Everyone here is so sweet and they care so much about their guests. The sites are beautiful and huge. The pool area and bathrooms are kept really clean. The store has everything you forgot for really reasonable prices. It's nice that they include activities for guests. My family will definitely be back again and again.

We had such a nice weekend staying here! This was our first trip coming and will not be our last!! Can not wait to come back next camping season and enjoy this wonderful place ! The staff are all so nice, they pick up your trash bags if you set them out, bathrooms are clean and very nice compared to some we have seen. So many things for family do and the dog area is great for those who have furbabies. We loved taking our dogs on a walk down by the river and around the park. They loved every minute. Thank you for a wonderful place to call home for the weekend!

We liked how the sites allowed groups and you could park as a group however your campers fit. Nice pool and splash pad for the kids. An arcade and store with goodies. The river is close so there is tubes and kayaks to rent. They also had kids activities on Saturday morning.

We do a big group camp there every year. Always have a great time. Good sized sites and always a good experience with the campground owners. Some nice improvements over the last year or two as well. Added concrete pads and updated sewer hook ups on some sites. Absolutely love the big sand play area for the kids and the new fenced dog area. Only real knock is the road in/out of the campground. Pretty rough. Plan to keep going back for years to come.

Lovely campground we booked for our first trip in new camper. The staff was more than helpful and were very accommodating. The sites and facilities were very clean. The kids want to go back.

We had a great time here for the weekend. Friendly staff. Nice facilities. Pool and splash pad and games for kids were great. Our spot was a really nice size. The only drawback were a lot of little beetles a various times of the day but that's what nature's all about and they didn't bite or anything so no biggie. We would definitely stay here again.

First time at this Camping Park and we LOVED IT - the sites are large, grassy, easily accessible and pet friendly. Having the River to go tubing/kayaking in was so awesome, as they take you to the drop off spot and then pick you up right at the campground! Super easy! Bonus pool and a SPLASH PAD for the little ones (adults too)! Loved the convenience of the store too! Super clean facilities and bathrooms/out bldgs were clean & didn't smell!! We will definitely be going back! One hour from home, but felt like we were a long ways away!!! Kim & Keith

I just camped at one of their riverside tent sites this weekend and it was amazing. The staff were great. The restrooms were nice and clean. The property was just beautiful. I will definitely mark it down as one of my favorites. We will be going back without a doubt.

Nice rv park with a pool and convenient store. The staff were very nice and even let me use their pizza cutter. Nice spacious sites. Plenty of space and some trails to walk. I just wish all RV campgrounds would ban political banners and yard signs. Most people camp to get away from it all. This was unfortunately trump land

Update- after making my original review, the owner reached out to me personally and apologized for how everything was handled last camping trip, very heartfelt and sincer apology, i greatly appreciate her reaching out to make things right! we love country camping, have been going here for years! it was extremely difficult to write my original review! I would recommend country camping to anybody who wants to just get away from life and enjoy the outdoors and a very beautiful camp ground! so much for kids to do, pool, playground, game room, tubing, safe to run around and ride bikes, karaoke Saturdays. We will definitely return for years and many more memories , Thank you Pati just to make it clear when u tube u are not allowed to ever leave ur tube, the rope swing near the end is "trespassing " my daughter got hurt enjoying the rope swing and I was extremely rudely informed of this was trespassing and country campers arenotto even get off the tubes

Nice camp ground! Very well taken care of and nice amenities! I know people who camp here for the spring through fall months and they love it! I have stayed here a few times for tubing and it is a blast! Would recommend to anyone to stay here and don't forget the kids!

Very nice campground! Just far enough from town to feel like you are away from it all. Only drawback was how far we were from the bathrooms or an outhouse.

This place had a little bit for everyone. I was disappointed (not their fault) thay the Rum River was flooded and I was unable to really see where the primitive sites were like. Clean, nice showers.

My family and I have been coming here for 5 years in a row now. And love it! We do the tent by the river. Kids get in and out of the river all day long go up to the pool and just relax. And we take our dog max with us too. We are very happy to have found this place.

This was the first time we camped here and it was for a month. Let me tell you Patty and Lee went above and beyond to accommodate us. This campground is so well run , very clean , sites were far enough apart to enjoy some privacy and they even deliver nice bundles of firewood to your site for a good price. Great place to camp with friends and family. Pricing was very reasonable for a well maintained camp ground. Large campsites for tents close to river. Very clean pool and splash pads for kids to play in. Would definitely come back!

I have to admit, I read the reviews and was a little hesitant prior to our stay. I'm glad we decided to make a decision on our own. Best campsite ever!! Staff was super attentive and friendly. Facilities were nice and clean and VERY kid friendly. We are used to staying at KOA's is where they are pretty strict about quiet time and rules and I thought this campsite was much more laid back. We had an awesome time and we will be back again.

This place is amazing!! They have such a nice layout where you get all kinds of privacy down by the river, everything we forgot at home the general store in the office seemed to have for a good price! I'm planning on staying a few times this summer and next summer and so on! 5 stars!!!

They had a great set of back in sites. Good shade most of the day. Water tastes very good, good pressure. Laid back, no rush for things. The firewood delivery and end-of-stay-trash pickup was super handy.

I don't know about tent camping here but we have a small rv and it was great the restroom area and pool super clean, the staff was very nice, tubing was awesome and game room great. not much to do in the town or area but for 3 day camping perfect. would recommend

Tent camping was nice right on the river. Only had portable bathrooms in that area. They weren't serviced in a while so needed to drive to office to use bathroom. Did like they had delivery wood service and trash pickup.

Wonderful friendly place to camp We did a family reunion and the owners and staff could nt be more helpful..Many things to do canoeing,tubing on the Rum River and a pool for swimming. Fire pits and wood available and ice that s always needed. You find a better place to camp. Enjoy the summer we did.

I love camping gear the primitive camping in tents very affordable you can get right down by the river very safe but it walking distance to the lodge if you need help with anything very nice place to spend the weekend

The tubing was great. Make sure to read the sign about the waivers near the rental shed as the staff was rude and annoyed when we asked questions. Poor customer service. Also, they only take cash but there is an ATM on site.

Over priced for a one night stay, glad they let me stay one night, their policy was two nights, pre registered but still had to stop at the office so what was the point of pre-registration

Best campground we've ever been to. The owners and the staff are very attentive and helpful. Big campsites with water and electric hook-up at each one. Tubing kayaking pool splash pad horseshoes basketball arcade games showers good bathroom facilities and the campers are very respectful of the grounds and each other.

I have come here for years. I have never had the owner be rude or any of the store employees, its a shame that people are reviewing it that way. This is a very safe, family friendly camp ground. They do offer tubing, and sometimes there is a wait to get on the bus, it just depends on what time you go and if its a weekend it can get busy. They keep the campsites clean and the store stocked. The bathrooms are usually pretty clean and they have fairly nice showers and a pool. I highly recommend this place! We love it!

Not a bad spot to camp unfortunately had a death in the family and had to leave a couple days sooner than we paid for and was told too bad we can't refund you or give you credit for a couple days in the future. So won't be coming back here. Not like a person has control when emergencies come up. Keep the money and if anyone is around the area tomorrow and Thursday night and want this spot 110d it's paid for just pull in. 👎🏻

Great spot less than an hour from minneapolis. Tent sites are wooded and by the river, RV and trailer sites are up on the hill. I had a full hook up site with power, water, AND sewer. There are a few permanent campers and one of them had Karaoke set up on their front porch, it was a ton of fun. Everyone was nice and kayaking was cheap. 10/10 camping experience I'd go back.

This yrs a very well maintained camp ground. There is a splash pad that my daughter loved as well as a swimming pool. The kids were entertained by finding spray painted rocks and trading them sry the store for free candy.

Great amenities. Nice shower at the office with a pool and game room. Typical overpriced grocery and camper necessities that you'll get most campgrounds, but a good selection. A lot of camper hookup options. Good sized sites. Tubing down the river is awesome, although, I feel, a little spendy. They only get three stars because the staff is horrible. They are unfriendly, unorganized and generally unhelpful. We had a large group. Our host was actually hung up on with one of her calls to the campground. They could have done better keeping us together. We had two campers in the opposite corner of everyone else. What people paid for their sites seemed all over the place with no logic or consistency. We had a group wait 2 hours watching other groups go by for tubing until they finally had to demand (truly argue) a refund from an unpleasant office cashier. The staff that ride around on the gator completely ignore you as they drive by, even if you wave or say hi. I had a question about my hookups because it was my first time and the guy laughed at me and rudely gave me need to know info only. Luckily my neighboring camper was helpful. It would be a fantastic place if they got all new management and employees.

Nice cement pad at our trailer site. Had issues with tripping their 30A breaker at our site and that's never happened before. Breaker almost fell out when I reset it. However, nice showers, nice office, and sites. Friendly people. Halloween in June for the kids. Pool is a good temperature, but small. Some kids pooped in it TWICE today, which is pretty damn unpleasant. Patents of small kids should know better and the office should be making it clear that small kids need to be in swim diapers. Gross. Office staff was VERY suspicious when we told them they hadn't given us bracelets for the pool when we checked in, and again when we had to replace one when my 12 year old pulled his off after the first night. Even asked if we'd saved it to prove that it was really a replacement. They charge even for visitors to come in ($5) and I'm sure even more for a visitor to swim, so I think they're worried about getting every dollar they can from people. It is unfortunate when a campground always fills up and then owners get that way, not worrying about how they treat customers. Still, a nice campground and would return.

Clean facility anywhere you went on the grounds. All in working order. Tons of kid friendly games. Toys. Sports field. Volly ball.basket ball. Kiaking. Tubbing down river'3miles'. You name it!!. The camp lots are huge! Nice roads and laid out very well(for night time walks w/Mrs.). A place to revisit fir sure.
