lost in nature here and it’s a welcome escape.
Most amazing park, historical one too in the middle of New York City. It would take more than two days to finish all the important places in the Central Park. Also its changes look in every season, so worthy to visit in different seasons to get all vibes. Specially in the fall color its looks so amazing. Always remains crowded being one of the most popular place in New York city. Thousand of people either sitting around or running, jogging, cycling everyday. Also lot of Tennis courts available to play. A must visit place in New York.
I've spent plenty of time in Birkenhead Park where this place took its design from and can say its just a bigger version. Can't see what they hype is its just a park with sectioned off areas for different things. Coffee shop in the middle with some nice photo spots. Loads people running and cycling and dog walking - its OK place.
Zoo its small although didn't visit looked too small for anything decent
I’m envious! Such a great place to enjoy outdoor activities and environment in a big city. So much going on. Enjoyed the artists and watching the world go by!
Heart of the NYC. I love going here all the time. Just chilling under the trees and do picnics or laying down or reading books. As a lot of people tend to bicycling. It’s just simply an awesome experience. You will see something diff everytime you go back to visit.
I absolutely adore this place. I've heard terror stories of other physical therapy offices. But this deserves 6stars. Techs amazing. Dr Goldberg and other doctors phenomenal rapport and knowledgeable. The front desk is so pleasant. They seal deal for me to come back. Galina the Priscilla's all outstanding.
I'm daydreaming about building a tiny house there, lol. Beautiful scenery, very clean and calm. (I loved the Alice statue and how my mask and it were looking at each other. True through the looking glass vibes). The entire park looks just like the movies!
My first visit and what an amazing place in the middle of a huge city. Amazing beauty, diversity of plants, water features, and park uses. Suggestion - bring toilet paper. Walked from corner to corner with several areas being updated. Enjoyed how walkers and bikes were kept apart. Great views of skylines. Food carts at the corners were pricey but good and fast. Lots of horse/pedicab options and rental bikes available. Many subway options nearby, especially the south west corner.
Amazingly beautiful, peaceful and tranquil place.. Take a stroll on a tricycle with Edward, who’s knowledge about history of the park and its unusual inhabitants is striking. Have your breakfast at Sarabeth coffee shop/restaurant nearby , or just sit on a banch with someones beloved dedication on its side- and listen to plenty of the musicians there.
It’s simply such a treat to your soul.. definitely would love to go back there anytime!!!
Clean, but there were a lot of areas in construction and signaling for tourists are missing. It's BIG! A lot to see, it seems like a safe space to hang around with the family.
What an incredibly beautiful park this is. We only were able to see a portion of it because of how hot it was, but it was very nice. We checked out some of the home alone spots while at the south east corner of central park.
I feel like you could just ape s 2 days discovering this park, it's so massive.
I took off 1 star because of the lack of cleanliness. Being the cities biggest park and major destination for tourists and locals, I'd expect staff to have it very clean, and it unfortunately wasn't.
Nonetheless, I highly recommend it.
4/5.
Follow me for more reviews, photos and great tips.
Wonderful park, clean and very big. There are bicycle tracks through the whole park, so you can make a loop. A lot of squirrels are also here to find.
A wonderful green space in the heart of the very busy New York!! Some beautiful stops along the way that made our visit amazing!! Worth the time to go there!!
Central Park.
A destination truly out of this world. Found in the middle of a busy, bustling, brash Manhattan, Central Park is a treasure of a place that gives people a moment to breathe and be.
The moment you step through the entrance, you will feel a change in the air. It’s as if the park gives you permission to slow down, relax, and rest.
In addition to this, there are many hidden gems to discover within the park. The moment you THINK you’ve seen it all is the very moment that the treasures in the park are eagerly waiting for you to discover them.
I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to give the park a chance! Beyond just a tourist destination, Central Park is a place to find and enjoy treasures within!
Our tour through Central Park was awesome. It was a beautiful Fall day which made it even better. I've been to NY before but never have done a full tour. Totally worth it!
Definition of oasis. Set amidst the cars, construction, and chaos of the Big Apple is this urban gem. We enjoyed a bike tour on an autumn afternoon (best way to see and learn about the expansive property). E sure to take some time to just sit on a bench and take in the tranquility.
NGL, but it’s one of the best spot in NYC. Central park is just the heart of this concrete jungle, NYC!
Central park almost covers 1/3 of the whole Manhattan and it’s so big that I don’t think it’s possible to cover it by walking in a day.
Every corner of CP has something to offer and the face of this park changes on every season with a totally magnificent look.
Central park also has some beautiful restaurant and shops inside. You can take a horse cart ride inside the park. That’s also considered to be an iconic thing of NYC.
The Central Park is awesome! Is very big and you also can go there by a bike or a pedicab. I’ll like it very much. My favourite place is the memorial of John Lennon that is the form of a teardrop. Many places look familiar from movies or TV-Shows. In fact - it’s just an wonderful place. #johnlennonforever
Even though thousands of people come to Central Park every day, it is always fresh and wild. It is managed well. I am a fine artist, and I have made pastel studies this summer and fall
First time walking through Central Park and it pretty nice. We took pics with the Balto and Women's Rights statues which was pretty cool. They definitely have some amazing monuments there. Of course it doesn't come without the same issues as everywhere else in the city, overcrowding, homeless just trying to find a place to rest and reckless people. But overall we had a good time.
Absolutely beautiful. Too many places to see here so plan either for a lot of walking, or visit multiple times. Such an iconic place and definitely worth the visit.
Beautiful park. The Alice in Wonderland statue is a must see. It's a great photo opp. The Trees losing their fall leaves makes for a colorful landscape. The park is perfect for a peaceful walk alone, with loved ones including walking your fur baby. There's a variety of natures gifts such as a variety of trees, ponds, lakes, waterfalls, ducks, squirrels and more. The bridges and tunnels are a fantastic example of past craftsmanship an art that has been lost in modern structures. It's a beautiful sight as well. The park is a wonderful experience overall.
The park is enormous, beautiful and very well maintained. Definitely worth visiting.
It is such a peaceful location in the heart of the big apple and we relive many movie scenes in this famous iconic park. Love it !
The perfect getaway from busy Manhattan, it is a must to get to see some green after being surrounded by concrete blocks all day, always love coming here for long walks, to relax, for picnics, reading a book, and to just enjoy nature and observe the wildlife.
I don't know what I was expecting, but a very crowded park that was "bustling" as much as the city streets isn't much of a park in the sense of finding a bit of peace and tranquility. It's basically more of NYC, just with grass underfoot. Basically, a nice place to say you've visited, but I have no desire to return.
A very big area to cover (834 acers).
Just saw a part of it... Needs at least two to three days to see and enjoy... So many things like reservoir, pond, museum, boating etc... You can get chariots and cycles etc for sight seeing... But walking down the area is much better...
You cannot find a well maintained such a big area in the heart of the city....
Central Park? The most iconic city park in the world. To take a walk in any corner of this park in the autumn is as good as it gets. It’s simply too big to do in a day. Pick a quarter- the Met is the middle point. The many historical statues, ponds and monuments make for great photos. A visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art is a great way to begin. The many hot dog and donair vendors out front can top up your tank. The opposite side of the park is a Natural History Museum. Just uptown on Central Park East is the Guggenheim (“You saw the new addition to the Guggenheim? I did that…”). Vandalay Industries. Central Park is an east top 5 for both residents and New York tourists alike.
Big and green lawns. Beautiful view from everywhere. Closes at Dusk but it's beautiful to have a picnic there and let the children play.
Great place to visit and walk around. Plenty of people walking their dogs. People selling food and drinks and people playing instruments. Plenty of memorials all over the park. Horse and carriage rides offered as well.
We liked this park. It is very big and shade park. I like that everywhere you cam find water to drink, bathrooms. Also there are a lot of playground for children.
We visited the park in November and then again in January. It was nice seeing it with and without snow. Next on my list will be another visit back to NYC so we can see the park in the Spring next time!
Although we did not walk through the whole park - we enjoyed the parts we did walk through. Very busy with lots of people coming and going.
The touts for carriage rides or rickshaw rides were a little annoying however.
Did get chance to visit Central Park in the day time and at night it was hard to appreciate the beauty of this park. Will give a detail review once I visit It again. But I took few photos as it still looked beautiful.
Simply beautiful. So much to see and do in the park. I love that you can find yourself all alone in the middle of a city of millions of people!
Central is one park every visitor should see and visit. Walk around the park through all the trees and river and over the bridge or just sit at one of the benches and enjoy the birds feeding or just people watch.
If you watch a lot of movies, you know that Central Park is part of many movies. It takes you back in time of your favorite movies, whichever one it may be for you.
It’s a definite, yes, for recommendation to visit for sure .
A must see while in NY. I suggest taking the subway up to Harlem and starting from the north end of the park and walking all the way through to the south. It took us about two hours and we stopped to see several different places, sat and people watched for a bit. There is some amazing talent spread throughout the park, so many artists in art work, music, and skills. We were lucky enough to be there late October when the leaves were all changing colors and it was so beautiful! Google maps is wonderful to help guide you through the park even on the smallest dirt paths. There is something to be said about slowing down, strolling and just noticing the beauty God has blessed us with. Slow down and admire the silhouette from the buildings and the sunsets, but also turn around and notice the sky behind you when the sun sets, it's beautiful 😍
So beautiful seeing the leaves change and falling from the trees, the horse. It all looked straight out of a movie. We took a short carriage ride back to the entrance after walking a little.
Would love to go back.
We have a wonderful time exploring the park both day and night. During the day my son explored the glacier rocks and one of the playgrounds and we made use of the public restroom before heading out to the MoMA, and then that night we came back and enjoyed a very pleasant horse-drawn carriage ride from a 14yo former Amish farm horse named Susie
Absolutely beautiful at night!! We were there Christmas weekend and had a blast. Great views, quiet in some parts, romantic and tranquil.
Great and free. Lots to see and do in park everyone friendly. Be aware no all places are pram friendly and we had to lift them up. There is a castle and children's playground.
I read somewhere in Twitter where someone said central park should be one of the seven wonders of modern world. I absolutely think he is right. Right in the middle of Manhattan skylines, you get to experience nature and it it's beautiful. I would say central park is the number one attraction of New York.
Central Park is New York's crown jewel. I think it is with good reason. The park is huge. I went when it was cold so my pictures are of the frozen lake. There was lots of people sledding and little snowman in some places. People were walking. I even saw a lady on some skis. Either way go check it out. It's fun and free of course.
Gorgeous meandering park up against the city. A little sliver of nature, manicured, for a glimpse of what the original island might have been like. Flanked by skinny glass skyscrapers and older iconic New York building. The lady singing Elvis songs in the SW corner of the park is awesome.
I have a love/ hate relationship with NYC. But Central Park is one of the reasons I love living here.
A beautiful space to explore and enjoy nature, people, adventures and life!
In recent years I've spent more time exploring the park. And I still haven't experienced it in its entirety. There's so much to do.
Most recently I brought a friend here while she was visiting NYC with her children. They loved it!
We did a 30-minute private tour through the park and then ended up ice skating at Wollman Rink. It was my first time at this Rink and I absolutely loved it! And, to make it more special, we witnessed a proposal on the ice. She said "Yes!" How beautifu!
It's a super busy place, especially during holiday time. But so worth the visit.
I highly recommend New Yorkers take advantage of this gem of a place. And visitors, don't leave NYC without a trip to the iconic Central Park to experience it for yourself.
A very beautiful experience if you're a nature lover you will enjoy it. Great views! Is enormous so it can take a whole day to see the whole park and lots of walking
What a wonderful place of relaxation in the concrete jungle that NYC is. Even in late fall the scenery was breathtaking. The ponds and lakes are very pretty and the windy walkways are very romantic. There are trails off the asphalt streets if you want to immerge yourself deeper in the trees. The entire landscape design is outstanding and it offers interests all season. If I lived in Manhattan I'd probably spend a lot of time here. I wished there were more restrooms though and trash cans.
I love the contrast of the city and the park. The city takes the grid system where everything around the blocks take the ninety degree angles. The park on the other hand is full of bends and seemingly random crossings between the paths, letting visitors to really escape from the rigid city layout. I love it.
Amazing for night time outdoor activities. While it locates right inside the bright and busy city, there is a quiet place with full of big tree to walk under. You feel the fresh air to recharge after a busy working day. It’s totally a great effort to keep the park when a lots of buildings are built high around that extremely expensive area.
Central Park is beautiful!! There's so much to see and the walk is loong, I took a tour in a bicycle carriage which roughly lasted 40-45 minutes just to go a quarter of the way but had so many things to see. I wish I could have attempted to walk further but for this park you have to dedicate a long time as you walk and sightsee or rent a bike, take a horse carriage or like me get a bike ride tour from one of the many bikers.
Always nice coming here, lots of food stands, bicycles, and trails to walk on. Nice views, sometimes they have ice skating and things to do with kids. Big open lawns for sitting down to relax or have a picnic.
One of the most iconic places in NYC. Since Central Park is very large, visitors can plan ahead to select several areas (e.g., Bethesda terrace, the Lake, Strawberry field, the Castle) to plan for a walk or rent a bike to ride through the park. There are also multiple metro stations nearby the park, making it easy to connect to other places. Overall, a very nice park to walk around and hang out with family and friends.
Weather in summer spring fall or winter Central Park is the destination to go to the enjoy the fresh air see people around and observe the skyscrapers aligned with nature.
Attached are pictures during the winter beginning of February month of 2022
By morning is really nice and peaceful to have a walk or ride a bike at the park... It's just like in the movies 🤭❤️ I love it …
Place that I love the most in NYC . Entrance From 5Av and 63 Stnext to the Bicycle rental.. you will get beauty bridge views with small lakes . Grab your favorite book and chill.
Central Park is the best! So much to see and experience. Would highly recommend renting bicycles for 4 hours to see it all! You’ll never make it trying to walk and see everything!
I love Central Park, and when there take a row boat out, you wouldn't believe you're in New York! Walk around and visit the carousel, the fountain, zoo and many other attractions the park has to offer.
World class park. Needs no reviews. If you haven’t been, you must experience it. And it’s immense enough, you need hours and not minutes to take it in.
Such a busy park even on a Tuesday morning at 7am! There are so many runners and bikers and walkers so it’s not the most relaxing but it is amazing to have such a big park in the middle of a city. There is a running track at the bigger pond, so pretty!
Great space to explore. Lots of historic and interesting places to see and visit.
Fairly safe vs. what may have been seen in news reports or stories.
We took a horse carriage ride through the park with the driver pointing out the sights and special interest areas.
Very beautiful and well kept. We only got to see the southern corner to take pictures of Park Plaza from Gapstow Bridge, but it's very amazing how the Park is so massive, you quickly feel like you've stepped into a whole separate world.
The park is so huge that difficult for visitor to see all interesting point; the resting point also quite enough. But no cover area hence better go with a umbellar just in case (need to run quite far for cover area)
Went here for New Years Eve fireworks! Free entry and super fun. The fireworks lasted 20 minutes! Although, watch out for the midnight runners and random lines when you arrive.
Something for everyone. Plenty of photo opportunities! Can walk it, rent bikes and explore, do a carriage ride, grab a row boat, etc. Lake, waterfall, castle, fountain, statues, bridge, turtles, views, performers, benches, various public restrooms, and people watching galore.
A nice park and that's large has a lot of lakes and is unique in the way its surroundings by so many super tall towers that blend nature with the park. It's an oasis in the centre of a concrete jungle.
What a gorgeous park! It's literally an oasis in the middle of the city. It feels very safe...at least during the day. This is a must when in the city!
An amazing space in the heart of New York great place to sit and chill and people watch or if you're feeling energetic have a bike ride or a jog. Make time to visit the zoo it's only small and dosen't take long to get round.
I was attending a Public Services Course at college when a land of opportunity came to visit New York back in 2016.
It was an opportunity not to miss, once we landed, got a coach to the hostel we were staying at. It was walking distance from the nearest public transport and central park
The fist day we walked around New York to check out the area and look at the amazing architectures across New York.
We visited central park which by the way is 6 miles by 6 miles. It was huge. We walked around and visited central park zoo where we saw some wildlife. Such amazing creatures.
I took some pictures of the amazing views around New York. We visited such amazing places.
I do want to visit again sometime in the future.
Such a wonderful and peaceful environment.
At night you hear the Emergency services responding and the lights reflects off the building like it was a disco in the middle of the street.
Shout out to NYPD and NYFD for there hard work, dedication and determination to respond to calls in heavy traffic.
New York's most peaceful and beatiful recluse will make you relax while enjoying the scenery. With little ducks and fish in the lakes, people casually strolling, playing sports, rowing in boats or just jogging, public musical and drama performances and much more, Central Park is a must see. Enjoy museums (the MET or Guggenheim), lakes, lawns, forests, bridges, playgrounds, labyrinth paths and gorgeous overviews of the Skyscraper city. We were there every morning sipping coffee and munching on a bagle while watching squirrels run around the place, New York style!
Everytime I go to central park it's like going for the first time. There are places I never knew where there. On this last visit there I went to Belvedere castle and saw beautiful the central park turtle pond. It's a place in the city yet feels so far away from the city.
Just the fact that this park is about 850 acres in the heart of New York makes me feel go there. Thanks to All the wise people who made this happen. Be it a family picnic or relaxing weekend with scenic views of New York skyline. Definitely not a one day trip. I like walking however there are places at Colombia circle and up north at other entrance to rent bikes but evokes are only at Columbus circle entrance. Carry water and food if you are entering from up north.
Best park in the world for sure. There’s so much to do, you can see statues, rent a sail boat, just walk around and even go fishing in Harlem meer. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like that your in a big city.
Serene and relaxing place at the midst of all the hustle bustle. There are skating rinks? ( maybe only in winter ). It’s a nice place to decompress yourself and a must visit if you are visiting NY.
Walking in Central Park was a great way to end our day in NYC. To experience the art and culture within the beautiful back drop of the park was nostalgic and calming amongst the chaos of the city.
It brings a feeling of being in a move, with the symphony of children playing, a underlying harmany of different language and music performances. A must see on your next trip to the city.
World famous Central Park. There is a one-way system in place for bikes and horses - speaking of which, you can rent a ride on a horse drawn carriage although welfare of the horses might want to be questioned... It is a big park and if you want to see it all do it by bike. Lots of walking paths and slight undulations to the north side of the park. Honestly very busy with tourists in the south but its large enough to keep everyone spread out to not feel over run
What a great refuge in NYC. The rock outcroppings were super cool. We walked a bit and only covered a very small amount of this place. The dogs everywhere made me so happy.
Amazing escape from the city with numerous little treasures to be discovered. I highly recommend renting a bike if your visiting from out of town to explore the whole park.
Probably my favorite place to visit in all of NYC. You get the juxtaposition of huge city but calm bit of nature all in one. Could spend an entire day just walking the paths and trails, watching the wildlife, and people watching.
The park is a long walk inside with sades from the luscious green trees. It gives nice break from the NY traffic and rush. Make sure to carry water and carts for kids. The central zoo is a good attraction for kids.
Beautiful park. Lots of adventuring to do. You could definitely get lost easy there. We didn’t even put a dent in it walking around. Hope to visit next time I’m in NY, and maybe even see the zoo.
We spent a lovely afternoon in Central Park. We didn't get to explore the park as much as we would have liked, but enjoyed what we did see. There is so much to do in Central Park, whether it's walking, running, biking, or taking a horse drawn carriage ride. We stopped off at the playground for our kids to play and they enjoyed themselves. There are food vendors outside the park to grab something to eat or drink. This is a must if you plan a trip to NYC.
Amazing and simply beautiful, absolutely loved it. It’s a good walk if you love walking but can be done in a horse buggy or bike.
How could you not give this a 5 star rating? This park has everything - a forest in the North Woods, bouldering, ice skating, huge fields for picnics, trails... the iconic nature of New York City.
First of all, massive respect and kudos to the people who maintain this vast green space in a massive city like NewYork. Have been to NY too many times but visiting Central Park for the first time and loved every minute being there.
Central Park cannot be explored in a single day, not even 10%of it. Such peaceful atmosphere and to add to that you can meet some amazing musicians and relax with their soothing music. Columbus circle is the easiest way to get into the park, Roadside parking is available( 2hr limit ) Look for private parking lots if you decide to stay more time. Many cute chubby squirrels and beautiful birds can be witnessed along the walk. Added some snaps from this place below ………
Always love walking around the Central Park. A great way to see wildlife (especially birds) in the jungle of concrete otherwise. I managed to see hawks and blue jays within 5-10 mins of entering into the park.
I visited on a crisp day and it's hilly enough that you warm up right quick. You also have the opportunity to take a ride on a petti cart. I did that too. The park is nice as is the view. The cart (started raining after a while so we took the ride back out) was an excellent idea.
Central park is the place which cannot be described in words. If you get a chance to go there anytime of the year, you must take that opportunity to visit it. The beauty of central park is unmatched to anything.
Snowed as we arrived so was very picturesque, also took a rickshaw ride around which was interesting as the driver 'Frankie' told us lots information about the park and area (we book Frankie off a Facebook page where he had a lot of rave reviews)
Nice place to walk around and lot of benches to sit on. Fountain and pond were nice. Saw turtles in the pond being fed by a person.
A must see when in town. This park is the calm of the city. A place to relax and get away from the unpredictable NYC streets. Would recommend to anyone who visits!
I could spend all day here! I love walking around and feeling like I’m “out” of the city! There are so many place to throw out a blanket and relax! Plus there always seems to be something fun going on!
So many amazing memories here with friends. It’s always a must to be here on a warm day. No matter what area you’re in Central Park always has a great place.
Biggest park in Manhattan, I had to give it a 3-star tho for poor park maintenance and the fact too many strange-acting people randomly came closer to you. Better avoid visiting areas close to 59th st, the area close to the middle of central park was clean and quiet.
Beautiful quiet morning walks are the best at Central Park. Playgrounds are clean and safe. Dog friendly environment. Picnic areas are very well kept
Huge park with many beautiful views. Biking lane is one way only. It would take 1 hour biking nonstop to circle around.
Central Park in early May 2022 was a lovely experience, especially with all the Spring blooms. I never miss an opportunity to wander around and explore as each time I discover something new.
Best Park in the world! It’s the one you saw in ur childhood movies, until ur physically there. You’ll see nature, baseball games, boats, nature, singing, etc. This is the place where happiness is grown between its trees. Make sure u visi the min u reach NY. Might take u a full day to go around it. (3 to 4 hrs as min)
You can literally spend hours here, due to the immense size of this park.
Definetly wear shoes you’re comfortable walking in.
The views are beautiful and the park grounds are meticulously taken care of.
A great place to show down while still in the big city. Lots of love performers scattered throughout who add to the relaxed vibe.
The park is an interesting mix of nature, and outdoor activities. If you live in the city, this is a great place to get away from the four walls of an apartment. For those visiting looking for interesting things to do, this may not be for you. While there are a few interesting points, visitors will probably get more out of going to see attractions in the city.
So glad to finally check this place out. A little crowed for my taste, but it was so nice! Highly recommend visiting the park if you are visiting!
We were in New York City Jan. 1-8 and went to Central Park twice. The first time we ate street vendor gyros and hotdogs on a park bench while listening to a 3-man jazz band and took in the views of the park and a lot of people watching.
It was pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable.
Our second visit was early morning Friday as it was still snowing...had been snowing since 3am...and the park was covered in a winter wonderland and we enjoyed it very much!
This is a must visit. It's miles of walking. If you don't like walking it's not the place for you. The part is clean. There are many areas you can picnic in.
a wonderful place for a walk, picnic or just take rest. a lot of squirrels that are not afraid of people at all. but a complete lack of public restrooms
Of all the places in New York City that one can visit, Central Park is the one place that I truly wanted to go.
All my life I've seen it in movies and on TV. I've heard about its history and its importance to the city and in this visit I was finally able to get there and it certainly didn't disappoint.
Whether people think of it as the heart or the lungs or some other organ of New York City, I can't imagine that this city could exist as it does today without the availability of Central Park as an escape for New Yorkers.
I gave myself a day and half to be explore the park and I Loved every minute of it.
I started out by buying some Nathan's hot dogs and heading into the park to find a nice big field to have lunch in and watch the people around me. It was great. I ended just sitting and people watching for about 3 hours.
On day one I walked up the west side of the park and on day two, I entered at the northeast corner and walked down.
I saw the Lennon Memorial, walked the ramble and around the reservoir. I visited Bethesda Terrace and listed to an opera singer and walked down the mall where so many movies have been filmed. I crossed the Bow Bridge went to the waterfall.
All I can say is that Central Park is officially my favorite place in New York. Give yourself time to explore it and take the it all in.
If your sight seeing and not spending the day here renting the electric scooters are the best way to get through the park. If your athletic and great on bikes your can ride through it but there are hills that can be challenging to some. Its a very beautiful park and so much to see!!
beautiful Park, Besides plenty of scenic views Central Park offers us numerous opportunities to have fun with friends or the family, enjoy extremely beautiful natural spots, visit historical monuments and places of world value. It’s hard to choose just one side of Central Park as there are many that deserve to be visited. Even if we go there often, the park can always surprise us as we will see something different every day.
If you go to NYC you really need to go to Central Park. It is a beautiful park with rolling hills and water. Many of the trees are older and make the park majestic. I enjoyed walking in the park with some amazing views of the city. It is like you are on the edge between the chaos of the city and the relative beauty of the park.
I love Central Park! It’s so beautiful and there are so many things to do here. I usually go for walks or to stop by if I’m in the area. But there are so many activities here! And what’s best is to w park is SO HUGE it stretches into so much of the city! So you will definitely find something to do in the park or around just look around but the fall views rn are AMAZING
Central park is a nice place, but it is really large. Visit the ponds or Central Lawn for the best view. Belvedere castle is also nice.
Amazing and vastttt park. There are so many activities to do there such as cycling, hiking, going to the zoo, etc… beautiful and well taken care of. Highly recommended…
The best, the biggest park in the world. It’s huge, so I recommend you to spend all day here.
A lot of bathrooms, places for rest and interesting attractions. This is my favorite place in NYC. If you want to escape the city, go there!
Beautiful park! You wouldn’t expect such a massive park in a huge city like New York, the park has many things to do like a zoo, lakes and coffee shops. Great place to go for a walk to get away from the city.
This park is amazing, it located at the center of Manhattan which is the perfect location for a short getaway. It’s clean and full of artists. I really enjoyed this park!
Nice place. Iconic park in New York. It's so lively place with people on different activities jogging, cycling and with tourists from all around the world ( with cameras).
My family had a huge gathering with scrumptious food and exhilarating games. Though the park security did tell us we had to put our canopy tents down since it wasn’t allowed. We ran for as much shade as we could get to hide from the burning sun. Afterwards they kept driving around trying to find a reason to harass us. What was beautiful was seeing the turtles in the water and the ducks. Though the bathroom though smelled terrible and one of the stall doors had to be held closed by someone while you used the toilet. It was a fun event nevertheless and I will remember it for a long time.
Beautiful park with so much space to enjoy with lots of space for picnics, dog specific area as well as a playground. Very iconic views.
This massive city park has something for everyone. And it was a favorite haven when I lived in the city, as well as a place I always return to when I visit.
On this most recent trip we just wandered inside the park after finishing a visit at the Met, making our way downtown before heading over the take the 6 train on the East side.
Spring was barely starting to peek through, which was fun to see!
And we took advantage of the food carts, buying a pretzel. Which was edible, and slightly better with lots of mustard (which the car vendor gave us on a piece of wax paper...)
Well, what can i say? Central park is just breathtaking. Its huuuuuge, there's so much to do and see. There's always something going on. We personally found the side with the reservoir the least interesting, but other visitors may prefer it. We visited a couple of times. The first time we had a tour on one of the pedal tuk tuks ( not sure if that's what it's called 🤔) we were
Expertly ridden around by Baris who showed us all the best spots, and took some amazing photos of us 😍. We also had breakfast in the park. The next time, we went for a picnic, this was also lovely as we sat in the shade and enjoyed the lovely relaxing atmosphere and live music from a guy singing and playing his guitar 🎸. We also hired a rowing boat from loeb boathouse. This is really good value for money and well worth doing. It was $20 plus a deposit of $20 if you return within the hour. We had a lot of fun. Central park has something for everyone, and no trip to New York would be complete without a visit.
Good place for a picnic, it was more of a fanboy visit for me - having seen "Central Perk" in Friends & a lot of Central park in Spiderman (games), I just wanted to visit the real place.
It's big (as expected), crowded (again, as expected) but if you're a larger group (say 5+ people), you could easily spend hours here, picnicking & playing, enjoying a good weekend.
I picked the Perfect day to walk in Central Park! The sun was shining, music was playing everywhere and families filled the park with joy.
Absolutely incredible. I loved every second of my visit. I would highly recommend this park to anyone and everyone.
Loved the park, such an awesome experience. One thing though… the smell is a little unpleasant around the bike roads since you share the same road as the carriage rides. But overall, lovely atmosphere!
Amazing place to take a break when you are exploring the NYC! ;D
But make sure you do have a whole one day for this place, its huuuuuge.
Full of Street artists, different shows, and amazing experiences.
Place to eat,
Place to drink,
Place to chill,
Place to have fun!
Deffinietly recomendet. ;)
I always have to visit Central Park when I go to NYC. So much beauty, so much life, so much to do and see in the most gorgeous setting. Live music, live art exhibits, people living and enjoying their lives all around you as you walk through. Plenty of statues to gaze upon as you walk around. Gorgeous little ponds inside of the park add even more beauty. It’s just as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer. Never a dull moment 😍😍😍
I feel tourist in the city can never truly appreciate central park. When you are visit the city for few days you won't spend a evening relaxing and soaking in the amazing surroundings the park has to offer. Sheep Meadow, The Mall, Belaverde Castle, Bow Bridge and Wood chip vantage point are some of my favorite spots in the park.
Cycling around the park in fall is the league of its own, this park offer beffer fall colors than entire west coast combined.
I really enjoyed exploring Central Park on my visit to NYC. So many beautiful bridges and arches and the trees were turning for fall so it was just magical.
By far the best park I've been to because there are just so many sights/sceneries to view!! Visiting the park during the summer was pretty exhausting because of the amount I spent walking throughout. The vibe and environment just hit really well because there's no reason for anyone to be bored as you feel the urge to be physical and moving by getting inspired by the many people cycling, running, or walking with their dogs all around the park. A great place to spend your time hanging out with friends!
Couldn’t get any more beautiful I’ve seen an stunning fall foliage 🤩 the colors of the leaves are really pretty, and the crunchy leaves everywhere. Also is a great place for a running or walking, the path is great you can also find water fountains. Since is huge there are many entrances and differents ways to get there. …
What can I say? This park is my favorite! So much to see and do. I wish I knew about the Disco rink! I would have brought my rollerskates! I suggest staying closer to the South entrance and if you have time. Download the app forthe audio tour!
Huge park with lots of things to see. The park has so many playgrounds for kids that we didn't have time to visit all of them. Each playground has its unique design of play structures and water features. We were pleasantly surprised to find a carousel in the middle of the park. Price for one ride is $3.50, credit card accepted.
The scenery is beyond beautiful and there are just so many things to do. There are museums, boating opportunities, scenic trails, and so much more. You can even drive through different areas of the park. You can spend says just exploring this park in the biggest city of the US.
I will forever love walking in this park during this time of year. When all the trees are full. No matter if you live here of not, its HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We walked the entire length of the park yesterday. Lots of people to watch, especially on the south end.
Would love to come back when flower & fauna are in full bloom.
Absolutely Love it! Just Amazing and Beautiful! Love Central Park. Gorgeous! Nothing in the world is like a beautiful walk in Central Park Ny City!
Fabulous place to go, we had breakfast surrounded by lovely birds and although it was -6° it was full of people.
A must stop if you're in New York! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Such a beautiful park and a wonderful respite from the noise of the city. Plenty of wildlife to see - geese and their goslings, racoon, squirrels, turtles and various birds - as well as a huge variety of plants and trees, lakes and streams. Felt terribly sorry though, for the horses pulling the carriage rides and wish they weren't allowed.
Nice escape from the city. It was nice to see so many people out enjoying the park. Spent two days and still didn’t see it all.
One of the best city parks in the world, just rent a bike and ride around it, I recommend to bring your own food because the park food is no good. Just go and rest.
I didn't actually go into Central Park I was right outside of it. I was watching the Japan parade which was really cool with lots of people fashion and a celerity George Takei from Star Trek. I cant wait for the second annual Japan parade.
One of, if not the greatest parks in the world - and not just its size, but all the features and amenities it has to offer. It has its own flora, fauna and wildlife
When I'm in NYC I always go to the Park. It is enormous. You could go here everyday for a year and not see all of it. It's a great place to people watch, exercise, get some fresh air, or walk your dog. In the fall and winter they put up short protective fences to allow the grass to recover for the spring and summer but it is not limiting at all.
The New York's skyline from the Central Park is simply phenomenal. The park is massive and it offers a lot, there are many must see spots to visit so plan for a good few hours if you want to see it all. We would recommend seeing it both during the day and at night.
There is a nice contrast between the bustling urban life of downtown Manhattan and the greenery of Central Park. Its a nice date spot or a place to unwind. With statues, sites to see, and things to do, it's a good place to just relax and reflect.
I walked the entire length of Central Park from north in Harlem down to Midtown Manhattan. If I lived in NY I'd be exploring here every day. 😊🌳🌲🌴💚 …
We took the subway to the North Central Park station and walked the 2 1/2 miles down adequate restrooms plenty of vendors and people watching was super fun!
We had a tricyle trip with the one of the most cultured, fun and interesting person: kader! We had a tour around the park with him and honestly got more information from him than the touristic guide we came with to New York! It was totally worth the price he asked for and the tour around the park/ district was a great introduction to central park, if you don’t have the time to do all the walks! I promised I would leave a review on here, so who ever sees my review makes sure to ask for him!
This absolutely amazing oasis at the heart of Manhattan needs no review. It is as beautiful as I had first seen it for the first time in 2007. This time spent many days walking almost the whole length of it and enjoying the nature as much as I can. Safe and beautiful to walk, bike, run, boat or just relax.
An absolutely great public park, so big that you feel like you’re in a forest. You are in the most dense conglomerate of buildings in the world though.
Central Park is a beautiful and iconic park located in the heart of New York City. The park is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a wide range of activities and attractions for people of all ages.
One of the standout features of Central Park is the ice skating rink, which is a popular destination during the winter months. The rink is well-maintained and offers a fun and enjoyable experience for people of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned skater or a beginner, you'll have a great time gliding around the rink.
In addition to ice skating, Central Park offers a wide range of other activities and attractions, including walking and cycling trails, playgrounds, and sporting facilities. The park is also home to a number of famous landmarks, including the Bethesda Fountain and the Strawberry Fields memorial to John Lennon.
Central Park has to be one of the best, if not the best, metropolitan parks in the United States. There are so many things to do not matter what time of the year.
Except by the entrance at 59 st and the Pulitzer plaza which was really dirty because if the food street business...all in general was nice sadly we were late so we were not able to go further..Fifth Av has a lot to give don't miss it.
Amazing! My first time experience and I felt in love with it. A must go and do the bike ride with the guys that are there. They will tell you the history and all the gossip while going around the park. Will also stop in different places to take pictures. It was awesome!
This is a really lovely place to go for a walk and chill see some amazing sights especially some of the home alone views that were used in the film. A lot of wildlife around too and doggies if you’re a dog lover.
The most popular urban park in the world. It should be on the top of your list when you visit NYC. You should take half a day to visit this huge park. You can do activities like riding a bike and rowing the boat. But they are not free. You can also take pictures with New York 's skyline in the background. You can easily get here with subway. If you have time, you can visit the billionaire row which is just beside the central Park.
Central Park is a vibe for those looking for a free activity on a budget on a hot summer day. Always active events and cool people to meet. If your a photographer a really amazing place for landscape photography.
There are a lot of fantastic, hidden places and things to see... But they're not advertised or indicated anywhere!
If you lack data or WiFi, in any shape or form then your next best bet at gaining the necessary info is at an info center or Belvedere Castle (as far as I know) in paper form. Huge missed opportunity to have signs indicating where you are and which way things are...
I feel like I could spend all day here. The green with skycrapper behind is magnificent to look at. It is like the lung of New York where people could sit, breath, relax. Heaven.
Lovely park with awesome views, be aware no alcohol is allowed to be consumed in the park which was unfortunate as it was a lovely hot day and a beer would have been a treat! Worth the visit
Great park in the center of Manhattan
It is a huge park, if you want to visit all of it you need to take at least a day
If you have children there are many playground area in the park as well as sports area (baseball, tennis, volleyball, etc.)
You can find toilet, water funtain dispatched in the park
There are area where you can eat as well
Across the park you will find very nice photo spots
Well, as much as I wanted to see Strawberry Fields, it was much smaller than I anticipated. The park in all was much bigger than I thought though. Very well maintained!
Nothing to share that hasn’t already been said about this place. Beautiful, full of life, brimming with excitement. The are so many places to see, to walk around, to relax or click pictures. You will find people involved in games, dance off’s, picnics and everything under the sun. The place is beautifully maintained and close to several attractions in New York. Excellent place to bring your kids.
Central Park is really nice place to visit. There are concerts, and even free events, plenty of play grounds for children, skating area for skaters, bike and running lanes, zoos, and natural gardens.
Beautiful. So much to see and do. Couple pics surrounding the park. A great place to look at architecture around the perimeter and to people watch. Always something going on.
It's very cold during january and public restrooms are far away. A lot of walking and sightseeing can be done here. There is a very good restaurant located in the boat house with average to high priced menu items, but the view is worth the experience and price.
First time here and was at night. Stayed on the outside pathways nearest the main streets as the inner pathways seemed very sketchy and unsafe and poorly lit with some questionable people around.
Wish we came here during the day to see everything.
Overall though was still nice to walk around, saw several rats and raccoons around also which I guess would just be called the urban wildlife experience haha
My partner on the other hand was not thrilled about the rats or raccoons haha
Absolutely stunning park with so much to explore! It's hard to believe there is a massive busy city just beyond the trees when you are in this place! We hired some bicycles which I would highly recommend if you can, it meant we got to see the whole park although there are some inclines which can be a bit challenging. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting New York!
Biggest park located inside any city like New York, 840 Acres. It's great It's amazing. Don't miss to visit this park.
Central Park is a visual masterpiece full of attractions, from green meadows to sprawling waters, gardens and unique bridges, music and performance.
I cant get enough of this place! 😍 …
So much fun. So much to see. We only made it to Belvedere castle then back to the city. The zoo is intimate and the animals are so much fun.
We were married in Wagner Cove this summer, couldn't have chosen a more beautiful location! Central Park is beautiful with many miles of walking pathways and a lot of nature to check out. A must see in NYC 🗽. …
One of the coolest parks in the world, I'm fortunate enough to walk through Central Park every day to get to work. There are so many beautiful areas within the park to mention, I'll say from 81st street down to 59th are the best sections. In any event Central Park is a must if your in town for a visit.
NYC's best public park. Amazing autumn colors.
Take your time and do not rush here.
For the first time we spent so long at the central park. There's so much to see and do.
We picked all the famous stops and went to them, staring from the rock, to the needle.
The New York central Park is an expanse of land filled with nature, a place you can go to relax, have a walk, cycling and many more activities. It is a beautiful place.
To whom much is given, much will be required ~ (Luke 12:48). I must say, hats of for the brainchild that decided this great metropolis requires an escape back to nature. Central Park as the urban park designers named it, has created a peaceful place within the city landscape. I plan to return for more discovers with my camera.
First time on Central Park was a blast. Weather was really hot so spent most of the time biking. Amazing cycle lanes that offers room and great view of Manhattan. Also played chess but the official organisation is close till 2023 but there was a nice guy who bought his own chess sets for people to play with.
Absolutely beautiful park that feels like a forest surrounded by skyscrapers. Spent two hours wondering round at a leasurely pace and barely even walked half the park, so certainly a treck. Would definatley recommend, especially in nice weather.
Beautifully clean and peaceful environment full of wildlife. We felt safe walking through and the people we saw were friendly and polite. The only negative is the lack of toilets available!
Had such a wonderful and peaceful day in Central Park. Had visited New York many times but never Central Park. I did a Pedicab Tour with a guy names Sekou Camara, best decision and he knows everything. It was awesome to hear and see all the key points from movies. I was able to get off and take photos and he was my own photographer lol. So many people exercising, walking their dog, on a luxury Picnic or just enjoying the great outdoors. They offer horse and carriage rides, bike rentals. Just an overall great experience.
It’s huge and it’s cool! I hired an electric scooter and zipped around the entire park in under an hour, great fun.
One of New York's many great parks. Offers all activities: sports activities; concerts; picnics; hiking and bicycling trails; finishing line for our Marathon; row boating; restaurants: beautiful sculptures; and everything else!! Accessible via of mass transit. Great for children, and people of all ages.
Walked from 100st station at the top of the park and meandered down through various spots. The skyline view from the JKO lake was very good. The castle was interesting (it looked like something Disney would have built). We walked down through the Ramble that we thought was the best part of the park right down to the end and through to Times Square. It took a good 3 hours to walk from the top to bottom at a slow pace. One of the pics is of the building in Ghostbusters (Dana's apartment/Zuel).
This is a lung of the city. Great park. You can stroll there whole day. Beautiful place in all seasons!!!
No matter how many times I come here, I am always amazed.
All the ponds, bridges, gardens, statues… Magical and beautiful.
What a special place to recharge from the hustle and bustle of the city.
My favorite part are the turtles and artists.
Central Park is a place you must visit when visiting New York. It is a good place to walk around offering a lot of scenery. The park is 1 mile long with lots of things to see. There is ice skating avaible and you can also visit the Metropolitan Mesueum of Art. If you do not want to walk the whole mile it is also a good place to just sit down and relax.
We arrange a horse and carriage to bring us around park , carriage driver was very knowledgeable regards all move mad in it and whom live around it and regards the time john lennan died and where. Great experience.
This park is beautiful! First time in New York and wanted to see this park. Our hotel was across the street from so it was very convenient. We also enjoyed a pedicab to drive is around inside the park.
New York's one saving grace lol!(ok,pizza, makes 2 things) probably the nicest, biggest and most famous Park you'll ever see. They have pretty much everything here you could want, Children's Zoo is here and the place is like a forest surrounded by skyscrapers. It's huge, so budget plenty of hours for wandering around and looking at everything, or get one of those horse-drawn carriage rides through the park, they're everywhere. Also all the vendors are lined up in and around the park selling all their hot dogs and sodas and roasted peanuts and ice cream and such. It's an incredible place and a great way to spend an afternoon..
If you enjoy visiting nature reserves, you can dedicate one day doing so. The atmosphere is both nice and expansive. I recommend that you pay a visit to the location.
What more can be said of Central Park? It’s one of the best decisions NYC ever made, a constant counter to the world of ever-higher skyscrapers around, a reminder of what the natural state of this bustling island used to look like. The best is to find some of the less popular spots and make it your own engagement with nature.
Can anyone disagree that CP is truly one of the most glorious parks in the world?
A #NYC island oasis. Nature, music, art, performance, exercise, exploration, activity, and entertainment for all.
You get a real vibe of wellbeing and New York pride when in Central Park. Beautiful nature, walkways and lakes all with a stunning cityscape in the backdrop. There are many historical sights and lesser known places to discover with each visit. I really enjoyed the swimming pool back in summer. Exploring on a bike a great way to get around, there are some places that hire them.
If you do nothing else in NYC, PLEASE visit Central Park. And by “visit,” I mean devote at least a few hours to walking, exploring, and enjoying all this gorgeous park has to offer. Truly a haven in a frantic and bustling city.
Beautiful! Haven of peacefulness in the heart of the city. Easy to find a quiet place to relax/read/watch the world go by...somewhere to eat/drink.. be entertained (great musicians at the weekend).
Great for locals and great for tourists. This is a huge park in New York that is both popular and very beautiful.
The weather wasn't great on my visit, but it was awesome to get out of the noise that is New York City.
I think New York exploration must start with this park. A lot of playgrounds is suitable for walking with kidds. You can walk with your dog here too. Don't worry about restrooms, they are.
The park is surrounded by several museums that you can visit. There are many free parking lots on Sunday.
Great place to hangout any time of the year, A refuge from the hustle of the streets. I love the times when I went in Winter after a snowfall...
You can’t beat the lush bushes, secluded corners and spectacular esplanade this park can offer you. There’s a whole world contained in its perimeter. Unmissable.
We really enjoyed our experience, we rent a bike and went to all the park around. Lovely places!
One of the finest & grandest city parks in the world, maybe even the best. What a fabulous place to wander.
Glorious urban setting! The creative faculties of both God and man are put on display so beautifully. Regarding the latter, I must confess: though modern architecture is often repugnant to my classical sensibilities, the new additions to the skyline are a breath of fresh air and very much enhance the cityscape. With more development to come, the future appears bright for this already timeless classic. 5 stars!
Central Park is many parks assembled together in one big green space. Assuming that you have enough time on your hands and that you are a fan of public parks, it would be better to subdivide it into sections and not do more than one per day. This slow approach would give you better enjoyment of its features. If you are a casual tourist to New York, you can merge two activities into one. Start your visit on 59th and 5th. Stay on the east side of the park as much as possible and exit around 81rst Street to visit the Metropolitan Museum. If you still have energy after the museum, walk back to 59th Street on the west side of the park.
Always a lovely park to go for a walk. The views of the midtown skyline is always breathtaking. Stay alert of your surroundings though.
One of the beautiful historical park in the United States. Wonderful walkway and natural environment which make you refresh while you visit there.
If you aren't from the city, it is definitely worth walking through. First time through Central Park and was worth seeing! Was not overly crowded at all, people out enjoying a warm fall day. At this point the leaves had not changed much, would definitely love to come back a couple weeks later next time to see it in more of the fall atmosphere!
It is truly an awesome place to come at. Whether you're a tourist or local, park could take hours to walk or cycle the whole thing. Truly a very historic park in it's own right.
Is the best place in New York City, where you can feel far away and at peace. Sometimes it can be very crowded but still enjoyable. NO BATHROOMS!
Great place to walk and get away from the busy traffic on the Avenues. Really pretty! Even in the rain.
Despite devastatingly cold weather it was still pleasant and welcoming. The best city park I've ever visited in winter.
