I love the view of the lake and the geese flying around is an amazing sight. And the smell of the bon fires is wonderful.

Brandi HughesOk so this place isn't for most bc like most have said, there are many old vehicles, large equipment and odd and ends piled up or laying around. But we stayed here a month and never had an issue. Very quiet place. The lake is good for a relaxing evening fishing or just watching the geese. The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Don't judge a book by its cover on this one guys!

GRAYI lived there at Mac's Lakes Resort for about 3 years and rented a camper from Dave MacRoberts , you couldn't have asked for a better host or friendlier person ,Dave and his family are great folks. If you needed anything they was ready and willing to help with no thought to themselves. That's why I will always refer to them as my friends. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life when you want to say stop the world I want to get off this is the perfect place to go listen to Nature, destress and go fishing. Hey Dave and Trish miss you guys Little David as well....
Andrea RichardsLike a reviewer before stated, this is not a KOA; HOWEVER, the owner is absolutely wonderful and genuinely cares about his guests. Since we’ve been here, he has been working on improving the roads, leveling campsites, and mowing. You see him make his rounds multiple times a day, and he’s always working on something. He’s just a nice country person with a some accumulated junk, but you really couldn’t ask for a better or safer place to be in the area.
We are in LaGrange for pipeline work. This place has been a blessing because it’s the only RV Park in town, and we prefer to stay out of big cities. LaGrange is a booming area with small town charm. We highly recommend this place.
DanaRose CrispThe owners are greatand the local community is honest and friendly. The lake is stocked three times per year. So, catching a few fish is pretty easy. The site bone yard is a bit of an eyesore but really just adds to the down-home ambiance.
Michael Blevins$15 per adult and $5 per child. Beautiful lake with clearer water than most in the area. Owner was friendly and shared some of the history of the lake with us. Caught bluegill and a couple small bass. We will definitely return.
