Reviews of Kentucky Horse Park Campground
I gave this a 5 even though there are no sewer hook-ups (2 dump stations though) because it is just a wonderful place for us. Very large grassy sites and paved roads. We liked that a great bike trail starts just inside the park - goes for miles with great scenery and historical markers. You can also go next door into the horse track area, which is a must see. About $35 a night. Good customer service and friendly staff.
Beautiful 5 star event venue, higher rated than the Olympics! Very reasonable two day tickets. Great shows, informative trolley ride, beautiful horses and a museum out of this world.
Beautiful and very large! Hire a golf cart to save on energy and wearing out your boots! If you don't hire a cart to sit in take a chair. Stables and facilities are good. Camp is quite a long distance away from stables and arenas but it depends on where you would be showing as it is very spread out.
Beautiful campground with decent sized sites. Not full hookup but they have two bathhouses and two dump stations. They have a large swimming pool, 2 playgrounds, tennis courts and basketball courts. The campground has a great camp store with friendly staff.
A friendly beautiful place to camp. Lots to see and do. Big campsites. Great walking areas. Lots to learn. Activities to choose from. My favorite place to stay.
The most beautiful dives in Ky the back roads around the Ky Horse Park. The park itself has stunning views.
One of our favorite campgrounds. Search the sites to find one that is level if that is important. We usually go in April to catch Keenland racing. Within a short distance the campground is a good home base for the cemetery, Ark Encounter, bike trails, Keenland, Horse Park museum and events, Alltech Arena, and other Lexington attractions. Fishing is available inside the horse park and a short bike ride from the campground. Each site has a paved pad, water, electric, picnic table, and fire pit. If you don't like walking through sites the lung shaped layout with the campground office in the middle can cause long walks. The playgrounds are big and fun. Basketball and tennis courts and a swimming pool are also located in the campground. Finally, the locker rooms and laundry facilities are clean, big, and nice. All of these pictures are from the campground. Pictures are of the campground and bike trail connected to the campground.
Love this campground. Great access to bike trails. Nice flat spots.
This is our group this year minus four that were having fun with the train ride and live animals. Christmas lights are great! Very kids friendly!
What a beautiful park, close to downtown, spacious lots with lots of shade. The campground is close to the Horse Park where there were multiple activities going on during our 5 day stay. We took a 30 minute trail ride there that was the typical single file ride. The lots in the campground are not all level, in fact, most of them are not. There was a bicycle rally going on during our stay with lots of tent campers and folks with no regard for camper etiquette. There are two shower buildings that were quite busy, likely because there are no sewer hookups. The laundry room near the C loop had a few broken machines and the others had dirt and what appeared to be pet hair inside. The machines in the other laundry building were clean and in good operating condition. The camp store was well stocked with all the typical camp necessities. The staff were friendly and took whatever time was needed to answer questions. Overall we would recommend this campground as long as you can overlook a few things in order to be in a beautiful area at a very reasonable cost.
We stopped for one night on way to TN. Off season but great prices all the time. Stops are good size but they are all back in at 90° turn, no Angle spots. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars. Friendly staff. Pool (closed for winter) playgrounds too.
We camped with 36’ fifth wheel.
KY Horse Park is one of our favorite campgrounds! We camp there at least once and usually twice per year. Nearly every site is level and has a great amount of space with mature trees. Amenities are centrally spaced to be easily accessed for all, and the bath houses are regularly maintained. The chairs at the pool could be updated as many are broken but that is something that should be reviewed annually.
We stayed at the Kentucky Horse Park campground this past April. It was a lovely experience. The sites were large. People were friendly. Huge trees. Walking paths. Would definitely stay here again.
I had a really fun time exploring the Kentucky horse Park and getting to see so many cute horses! It was really interesting to see the dressage. I’m really happy that I was invited to go to the school little park! And by little I mean gigantic
Nice campground, although some sites are a challenge to level!!! Site 88 has NO door-side yard due to a ditch! Golf carts EVERYWHERE!! NO sewer hookup and only 2 bath houses. No path to bathhouse, so everyone cuts through campsites. Nice playground, volleyball and basketball courts. Nice staff at camp store. The locals seem to use the campground roads for road bike training!! Fast and rude!!!! You can access the Legacy bike trail from the campground which is nice. Free parking at the horse park if you tell them you're camping.
We love this campground so much. Beautiful and very clean
The Kentucky Horse Park is a beautiful and knowledgeable experience! The grounds are well kept and the museum has a plethora of information on horses! Anything from the science of the horse, to wagons, to racing, there's a lot there!
Spots are very nice. Golf cart central including after midnight. Ugh! They are everywhere! People are noisy even after lights out. Too much ambient light from every trailer. It is called lights out for a reason!
Can't go wrong on picking a site, they are all pretty shaded.
I enjoyed our stay, just need to control the extras people like to bring. Very family oriented and higher end glamping. Showers/bathrooms were clean too!
We had a really nice time at the kentucky horse park. We were coming from woodford reserve distillery, and we should have planned a little better, because we only got there a few hours before they closed, and by that time the horses were mostly turned out for the night. But we still had a chance to get up close to a few horses, which after driving around kentucky afor a few days the kids were dying to get closer to some horses. They also spent a lot of time answering our questions. There were a number of high caliber horses from various horse racing genres to see. The grounds are large and spread out which is great for a carriage. I would say to check the shows times in advance and make sure you are there with plenty of time to walk to where each show is, it looked like they would be worth checking out.
There also is a hands on for children barn, but while they enjoyed for a little the kids just wanted to head back to the real horses.
Place is great to camp and enjoy “some” nature. They provide plenty of amenities for RV, paved camping with electrics/water and primitive camping experience.
Took my kids camping here for a day and they enjoyed it. We set up the tent, made a camp and enjoyed the night. The primitive camp site is fairly close to highway and roads so you’ll be able to hear vehicles passing through. Might not be the “get away from it all” place you’re trying to find but it’s good enough for a family camp night close to our home in Lexington.
Definitely worth it.
Absolutely a fantastic day. Enjoying all the surrounding things. This is definitely a great learning experience too. And the sights are fantastic.
You can even trail ride too.
Very beautiful green campground that has enough overflow (primitive) camping to fit all the Boy Scouts from KY! 260 paved sites with water and electric, plus primitive with electric Primitive camping is a bit costly at $24 + $6 Reserve America processing fee. Primitive simply means you are out in one of the many fields and could be 1/2 mile from the restrooms Paved sites are reasonable. Lots of amenities. Clean. Kids everywhere. Safe. Friendly staff. Tennis courts, volleyball, basketball courts, playgrounds, bike paths, and two nice bathhouses. Only complaint is the shower heads spray tiny pellets that sting and anyone short gets their hair drenched whether they want to wash it or not. Plenty of warm water though. Big pool with a kid's wading pool too. Extra cost $4 pp. WiFi extra. Great location next to the Kentucky Horse Park. Camping saves you the parking fee for the horse park if you register at the campground first.
I absolutely loved this place and so much to do even in the rain during off season. You will need a full day or two to even enjoy all the this place has to offer. You will learn so much history and different cultures diring the age of useing horses to do anything before auto mobiles. The one exhibit i liked the most is on the Arabian horses in the museum. The museum is packed full of so much stuff it's unreal. Then you have other buildings to explore like my favorite the Kentucky Mounted Police Unit you and interact with and they have show that they practice you can watch. Next, you have the giant horse breeds which I never knew so many others existed other than Tennessee Draft. Then also, they have retired derby horses to see as well.
If you are even remotely near here I highly recommend going here. It is a trip of a life time for sure.
Saw the southern lights with my grandson who is 2 years old. He was so excited as was I. Beautiful display of lights. Worth seeing for sure
Great place to camp. Sites are roomy and paved. We've really enjoyed our stay. Bath house has nice showers with serious water pressure and nice shower heads. Great pool with a lifeguard. Great place to stay
Beautiful farm, museum, gift shop
Great park. We had a good time there. Came all the way from NC and it worth it
Nice venue , good organization to get you in and out quickly, Dog friendly some small things like 11am toilet paper out of main coliseum & hand dryer didn't work. .
Took time away from my 4 leagued family and visited the Kentucky Horse Farm. Wished I planned it as I did not get to do all the things offered. Your ticket is good for 2 days unless it’s Sunday. They are closed on Monday. Museums, horseback or pony rides. Horse shows and touring in a trolley drawn by 2 draft horses. $5 parking fee. $20 adult $18 senior and $ for kids.
Very nicely landscaped campground. Nice pool, store, and bathhouses. Next to Kentucky Horse Park. Good sized campsites. Only drawback is that they don't have sewer hook ups but they do have dump stations and there is a service that comes to your campsite to empty your RV tanks for a fee.
Excellent park to spend a night or longer, sites are large with ample room to park your rig. Children's play area, tattered tennis courts, and a pool. They offer winter camping, but the water at the sites are turned off. During this time the bathrooms are open and showers are available. Picnic tables and fire pits at every site.
Beautiful area and large nice campgrounds, however golf carts go speeding around and children are running willy nilly. Its not quiet and relaxing but busier than a bee hive. Staff are super and its clean but trying to walk with a disability around golf carts parked on sidewalks are a bit too hard! Someone needs to keep the rules up and ensure that for the safety of all the rules are enforced! Only reason I gave a 3!
Beautiful park. Highly recommend. Great rates too. Clean leavel spaces. Many options for all camping types. Family friendly fun place. Did not use pool or bathroom facilities so I cannot comment on that. But I'm sure their standards are equally as important and therefore great as well.
Great day at the Horse Park judging the Landrover Cross country event. It was very smoothly run!!
RV camping during event. Beautiful place and bicycle path accessible to park. Look for horses and riders. Will definitely stay at this park again.
We are new to camping so I don’t have much to compare it to but we had a wonderful time. Our site was on nice grass with a picnic table, a pump for water and electric and a slab of concrete for our car to park with nice shade. The park wasn’t super busy so we had space on either side of us but during the busy season it does seem like the sites would be fairly close together. My kids loved the pool, the park and basketball courts were really nice as well. There was also sand volleyball that was very fun. The lights went out at 10:53. Things were quiet after that. The bath houses were old but clean. The camp store was nicely stocked my kids had a blast meeting other kids! We were disappointed that the horse part was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (that wasn’t clear when we booked).
Admission is good for two days. If you are interested in the museums allow plenty of time. A person can definitely spend some time and 1 day isnt enough time to fit everything in and still enjoy your time
We did enjoy our time at the campground. It's an older campground but still in good shape. We knew going in it doesn't have sewer on the site so you either have to breakdown and go a d dump or have someone come and pump your tanks. Our biggest complaint is that some of the campers on the site are rude by driving their golf carts/minibikes right through your campsite and driving their golfcarts to fast through the campground. You can call the office or the mounted police after hours but let's be honest we know the culprits will be long gone before anyone can get there to do anything.
This is a very nice campground. Beautiful trees, great bike riding and spacious campsites. It is only water and electric hookup. The kids loved the pool. If it had sewage hookup it would be over the top.
Excellently kept and perfectly designed campground with one fatal flaw: have to walk about half a mile to the bathroom if you are in the outer loop in order to avoid cutting through other campers' sites. Sites are generous, with a spacious "backyard".
Wonderful setup, informative, historical, and enlightening. Staff was friendlly and could answer a wide range of questions, spent two days in horse park and horse show and had a wonderful time, great PR for the horse industry
I have always loved this place. If you love horses, go there! I have been there over 20 times, and it's just as wonderful each time!!!
Go to the breyerfest there every yr. Lots to do. Beautiful visitor center. Great museum. Only thing I can say. When they have big events they should have someone taking care of the restrooms. Hire a lady to keep them clean.
Great campground. Roomy sites, lots of shade trees, nice campground store, pool (in summer months), playgrounds, etc. etc. adjacent to Lexington Legacy trail bike path.
Big park you can spend all day or two exploring. Beautiful horses great staff.
A very nice place to visit. The Christmas lights attraction was very festive.
Excellent well run clean large campground. Less use and many seniors during the week, packed with families on weekends.
Went to see the southern lights. The lights were beautiful. The directions signs need to be better placed and earlier to read and follow.
Beautiful scenery, clean accommodations, friendly, helpful staff but the best part is the horses. The horses are magnificent!
This is a kinda rustic park - no sewer hookups and we found some of the sites too sloped to be able to level our RV without the front wheels being off the ground. We wound up staying in the "Primitive Electric" part which had only electric hookups. You can park any way and any where you want!
Still a gorgeous park right next to the Horse Park with tons of grassy areas and trees all over. Definitely one of the prettiest parks we've stayed in.
This is a very nice Campground. It has water, electric and 2 dump stations easily accessible for large coaches. The water pressure is very high so use a regulator. The grounds are kept very clean, the sites are spread out enough to be very comfortable. Some sites are not very level but doable. The staff is very polite and professional. Would recommend if in the Lexington, KY. area.
Was a lovely experience. The campgrounds kept very clean. The restrooms are clean. Very friendly. Quite lovely.
I’ve done some 5ks in this park. It seems very nice and clean. I’ve enjoyed the view during my run. It has a lot of parking. They have a light show during Christmas and It was very pretty.
The most exciting place to be if you're from out of town your children will love the experience and excitement this location has to offer.
Very nice clean area for the Southern lights for Christmas! Had a great time feeding the animals too. Wish I could've ridden the ponies or camels.
Beautiful campground and friendly staff. No dog park which is kind of a disappointment. Most campers have dogs and considering we are at a horse park most of your clientele are animal lovers.
No sewer hook ups on any of the sites but the bathhouses are kept up pretty decently.
I would recommend this place in early summer as there was not much going on at the end of March. I would also recommend taking the family if the kids are below 12 as the Littles were kind bored.
We so enjoyed our walk around this farm! Well kept by staff, they were friendly and helped out if needed. A must see place.
Amazing place. Must see if you enjoy horses and beautiful landscape.
Site #118 has absolutely no shade. Playground has screws loose, bars are rusted, bolts rusted and loose..didn't feel safe for the 4 and 5 years old kiddos to play on. Hubby told a worker and he said they were not allowed to work on those problems until they were told they could.
Kentucky Horsepark Campground has spacious sites with electric and water hookups. The bathhouses are clean and the pool is open during summer months, although the water was quite cold. Mounted officers patrol the campground and respond to calls for assistance. The park office sells discounted tickets to visit the adjacent Horsepark that was certainly worth the visit.
We love camping at the Horse Park. This last visit was a bit disappointing. The sight we had #45 is a complete dirt pit. I literally had to sweep and mop our 5th wheel everyday that we where there. And when we got home everything we used outside had to be washed. Rugs, chairs etc. Please try and do something to that spot.
This campground has so much to offer!! Loads of activities. You can purchase many different items in their shop, you don’t normally have so many options at campgrounds this side of the Mississippi river. I wouldn’t recommend using their tennis courts.
Great place to camp. No sewer hook-ups so a 4 star. Also the game room needs work. Only a claw machine and stickers. I wish there were more pull through sites. Hard to park a 40ft rig.
Just returned from our second visit to the Horse Park Campground, and it's a beautiful and well maintained campground. Based on my first visit, I'd give it a 5 star rating, however, I was extremely disappointed this time, with the way that a situation was handled.
We camped from July 19-22, staying in site 128. On the morning of June 20, as I was adjusting my canopy over my picnic table, I was swarmed by hornets, being stung twice. Once I'd gotten away from them, my friends and I found their nest, which was about 7 feet in the air, hanging from a limb, approximately 10 feet from our picnic table. I had unknowingly gotten too close to their nest, so they attacked.
I immediately went to the store, and spoke with the staff. Because of the incoming storms (which were VERY bad this weekend) they told me that they wouldn't be able to quickly get the pest control company out to remove it, but that they were able to move us to site 107, which was very close to our current site. I would rather have stayed in 128, which was part of a large block of sites reserved by my friends and I, however, under the circumstances and the incoming storm, I understood their point, and gladly moved.
A couple of hours later, they sent a maintenance worker out with a can of Hornet spray. He took one look at the size of the nest and realized that a can of Raid would probably just make them mad, and he left without spraying.
Up until this point, I was very happy with the way that they handled the situation. Given the size of the nest, we figured that it would require a professional pest control company, which I'm sure takes time to coordinate, especially given the weather this weekend.
The reason for the lower rating, however, is because of the response when our friends, who had reserved site 127, for the following day, asked if the nest had been removed. They have two small children, and were obviously concerned, since their site was also next to the tree, and nest. It had still not been moved, and they moved them to a different site. They were told that I had "blown it out of proportion", and that the size of the nest was very small, and not a big deal. This was upsetting, as I had been stung twice and swarmed for getting close to the nest. Also, I had not complained about anything, nor did I raise any kind of fuss. I simply asked for the nest to be removed, since it was only a few feet from my campsite. When I was told that it would take time to remove it, I understood and gladly took the replacement site.
The hive is probably 30 feet from the basketball court, and is in a high traffic lane with adults and children routinely walking right by it on the way to the pool, basketball court, and playground. I don't feel that i blew anything out of proportion, and was disappointed that I was accused of doing so.
We will continue to come to the horse park campground, because other than this comment, I've had nothing but great experiences here, however I was very disappointed that this is how I was viewed by the staff.
First time at The Southern Lights with my significant other and his family. I highly recommend bringing your family and taking part in the attractions and vendors.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as we did.
Will do this again because there is much more to see. Didn't get there early enough to go through the museum.
Beutifull place..and huge horses.
Great place to camp. It's nice and quiet this time of year. They have a nice laundry, bathroom, and bathhouse. Everything is always so clean and well taken care of. I would highly recommend staying here!
Great place to visit water and electric , small store. Nice pool , amazing events happen at the ky horse park , festivals. Horse shows. Contests.
We had an amazing time at the light show. A friend purchased a school bus, he dressed up as the Conductor from Polar Express! Provided tickets he hole punched, snacks, even hot chocolate! Was a great experience to view the festive lights! We will certainly return!
Disappointing that they don't have septic, but the spots aren't on top of each other & it's well-planned-out.
Well done with great amenities for camping, RV, etc... Perfect for the Bourbon Burn.
It very nice .clean n quiet.and big.bring a golfcart.its amazing
We camped at the Horsepark for the first time and found the sites to be spacious, compared to other parks. The restrooms are clean with plenty of showers. The store is well stocked. Masks are required to enter the store, so be prepared. There are two large dump stations. Our site had both electric and water. I don't think there's any sites with sewers, but we did see a truck that will empty your tanks for a fee. The park is on the Legacy Trail for ready access to run, walk and bike. Of course, the Horsepark is also walkable from the campground. Highly recommend.
Just camped for an overnight. Love the Christmas lights.
Kentucky Horse Park Campgrounds is one of our all-time favorite campgrounds! It’s clean and quiet and so pretty!! This year they had their Southern Lights Christmas Lights Display up, and it was so beautiful after dark!! We will definitely be back!
The site pads are super narrow here. If it rains at all then it gets very muddy. We will try again when weather is better to be able see the horse park.
Great place to visit for all ages. Horse Park is beautiful. Employees are friendly at the campground and the park. We enjoyed are stay at the campground. It is close to the Legend bike trail.
An experience to have year after year. The long lines went by quickly (attended 23rd Dec.), staff was friendly, there were awesome mini fire pits to warm up by, ponys/camels/petting zoo all dosiel and well kept. So glad the inside was open this year but no retail vendors still, only the gift shop was open.We didn't see Frosty but overall a good time for the family.
The camp grounds are clean and the people are very nice. Will stay again every time I stay in Lexington. We were there during the Christmas lights show.
Update: 8/01/2022
Well, the Horsepark continues to go downhill. Rain brings water and floods 55% of the campgrounds because they do not have grass. They need to put some pee gravel down for placement of rugs. That way the mud doesn't cover the campers' rugs. Some people had to go buy tarps and put down and still were muddy and flooded. It seems the Horsepark CEO spends all the money on the park and none on the campground to keep it up.
It is a shame too, because the Horsepark campground use to be one of the nicest places to camp, whether private or state owned. It is not the case any longer.
People were buying tarps and even their own bales of hay to throw down at the campsite to keep mud out of their rigs. Totally uncalled for, the state and workers at the Horspark campground should take far more pride in it. It represents the state.
Sad.
Memorial Day Weekend was fair this year. As usual park was full and over flow was in use. Pool was not open apparently due to some type of mechanical problem. Although it was full of water, not sure what the deal was. Basketball, volleyball, tennis courts and playgrounds were used all day long by someone. Little ones every where enjoying camping life.
Had the usual activities, except no golf cart parade. Which, to many was disappointing. But rain 2 days. That would've been a wet ride.
Did hear many say they couldn't figure out why the grass was not mowed. But all in all still a nice weekend. Still wishing for FHU sites.
Theres nothing better then to pay your respects to the greatest racehorse of all time...Man O War!!
Nice campground. Plenty of places to walk or bike ride.
Visited for Southern Lights. Magical experience.
Awesome place. Water and electric only but has 2 dump station areas. Great bath houses. And Christmas decorations at every camp site. Be cool.
It is a beautiful place. I know lots of people who enjoy going there when it comes to horses. I went for a craft event. Was very well organized. I enjoyed it greatly.
LOVED THE SOUTHERN LIGHTS...HAVE WANTED TO GO FOR YEARS! WISH THE TRAFFIC PACE WAS A LITTLE SLOWER (SO MUCH TO ENJOY). WE KNEW WEEKEND NIGHTS WERE BUSIER BUT ONLY HAD SUN. EVENING. GREAT EVENT!
The trip of 3 miles of Christmas lights in Kentucky Horse Park was for sure a highlite of my visit to my son in Kentucky USA
Our family goes to the Horsepark main area every year and we have enjoyed all the activities that they have to offer ever since the park was first opened. It just keeps getting better and better year after year! We stay at the campground and everything is always perfect! Thanks to them and all the great staff, we look forward to this next years next visit! Thanks
We enjoyed every moment at the park. Beautiful grounds with friendly and helpful staff. The breeds show and champions show were awesome. All the handlers and riders were willing to share their knowleeand answer every question. What beautiful animals!
I enjoy camping here with friends. It is close to home and convenient. However, I feelit is overpriced.
Stopped by to see a few friends there camping. Nice place to pull in your camper
We liked it, it was nice being so close to the Kentucky Horse Park. We rented a golf cart which are available on the grounds and got to see so much of the 3000 acres of the park. Beautiful and lots of history. We were lucky enough to go on a weekend for a triathlon event so spent hours watching those. As far as campground, good space between each camper. But no sewer hookups on any of the sites which was kind of a drawback if you are staying a while. Definitely recommend the golf cart rental to take in all the beauty of the 3000 acres.
Great space! Took same day walk in given had space! Greenery and trees!
Roads were cleared. Beautiful.
Nice campground but most of the sites are not level and will require some work to get close to level. Water and electric are available at each of the sites. Would be nice if they would put some gravel around the utilities and if they did not allow rugs to be left on the grass which kills it and leaves a muddy mess for others when it rains (and unfortunately it was raining when we arrived).
Camping spots are crazy off level, mostly front to back. Needs work to be better...
Always a joy to visit this place. Was there this time for the Retired Racehorse Project. The fun had was just great! Meet friends we know well and some from when we competed with in 2018. Just really great fun!
I've been coming here every year on Labor Day weekend for the past...five? Six years? It's been a while. Certainly long enough to call it a tradition. So I feel safe in saying that it's one of the nicer parks I've stayed at. My only experience is in the hook-up RV spots but nearly every one is shaded, some certainly more than others. The pool, when open, is clean and nicely maintained. The shower facilities are nice and private, although the doors to the building are usually left open so there are a fair amount of bugs. It's camping so that shouldn't be a big deal to you. Rates vary pretty significantly depending on the time of year and obviously if it's a holiday weekend. I look forward to coming back each year.
A lot of the sites are extremely muddy. I guess I was thinking there would be more grass. Had to constantly clean mud out of my RV even with a rug down outside. It had rained the day before.. Also, there were several sites that didn't have working water hookups. Disappointing if you come in after the office is closed. Had to wait until the next day for water.
Excellent facility - clean, well maintained, and filled with interesting things to do and see. Great family destination.
I went to the horse park for the first dose of my vaccine. The military persons were very nice and helpful. The registration staff were so kind. The lady that gave me my shot was the sweetest lady ever!!! Her name was Mary Jane and she just melted my heart and for some reason put my mind a little at ease:)
Beautiful park, however most sights need some work such as gravel around site slabs to cover muddy areas. Nice pool for summer campers. No sewer hookups or cable TV. We come yearly for the blue grass festival. Hope some site improvements will be done before June. Bath house recently renovated.
Place was awesome! Nice clean bathrooms, beautiful park. We happened to camp here on our way to Florida, and much to our surprise the park had the most amazing Christmas light display. It was amazing. They call it Southern Lights. Super cool!!
Great experience, well maintained, glad we stopped.
Beautiful park...easy in easy out...nice, quiet, and Tranquil.
Great place to take the kids to show them the breeds of horses and how they helped throughout history.
Great place for families and clean most of the time. Last time there it needed mowing, when we got thete and it didn't get mowed for five more days just before our time eas up. Get for the grandkids biking and swimming.
I went to an arenacross event here. This place is incredible!
Anything horse's, here for the 3 day...
Thank you Land Rover & US Equestrian.
The whole crew was so accommodating.

It was nice and clean, the bathhouse was very clean as well, unfortunately the museum was closed and there were not any horse shows taking place.
Kids. Loved. The . Playground. And. They. Have.a Kids. Pony. Rides. And horse riding
The best at a world class facility. We stayed for three nights Memorial Day weekend. The campground was full and we had to book it months in advance to get a space. Very clean restrooms/showers. Most RVs here were large, expensive units. Our pop-up was dwarfed by them.
We stopped here overnight because it was on our route to NC. The park was quite busy on a Friday. We got the last spot that would accommodate our rig. We loved the location. There is great walking and biking in this area. We walked over to the horse farm which had some horse jump events going on, and is free if you are staying in the campground. We will probably spend a few extra days here the next time we are passing through to thoroughly enjoy the park and surrounding area.
Camp sites are spacious. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Good water pressure in showers but showers are a little small but not to bad. There is a small store for basic needs on site. Game room (but nothing to brag about). Laundry that takes quarters but no quarter machine? Hmm. Anyway, it rained the whole time we were there so we didn't swim but the pool is a decent size. Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely go back again.
Very nice, safe and fun place for family camping. This was our second time and it was even more fun than the first. Facilities are clean, very nice pool with life guard staff. Many basketball courts and play grounds. Backs up to a horse park that is great for bike riding in addition to a trail system after an easy 8 miles ride you are in downtown Lexington.
Be careful which site you book. 1st night at #227 was super steep. Could not put jacks down or slides out in 43ft A Class. Moved to #197 it was great. Level site. It was booked online, read the description it does say it's a steep site. Had problems with electric box on #197 and we were provided with immediate assistance and electrician was there within the hour. There's no sewer hookup but the 2 dump stations are easy to get to and through. Nice place to stay book ahead early for weekends very busy. Will be back.
Extremely friendly and incredibly knowledgeable staff. Worth the trip even in the winter. Mr Dave at the barn of champions had some wonderful stories about the horses honored there at the park and the living champions there in the barn.
Didn't get to see one horse. I was disappointed. Gift shop reasonable. Museum was informative but. No petting any. Hors s
This park is a wonderful place to stay! Paved roads and sites, lots of space between sites, lots of trees and grass. The campground is well laid out. The staff are friendly and very helpful. So glad to have found this park! Will definitely return !
Spacious. Only the gift shop open during Covid19.
This is a very attractive campground with lots of mature trees, a firepit with a grill and a picnic table at each site. They don't have sewer hookups but they do have a dump station. If they had sewer hookups, I'd give them 5 stars. There are play areas for children, a bath house, laundromat and a small store on the premises too. The golf cat gate at the back of the campground gives easy access to the show arenas on the KHP grounds.
Enjoyed the 5k walk through the Christmas lights!
Restrooms are very clean and the campground is well maintained, but the dryers didn't work well. After running it through, I eventually took the laundry out to a laundromat where the dryers worked fine. Would be nice if there was recycling.
Very nice campground. Walking distance to Horse park. Lots of shade from trees. Be careful when choosing a spot as some RV's and 5tj wheels were jacked way up on one end to level.
I'm here delivering campers for rent a couple times a week. There's a reason why they stay booked up. Nice flat campground with plenty to keep a family busy. If you can get in for Halloween I'd highly recommend it
We stay at this campground every year for the wonderful Festival of the Bluegrass each June. This year we noted that renovations were underway at "our" bathouse, on the pool side of the park. They were very functional for the large event, but a few things weren't quite done. Regardless, they were in good functional shape and looked a LOT better than last year. There was no lack of hot water, even with the endless string of folks showering, a welcome change. The nearby recreational equipment was showing it's age, with a volleyball net that was atrocious that they still have it up. The basketball court has cracks that are big enough to lose a kid in. The pool was in good shape, but sure could use a little heat. There is perfect solar collector space on the roof of the bath house, and the pool could be used several more months a year with a simple system. We toured the grounds, and are pleased to see the park continuing to thrive. As ones who always select an "inner loop" site, we could sure vote for a more reliable timer on the lighting. They are super bright for the courts and playground, but the cut off time is inconsistent. When they do cut off, it's pretty abrupt, and it can be disorientating to some. Perhaps a couple of lights that stay on all night? Or an overall reduction in brightness as bulbs change out? Thanks for a nice stay and all the continuing work to keep the park lovely.
Nice grassy sites with a concrete pad. Many sites have mature trees. Clean big showers with fantastic pressure and hot water. Nice stocked store. Pool looked great but closed after Labor Day weekend.
I loved petting the horses and talking to the handlers.
Beautiful clean park. Lots of green and space.
Campground is quite large, water and electric only. Lots of beautiful shade trees and lots to see.
Beautifully kept! A swimming pool, 2 laundromats on site, a camp store, volleyball, tennis, etc. and it adjoined the Kentucky Horse Park allowing easy travel between the two with a golf cart. Would definitely recommend!
Immaculate campground with great washrooms. Shower drain was clogged and filled to my ankles but otherwise clean and well maintained. Little privacy at sites but they are well spaced out. Good amenities.
Always beautiful. Staff can be hot or miss on the kindness. But that's ok they deal with a lot on a daily basis. Beautiful place to take a stroll.
Went camping this weekend. Very nice. Our spot a little sparse on trees, but there were plenty in other spaces. Bathrooms clean. The store was clean and staff very friendly. Items not priced too terribly high. I would recommend it
Very beautiful campground with nice sites. Access to the legacy trail which makes for some great bike rides or running!
Beautiful campground. Friendly staff. Sites are very spacious and level. Shopping within 5 miles. Pet friendly. Walking trails. Enjoyed our stay and would come back.
Nice place. Water and electricity. Wouldn't want to be in some of the sites during a rain storm since they are dirt. Some sites are mostly grass. Overall I would stay in the park again.
What a beautiful property. You can easily spend the better part of a day touring the grounds and visiting the numerous breeds of horses.
Great place, high quality exhibits, very friendly staff. Worth the trip! I was even impressed by the restaurant, despite low expectations initially. Massive chicken pecan salad with very green spring mix lettuce, and they didn't skimp on the toppings.
This is a great place for family fun! You can camp with tents ,rv, campers. If you don't have one Bluegrass rv. Will deliver one out to you stocked with everything you need. They have a pool and playgrounds. Just an all around fun safe place for your children!
Our first time camping at the horse park. Camp site are all very nice and big and a beautiful place to enjoy family and friends. We will definitely be back. We love it
Amazing, so many beautiful horses!! I was impressed by the cleanliness of the park.
Took our Cub Scouts there for a fall campout. We stayed in the primitive area for groups. Inexpensive, wide open without the fear of disturbing others. Easy to get to with excellent facilities for bathrooms.
Loved the lights. We took a ride on the gentle 🐪. Feed the animals at the petting zoo. It was a great family experience thank you do much …
Our favorite campground! Campsites are paved and spacious and the campground is surrounded by horse country and the Kentucky Horse Park borders three sides. Great place for kids with big playgrounds, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, and a pool. It's a safe place for riding bikes and the hills will give you a workout. You can get discount tickets to the Kentucky Horse Park at the campground office.
Beautiful display of lights. Can't wait to come back next year and see them again. Fun for the whole family.
Well maintained showers/restrooms. Plenty of sites. No full hookups though.
We camped here for 3 nights while on our way north after wintering in the south. Yep, snowbirds & full-timers. I had selected & reserved a site online well in advance, and we arrived, found our site in the "B" loop and checked in at the Store/Office. Nice folks. Once we began setting up in earnest, it became clear that our site had a lot of slope back-to-front and side-to-side. Our 42' 5th wheel has automatic leveling, and I had to use all of my additional blocks for the jacks and wheels on the front & low side. Paved, yes. Level, no—in fact the most un-level site I've ever had. Looking around the loops, there are some sites that are far more level, and also many with a lot of slope. I need to ding them for that. Sewer would be nice, but we knew that coming in and there are two nice dump stations. 50 amp electrical was proper & reliable, and the water pressure was great. The bath house in the "B" loop was closed for renovations, so that's another sticking point. All in all, I think this park has some merit, but if I roll in again I'll want to eyeball the available sites first. Safe travels!
Great place for the family to go and enjoy the day
Beautiful site. Water connection, even though not listed as present. Very bad internet... Useless. Highly recommended anyway. Good Verizon, so you can use hotspot.
Unbelievable location, pretty quiet, beautiful scenery. You can have full hook up, electric only, tent with or without power, two dump stations, store, great shower house. Everything you need.
Came here to spend 4 Nights with our 3 horse Lq while competing next door at the horse park. Very nicely set out, great welcome staff. Clean bathrooms, and awesome spray type showers! Very welcome, after our almost straight through drive fro. Phoenix Arizona. Will definately stay again here on our next visit.
Only slight peeve, was that the shop closed at 7pm. Tis all good!
Great campground! Beautiful and well appointed. A bit disappointed that someone stole our astroturf that we had attached to the ground in front of our door, but, that's not the campgrounds fault. We'll be back!
Always a great place to stay.
If you like horses this is a great spot to visit. You can pet some horses, go on horseback rides. There is also a horse museum and a few different horse shows to see.
Nice, but many of the lights were out. They need WAY more attractions for $25! The indoor part was really nice though. The vendors were good!
Exceptionally nice ,the pads are long but narrow. The place is beautiful. The bathrooms are clean and warm. They have laundry room.
Very nice, spacious sites
Campgrounds was nice but would be much better if some improvements were made! One thing we have always honored at most campgrounds we have stayed in is to honor your fellow camper by staying off of and between camping sites, I have seen children on bikes or groups of bikes running between rv sites and close to campers usually not alowed and written on rental agreement. Also is the use of utv and mini bikes I know golf carts are allowed but off road power equiptment and driving them between the campsites on the grass areas! Wood fires are always nice but also there was a few that had brought there own fire wood which is a nono at most state and private rv grounds, one rv had brought in about a 3rd of a face cord of wood on his flatbed truck towing a travel trailer, not good for the other trees in park that will get contaminated with the carried in wood. The grounds have dump stations and no full hookups this can be a problem for some one camper on our loop must have been dumping his gray water out at night there was a heavy smell for spoiled water! And the dump stations need instruction, the one we used upon leaving was in dire need of repairs on the concrete, the station we used has a removable lid over pipe which is deep down in the concrete which is broken concrete and lid, some camper had dumped without removing lid and the sewage had ran over one third of the parking area for dump station so a little after updating and repairs are due! But the sites are nice and large mostly backin sites, grass is nice but a side porch area would be better with luck on our side It didn't rain the whole time there but there was no grass left past the side door exit area right past the pavement, so a patio rug was used and with dry weather the bottom side was trashy but it would have been muddy if wet. But still a nice stay!
Very clean. Very friendly. Nice paved sites but, not exactly level either side to side or front to back. Great access the Horse Park.
You need to take your advertisement off for the internet. We were backed up to the pool and never had Internet the whole 4 days. Even tried it early mornings and on Monday when kids had gone home. The site was nice, but needed to be mowed.
Nice clean park. Great pool. Bring plastic to put under your outdoor rug. When it rains most campsites can get really muddy.
It's a very beautiful place with many different areas to walk, ride, and learn about horse racing in general. Its definitely worth the trip.
Well organized park. Although it all seems level I saw a lot of folks struggling to level rigs. Price is great. Bathrooms great. Plenty to do if you like horses.
Beautiful grounds. Highly encourage people to make it here if you can.
This is a definite stop for every horse lover. The horse park is amazing and you could spend the entire day here. The only thing I found lacking was information on the history of the horse park.
I camped in the primative area with electricity and it was great. Minimum noise at night. My only suggestion is to not go where goggle sends you on maps. Follow the signs for the camp grounds which is beyond the horse park.
Absolutely beautiful place. I would recommend going if you are close by!
Clean ,friendly, good for walking, riding bikes. We were in the primitive with electric. Lots of room. We would go again
This is a large rv campground next to Kentucky horse park including events and horse history museum. I would have given them 5 stars if they had full hook ups. We stayed here October 1st, appreciated the shade and a quiet location for our class b rv. Thank you.
The horsepark is a very nice place to spend some time camping or going to a venue. Nice big trees in the camp grounds. If you haven't been you need to check it out.
Really nice place. Quiet, peaceful. Wi-Fi is pretty outdated. We were parked under an oak tree so the constant barrage of acorns was a little annoying. Next time we'll ask for a different spot.
We stay here over 4 times a year. Great place for kids and horse related activities. Large pool with lifeguard. Camp store has last minute items including ice and firewood.
Amazing stay here. Bathrooms were kept sooo clean. The Horse Park itself was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were amazing to our pets
Great experience for free hats off day. Lots of activities for the kids and treats for everyone. Had already closed the inside stuff
We visit the House Park often and always enjoy it.
Great facility. Lots of amenities and staff is very friendly and helpful.
Park is really nice, like the bathhouse and has a nice camp store.
Great facility with an awesome pool. The ONLY reason they get a 4 star is the pool was down for a day during our visit. Facility was clean, staff was friendly and helpful.
Very nice place. Awesome store if you need anything while your camping with very reasonable prices. Loved the camp ground and site. Had a wonderful time.
Nice place to camp. It has water, electricity, showers, bathrooms, and a little store in the center. Fun place to go if you don't like to "rough it".
Have an amazing time here in October
Excellent venue and their response to Covid is above and beyond
Only drove through for bathroom break on horse farm tour. Looks beautiful.
Nice large park situated next to beautiful horse park. Facilities within the park are decent. Can be messy if it rains as there tends to be a lot of standing water.
Fun and clean atmosphere for children, facilities were decent for the quantity of campers.
It's ok but not the best I still recommend KOA
Was very nice only thing lacking is the fact of not having sewer hook up at the camp site but there is dump stations with water for clean out
I love this little campground because there are lots of events like festival of the bluegrass. It is generally clean but I have noticed they stopped their trash service and require the trash to be brought to the main facility.
They really improved facilities cleaning. Great to get outdoors. Always a pleasure hitting Lexington coffee shops, breweries and restaurants.
The primitive camping area to the right as you enter is a great place to let your dog run around and get some exercise for yourself. I like to go in the winter when it is deserted.
Very nice campground! However, it does not have sewage or cable hook-ups on sites. Instead, there is a dump station for sewage.
Very nice place. I was there for my covid shot, but seeing the grounds and set up at the arena, I was very impressed!!
Nice sites easy to get to
Southern Light's is 'beautiful' yet again this year!! We took our family from out of town who loved it. Great job!! Merry Christmas!!
I always enjoy animals
Great place! Clean, friendly, good price, you'll want to pack a picnic though!
Great place to visit with the family
Quick walkthrough, looked great, would love to go back when I had more time...
First time there. Enjoyed the campgrounds, despite the weather.
When it rains the sites are muddy. Pads are small but area is clean, good for an overnight stay.
Sites are nice and big so that we can have plenty of room to set up a canopy in addition to your outdoor carpet.
Very spacious clean campground. Store offers a large selection and the workers were courtious and attentive. Look forward to coming back.
Very clean and well maintained campground. The bath houses were renovated this spring and are excellent with ample hot water and pressure. 👍👍 …
Nice place, especially during breyerfest
Great facility with nice camp spots, suitable for large rigs. Well stocked campsite and very clean bath and shower houses.
Nice fun place
Great campground. Friendly staff, fully stocked camp store, clean modern restrooms/showers. Nice location to Horse Park and Lexington.
Visited for the Bourbon Burn great time.
I'm here for the Secretariat Festival starting tomorrow and hope to see Patrick Sullivan and Gami tonight or tomorrow!
Great for kids and horse lovers
The Horsepark is awesome! Someone told me that they have at least one example of every horse breed here. A must-visit for horse-fans of all types!
Great campground at the Kentucky Horse Park. We've stayed there many times and aleays love it. Nice camp store and decent bath house with showers.
Clean facility. Respectable staff. Expectations were met. Had a good time
Great place not far from the highway, and a reasonable price for the night. Bathrooms were super clean too.
Nice place, beautiful grounds. Wish the rv sites were a little wider.
Saw the light show. Very nice. Can pay to ride a camel and feed all sorts of animals.
Great campground! Nice spacious sites and park was well cared for!
Very nice campground. Bathhouse is very clean. Sites are spacious and level .Highly recommend
Nice one night stay. Easy in and out from I-75. Very clean and quite.
Water elect only and no cable.
Land Rover 3 day event dressage segment very exciting
Great sites, clean facility, store open during reasonable hours, horse park next door!!!
One of the nicest campgrounds ive been too, Great for kids.
I camp in their "primitive electric" area and love it. This place has incredible amenities and the on site store staff are super duper nice!
Was a rainy period so sites we're a bit dirty, but conviently located to Horse Park, shopping & eateries, like many state parks, not full hookup but has dumpstation
Went for Covid Vaccines. Signage was great, and facility clean. All went well in organization and layout of facility use.
What a great place to experience.
One of the better deals for camping in the summer. The pool is free to campers and it's a nice pool. Camp spots are pretty good to.
Great facilities staff were super friendly the whole week we were there. There are no sewer hookups but the have 2 large dump stations with 2 dump each.
If you want to see a real working horse farm and get warm Kentucky welcome then look no further than the Kentucky Horse Park. Horseback riding, shows, museums and more are just some of the things to see. This is a must see 😊 …
We love camping here. Very family and kid friendly. Our new favorite local campground.
Cheap, clean and convenient . . . but lacking amenities. No Wi-Fi, no sewer. Totally worth it, though, for a couple nights.
Pretty cool place. If I were a horse owner, I wouldn't hesitate to go there for a little fun.
Had a great time with my partner and pup at the vintage market today ☺️
Great place for picnic lunch, shelter tables & restrooms available. Great time
Spacious sites. Friendly people everywhere.
The park seems to have better maintenance this year than they did last year. Beautiful entry Anna Campground was great
It's cool but I like more woodsy type of camping
Loved the park and had great time horseback riding with family
Very beautiful place. Great place to take your kids at
Nice camping when visiting the horse park
We saw Southern lights and stopped in the Christmas village. It's well worth it.
well I think it should be better. For the money it should be a lot better especially for people that cannot afford it $25 a car come on that's a little outrageous.
Awesome horse show place
Clean, well maintained and very nice staffing.
Bathrooms are spotless.
And lots of room to move around.
It's a great venue as always. Will be returning soon
It was my first time visiting and I absolutely loved it.
Great place to go on a trail ride. Great trail horses and staff
Very nice park. Needs to put in sewer hook ups at each site.
Lots of fun at Christmas time. The petting zoo was a hit for social distanced fun.
Interesting campground. This is a resort campground with all the amenities and noise to go with it. Great access to Kentucky Horsepark.
Amazing experience. Horses are so well cared for. Staff is very kind and knowledgeable!
Beautiful! The museum is very good & the arena hosts many horse shows each year.
Lots are large and grassy. Very nice campground with easy access from the freeways and to downtown.
Spacious sites, great campground. Will put on my list of preferred and goto places.
Great Grand kids loved it 👏 hope to return this fall food from trailer very expensive not so good …
I only can voice about the Bluegrass Festival they have.... it's NOT what Jean and Bob Cornett started 45 years ago..... PC and silly stuff have taken over and shed a dimness on it..... Sad!
Everyone was so informative. Really enjoyed it.
Our first visit with the horse Park campground we love the atmosphere we will be making more trips back
Ride a bike in and out of downtown Lexington by bike if you get the chance. Dedicated trail runs between the two. About 8 miles, one way.
Wonderful place to camp. Very convenient to Georgetown and Lexington. Outstanding museum on site. Friendly staff.
Absolutely must visit if your a horse person, an amazing facility.
Great facility, unfortunately when booking they forgot to mention one of the shower houses was under repair. Generous sites, friendly staff.
It was great as always,we love staying here, the Christmas lights were amazing, wonderful staff
Absolutely beautiful this time of year especially the Christmas light display!
We stay at KHP campground every time we are in the area. Camping is well layed out, lots of space. Right next door to the KHP museum and exhibits.
I had my 1st covid vaccine here. No wait but the walk was a bit far.
Loved it! So nice to see Man O War and Secretariat statues!
If you are ever in the area you HAVE to visit this place. Top notch facilities
Amazing place, so many horses, a whole bunch of activities, and everyone is so nice!!!❤️❤️❤️
Showers water pressure was extreme, but the facilities were nice and as expected when it comes to cleanliness.
Great get away. Huge trees, huge camping spots, clean bathrooms/showers and wonderful bike trails.
Grounds are tore up from camper's cutting short when pulling out, needs better job of repair, office staff a little surley, not the friendliest that I am use to, as I have been coming for over forty years
Went to see Monster Truck Wars at Alltech Arena. Kids loved it
I loved to see how owners cared that much to bury their horses and me monuments and statues.
Took my wife there to get her Covid vaccine. Very nice people all around.
Great experience for any horse lover! Christmas lights were awesome!
Big place lots of things going there I was there for my covid shot lot of people but the line moved quickly
Need to put fill dirt in where campers park to much drop off between where camper is parked & the ground.
I always enjoyed showing my horse there many years ago. Now it's just awesome.
Level spot. Nice space between campsites. Excellent electric and water pressure.
Nice facilities. Overeager traffic cops are on power trips. Comical.
Absolutely stunning park. Went through Southern Lights and loved it.
We were there for the TNT tractor pull. It was fun!!! The drink prices were they the roof though!!!!
Very nice park. Not much privacy. Too many golf carts.
Nice park with a pool. Would be 5 stars if they had sewer at the sites.
A drive loop through the campground geared towards kids to see Christmas lights.
Vary cool
Been here before, not this trip. Very nice, I will be back
Only stayed 1 night, amenities were great, seemed clean. Playground, pool and wifi!
Awesome place. Nothing going on but they still let the horses out.
Wow awesome beautiful Christmas light show! Definitely a must see for your agenda!
Beautiful place and easy way to meet people from all states
Shower rooms were very clean. Troopers on duty were kind and helpful. Top notch!
Really small camper pads. And difficult to back into.
Wonderful campsites. Flat and spacious. Fun people.
Loved the whole experience
Nice park, but no spaces available and the overflow area was blocked.
Went there to get the 1st covid shot. The lines were long but they moved fairly quick.
Nice grass for kids to run though a little crowded. The pool closed at 7:00p.m. In July!
KHP is never disappointing!
It's like a mini, tranquil city. Plenty of things for kids and adults to do. Playgrounds, pool, and museums.
Store closes too early and the grass needs cutting bad. And the pool is going to be closed.
Beautiful place. Had a great weekend camping.
I made a deliver here. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great place to camp. Clean restrooms and showers friendly staff.
Clean and would be an awesome place to go and see the Christmas lights they were putting up.
Great place to stop on the way to Florida. Their Christmas light display was amazing!
A beautiful venue with mature native trees, lush surroundings and fine folks to help you feel welcome!
The restrooms were not very clean, and they were pretty dark. Other than that, it was a nice place.
Great camp sites. Only stayed one night.
Went here for the covid vaccine. Never realized how pretty and how big the place really is.
Beautiful place.. I'm here for the Kentucky Bourbon Burn bike ride, this is my first time visiting Kentucky.
Kentucky Horse Park has real pretty horses that you can go by and watch them in their shows you can also rent you a golf cart to get around
Pretty good place to camp. Nice pool inside as well.
Very clean and respectful place definitely want to camp there
This park has full hookups, good spacious sites, and helpful staff.
Excellent campground. Grounds well kept very nice overall !
Gorgeous. Sit in the cafe and watch the equestrians, ride your bike for miles around the park.
The most cared for beautiful camp park I've ever been in.
Nice campground. All back ins. If hauling 5th wheel, suggest outer ring.
Great campground.... There is also a little store, pool and laundry facility....
Always a good place to lay over on the way home to MI from south. Easy in and out, large sites.
Get ready to walk but very educational didnt know much about horses till I came here
Great RV park. Large sites and very well laid out
I got my covid shots here so I'm a fan of that. Got to pet a beautiful horse.
Very nice. A lot of history about all horses
Great park and so reasonable. Large sites and lots to do
Very interesting place. Learn everything about horses.
Nice restaurant, also.
Another favorite campground. One of my kindly neighbors fixed my RV.
Love the horse park!
Nice place. Lot of camping sites
Best horse show venue I’ve ever attended.
Wide open spaces, peaceful, self checkin after hours, great prices.
Went to a Good Guys car show, had a great time, nice park!
Best place for interacting and learning about horses
Always enjoy staying here, beautiful background peaceful.
A great place to camp. A bit pricey but nice.
It was fun & informative!
Very nice place had engagement pics took here
Beautiful trailer park. Paved pads. Awesome bike trails.
Beautiful campground. Wish they had sewer hookups.
Excellent sites! I only wish they were full hook up.
Great showers, pool, good spot with nice shade trees
Wifi was never available. Sites were a muddy mess
Love this campground stzy here all the time...kinda close to down town ...
Great campground, reasonably rates, frequent couple times a year
Went here for my Covid vaccine and the military personnel there run a tight ship!
Amazing horse riding .. you should try it.
Beautiful camping spot. Large well kept sites
I went to see the Southern Lights display, and they did a fantastic job! I will return.
Great campground! Very clean and well kept
Beautiful park, many things to do. Great for kids.
Visited friends in the horse eventing competition. Not being horse people it is very impressive campground and event site.
We always love visiting here! It’s a mecca for any horse lover.
Clean and nice amount of room between the sites.
Such a fun and unique place to visit.
Beautiful grounds. Large and spacious. Good views.
Great camping, big rig friendly, right off highway.
Good park but female in camp store needs better service training.
Fabulous; if you love horses; it's a Must !!
Beautiful place. Horses seem happy.
Great campground

Beautiful campground, clean bath house, lots of shade.
Five out of five, definitely want to come back.
Excellent campground nothing to complain about at all.
