Rating should be 4.5 to 4.75 stars!!!!
A very interesting "hybrid" campground....
Beautiful, beautiful creek flowing thru,
wooded hillside, mature trees
All the beauty of nature!!!!!
And here's the "hybrid" part -
Its right in Hot Springs .... minutes from anything & everything in town
There's one downside to this - the tranquility and serenity of the campground is affected by the flow of traffic on Hwy 7-S, which is sometimes pretty heavy
and the traffic noise sometimes pierces the peace of the site.
Its not enough to ruin the experience by any means.....
however it is different & somewhat discordant....
But, the traffic is NEVER loud enough to drown out the beautiful babbling sounds of the creek!!!!!
The campground is beautiful, clean & well maintained. The sites are reasonably spaced - not right on top of each other.
The best sites are the ones that are located right against the creek
(we were lucky enough to get one of those!!!)
On balance .... a great campground - so much beauty, the wonderful creek
Hard to imagine that "urban camping" could be any better!!!!!

Beautiful campground with all amenities like electricity, water connection, accessible restrooms, sewer connection, small outdoor grill. There’re no showers in the compound. You can hear the water stream flowing right adjacent to the ground. It is close to the highway so you will hear vehicles passing by but that shouldn’t stop you from having a great time.

Cute NPS campground outside the city of Hot Springs. Our site isn't close to level, so we had to buy a couple more sets of leveling blocks, which is a little frustrating.
Our rig and bumper-pull coach are pushing 65' overall length and we have more than enough sir depth... really wish the pad was wider as we're a wide-body (i.e. 102") with a full-depth main slide... so we're REALLY WIDE when fully setup.
All-in-all a very good campground that's conveniently located for Hot Springs activities.

The campground is just off to the US highway 70B on the east side of hot springs. This place is clean, safe and peaceful. We visited during Thanksgiving time with friends and family members. Even though the fall color was ending but still you will find fall colors there. Very well organized camping place and it just cost $30 per night. Highly recommended 😀

We were pleasantly surprised by the ease and convenience of Gulpha Gorge Campground. Really enjoyed our stay. Camp hosts were very kind. There is a kiosk to pay at inside a little welcome center that is inside of the campground. Not the welcome center in downtown Hot Springs. Most sites are about average sized. There’s not a lot of big rig friendly sites. It’s first come first serve with no reservations to secure a site in advance. You kinda have to show up early and hope there’s still a site left. We went during winter season, so it wasn’t terribly packed. We were surprised with how busy they were though. So maybe make sure that you have other campgrounds as a back up plan. Our site had a concrete pad, picnic table, and full hookups. The water was on during winter camping. This is an older campground that is a little tight for big rigs as you are driving through looking for sites. It is manageable. We only spent one night and hope to spend a little longer if we get to come back through. It’s pretty quiet for the most part. The evening and night was peaceful. However, early morning hours of 5/6/7 am, you will hear some Diesel engine sounds from big rigs passing by. So there’s a little road noise at times. It wasn’t enough to deter us from returning. It was like having an alarm to get us on the road going a little earlier. Park rangers were very kind and accommodating. Verizon cellphone/hotspot service worked great in the area.

5 stars for a National Park with full hook ups! Clean nice sized spaces.
Different kind of park since all the hot springs are downtown in the bathhouses.
Very cool historical town.
We stayed a week in our 38' class A w/ toad. Site 42 was on the creek side and was level.
We had a great time at Quapaw thermal bath & got message too.
Loved it here They are FF sites, machine inside registration building. Easy to use
You can't pay for your site till 12:05 the day of we came in on a Sunday around 10 there were several spots open. Beautiful trails too!

Beautiful campground in Hot Springs national park. Site is paved and level backing onto flowing river with small waterfalls. Bathrooms are clean. There are no showers available. Close to Bathhouse row.

This is not a typical National Park campground!! There's alot of loud traffic that is driving very fast right along one side of this campground! Lots of semis with loud exhaust (jake) brakes all day long! There is a nice stream running on the other side of it. Only some sites have fire pits. Lots of traffic besides campers driving through the grounds all day, some at high speeds. It is very well kept up and clean though, I seen the host every day out cleaning up garbage! Some nice hiking trails at the campground but non loop back, you will need to backtrack to get back to the campground.

Site#44. This is great, but the first site in the camping part. People just walk right up and thru the campsite, and I’m sitting outside!!! They pass behind me and I’m not comfortable with anyone behind me, they park in the drive way. I’m not sure I would stay in this sight again!!! They need a way to keep the picnickers out of the camping area.

First come, no online reservations. No showers, but there’s full hookups at each site… electric, water and sewer. We paid $30 a night. Get there early to try and get a spot by the creek. We got in around 4:30pm and there was still about 4 or 5 spots available (none by the creek) on a Tuesday in January.
Stephanie Pania
It's an RV place. Small sites, very close. Not all sites have a fire pit. Bathrooms were ok. Too many lights at night, street lights and every RV has some sort of led lights blazing all night (along with their ac running all night), felt like I was sleeping at a truck stop. A couple of sites had access to the stream, most streamside sites were above/on a retaining wall. Make a reservation!
Lori Hollis
4.5. We were lucky enough to find a prime spot along the river. At $30/night with full hook-ups, you can’t go wrong. Very pretty area with a river and trails. Also very close to Bath House Row. Only negative for me, is it being first come first serve.
Collin Gallimore
Gulpha Gorge is the Hot Springs national park campground. There are rv hookups available with water, dump station at exit/entry. Has a trailhead that links to the east side of tower mountain, connecting the campground, day use/picnic, and amphitheater area with the rest of the National Park trail system. You can access bath house row and all the other downtown attractions by hiking over tower mountain from the campground, which is elevated, but not significantly long. Smallish campground, and a bit noisy from the cutoff road, but still very beautiful and scenic. Love the creek that cuts through it.
Craig Phillips
Clean surroundings, level, paved sites, easy hookups, and convenient to HS Bathhouse Row. Host and hostess are very nice and very professional. We will come back.
Justin Holstead
This campground is great and is the only one in the national Park so you don't really have much choice. Really pay attention to what spot you pick we got spot 19 and it's not that great you're very close to your neighbors. Actually just about any spot you're close to your neighbors except for the ones close to the creek and the ones closer to the highway. It's easy to start a hike from the campground and you can hike all the way to bathhouse row if you want to. Bathrooms are nice and clean and the volunteers are very helpful and sweet.
Joe Van Tassel
Nice little spot! The pay station is super convenient, and most of the sites appear to be fairly long and accommodating of decent size vehicles. We're in a van, so we had plenty of space. Our at site water and electric were perfect. Bathrooms in good shape. Everything is walking distance from the creek. The campground is also heavily shaded, which is a plus. Tables and fire rings at every site as well. Minutes from Bathhouse Row by car. Would definitely stay here again.
Brenda George
Hiked the Goat Rock trail today perfect temp 61 today and cloudy ☁️ day but absolutely Beautiful views, Everything is so brilliantly Green
Thomas Kreuser
A very nice camping area with full hook ups. The down side is the proximity to the road. The road is heavily trafficked with trucks and other commercial traffic from early morning to late evening. It does settle down after about 7pm. The level of the spaces varies greatly. We had had space 7 and it was off grade so we almost couldn’t level it with out out doing our tongue jack’s reach. The spaces along the river were the best.
Patty Smith Taylor
Great campground, full hookups. Try to get odd spaced numbers 21~43 or so, farther from the road and backs up on the creek!
Flamingo Moon Campers
Sites are tight! And roads in the Camp Ground are narrow. We have a 36 foot 5the wheel and it was a struggle to get it into the site.
Portions of 7S run alongside the campground so it’s noisy, the sites away from it are less noisy but a tighter fit for large rigs.
Otherwise it’s a nice little campground with hiking trails to boathouse row, about 2 miles each way.
Renee Autery
Our experience has been excellent. Super Reasonable prices, easy check-in kiosk, full hookups. Regular patrol by Park Ranger. Well maintained facility. We're in a travel trailer so don't need bathrooms. Our trailer is just under 29 feet and there's plenty of room in #13 to accommodate trailer and truck with room to spare. At least one of the bathroom buildings is closed for repairs.
Edward Lawrence
We were there in September 2022 in a van and tent. In many ways, as one of the first national parks in the country, the campground was a disappointment compared to other national and state parks we have stayed in. During our visit, half of the sites were closed for renovation. The sites are very small and close together. We were in site 21, next to a small creek, but others were very close to a major road with lots of traffic noise. The bathrooms were adequate but lacked showers. All sites have electric and water whether you need them or not. With national park passes, the cost was very low compared to neighboring private campgrounds. However, we would prefer to pay a little more and have the bathhouses upgraded with showers and other modern amenities.
The major advantages of staying here are: (1) its close location to the historical downtown bathhouses, and (2) the low cost compared to private campgrounds. We especially loved touring the free Park Service’s historical bathhouse. It is well worth the time to spend 1 hour there to see all 3 floors and what people came there to do 100 years ago. We also enjoyed walking through the downtown.
Overall, to visit Hot Spring, this is good for a 1-2 night stay. For longer periods we found the Arkansas State Parks and the US Corp of Engineer campgrounds spread out across the state to be much nicer and not expensive either. Almost all of them have lakes and modern facilities much superior to this national park. We especially like Petit Jean SP, Lake Charles SP, Bull Shoals SP, and the Corp of Engineers Waveland campground. All were excellent and 5 star properties.
Betty Banfield
This is a shady small campground. However, sites are very unlevel, especially site #12. There are no showers available. Other then that, it's a convenient place to stay and has several walking trails. Your best bet for a level site and no road noise is along the river.
Johann C
This is a great campground with a couple of nice hiking trails that start right by the amphitheater. The staff is extremely friendly, the facilities are kept very clean, and the overall atmosphere is nice and relaxing. However, there are a couple of things to be aware of. Not all campsites have fire rings, and there is a main road pretty close to some of the campsites so you’ll hear cars go by during the night. We stayed at campsite 7 and we were woken up a couple of times by big trucks driving by, granted it is the closest campsite to the main road.
Steven Henshall
Great camping ground, we'll marked hiking trails, a bit close to city noise for me but great place to stop. Make sure to get a spot next to the creek. We had site 36 and 37. The sites away from the creek are a bit cramped.
Alicia McGinnis
Very pretty campground close to town. Clean bathrooms, no showers. Warning that if river water levels are high the path from the campground to ALL of the walking trails is covered so you have to wait for the levels to go down or have high, water proof shoes to walk across. The trails are great and well marked.
There is some highway noise which didn't bother us. If you are sensitive to that you should purchase a noise machine (check out Dohm). We've been traveling with one for 10 years and always get a good night's sleep.
The Mike Lyons Show
Nice campground with direct access to hiking trails. The host was super friendly and helpful. Our site was adjacent to a creek, which was extra fun for the kids.
Deb Mig
Beautiful and peaceful. Camp host is very accommodating and helpful. Nice creek and hiking trails right off the end of campground. Town of Hot Springs very interesting.
Lori Cope
Campsite are first come, first served so we drove over to see if there were any available campsites but there were not. The campground is right next to a fast flowing creek that is very pretty.
Karen Pope Cannady
Easy access, friendly staff and well kept. We had a pretty significant storm last night and rangers were here first thing this morning cleaning up downed limbs and making sure everything was still in working order
Jason Olivet
The pros of this campsite are proximity to great trails, lots of shade/trees, very helpful camp host and low cost. The cons are proximity to a highly trafficked highway, no pull-throughs, no way of making a reservation & small, unlevel campsites. There is no gate so you can come and go anytime day or night but good luck finding a spot if you get here too much past noon. Between the noise of trucks within the camp and passing by on the highway, it has kind of a truck stop feel to it. During the day, the constant noise of leaf blowers is pretty annoying. The giant gator pulled leaf blower sounds like a jet taking off. The sites and the park in general are generally too small for anything over 30ft. I was very lucky to find one of the only spots in the camp that would fit my 36ft Class A, car and tow dolly but I would not push my luck and come back here. I would only recommend this camp ground for small trailers or Class B/C RVs. Way too loud for tent camping.
Darrell & Jeredene Ollenberger
Access to the park is good. Paved all the way. Signage was easy to see.
The park office is not manned. There is a self serve vending machine that will accept credit cards as well as cash. You find an unoccupied (un-tagged) site. Park your rig and then register. We poked our faces into the washrooms. There are no showers but they were clean.
Our site, 14, was a back in and it consisted of an asphalt pad with a Concrete table, Grill and Fire Pit The utilities, power, water and sewer were to the left rear. The park is adjacent to the road way but there is very little traffic that passes by so it did not bother us.
Our Verizon cell and Mifi worked well. There is not internet at the park. We did get some OTA TV. Satellite would probably be difficult. There are lots of trees.
The camp hosts looked after the park very well. They were pleasant but appeared to be firm ensuring rules and regs were followed.
We paid $30.00 per night and feel we were well served. If you have a Passport America you are entitled to a 50% discount. This is a very nice park. We would be back if in the area.

We are visiting Hot Springs National Park while in Arkansas helping my parents. The campground is very nice, and well used. Sites are a decent size, and some offer more space than others. All have 30/50Amp service with full hookup. There are two loops, we call the upper and lower loops. The lower road of the lower loop has creekside sites. All other sites are worth the stay. There are a few sites that may hold a larger rig, but like most National Park Campgrounds, these are for the 30 and under crowd (camper size, not age LOL). They have restrooms with no shower facilities. Park Hosts are friendly and helpful. Nice peaceful place to camp. While there has been no vacancies each night of the Labor Day weekend, there has been some turnover each day. Checkin is easy, find a site, park, or put something in it, and go to the registration center in the Campground. Automated machine for checkin much like a paid parking lot. There are many day visitors as well. Trails are well used, and uniquely you can hike from the campground to the visitors center. You will be glad you made the trip!
Brian Kelly
The trails were awesome. We spent hours taking our time and enjoying the hike. The family really enjoyed it. We swam in the creek after the long hikes. Awesome place to hike and chill.
Ed White
Clean neat park. Some highway noise but not loud enough to bother. The flowing water is much louder, we really enjoyed taking a day to just hang out together and relax. Park staff are all super friendly and are loaded with the areas history. We arrived on a Monday so there were lots of vacancies to choose from. Nice and humid this morning in the 70s climbing into the 90s with appx 100° heat index to finish the day.
amy oxley
Beautiful, clean campground. We camped in a tent and the traffic noise was horrible! Big trucks going by in the middle of the night scared me to death!
Other than that it’s a very pretty place
Carolyn LeCroy
Beautiful well-maintained campground. Heated restrooms, picnic table, grill, all sites shady and paved with full hook-ups. Only negative is need showets.
Michael Thomason
The drive through campsites and some others we’re small and close together. There were no showers in the campground. We stayed in site 17, it was extremely large and close to the bathrooms.
Jackie K
Triple love this campground. Full hookups for 30.00 a night. Have a Parks Pass spend 15.00. Stay up to 14 days. First come basis. Beautiful creek, trails and serene setting.
Eileen H
Road noise was constant even throughout the night and mired my experience. Restrooms were clean, but no showers. Streetlights on all night, which pierce through my tent and reduce sleep quality. Sites are very small and cramped, room for no more than 2 small tents. I wish there was a tent-only rate, $34/night is a bit steep for tent camping. Trails connect right to the campground and you can walk all the way to the visitor center. Nice stream nearby to wade in, but beware of the critters. None of the regular water fountains work, you have to use the hookup ones at your site. I had black bits floating in my water bottle from the faucet.
Jan & Hope McCrary
This is a very nicely maintained campground close to downtown Hot Springs. The bathrooms are clean but no showers. All sites are full hookups with several next to a creek that runs next to a bluff. Lots of trails to explore and you can actually take one to downtown Hot Springs.
We stayed the last of March for three days over Easter weekend and the park filled up by noon. So if you want a site, better get there early! There is a busy road that runs next to the campground so you get a lot of noise from the road. Friday and Saturday the campground was extremely busy with a lot of traffic just driving through. I'm guessing just site seeing, it became some what annoying.
WG WG
Nice and clean campground in Hot Springs National Park. The site is well maintained with electricity, water, and sewer. It also has grill and table. Matured trees provide a lot of shades. The beautiful Gulpha Creek is a must-see and also a good place to enjoy the water in summer. And the trail starts when you pass the creek.
However, the campground is too close to the public road. You will hear the noise from the car passing by especially you are at Site 3 to 7. And I wish they can add shower in the restrooms. I hope they can add a gate for vehicles and lock it during the nights.
Kristen Hicks
We just passed through on our way to Hot Springs, we did not stay at the Campground...however, the tiny little roadside smidge that we saw, was stunning!
Christina Collins
Beautiful park conveniently located near downtown. Shady, spacious campsites with full hookups and a concrete picnic table.
terry pinney
Very true that the road noise is annoying but during the day but it slows down at night . The two rows closest to the river have the river to drown it out. We spent 2weeks there as close to the road as you can get site-5 and never had any issues or bug bites. Bring leveling blocks you will need them in most sites . The walking trails are good for beginners. Plenty of room for your pets . Check in is 12:00 noon but don’t wait till then or it will be full . Not a lot to do right there close unless a strip club is what your looking for but everything is within 5 miles.
Trash is collected everyday at the bins. Staff is more than helpful and friendly.
Bev (NanaAdventures)
Easy to use Self pay kiosk. Can not get a site before 1201 pm daily. Great picnic area next to the campgrounds. I saw a few people walking in the river.
mark peters
We didnt stay here, but, we drove through and it's a beautiful place! Arkansas is, simply, a beautiful state! I never get tired of going to see it's beauty!
StuartAmber Lamkin
This place is awesome. Get a spot that backs up to the creek! Super close to downtown and there's hikes you can walk to from your campsite.
Jon Nadler
Great host! Due to an accident I didn’t arrive until after dark. Host came by while I was backing rig in to see if I needed any help. Full hook ups. Wish I could’ve stayed longer.
Chloe Allen
We have a 24ft trailer and Chevy 2500, all sites are back in. Dump, water, electric at your site, 30 a night. We got a spot right on the water and it was great! Only we needed more leveling blocks cause our hitch couldn't go down far enough. Bathrooms are super clean as well as the site. SUPER convenient to all the hiking trails, and to town! Perfect little town.
Sam Bulkeley
Great campground. The hosts were helpful. Lots of trees. Pretty stream. Pads, water, electric, sewer. Surprisingly noisy by the small road.
Donna Adams
Nice camping experience. Please keep in mind there are no showers available. Other than that a nice campground.
Lizabeth
It was a good clean campground with easy access to hiking trails. Disadvantages are lack of shower and no hot water in restrooms.
Ann Herschberger
I love this campground! Full hook up, we are self contained so use our own bathroom. Friendly campers and park hosts. We drove downtown and parked in the free parking garage. Fun little town. Others complained about road noise. During the day there were plenty of cars and trucks, but who cares? At night it was quiet and peaceful.
Donald Spatz
Very nice wooded campground with privacy. Only thing missing are showers. Easy access to the bathhouses of Hot Springs.
Mark Leonard
Vultures. This place is full of vultures, and it's all due to the 'no reservations' system instead relying on a 'first come, first served' system. We arrived on a Tuesday at 1:30 pm in mid October, the camp host came out and let us know what was available, very nice gentleman. While fortunate to have snagged a site large enough for our 38' class A (the slope is terrible, #12), moving to a better location requires the attributes of a Vulture. Circling around the campground eyeballing every site post for when the person in that site is a requirement. Heck, they might not even leave instead re-upping for more days. Then once you've spied your potential new location you'll get to wait for the occupant to leave, descend solo, or with a pack of friends to stand in the space until you can get your rig moved in. No thanks. We just stayed put, it works.
Road noise. ALL day long from 5-6 am until 8-9 pm, a fair amount from heavy trucks and the like, sleeping beyond 6-7 would be difficult. A little overnight but not enough that it was too disruptive to sleep as long as you're windows are closed.
Nice trails nearby, some steep sections, but a nice walk into town with about 5 miles total roundtrip.
Decent Verizon 4G, poor OATV with a handful of channels.
Gil Cupples
Nice place to camp for an RV or camper. Not ideal for tents as it is next to a busy highway and you can hear every vehicle 24/7. The creek is nice for wading and children to play in. No showers.
kendi oldshield
I have always loved Gulpha Gorge. Affordable camping and lots of hiking. The creek is a great place to cool down during the summer.
Jan Ruiz
Beautifully woody, loads of trees. Some sites are located along the creek. Full h/u. Sites are a bit narrow for motorhomes. No laundry or showers.
Cory Anders
Beautiful campground with a nice camphost. Small and many sites back up to the river.
Sean Hoy
Quiet cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen or smelled at a campground
B Carrington
Clean, well maintained, beautiful creek. Loved this place. No wifi.
Tim Jones
Very nice campground with creekside campsites. It's first come first serve and fills up by Thursday
Ricky Haynes
Beautiful campground in between a couple of mountains. Lovely views and close to downtown.
Sandy Dobberstein
This small campground in Hot Springs National Park is nice but not perfect. As of 2/1/2022 sites are reservable and all are full hookup. The sites are shaded but offer no privacy and are close together. Many sites aren't level. The rest rooms are clean, but there are no showers. The best sites sites are creekside as the other sites are close to a busy (noisy) road. Here in mid-February with windows closed the road was not bothersome and the campground very quiet. We reserved site 10, but due to a severe slope, we were able to move to much more level site 9.
Greg Phillips
Nice little campground. Proximity to trails and other national park activities cant be beat. Campsites are small, and not much privacy. Best ones are along the creek. Full hook ups is nice and price is good compared to the local private campgrounds. Also note, Not all sites have fire rings. Bathrooms dont have showers, so be prepared to use your RV or rough it!
Thomas W
Cool little campground!! All the sites are full hookups and first come first serve. Some are small and at weird angles so if you have a big trailer you might not fit. Sites are kinda small and close to neighbors though. The bathrooms are clean and the hosts are really nice. Very close to bathhouse row. I’d go back to here for sure
Norma Haynes
Loved it here! A first come campground with full hookup. Flush toilets and sinks. Allows both rvs and tents. Sits along a creek with two hiking trails that are in the park. Peaceful and beautiful with plenty of shade. Fires allowed and very pet friendly. The price is 30.00 unless your a senior then 15.00. Two weeks allowed. This is now one of our favorite campgrounds.
Edward Kear
Nice, relatively small National Park campground for RVs. All sites are full hookup with 50/30 amp service. Sites are paved. Most are level. There are no showers. Automated check-in takes credit/debit cards only. There is a camp host couple. Still only $30/night ($15 with senior pass). Lots of trails nearby. Close to the hot springs.
David Hawryszko
Nice Campground that's mostly shaded with fairly level sites. Full hook ups. There are bathrooms but no showers. You need to reserve ahead of time. If you get a site next to the road it's very noisy.
Leigh Klettke
Great place to RV. Yeah it's close to the road (some noise) but you'll tune it out for this woodsy setting with full hookups, hiking trails and a little creek right there. NICE National campground that's half price with a Senior Pass! Woohoo.
Dropped my phone in the Atlantic the next week, so sorry no photos. 😑
Taunya Kidd
Beautiful area just down the road from Magic Springs. Clean bathrooms are always a plus when camping
Tooonsicle
Excellent camp grounds with everything you need. Very clean, and full of friendly people when I stayed. Trail system in the area is awesome, but I was there when it was very dry. Still had a great time hiking, and my dogs enjoyed the trails as well. Would note that the trails are very rocky, and if your dog is not used to walking on such terrain it may pose issues. All in all anyone can hike here.
David Ernteman
All good here. Trails, and RV hookup at every site. Nice creek to wade into as well.
billy Hickey
Nicely paced, clean site and bathrooms upon arrival. Love the lamps that are similar to in town.
Charlsie Darlene C Mattingly
I never been to this campground. I really enjoyed walking and sight seeing with my boyfriend.
Harriott Balmer
Beautiful campground especially if you can get a spot right on the stream! Senior federal pass gives you 50 percent off...$15 a night for full hookups ups.
Jon Yuskus
Campground is pretty small and the sites are pretty close to each other. The facilities are clean and I was in site 38 with a tent. There are no tent only sites which is a bit disappointing, but the campground itself is nice.
Robert Nipp
Very nice campground with electric, water, and sewer hookups. I was surprised it was so busy on a Tuesday in December but there were still 3 or 4 spots available when we arrived at 4:00pm. Host said there were 20 empty earlier in the day. $15 a night for seniors. Kiosk check-in only. No reservations allowed.
Rebekah Purswell
Beautiful, was able to fit our 39ft TT, bathrooms were clean. Enjoyed it for one night!
Mick Shea
The sites are small, but they are in a great location, with electric, water and sewer. The campground host is attentive, making sure everyone follows the rules. It is a popular destination, and some people seem to feel entitled to break the rules. There's a delightful stream behind one side of the campground, perfect to enjoy some serenity.
Maria T
Close to the town and shops. Gulpha Gorge campground was beautiful and small. Nice creeks and trails. Clean restrooms but no showers. Sites have full hookups 30/50 amp and sewer. Good for short stays.
Sharon Shea
Nice and quiet; direct access to hiking trails; some sites are on and small creek. Sites have electric, water and sewer hook up. No showers. Short drive to mountain bike trail heads. Good mountain bike trails. We parked at the Pullman Trail head and rode the easier trails. Well marked and still challenging.
Stacey M
Just pulled off the road to sit in the picnic area by the creek. Beautiful creek and densely wooded area. Clean restroom facility. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the rather loud highway noise right next to the campground never stops. People must enjoy it though because there is no vacancy for the campsites today.
Susan Michele Campbell
The camp site near the creek is amazing. So beautiful!! Very clean !!
Brandon Myers
The volunteer staff there is great and very accommodating! Very friendly family atmosphere and clean campsites.
Trevor Huffman
Overall we had a good experience. The sites are easy to get into and have all the hookups you need.
The hard part was trying to figure out how to book. No one is manning the campground from the ranger side so no one can answer the phone. We didn't want to pull in our RV and have a difficult time getting out when there were no spots.
Luckily there were a few spots. We parked where we wanted and then paid at a kiosk. I recommend bringing something like a chair or a cone to leave behind if you are pulling back out to explore (something you don't mind losing, just in case).
Easy access to the park and the trails.
Jen Brown
Absolutely beautiful. So clean and well maintained...no worries about having my kids there.
Melodie Wilson-Chittenden
We have been in all lower 48 states. Some multiple times. This is the most beautiful campground we’ve stayed in. It is very clean and quiet. The camp host was great. Everyone was extremely nice. The creek is gorgeous! It’s mesmerizing! Wish we could have stayed there forever. Thank you Gulpha Gorge for an awesome stay!
Denise Bryan
Clean, nestled in the foothills, creek running right behind campsite, adorable cement stepping stone to other side and a short close path up to top of foothill. Friendly people. 👍🤗✔️ …
C F
Amazing campground with great hikes near the campground that go right into the town
Kendra Lawson
Definitely get there by noon for a site, unless during off season. I think best sites are middle 2 rows...seem more spacious. Some of the sites near water seem way too close.
We had Site 17, near restrooms, but felt large and we didn't notice of proximity to rr.
Road noise definitely takes away from nature and with no reservations there is definitely a vulture feeling looking for an open site.
Good mountain bike trails nearby.
3 stars for road noise and no reservations.
Ron Gierut
Nice campground. Clean. Great hook-ups. The only downside is road noise. The campground is right on a "shortcut" around downtown Hot Springs. Dump trucks. Semis. Loud diesel pickups. You name it, it travels down this road. I've stayed in quieter Walmart parking lots.
Alessandra Sealander
Great campground, very clean and nice bathrooms. No reservations and it’s first come first served. Tips to reserve: Be at the campsite a bit before noon, so you can see which sites are available. You’ll go to the cabin in the middle of the campsite to pay and reserve your site. There’s no one there, but there is a an automated machine that you’ll print your ticket from. Input your site and pay, print your reservation ticket and attach to the post outside your spot. Another tip: When paying and you want to use your NPAP discount, you’ll see that it’s not there- just press the senior discount and it’ll apply the same 50% off. Be ready to have your pass ready to show the campground host so they don’t think you’re accusing the senior discount system when the host comes to check your site.
Jessica Ridenour
My absolute favorite place to camp since I was a kid even
Brian Pellizze
Great place. All full hookup sites. Sites are a little close, but not bad. A nice hike over the mountain to town.
Chris Finn
We have stayed here many times. Nice spots with access to hiking trails and the creek. Trails can be followed to get downtown to spa row (1.7 miles). Only down-side is they don't take reservations and don't have showers.
Denise Logue
Loved be this place so much we are planning a return trip in 10 days.
jeff venable
Nice park with full hookups and long spots for big rigs. The parks is clean, quiet and had great hosts when we visited. Very helpful in telling you how to enjoy the area. A very nice creek and some well groomed trails to enjoy. Hot springs is a well equipped town for vacationers too. The bath houses are reasonable priced, ok restaurants, but out of the tourist area are full services of a city. The surrounding lakes are also beautiful and full of trails.
The sites on the creek are pretty level, but the other lots are fat, but slopes to the creek. Checkout is noon, so get there early for the best sites. The picnic areas are nice as well. The picnic area has recycling as well as trash.
Rachael j
We enjoyed the campground. First come first served meaning find a empty spot and pay through machine. No showers but toliets. Nice creek to cool down in and nice campground. Spot 3 is private but lots of road noise. Would stay here again. We did bring our own shower bag and ozark trail shower popup.
FishWith Sterling
The campgrounds where nice. The bathrooms where in pretty good condition. Nice creek on some of the campsites. Nice hiking trails and scenery. The reason for the low score is for the dogs left unattended in campers barking all day or night. Dog dropping in every nice place to walk. Should be a dog free camp. If I want to hear yapping dogs I could camp at home. Otherwise would recommend a visit.
Sam Taylor
Peaceful beautiful crystal clear creek flows around it Great hiking trails
Kayla Gluck
First come first serve means you better come early and snatch a spot. We arrived on Monday evening with no luck of finding a spot. But the camp host was nice enough to tell us we should be back by 8:30am the next day to find a spot. And sure enough, we snagged a spot right along the creek.
This place is near a busy road with trucks and whatnot, as someone stated in a previous review. But that's easily ignored when you have the sound of the running creek to listen to. Campsites are close together but again, given the location, it didn't bother us. The only complaint I have is that some spots have fire pits and others don't. We unfortunately got one without which is a bummer. Would we be back?? Most likely if we ever passed through Arkansas again.
Garry Norman
What a great little campground
Has water running through it on one side.
Has hiking trails that go all over the national park.
Bathrooms, amphitheater, community fire pit, and each side has a grill and a concrete picnic table.
Has 44 campsites summer long and summer short
I will definitely be back!

Pro’s:
* Lovely creek which backs up to some sites
* beautiful , clean grounds
* you can take a trails into bathhouse row
Con’s :
* road noise is constant ( motorcycles and dump trucks minus muffler riding engine brakes downhill)
* spaces are lovely but many are super tight , especially for class A motorhome
Our neighbor was practically under our awning
Sophal Chao
Good place for kids to play with water
Katie Kincaide
Beautiful & clean campground! Highly recommended! It’s first come, first serve for sites. All sites were asphalt. RV hook ups nice. Registration is easy & all digital. There’s a pretty creek along the camp, great for kids. There’s a trail as well.
Cindy Avant
Lots of trails to hike and just beautiful.
Jon Ledford
This is a beautiful spot to camp. Awesome hiking trails that are easy hikes for the novice hikers.
Kyle Gluck
We stayed in a spot near the creek (couldn't ask for better) it's a very beautiful little park. Like others said there is heavy truck traffic nearby but that subsides around dusk.
Be warned: some of these spots are not big rig friendly and they fill up fast as they are first come first serve. My advise is to get here as early as possible. We had to stay at the KOA next door overnight before we got a spot.
Judy Kostohryz
Today campground host Kelly & Chris were my hero’s. I was on a hike in the Hot Springs National park & became disoriented. I came upon the Gulpha Gorge campground. Kelly & Chris both stepped up & got me back to my hotel. Thank you so much for your kind & gracious assistance. Much appreciated!
Janet Keller-Horn
Nice by the creek. Road kind of busy but quiets a lot around 10 p.m. no showers. Had to Uber to and from camp to Bathhouse row.
Scott Aschenbeck
Visited this camp ground, too close to main road, lots of road/traffic noise.
Ed
Nice that it has full hookups with level paved parking sites. Bathrooms are clean, but no showers. Loud due to a road running right next to it: too many "bubba's" in their loud trucks.
jerry davis
Very nice campground. Full hookups. Great trails. Hike to downtown about 2.5 miles.it is firstcome firstserve so come early each day to get campsite. We were here during fall foliage. Very pretty drives in the area.when you get here drive thru and find your site and setup in it.if the site was rented on the day before you cannot pay for it until after 12. All payments must be a cc or a atm card. You pay at a kiosk
Laurin Marlow
Really loved the intimacy of this campground and the river is nice to wade into ❤️
Maxwell Slater
camp ground was a little close to other spaces. the location is good being near hotsprings and many hiking mountains. it is $30 a night.
Amber Speer
When I was an infant, my grandmother was carrying me across the creek on the stone pathway that goes through the water and broke her hip to keep my head from hitting the rocks when she slipped on the path and fell. I grew up visiting this place and go as often as I can. It is absolutely gorgeous and is a hidden surprise just minutes away from the busiest part of Hot Springs. Just be careful when you walk across the rocks through the water because to this day they are surprisingly slippery in places!
Nichelle Inman
Nice campground. Really great campground hosts. He actually drove me around in his golf cart to help find a site we’d be happy with and that would fit our rig. Spots aren’t too close together and most had firepits and/or grills. This is a popular campground that’s on a first come first serve basis so get there early. We got there on a Friday at 10am and there were 4 spots left.
The Edge
Really nice campground in Hot Springs Arkansas. About 10 minutes from downtown with multiple restaurants. All campsites have water & electricity. All reservations must be made at the campground office.
Jim Lindsey
You can hike into Hot Springs from the campground. It's less than 2 miles away via Gulpha Gorge and Oertal trails. The campground is near a very busy road with a lot of road noise. There are no showers .
robert altshuler
Beautiful setting. Clean area. Now has full hookups. Now is by reservation only. This is somewhat disappointing for this location to me. But it worked out there were spaces available. The rate has increased but you can still get a 50% discount with the America the Beautiful pass.
Kelli Wagner
Kind of pricey at $30 for a tent site, and no showers. Pretty landscape though, and clean bathrooms. I enjoyed my one night stay here, the camp hose was friendly. I just wish it was offset from the road more, there was a decent amount of noise from the steady traffic going by.
Regan Waits
First time camping/ staying in a trailer... loved the site, volunteers and others staying.. everyone was quick to help us learn and fix issues coming up and we had a blast exploring
HOWEVER, a park ranger banged on our door was very rude, withheld info of why he was inspecting our camper, and had no compassion or advice for fixing an unintentional issue. He wrote us a ticket for something he previously saw leaking. Be sure all is maintained so you don’t have an unpleasant run in with said Ranger.
Worshipgirl “Worshipgirl”
We stopped here to check it out since it was close to the cabin we were renting. The creek is pretty and we got in, sat on some large rocks and just enjoyed nature for a bit. The campgrounds seemed to be filled up almost the whole week we were there. I personally wouldn't camp here, just because we prefer more secluded spots and the camp sites and rv spots are really close together. No privacy.
Karen Blue
Great campground with easy access to hiking trails. We were lucky to get a spot right by the creek and close to the ampitheatre. Very pretty and although there are a lot of other RV's there, it was pretty quiet. There is a road near the other side of the campground that could be a little noisy at night if you were in one of those spots. What I really liked about this campground was the access to the creek and trails that you can hike right into the Bath House area. The trails are well maintained and if you hike the upper trails there are some beautiful views - you can even go up into the observation tower for a stunning 360 view. We went into town and back on two days this way. If we were in Hot Springs AR again, I would stay at Gulpha Gorge again.
Charles Gillen
This is a very nice park with nice trails to walk.
If you want a spot get here by 9am and be ready to grab a spot, it fills up quick.
The downfall is there is a highway right next to the park and it's very noisy.
Rob Stitt
It's a decent campground, with several full hookups. It backs up to the hiking trails that go over the mountain into town--about an hour long hike, if you're in decent shape--and you come out on bathhouse row.
Note that it is a relatively small facility that doesn't take reservations. Given its close proximity to town, I'd expect it to fill up quickly during the "on season".
Also: for some strange reason, there is nearly no parking in town for RVs. If you are up for it, hiking over the mountain is one solution--and this campground works great for that.
Andrea R.
Very nice, quite, and clean campground. We stayed in 38, the sewer is slightly uphill but the site was completely shaded all day! We caught baby crawfish in the gorge and enjoyed the brim, aka "Arkansas piranha" as the ranger put it. We will return!!
SCC (Craig)
Never camped here. I live very close by and stop to enjoy this beautiful campground frequently. Gulpha Gorge and the campground are the most peaceful areas in Hot Springs. Yes, the Gulpha Gorge road is heavily traveled and may be a little loud sometimes. Despite that, it is still a great place to take a break and just enjoy being there.
Calvin Porter
We are only here for a night this time just to exercise Maxine, our little motor coach. But, we love this place... It's always beautiful and clean. The cg hosts are always nice. The only drawback is that they do not accept reservations, so first come, first served..but, I guess that is the fairest way. Really a unique campground.... It's beautiful, with the creek and mountain along one side.
Heather Gaughan
We had a fabulous experience at this camp site. A great place to rest by the creek after a day of hiking through Hot springs. The creek stays pretty cool and keeps the temperature at a nice level in the summer.
Colleen McCalip
Do not reserve campsite 3. Less than 100 feet from busy highway. Recreation.gov sucks and even when you call them they say they can't make same day changes to reservations.
Penny Mullins
Such a beautiful place to camp! It's a small campground that takes no reservations, thus making it hard to secure a spot! The creek running alongside the grounds and the mountain views are gorgeous!!
Andrew Low
I do not know if I ever camped here in the distant past. I live about an hour away and use the park for parking. My friend and I usually walk to Hot Springs Mountain Tower. It is a good beginning and ending location. If you do go hiking, make sure you know your route. It is easy to become turned around. It is nice having restrooms in the park too. It can become busy at times. That is the main downside.
Bob Welder
This is the best national park we have ever been to. It is well maintained and many of the campsites back up to a beautiful stream and mountain. There are hiking trails galore in this park. You can even hike to Hot Springs, AR which is only a mile or so from the park. All of the sites have water, electric and sewer. We stayed four days and didn't want to leave.
Tim & Kathy Shelton
Love this camp grounds, just beautiful !
Clean lots of trees , gorge creek runs along it, with hiking trails as well. Our dog Max loves it too ! Especially the creek. So quiet and peaceful . Highly recommend this park. We are in a class c, pulling a Jeep.
Cindy Minor
Would be 5-star if not for the busy road very close to the back of the campground. We liked it here!
Greg Kopish
Excellent park and campground. The camp host was friendly and informative, and the other campers/RVers (as others have said, really geared more toward RVs than tents, though a few sites were filled by tent campers) were cordial. Would have given five stars but for the fact that for several days while we were here a grounds crew spent a good portion of the day using leaf blowers all around the grounds.
Sarah Kremer
Not great for tent camping, but it's pretty much the only place to camp to the east of town if you're trying to avoid back tracking to national forest land like we were. It's really an RV park that also allows tents. Our site was mostly cement pad with one small dirt area we were able to fit our tent. The real problem was the giant lights at every sight that came on around 9 pm and stayed on until morning. So bright it was like having a small sun on every site making it extremely hard to sleep. Really didn't expect that kind of wastefulness from a national park campground. Bathrooms were clean, ample trash cans around the park and it was quiet at night. Turn off the lights and add tent specific areas!
Chris Carroll
30 bucks a night for a campground with NO SHOWERS!! I guess if you're the only game in town you can get away with that. I wish they would have left some of the campsites primitive and invested the money in a shower house. For you RV folks this campground is 4 star. There is a road close by that gets allot traffic starting at about 5am but It's clean and well kept.
Terry King
This was the first National Park we had ever stayed at. We loved the spot we got. The hosts were very nice. Great hiking trails. Very clean and beautiful park.
Alison Austin
Gulpha Gorge Campground is situated right on the banks of a clear running river. The Trails are easily accessible & definately worth a visit. The town of Hot Springs, Arkansas is 2 miles (3.2 kms) away & offers several healing hot bath facilities.
Will _
Overpriced. Exactly as pictured. Camping in a city park. It's crowded and there are a lot of police too. Bathrooms are outdated (no showers or hot water), although very clean. The park is beautiful and the reviews do hold true, I just didn't have the best personal experience.
Kathie Newton
Very nice campground. Recently updated with full hook-ups; Fire Rings are being added. All back-in sites; shaded along a creek. Very close to Bathhouse Row. Senior discount makes it $15/night. Sites are a little close together.
Mark Fangman
What a wonderful place. Quiet and every site shaded. Full hookup for $30. Stream is fun to take a little cool off dip or just wade down and see the wilderness. Highly recommended.
Bill Leland
Very well up keep. Nice and clean. Check in is with a ATM type kios. All sites have full hook ups for $30 (before any discounts.) Draw back is that campsites are very close to each other, and the grounds are just a few feet away from a very busy road. Logging trucks use it and traffic runs all the time.
Bill Warner
What a wonderful way to see a National Park.... Beautiful grounds, nice people, clean restrooms..... and hiking all around
John Mark Cobern
Clean park. It has tent sites but no showers. It's great for RV's though. Lots of good hiking. Very well kept trails, none very difficult. You can hike over to the bath houses. Good place to bring kids.
Shelby Justice
Took the kids to play in the water and to have time away from the house and it was nice and quiet
Katie Me
We LOVED our stay at Gullah gorge. The campsites are nice, with full hookups, shade, and a picnic table at each one. We were fortunate to get a spot that backed up to the creek. What great fun!
Matthew McCully
Great place to stop! If you are lucky enough to get a spot!! Biscuit was the camp host when we were arrived. He was great and helped us find the best spot as well as any other info or help we needed! Can't wait to hit all the trails. Currently they are burning the mountain. But we had a park ranger tell us to check out lake Catherine for hiking and we would suggest going over there too!
Cheryl Kurcz
I have an America the beautiful pass , so only 15 dollars a nite. Stayed 12 days. Very close to downtown bathes area. Around 2 miles.
monique luno
We just stopped really quick to stretch our legs and use the bathroom but due to the government shutdown the bathrooms were all locked up.
Lisa Vaughan
Such a beautiful and peaceful setting, grand kids love playing in the cold creek. Husband and I love to sit out and drink coffee while listening to the sounds of the creek.....this place is so relaxing can't wait to stay another 10 days or so here......June 27th thru July 7 2019
Sunshine Meitzner
This is a nice park, miles of hiking trails connect it to the historic bath house district. The check in is with a computer, and to get your interagency pass discount you must choose the rv senior discount. Power the camp host. There's no sign explaining this. 30 (15 with pass) for electric and water, 10 (5 with pass) for parking only sites. No showers, cold water in the bathrooms.
Melissa Cross
Stunning beauty!!
Clean. Bathrooms but no showers.
Do Mo
Good places to stay near Hot Springs. Easy to get down town and had a nice stream running so it helps make the constant road noise from highway 7. We've stayed here a few times with no problems and will stay again when we want to stop and get a hot soak, stream and massage.
Mark Adams
Nice small campground. At the base of a steep mountain in the middle of Hot Springs. The baths are just over the mountain and there are trails. First-come, first-served and it filled on a Friday night in January.
Jackson’s RV Journeys
Great little park. Was under construction while we visited.
shawn beaver
It’s a wonderful place!!!
Joshua Myers
Nice camping location, clean and we'll kept. Only down fall is no bathhouse but we knew it when we arrived. Staff was very helpful.
Dave A
We are the only tent in a sea of RVs too many RVs not as private as I would hope. got the last site because it was small and close to the road a lot of traffic noise and it's hot in humid.. Alll over the United States has been about 10 degrees above average tell me we don't have global warming
Just Me April
My kids loved playing in the water. I came here as a child and it be able to bring my kids now is so awesome!
Arina Santangelo
Awesome FF campground with hiking trails that lead right into Hot Springs National. Came towards the end of peak season (mid October) and scored a spot at 11 am.
Allan Leishman
Very nice campground. All sites are first come first serve, and spots go very quickly once check-in starts at noon!
Rickie Meeuwsen
I planned and thought out my first camping experience and I picked the Gulpa Gorge campground to test it out. The camp was small and perfect for my first attempt at camping. It even rained the first night (as I knew it was supposed to), and everything worked out ok. I pitched my tent along side the river and could hear it flowing by while I went to sleep. With my senior discount it cost only $5 - what a deal!
5555Slugger
Some sites require additional blocking to get your rig level. Rangers not present, just go to your reserved site.
Ginger Shocklee
A refreshing Little River to put your feet in after a long car ride. Kids enjoyed the quick stop. (Restrooms onsight if you wanted to change clothes and get completely submerged.)
Leon Caldwell
Stayed here many times in the last 20 years. Some full hookups,1st come basis. $30 rv..$15 with senior card. $10 tent. Bathroom, no showers.Close in to town.Big rigs won't fit, small rv only. On Gulpha creek.Nice park rangers.
Camille Robin
Nice campground. River nearby. Trails to go to hot springs village
Bayou_Angler87
Great little quaint first come first serve campground. Not so friendly with oversized 5th wheels or long campers. Turning can be tight. Not far from downtown HS and neatly tucked in the valley.
Chai'el Ma'etheius
The park was excellent in every direction except do not come in the summer when it is extremely hot, I thought I was prepared for the hikes and visiting the hot springs found throughout the park but I did not bring enough water to drink... by the end of the day I ended up going to the emergency room caused by dehydration.
Inez Brauer
It was a pretty place do not like the rack that you can make reservation ahead. Some drive quiet a ways to find it full.
Rambling with Raje Anand
The hiking is wonderful here. The park is small and always pretty full , year round. The fantastic Senior rate makes it a great place to stop and be near a favorite city of mine...
Justin Harrison
I've live near by and drive through regularly. Its a nice little area to relax and enjoy. I gave four stars because I think the traffic would detract from the camping experience.
Laurie Davidson-Smith
Randy and Henry gave us an amazing golf cart tour to pick out our amazing spot. Grounds were nice and most spots have a fire pit, finally. Many spots out west do not allow fires, so we have been carrying wood around for awhile, all the way from Moab, Utah. Hiked on the Dead Chiefs trail all the way to the bath house for a dip in the minerals. 👍🏼 Mitchell the Uber driver was a great tour guide and was patient as we picked out our dinner at the local supermarket. Don’t plan on carrrying a backpack in, as you will need to leave it at the office. #wedontstealmeat Lol 😂
Derek M.
Very nice paved campground with full hook-ups. $30 a night. Less than two miles from downtown Hot Springs. Great ace to stay.
Donald Vann
Would give it a 5 rating but I not sure if it is a campground or a construction site with the skill saw an table saw noise. Beautiful, serene, place being interrupted by some inconsiderate people.
William Hamm
Super clean. Free picnic are and they have pay spots for rv camping. Love the creek and the trails that lead to downtown Hot Springs.
Stan Pendergrass
Small campground but it's one of our favorites. The creek is always running. Fun place
2 Coasts
Loved this campground. Nice tree shaded sites. Although no reservations, some seemed to open up every day. Volunteers doing a GREAT job.
Keith V
The volunteers here are great. We came down from Minnesota and enjoy a few days in this park. Other than a lack of showers, it's a great facility.
Jenny McFarland
Great creekside camping with hiking trail access. No showers, so that's why only 4 stars. I guess that doesn't bother campers in big RVs that have their own.
Marcus Vines
Very kool place
5 5
nice place to camp host very friendly lots of hiking trails some sites are under construction but was never bothered about it only complaint no showers but still very beautiful campground nd i didnt see any tweekers like someone else was saying lol
Trent Shanks
One of the nicest rv parks to be so close to everything.
Ken
This campground is one of the most beautiful I have been at; I have only been at three that compared. The campground hosts were wonderful
And helpful. I will definitely call here again.
Ken
Mark Leonard
This is a real nice and close place. But I swear my site has thousands of ticks. They look like the lone star tick and I just at the site setting up had 6 on me
They are on the steps, the side, all over and they feel like they are climbing all over you.
Stephen Steinman
great little camp ground right on the creek we will be back
Leann Hawley
Very nice place! Clean, hiking out from park, stream runs next to it,lots of trees. Would definitely come back.
Debbie Askins
Trails to the historical town of Hot Springs, trails along gorge, trails to observation tower, full hook ups, ampitheater for ranger programs, bathhouse, camped along Creek... just the best! Thank you National Park System!
Kelly Richards
Such a beautiful campgrounds! We were near the water...so peaceful and relaxing!
Kimberly Carlson Orosco
Plenty of room, quiet, very clean. We hiked nearby and were close enough to town for amenities. We will definitely be back!
Cameron Holl
Nice campground, but a little expensive at $30. There are nice bathrooms, but no showers. All sites are accessible to RVs.
Jeremy Jacobs
Get a full tank of gas no bathrooms no stores nothing except you and nature. We had a great time there we fished and walked found a lot of white quartz
Steve S
Honestly? Gulpha Gorge is the best part about Hot Springs National Park. It's sad how commercialized this national park is compared to most in the US. Was kinda disappointed.
Sandi Wahlberg
Great campground. Quiet, but no showers!
Holly Room
Nice place to hike. Really pretty creeks all through the area. It is fun to get in a splash around a bit. Nice way to cool off in the summer.
B P (BP)
Beautiful campground and hiking trails. Camp sites were nice amongst trees. Very friendly and informative park ranger. Nice babbling brook.
Craig Waugh
Great place to stop off and take a breather down by the creek. Haven't camped here but looks decent and good bathroom facilities.
Shalonda Holden
Friendly staff, beautiful location. Our first time camping and it was great. Girls trip # 2 on the way.
Upper Shelf
We had a great experience here. Restrooms but no showers.
SWC72227 Channel
Best campground for kicking back and for hiking! Beautiful Hot Springs National Park!
Ryan Pennington
I've come here for over 20 years, and it's still just as beautiful. Granted, It's hard to find an ugly corner in the Hot Springs forests, but don't pass this up.
Connie Glynn
What's not to like? FHU, low cost, quiet and most sites have shade! Internet access on my phone is good and so is antenna television reception!
Gary Engstrom
Very nice campground, great hiking on the otherside of the creek. Full hookups available.
Cassandra Barber
Clean and pretty well kept park. Not very scenic but we got a good night's rest and only 5 minutes from downtown Hot Springs.
Daniel Pavese
Super neat, clean little campground. It is first come first serve, checkout is 11 and sites open up.
Sam Craven
Looked clean and safe. There were plenty 9f slots open if you had a RV. Not sure about tent or primitive camping.
Heidi Maciejewski
Amazing campground and hiking area. clean friendly and hike was so fun will go back again for sure
Dee Shear
Wow this place has really changed. It was all big campers. The park was full. I didn't see a tent in sight. Very crowded.
Patricia Dover-Bedwell
Beautiful area and very close to Hot Springs. Do arrive before dark because the road is curvy to the campground and the entrance is very hard to find in the dark.
Mark Richmond
A terrific and beautiful campsite. Full hookups for RVs, plus tent camping, and a free picnic area for Casual stopping by.
Marty Malone
Great quiet campground, close to everything in Hot Springs arkansas.
Joselyn Alba
Nice place for camping. We were next to the creek (BEAUTIFUL). The Rangers were very friendly too. Clean bathrooms.
Alonzo Graves
Very beautiful park, plenty of spaces available. Very close to downtown Bathhouse shopping and entertainment venues!

Gorgeous campground. Lots of trees. The creek is amazing. Hiking right out of the campground.
Angel Bermudez
Beautiful campground with full hookups. The hosts are super nice. The sites fill up on the weekends.

Quiet and peaceful. Great for a break in the woods.

Beautiful spot to overnight or day picnic. The creek is fun to wade and explore in. Perfect family spot.

Shane Wood
Great campground! Got a great site next to the water.
Robert Allgaier
Very quiet and well laid out campground, with a burbling brook running through it.
Stephanie Bernasconi
This is a really nice campground with really clean bathrooms. My only complaint is that they seem to cater more to RV then tent campers
Emma R
Beautiful place. Very clean camp grounds and restrooms. Friendly staff.
Janice Taunton
Loved it very much
Bridget D Mauldin
Great camping and good clean park. Easy in and out
Tanisha Gordon
One of the most beautiful places on earth in my opinion I love coming here to hike, relax and enjoy the scenery.

We really loved the location. Very clean and well organized. Needs hot showers.
Christy Roark
Beautiful trail walk
John Fisher
Love this RV park. I've stayed in several RV parks in the Colorado Rockies, but love this one..
