Reviews of Brooklyn Bridge Park
Sou Corley
great place to.meditate and walk. A Definitely tourist part of town, but not over crowded if you walk past all the Dumbo popular spots. Saturday and Sunday has a flea market that is worth the go. I love it here and find that this neighborhood has much changed for the better. I like that this area has the convenience of clean bathrooms nearby. Definitely worth a day out!! check it out!!!

Absolutely love this location for personal photo projects as well as client photo sessions.
There are so many vignettes and little nooks to take photos. This is truly my first choice of location when working with clients. It's also a great spot for meditation.
To be able to sit on the rocks and look out at the water... so calming. There are also walking trails and benches. This park is designed for the community and I love it.

Gorgeous little park! What an oasis for kids of all ages! My 5yr old & his 4yr old friend loved it there! I do wish there were more bungee swings (there long lines for that.
The bathroom was very nice (esp for a park bathroom). And the foam floors are great, in the play-spaces. The slide space is so fun--nice sand!
The views are also lovely -- esp along the water. Nice water refill stations.

One of the best places to go in NYC. Don't miss to go this place especially in the sunset. The sunset view is amazing with the Manhattan skyline. The park is really big and there's also a long trail to walk and bike. I recommend you to go there when you want to see the night view of Manhattan. Can get easily there with subway. There are lots of restaurants and bars here too. I will go there again if I still have a chance to visit NYC again.
Katelyn Meyer
What a great way to spend the day!!! The park consists of so many things for everyone. There are volley ball courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, water park, ice cream places restaurants and shopping. The bathrooms are abundant and clean. Parking was easy since there are metered parking. 2$ an hour. Take the family and have an incredible day in Brooklyn.
Michael Cruz
An amazing place to go when the weather is nice with plenty to do and places to sit. If you are looking for a place to see and photograph the NYC skyline, I can't really think of a better place that's as convenient as brooklyn bridge park. The length of shoreline covered means plenty of great vantage points. If you're just visiting, it a great place to go and enjoy the outdoors while still being free, though you'll likely spend money at nearby shops. There are also many events held here throughout the year. If you're not from the city, I strongly suggest taking the ferry from Manhattan since the nearby streets and public transportation can be confusing even for lifelong New Yorkers who aren't too familiar with the area.
Jack Sica
Great place to get away and think. Cool winding bike paths, cool views of the bridges and the city, restaurants close by, outdoor dining, play areas for kids, courtyard area with benches and a table for you to eat, barbecues. It's a nice place.
David Cornish
I love getting to visit Brooklyn Bridge Park! Everyone likes to take Instagram photos of DUMBO on Water St and Easter Sunday, but I think this park is the best. You have amazing views of the bridge and the Statue of Liberty if you walk down farther. There is plenty of space to run or walk your dog, and in the summer time, there are workout classes in the evenings and tons of programming and events. Pebble beach and the carousel some of my favourite spots.
chrisnjon
THE ONE AND ONLY, BROOKLYN BRIDGE. And ICONIC scene. You will people from all around the world over here and you will see amazing events. I’m talking weddings, proposals, engagements and heartbreaks. I’ve seen pregnancy pictures and baby pics too. You will find the most romantic people here. I really do this this is a MUST DO for your trip to NYC. Or even if you live here, I recommend to come here at least once a month or two. Because it makes everything seems more meaningful. I went walking with a cute girl that day. And with the Manhattan background it really makes everything sparkle. Come… I do recommend it.
Ekendra Lamsal
Beautiful place to observe the sunset, casual Manhattan horizon, ferries passing by and much more. Be it summer days or winter, you can spend good hours here.
The Brooklyn Bridge Park is a waterfront park in Brooklyn, New York, stretching 1.3 miles along the East River. The park features a variety of recreational amenities, including walking and biking paths, picnic areas, sports fields, playgrounds, and scenic overlooks.
The park also contains a number of cultural attractions, such as the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservatory, the Main Street Playground, and the Jane's Carousel. The park provides stunning views of the Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, and New York Harbor, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
Debbie Key
A lovely spot for families to spend time together. Nice restaurants nearby. Carousel was a nice touch. The vibe was so different than across the river in Manhattan. It was worth the ride over. We took a ferry over and an Uber back so we got the full experience.
Erik C. McDaniel
This is the best places to go in New York City. Try not to miss to go this spot particularly in the dusk. The dusk view is astonishing with the Manhattan horizon. The recreation area is huge and there's likewise a long path to walk and bicycle. I prescribe you to go there when you need to see the night perspective on Manhattan. Can get effectively there with metro. Most certainly be back soon!
Ryan Smith
Nice park, good views from the river to lower Manhattan. Seems this downtown park might be a bit undiscovered. Not terribly busy. Bonus playground for those with young ones. You really don't want to drive here. Walk, train, ferry or bike are all realistic. Walking distance to the photogenic Washington street if that's your thing. Timeout indoor markets is also here which is fun and offers rooftop views over the river.
Frankie Rodriguez
Great photo opportunity. Very clean and safe. You can water taxi there or by train. Great restaurants in the area too. Great views of lower Manhattan. Can't miss here.
Veronica Fernandez Miller
First time in this peer. Wanting to visit since my last time in Brooklyn last year but didn’t get the chance to come. It has a nice view of the night skyline of southeast Manhattan. It gave me the opportunity to take some decent night shots. It rained earlier so it was muggy, but still enjoyable this early in the summer. Lots of people still in the park after 11 pm.
Eric Yao
Brooklyn Bridge is definitely one of my favorite places to visit in New York City and I think it's a really underrated spot. There is plenty of seating along the river and amazing restaurants nearby. Watching the sunset here was truly beautiful and I highly recommend everyone to visit.
Del DeVries
Easy access to a diverse urban park with great views across the East River. Come back after dark for the best view of The city light. Bummer trails, walking paths, vendor food, ice cream, and everything to spend a fun hope or an entire day. You will find plenty of tourists right by the Brooklyn Bridge, but the locals are everywhere in their urban park. Easy access public restrooms as well.
Peterson JeanMary
I encourage everyone who enjoys nature to visit Brooklyn bridge park, it has an amazing view of Manhattan, and you can have picnics and family gathering. It is great to take someone out on a date, catch up with a friend, or to be alone with yourself. Although it is downtown which is in the city. The park has a way of making you feel connected to nature while enjoying the scenic views. There are also various of restaurants around the place as well as some sweets to indulge yourself when you do get hungry. Although I usually go to the park in the evening until night. I can assure you, you will enjoy yourself regardless if you are a morning bird or a night owl.
Juan Diego Pulgarin
It's an amazing place with everything you need. Amazing Food and fantastic view of the Hudson River. Picnic or just spend time seeing Manhattan buildings it's a relaxing place to be and walk around.
Jeremiah Good
A respite in the midst of concrete and walls. This park was a new adventure for us and our friend who regularly ran through the park and parked himself in other green spaces. Pier 6 was a new green space to him and we all enjoyed the coziness mingled with the warm temps (for November), We layed out a blanket and played Skip-bo and Garbage while listening to some light jazz, trying to drown out the helicopters 🚁 flying overhead. A nice breeze was also enjoyed.
There are paths through the landscaping, but the plants are tall enough to mask the fact that skyscrapers are only a few hundred yards away.
As the sun went down and the temperature dropped, we made our way back to the car, but not before noting the waves and distant view of the Statue of Liberty 🗽.
We'll be back to explore more of the park. 🏞️
Isada Norflet
Absolutely love this park. The views are near impossible to beat! They are always hosting fun activities here like champions league matches and sunset movies in the summer. Also if you're a soccer/futbol fan there are great fields to play on with the city and Hudson as your backdrop. Can't get any better than that!
Shenardo Smith
I visit here all the time over the years of living in New York, it's a great park for hanging out with your friends, family or you're other half. Relaxing in the summer months for cooling off and an excellent place to see the city skylines. Dumbo is close by as well.
Sebastian Mavrides
What a wonderful experience. Nice trails to walk, courts to play, plants to see and a view that was simply stunning! Excellent place to take photos of the city and Brooklyn Bridge!
NT JAD
Great park in downtown Brooklyn! They have so many different areas—basketball, hand ball, playground, sprinklers, sand play, free kayaking, roller skating, soccer, fishing, workout area and lots of open fields for you to run around and play. We came on a Friday afternoon for the free admission to roller skate and it was worth it. Didn’t have to pay anything since my kids had their own blades. Definitely make a day trip here!
Martin Lapidus
Amazing place! The best pics in Brooklyn and a nice park to relax enjoying sunset alone or with friends!
Dumbo is a perfect area to drinks cocktail or coffee watching this amazing views!
Angelito Jusay Photography
I have been photographing here for many years now and have seen this park develop into what it is today. Even though it can get very crowded here, it's still always a joy to photograph engagement sessions and weddings at this park. The sunsets here are to die for!
Randall Murrain
Beautiful location with an exquisite view of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges! Neat little beach area where kids play. Great spot for sitting down and enjoying the day.
Jessica F
Beautiful place to hang out. You can do so much. My favorite is taking the kids skating, the teens play basketball while I meditate and pray by the water. The sunset is so beautiful 😍 …
Renita Lawrence
I live across the water from the park so all I have to do is take the ferry one stop across to get here. It’s always so beautiful and peaceful. One of my favorite places in NYC
Natalia Mora
One of the places when you can contemplate the sunset in NYC and see the Manhattan skyline. There's restaurants near around or you can take a snack and a drink and enjoy the impressive view. A must of New York!
Paarth Chauhan
One of the best views you can get here while enjoying the sport you love. Soccer/Basketball/PickleBall/Tennis/Gym/Cardio and many more I witnessed. There’s a nearby parking available starting from $40 for 3 hours at least. Restroom is available and opens at 9 am.
Peter Salem
When on this side of the river, take a walk around here. Along the soccer pitches, along the park areas, and just take in the skyline and the water. Day or night, this is a great place to just soak in the atmosphere of the city
Danielle Whyte
This park is highly highly impressive. Brooklyn is in need of more green space and parks, so I'm glad this project came to fruition to fill in that gap. This is one of the world's wonders.
Wiredell Hill
So many things to do. Basketball, roller skating, hand ball, workout and soccer, nice view of downtown Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridge. There is ice cream and pizza near by
Xinnia “Mercy” Rengifo
It's beautiful here. The view is amazing, especially at sunset. It's quiet and serene. Great place to walk and talk or just sit and enjoy the view.
Victor Ml. Guareño
It is a beautiful place to go as a family, as a couple, is a pet friendly too, you can go for a walk as I saw many and even run, you can go for a picnic, it has a beautiful place where you can sit on the grass to share with your partner.
Recommended !

It’s a beautiful park, but the people there are not beautiful. My baby boy Christopher was trying to enjoy himself on the swings, and 2 older big boys ganged up on him. Their names were Emmett and Peter. He now can’t go to playgrounds without thinking about that trauma.
El Shennawi
Wonderful place for families to hang out, can take wonderful photos, and create great memories, there are tonnes of restaurants and many kitchens to choose from. Enjoy the beautiful
MX Williams
Brooklyn Bridge Park is a very scenic viewpoint to get visuals of the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. Located close to one of my favourite hotels, 1 Hotel Brooklyn (you should definitely check em out if you wanna stay i. The area), the park provides an apt space for walks and runs during the seasons (although I wouldn’t run in the cold beside water as I’ve seen some do.
The parking limited. We used this space to record a video. Try to take into account that there’s a helipad across from the park so there might be interruptions in sound. There are also boats & ferries passing that might have noise.
More security could be felt but the area seems safe. Not somewhere I’d visit late night though.
GB
Pros, relaxing, great views, perfect for parties, and picnic. Very little decoration is needed since the background does alot of work.
Planning a party can be difficult in knowing where to set up. Though there is a picnic area it is very noisy and in the middle of everything. If you have someone who is bothered by loud sounds this area is not good. We choose Pier 2 on the lawn near the board for easy set up and making it easy to find our party.
The Park only allows table up to a small Height so we were told if we put up our food table we would be kicked out (we saw several people who were actually asked to leave and were upset).
Parking is horrendous. If you have to drive keep going to the existence that reads Pier 2 and pray you find a spot. If not a lot or driving in circle will be your day.
Overall great experience with small draw backs.

Amazing views, the scan line is beautiful and the transport so accessible, you can use the fast ferry, train or simply enjoy crossing by walking all the bridge. 😎 …
M K
Beautiful park with some free activities in the summer. Lots of benches to sit and overlook the Manhattan view. Came here for free kayaking which was very fun! Was hard to find the entrance of the kayaking in pier 2 but eventually made it to the dock. Will come back to see the sunset and night view
Zaire Arruz
Beautiful and so much to do! Great restaurants near by beautiful view skating rink, pool, shopping store near by !The Mary go round, and looking out at the Manhattan sky line & the Hudson River! Amazing 👏🏾 …

It was a beautiful gloomy fall day. Everywhere you turned someone was taking pictures: engagement photos, birthday photos, or just snapping selfies. Love exploring my city!
Shrenik Shah
Excellent place for walk and run/ cycle
Good horticulture and walkways and enough ground for kids to play
Has good restrooms and view of statue of liberty and nice sunset
Good facilities for basketball for teenagers
Nearby sailing facilities

Such a fun place to spend some time day or night. Pretty views, good eats, and plenty of people watching. Quintessential NY for tourists and locals alike
Thomas Ploner
Short: Absolutely stunning place! "Photo classic"
Long: If you are interested in photography or simply just want to make the most of your NYC trip go there. There are about 4 good image spots within about 10 minutes walking distance. Afterwards you can have a great morning walk back into downtown across brooklyn bridge. Won't get any better! The old pier is a fantastic place to enjoy sunrise (and maybe also sunset), check out my attached image.

Great views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. We were nearly frozen but a perfect place to take a long walk and great photos.

So much going on from food to a merry go round also the view omg is amazing its a must for any tourist or any new Yorker that's looking for something new and exciting. Cute little park with water access for kids or dogs. A great spot to catch a breeze off the water and cool down in the summer while taking in beautiful views of the skyline.
Vipul Singh
Very beautiful park. Lot of scenic views of manhattan. Place to sit and walk around. Nice places to snack and dine too.
C Turner (Jr.)
Very crowed with visitors as always. City needs to do a better job of emptying the trash cans on weekends. You can 🏃🏾 across but very slow due to everyone stopping for photos. …
Justin Shaver
Beautiful, spacious and a great place for pictures. The carousel is only $2 a ride right now. Well worth the stop for the kids.

Awesome place to hang around. A lot of grounds to explore. Great place to bring visitors for entertainment. I would highly recommend to visit.

Nightlife at Dumbo seems very trendy and hip! I was genuinely surprised to see how nice and clean it is compared to time square area. Bridges and the park/ walks around the area are so nice and so many spots for great photos. It is a lot bigger than you think so make sure you give yourself at least 2-3 hours if you want to walk over the bridge as well
Very Berry
We really enjoyed walking around here! It’s a great place to walk around and relax, you can even take the water taxi for some beautiful views
Jenny L
This is a nice place to take a stroll and enjoy the view of the city. It surprised me by how quiet the park is despite it being surrounded by the city. I almost forgot I was even in the city while walking around. It is also definitely a great place to sit, hangout, and take pictures.
Doraemon
Stunning sunset, community friendly facilities, interesting and thought provoking exhibitions and of course, amazing events always line up;)

Very beautiful park, for walking, cycling, with many shops for food, drink and coffee. The view of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge is wonderful. Great place for all seasons.
Dina S
It's really nice. I came for the skate park, which was great. I didn't really walk around much. They also had basketball & other sports courts nearby. Parking was a bit difficult to find, though I believe there was supposed to be a lot at a nearby pier.
Marijn van Laerhoven
Nice views from the water side. If you like walking, then definitely take a walk around here.
Thomas J. Lee
Visited here for the first time for LVMH 5K marathon. There were 6 piers all well maintained, clean and safe. Has got a great view of Manhattan. Dog friendly, Runner friendly, baby friendly.
C L
One of the nicer, newer places to visit. Ocean air, less trash and smokers, fun walk along the water with nice community activities.
Frank Angelo (Hiraeth Oblivion)
Great park! Been going here all the time every year! You'll never get tired of taking pictures at this place!
Diego Pereira
I've been coming here since I was kid and wished I lived in this neighborhood. Just walking around this neighborhood gives you a feeling of zen. Old vintage houses and buildings . And the best view for a romantic date. Definitely the spot to watch any NYC fireworks displays
Kristen L. Matulis
I love Brooklyn Bridge Park so much! The whole space is incredible, and it offers amazing views of Lower Manhattan, the Manhattan Bridge, and the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a can't-miss experience. You can enjoy the green spaces, or take in the iconic views of NYC's Manhattan skyline and the amazing architecture of the bridges.

Another must visit in New York. Carry a rain coat or umbrella, you never know when the weather changes.
Walk across the Brooklyn bridge and take a stroll along the Brooklyn bridge park. Try the famous ice cream at the Brooklyn ice cream factory.

Mostly-linear public space featuring amenities and pleasant greenery. It's a nice place for a picnic with friends, a contemplative walk, a view of the city skyline, and so on. Has a nice view of the sunset.
Sonny Ratcliff
I remember watching BBP being built from the 2 train on my way to work years ago and I thought ‘that’s going to be amazing, and I was right. Let’s start with the obvious jaw dropping views. It’s all right there in from of you. Great place for vacation photos and city sights.
The piers all have different offerings. From beach volleyball to basketball, soccer or just laying in the sun. There’s places for kids to play, a tiiiiiiiiiny dog park, food near by and places to just sit and relax.
This is one of my favorite places to walk since it first opened. Watch out for runners and bikes, Shari the road and walk ways.
Go all the way to the northern end and creep into DUMBO or walk up to the Brooklyn Bridge or the beautiful Brooklyn Promenade. Both gorgeous views for tourists and cool walks for locals.
Annie Chaklader
Early morning stroll with my daughter, loved it!Waterfront park, beautiful views, will be back
Michael H
What a beautiful piece of architecture. The footpath is super nice and there is even a coffee shop at the top. The views are unparalleled.

New York has few places which offer peace and tranquility amidst hustle bustle of the city. This place is definitely one of them. The night view is outstanding.

Excited to explore the Brooklyn Bridge Park next visit! Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge is a Beautiful scenic short walk a mile or so connects you from Lower East/ Manhattan to Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx Burroughs! If you visit New York, the Brooklyn Bridge is free to walk across and a charge to drive. The walk is breathtaking and a must do for your trip! You just get there and walk across and “Hello Brooklyn” ! Bring water if a hot day! Plan where you want to go in which Burroughs ahead of time. Different days have different events-Foodie fairs, flea markets, Coney Island, The Bronx Zoo or somewhere eclectic to eat or a hole in the wall bar. I will be exploring NY forever so much to see! There is also Williamsburg to explore and another bridge to walk there (in the daytime) or a quick ride from Brooklyn and certain parts of Bed Stuy to explore artsy stores and cafes just a short ride away. Bed Stuy is undergoing gentrification and has some spots you may want to avoid if not familiar many places have now closed ma and pa. Many artists, unfortunately with prices always on the rise have had to move from Brooklyn which now has families in a few million $ homes and expensive places in certain central areas. There is a mix of those who “made it” upper scale and restaurants and cafes and stores, art installations. The old Brooklyn is expensive but still there. Many artists moved from Brooklyn to Williamsburg and now to Bed Stuy they are being priced out of their own neighborhoods! The Jazz artist vibe is still there in Brooklyn just less gritty and not the old genuine Jazz filled plethora of artists. Brooklyn is a much bigger place than you would think! Just plan ahead so you don’t accidentally wander where you are in any crossfire ducking behind cars or behind bushes. I always carry pepper spray and wear a whistle and be confident and aware. Queens is very LGBTQ friendly and a wonderful blend of cultures I am missing in the Midwest! Plan ahead and plan and on taking an Uber, Lyft or a cab once you cross the bridge to your destination of exploration! Daytime is much different from nighttime since the pandemic, plan accordingly especially if you are a woman alone! I would advise to be friendly and I have met some of the most genuine people in random places a smile and an open mind goes a long way! Happy Travels!

Attended a family hangout at the Brooklyn Bridge Park and it was great. One thing I did notice was that there was a worker removing the trash as the bin got full. We really appreciated that, we didn't have to be looking at over flowing trash cans. Very clean, and the Ambience was great. Plan on visiting again.
Michael Fontanez
The best park in Brooklyn NY hands down. It's actually more than a park with all the attractions located there. You can walk, run, exercise, roller skate, play basketball or just have a seat a enjoy the most magnificent skyline in the world while taking in all the fresh air off of the Hudson. A must visit !
Mandy Johnson
My favorite part of the city. I love coming here at night to get the most beautiful view of Manhattan while lounging in Brooklyn. Many nice restaurants in the area also
Fannie Zhao
Great view! I personally recommend coming at night to avoid the crowds. You can get great angles of both the Brooklyn bridge and the Manhattan bridge.
Ellen Vakhnova

Nice rooftop experience. Good .music. (Hip hop, R&B, ) Pay like you weigh! $100 per person minimum spend required Friday - Sunday. Can be used toward purchase of wine by the bottle. Not a lot of shade during sunny days even under the sunbrellas in the seating areas. Dress is cool and casual.
Zaid Ansari
Awesome place to hang out with the family and admire the city views.
Kari McMinn
My absolute favorite park in the whole wide world. I recommend to any friends visiting NYC that this is a great stop. The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy and corporation take such great care of enhancing and preserving this park. I used to live in bklyn heights and would run through the park throughout the year and the landscaping is always being cared for. They keep adding so many new additions to the piers and it’s filled with endless activities and sections to enjoy.

First I'll will probably never walk the Brooklyn bridge again in summer. But the park was a great place to sit and relax after the long walk.
Met my best friend for the first time in person here so it'll always be special to me. I was also happy to see there were plenty of water fountains with a way to refill your water bottle. Bathrooms were nice too. Great view and a beautiful place to potentially have a picnic. I'll definitely have to come back sometime when I can do more though. Good first experience though no real complaints.
Ms Tay
I love walking over this bridge..This is my go to for my exercise..It's even nicer due to bikes not being allowed on the bridge now..Best time to walk, is in the early am to avoid the tourists.
Priscilla Robert
Beautiful place to sit and relax with a breathtaking view of the skyline.
Dustin Hecker
Great views of downtown Manhattan and the East River bridges. Not much going on and not many people when we visited on a Sunday morning in early August. Limited parking, surprise, surprise.
Deija Navarro
Scenic. I came to visit with a friend so I didn't come as a tourist. A lot of good places to take pictures and practice your photography.
Russell Buckley
It's very nice here. Paths for walking, benches for sitting, tables for eating, grills for grilling. Courts and fields for playing. Views for days. Thanks Bloomberg!
Donna Behan-Flores
We walked across the bridge and went to the Brooklyn Bridge Park, there is a water fountain that kids and adults use, basketball, skating, handball. There are amazing views for taking pictures from the park, take the ferry back for a great ride.
Srishti Gupta
Beautiful Manhattan view. Gets pretty crowded in the evening. Nice picnic spot and great barbeque place with friends and family.
Dede McGowan
Very nice u must make a reservation to attend the roof top. In addition there is a parking garage a block away not that expensive more than 6 hours $50. The roof top opens up at 2pm and closes at 10pm lounge opens at 5pm closes at 12pm. The view is beautiful!
Sybille Louis
Beautiful public park with amazing views, great nearby restaurants!
Udeni Leanage
This is a majestic bridge built over the East river in NYC. It’s one of the oldest bridges that opened in 1883. Taking a walk on the bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan offers views of the Manhattan bridge and the awe inspiring Manhattan skyline.
S R
Beautiful place to chill has nice walk trails and beautiful boardwalks!
Sam R
Beautiful park, so many paths to explore, great views of the water and Manhattan
Travis Ramgobin
Absolutely amazing! Breathtaking and serene. The views of the Manhattan skyline, yachts, the river, the Brooklyn bridge and so much more.
Mark Shahon
So calm beautiful and specially all the clean water
Ruben C.Marines
An excellent spot to view the beauty of lower Manhattan 👌 …
Sushmitha Belede
I’d advice not to go here during the cold. It gets super windy here!
CeeJay Pilot
Was there for the fully immersive experience.
Sports courts were abundant and in use on a 🌞 day; signs directing to the bridge were not as clearly marked, but got the general idea of where to go. Though street vendors were of no concern to me, others thought they should be more regulated (their opinion). Absolute breath-taking views of the picturesque skyline; no wonder so many photos are taken from this area.
Solène Mz
Lovely park, with a wonderful view on the bridge. Perfect after a quick lunch at the food court Times Out just near
Vlad Z
This is my favorite park of all five boroughs. The views on Manhattan and especially the bay are spectacular. The sunsets from here are unforgettable. They’ve been extending the park for years so it has now all these different sections with different activities. There’s even one little beach. The little bridge that connects the park with the Brooklyn Heights Promenade is truly magical little path. There are a few food/drink spots. Also many sport activities are organized on the piers.
marina duarte
This park was awesome!! We got invited here to do a party and the venue was truly amazing. Being so close to the bridge, on a hot summer day with the breeze felt perfect. Everyone had a great time and we hope we can party there again soon!
Yusra Shaikh
A great park to spend your afternoon in! We stopped right before sunset and got to enjoy the ambiance as the sun came down! It was crowded but not unbearably. We even saw some wedding/quinceañera photoshoots and a proposal! It's great to walk as well! The trail is not challenging at all and it was very pleasant to walk.
Fabiana Sanfilippo
🤩 Amazing view! 🤩
✔️ Wheelchair Accessible
Beautiful and quiet space, has benches to sit and have a nice time …

Wow! That was an excellent place to walk smoothly on asphalt road and wide sidewalk; it suitable for rides, skates, and walks with your family and friends around you by fresh air and perfect sigh of Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan, also has a good rating restaurant on a vintage boat. I recommended it to everyone who loves relaxation.
Lauren Pascarella
Excellent place for recreational activities. Great place to eat a deli sandwich or picnic while watching the water and sights and city across the way. Not busy, plenty of space and easy walk along the river.

Born & raised in bk. Brooklyn bridge park is really beautiful place to walk, relax and take pictures.
Yoryi Marte
Really nice place to walk, run, do fitness stuff, beautiful views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, East River and the park itself. There are plenty of places to relax, take pictures or just sit down and enjoy the view.
Samuel DiLorenzo
Really cool area to play pickleball, tennis, hoops, and much more
Michele Hill
I learn something new everyday and didn't know you can BBQ down here.
Justin Hayworth
Beautiful waterfront park. Great views in the day and magically lit up at night!
Even as a non-tourist I love walking around this area + DUMBO.
At night the vibes are uber-romantic…definitely a marquee date spot.
Joseph Short
Sitting my week stay i walked across twice, we had ice cream on the other side(both times because I'm a fatty and lost too many calories walking) the paths and park are incredible escapes from the city! Do this in the evening so stunning views of the city. You must enjoy this treasured part of New York history!
Rafaela Louis
Nice Park with a bit of green surroundings in the middle of the city.
Mark Tobar
Beautiful park, definitely a contender for my favorite now. Lots of grassy areas to sit, and a lot of trees for shade. They have volleyball nets, basketball courts, table tennis, fitness, and a skating rink. There is also a barbeque area, and lots of pretty flowers
Kimberley Bailey
The park was beautiful and well kept. Lots of things to do. Okay food choices. Great views and pier 6 has the ferry to Governor's Island
Wanda McCloud
Wide open space with spectacular views. Perfect for picnics, BBQ. walks, runs, biking, skating, and rock climbing. You can even fish. With all that wonderfulness you know, it's also a tourist magnet. But there is always enough space for everyone.
Surya Vijay Singh
Love the vibes of bridge. I just wanna say it just a bridge 🌉 with beautiful view around it. …

Great place to go when you want to relax, walk around, exercise, hangout with friends, picnics, take photos etc. There are grills, basketball courts and more for public use. Parking can be a little tricky but you’ll find a spot eventually. There are a ton of great restaurants on the streets right outside of the park and along the water/ under the bridge. I love this place!
Zachary Norensberg
Great place to rollerblade and rollerskate as well as bike. There are plenty of food places but I recommend bringing your own as a water bottle is 3.50.
ben l
Beautiful view of the downtown NYC skyline. Worth the trek across the river.
Bright Little Stars English Centre
Got some excellent shots in DUMBO and at Pebble beach. I think the main instagram so spot was called Washington Avenue. You’ll have to double check. I’m commenting so I can’t see a map.
% coffee shop is worth a visit too. Great photo spot with the Manhattan bridge.
Liz Day
One of my favorite parks in New York City. Such a spectacular view of the statue of liberty and lower Manhattan, and so many fun nooks and crannies to explore. Perfect length for a nice run too, with bathrooms and water fountains right where you need them. Feels well planned, the mix between green and urban is great!

The park has great views and open playing space, the one thing bothers me is the sewerage smell coming out of the river . All in all great place to visit for awesome pictures and a good hike.

Late night walk.. it was freezing but glad I was able to see the bridge before heading home.. definitely would be a good summer place to visit
Jennifer Kalb
So thrilled to have this lovely natural space right in the harbor to enjoy the sea, birds, butterflies, wild flowers and the terrific harbor views! Tons of recreation facilities for sports, playgrounds, running, picnicking, boating, etc for those so inclined. Just a beautiful achievement!
Winfred Mitchell
Great views of Lower Eastside, South Street Seaport Manhattan and the Battery Park area. Loads of restaurants and ice cream shops. Lots of activities and places to just chill.
Angie R
Really wonderful place to be, there are so many places to sit comfortably, with lots of trees and bushes along the waters edge, you can take a nice stroll. If you don't mind walking a lot then this is definitely a place to check out. The Brooklyn bridge is close by and the views are incredible, very friendly people.
Chrystal Caruthers
Beautiful park worth exploring. It's great to see the iconic bridge up close. I wish we had time to walk/jog across but the drive is beautiful too. You can feel the energy change as you cross into Manhattan. The park itself is wide open offering the best skyline views imaginable. This park a selfie backdrop moment waiting to happen! There's also a museum and lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
Patryk Janowski
Amazing views of the financial district, recommended by locals as their favourite part of the city. Have to see the stunning views. Try to go during the evening whilst it's still day time and watch the sky turn as the sun sets. Seeing the transition into night time and all the lights turning on is incredible.
Maryam Mansoor
lovely lovely place with a view of brooklyn bridge and worth seeing!
Nadia Ford
Nice and large park with fantastic views. Public restrooms, too. Good location for a family outing or a large group gathering.
Savi Bhat
Beautiful place in the middle of the city. There are certain places which are less crowded and overlooking the Manhattan Bridge. Sunsets are beautiful around here. Nice place to chill during late afternoon hours. Nearby there are many art stalls, shopping, events and all.
Vivian Ourazouk
Awesome views. You can see the Statue of Liberty 🗽 from a distance. Great promenade. Some restaurants and ice cream stores. …

This park offers amazing views of the city and lots of stuff to do. There are a few restaurants you could go to, which are nearby the park. Some parts of the park, like playgrounds, are closed due to the pandemic but should reopen in a few days or weeks. Any time is the perfect time for a walk. If you want to bike, there’s a Citi Bike dock nearby and dedicated bike lanes. I wouldn’t recommend going on car, because parking is a nightmare. It’s easier to get there by taking the NYC Ferry but the A and C subway lines can be found a few blocks away.
atul sharma
I had a great experience here. It was a bright sunny day and there was a fair crowd on the bridge. The views from the bridge were stupendous and I would recommend everyone to take a walk across the entire length of the bridge. You don't come across such architectural marvels everyday. Also, being from India, once you visit such places it gives you a lot of joy when you witness such places in cinema or otherwise. It makes you feel nostalgic and remember the good times you spent at that place.
Isabelle Tran
Lovely place to spend the evenings at, watching the sunset and Manhattan light up.
There is a playground for kids, and a carousel too (but it wasn’t open when we visited). Also has a cafe and bar.
Perfect place for photographers capturing the Brooklyn bridge.
However, we had difficulty finding toilets - we ended up going to the nearby hotel.
Richard McClincy
Beautiful promenade and Vista to walk along and view the Manhattan skyline, Liberty Island, and all the activity along and above the East River.

This is a new Brooklyn's gem! I remember this area 10 years ago and it was nothing! Now it is the place to be! Especially if the weather permitting. Perfect place for a romantic walk with a significant other, or for a date. These area has everything: dining, shopping and sightseeing, a lot of sightseeing! If you haven't been there yet, you definitely should check this area out, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful views! I absolutely loved it. Now during covid is a great time to visit. It wasn't a lot of people. It had a beach area and plenty of walk ways. Plus some rocks you can climb for photos. Very clean and safe area with the lights.
Elad Silberring
Amazing view of Manhattan and the water as well as the boats.not a lot of games and mostly for kids age 3 and under.there are a couple of swings and a mini slide. a better place would be the basketball court where you can bring a scooter or a ball and the kid will have more fun
Siddhartha Ranjan
Must visit during a New York visit. A great place for walks, jog along the water. Also is a great place for roller skating. You can even have the blades on rental of 7 USD at the kiosk. There is also a wall of lockers that can be used. Could be great weekend wandering or go fishing. Lot of benches and picnic tables, and lot of places to have great lunch. The walk at the bridge is also great with Brooklyn at one end and Manhattan on the other. The park is beautiful any time of the year and perfect photographer's delight.
Nadine Jean Baptiste
I love this place for my daughter and her friends to play. So many options to choose from. Very easy to get here . Clean and always have cops to protect every and any one at any time. You feel safe. A good place for family fun and one on one also. Water. Parks, boats, piers, etc

Brooklyn Bridge Park is an 85-acre (34 ha) park on the Brooklyn side of the East River in New York City. Designed by landscape architecture firm Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, the park is located on a 1.3-mile (2.1 km) plot of land from Atlantic Avenue in the south, under the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and past the Brooklyn Bridge, to Jay Street north of the Manhattan Bridge. From north to south, the park includes the preexisting Empire–Fulton Ferry and Main Street Parks; the historic Fulton Ferry Landing; and Piers 1–6, which contain various playgrounds and residential developments. The park also includes Empire Stores and the Tobacco Warehouse, two 19th-century structures, and is a part of the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway, a series of parks and bike paths around Brooklyn

This place is a really good place for tourist's and to get some real majestic pics of the great NYC!... its also good for exercise, picnic's and more. I go here all the time so i definitely recommend you go here if you haven't already. Also in case you want directions, take the Manhattan bound 1-2 train and get off at Clark st and just ask around or use google maps. Its literally a 5 min walk maybe less from the station. GO THERE! YOU WONT REGRET IT!
Phyllis Weaver
It was a very nice park right off the dock of the ferry and water taxi system. There is a little play area for younger children that is all fenced off just in case you have a wonder you don't really have to worry your child will get out. There are benches to sit on to beat the heat and grass areas if you choose to sunbathe. There is a beautiful carousel in the park as well and the boardwalk with the most spectacular view of New York City. Also while you're there you might be lucky enough to see a proposal or two.
Stefan Trotman
Great place to kick it on the lawn and enjoy a summer day especially in the evening as the sun is setting, it’s a great spot for watching the sun go down behind the skyline. A great view of both bridges as well and you’re near to a few restaurants.
Armando Campos
This place is incredible at any point of any season. It's a great place for a photographer, professional or not. You can take hundreds of pictures of the same thing and you will always get a different picture every time. Such a beautiful place with many different locations to take pictures of.
Nissan Lamusicano
A narrow, little friendly place which is invisible if you're 30 seconds away because it's lower than the street, plus right now there's some construction around it. Very relaxing for hanging out or walking. The view is stunning.
Bhuvana Plakkot
I like the night view from Dumbo.
Shraddha Gaikwad
This is a nice place to walk around, explore the park.. Great view of NYC skyline and Brooklyn bridge.. If you visit the New York city this is the spot you would like to see.. Highly recommended..
Joseph Thachil
Well, there's no shortage of words to describe this absolute beast of a monument. Contrary to the pictures everyone posts from up on it, I'm opting to post pictures from night below and around it. Be it romantic, memorable, jaw dropping, be it anything Brooklyn bridge delivers. I'll let the professionals and the photogenics post pictures from up top, while I'll give those who prefer aesthetics a view of what they could click. Banger of a place and if you're up for it, you could even dip your feet or hands in the chilling waters at night. This is the place to be at!
Ron Frumkin
Beautiful park and scenery towards Manhattan. Excellent park for leisure, to relax from the noise of the city.
Martin Kalwill
Is my to go spot do bring my Kosmos LED hoop and Juggling Balls and Clubs from Flow Juggle and juggle when it gets dark. You have everything and is right by the water, if you don't like it just hump up on a ferry and show up somewhere else. Don't take my word for it, check it out or look at the pictures.
Lorenzo Segui
This is a go to spot to take anyone that is coming to visit from out of state. It's also a great spot for a 1st date followed up by the Bk heights Promenade, then, some drinks and eats.

An excellent place to spend your day. Evenings are exquisite as the day light fade and the city lights take over . Calm serene river and the breeze makes it romantic.

Brooklyn Bridge Park has to be my favorite park in NYC. It’s so beautiful to go for a walk or do a picnic. The views at night are amazing.

Had a wonderful production on pier 2 promoting BTS art installation! The park staff was very helpful with our crew and super friendly. Vary small town feel for a big city park. Absolutely beautiful place!

Beautiful views of the city from the piers. I just wish they had a designated area where smokers can go. I was walking around with my kids and I swear it was non stop cigarette smoke everywhere I went 🤮 …

If you want a relaxing day with your spouse or family wow this place is awesome loved every second I was there with my wife wow it was amazing the ice cream was good the scenery was the best I ever saw of new york thing to do there is rent a bike, kayak, all type of sport and the even have a sand part to play volleyball. I can't believe how nice also the other nice part everyone weared a mask. No one was rude and alot of Police Officers so it felt really safe you will love it there. There free parking if you get there early street parking and there are garage to park to I paid 40 buck but it was worth the 40 dollar.
Mark Adams
Great spot for a stroll along the waterfront, there's even a pebble beach. Very noisy under the Manhatten Bridge so you might not want to linger in that part much longer than the time it takes to get a photo. Walk towards the Carousel and there's a few waterfront eateries and the new Time Out Food Market.
udip ranjit
Best view of downtown esp. at night with all the structures lit up! The piers are a great place to hang out and take in the view. A bit of construction going on currently (july 2019) around the park but other than that still worth a visit
Nicole Jeanremy
This place just keeps getting better and better. Scenic views plenty of seating . The only problem is no parking unless you are ready to pay an arm and leg , $50 bucks for the day OUCH! My family comes to BBP to get the Ferry to Governors Island so we don't stay long at the park but they have so much at the park especially for little ones.
Nathan Noland
I have watched this park go from an industrial wasteland to what it is today and I’ve loved every minute. I walk here a lot to get my steps in. It has amazing views, pretty landscapes, good people watching. You can’t beat it and it’s next to Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights, two of the most photogenic hoods in nyc.

Usually when I go with family and friends as tourist to the Brooklyn part of the Brooklyn bridge we ended up in Dumbo (normal) but we walked until the park nearby and the view from the board bridge or stairs is beautiful!
S. Stokes
Love everything about the way Brooklyn Bridge Park is structured except the fact that transportation is so far away.Dont even bother driving down close to the park, there's barely parking and its metered. The city really needs a shuttle or something.🙄The skating rink right next to the basketball is great for the kids and the teens. …

Make sure you visit if you in the area.
Views are beautiful.
Trail will guide you!

It has been my go-to place on Sunday mornings. Whether I want to clear my head with the breeze and open sky or play basketball and have fun, this place provides everything. I wish it's somewhere with much easier access but oh well it's worth the long walk from the train indeed
Eeraj Qaisar
What a great location to walk, enjoy the views of the NYC skyline across the water including the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and City Hall. Lush green lawns, plenty of seating, restrooms and miles of walking, hiking, running trails. Great food nearby, so you won't starve. A must do.

Brooklyn Bridge Park is definetley a favorite place of mine. Such an enjoyable area to spend a day either hanging out on the grass, walking & running. There are bbq pits & benches that you can have a get together or celebrate a special occasion. They also have basketball, volleyball, paddleball courts & rollerskating as well ! You can keep yourself busy in this area, go walk the Brooklyn Bridge too ! The view from there is simply amazing !!
Jennipher Joyce Verna
I really enjoyed my time here. It was crowded but it didn't feel like people were on top of each other. The place is huge with beautiful views of the water. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because parking was terrible. The parking garage was full and on street parking was difficult to find. It looks like the city took away some of the street parking as well so that is where my disappointment stems from. (Someone that lives near there told me if you come in the morning parking is easier to find.) Other than that inconvenience it was quite enjoyable. They have biking and basketball courts and picnic tables. A place where you can spend the day with your family and be quite pleased.
Wendell Beach
Great place to take in view fresh air relax, public restroom small food and sitting area bring your dog to dog park had a great time
Zalia's Trips
Beautiful park with great views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the NYC skyline. The area is easily accessible from the metro and has a few places to eat also. The park has a couple of grassy meadows to relax in while taking in the views or you can rest on one of the many benches in the shade. There was also a place to rent kayaks.
One negative was that there were signs prohibiting dogs in the meadows but no one seemed to care.
Rekha Gauchan
My most favourite place in New york city. The iconic brooklyn bridge & manhattan bridge, the river, the ferry, the sunset and the city lights at night are just wow. Always blows my mind no matter how many time I witness it. I can stay there forever watching the beauty. I just love this city. Forget all your worries and sit here. Find peace 😊
Sneh Patel
Great place to see Manhattan skyline. I was there on 4th of July to see Fireworks. It's awesome. If you planing to go there to see Fireworks go 2 to 3 hours ago.
Samantha Sile
Really nice walk with a wide and pen views of Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge. Walk all the way along both sides. Places to sit in the grass a big sports area with rollerskating, basketball, handball, a kids playground.
alice lam
Did the free kayak experience from Pier 2! Super friendly volunteers. They give you a life jacket and help you get in to the kayak. You get to be in the river for 20 mins. It’s a beautiful view of Manhattan and the Brooklyn bridge. Note: you do not get to bring your bag or purse with you but you can choose to leave it with the volunteers or rent a locker for 25 cents.

We enjoyed this area so much after having visited Dumbo. Explore the sweeping vistas and expansive piers in this waterfront park! There is something to do for everyone. Families, couples, groups of friends, people skating and cycling, walking their pets.... and the best: jaw-dropping views of the Manhattan skyline.
Michael Connor
SOMETHING VERY GOOD
happened to New York’s waterfronts during the last several decades, and this bay-front wonderland is part of it. Wander amid greenery and sea air and gawk at vistas long reserved for decrepit docks, and thank government dreamers who planned these treasures as long ago as the 1970s or earlier. Bureaucrats know how to play the long game. Thank you.
Millie Mardahay
The view is stunning. Enjoy Brooklyn promenade, access to the Brooklyn Bridge and NYC ferries
Carol Rice
I took my sister and her husband on Free Tours by Foot over the Brooklyn Bridge!! Our guide Jon was such a fantastic tour guide!! He gets 5 Stars from us!!....we walked the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Heights, and DUMBO. The historic brownstones, promenade, and DUMBO were so interesting and the parks are luscious and beautiful. Awesome sights!! Thankful for this beautiful day...about 3.5 to 4 hours....well worth your time!!!!!
Max Tsalko
I love this place. Best View over lower Manhattan. It's the ideal place for a romantic evening, a friend date, hang time with family and or friends. Has a picnic BBQ area, benches, multiple sports fields and outdoor lounging opportunities. Luke's lobster roll are great.
Drew Mclaren
Interesting short walk along the shore. Situated near DUMBO with children's play area and nearby restaurants.

Nights like this I wish that “Rain Drops ☔️ would fall” 🎶🎶 🎶 beautiful place to watch the moon or stars ✨ …

Probably a good idea to come down on the early side so it's not too crowded. The views are postcard worthy and you'll see lots of wedding photographers, student photographers and fashion photographers working with models and trying to get the right light.
Lisa Tilson
Enjoyed a fun day at the park watching Wimbledon at pier 6, hope they make this a yearly tradition!
Rion Haber
Went rollerskating at the rink and it was a lot of fun. Great view if the water. The roller skating rink floor is a little wonky though and the rink itself is small. Otherwise, a great experience.
Jia Ling Lin Huang
Nice park next to the waterfront. Ideal for afternoons walking and chill out there.
Phil
Beautiful place to stroll around, enjoy the NYC skyline.... Fantastic place. If you are in NYC this is a must visit place.
R H
The most scenic place at night in New York. Dumbo Fulton Ferry will be the best spot. You may take a small boat cruise.
Tape Dave
Awesome place to visit when in the big city. Trails for walking, biking, running. Meadows for birding and for kids tumbling down hills.
Laurian Ciobanu
The bridge is very nice, still crowdy with plenty of people. The best pictures of it could be obtained from Manhattan Bridge, near it.
charm mujdzic
Came to watch the 4th of July fireworks for the very 1st time in NY and I am so happy to have an amazing experience! It's not my 1st time in NY but I never saw a real spectacular fireworks show like this one here in NYC.. normally I am home in FL and watching 4th of July fireworks in Walt Disney World at Epcot.
Brooklyn Bridge Park has a good vantage point for this years fireworks hosted by Macy's. I think the park will also be a beautiful picnic spot for family gatherings and friends alike. You have a great vantage point to watch the sunset and also have that great shot of Lower Manhattan! as you can see the major NY skycrapers are beautiful at dawn and more when all the lights are on! You can pinpoint the World Trade Center and Empire State buildings.
The only issue I had coz I came on a special event, 4th of July, they had a very uptight security and barricades are set up around the park and it was a long walk from the subway before coming to this spot, at pier 3. Other than that, it's a great park! I would highly recommend people to come here.
Seth Silverton
A thoughtful and transformative use of Brooklyn's waterfront space. As well conceived for this period in history as was Prospect and Central Parks were for their time. NYC has flourished over recent years in no small part due to projects like this. Great Job NYC Parks!
Carly LeDroux
Such a beautiful spot for engagement photos. I met this couple at DUMBO for their engagement session and walked around this park and then headed to Coney Island. The carousel is one of my favorite parts!
ABHISHEK N L
a beautiful skyline view !
Recommended Timings:
would recommend to visit late evenings around sunset time.
Parking:
There is one metered parking with very limited spots available on the Furman Street just before the turn towards Montague St.

Amazing views over Manhattan.
The park is between the bridges and the views of the city very impressive.
The service offer is also very good with a lot of facilities and food options.
mouhamadou sambe
Outstanding view of the NYC skyline, it looks very nice and very green. Good for kid and pets.
michelle gonzalez
Absolutely beautiful..so much to do around the park too. Stunning views of NYC skyline. You can ride bike, walk, sit relax..my 4 yr old son enjoyed the water lab. It's small with a sprinklers refreshing for kids.
Jerry Philip
Great at night to capture city lights
Samantha Adam
Amazing views! Went at night, attempted to have a picnic. Sounds great right? Except the nasty NY RATS wouldn't let us enjoy. They and yes a few RATS tried to picnic with us! Uncomfortable and nasty to say the least. Go for the views, take some great pics and get outta there!!
Chrissy G.
Loved it, lived in Brooklyn my whole life and this was my first time. If you love people watching and taking amazing pictures this is the place. Lots of activity but not too crowded. Places to eat close by.
Amy Watson Sanchez Cuoq
Great for people watching, no matter the weather or time of day. I've always preferred the views of Manhattan from this location more than any other, with Long Island City a close second.
The shopping and arts have really begun to flurish again with the repurposing of St. Ann's Warehouse, luxury highrises and shopping.
The park is a popular place for weddings, fashion photography and influencers as well as tourists and locals. But it is first and foremost one of our many beautiful parks and landmarks where we run, play, climb and explore with our families and pets. Respect that first and you will help us keep this iconic beauty for generations to come.
Daniel Kalmann
Come and tour the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges and , Brooklyn Heights, Red Hook, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Dumbo, Chinatown, Little Italy on a guided bike tour with Unlimited Biking! Best experience ever!
Tanya P.
Perfect place to spend your summer evenings, bunch of activities and things to do
Alex Hall
Great location to watch the sunset. The food stands close a bit early so make sure you grab something before the sun goes down.
Vanessa Martinez
Great view and so many spots to relax in the shade! Great path as well to walk along and plenty of photo opportunities.
Daniela Salmon
One of my favorite places in New York. Best View over lower Manhattan. Always a pleasure to walk over it to Manhattan. Not by bike though. Then you'll always stumble upon tourists who don't know how to walk on the pedestrians side. Definitely a landmark you shouldn't miss when you travel to New York City.
luis hernandez
Very nice park i went like 11pm it felt very safe.
Kevin Castrillon
From dog walking to sight seeing to running or biking. This place has loads to do. Mid pricey food items inside and around the park. Boats park near by and their is a huge soccar field too.
Sandie Green
Love the different art displays along with the water front scenery. Very relaxing.
max ross
This is our go to park! Beautiful scenery and atmosphere...Take a stroll through the garden on the dock as well, takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Cheers🍻 …
Emily N
A great view of the Manhattan skyline. Lots of benches and places to hang out
TheBeardedHippie
This is a Beautiful Bridge, if you ever visit NYC please make this one of your bucket list to take photos. It can get crowded but when you wall towards the middle of the bridge they have engravements of the years the bridge was built. These pictures of the bridge and the view i took doesnt not do it justice. :)
Renee Muir
This park has everything you could want to spend the day having fun! Beautiful views, soccer, kayaking, rock climbing, skating and lots of food options.
Kris Hadis
The best spot to enjoy the view of New York City icons, the downtown and midtown skyscrapers, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge. At night time it becomes much more magical with all the city lights. We always visit this place every time we are in New York City. Don't forget to enjoy the ice cream in the ice cream factory....
P Hen
This is a beautiful park! There is a walking path along the water with nice places to sit. We even found a very nice bathroom near the old docks. There is a lot of well maintained landscaping and some additional walking paths. We spent the better part of a day walking and enjoying our time. Finished off our visit with lunch at Shake Shack
Britni
I had my sons birthday in this park and got engaged here as well will always be a favorite of mine.
Daniel Dominguez
Absolutely wonderful experience and view. A must do when going to the Brooklyn Bridge.
Peter Zeitz
Best park to play soccer / all sports by the water! Nice bike ride too
Rene Obando
What a great job!!!
I used to go to this park some years ago and always loved the view but it seemed to be so many things to do to improve the experience...
Well, now they did it, it is such a pleasant experience to be there and find out that the park has been fully renovated with so many great surprises to the visitors, stops in the perfect places to enjoy amazing views, integration with the river, the sound of the water on the stones, that are right under your feet...
It is beautiful, just beautiful. Well done to the City of Brooklyn for this great renovation!!!
Gunnar Klensang
Nice view, nice environment. More shadow space would be great
Nick Steffens
Great place to throw sticks in front of roller bladers. There are a lot of good hiding spots where you can throw a stick and not even have anyone know where it came from. Views are good I guess too
Stephen Cull
Great find and convenient clean public bathroom nearby
Giovanny Herrera
Great and wonderful place for visit, maybe mandatory to go, incredibly landscapes for a perfect pics and see the phenomenal Manhattan at the other side, from the zero zone to the incredible Empire State Building, the Brooklyn spectacular bridge really I recommend for visit
Libby Pollak
Brooklyn Bridge park is a lovely park. You can walk or see the Brooklyn Bridge, it has the beautiful waterfront, and lawns with plenty of grass and space for picnics.
What often brings me to the park are events such as Thursday night summer movies, musical performances, kayaking and rollerblading. Most events are free! Be sure to check out what this place has to offer.
The only disadvantage is the location from trains- a bit of a walk. Oh and food is very expensive in the area too as it's dumbo!
Vaibhav Athare
Best time to visit Brooklyn Bridge is ofcourse the sunset. Make your way from Manhattan to Brooklyn as the Sun starts to set. On your way back you can watch Manhattan getting lit up. One can see stunning views of the financial district area, the Freedom Tower, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan Bridge and the east river. There are some places in the middle of the bridge where you sit on benches.
Safety tip - keep on the Walking side as many cyclists go at high speed.
Eddie Cheaz
It's got the best romantic views of Manhattan skyline. Great variety of activities including kayaking, places to eat and drink, lots of outside places to relax or enjoy sports.
Mary Basta
I love this park . Always fun to go for a walk ,grab coffee and sit there. There is Seats everywhere. Alot of food options around. Great scenery and perfect spot for pictures.
Anita Principe
Beautiful place to hang out. The views were amazing. Nice place to visit 💯💯💯 …
Janatan Murray
That is considered to be one of my favorite places. Why? It's simple - because it has everything to please your soul. The atmosphere is incredible. I can really rest here from the noise town. Carrousels for you children? Places to eat? Places to rest? Sure, you will find it here.
Kyoung-Sae Na
It's substantly nice place to have a rest and some light activities in the green regions. Ipersonally prefer this park to the Central park due to the stunning view of the lower Manhattan and relatively slackness.
Calden Ball
Love the food options, as well as the different attractions/ameneties located within the park! A great place to get a good view of the statue of liberty and of Manhattan's iconic buildings.
Abdullah AlBiladi
Fantastic location to have a look at the central NYC “Manhattan”. We enjoyed a nice walk by the sunset and the kids enjoyed the playground. The restrooms were closed which was the only downside about this place.
D. Lo
A gorgeous park with amazing views of lower Manhattan! Perfect for sunsets. Many restaurants and bars. The views are just beautiful! Gorgeous carousel for kids and the young at heart!
Soletecuenta
While in a tour, we stopped for a while here. A must visit definitely! You'll take amazing photos and really cool view on New York downtown buildings.
Liz Wilson
Absolutely loved the view and experience in this local hangout. If you have the time, go see Brooklyn, walk the park below both bridges, the Promenade and head across the Brooklyn Bridge -- you'll be happy you did. Views that are incredible and you'll meet locals that become friends like we did!
Nesim Solmaz
Did you know that all lawns, beds, and trees at Brooklyn Bridge Park are managed organically? No pesticides or harmful chemicals used. Soil is treated with compost teas and organic matter, and lawn clippings are reused to encourage deep root growth. This not only makes for healthy plants and landscapes, but also attracts birds, butterflies, and other life to this once industrial area.

My go too location for relaxation. If you are visiting New York definitely tour around this location. Also head to Empire store just close to the Brooklyn BridgePark, it has a lovely rooftop open to the public
Abhishek Bhat
A nice park for an evening walk or jog. Lot of pickcle ball courts. Awesome view of the skyline and the bridge
Urša Cehner
Absolutely worth a stroll, but take a good sandwich at Luke’s lobster before heading off along the newly made park. Its a long walk but relaxing and non touristic if you pass to the left direction.
Kiannah Smiley
I frequent this area often and it never disappoints. BPB has something for everyone, if you want tranquility it's literally hidden gems all over the area. If you want food, even during a pandemic you can get it. Aesthetically pleasing is an understatement.
Daniel Cortes
It was great. You can relax for a while and just chill out while watching the sunset in summer. Great place to meet cool people.
CarlaSofia Teixeira-Fleming
Great destination for families to spend quality time outdoors. Tons of space for relaxing and enjoying the sights and sounds of this great outdoor park.
Aya Ogawa
Such a great waterfront park with lots to do. Biking, water park, slides, swings and sand, beach volley ball, soccer, basketball, roller/ice skating, and lots of peaceful books for a romantic picnic or alone time with a book. Great park for all. Pretty good vendors for pizza, ice cream etc too.
Moshe Weiss
Nice place to sit and chill, also pretty good parking
Jennifer Humphrey
Nice place to play basketball, rollerskate, and have a BBQ. You can enjoy the scenic views looking at the Manhattan skyline or catch a boat to Governor's Island.
Kendrea Scotland
So many activities to do over here whether it's basketball or roller blading to embracing the beautiful sights of statue of liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. Great for the whole family!

If you are in New🗽York City. I highly recommend visiting the DUMBO area of Brooklyn👍and Brooklyn bridge park. The views are amazing. The various foods, restaurants and overall atmosphere is Soooo positive✌and amazing as well. It's Child friendly👍in deed. A really cool carousel is there. 👮♂️Safety 1st👮♀️is a👍, but do be vigilant👀. Also with a short walk along the river👉(Street) Northward👈 and you will come across a Really nice park for KIDS👍. I guarentee the visit to the DUMBO area will be a memorable experience for you. As it was for me yesterday on July💥4th 2019. It was AWESOME!!!. I highly suggest you make it part of your plan. Enjoy & be🙏blessed😊. ✌
Tami
Its one of the must visit nyc place. Every time i go there i feel this peacefulness inside. Best time to go is right before sunset. Sitting there watching the sunset is so peaceful and calming. The sunset at Brooklyn bridge park is one of my favorites
ISLA VERDE RENTALS P.O.C. NILSA PEREZ
Espectacular views, don’t leave NY without spending the sunset in the Brooklyn bridge park, the Dumbo neighborhood, take the famous photo from Water and Washington street and finish the night crossing the Brooklyn Bridge! Bring your phone with full battery, you will need it for the photos!
Yesenia Pazos
Nice place for a beautiful walk, take pictures, nice restaurants, fair prices, not crowd at all, just make sure that you are vaccinated because no one wears a mask.
Sabi N
Must see! A beautiful place to visit, particularly during twilight hours, with a great view of the skyline and also the Brooklyn Bridge. You only have to stroll for a few minutes to get onto the Brooklyn Bridge. Public parking may be difficult, it may be best to come via public transit. Alternatively you can park at private parking lots but you may have to pay at least 30-40$ for a few hours.
Shamilah F
excellent collection of things to see and do for free. Smorgasburg happens here spring Sundays. there's also food here occasionally besides. there's parking near the park, but it's all paid. try parking on the upper level there's another cute boardwalk there overlooking this park. this place has great views of downtown Manhattan day and night and great place for picnics and barbeques. there's a little sandpit, and it's so photogenic. there's a soccer field, basketball court, play structure, ($2.50) carousel, ice cream, sometimes art exhibits, a water park on pier 7 for the youngins. honestly it's all around CUTE and free. a good time year round. good job on this one, NYC.
Geovana Gaitan
If you visit NYC and do not go to the Brooklyn Bridge and the park on Dumbo you are doing something wrong and you didn’t really visit NY.
On the north side of the park right next to the carrusel you have the perfect spot for a nice romantic picnic. On the other side there is a delicious lemonade stand. Get the hall &half.
Beautiful place to take pictures.
Veronica Angelina
One of my favorite parks in Brooklyn. Great views of the city and river. Plenty of shady areas to relax. There's also restaurants and the Brooklyn museum located in one of the refurbished warehouses. Great to see how abandoned piers and shoreline are repurposed in an urban environment
Vladimir
One of my favorite places to visit. It's unfortunately crowded, best time to visit is during winter. The snow adds an extra layer of beauty.
Viajando con Mercedes
This Bridge is amazing, the view from the water is beautiful, you can go and spend some quality time w friends . We went to spend a nice afternoon . Calm , relax Day.

A piece of peace within city life. Love to just wander and see what a big city lives and breathe like. Very good place for meditation.

Love the view from here, I could easily sit and walk here all day to soak the view! I came here both times during day & evening, the views were both stunning!
Bruce Taylor
Oh so cool. It was a beautiful sunny day and I was doing some photography and shot some pictures along the waterfront. Great place to relax.
sonali kapoor
Breathtaking view. I go sometimes at dawn, the view is superb. Love to see the skyline
Ranjan Goswami
We climbed the cliffs at dumbo. The staff was awesome, the climbs were pretty good. The area was kept clean and other climbers were all courteous.

The park is hidden next to the side of the bridge freeway. It is next to the water. The ball courts are plenty. Here you can play basketball, hand ball, rollerblade, rollerskate, fish, see birds, jog, watch boats and do many other fun activities.
Laura
Brooklyn has changed so much, in a positive way. The park had lovely aspects but maybe I didn’t get to see all of it. The nicest part is that it felt very safe there and there are so many interesting things to see in that area of Brooklyn
thuthi abey
Good walk! You can see the statue of liberty from here.
Camille Edwards
It's a great place to spend the day with the kids. The workout equipment are all broken(I think play equipment for the kids would've been better) I've never seen anyone actually use them for their intended purposes, the kids just play on them. There's a skating rink for a price, basket ball and the like. There used to be a pool, but, it's closed for 2019 to be reopened in 2020 (or so I was told by one of the workers there). Also, they're are water taxis and a ferry there that goes to queens that is the best ride ever! (Or so my kids say) because it goes really fast and all for the price of a subway ride.
Scott Jakubowski, CM
Beautiful place to walk. Has stairs and ramps for all access options and a bathroom. Great viewing at night
Agustin Ignacio Rossi
Amazing point with an outstanding view of all Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge!
No doubts that on my next visit to New York I’ll good there again and spend a day having a picnic on that park! Fantastic!
I suggest to go there and then cross the bridge, I have no doubts that you are going to love it!
JOY YAU
Nice park and so cool to have a stunning view for two historical bridges in one time.
Andre Maruska
Excellent place to take pictures from different perspective of the bridges. Cool place to rest through all the walks
Vickie Musni
Great place to take in the scenery, especially near sunset. We had walked around a lot and this was a beautiful place to rest and even grab a snack from the carts nearby.
Tim
Beautiful park that starts in Dumbo Brooklyn from the north and goes through Bk heights, cobble hill etc. the designers added varying levels of terrain, parhways, along with a surprisingly eclectic array of plants and flowers. Lots of sporting activities for adults and kids along the piers
Kwata young
The view is amazing. It's a great date spot any time of the year
Hover_Things
Very nice to look at the bridge(s). The only reason its not 5 stars is the amount of garbage that is around the area. There is also a smell, but it's New York City so I cant complain.
Malky Rabinowitz
I come here a lot with my friend. They recently redid the entire park and it is just breathtaking. There are a lot of private areas to relax. I like the architecture. I especially enjoyed the flowers that they planted all over. They smell really good. There is a beautiful view overlooking the skyline of Manhattan. Limited parking.
Nikolai Geißler
Fantastic view towards downtown
Dilpreet Singh
Always fun to visit this area. Great views of the bridge and the NYC. Lots of good places to eat in the area. You can always find one or the exhibition nearby as well. Parking can be hard to find, there are couple of garages nearby. Fun place to spend a afternoon.
Gerardo Martín Hernandez
Very nice place and out of the beaten path.
Madeline Dilan
A place you must visit. The view is breathtaking. Friendly atmosphere. What history...
Skin Care South
One of the if not the nicest park in the 5 borrows of NYC
Plenty of walking, grass, views of the city downtown, and lady liberty. The East River is pleasant to watch as the boats go by.
Lot of attention to detail by the parks services. The Brooklyn heights and dumbo areas are also very pleasant for strolling and doing as well as high end hotels and businesses
Michelle Francois
One of the most beautiful and amazing outdoor spaces in Brooklyn. From the views of lower Manhattan, the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, the art displayed along the walkways, the sports amenities on the piers, ample seating, and well kept grounds to the restaurants within walking distance. There's something here for everyone to enjoy. Cute date spot. Come for a picnic, stay for a sunset stroll. Anytime the weather permits this park will always be a great choice. At almost any point along the park is an amazing backdrop, so take pictures and savor the moment!
Brandi Toole
As a wedding and engagement photographer, I love when my couples decide to have portraits in the park. The views can't be beat! Photos by Brandi Toole Photography
Monique Frett
This is a nice place for pics and to sit and chill out. I went to one part of the park(the .Main street section). They also have a rooftop park, another great place for pics. It's nice. There are restaurants there. I didn't realize the park extends further south. It's an extensive park.
Ping Vuong
A wonderful walk under 50F
Mandi Gardener
I've been to NYC and seen most of the sites, but I lived it here. It was less congested and a different way to see most of the sites from one spot.
Kassidy Stewart
The park is always lovely, usually very well-maintained, and a nice place to stop and relax away from the bustling city streets. In the spring and summer there are many flowers blooming and lots of greenery so it is a popular place for photographers to stage their sessions. If you’re a tourist it is a very nice place to get a look at the Manhattan skyline and the surrounding Dumbo area always has many things to do for fun!
Sanjida Priti
It’s one of my fAv evenings spot cause of the water wave , soooo soothing
Minerva Hernandez
Love coming here this time of the year. The views are great! There are ao many different places to eat, so I believe anything that you're craving you will definitely find it in Dumbo.

We went to the Old Pier 1 at Brooklyn Bridge Park to take pictures of the financial district skyline. Fantastic place to take long shutter speed images with your dslr. Posting some cell phone images to get a general idea.

This view was beautiful. A place to sit, relax & take it all in. I plan to frequent here often 😊 …
Dave Shal
Great place for a proposal, relax, walk and spend some quality time with great views and nearby restaurants and bars. A bit smelly streets but it's the big city smell lol.
Pedro Sorto III
I try to go to Brooklyn Bridge Park every day. It’s a great place for running, biking, sitting, walking, and even barbecue! This is a MUST for any visitor and resident and the area is continuing to grow and develop!

A very nice place to sit and relax at any time of the day. I have been there early in the morning and late in the evening as well and loved it both the times.
360 Outing (360 Outing)
Just an adorable place for everyone looking to some harmonious great time spending. Family, friends, or any event could be started here. The park is awesome for a promenade. This place has some great views, backgrounds for those looking to capture some memories. Also the place is great for its location, cozy restaurants around (not going to name, see it for yourself 😉). You can easily bump into a celebrity here. In summer or fall season you can bump into some movie scenes being filmed here. Check some of my shots from this area.
Dimples S (부-인)
Lovely park, sheltered so perfect for picnics on hoy days. Close to the water so you keep cool. Lots to do. There's Brooklyn Ice cream factory closeby or have a water taxi ride. Walk and look at the Manhattan skyline or Brooklyn bridge.
There are restaurants closeby if you're hungry. A fun day for all.
The iconic Watchtower sign and time is missing. It's a short walk to Downtown Brooklyn for shopping.
Rita Ladany
Food was almost great. It was so cold in there that the food wasn't hot forong at all. The chef and waitress excellent.
Ruslan Stets
The park itself is nice! Good play to bring kids to play. There is also Cafe opened near the beach courts, as of 8/25/20. You can grub some salad, sandwiches or pizza there, as well as alcohol drinks. The volleyball courts, though, are getting too crowded in afternoons. If you want to get a game, you might need to wait for over an hour, depending on days.
Krunal Jayswal
Amazing cost line mind blowing construction and the water😍. Best place in New York to chill. It is very cold out there always so get covered before you go and enjoy. The cafe near it looks so amazing in night as they do lighting and stuff must try. …
Jan Freundt
It is worth the walk. It takes about half hour to cross. Take the subway to Brooklyn and begin your walk from there after visiting Dumbo, which has the best view of the bridge
Studio Catz
Of the face of reimagined New York City.
Not a perfect choice for a hot day, but still very nice and inspiring place, with excellent views of Downtown Manhattan, and a lot of places for sports and activities.
Norberto Mosso
Regardless if you're a tourist or simply live in tbe best city in the world, please visit this amazing place. U will enjoy it and have an amazing time, and have some of the best views ever!
Lucero Chavez
There’s a deck in the upper level, that will allow you to take the best photos of Manhattan skyline
Emily Graham
What a great little park with even better views! Brooklyn is by far my favorite of the boroughs and for good reason. You get the beautiful skyline of Manhattan and the river as a backdrop but instead of hordes of people you get beautiful brownstones and cobblestone streets. We loved this little area and took so many photos from the vantage point of this park. Great find!
Felix Estevez
This beautiful park has the best view of new york city. Weekends are perfect for visiting this park as they always have different activities going on.
Libby Nicholaou
One of my favorite places in Brooklyn. I walk my dog here every other morning and it never gets old. During the week days it’s pretty quiet and on the weekends there’s lots of barbecuing and picnics. It has a good community vibe, the best views of Manhattan and almost everything you want in an outdoor park.
Mushfiqur R
Incredible place. I wanted always get the chance to come here but when I do it's alway memorable. Highly recommend, a staple of Brooklyn.

Tom Heeren
Walking this iconic New York bridge is a must for visitors. It's crowded but you can get some amazing views of Manhattan and DUMBO. Do it late in the afternoon so you can watch sunset from DUMBO and then return via the Manhattan Bridge.
Carlos Juarez
Good for photo shoots, at mornings is not crowded and the walkway is bigger now, since they sepparated the bike lane from the pedestrian.
Veera Jayasree Latha Bommu

Great place, with excellent views to the Manhattan skyline. Good shops and restaurants. Easily reached by either Brooklyn Bridge or Manhattan Bridge.
Rashad Worthy
Great scenery. Views of downtown Manhattan. There's a bike trail, basketball courts, rocks, benches and plenty of photos ops. Great for a date night. Limited parking which is only $2/hr. You can also see the Statue of Liberty.
Mohit Dassaur
Absolutely love the views, food and overall experience. Everytime I visit new York..this is one the spots I like to visit. Sunset is the best time to visit.
Paul Butler
Great place to spend the day. Like all places in NYC parking is a challenge anywhere nearby. Amazing views of Manhattan and excellent facilities. Park is part of a several pier system. Ferry stop here can get you to several NYC locations in a reasonable amount of time. Food options are available nearby. Walking up several blocks will get you access to the bridge walkway.
Lalos SAW
It's a nice park near the Brooklyn Bridge.
Megan Sogard
Views of both the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge from the vantage point of this park. Nice spot to relax and recharge after walking around DUMBO.
Ravi Yelleswarapu (Venkata)
Best place for a sunrise and sunset picture of new york. You can see the statue of liberty, the entire skyline if the clouds clear, and the Brooklyn Bridge. The entire park is made for the viewing with lots of great corners where you can get good panorama. The bridge is kind of confusing to cross to get here so look up directions carefully
Nate Ulsh
Great place to chillax and have a great time with the family or couples. Very nice at night with the lights, not too cold during May.
Jose G
Amazing place... will go back in the summer
Esseland T
Great for people watching and just watching the world go by. Brilliant views of Manhattan skyline also less annoying than being around the nearby streets full of cliched instagrammers taking selfies #yawn
Muhammad Zia Mehmood
Always fun to walk across. Usually really crowded but nice views
Evii Raamrz
Perfect for walks, love the sunsets here, basketball court, near Brooklyn Bridge, amazing NYC view, pretty safe, parking option, not many spots available, not far from Industry city, family oriented, walk, pics, relax, play sports, and much much more!
Adriene Liggins
Had a fun time riding the tour boat listening to stories about New York while drinking a cup of vodka and cranberry! My daughter even met a new friend! Good times!!!
Jena Cooper
Beautiful park and great views of Manhattan!
JOSHUA LETCHER
This is a great area to walk, sit and relax and I was really impressed with the sporting fields and kids water park as well as the BBQ areas. Every city should have this type of area.
Also the views of the city are nice from here.
Pavan Varma BHUPATIRAJU
Great for running & cycling track. Go in the evenings when there is sunlight the skyline will be awesome.
Brent Martindale
What a beautiful and fun spot! We had some great food at Shake Shack and then gazed at the beautiful views of the bridge.
