Beautiful beach very large with volleyball nets, awesome playground, on site showers and bathrooms, good layout, spacious camping areas, picnic areas with built in bean bag toss and horseshoes, benches to watch the amazing sunrise and sunset.

Beautiful Campground. Nice playground for kids. Clean restrooms with showers. Also Dump station and boat cleaning station. Beautiful lake for swimming and fishing. Very friendly caretakers of the park.

Mostly really nice. Needs some updates maybe. Really open and the beach is awesome on a very clean lake. Lots of good picnic spots and benches to look at the lake.

Lovely beach! Has a playground, volley ball net, grill, and a shower/bathroom shelter area. They also provide extra life jackets for kids :)

Small little park owned by one guy, I believe. Came here just to do a little walking. They have a short little hiking trail as well as a lake access for campers and multiple camp sites for people to camp.

The lake, beach, and play park are very nice. However, the campsites are extremely crowded and close together. They don't even have good places for a large tent on some of the sites. There were also probably more vehicles there then there were campers! The mosquitoes weren't terrible if you apply bug spray. There also weren't too many trees, and only one short hiking trail through the woods. The showers weren't great either. So it was okay, but we wouldn't go back unless we had the spots right by the lake.

Pretty nice campground but we had electrical issues on site 8 and also it was not level at all. It was an unsafe back in spot. The one thing a campground needs to be sure is that their site for campers is level, that is the most important thing. Other that'll those it was a great campsite.

The most beautiful campground I’ve ever stayed in! Loved the tree /grass covered common area, they saved instead of making more spaces. The shade plus the river just make it so special. Can’t wait ti go back. Oh, and McKenzie, the telephone reservation specialist is the most upbeat and helpful phone person ever!

We have been going to Schroeder Park since I was probable 13 (37 now)! Wonderful campground. Clean,safe,convenient. If anyone ever got the chance to meet Ruth and her husband they were such wonderful people. And who can forget Radar the German Shepard. Would highly recommended this park.

Well kept smaller campground right on the lake. Great beach, playground, level sites, clean bathrooms and showers. Showers have locking bathroom stall doors. Shared water spicket between sites so have to fill up rv water tank, which is no big deal as long as your rv water pump works.

Absolutely love the park & beach area of this county park. The boat launch with a new parking area has been a major improvement. You do pay a fee to use the boat launch and park. Daily and seasonal permits are available at the office. The grounds and facilities are well maintained. Cedar lake itself is fun for floating and recreation but not so much for fishing. The swimming is usually good, a little cold in the middle of the lake because it is so deep but the depth/cold keeps it nice and clear in the middle. Overall, this is an A+ treasure!!!

Nice beach area. Picnic area with covered pavilion. Playground with HIGH stairs and platform that need close supervision. Also lots of bees for some reason. There’s a boat landing and small fishing pier. It’s a great place to visit on a quiet summer am when no one is in the beach!!!

As hammock campers, our first impression was less than hopefull. However, after a quick discussion with the very helpful gentleman in the camp office we were set up with a site that was sufficient for three hammocks. You should know this is a park that primarily caters to RVs. You might not find that touch of secluded nature, but all of the people we encountered were very friendly. If you are just passing through this camp is for you.

Clean campground and facilities. Friendly staff. Nice large beach, playground and two volleyball nets. Fellow campers have been friendly and the staff have been very nice and helpful

They have a nice RV section that is separate from the beach which is really nice and it's a great place to go boating and jet skiing

Love coming here. Family friendly but yet always fun and lively. Daughters favorite place to camp. All sites have easy access to the great beach and playground.

My family has been going to Schroeder Park for 30 years and we have had nothing but great experiences there. Bathroom are always cleaned every morning. Great beach on Cedar Lake. Great park for the kids to play at. Fishing pier and a boat launch on site. Beautiful and not too big. Great community! Park is patrolled by Wright Cty Parks and Recreation and Wright Cty Sherifs department. We'll continue to come back year after year.

Very nice and well maintained park. My usual opener is big water and big fish. This was a chance to reconnect with my older.son and my younger son together with grandkids.

This park is very nice. The water is clear. The beach is clean and there are plenty of picknic tables and a very nice play ground. There is also a pier for fishing.
