Reviews of Little Rock Reservoir Park
I really like this park. It has a disc golf course, ball diamond, playground, and a pavillion. The undeveloped area is heavily wooded and hilly.
I go here for the disc golf course. Yes, many of the holes have narrow fairways through the trees, but the setting is beautiful and it is a favorite course of mine.
Awesome place to play disk golf but you have to watch it at night had a guy I had to run cause he was standing outside his car playing with him self
Nice park, Neat. Playground is fun. There is a water stream that iced. and it was a great experience
Nice place to frisbee golf and walk your dogs. It has it's cruising areas but other than that it's a nice place to walk through and be with nature. It is also a place I felt safe when covid came around hardly anyone around and it was tranquil to be there when the sound of really anything was not to be heard because of lock down.
I enjoy walking here, there are a few hills so you can choose your difficulty. There are also lots of trees for setting up a hammock!
Enjoyed everything. It was my grandson 8th birthday and we had a blast❤
Nice park with baseball diamond, trails, kids playground
Nestled in the middle of West Little Rock is this wonderful place for fun and adventure. So many things to do like tennis, disk golf, playgrounds for the kids, picnic areas and a well kept baseball field. Looking for a nice place to get away without leaving the city? Try Reservoir Park!
ive been to better maintained parks, its not terrible
My family rented this space for a family gathering. It was a nice space.
Just like that...Without the influence of a halo effect bias complete strangers became friends❣
No bathrooms. But the playground equipment has been updated. Nice if you want to walk in the woods. Less scary and secluded now that there's disc golf. The bleachers next to the baseball/cricket field are rotting and need to be replaced.
Playground, pavilion, tennis, basketball, disc golf, baseball, cricket, and plenty of walking trails.
Beautiful park nice layout it was just too hot to really enjoy the event held there
Nice little playground but not appropriate for 2 year olds. You have to climb on ropes to get to the top of the slide. One portion of the playground has stairs and leads to openings where you have to climb on ropes and not safe for toddlers.
Kids play area looks new and well maintained!
This is a great park for my dog to run around. They have a playground, tennis court, disc golf course running through the woods, and trails running through the woods.
We stopped here to let our kids play while passing through Little Rock on a long trip. The kids enjoyed playing and taking a break from the car. I liked that the bathrooms we're close to the playground, however there wasn't any soap in there. Some signs would have been helpful for us to know which paths went where. But overall, a pretty decent park
One of the best, most technical disc golf courses in Central Arkansas. Newly refurbished tennis courts, softball field, basketball, and an awesome new playground for the kids. Glad I live nearby, it's a great park.
Beautiful Park, well maintained! To bad some of user do there best to to ruin it for the rest of us. Again kudo's for the maintenance team that keeps the park up.
Great place to get away from everything
I come here for the disc golf. The course is tight, not too long, but some of the tunnels are less than fair: see hole#6. Still, overall, I enjoy the course. For non-discgolfers, there is a well-maintained playground and an open ball field. The basketball court leaves something to be desired.
It's a shame they cut down a few trees.
If you're looking for a place to relax, this isn't the place.
They never take out the trash, people consume alcohol here and break bottles and vandalize things. Personally, I've noted the trash is more confined to an area, so that's an improvement but the trash is frequently overflowing. Not well lit. Light in cell tower area is out as well. Pavilion should have power, and never does.
On the other hand, if you're looking for somewhere to jog, just stick to the sides and you should be fine ;)
Edit 3/9/21 fixed typos.
A great park for walking pets, or just to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Lots and lots of room.
Fresbie golf, trails and creeks.
Love plying softball there but the ground is lumpy lol
Great dog park!
Nice park. Large play ground. Tennis courts. Basketball courts. And a disc golf course. A little unkept but not terribly so.
Tennis courts are ok to train . They need some TLC.
We just drove through because I had never been in this park before. It was very nice and if you like frisbie golf, they have a course for that. First one I've ever seen. :-)
I mainly go there to play tennis. There are two courts, in a beautiful, tree covered area. There is a nice playground and baseball filed as well.
This is a beautiful park. There are plenty of trees for shade. The hills are nice too. The pavilion conveniently has tables and benches.
Not a bad little park. The baseball diamond needs maintenance the bleachers are falling apart.
Great little park! The disc golf course is great! Nice playground for kids, baseball field to play on, basketball area and mountain bike trail!
Fun course. Short and wooded, very technical. Signage isn't great, best to tag along with someone that knows the course your first time.
Playground is great for older kids, but not much for toddlers.
Some of the lights for the ball field are not working but I think they may be working towards fixing them. There were several lifts around the area.
Nice little park in West Little Rock. It has a number of playsets, a ball field and a very good disc golf course set up by volunteers. It is a clean park.
Clean open spaces. Grilling and kids playground that is really new and fun. Room to play. Lots of dog walking going on too.
This is an excellent park! Disc golf, tennis, basketball, baseball, hiking, and biking! Very nice playground too! Restrooms nice and clean.
Has a challenging but fun disc golf course. It's my home park. Used to have birthday parties here when I was a kid. Always liked Res.
There playground is temporarily closed due to renovations.
New to the park, a disc return box.
Great place . Nice park great scenery .
Nice trails for being located in a urban area. Picnic pavilions, picnic area, playground, basketball, tennis, baseball and disc golf available. Neat park.
I had no idea this park was so large! Great quiet park, great playground, pavilion, good spot to meet up.
Great for disc golf. The kids park there is a bit lacking but I love disc golf so still 5 star from me.
If you love nature, this is definitely the place to go. It's free and fun for all ages
It's amazing that so much beautiful nature is tucked away..... just inches from busy Cantrell road. It is so peaceful and relaxing.
This is where you go to picnic. I won't guarantee you'll catch a big fish. Make sure you keep on your children. U never really know who in the distance uh
Had lots of fun playing disc-golf. Love this course even though it is harder than most of the other courses.
Really like this park, it's secluded yet I the city giving it a nice quite atmosphere. I visit often.
Nice little park in the middle of little rock. Disc golf course was nice but very wooded.
It was nice. It's a lot of climbing and the kids really enjoy it.
Park looking great. I work for little Rock City mow crew. We are mowing the park now.
Great park with a good playground and new tennis court.
Beautiful park, great disc golf course...4/5 difficulty
I like that the tennis courts have lights but I don't know if I would want to be there after dark
Clean space, we rented for a graduation party and it was peaceful 😌 …
Its a quiet, rarely used park. Tennis court, basketball court, baseball field and a pavilion you can rent.
Nice place for dog walking and a frisbee golf course, softball field and restrooms.
Great playground for bigger kids
DG holes all seem to favor those who can curve right. Fun course with lots of shade.
My boys love this park. I just hate that the basketball court is so open.
Love the out door nature seeing the trees out there with the swings amazing for family party's
Nice pavilion, but no bath facility nearby.
Good venue for school camps, needs some more efforts to control the poison ivy
Great place and had a great time
Cool place to take kids and be outdoors.
Nice and easy to find. Very nice equipment.
Large and natural with several different play areas for kids, dogs, sports, picnics, walking pasha
Great new playground for kids 4+.
Had adequate enough shade for the heat and sun which was appreciated.
I enjoyed the disc golf course was fun
The pavilion is a great place to hang out
I usually really like this course. Today it truly challenged me.
Same as usual. Wasp nest in the ties around the playground. Stage missing?
A rather tough course, but nice and settled in the woods.
Love it for play dates!

Greatplace
This park is a diamond in the rough, in both senses of the word. It needs some maintenance, but it also has some real diamonds in it (and not just the baseball diamond).
There is a baseball diamond, a playground, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a large pavilion with a fireplace, and a disc-golfing course l (only one I have seen in Little Rock) that can all be found in various areas of this park. You can't see all of them from one spot; you have to drive around a bit. Most of those structures seem like they have seen better days and could use some maintenance, with the exception of the playground, which looks brand-new. To be fair, there were so many people on most of them that I didn't get a picture. The moral of the story they are functional and that people are making good use of them.
Word of advice: plan on bringing water and bug spray just in case.
There is a bathroom and drinking fountain kind of central to all the structures. However, it was turned of I believe do to the winter, so they will probably be on/open at the end of March.
From an amateur photographer prospective, there are some really nice places to take pictures, from small groups to portrait type would be ideal. I'm not sure about large groups.
This is a redundancy: I am copying my other review because this same park is listed several times....
