Reviews of Beckley Creek Park
Great place to enjoy nature alone, as a couple, or as a family. Lots of space! You will never feel crowded!
There are soccer fields, splash pad, shallow creek to wade in with shell sandbanks,, tons of picnic tables, and a lot of walking trails! It's also per friendly!
I added pictures of the fountain. I didn't get a lot of pictures. I was enjoying my time unplugged most of the time.
My kids can't wait to go back again!
Always a great time at Beckley Creek Park. The dog park is nice and well kept filled with regular, responsible dog owners. The playground and splash park is fun for the little ones with lots of equipment. The egg lawn is a wide open space and the trails really have something for everyone - bikers, hikers, walkers, dog walkers, kayakers, etc.
The farmers markets, soccer fields, and communal garden just add to the fun. There is a nature center as well but don't know much about the offerings from there. Great parking too, tons of spots spread throughout the park.
What a delightful and incredible Shangri-la!
There is something for everyone!!!! No exaggeration. It may be a bit far out, but it is worth the drive.
This is truly one of the nicest places in our state!
First time in Kentucky and as a park lover I was thrilled to find this huge beautiful runnable walkable dog friendly park with miles of trails. Highly recommend.
Very beautiful park with lots of walking trails. I wish there were more benches along the trails for less physically fit people to stop and rest on. So far, I’ve only tried walking one of the trails. The pictures are from The Black Willow Trail. I couldn’t finish the trail that day because it was VERY hot outside and the one bench I found to rest on along the trail was a scalding hot concrete bench that would burn you if you sat on it.
Great park for a walk or run. The park has a lot of trails that lead through wonderful nature
One of the family favorites! We go here all the time to enjoy the playground, splash pad, & easy trails. The playground is mostly for bigger kids with the exception of the area designated for the littles. Beware of the weekdays, it seems like we always land there at the same time as the field trips!
We love the small trail behind the playground. Perfect for the kids with multiple access points to the creek.
An amazing place, trails for all skill levels, huge open spaces for sports or to let the kids run. Kayaking access, miles of paved trails for walking or biking, several picnic areas and a huge playground and splash park.
Decided to try somewhere new and take the kids fishing. This Park is HUGE!! Like you can get lost in there huge, we didn't but we could have. We picked a spot and fished for a while (5.5 hours). The kids didn't do good at first but as it got later they were catching little bluegills and turtles left and right. The hubby didn't do so well but according to what a "regular" told us, for what he is fishing for we were in the wrong spot. So we know that for next time. The park seemed really clean and nice, the people were nice as well. We will definitely come back and try again just us adults to see how we do in a different spot. Absolutely beautiful park!!
Amazing place! Creek watching, walking , biking, jogging trails, dog park etc.
Weather just to relax, workout, picnic or just some time in the sun; this place has plenty of options.
Plenty of parking areas, clean and safe place.
Easy access and just an amazing natural area to enjoy perfect weather and soak the views.
Great trails, lots of variety and gorgeous vistas. Wonderful for dogs, bikes, walking, biking, running... The only thing I haven't done here is canoe/kayak. This is such a plus for Louisville and surrounding communities.
We love this place! I live out of town but anytime I’m in Louisville I love to go walk here! So many gorgeous spots and great trails! I especially love the creek, all of the gorgeous tall grass, and well designed modern pavilions!
Great park! I just went to watch a soccer tournament but it was great. I was told they have multiple trails and an awesome play ground. Go check it out!
Louisville is so lucky to have this park system! My favorite park in the whole state. Beautiful, safe, and big enough to ride a full day in!
Lots of nice paved walking/cycling paths. There are also trails through the woods for more experienced hikers, dog parks divided by large and small/medium breeds, and kayaking down Floyd's Fork.
Always a beautiful park. We bring our dogs here to the pup park & they have a blast. Long hiking trails thru the wooded areas & paved path ways along the roads make for easy walking & biking. Plus they have a awesome Shaved icey truck that keeps the kids happy all summer long.
This is an amazing park for those living in or traveling through Louisville. Ran a half marathon there last week. Beautiful. I will be returning!
The park is huge. There are so many things to do between dog park, kids' nature center, playgrounds, farmer's market, hiking trails, walking paths, gardens, ponds, creeks, soccer fields, fishing, etc.
My own personal Mecca! I adore this piece of earth. It has simple, roaming trails and vast fields of wildflowers. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been. Truly feels like a wild and vibrant garden from another time.
I absolutely love to take my kids to this park! I have a 1 yr old and 7 yrs old and they have play equiptment that they can both play with! They also have water sprinklers that they keep turned on as long ad it is warm out.
The only thing to be aware of, is that this can be a VERY busy park on weekends.
It us a great park. It has a water park and a few playgrounds. Clean bathrooms, nature center and many trails including The Louisville Loop. Nice for a family reunion to just a day with the kids.
Great park. The 3rd annual Kentucky walk for hearing was held on Saturday the 2nd of November. It's a great place to walk and take your family. They have nice facilities and places to play for the kids. The trails are not too crowded and you might even spot some great Kentucky wildlife as well.
Well maintained park. One of the best in the city. Numerous trails and beautiful scenery.
This place is huge! Alot of walking paths, I'm the girl though that wants to go hiking not walking on a rock path. I want dirt under my shoes. . If you are looking to hike, this is not the place for you. If you ARE looking to just walk down a nice walking path, take your dog for a walk then yes, all you.
This place also offers kayak/canoe drops Floyd's Fork creek, it also offers two ponds you can fish at.
Playground for kids, dog park, soccer games going on as well.
We love this park so much! It's got a bunch of great trails for hiking, a nice playground and splashpad, and so much more. It is always super clean and well kept. One of my favorite parks in the Louisville area for sure.
My boyfriend and I love coming here for picnics and it's always so lovely, the grounds are well taken care of and has soccer fields that always look nice! My boyfriend loves to go and play soccer with friends, it's a great meet up spot!
The best park in Louisville are. Great for cycling, walking, running,...
I know there are miles upon miles of trails, sports fields, and nice picnic areas, but my favorite is exploring and wading the creek. This is a fantastic park for all ages to explore, relax in, play in, and just to get outside and breathe in several aspects of Kentucky's beautiful flora and fauna.
We love this place! From the playground to the trails and the creek, we are so glad we live nearby!!
We loved the facility, splash pad and amazing bike trail. We waded in the creek took a pic of and just had a wonderful day.
Walking through this beautiful park brings such great joy!
This was a very nice park. There were lots of signs that had maps on them, and the trail was kept well. It's a nice 4 mile walk, part of it along a creek.
What a nice job they have done on this park! It was Coronavirus season and a few areas were closed, but everyone was kind. The river was up, lots of kayaking and a couple of canoes. There is something for everyone here.
Lovely place for a stroll or bike ride. Splash park is a blast for families! Sadly no doggos allowed in but the dark part is a short walk away, tons of space for zoomies
Beautiful park system. Several lakes and access to Floyd's Fork Creek for fishing and/or just hiking. Accessible Kayak launching and take out in the creek.
Great place for various types of exercise. Be cautious of leaving valuables in your car. Otherwise, fun happy people on the exercise paths. Glad to see Louisvillians exercising more.
Love Beckley Creek Park....love the walkways, trials, streams and thousand years old seashells...probably my favorite park.
Beautiful landscape with a really great creek. The picnic table area was perfect and the kids flew a kite there after. In the afternoon we swam in the creek which was chilly but really fun. Great place to hang out with friends.
Very nice park.
The public bathrooms were the cleanest.
The views of the 3 spots visited where great.
One of the most beautiful parks in the area! Great place to walk, to observe nature, especially bugs and bees and birds.
Love this park, for walking, biking, running, soccer, or just a picnic down by the creek. Water was low from the heat and alot of algae because lack of rain. But still fun to put your feet in and hang a hammock.
Great park. Especially as it is part of a four park system owned and operated by a private entity. And supported by donors. Beautiful facilities, great bike riding and running trails. Hike to your hearts content. Or perhaps fishing or kayaking is more your style, do it at Beckley Creek and the other Parklands facilities. Fun for everyone.
Beautiful park that has ins of amenities. It's so vast and has something everyone.
The place is so thought out and well done, I tend to lose all sense of worrying about bills, timelines, work, etc. it's just a great place to go and see what nature offers
My granddaughter had her 4th birthday here. It was a blast. We had it under the roof which helped with the sun. We also took the trail loop and saw some animal footprints that were shown on a sign.
One of the coolest things was seeing a snake wiggle across the creek and just sit there
The playground was filled with children, however, the park did not turn on the water part of the park yet. That would have been nice since it hit 84°. It should be turned on by Memorial Day.
The park is easily accessed using I-64 or I-265.
This is a hidden gem in the East end. Very well kept with beautiful creeks and great hiking trails. I'm so glad we discovered it.
This park is our altime favorite.... Large kids play area, small trail 0.5 miles in the same compound, splash pad and loads of other trails available too. Also huge picnic spots and benches in immediate vicinity. Ideal for bike riding, skating, dog training...we love this place..always..
One of my favorite parks. Great day at the playground and walking with my toddler.
This park is an absolute gem in the East end of Louisville. Did not realize exactly how large this park is. Has great walking trails, and is a great place to get your daily steps in!
By far my favorite park in Jefferson County KY! Even with the trees almost bare from Autumn still breathtakingly beautiful!
So much fun. It was fabulous 95 out so finding this little gem was just what the kids needed. Shade area with benches & picnic tables. Bathroom was clean and had a water fountain to fill up larger water bottles.
I so appreciate the thought and planning that went into the parklands development. Definitely one of the highlights of living in Louisville!
Super relaxing and a very well planned out park. Beautiful and peaceful. Something for everyone. Definitely a must see.
One of my favorite parks to go biking, massive areas to explore. Canoeing and kayak on some parts and even see alot of fishing. There's alot to do here for whatever it is you may want and awesome wilderness to explore oh and alot of soccer fields too! Which I remembered to take a picture of!
My favorite place for weekend long runs. Clean trails and clean bathrooms - what more can you ask for? I wish water fountains were open and available year-around. May be place them inside?
Went for a leisurely stroll with the dogs on our first spring like day in March. The park has wonderful walking trails plus bicycle lanes.
Great place to relax and enjoy nature!! Took my dog there and he had a blast, swimming in the creek with his girlfriend!
Nice hikes and creek access. We saw somebody propose there too. Girl said yes.
Had a blast at Beckley Creek Park would love to go each and every weekend and every day that I’m off
Very nice for walking/hiking. Nice fenced off leash area for dogs!
Great place nice very nice and has some great hiking trails
Great park to enjoy with many trails to walk, run, skate etc. My little ones love it.
Very nice trails, maybe more colorful scenery... but its very nice
This creek is absolutely beautiful and full of wildlife! We saw crawfish, snakes, and turtles, and our kids explored and swam in the water.
Tons of nature to be seen. Paved (great for strollers and bikes) and unpaved trails. Creek access for kayaking, ponds for fishing, gardens and glower gardens, big grassy area is great for soccer, just kicking or throwing a ball, flying a kite, playground with splash ground during warmer months, event venue, picnic areas, and a dog park. Has plenty for anyone!
this park is some lovely with lots of beautiful views and parking spots
Beautiful, but often crowded. Hard for a dog that doesn't like other animals.
Great place to go and just enjoy the sound of the creek flowing. Loved taking my dog there when she was alive.
Of course it is five stars! It is always clean and beautiful! We love walking our pup here!
I love beckley creek park and Floyd’s fork. I come here all the time to hike or kayak. The park is beautiful and well maintained with clean restrooms and water fountains.
Fun family friendly park with lots of outdoor amenities.
Great trail/path system. Well cared for by the maintenance team.
Wonderful park and great trails! Great for the whole family and pups too. Wide walking paths are also nice especially on the busier days. So much to do at this park. Lots of areas for a picnic. I especially like the trails here. Well maintained and seems most who visit are respectful of the trails. Kayaking is also available here, although I haven't yet.
Great place to go explore and play. I am still saddened to know the creek water quality is very questionable but overall, not a deal breaker.
This is one of the best parks in Louisville, hands down. It's always clean, including the bathrooms, which is hard to find these days. Beckley Creek Park is donor supported, please become a donor today and help keep this area beautiful for years to come!
Great shaded trails on this section of the parklands, for both bikers.amd walkers...scenicalong the creek...smpotj trails. Als, great put in for paddlers!
This park is the best to bring the family. The splash pad, playground, soccer fields, miles and miles of trails. Was just there flying a kite!
The Louisville Loop is an excellent multiuse trail. Lots of trailheads. Great bike trail. #louisvilleloopky
LOVE Beckley Creek Park! So beautiful. Lots of space. Great picnic tables. Wonderful place for kiddos. Fun adventures await you here!
Very nice park. Lots of trails to walk and very easy pace. Sporadic shade for sitting and cooling off. Would benefit from some kids playground equipment for a good spot to get some energy out with the kiddos.
Lots of room to play. Varieties of play equipment for very young to elementary age. Includes a water splash park for those hot summer days.
Provides a wholesome experience for everyone. Kids have safe places to run around and play. There is even a little playground. There are walking/cycling trails. Lots of hidden treasures that gives peace and calm. Once you come out of the park, there are ice cream shops and other eateries close by. Very well maintained and Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to spend few minutes to a whole day!!
The creek and trails are beautiful!! We will definitely be coming back to explore.
I loved it there and loved the cabin we stayed in. Wanna go back.
Awesome trails! This was my first visit.
Relaxing place. Park is nice and clean. We spend hours walking at the park. I have to remove one star because of recent break-in cars, mine included. Policeman are working hard to prevent this. It is sad that such a nice place is affected by those low lifes.
Nice and relaxing but they need to fix their benches. They're very worn and just need some fresh coats of paint. Other than that, not much to say about this park. Also would be nice of there was a restroom closer to the main parking area.
Great trails and huge enclosed play area with nice educational facilities
Love this place!
There’s different areas to enjoy, so there’s the walking trails and the riding trails. There’s the kids playground and splash pad ( of course it’s closed right now but my kids love it during summertime) and there’s the little creek and the kids just love going to play in the water and my hunny and I love sitting in by the water and watching the boys play. It’s an awesome place for a date just bring your picnic and chairs or a hammock and chill by the water. Absolutely beautiful place. We have gone to take family pictures they came out beautifully! So recommend this place!
Great park for Louisville. Great place to walk, ride bikes, and let kids play. There is a wide range of animals to see. picnic pavilions are nice. Really a great place to go for any out door activity. It is pet friendly and hosts many community events.
Great place to visit, soo much to see and do.
Really a beautiful park to walk, play, biking, picnic and many more fun activities.
Love taking the dogs here to play in the creek.
Good trails for hiking and well maintained
Love this park! So well maintained! Beautiful place for kids and adults.
We absolutely love this park. Clean, well kept, yet full of life. It's easy to get into and out of, the kids always have fun, just the right amount of shaded seating, and there is plenty of parking.
I love this park. There is so much to do. Beautiful paths along the creek, beautiful flowers near the egg lawn, a marsh area, ponds for fishing and just enjoying, and in am only scratching the surface!
This park is simply beautiful. There are countless trails, bike paths, picnic areas, fishing areas, and play areas to explore. The splash pad and playground equipment are so much fun and very well maintained. Just a drive through is peaceful. It is part of a larger system of parks known as the Parklands. We love coming here for walks, for playing in the creek, and for family events!
Trails were in great condition and is the perfect place for a long dog walk. Her smile says it all!
A very nice park for kids to enjoy him/herself 👍😁 …
I took my son and 2 dogs on a nature walk. We had the best morning ever. It was so relaxing here. We saw frogs, snails, butterflies, and so much more. The trails are the best. The playground is great too. I can't wait to return!
One of our favorite summer spots! Hiking, splashing, playing, this park has it all.
Fishing, biking, and canoe access are also available.
I love this park! We saw 3 deer walking the trails up close and personal!
Nice park. Well maintained with lots of amenities. Lots to explore.
The over look at the lake is perfect for a picnic. Head down the trials to the lake a find a shady spot to relax under the trees.
Great walking / biking / running trails - if you want a long walk, you can do it. Want a short one? That's feasible, too. There is also a nice playground for the kids, and a visitor's center for more information. There are large lawns where you can fly kites and have picnics, as well as wooded trails and running water and pretty flowers. It's so well kept, and there are so many options!
Lots of open space in the egg lawn. Checking the putting point for canooo and kayak. Water was a little low but normal for that time. I an sure the recent rain has fixed that issue.
Excellent park that is part of the Parklands system. Excellent design with a long list of recreational amenities. It is clean and well maintained. The administration plans different programs and events for adults and children throughout the year. It is one of the best city park system that I have com across.
Beautiful playground and places to walk. Fun spray park for children.
Very nice park with great walking paths and trails along with a water park and dog park. I am so happy we now have an awesome park system in the east end of Louisville. It is a great place to bring dogs, kids, friends and families. Also, the events there are always a fun time too. We went to Friday at the Floyd's tonight and it was jam-packed and a great time. It also has nice fields for soccer or field hockey. People cycle, walk, run, and overall enjoy themselves.
My favorite spot to run between Beckley and Pope Lick due to convenience (although admittedly I need to explore more of Louisvilles running spots to make a real comparison). When I say convenience it's really because of the Egg Lawn. Day or night lighting, bathroom area is clean, and plenty of opportunity to run a trail, etc. if I decide to depart from the Egg. Also the challenge of the decent and subsequent ascent to and from Pope Lick is a fun challenge. The park is all around kept clean, and us wel designed.
One of the best parks I've ever been in. Pristine walking and biking trails, variety of accessibility levels, kayaking in Beckley Creek, beautifully designed to preserve as much of the natural landscape and habitats and rolling hills. Pet friendly. Photo shoot friendly!
I am so in love with this park! My wife and I actually took our engagement and first year anniversary photos here! The view is so beautiful. There's an amazing fountain, a bridge, gorgeous flowers, a small pond thing, and plenty of benches and trees to get a nice photo with! We occasionally go for romantic walks here. There's no better park in the city in our opinion. Love it love it love it!
It was wonderful there are so many places to walk and so many trails. Also the site seeing of the nature of the birds and trees is beautiful. There is also a dog park, you can canoe, bike, all of it. I absolutely loved it and will be going back.
Nice small park. The Christmas light show was very sparse in lights. No Christmas trees. Snowflakes, etc. Just a decorated package. Several tunnels, one 2020 sign. The only thing for kids is the one display of dinosaurs. Light display NOT WORTH THE COST. Too few light displays!
Me and my girlfriend went to the winter light show, and it was such a good time! We got to go twice actually, as she lost an earring, which we managed to find!
The park is great, well maintained and easy to access, perfect for dates, events or taking your dog out. 10/10
Great place for almost every type of family fun there is. Also hiking, cycling and you can bring the pup. Everyone is welcome. And there is no admission charge.
This park has everything! Many varied terrains! beautiful Waterside walks. is like a country walk on Black Willow Trail which I highly recommend!
Such a beautiful and fun park! With so many trails you never get bored!
Took my friend's dog here on some of the paved trails and had a great time. Everything is well maintained.
Great fishing pond to bring your kids as it's not far from the parking lot for all those trips back you know you will have to make. All the trails are great, sidewalks are some of the smoothest in town and the kids love the water splash park.
This is my favorite park in Louisville. The wide paved path is great for biking, running, or just walking in a natural setting. Plenty of parking and facilities along the way.
Large spacious and well kept with lots to do, soccer fields, streams, fishing lakes, running trails and giant playground.
A beautifully located historic area for an all around wonderful park. It not only offers scenic views, trails, creek and nature's finest but also a wide vary of community, family, church and school events. This is an all around must see area. Having some of the largest oldest trees I've seen to being the biggest park I've been to, Beckley Creek is most certainly worthy of a visit!
It's really nice to have a place like Beckley Park in the city to go be out in nature.
The playground here is one of the best in the area. Very big and brand new equipment. There is also a short hiking trail that has signs and learning experiences very close to the playground. The kids love it. The splash park is always packed and super fun in the summer!
Can't beat this place for walking or running. Very well maintained. Feel safe there. So many trails to use and nature provides beautiful scenery.
Beautiful park! Took my son out to do a little fishing a week ago; can’t believe I’ve lived in Louisville most of my life and never made it out here. Great place to take the family.
Large and beautiful park. Plenty of place to play games, go running, and small trails to go 'hiking'. I believe that you can rent kayaks for the river, but there are also walking trails down to it and you can play in the river. The playground has lots in it, suitable for all ages. The Splash Park is right next to the playground and is freaking awesome!
This is a very nice park but like some others there is so much clay you do need to flow the signs and not hike here if the ground is at all wet. Your feet will weigh a ton and you will destroy the trail. There are some much better trails in the western part of southern Indiana or the southern part of Jefferson county for all weather hiking.
It was very hot 🔥🥵. My grandson played for about 1 hr. Forgot change of shorts so he could run through the sprinkler park. Otherwise it was good. Clean and kept up. …
One of the most well maintained parks in the area. Plenty of trails to walk, and plenty of open field for any activity. Great place to enjoy by yourself, on a date, with friends, or the family. This park is a good choice for any day. Catch me throwing frisbees with the boys on the egg lawn.
We love going the Beckly Creek Park to walk all the trails. Love that they have bike trails. Even a dog park! Took my grandson to the playground for the 1st time last weekend and it's nice that they have play sets for the toddlers and others for the older kids. The splash park is not a bad size either really nice!! This is our favorite park in Louisville.
Great park. Love the trail that is moderately rugged. The concrete walkway is perfect as well. There are many nice shaded fishing spots that are great for family activities. However, there was trash left there from irresponsible people when I was there.
Amazing park that is kept very well. They offer many running, biking, and hiking trails with great views as well as kayaking options available with a variety of distance/time requirements. They also have a dog park, water park, and a hands on center. They offer different events during the year and you can't even rent their spaces for weddings and events.
Biggest and best park in Louisville. Only downfall is the breaking into vehicles by the less desirable population. Don’t leave valuables in your ride!
Great addition to the park system. Miles of trails to walk or bike. Most are concrete, but there are some that wind through or alongside the woods & creek or through the wild flowers. Always possible to see wildlife. Several nice fishing lakes that get stocked. Plenty of picnic areas & open mowed fields for sports activities like soccer/football or whatever. There's a fairly large fenced dog run & a playground for the little ones. Park workers are always friendly, too.
It's very large with different sections. There's the community garden section, the fishing ponds, lots of Creek with kayak put-ins, a huge variety of trails including rough dirt, gravel, mulch, and wide concrete trails. There are many areas of picnic tables, some pavilions, bath houses, overlooks with benches, huge modern and accessible playground and splash park. My favorite is the huge Louisville Loop trail for walking or bikes. Stop by the visitors center to learn about the park and it's residents and see a map.
Love the parks. Lots of Pokémon stops lol. Very clean and well kept up. Keep your donations up folks.
Fantastic, well designed park with a variety of natural experiences. Good walking paths.
Love this area to walk & hang out on warmer days. Enjoyed a picnic lunch/snacks & played table games with a friend last week.
It's beautiful love looking at the lil lakes
Beautiful park, trees are wonderful in the fall!
The Christmas lights display was very nice. Lots of opportunities to expand in coming years!
This is a nice park. We were coming from Indiana and had no problems finding it. There was plenty of parking and places to go. We found a quiet place to do some pictures and throw rocks into a lake. The were a lot of bikers and runners. We will be back.
There are a number of different types and intensity trails here that are absolutely beautiful with both paved and dirt options. Great choice for any kind of outdoor waking. There are also canoe and kayak rentals available, and a community garden
Love this park. Always well kept. Good walking trails. Great playground for kids of all ages. During the summer months there is a lovely spray ground that my 2 year old loves.
I absolutely love this park!!!! It is os beautiful!!! There are so many hiking and biking trails and the walking/jogging paths are great as well. The playground and sprayground is fantastic!!! There are a bunch of places to have picnics and areas where families can have their own little space. The fishing ponds are a lot fun too. Being able to also walk in the creek and they also have canoe and kayak rentals!!! This park is my daughters favorite she actually calls it "our park" This is one of our favorite places to go!💚
Beautiful! A well-maintained park with a little something for everyone. It's really easy to navigate with lots of different trail options. Can't go wrong spending a day here! I would recommend downloading a PDF of the map before you go.
This has to be the best park in Louisville, and possibly the state ( I haven't visited them all to say for sure). Rangers are friendly, trails are clean. I taught my daughter to ride her bike at egg lawn, I MTB the trails and we use the splash park often. I love this place, keep it up!
Great park. Loved the bike trail. Beautiful scenery.
A lovely park to visit! Great field space for events, picnics, sports, or relaxation. All of the trails I've been on are also nice and even have fruit to pick 🍓 A great park for biking for sure! …
It was very nice.
Very clean park with lots of trails and nice scenery. Floyd's Fork can have good fishing which is a big attraction for me. The ponds are usually very busy when it's warm and can be hard to find a parking spot.
Great place to walk or play during the day. You may have to search a little for trails, but they are out there. I would be careful near the waterways along the trails, while walking my dog I came across a bit of trash and broken glass a few times. When not walking trails, you can easily find something for your family. I would go just for the soccer practice fields, the egg lawn, and the dog park. Please note a membership required for dog park for pet safety/screening.
Had such a great holiday, jog, walk with the dogs here. The lake by the trail, the other joggers, it was clean, peaceful, serene. The boys were absolutely exhausted after our little adventure at Beckley. ❤️🐾 …
We had a fun birthday celebration picnic.
Small picnic area with short walk to the creek. Fun creek to walk in and let the kids and animals play.
Wonderfully maintained. Peaceful. A great place to spend the morning.
It's a very nice place!
Love the dog park!
Very large spray ground and playground combo, lots of picnic tables, sprawling trails and a beautiful landscape. Very busy most of the time, but you couldn't expect anything else from such a gorgeous public park.
Louisville is blessed with a great park system, and Beckley is one of them. It is a place for fitness, kayaking, pick up sports, family fun, picnics, and even weddings. It is clean, safe, and beautiful. Lots of walking/hiking trails plus great place for cycling. It is part of the Louisville Loop and you can now go 20 miles from Beckley on the Loop. This park is a must place to visit and enjoy the outdoors! Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.
This is a great place for the entire family. It has beautifully maintained grounds, spray park, hiking trails, play grounds equipment, picnic areas, and it'll definitely run out all of your kids energy. They have so much to do for everyone.
We come here multiple time through out the spring and summer. I love to canoe and kayak and this is a great place to do so. Also the fishing here is incredible.
Beautiful place to walk and run! Scenery includes Kentucky flowers and the crickets and birds chirping in the background. Very kid friendly with a playground and a splash pad. Tons and tons of trails! Highly recommend!
excellent place to walk and share with the family
Amazing park with great trails. Very clean and everything is easily accessible. Great place for a nice walk or hike
We took some family photos here and it was beautiful. Splash pad for the kiddos, all kind of trails, beautiful wildflowers. Kind of a hike if you aren't already in the far East end, but certainly worth it if you are.
It's a wonderful part of the Parklands. There 's a nice cement path for runners, walkers, and bikers and dogs on leashes. The majority of the folks on the path are courteous and friendly. Eventually you will enter a wooded are that is secluded and very peaceful. There are great trails to run or walk along and are bike accessible. The entire park system runs from Beckley Creek all the way to Broad Run ending near Bardstown Road with several parks in between. Every three miles or so there are bathrooms that are well maintained. Some are even heated in the winter. 😀 We often see deer, turtles, and beautiful wild flowers in places. I highly recommend this park.
This park is a well maintained, perfectly size park with a stunning playground and in summer sprayground. The playground is large and has plenty to play on and modern rubber padding below alot of the structures. They have covered seating and tables for the parents both at the spray and playground. Restrooms are close and clean. They also have a fenced in dog park. Tons of walking trails too! What more could you ask for? :-)
The park is fenced in which is great for the kids. I dont have to worry about them running off. Plenty of play things for all ages. The water park is a huge hit and the kids love it. I also really enjoy the small trail that is created with a creek running through. The kids all enjoyed running and playing on it. Beckley is also great for bike riding on the trails (be careful! I fell bc I wasn't used to mountain biking) or on the side walks. You can also walk the trails, theres a larger creek that people play in or paddle kayaks in. I plan on getting a kayak here one day to do the same. Overall, very nice and clean park- we go here often
Biking, hiking, kayaking, playground, and learning center. The staff are great! The park is incredible. The summer camps are beloved by my kids. We are so fortunate to have the park so close to our home.
Is great for walk , rite bikes , go fishing , cook outs with the fam !!!
My kids love playing in the play ground, the spray ground and in the creek.
This section of the 21st Century Parks project has options for everything you might want to do. The splash park and playground are enjoyed by children of all ages, with ample shaded seating for parents to keep an eye on them; there are also trails for cyclists and runners, and fields for whatever your heart may desire.
This place is awesome you have a water park for the kids to cool off. And so many trails that I never knew. You go into the nature center and they have a map of the entire park. And they are very very nice. Have fun!!
Great walking and hiking trails, maintained without taking away from the natural beauty. Great place to dog walk, tire the kids out or just get in your steps! Splash park and playground are fun for the kids. I love this place!
This place is good for trekking and kids play. Lots of green area and trail with crossing creeks. There is some still water where kayak can be used, not a good place though (small and narrow). Overall good place for picnic and spending family time with kids.
Great place to let the kids play on playground/sprayground AND explore nature.
A wonderful park. Today when we were there, hundreds of others were enjoying the mild weather. Saw people walking, jogging, bicycling , fishing, kayaking, playing soccer, walking their dogs.... all in all, lots of people enjoying a beautiful park.
The best park with miles walking and trails clean bathroom nice play ground
Beautiful park with something for everyone. So glad this land was set aside for green space!
This is a great place to walk/hike. Lots of trails, some concrete, others dirt and mulch. I come once every 2 weeks with my cousins. It's a good way to hang out with each other.
Great park with a ton of hike options! My dog loved our time there and all the areas with river access for her to cool off. Plus doggie bags to make cleaning up easier!
Attended an event with food trucks and a band and really enjoyed it. My grandchildren visit the playground on a regular basis. Nice area to bike and many hiking trails. I highly recommend.
Grade "A" park with everything you could ever want at a park. Fields for sports, playgrounds, picnic shelters, fishing holes, paths of various surfaces from dirt to concrete to please hikers and casual strollers. The landscaping also varies from natural to artfully designed. Overall, terrific park!
Nice family friendly park. Easy walking trails, playground has been recently updated
Fantastic place. You can kayak and fish here.
Beckley Creek Park is easily my favorite Park in the Louisville Metro area. In general the park is not crowded although it is well populated it just never feels like there are too many people which is wonderful. There are plenty of trails and lots of open areas. In general the park is very very clean which can be attributed to the locals who take genuine pride in the park. My wife and I enjoy bringing our kids throughout the year.
Truly an amazing outdoor experience across miles of parks. Favorite trail is the black willow trail (walking, no bikes). Great place for miles of paved walking trails on the Louisville Loop, miles of wooded trails (some bike-able). Great playground and water park for the little ones. A gem in Louisville, check it out and become a park member - its a fully member supported park, no governmental funds!
Love this park. It has a little bit of everything. Hiking and biking trails, open grassy areas, playground, creeks and ponds for fishing and kayaking. Spray ground in summer. Dog park. Picnic tables. It is awesome.
Great park for long rides and runs. The park is connected to other parks on the Louisville Loop giving you the option to get good mileage in without being on the road. Also, there are multiple location to refill water, making it easy to do a long out and back workout.
This park is located at the Parklands, which is an amazing park system in and of itself. Beckley Creek Park is a splash pad connected to a playground. I'd say the park features are most suited for kids up to age 10, give or take. That being said, my 9 and 12 year old nephews didn't find it too exciting after a few minutes, but my 8 year old niece did. There are picnic tables with an awning on both sides of the park, making it nice for parents to relax in the shade. As a bonus, Steel City Pops makes a regular appearance.
Just a wonderful park! Didn't get to see enough of it - it's quite large. The sprayground was a hit with the youngest member of our company. Would love to return to see much more.
Awesome park to visit. It is HUGE... Nice walking trails and fountain area as well for the kids. Louisville has lots of great parks to visit, take time to make it out here.
Love the park. But here is my situation. I'm 66 years old,had a serious back surgery about a year ago. 12 screws and 3 rods. They said I wouldn't be able to fish anymore. At least not the way I wanted to. Had a little plastic 2man Bass tracker.but I had to give it up when I moved. My situation has changed. Now I have room for a boat. I'm hoping I can find someone with a a old 2 man boat and trailer I could have. See I'm on disability and have very little money. And a real fisherman knows a real good fishing spot is hard to get to. And me being in a wheelchair it's impossible to get in good spots. This is the reason I need a boat badly. And any real fisherman knows how I feel. I have lots of gear and I want to let those who said I would never fish again a lie. If you are not able to help me. Would you please share this so I might be able to fish again. Your humble servant, [email protected]
Beautiful & we'll maintained park & play areas. Just be sure to keep an eye out for copper heads as we saw two both days we were there, in two different areas of the park.
My favorite spot. Relaxing, clean, safe, and the staff is always so nice while out patrolling or keeping the area clean. One of the best ideas Louisville has ever done. It's a place EVERYONE can come to and enjoy.
A wonderful use of the mostly open-space land that occupies this area. It's well-designed, thoughtfully organized, and beautifully decorated. A small assortment of short trails run throughout, and all of them are unique and worth taking at least once. We live just moments from the Egg Lawn, and we spend at least one afternoon a week together as a family here. My business is now consequently a donor and I feel like it's a great place to be philanthropically supporting.
Once again, proof that private enterprise can accomplish so much more than the public sector if conditions allow it.
Tranquil and serene spot to get in a walk, or bike ride. I prefer to walk, and find the cyclists annoying. I hate hearing " on your left" while I am enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
All in all it is a beautiful "gift" of a place.
This was my first time visiting this park, and it was great! There is so much to do, like walk, jog, or bike along the miles of path that goes through nice scenery, or hiking trails, open sports fields, as well as canoeing/kayaking! I look forward to returning.
Options to fish even though they weren't biting. Some man was at the shelter yelling off and on the whole time we were there. Might've been homeless.
Great Park!! Very clean and maintained! Just beautiful. Port-o-johns located throughout and cold water at water fountains. Open grassy areas for picnics as well.
A new, beautiful park that connects to the greenway project that will, hopefully, eventually encircle the entire city. The focus seems more on prairie than trees, so keep that in mind if you visit the park. There isn't a huge amount of shade available, but if you're going to play soccer or another field sport, this is perfect. There is also a huge dog part next to the Egg Lawn.
Beautiful park all times of year! The parklands are always very well keptt and clean. Plenty of spots for hammocking, walking, biking, running, soccer fields, and a dog park
Great park for the family. Big playground and splash area.
The playground and sprayground are always wonderful but our favorite place to play is actually the nature trail behind the playground. It's the perfect little nature adventure for toddlers and preschoolers!
Excellent city park with miles of bike/running trails, a fantastic splash pad and playground, sports fields, and access to wading and swimming in the creek. Nice changing rooms on site for the splash pad.
I've lived and traveled all over the country and in Western Australia, Spain, Canada, Mexico and Jamaica and have never seen a better park system than this one. Hats off to all the city, county and private entities that came together to pull this one off. If Google had a 10-star option, you all would deserve it. From all the hikers, walkers, bicyclists, nature-lovers, bird-watchers, parents and anyone who just loves to get outside in a safe, clean, wonderful environment...THANK YOU! Well done!
Awesome place so much to do. So clean and nice. The staff working the visitor center was super friendly and even helped us decide where to hike.
We love this park! Great Green space for kids to run and awesome playground for all ages of kids. Really fun trails and lots of paved space for riding bikes.
Absolutely love this park. There are plenty of trails to hike. The concrete paths are great for bikes. Overall a great place to take the family.
Such a beautiful place to walk around
Great park lots structures to play on and super clean.
I love it here. It's really fun to go to in the summertime and it's so quiet and peaceful and the view is amazing I'm recommending go here and it's very nice and this place you can walk your dog and they have beautiful flowers and a beautiful Lake
The best place in the city to actually experience Floyd's fork. Its easily accessible, clean, and beautifully set up. Its our favorite part of the parklands, and I got married here.
It's beautiful! Perfect place for biking, jogging, walking, rollerblading, throwing Frisbee, fishing, kayaking, kicking around a soccer ball, or anything else you might want to spend your time outside doing.
The nature-scaping brings color and wildlife to the trail system. Stay on the paved paths. The other paths could use work. They aren't sloped correctly and have erosion issues. It makes for a difficult and sometimes dangerous run.
One of my favorite places in the whole world, and I have travelled and lived in many countries and throughout our great nation. I am SO THANKFUL for the vision and effort of the teams who made this park a reality and for the way it is kept up so well. I go for a walk there every Sunday morning, and they have created variety with the various wildflowers, scenery, and topography. Visually interesting, and it changes throughout the year because of the various flowers' bloom seasons.
Beautiful park. Great for bike riding and flat for training with no training wheels. Great for kids to run around and plenty of options for slides and water fountains.
Lovely park! Plenty of paved walking paths and mulched trails. You can walk thru wooded areas and next to streams. Nicely kept :)
What a wonderful park! So many well maintained trails and activity areas. Can't wait to come back and go fishing, canoeing, biking, or hiking.
Located off Shelbyville road is this Louisville gem, and guys this park is not only huge but it's stunning. It's one of the four parks in the Louisville Loop, and the level of care they put in to maintaining all the trails, welcome center, and various lawns is astounding. There's always at minimum one park ranger on the premises but usually more than that. They have their own dog park with three separate run & play areas: one for large pups, one for small pups, and the third is a mixed area where your fur babies can socialize with other dogs (visit the Feeders Suply right down the street to learn how to get access!) The welcome center hosts various events from bike races to weddings. They have a local farmers market every Saturday from 8-12. There are also two fishing holes (as long as you hold a valid Ky fishing license you don't have to pay to fish here) as well as a community garden. Now the only down side is the fact there's a small waste treatment facility inside of the park, and a few of the bike/walk trails go right by this. Unfortunately with it being Kentucky it's often hot and humid, and this area tends to stink a little bit. It's not overwhelming but it's definitely noticeable but the vast majority of the park is unaffected by this. This is 100% the best park in the Louisville area, beaten only by Bernheim Forest which is over 30 minutes away.
This park has been an incredibly good addition to the area. Biking, hiking, walking, kayaking, birthday parties..... All things that my family and I have enjoyed in this beautiful park!!
Great place to go take a long walk, dogs love it too. Scenery is is really nice, ponds, wildlife, fountain.
Its a clear your mind kinda place
Came for the Festi-Ville soccer tournament. Well organized event and good fields to play on. Parking was okay only real complaint is ZERO warm up space down at fields 1-4.
One of the best parks in Louisville. Great water park for young kids and plenty of walking paths both paved and not.
Went here for a field trip with my class. I enjoyed looking in the creek for Crayfish!
It’s a smaller playground but with both my kids so young I actually enjoy that more. All the equipment is nice and the spray area is fun for them too.
Best Park system this area has ever seen !!! The other major parks are good , but nothing like this place !!! Thanks for doing such a wonderful job on these parks !!!
An absolute gem to have near my neighborhood. Walking, hiking, biking, kayaking, soccer fields, dog park, playground. The list goes on. Places like this are community money well spent. A snack bar or some vending would be a welcome addition so you don't have to haul in your water after a bike/walk/skate/hike.
Had a great time being outside
Beautiful trails and scenic views! Get out and enjoy some natural Kentucky with native plants, fossils in the creek bed, and fresh air.
Such an awesome park. It's just a shame that they won't let you fly a drone and get some great photos and video of the park to share with friends or family, or show on social media.
Great park to visit with your kids. Playground and splash zone will keep them happy for a long time.
Lovely park. So happy we have it in Louisville and can't wait for the rest of the "circle" to be completed. The children's play area and the meeting space is amazing too.
What a great place to spend the day hiking, biking, walking, canoeing, or kayaking, or just bring a picnic lunch. Louisville has some really cool outdoor spaces.
Awesome park! I still haven't explored all the trails like I want. Kids love the play area and splash pad
Beautiful park with well-maintained bike paths, bridges over creeks, flowers. Can't wait till the 100+ mile loop is completed!
So many trails!!! The restrooms are super clean, the playground is wonderful and there is plenty of space for outdoor activities!
Best park in the Louisville / Southern Indiana area. Go hiking, fishing, bike riding, wading in Floyds Fork. Great playground and splash park for the kids. Lots of wide open space to set up a game of flag football. Move nights on a big screen during the summer are a lot of fun.
Beautiful in the summer and fall. Please do not keep and important in your car . My wife's car got broken into they stole her purse. Please be aware of your stuff.
1st 5K in 4 years did OKAY even though I went wrong way for a little bit. I've been doing interval training at the Silo.
I'm jogging up 7 flights of the stairs followed by run around circle 200-300walk way with one minute or less rest between 3-5 "rounds"
Doing a "Tough Mudder" obstacle course 8/1 in Indiana at 11AM!!
Lord Have MERCY, the 5k was harder than usual 3 miles. Jesus what did I get myself into??😏
Part of a large park system, it's way out in the suburbs, but worth the occasional drive. It has a sprayground and some decent trails as well as a place to put your canoe or kayak in the creek.
The most beautiful park. This park has paved trails, an indoor venue you can rent for events that is kept impeccable, outdoor shelters, clean bathrooms, and a playground with a splash pad!
Really beautiful. I do wish fisherman would pick up their line they cut off though. I pulled a hook with line attached out of a baby trout's mouth because someone snapped their line and just left it. Take care of our resources, jackwagons!
Great place for a casual walk...just a bit hot today, which is not the park's fault but I can't give 5 stars to Global Warming for roasting the planet. Nobody reads Park reviews anyway. Cheers.
One of my favorite spots, great trails and great venue
This is an excellent piece of parkland, with respectful visitors enjoying interesting and diverse settings. What a relaxing place to spend thd day without traveling very far at all.
There for a wedding. Very nice place. Enjoyed my visit.
One of the best features of Louisville. Great trails, fields, play spaces, splash pads, and lakes. A fantastic way to get outside and see the natural landscape of KY.
I love the Parklands! Great walking trails and paved paths.
Such a beautiful park! We visit at least once a week. Our family has biked, hiked, walked, picnicked and kayaked, Thank you so much.
Great/safe park to walk for me and wife 👍🏾🤸🏾♂️🤸🏾♂️ …
It's my kids' favorite park. Want to play in water? That's there. Want to play on the playground? That's there, too. Want to take a long walk on a colorful track? Go for it. Interested in a small museum? Well, walk in. It's lovely.
Beautiful opportunity for pics! These Gorgeous wildflowers are easily over 6 feet tall 🌞🌸🌻🌼🏵 …
So nice to have a wonderful new park in our end of town. Great, level, easy hikes with everything nature to see.
Great park with lots of things to do with your family and always well kept.
Beautiful clean park. Had a great time hiking trails with my daughter. Will definitely be spending alot of our time here.
Over this past summer (2017) mu daughter amd myself have visited this park 4 times only bc we live in highview and the broad run park is closer and just as fun but going to the valley of the giants which is right when you enter the south entrance of the park of taylorsville is a really phenomenal fun place to go and the trail runs along side the floyds fork river. There are about ten sycamore trees that are about 10-15 ft wide at the trunk and is the main reason of going there for us as well as being able to fish as we walk the trail. NOTE! Last visit we found a dead bobcat laying next to one of the giant trees which looked like it may have drowned bc 2 days before the area flooded as it usuallly does from long hard rainfall but FYI needless to say be aware of your surroundings. Also if you go to broad run park and you like hiking to see cool natural landforms..... 15-20 min walk to see something really cool so try out the limestone gorge trail..... about 1 mile from enterance if you enter at the bardstown rd. Enterance. Stay safe!
A terrific park. Wonderful trails for hiking and nice biking\walking paths.
Great Park lots of trails and it's not too overly crowded
There are so many trails and paths and many are along the creek. I love coming here when I'm on a timed run or when I just want to reconnect with nature and center myself and stroll amongst the trees and critters.
I love the park because it's specifically made for 6 years and younger. I can bring my 4 year old daughters and have fun and walk through the trails with my 11 year old son
This is one of the best parks in the city for birdwatching due to the wide variety of habitats available in a small area. I personally have seen around seventy species here. Arrive early.
Great park. Well cared for safe to visit with lots to do. I run here whenever I can and usually find many other runners, walkers and nature lovers.
Ehhh. Worst of all the Parkland Parks IMO. Needs some more outdoors feel rather than suburban feel. The trails aren’t worth running on and the playground is subpar compared to Broad Run. It’s usually crowded and could use a better design for parking. Most other parks in Louisville have something that puts them above this park as nothing stands out as the reason to visit Beckley. Trail Running? Hit JMF or Turkey Run. Playground? Go to Broad Run or Seneca.
Beautiful place for a walk and to learn about nature. Loved it Great for adults, kids and dogs (the Barklands)!
This is part of the Parklands of Floyd's Fork. The entire chain of parks is excellent. Clean, well appointed and maintained through donations as it is privately funded......so, please donate.
It's a beautiful place to walk and spend family time. Also alone time. The botanical gardens and wild flowers, trees and fossils are a joy to observe.
Some tips: Beckley Creek park connects from Rt 60/Shelbyville Rd south beneath 64, however you CANNOT access it from directly turning off 64. First time I tried to come here, Apple maps wanted me to make a right turn off the highway (there is no exit ramp) right into the park. I ended up having to go all the way to Simponsville to turn around. However, you can easily access from Rt 60 and the is a road that runs through the entire park that will take you north and south. Lots of parking options along the way. Eventually, there are plans to connect all the parks in the outer ring of Louisville.
The park itself is very nice with both dirt and paved trails to choose from, as well as a number of ponds/creeks for fishing. It can get a little crowded when the weather is nice, so off hours are usually better.
I’m also attaching a map because it’s extremely helpful when wondering where to stop and park since the park is so large.
Beautiful place that we are lucky to have.
Great place for a bicycle ride.
A beautiful park! The bike/walking path is wonderful and the trails are well maintained. This is a great place for families.
The absolute BEST park in Louisville! Well kept & always clean, plenty of space, trails, and paths so you feel out of the city
This park, hands down is the best park I have been to in Kentucky. Central Park in NYC only comes to mind when I think of parks that top it. Great trails, very nice playground and splash park, This park is a true gem.
Highly recommend!
Beautifully designed and constructed park. Thank you to all who have donated to make it available.
This place is great with our of trails and views. Some benches for sitting, water fountain areas for kids. Overall good place
Such a treasure for the city. My family makes it to this section of the park 4 or 5 times a year. The splash park and the programming at the PNC building are awesome and the great egg loop makes for a great casual stroll.
This park was planned with great detail. Lots to see and enjoy as you make your way through this nature rich space.
Nice park. Clean and safe for your kids. I wish the splash ground was open a little longer out of the year
Good for kids to play, for walk, trek and cycling
Omg! This place is awesome. So many trails and paths. Playground for kids. Small water park. Of ita crowded...who cares cause it's huge!
Beautiful walk on the trails! Want to take my son on a kayak trip.
We just visited for a Cub Scout Den Outing. Curtis did an amazing job and worked well with the children. He took us on a guided trail hike as well as giving us some field and classroom education. Everyone including the adult partners learned something new. Would definitely recommend them.
My daughter was able to see her best friend after 2 years
Love spending time at this park. There is tons to do for any nature enthusiast and lots for kids to enjoy as well. I'd bet this is one of the best park systems in Kentucky.
I love just driving through the park with the top down.
Great place to kayak, jog, walk, bike and take my dog to. Check out the dog park at the great lawn.
This place couldn't be better. We bike on the 19 miles of concrete and asphalt trail. Many side trails to walk and mountain bike.
Part of the Parklands, beautiful place to visit, walking and biking paths, access for kayaking, too. We found a shady spot and had a picnic.
I went on an impromptu hike and this place is great for an adventure. Bike trails, walking trails, soccer fields and serene water scenes. I'll definitely go again.
Beautiful day in the parklands.
Love the park. Although horse trails would be awesome to add. Great place to walk or ride a bike.
Love this park! Has an amazing playground for kids of all ages! And a splash pad!
Very nice park. Lots of shaded areas good for families.
Sits on Floyds Fork, it's an okay place for photography if you want some creek shots. Nice park has lots of water taps and a lot of trails.
Beautiful park with trails to walk and bike. Large land areas for games for the family. A nature center and water park and play grounds..
Park is very well maintained throughout. Great walks and places for bike rides, cool trails, awesome fishing, and the childrens park / waterpark is very well maintained.
I went here for my daughter to run in a 5k. It's a beautiful park. I'd like to come back one day & walk through it all.
Beckley Creek park along with the other connected parks are some of the best in Kentucky. New construction has really opened up opportunities for hiking, canoeing, fishing and more. Wildlife is always a pleasure to see on the trails. My family loves the parklands of Floyds fork.
Love the parks. A lot of nice trails if you're into hiking. Great place to kayak and fish.
First time going truly enjoyed it.
My favorite park even tho my car window was broken and purse stolen from. The dog park. Lots of great areas to explore. Do t bring your valuables
Great place. Wonderful fishing, kayaking, hiking, and biking. Very large park and one of the nicest around in the city.
Absolutely spectacular addition to the city. Louisville has a fantastic Park system and this is one more opportunity for everyone to get outside and enjoy
Have a great deal of fun when we go. Biking, walking trails, and birthday party's. Awesome place to walk your dogs.
Very nice bike trails. Well maintained. Beautiful area.
The Parklands project is stunning. Beckley Creek Park is such a gift to Louisville. Take your kids to the splash park and play area first chance you get!
Fabulous as usual. Super wide paved paths accomodate bikes & walkers. Various size hills to challenge everyone.
Absolutely wonderful park. Has concrete and forested trails. Has a great kids playground as well.
Took our son to the here while in town visiting family, trails are nice, our son loves the splash pad and park area, was a very nice afternoon.
The park is perfect! Lots of things to do. Biking, walking, picnicing, playground, splash pad, etc... We go every time we are in town!
Awesome, amazing place to bring your children, or your nieces to play and have a great time. Clean, Smoke-free, and lots of things to do!
I love this park. Great, clean, fun. Great for couples going for a walk, having alone time, family time.
Its a very cute little park. I took my 2 month old on a very nice scenic walk today 😄 …
Very enjoyable!!! To walk run or ride your bike!! There's plenty of room every where; even walk along Floyd's fork creek!!!!
What a great public asset! Plenty of room to roam and an almost endless supply of area to explore. A family could spend a whole day here and not get bored.
The Parklands is the best. My wife and I go walking on the paths or trails all the time. I also bike from end to end and the scenery is awesome.
Great park! Nice play/spray ground for the kids. Plenty of hiking, biking trails for dad.
My favorite park in the Louisville area. Great place to run, bike, or walk. Has a dog park.
Great place to ride bikes or just watch the water.
Reaĺly nice park and family friendly
It's beautiful. Splash park, play ground, picnic, hiking, bicycling, creeks, trails, fishing, educational centre, soccer fields...it's wonderful
Huge park plenty of fun things to do, great for little kids with their awesome waterpark. Great for picnics, biking, hiking etc....
Beautiful, safe park with gorgeous hidden trails, riverside pathways. Great place!
A beautiful Park a great place for outdoor activities and there's a creek to swim in...
Best park in 100 miles. Great place to spend a day outside.
What’s not to love. Nature. Beauty. Walking/Hiking/Biking trails. I’m here at least twice a week. Upkeep of the park is wonderful.
Awesome, clean park. We love walking the Egg Lawn path. Even though we always see lots of peopl there, it never seems crowded.
Beautiful Park. Large enough to do anything you want to do. Great playground for small children.
This is a beautiful park system. Long and narrow with beautiful facilities through out the park. We were at a conference at the North East end.
Beautiful trails and fishing spot!! We enjoyed our family time at the park.
Being a nature lover I have always explored as much of the woods as I can. This park is so big and there are so many different parks to see I always find something there to do!!
Super place for a … um… park?
Great for running. Mile markers & signage clearly marked along trail. Very well kept. Restrooms periodically throughout.

Ran the Louisville Marathon at this park. Very scenic park with a nice greenway system.
One of the five parks making up the Parklands of Floyds Knob. Park by the silos (off of Shelbyville Road) and explore this park and the connecting Pope Lick Park by bike. Lots of open fields, pretty little hikes, play ground (by the Nature Center), a dog park, ponds for fishing, and creeks for kayaking/canoeing. For hikers and runners, head straight to the Egg Lawn.
Love this place for the whole family. Water park, creek walking paths. Everything is so well kept.
The splash park and playground are excellent. Bathrooms were reasonably clean. Scenery is beautiful.
