So I camped here right after Labor Day so there were only a few pple here so that was Awesome!! I notice they had few lawn games u can rent such as Lawn Darts 🏸I'm not sure the fee, the spaces are decent size and vary in back in and pull through also vary in coverage some have trees some dont. If water hook up is important to you then you wldnt want to camp here for there's not water🚫🚰 hookups but they do have a spickot 🚰when you first come in same with dump station. I see they sell ice 3$5# & 6$10# they have a regular playground 🤸🤼and some hiking trails 🥾🧬I'm going to go on after I write this.. lol. You can buy bundle of 🔥 🪵🪓 for 5$ 💵as well which is about 5 pieces so kinda spendy💸💰 in my opinion. 🚹🚺🚽🚿🧻Restrooms very clean! They also have 🧺 picnic tables and 🔥 ring at each site, the pwr🔌 is 2030& 50 and few tent sites. There's always tons of stuff to do in Mankato great food🦞🍤🌮🍕🍗🍟🥠, bars some w entertainment🍹🍷🍺🎵🎸🎺💃🕺ok so I just talked to the camp host and they are in the midst of making small beach an can access it from the property access the bridge plus they are going to pave some trails. Nice campground so then why a '4'? Cause for 30amp elec spot only no water was 35$/nite I thought it quite high in my opinion. Thanks for reading Peace ✌️

This is a nice and tranquil Campground. The campsites are level. There is electricity in all but one spot. There is a dump station and water fill up. There is a covered picnic area and newer bathrooms. There are two small playgrounds. Prices are very reasonable at $25/day for electric hookup and $20 for no electric. Call ahead to book an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to have my call answered on a weekend.
Note that there are not any pull through sites, but the sites in the middle area (not the outside of the horseshoe loop) have very long pads that will accommodate the longest RVs out there. (we were at 52' with trailer and truck and there was still a good 10' of room).
The fire rings are heavy duty and nice.
There are trails nearby (about 3.5 miles of trails). Trails are good for walking, hiking, running or biking (but no motorized vehicles).

Very clean and cozy new campground just outside of Mankato! Close enough to Mankato to invite friends and family! It gives good ‘stay-cation’ vibes! Taking the boat out tomorrow also! The public landing is just down the road! It’s a gem!

We went over 4th of July and it was a wonderful experience. The care taker was amazing and so helpful. I have never camped anywhere that the care taker drove around asking if we needed anything before. They would drop of firewood or ice as needed. She was amazing! The camp sites are huge and you have lots of room for activities! Our kids had so much fun! We will be going again!

I can't here after the Labor Day weekend so there was only a couple other people but the sites are nice sized and most have a tree or two my site was level for the most part they all come with a fire ring and picnic table. If water hook up is essential for you then you would not want to camp here they do have a spicket in the beginning of the entrance along with the dump station as well. Talking with the camp host Sue(who btw is friendly😊) they're going to be paving their trails and making a beach across the bridge. There is a fairly nice-sized restroom with two showers and are for campers only you have to have the code to get in there but very clean. There was a note on the bathroom door I believe that mentioned they had some lawn activities to rent one was lawn darts and I think badminton. They also have ice for sale $3 5 lb $6 £10. They also have two playgrounds for kids. So you might ask why only a 4??! And the reason being is the price for electric only it was $35 a night and although it is a nice campground, I found that to be a little high just saying. Thanks for reading and you enjoy the rest of your day or night LOL peace

Had a awesome Halloween party there. Haunted house, lots of candy and nicely decorated campers with very friendly people. And open to the public

Pretty and has a very friendly, helpful staff. Drawbacks are it's right on a well traveled road with no barriers (trees). Nice walking trails. Nice bath house, Nice picnic shelter and community room.

Stayed Sept16-17 2020 Lot 25. Very nice campground we had a 22' camper. Lots/sites were big and mostly level. Had lots of public TV stations. The campground was roomy and looked well maintained. The only complaint would be that we noticed the water was brown. I think from old pipes. It wasn't a problem because we bring our own drinking water.

Always a favorite stop for time spent in nature, the paths go through woods, prairies, fields, and even down by the lake. If you need to be wild and get your nature fix this is the perfect place.

Nice park with wide trails.

Sue and Tom were amazing hosts, and created a lovely little community of family friendly campers. Everyone was so nice! Great place for little walks by a babbling brook, large campsite, and great location for kayaking on Lake Washington. Facilities were well kept and very clean. We plan to book again in October. Thank you!

Nice little rv park off the road...great hiking. Camp host Tom and Sue were great. Kids play area. Dogs ok on0 leash. We stayed 2 nights @ 25$ night. Bathrooms were clean. Shower water not very hot lukewarm to cold. One huge complaint was the power. They have 30/50 amp.We originally moved into sight 25 power wouldn't flip on. We then moved 24 power kept surging turning on and off all hours...ugh so we moved to 23 no issues...overall nice place besides power issues.

You will love, because it's great to see deers, raccoons, other and see boats on the lake. Especially, great to see fireworks display at Lake Washington on July 4th.
