The lady that works in the campground store was so sweet and kind. She loaned out a basketball, soccer ball and other outside toys for them to play with. The cabin was very clean and ac worked great. We loved our stay at wranglers campground and we will be bk soon!

We used this as a stopover for a long road trip. It was okay for our purpose. Pros: the sites are large and easy to maneuver into, staff was pleasant and we got to see flocks of hummingbirds. Cons for us were the horse smells and the bathrooms were shabby. I realize this is a horse campground and if I was going with a horse I may rate it higher. While it was fun to see the horses, it was not as enjoyable to smell them. The area looks beautiful but we did not have time to explore. If I went back I would pick one of the other campgrounds in the area without horses.

Huge horse camp! I've never been horse camping that you couldn't really see all the people that was there. You can look 360 and never see the same campers not to mention you can then venture off and find even more of the campground. It's huge! Lots of well-maintained trails. The only drawback, for some people I would suppose, is that the terrain is very Rocky. Not as in Boulders or steep or anything like that but softball-sized down to gravel size. There's not a whole lot of just dirt trails. I would very much like to go back but just make sure if you do go that you get shoes all around. There is one other thing. In the women's restroom in the handicap shower there is no place to put your clothes. There are three hooks up on the wall and there is a bench to sit in the shower but there is no bench to set your clothes on while you're taking a shower. Other than that the water pressure was good and the temperature was good and I just didn't have any problems with it. A great place for horse camping

This campground is well maintained, well staffed with courteous people. There was always a hello or a wave. They tended to our loose horse and checked in with us upon our return to camp to be sure he was okay. Great trails to ride. Only negative is stalls are small ( maybe 8.5 x 9) and set up so urine runs out .

Fantastic day for a ride. Enjoyed the new faces of other people. Jess, Jamie and Cody, Wendell and Danny do a great job leading trails. Horses are in good shape, tack is good. Trails are woodland and well maintained.

Good horse set up and grounds we're ok. Bathroom in men's side didn't have a way to dry washed hands. And on a hot day shade my be a issue. Friendly folks

Absolutely love Wranglers. I'm a local and I come here frequently. I've ridden in the Shawnee and Wranglers has wider trails, very well maintained and well marked compared to the Shawnee, and also many smaller tougher trails that you can choose to take if you want to. It has LOTS of water, many creeks and several areas with lake access. The campground is awesome too, great facilities and friendly people

We took our kids for their first horseback ride during spring break. It was such a nice time and the scenery was beautiful! The guides, Maddie and Ella, did a great job and are very knowledgeable about the horses and the area.

This horse campground has everything done right! Plenty of space, clean bathrooms, and the people that work there are the best! The trails can be anything you want to ride from easy flat to some that are more challenging. The campsite was easy to park and level, had a solid picnic table, fire ring and electric with water close by. Hope to be back again soon.

This is such a nice campground. We stayed 4 days in the B loop and really enjoyed ourselves. This is primarily an equestrian campground with stables and tons of trails, but it's a great stay for normal campers as well. The sites are large and well kept with huge fire rings. There are 30a electric only, 30a full hookup and 50a electric sites available. There is a nice camp store with food and camping supplies. They even have an ice cream freezer. There are also several humming bird feeders right on the porch where you can hang out on the picnic tables and watch the acrobatics from a couple feet away. The only downside was lack of internet, cell signal or analog TV. It looks like they have Wi-Fi equipment but I think it was down during our stay.

Camp was not full, but a good crowd. Quite restful. We had great ride Saturday. We do need and Waterhouse to us at the front horse washing bay in section C 1. Don't like that TVA is making all of section C for next fall. Our family and others have reserved sites near our friends. I don't understand how this could benefit the campground. If the sites are reserved then TVA would have steady income. Thank you. Kathy Fulton

It was my kids first trail ride ages 6 and 8, it ended up being highlight of our trip. Juliet was a great guide, really good with the kids. They have a great philosophy of taking in horses that need a home and giving them the care and exercise they need.

Loved this 90 min horse riding with my daughter. They staff was very helpful and friendly. The horses were well trained and beautiful. We had such a great time and the price was great. $30 each person for a 90 min ride. So much fun. It is a bit out in the country but a beautiful drive.

Went for the 90 min horse back riding. Was a wonderful experience. Everyone was nice. The trails and the horses were in great shape. All the staff were very nice. Our guide, James, was wonderful. Help my niece, who had never ridden before. Great experience.

One of our favorite Wrangler campsites.Great trails. I only wish that they had more full hookups for the bigger rigs. Ms Young,I suggest that next time you camp at a regular campsite instead of a Wrangler campsite. That way you won't be bothered with the aroma

It was fun!! The horses were well trained to stay on the trail. You could trust them enough to know what they were doing. The people were kind and let me ride the horse I liked the most. I will definitely come back!

Great place , didn't ride horses as I'm not a horse guy, we parked our tiny campers there we pull behind our jeep, and we rode the forestry roads in them, but the campsite was very nice and have plenty of supplies in the outpost building. Will go again

This is the best campgrounds we have been to so far. The site are so big and it's such a clean campground. Only downside is very little to no Cell phone reception and no internet at all.

Wrangler horse camp is a great place to camp and ride. Only negative thing is the picket lines are not that great the mine belts cause them to hold water and smell. The stalls would be great if they would get the mine belts out of them. These belts are to small for the stalls and they are so long you can't straighten them out. The staff at the campground are very friendly and accommodating. Restrooms are good.

I like how big their sites are and how they are laid out. The sites mainly have electric but you have to fill your water tanks as the sites don’t have individual water. The shower houses are plentiful so there is not a long walk. We travel with our horses for weeks at a time and a bonus for me is that they have laundry facilities at the park. Each site has picket poles for your horse or you can rent stalls in the barns. Lots of trails that are well marked and maps are easy to follow. Most of the trails are suitable for wagons or carts. The park is beautiful and is huge.

Nice place lots of trails. The trails are easy to moderate. Good place for kids to learn to trail ride. All sites have electricity except for over flow. Some sites have water. They have places around each section of the camp ground where you can fill you tank up with water before going to your camp site. I wish they would put water on every site. And they do have a few sites that are full hook up water, electricity, and sewer but that is very few. Most of those are for year round campers. I give it four Stars because of it not having water on all sites . otherwise it would be five stars.

Visited 8/12/15 My family went to the Rocking U guided horse riding stables. The trails were beautiful, the horses well cared for and a knowledgeable guide. This place is everything we were looking for and would definitely recommend it! We are already scheduling a trip to return in the fall!

Very nice horse campgrounds. Many trails for horseback riding. Beware that you will be off the grid due to spotty wifi. Lots of trees so satellite reception isn't available in some sites. Camp store does have wifi but my signal was very weak.

This area is also the rustic camping area. There are also a few camping shelters/cabins. It is wonderful to sleep here and be woken up to the sound of horses. Be aware that there are a large number of ticks, if you rustic camp. They are easy to pick off, but the proper repellent of your choice at your waist and sock tops saves a lot of gross aggravation.

Stayed for LBL Juvenile hunt. Worked out great for that. Staff were all nice and very accommodating. We weren't in the campground much but it seemed nice. FYI: no bicycles allowed.
