Great, well kept campground. We stayed in the upper part, sites 36-38 for our group, and they are all pull through. All the roads are paved and the sites have a nice gravel area for a floor mat and chairs. Fire pits we large with plenty of space to sit around. Lots of space on the sites and the center by sites 36 & 38 had a little sandbox for the kids to play. Nice and clean bathrooms but only one shower stall for each men and women. The shower stall was very large with plenty of space for towel and toiletries. The lower portion is newer and has no shade, but is close to the park and beach. The beach is a huge sandy area with a large space to swim. The playground is huge with lots of slides and things to climb. The kids wanted to stay at the playground all day. We also checked out the Wright County trail system that begins and ends at the park. If you weave all though the woods it is about 3.5 miles. We took the outer ring of the trails and ended up about 2.5 miles. Nicely groomed trails but there were some steep hills and uneven terrain. Really nice views though-out and would love to come back in the fall.

VERY nice and clean park and campground. Excellent playground for the kids, great beach and swimming area, volleyball, reservable picnic shelter. Highly recommended!

Beautiful park. Very clean and the beach area was awesome. Collinwood lake is swimable even in August. If you are looking for 10 feet of clarity, go up north another 150 miles. You will not find that anywhere in central MN in August. This camp ground is really a hidden gem. Managers are very nice, hardworking and friendly. People get upset at them for simply doing their job. Don’t park on the grass, keep your dog on a leash, pick up after yourself and don’t be a loud neighbor at 1am. It’s pretty simple. Follow basic common sense rules and you will have a great time at this campground.

It's a small campsite, but that's actually great. The facilities are clean, the lake is very nice and shallow so little kids can enjoy playing in it too. But there were lots of bugs, especially bees. Keep your food and drinks closed.

Took my 3 grandchildren camping for 3 days, camped in site N, which faces the playground and beach. We had a great time. Very quiet during the weekdays.

I rent out the pavilion every year for my son's birthday! It's a perfect place! Nice pavilion... Decent price.... Playground... Sandy Beach... It's perfect! Everyone enjoys it! Minus the mini biff. If it had a solid restroom with running water it would get 5 ⭐'s

The playground is newer, pretty good sized, fun equipment for all ages, multiple slides, (one is high up with curves. The biggest I've seen within a 30 mile radius). Tunnels, swings, different climbing things. Nice hiking trails. And it's right by the lake which has a nice swimming beach. There's a nice campground with modern amenities and new showers, restrooms & picnic areas/shelters. Sand volleyball court, cement basketball court. All around a great place!

Campsites are crowded but so so clean and a gorgeous setting. Top notch facilities (showers, water availability). Got in late and couldn't self register though

Great campground. Well kept and clean. The beach was great. Loved the rinse station in the grass off the beach. Nice big playground, has a basketball hoop and volley ball net, boat dock and fishing pier. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Will definitely stay here again.

Very pretty campground. Nice playground, beach area, basketball course, boat launch, and fishing peer are all a short walk from you campsite. Be aware that if you are tent camping you don't park were your tent is. You have to carry you stuff up a hill to bring it to your campsite. There were a couple of people that drove up but you're not supposed to. We were pretty irritated that the campground personnel did not tell us that there was a family reunion going on while we would be camping. There was easily 30 to 50 people by the playground and beach area so we didn't even get to use it. We could hear every single conversation going on from our campsite and they were there ALL day!!! Along with the multiple groups of wedding parties that were there it was difficult to utilize any amenities. We will probably go back, but I will specifically be asking if there are any parties going on there. The lake is super nasty (obviously not their fault) it would be nice if there was a rinse off area by the beach. We noticed these tiny little red bugs all over that we suspected were chiggers so by mindful of that as well.

The campground was very nice. We had a family camping party and the sites were very nice. The campground manager however was anything but friendly. Came to our site shaking his finger at us and being just rude. A simple explanation of what we were doing wrong would have been better than telling us he could and would be selling a campsite we paid for because a screen tent is not a camping unit. He needs real work on his people skills.

Really amazing campground. Very new and clean bathrooms and showers. Great fishing and an beautiful beach and playground. The campsites are all very nice with good shade trees and flat parking. Definitely going back here.

Nice campground, well maintained and nice amenities. Huge problem with dump station set up. If someone is dumping sewage and there's someone waiting you can't get in or out as the road is only single lane. So... if your not planning to use the dump station you have to wait to get out. They really need to rework the desigm!!!

Great campgrounds and small walking trails. I know people that have done Eagle Scout projects here. Kid friendly playground and an amazing beach/swimming area.

Nice park and trail system for biking and walking. Campground is beautiful with surrounding trees, paved roads and level sites. Sites are large but not much privacy. Campground has electric, water spigots near most sites, dump station, sandbox, showers. Day use area has excellent playground, grills, picnic tables, large picnic shelter, sand volleyball court, basketball court, horseshoe pitch, boat launch, pier, fish cleaning, and bathrooms. Beach is large with clean sand but water is green from tiny algae.

The park is nice, it has a good shelter with electrical outlets. If people don't like the porta-potty there is a brick-and-mortar bathroom up the hill. The lake is pretty but it has a lot of green stuff floating around that can make a person nervous. Overall a nice place though.

The camp ground is great! The staff were nice and helpful. The beach was raked and nice; however the lake is very green and NOT for swimming. Unfortunately, we went for swimming and boating purposes and had to drive to another lake....

We Love the park . The owners were great people. There are a lot of people that don't care what their kids do in camping parks. Parents need to be more responsible for their children and not the owners of the campsite be responsible for their kids. So I say thank you to the owners that they are giving the other camping people a nice experience without kids running out of control. I was at a campsite one time where the kids were not being watched by their parents. I went up to the owner and told them what was going on in the camping area. These kids were breaking lights in the bathroom the light outside kicking and hitting things.

We go every year for birthdays. And the biffs weren't even empty for the weekend crowd. Took to much of the parking area away and the manager needs to take some classes in politness. But love the campground.

Remodeling in process, expanding sites for simple camping. Court for outdoor basketball in place, boat landing and parking rearranged, fish cleaning station in place as well as a meeting place / weather shelter.
