I like taking my grandkids to this park, when they come and visit. And I like the fact that the ground is padded, so they can't hurt themselves. The park has a fake dog sitting on the bench, the little one was afraid at first, but he built up his courage.

Our kids (ages 1 and 7) LOVE this park. I enjoy the rubberish flooring since it’s easy on the feet and no wood chips to get stuck in the kids shoes or hands and knees when the inevitable happens and they fall.

A fantastic park! The play area was clean and well kept with plenty of safety features. The equipment was varied and will keep your little ones of all ages occupied for hours. There was equipment that encouraged physical play, but also equipment that encouraged imaginative play, too! We took our 1 1/2 and 4 1/2 yr old grands and they had a great time! There were kids up to 11-12 yrs old there as well. What impressed me most was the interaction of the older kids with the younger kids. Some older girls were happy to include our grand-d in their their play, and some older boys, though rambunctious, carefully played around the little ones. Will definitely return.

I can't believe this is a public park. We are retired California transplants to be close to the grandbabies and this park is amazing. It is so well laid out and endless stimulating play areas. From slides to musical instruments and kid sized ziplines. Things that spin and tons of things to climb. What a treasure and its FREE.

Nice quiet, riverside venue for relaxing, walking, picnicking. Lots of shade behind trees and shrubs. Great location to watch the July 4th fireworks. We've gone two years now. Bring a blanket and a basket of food and roll out those lazy hazy crazy days of summer; those days of soda and pretzels and beer... you'll wish that summer could always be here.

All I can say is WOW! The fields are well kept, there is lots of parking, and the playground is amazing. My only complaint was not necessarily in the park, but rather GPS address. The link for directions brought me to the far end of the park (in front of picnic canopy), which also happens to look on 2 other fields (not easily accessible from that spot). Since I do not live in TN and was coming to watch my great-nephew, I was neither familiar with area or park. It took a while (& asking someone) to figure out which field I needed.

McKnight park and the Sportscomm are a great place for the residents of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County to exersize and relax. My husband and I go swimming at the Sportscomm every other day and everyone who works or attends there is a pleasure to interact with. We highly reccomend you visiting for a quick work out and then cool down with a swim!

I loved this little park so many things to keep the little ones happy nice and clean hower ever no shade over the playground when its hot the equipment is scolding and cant be used but great for cooler days and spring and fall play

The playground here is the most unique and interactive in Murfreesboro. My daughter loves the Zipline chair. I love that it's great for those of us with special needs. Always a great group of parents and kids at the playground. I highly recommend taking a photo with Astro everytime you go!

This park is literally the best place I have taken my 4 year old Don to play. Every piece of equipment is in order, the kids are all polite and so are their parents. It is clean and there are open restrooms. When there are baseball games, the concession stand is open, the ground is a mix of recycled rubber and cushioned astro turf. Best times are schools ays and mornings when there are enough children to play with but it isn't overwhelming.

This park is so nice and has different playground equipment for the children also. They have kid zip lining as well, super safe and sturdy for the little ones! I would recommend it for maybe kids 12 years and younger.

The children enjoy the Zipline the best. It's a very unique park. Best suggestion is to go early morning or late afternoon when the son is almost down during the hottest months !

One of the more well-kept playgrounds in the area, and my son loves playing on everything. The only downside is that there are no swings here, but other than that it's definitely worth a visit.

This is a nice place for families. There are ballparks in the front and back of the park, as well as a playground, and an outdoor pool. On the inside they have a small weight room with cardio equipment, an indoor pool with a diving board, an indoor track, two aerobic rooms, a gym that is setup for pickle ball early in the day, and there are showers in the locker rooms. There's plenty for a family to do here, especially during the summer months.

Terrific playground and facility! It's not as large, or tall, as Kid's Castle, and is built with accessibility in mind, bit you see kids of all ages there nonetheless.

The playground is amazing. Especially for younger kids. I felt very comfortable allowing my 5 and 4 year old to explore in their own, without me in their shadow. I could keep an eye on them and none of the equipment was too much for them. There are bathrooms close by as well. Great place to play.

Great park with lots of cushy ground areas so kids can play on the monkey bars, slides, and cool zip line swings without much worry. Kids gave it a full 5 STARS!!! :)

A nice park with lots of fun things for children to climb on and get some energy out! The only downside being that the cushioned mat ground around the play area can get extremely hot sometimes and is quite reflective especially on those really sunny days so remember your sunglasses and water!

Love this park. Much safer than alot of the other parks in Murfreesboro, especially for little ones. My 2 year old just loves it here. I feel comfortable just letting him run and play without having to be right behind him. We try to bring him at least twice a weekend. Very clean, always kept up.

Great complex for fastpitch softball. The bathrooms could be a little larger and upgraded but the concession stands are great the bleachers have shade covers now and the fields are usually always in excellent condition. Parking is very convenient but spaces can be limited on full game days.

It has a workout facility, inside and outside pools with tables for eating and resting. Also a playground, basketball courts, and outside sportsplex accommodating baseball, softball and soccer. Great place for family fun and exercise. Has many programs for children and adults throughout the year. Affordable and friendly.

We have always enjoyed a ride to Christana to dine at Miller's. Great country views, good prices, and oh, did I mention even better food choices! Well worth the drive from murfreesboro or the surrounding area!

My kids love the mini zipline. Well, actually they love all the activities here. Play equipment is in good condition, and keeps the kids completely occupied. On top of you it, they get to watch airplanes take off and land at Murfreesboro airport right behind the park!

McKnight Park is a family friendly girls softball facility that encourages female children to learn a skilled sport from ages 4 thru high school . Family values & great coached teaching makes this an excellent facility to participate in a Wholesome sports activity for all young girls. The adjacent David Price playground created & dedicated for all children is an added jewel in the crown of a great community park for all people of Murfreesboro!!

It's right next to Sports Co. And it also has a regular park across the street from it. There is a HUGE open field that is perfect for kids to play in and there is also a shading area with benches.

Ok lil area... Went for Bacon Fest... and uh... There was no bacon... But they did have CBD... If they had Bacon... That would be a nice combination... If you go to the annual fest... The bacon glazed donuts are great if you're lit... The rec area seems alright... Never been here before.... Didn't seem to have trouble in or out... no problem parking.... Have a good time!!!!
