Reviews of Parc D'orleans Inc RV PARK & CAMPGROUND
The owner was very nice. Wanted to make sure that we picked the site we wanted. Best comments first cement parking pad and gated and locked so security! Less then 10 minutes from the French Quarter. Laundry facilities all the ones I tried work, but I’m very old and worn. Bathroom’s are not clean. we were glad we had one on board. We were only staying for a few nights they took passport America and the price is right. If you’re looking for a Resort you may want to choose somewhere else.
But for a parking lot, the place is doable!
A straightforward, affordable, gated rv park with full hookups and decent wifi. Owner is very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a spot to park your Rv/Trailer while you go hang out in the French Quarter.. this is your spot.
Don't judge the book for the cover, Is not a resort but is safe clean and friendly 👌 and Mr Curtis is a very good person is been a month I'm on the Rv park and
He always walks around checking if everything is ok.
Very friendly and helpful. Small spaces but adequate for our class C 30ft.
Distance from French Quarters is about 9 miles . Convenient bus stop opposite of RV park.
We did our research and all the RV parks in Nola are located in a bad location and none of them are are worthy of a 5 star review based on their appearance. The reason we gave this park a 5 star was because of the owner. We stayed here for 90 days and the owner of the business made us feel like family. If we ever go back to New Orleans we wouldn’t consider any other park.
It doesn't look like such a great neighborhood but no one really bothers you and the park is gated Inside the gate is nice I felt very safe inside the gate to walk my dogs alone at night too and the owners are great and willing to accommodate within reason, laundry unit on site and grass yards at every site also is nice! Plus a Separate area by itself and for taking your dogs out everyone has seemed very nice the owner really seems to care about the people who choose to stay here and he keeps up the park so that it stays nice. Just wish it was in a little nicer neighborhood but I would definitely stay here again, thanks!
Nice place to stay just not pretty. It's a gated campground where we felt safe. Super friendly owner. Just not our type of camping.
Nice, clean, full of long term residents...who seem nosey and even as you're trying to concentrate on parking and setting up your trailer, they are asking questions and trying to see inside your rv. Several of them came out..just nosey...standing around the way they were made it very difficult and unsafe trying to maneuver and backup a 34 foot travel trailer with several people meandering around. Also, check out is noon sharp...$3 per hour if your there past 12:00 pm. I have never seen that before in any park I've stayed in.
A reasonably priced RV park. Location was convenient to drive into downtown / French Quarter, easily. Although the park is near to railroad tracks, most of that traffic was at low speed. It was not a problem for us. We felt safe and interactions with owner manager were kind, friendly and helpful.
We paid them with our out of state check for payment.
We will stay here again when we are in the area. Thank you!
Stayed there from Oct 2019 thru March 2020.
1. The prices are very reasonable and they do not nickel and dime you for every little thing. They accomidate both 30 and 50 amp rigs, trailers, even tent campers. Electric, sewer, even wifi is all included in the price. Btw, wifi is quite good.
2. Security is great. Unlike the other campgrounds in the area, who only have a 4 foot fence, this place has a tall fence surrounding the property, brand new duel drive gates that are code activated, plenty of security cameras, and the owner and his wife live on property. I never felt uneasy or worried about my rig and Jeep, even when I had to fly back home for a couple weeks, leaving my rig behind.
3. The thing I like most is the people. Has a nice mix of both short and long term campers. Everyone is very friendly, everyone helps one another and we all look out for eachother. We were a community. I've made several friends who still stay in the park, shout out to George, Steve. No matter how nice a place is or isnt, it's the people that make a place feel like home. This place felt like home.
4. Finally, Curtis the owner is a top notch guy. Very friendly, to everyone, always has a smile on his face, and is eager to accomidate any need. You can tell he truly cares about his park and his customers.
This park is only 7 miles from the French quarter, and just down the street from walmart, and I10. I will definitely be back this October thru March.
This is New Orleans so come October, if ypu arrive before I do, your welcome to any site other then 53 which was mine. I think it's haunted. =)

Second year to stay with Curtis @ Parc d' Orleans and it has been a great experience both years. Curtis/management is onsite 24/7. We are self contained and our goal was a safe, comfortable place to park. We didnt use the grounds for leisure, laundry, shower, etc. Our time was spent in the city. Reasonably priced, working RV amenities, and conveniently located (across the street from the bus stop).Train was noticeable until you do not notice it (better than the apartment on the Blues Brothers ;). Authentic New Orleans. CASH ONLY. NO REFUNDS.
Curtis (the owner) is a super nice and helpful guy! The other campers were also nice. There is a bus stop right across the street for easy & safe access to the French Quarter, 24 hours a day. It is cash or check only though!
Owner’s are kind and helpful. Coded entry gate and laundry facilities. The spots on the far right when you enter the park get the best shade. What more can you ask for so close to downtown?
Thanks for the stay!
No frills, but very reasonably priced ($550/mo). 50amp, full hookups, back in spots, narrow. Lots of people coming and going so it’s popular. Some pads you can pull through by driving through the spot behind you (if it’s vacant). The owner Curtis is very nice, lives onsite, checks in with you if he sees you, keeps order. Having mail and packages delivered is no prob. Park is fenced in, but no front gate so local transients do occasionally find their way in. Curtis keeps lots of security cameras and lights, but make sure to keep your RV and car locked at all times especially at night. Don’t leave out anything out that can easily be walked off with. Laundry room has four washers and dryers. I didn’t use the bathroom or WiFi, but it’s there. Bus stop is across the street to French Quarter or pretty much anywhere. $3/person for 24 hour pass on RTA is very cheap, or $16/way in an Uber/Lyft. Dollar Store and Winn Dixie nearby for groceries.
Were camping for now, bath house, laundry, electric, water hook up. Nice and tidy, well run. The gentleman whom I spoke to , the owner, was very helpful, truly looking out for your concerns or questions. So far, highly recommended.
The guy behind us was always helpful and very friendly. The park owner is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our week there and we would stay again. They are still a bit dishevelled from their Katrina recovery but it is a good park.
We loved the RV Park. The people were very helpful with our RV. That was our first time going with the PV. The gentleman help use with helping getting our car off the dolly. It was very good for us to learn what to do with the RV. We will go back to them again.
A great place to stay if you're just needing a place to stay while visiting New Orleans. No fancy bells or whistles (pool, playground, etc.), but comfortable. Owner is extremely nice and friendly, and very helpful. A very nice Winn Dixie and other stores nearby. I would stay there again and again if I go back to New Orleans. Only accept cash.
We were at this park from October 2019 to February 2020. Mr.Curtis is one of the most pleasant people i have ever dealt with at any RV park. I felt safe due to the gated entry and exit, it was conveniently close to the French Quater, Slidell, and Chalmette. I will stay here again if I am anywhere near this area in the future.
Thank you Mr. Curtis, Roy and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Had a great time... Owner and residents are very nice. Not such a great area but the park is gated for safety.
The neighborhood around here is iffy, however this park is not bad if you're just passing through or there to drop your car and go into downtown. Very inexpensive too and the person running it was extremely nice. Cash only!
Me and my husband stayed there for about 6 to 7 months and it was lovely Mr. Curtis is always there when you need something and really nice and quiet It was nice to set out at night and talk and just watch the stars
Very quiet RV site, friendly manager. The only 👎 is the restroom/shower facility. One look inside and a quick u-turn to exit. …
It ain’t a 5 star hotel but the owner was super nice and friendly!
The good things are only price and that its close to downtown. Other than that its a cheap place in a poor neighborhood, noisy at night with ambulance and police passing by all the night.
In need of some upgrading. Our lot was littered with broken glass. The lots are tiny. Bathrooms we're rarely clean. The only saving factor was it's price and it's proximity to the tourist spots
Great RV Park. We Stayed there a week. Owner is Down to Earth. Very Friendly. We would Definitely Stay there Again.
Not a bad place, for the city. Located close to French Quarter and good food. Self contained, and running a/c, no issues with noise or trouble.
It's a great place to stay. The owners are down to earth and very friendly, and very diligent about everyone's safety and security
Basic RV park with a friendly owner modestly priced within 10 minuets of Canal Street and the French Quarter.
Curtis the owner was very knowlegeable about New Orleans. Park was fine with easy access to wherever you need to go.
Its a quiet community and we'll groomed. The grass is always trimmed and the owner/ manager is very polite
OK Pl ace but seemed to be in a rougher part of town. Nice owners, but between the trains and ambulance sirens pretty noisy.
Great place to stay. Manager on site , HOT showers , bus stop right across the street , 30 min to the French quarter.
Manager was friendly. Park been there a long time. Very simple RV park.
Sites are very small. Owner is friendly and helpful. This park is in East New Orleans
Ok for an overnight stay, owner did warn about trains, but was not expecting a switching yard. Place needs some work
Very nice people. Nothing fancy but safe!
Very clean the manager or owner is very polite and nice and it's right close to access to go anywhere you need to go
Curtis (the owner) is such a great guy. Very friendly. 6 stars
The owner was extremely friendly and the Goodsam discount is excellent.

Close to downtown. No extra amenities. Gated.
Train noise at night, was only issue for us
