We stayed more than ten nights at this beautiful and well maintained KOA Campground on Boulder Highway in Las Vegas last month. Absolutely friendly, helpful and professional staff. Awesome pool area, totally clean and tidy. Easy access to public transport to Downtown Las Vegas. We'll definitely come back and highly recommend this location.

Totally recommend this place. Everyone has been so nice to us. We’ve arrived with our rented RV’s black water tank almost falling apart and they help us with the phone calls we needed, specially Sharon, we couldn’t make it without her.
The showers and the laundry room are great and you can find everything you need here. Also, it’s quiet at night and it’s close to Vegas and Hoover dam.

Great staff very helpful . Clean pool and hot tub . Space we stayed in was pull through mostly gravel areas with paver patio and law furniture. Short walk to casino . Took kids bowling and nice little arcade inside too . $40 round trip Uber to and from strip . Def some sketchy people in area . Locked up tight at night. Walmart nearby . Overall good stay . Dog area is gravel not great for dog paws .

This is an amazing KOA. They have two separate areas. In 2021 we stayed at the premium sites and could not have been happier. In 2022 we stayed in a site very xlose to the office. It had its own pergola and small dog pen with a shade tree. Southern hospitality is real in the West at this terrific campground. The staff was wonderful. So friendly and helpful! Spacious sites! Convenient location! Clean showers and restrooms. Safely surrounded by gates and restrooms, showers and pool have a coded entrance. We loved this place!

Loved staying hear! My girlfriend and i recently moved into our motorhome full time and Koa definitly treated us well as new full timers. Accomodating us even tho they are not technically a full time park. Locked us in for 4 months. We did end up checking out early but the full month we stayed was fantastic! Other than the surrounding area, Sams Town casino we frequented, catching movies and dining. The park was clean, security were super cool and supportive and the staff was very friendly! 5 out of 5 stars! Thank you Koa! Look forward to seeing your other parks throughout the US 👍

Great campground about 20 minutes from the strip. We originally planned to stay 4 nights but could only handle one with the heat. We are in a camper van so if you had no plans for the day you better plan to stay in the pool as heat is a serious thing here...we are not from this climate so for us it was a shock but at 9am it is already 103 degrees some days so be prepared. However the front desk staff were super helpful, nice store and bathrooms and showers. Pool was heaven!

This is a very well-maintained and groomed park. Staff is always out on patrol in their little golf carts and they’re Johnny on the spot with any repairs need to be made. Office staff is very friendly and accommodating. The drive-through spots are nice because RVs face opposite directions. The park has all the amenities including swimming pool, laundry room and showers. The only negative I would say is the pads are very close together, There are no picnic tables and if there were there wouldn’t be room to put them. The pads are primarily small P gravel which you can track into your unit very easily.I certainly would stay there again if I was in the area. Although there were several vacant spots the day I took these drone photos the place does fill up pretty quickly.

I cannot say enough positive things about this KOA! Everyone is so friendly and helpful from the maintenance guys that gave my dog a treat and some pets to the office staff…way above and beyond. Chris is the best and helped me during a stressful time! They really care about their customers and will go above and beyond! My spot accommodated my big 45 foot fifth wheel and my cargo trailer. This is close to gaming but safe and secure. I will definitely be back!!!💗💗💗😎🎉

Very nice, clean, well maintained. Excellent staff, kind and helpful. Wide paved roads, easy to navigate. Long, wide pull thrus. Good clientele. Large, clean laundry room. All of the buildings are very cute design. Enough roadway for nice morning/evening walks. Easy walk to Sam's Town for restaurants, bowling, movies, gaming. The only downside is the typical KOA lukewarm hot-tub full of kids who don't mind any manners.
Holly Z
Beautiful large park. Plenty of space for our big motor home & tow vehicle. Super friendly helpful staff. Neat & tidy. Only downfall is the noise of Vegas- sirens, airplanes, helicopters, people & barking dogs. Certainly not the fault of KOA. Plenty of conveniences in the area. Casino, restaurants, huge bowling center, movie theater, hotel, pool & spa all on the property.
Daniella Stagaman
Great park. Our family of 5 with 2 dogs had a lovely time. Pool was a little cold but we were able to relax in the spa! Definitely will be returning for any of our next Las Vegas trips.
Alacia Rathjens
We stopped here going over to the Grand Canyon and returning home both times they were very accommodating with adding days for our stay! Nice staff, clean facilities. Nice pool and laundry.
Would recommend this as a stop off and walking distance to Sams Town.
Steve Egbert
The employees were very nice. The park is very neat and well maintained. The pull thru sites are good size, I can keep my car trailer hooked up to my 38' Class A. Relatively quiet for the in town location. Highly recommended.
Jamie Hammond
Awesome place for a couple days to stay while in Las Vegas. Pool was very nice and relaxing. Grounds are well maintained and washrooms are immaculately clean. Great job to the entire staff, start to finish. Will return 💯 …
T. McBee
Great location for us. Spotless facilities. Well kept grounds. Loved the pool and hot tub. Laundromat was convenient and clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Well stocked camp store.
Christopher Salazar
Terrific KOA! This is our favorite place to stay when traveling through Las Vegas. Chris, the manager, and his staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests enjoy their stay. Sam’s Town KOA has all the amenities you’d expect from a KOA and more! Conveniently located near casinos, shops, and the cleanest Walmart I have ever been to.
Maciek Zarecki
The best option in the town. Super friendly staff. They found our sleeping bag witch just flew away from the car during stron wind. Check in included all the hits what to do, where to go, how to move etc. Always worth!
Tim English
Not quite what I was expecting but ok option to visit Las Vegas in an rv. Check in was easy and staff were friendly. Main complaint was that the shower water was not hot (even at 5 in the morning). Same with the hot tub. More like a “tepid tub”. Also no shuttle to downtown any more: COVID is as over as it’s going to get so time to start bringing back amenities. Reply to owner. It was the main showers that were cold. Only tried the hot tub once but it was not 104 that’s for sure.
Alberto Ramirez
Clean, well maintained and the staff is friendly. The KOA is 20 minutes from the strip but next to good sized Casino. The rates are super affordable and the park is quiet at night although it is next to a busy street. Currently the pool is open but the jacuzzi is not (April 2021). I have been coming to the this KOA for about 4 years and I am planning to return early next year.
Kathleen Neumeier (Kat & Ron's Adventures)
Enjoyed a visit at Sam’s Town KOA in Vegas. Very efficient and friendly staff, shout out to Sherri for her help. Clean facilities, great pool, good laundry. Definitely would recommend and we’d stay here again. Close to dining, shopping & gambling.

Great experience, peaceful and quiet ,the staff was amazing , it is suck so civilized park..do I need to say more I'm from las Vegas and the experience is amazing..Walmart across street Casino next door they pretty much got everything near buy RV dealerships near by also!! Will be coming back!!! I miss it here!! There are two Koa campground stay at the one closest to the casino side the other one is on the Nellis Blvd side
Shawney Wellmann
Great place! Staff friendly and helpful! Dog runs close to camp site! Safe and clean!!
Only drawback is the noise level outside the camp! Sirens and helicopters all night and day!
Brandi Stewart
Loved it right down the street from the strip we was able to drop are camper trailer and go to the strip eat and casino. Very friendly hot showers.

Our family of six (kids ages 3-12) had mixed feelings about our stay. Based on our experience, this KOA is quite different from others... though many basics remain the same, the customer demographic and neighborhood were two dramatic diferences.
It was, however an ok stay overall and there were some aspects that were definite pros! Site was level and fully functional with plenty of space for larger vehicles. All facilities were very clean too. We enjoyed the spacious pool (3-4ft deep) and laundry. Washers and dryers were larger capacity than other KOAs we have been to. 👍
Some differences from standard KOAs made us less comfortable as a family. The neighborhood is in an area where surrounding houses have bars on the windows and disrepair. Our neighbor campers seemed less like campers and more like temporary residents whos extended stays were evident by insulated windows, wood constructed stairs/decking and general yard clutter accumulated over time. Security patrols were more frequent too (though that would be a positive review in this case). Our site backed up to a wall with concertina and barbed type wire at the top to prevent climbers.
We did not feel unsafe during our time here, but it was also hard to really relax. Overall, seems like they are trying to do their best to provide a clean safe facility in a less campground-typical community.
We probably would not visit again at this location given the other options that Las Vegas has to offer but, our stay was ok.
Attila Molnár
Not too far from the Strip in LV and good facilities. Pet friendly laundry with a separate machine for pets. Good pool and hot tub. Not completely new but well maintained facilities.
Jon
We stayed here just one night passing thru. Was clean and quiet, even though it's on a busy blvd. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially 6'3' and all legs. Casino next door was fine and not too far of a walk. The only thing I didn't like was the bi-directional Pull Thrus, you could stand in the middle and touch two RV's.
Peter Fairhead
Awesome place... nice easy checking with very helpful staff. Wide roads to site. Nice easy back in site. Needed propane... no problem was able to fill on site... overall definitely a place we will stay at again... recommend
VN W
Good camp ground...clean restroom area and clothes washing facilities. Walking distance to Sam's Town Casino. We will be heading back.
Tracy
We were skeptical about staying in our RV in Vegas but this place was great! We felt very secure. Enjoyed the nice cool pool and the man that check us in (Friday at 5:00) was soooo nice! Check out the enchanted forest in the Sam's town casino...our kids loved it.
Lady Bonser
Due to my lack of experience I didn't book properly, but at check-in they went out of their way to accommodate us. Made our trip a success.
Ashley C
First, the people here are just amazing. Everyone is super friendly, especially Walter. We came in a little earlier than expected, then didn't really like our spot, so without batting an eye Walter moved us. If you are hauling a travel trailer or driving an RV in Vegas this campground is a must!
Joanna Pahlow
The RV Park was fine, its better than some. The laundry is good. Some of the staff were helpful others were very cranky and I'm not sure why. They were this way from the get go. I'd guess they deal with a lot of nonsense being in Vegas. We were not able to connect to the Wi-Fi from our computers, but we could from our phones. It is much slower than a cell connection, but better than nothing. If you stay here ask for your happy hour card when you check in, the bartender told us and we had to pick it up the next day. There was a woman who walks her dogs at 9:15pm at night in the dog park her dogs are small annoying barker, but who cares my dogs don't like barking so I figured I'd just walk them on the grass in front of the dog park and leave. The woman starts screaming at me like a crazy person that I should take my dogs and leave, because she just got off work and her dogs had to go and they wouldn't go if they were barking at my dogs. One of mine was busy relieving herself, so I said obviously mine needed to go as well. She continued yelling at me ( I was going to leave when my dog finished, because who wants to get yelled at) telling me she just got off work and stating that I hadn't. I calmly said I had just as much right to be there. More screaming. I left. I don't suggest walking dogs close to 9pm. She may actually work there, not 100% sure.
Vic Ritchey
Surprisingly this KOA which is a Journey has swimming and several grassy dog runs. It's right next to a casino. Its a good spot for those going to The Strio in Las Vegas, which isn't far away.
Viren Patel
Awesome campground. Clean facilities and great pull in and outs. Entrance and exit are also super easy. Staff are really friendly and helpful
Jerart
What a beautiful campground for being in Las Vegas nice level sites all blacktop roads great restaurants next door nice casino we have our pets and got a pet site with fenced in pet yard the staff is super friendly and informative and only six mile from the Vegas strip would definitely stay here again just not in August
SightseeingSally
Reasonable overnight rate, very clean, pet-friendly
Stayed one night in our 34 ft motor coach during December 2016 while passing through on our to Rachel, Nevada.
Rate for one night is reasonable and includes hookups, wifi, showers, and use of heated pool along with easy access to the casino. From our experience, wifi seemed ok - the typical RV park offering.
Overall, this park is very well kept with clean facilities (restrooms are a little dated but clean!) and grounds. Park is very pet friendly and has a nice doggy area. Sites are rather narrow, though, (packed in like sardines) so would not stay here long term.
Laurentius Joseph
Friendly staff and nice kept park . I'll definitely come back if I'm back in Vegas.
Lana Whitver
My only complaint about this campground is there is no shuttle to the casino. It's always clean, spacious and plenty of showers.
Tim K.
We have stayed here many times, It used to be a good Sam park with reasonable rates, Now the cost is very high, 80 plus a night for a 70 foot pull thru, your neighbor is right next to you, In other words not much room, Koa does not seem to take care of the landscaping very little shade, Have never used the pool or showers so I can not speak of that, Overall not a bad place for 1 night but kinda costly now, And not the best part of town for sure.
RCA Sales
We stayed here for 7 days recently. Lots of room, lots of things for the whole family to do. It is a great KOA.
Kathi Lester
Well organized, friendly staff, close to Sam's Town Casino (walking distance), clean park with good facilities.
Rosalind Gardner
We used to stay at the Circus Circus KOA. When KOA moved to Sam's Town, the RV Park at CC fell to ruin, so we stayed at the Sam's Town KOA on this trip. The park is clean and well-maintained. The free Wi-fi is terrible, but there is a paid option. Biggest downside to this park is the lack of site space - crammed in like sardines.
Tonya Johnson
Stayed here for 4 days in February. My back-in spot was very spacious. Hookups worked well. Laundry facility was very clean. Hot tub was really nice. Staff was very friendly. Will stay again when in the area. Really like how things are set up at the Boulder Highway section.
Hope Martinez
We spent a couple of nights here and the park is nice and quiet. Staff is really nice. Spaces are big and well taken care of. There are some long timers here that are a bit dumpy. We were put next to a broken down truck and trailer with garbage in the bed of the truck. Which wasn’t the greatest, but they did keep to themselves and we had a good time.
Kelley Fox
Great place to stay. Friendly staff, safe and secure. Close to everything you need.
David Langston
Stay was great. Facilities clean and maintained. Staff very helpful. Dog runs could have more grass but are good sized. Spaces narrow and no outdoor table. Will definitely return when going to Vegas.
Daniel J
Good KOA, facilities were nice and in great shape, clean and friendly staff. Dog park was a bit run down though. Close to activities and tourist spots in the area.
Robin Tallman
It's a really nice campground. Very clean, nivr swimming pool, nice laundry room. Only complaint i have and that's only because im not from a really hot state needs more shade trees and picnic tables.( i know you can't do anything about the trees)
Mark C.
Typical KOA. Not in a super great part of town but not that bad either. Casino was kinda run down. Needs updating. But we had fun.
Volker J. Niehues
Very good, clean restrooms and showers, clean Landry. Teh employees are very friendly. The pool and poolhaus is also very nice.
Butch Glidewell
Who doesn't live a park in downtown town Vegas. Everyone was super nice. Loved this place
David Woods
Only stayed one night, but would stay much longer next time. Fantastic option for an economical stay in Las Vegas. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, site was easy to navigate with enough space, and amenities were clean and convenient.
Rex Oranchuk
Was a good stay, the whole place was clean and staff was awesome, we stayed here a few nights on our way to Disneyland from Calgary AB, Uber rides to the strip and Freemont we’re reasonably priced making this an ideal location to set up👍 …
Michelle Ashley
Not much ambiance but clean, accommodating and very consistent with KOA standards. Dog parks located in the facility were greatly appreciated!
Carl Adle
Very clean RV park. Staff very friendly and helpful. The park's sites are narrow and in the pull through sites there is no room (with a 40ft rv and tow) to set out a grill and a couple chairs. Very noisy all day and night because of the airport. You are within walking distance to the casino and the free shuttle service to either downtown or the strip.
Calvin Jones
Good times at the Sam’s townKOA. Need to fix the hot tub so the pumps work... The temp in the hot tubs was just right, but the pumps didn’t work. Other than that, great place to camp.
Kevin
First time visitor, and I will be back. Combo campground and casino, theater "et al" was great...plus proximity to local retail stores was a plus
Carol too rare to mention
I was pleasantly surprised.
I had heard some rumors about this place and thankfully they were all wrong.
The spaces were average. The clientele was quiet.
Best pet areas I have seen so far.
The laundry facilities were the best I have found anywhere including the dryer only needing one round to dry two washers worth of clothes. The staff was nice. Right next door is the casino and across the street is Wal-Mart.
JIll thordarson
Great customer service here.
Sites are gravel pads with some having small trees for shade.
For a campsite in the desert, near a casino, (Sams Town) it’s a good stop over.
Sams Town casino however was pretty tight …. Not lose slots at all.
Jeff Edwards
Nice, friendly park. Would have given a five star if there were shade trees. Direct sunlight on a gravel, paved lot w no shade is hot here in Vegas
Amy Spotts
Well....
The price is high for a gravel parking lot. Pool is always dirty. Between two casinos. Whether it is owned by the casino or KOA, you think they could offer a little landscaping to the area (color).
mary Hodges
Check in and stay is just absolutely wonderful! Everyone here is so very very nice. And it was the easiest check in I have ever encountered anywhere that we have stayed! it brings back many memories of when I lived here and worked for Sam Boyd! ❤️ Very clean park with many amenities and friendly staff! Thank you!
Lynette Allen
Very nice campground. Level spots with plenty of room. Very clean restrooms! The price and location are great. Everything you need in one location. Gary at the front desk is just the best, all the employees are nice and friendly. Will definitely stay here again even though we can stay free down the street this is so much better
Bob Kerner
This is a very expensive parking lot. Located right next to Sam's Town Casino.
The good news is; it's clean and well maintained. Mostly newer vehicles inside the park.
The bad news is; the neighborhood that surrounds everything.
As much as I hate to admit it because I used to love coming here... this is a very dangerous part of town.
If you're coming to stay at the park I would limit your selves walking to and from the casino only. Anything else, make sure you're in a vehicle to get there.
Justine schellekens
Perfect spot to explore Las Vegas. Showers and toilets were clean as well, and the people were so friendly!
David Lucas
Great place to stay. Very clean and restrooms were very nice. Pool and Jacuzzi well maintained. Super friendly staff and checkin was easy. Good dog run areas. Right next to Sams Town. Best place we have stayed so far on our trip. Will stay here anytime we visit Vegas.
Nicolas Rodriguez
We visited this place in april 2022. I honestly can not find anything negative about the place or the services provided. Clean bathrooms, clean loundry room, excelent pool! Good prices, NO NOISES AT NIGHT and the staff is awesome! The lady named Sharon was so helpfull with us, she even lent us some tools we needed to fix the grey water tank in our RV. Her husand was really helpful too. I just wish everyone in America was half as nice as she was. We will definately come back and visit. Totally recomend this place, it'll make you feel like you are a part of a big familly.
Christian Rasmussen
Really nice location. Sam's Town is nice.
Great place to start a rv vacation. Big walmart on the other side of the road.
Located in the not so busy Las Vegas, and district is probably no good for walk in the neighborhood. But camp site was secure and nice.
Violet Moyer
The only KOA that I have ever experienced so close to casino. Literally walking distance to Sams house casino. With a Walmart across the street and 20 min Uber to the strip, it is a lovely option to meet your camping supply needs as well as Vegas nightlife wants. Each area has nice fire pits, but everything is a little run down. The pool was full of leaves. The hot tub was ice cold, and the showers needed repairs
Tessa
Good amenities, nice campground. Loved the paw pen site we had.
Lee Ann Quam
We enjoyed our night and was glad they could provide more time for us. The only issue I had was the shower Temps were Luke warm. I didn't enjoy shower. And the person who cleans them didn't do a very good job cleaning the walls. But other then that It's an awesome place to stay.
Moritz de Roy
Worst campground ever!!
Phone Line was unable to reach in advance (tried 4 times was put on hold for half an hour), lady at the front desk gave us wrong directions, road and office in second Campground was closed (no quarter change for washers at second Campground), only cold showers at women an men’s bathroom, women’s bathroom under construction, dead cockroach behind the washingmachine (!!!!), drink water fountain broken, loud due to traffic, pool dirty. Worst experience ever! Totally can’t recommend this KOA !!
After this review we were able to speak to the manger, who gave us a good discount - so upgraded the review to 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kc Kay
Great RV park, clean, friendly staff, a shuttle that takes you to the strip or downtown. Nice pool and hot tub, really has everything you need.
Wendy Flanagan
We dealt with Diane most the time while we we’re here. She has been a great help and also very accommodating to our needs. She put us in a spot and we wanted to be in a shadier spot so she looked and looked. They were all full (shady sits) but we pretty much just got to pick our our own spot at the campsite. She never seemed to mind my asking for so many things..lol!
Everyone at the site was very friendly and accommodating. We had some repair work done and they have some recommendations that could come out. Job well done…We appreciate all everyone done to make our stay a great one.
The ONLY negative thing I could say is the shower rooms were HOT inside. So after taking even a cool/lukewarm shower you are sweating before you leave the shower room. And I was the only person in there. I had to put my clothes on and go to my RV to finish getting dressed.
J JL
Great RV park not that for from downtown.. reasonable prices..
April Popham
Staff was nice. They upgraded us to a larger site for free after seeing our camper. It was nice to have room for our vehicle. My biggest complaint is people are not good pet owners. There was dog feces in empty sites. People let their dogs run free without being properly leashed. I saw multiple dogs that were not leashed. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.
Jaclyn Delacroix
The staff here we're super friendly and helpful, spots were level and easy to get into.
James McGillis
Friendly, efficient and safe. Like most older RV parks, drainage during a rainstorm is sketchy.
George Sykora
Really nice site. All the sites are pea gravel and perfectly level. Every other site comes in from the opposite direction. This makes it so that trailer doors face each other, vs. one trailer door facing the sewer line of it's neighbor
CarolAnn Farley
Made a reservation this time and got the large pull through so we didn't have to detach the truck. Lots are close but easy to pull through, minor level issue because the leveling blocks just slid on the gravel but since our heads were going to be up and we were only staying for the night we just left as is, it was level side to side. The first time we paid $79 but by making the reservation and getting a discount for military service we paid $57 this time. The first time we stayed there we found out that we could bypass Las Vegas traffic going from Henderson to Ely, NV on a nice two lane highway. This time the office gave us a map to get out of town that would bypass Phoenix traffic on the 202, so the only large city we had to deal with on our 1200 mile trip was Tucson and at 8 pm at night, it wasn't too bad. Anyway, will use the same KOA again if the occasion arises.
Katy Strojny
This place is clean and convenient. The downside being that your site is basically a parking spot. However, we spent most of our time away exploring Vegas anyways.
Année
This is one of the best KOA's I've stayed at. Its CLEAN AND SECURE, with big level sites and all the amenities in downtown Vegas! What more could you ask for?
Brian Styles
Friendly staff, but can't give a higher rating with the abysmal internet speeds of less than 2Mbps (day and night). We always book one night before deciding if we're going to stay longer at a campground and this is why we didn't...
Rving Mojo USA
My 4th visit. Most spaces are just a parking lot but you do have room to park next to your rig or stretch out. A lot of spaces in hot sun very few with shade. Can be noisy from traffic on other side of wall in some spaces. A fan drowns out most of it. Easy in and out. Guest host very welcoming. Put on your walking shoes as there is plenty of places to walk around the Sam Town complex.
Dusty Brosius
Very nice, friendly folks.
The grounds are very nice.
Well kept sites. Desert landscaping with some grassy areas with a few small trees. Only a couple of small shady spots.
The Bathrooms, Showers, pool facilities and store are all very well maintained.
I'll stay here again.
Dallas may
We stayed for 21 days (January 15, 2022 to February 5, 2022) in spot 313 with a 42’ fifth wheel. While this location is close to the dog park and trash dumpsters it can be quite annoying when at 6:30am the trash truck is there to empty the dumpster. Additionally, was a little disappointed that shuttle buses weren’t running down to downtown and the strip from Sam’s Town due to COVID. We used UBER so we didn’t have to worry about parking (cost was about $16.00 on way + tip). downtown or on strip.
Pamela Tapert
We arrived to a very welcoming group of people who were happy to have our business. The check in was easy and quick, the store on-site is clean and nice with minimal of items.
The location is off the street but our noise at night was bad lots of car engine reveing, heavy truck engines and someone's radio was loud at 3 a.m.
Otherwise ,I will recommend this location as a nice RV park with minimal RVers, lots of room clean
david pierce
Fantastic place to stay, staff friendly, helpful, loved the text alerts when windy or something happening in town... Sites were small but clean and utilities were perfect. Very nice stay from Oct 11, 2021 - March 13, 2022
Ells Campbell
One of the best KOA locations I’ve come across. It is a pleasure to stay and we often extend by 2-3 days.
If you show up late, there’s usually an attendant in a truck waiting by the front door. It not, call the number on the door.
John Ross
What a fantastic RV park! Come for the life and fun of Vegas, stay and play at the KOA!! The staff is SO friendly and helpful. We loved the sun, the birds, and friendly atmosphere here!
Michael Li
We stayed here from mid October until the end of February and couldn't be happier. It is Vegas so there was little or no shade but this isn't the campgrounds fault. The customer service was outstanding and cheerful. I was doing laundry and one of the machines wouldn't get going, so I called the office and within ten minutes, the machine was up and running. It was well patrolled by security and constantly being cleaned and picked up. Nice place. We will stay here again
Laura Fredrickson
First time at Sam's Town KOA in Vegas! Very neat and organized park. Easy access to some Vegas night life. Will definitely be back!
Sydney Everhart
This KOA was nice has pool and hot tub but this is not a KOA for relaxing...really just a good safe place to overnight. Although I didnt get much sleep due to the sound of planes above us all night. Also it is tight for a long haul big rig.
Yhane Sanders
One of the best RV park in Vegas! 5 star for you and thank you for giving us a military discount :).
Beautiful nice and clean RV resort. They even put us in front of the pool and restroom better 🙂.
Yhane and Charles
We love it
Marcin Frączek
Late check in, late check out. Only one night to see Vegas. Everything was perfect! Thanks a lot!
Rafa PerCall
Convenient located, lot of shopping near, casino, peaceful place.
maria olivares
Overall it was a good experience, staff is always courteous. We stayed at a patio site which is on the other side of the campground, keep this in mind, since if you want to go to the Sam's Town hotel you either have to drive there or walk. Everything is operated with codes and like other reviews I've read it does look like there's some permanent resident there. I only stayed there for a night and several police and ambulance where in and out. If you're a light sleeper be aware of this. There's several dog runs but no grass. The pool and hot tub were nice, I enjoyed the hot temperature on that hot tub.
Laura Lee
Overall a nice campground. Great showers, pool, laundry, and clean. Didn't like the fact there were no picnic tables and our site barely fit our 24 foot TT. Maintenance Department resolved quickly a couple of issues we had with electric.
Steven Smith
Again arrived late but security checked us in and showed us our site. Barely fit my 27 ft forester and tow dolly. Kind of expensive too. You’d think being part of Sam Town Casino we would have lower prices. But actually a nice park
R L
Good stop for RV
Quiet place clean restrooms and showers
Heated pools
Wanda Says
Holy Snaps! This KOA is awesome! Service was great, they got me a nice shaded site for a very reasonable price. $36. Pool, jacuzzi, clean and ample showers/restrooms. Easy walking to Sam's Town casino. So many restaurants there. Friday's currently has steak and lobster for $18! Hey now!
The Wanderer's
We loved this location! We came to Vegas and decided to stop at this KOA- so so so glad we did. We spoke directly with the Store Manager- I forgot her name (I am sorry!!) she did everything to help our stay be wonderful! Everything was clearly labeled and nicely laid out. Map was easy to read! we extended our stay and we are glad we did!!! If you’re in Vegas- I recommend staying here! It’s not right in the strip, but it’s close enough. Traffic at night isn’t bad either. Can’t wait to come back!

Needed a place to plug our motor home in for few nights because generators are not allowed overnight at campgrounds. The people in office are so friendly. We also received texts welcoming us & making sure we were happy
D Hillman
Friendly staff and very well kept campground. Ok place to stop over night or to see the sights. It is however "KOA CLOSE" my oning went into the neighbors site and in order to clear the posts around the utilities my steps were against the planter on the other side. I rented a 40ft site and don't know if it is actually 40ft. My poor neighbor side swiped a pole trying to maneuver into his site. It was pricey at $66.09 a night full hookups 30/50 amp. Don't know if we would stay again?
Nepthys Justo
We stayed here for 5 nights from Dec. 26th - Jan 2st. Our site was pea gravel right against the wall. It was decent. We didn’t have a neighbor the whole stay so it was roomy. The pool and hot tub were great. The restrooms/showers were clean. The showers had great water pressure and temperature. It was a short walk down the block and across Flamingo to get to Samstown for dinner or to catch the shuttle. We paid about $65 a night.
My only complaint is the shuttle times aren’t listed online and weren’t given to me when I checked it. When I called to inquire they said I could come get a list from the office which was closed by the time I got back from exploring. They didn’t seem to want to tell me over the phone. I would suggest they post the times online or on their door for easy access after hours.

Very nice, large park. Friendly staff. Would stay again.
anthony martinez
Nice place very convenient walmart across the street and the casino is right there. Bathrooms are older but clean laundry room is great the only thing is the pool area is very dirty and unmaintained and it is not monitored so it's not a relaxing pool experience it gets wild.
Lance Pierce
We were here in late September. Stayed a couple of nights and would have happily stayed more if we didn't have to be back in North Dakota. Very late check-in and still had a live person to get us all set up. Use the shuttle, walk, or drive your toad to the free parking around the corner on the north-east side of the hotel. Very quiet here for being in the city. Very easy to get around Vegas from here, if you study road maps and pick your way. We spent most of our time doing things around Vegas itself so we didn't partake in any activities in the park. We did have several meals at the Hotel and they were their usual great quality. Personally, I love the breakfast buffet and we went to Robertos Taco Shop. Yep, great food options.

Staying here to escape Colorado winter. It has been great. A wonderful hot sparkling clean year round spa. We had many packages delivered here at Christmas & no problems whatsoever. They did such a better job than our apartments at home. Friendly folks & things like emails warning of winds coming so we won't lose our awning while gone. Just great customer service.
ADK_702
Very clean and well maintained park, staff was super friendly. We had a blast staying here. Only down side is no play area for the kids and the sites are a little narrow. Pool, jacuzzi and showers are outstanding plus the office is open to 9pm. Walmart being across the street as well as being walking distance to Sam's Town is awesome. Lots of grass 2 huge dog runs that are covered. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you KOA Sam's Town for being so accommodating on short notice.
Lynn Stewart
Pulled in to this KOA after getting run off the road. Damaged truck and 5th wheel. Wife coming down with the flu. Chris Spencer literally made room for us asthey were full. They took ex Ellenton care of us for 8 days as we had to wait for parts and get wife to feeling better. If I could I would give 10 stars. Thank you Chris and Koa.
Ortal Glazer
Great staff, especially Cherry, we had an issue that needed to be taken care of, even after we left. she helped us a lot of her own good will, although she really didn't have to. highly appreciated !
Kenny
One of the only campgrounds that allowed pitbulls. We stayed for a month and had a great experience. Priced average compared to the other campgrounds close by. It's not in the best part of town but we did feel safe there, fully fenced and one entrance/exit that usually is guarded. Stayed at the southern location. We will be back in the future.
Frank Henderson
Went for one night stayed nine. Very clean site with extreamly helpful staff. Sam's town has everthing but you have the free shuttle to get around. This site is in an urban setting, they do a good job at keeping the campground separate. There are reviews that complain about staff and the grounds. I can only tell you the employees are friendly and ground kept clean. I will be back for other stays. This is a great place to stay.
Terri Fisher
We stayed here for 5 nights. We had a nice pull-thru with full hook ups. We did not use the pool or public restrooms but they looked nice. The staff here is friendly. It is about a 20 minute drive to The Strip. The Wal-Matt and grocery store across the street is convenient. Not many trees here and Vegas can be very hot in June! We enjoyed doing non-gambling things in the area. We especially enjoyed Red Rock Canyon which is about a 30 minute drive. We would stay here again if we were passing through.
Rob Hameluck
We were in the Nellis KOA. was this the best RV park/campground I have been in, not even close. However, the purpose for my stay was to enjoy the strip. Our daughter and her boyfriend came with us from Arizona. We are Canadian snowbirds heading back north. We needed a hotel close to an RV park. This was a perfect fit. Not knowing the property, we needed to drop her off at the hotel to check in but needed to wait as here luggage was in our trailer. Only spot we could find to park was the valet parking which was empty. Security dude rode up on hid bike and I thought I was in for a lecture but his only concern was the clearance for me to get under the front entrance overhang. He said he would stay with us until our daughter checked in and then he would guide us to our RV park. Very friendly guy and knowledgeable about local history. Very positive start to our stay. Got into our site. We only slept and had breakfast there so no big deal. No security issues. The shuttle to the strip was great. The young man on the evening shift driving the shuttle was an absolute pleasure to ride with. The Sam's Town hotel and casino was very clean and a quiet change from the strip. Would recommend this and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here not to long ago. What a fantastic KOA. Friendly staff usually there around the clock. Any question you got they have the answer. Most of the people staying there are ultra friendly.
Walmart and a whole host of stores are almost within walking distance. The excitement of Las Vegas is right there as well.
If your a Military Veteran Nellis AFB is right down the way. What I also like as well is there are a boat load of RV service places right down the street. If you need your rig worked on, washed etc it is all right there. Great set up!
Going back in August. Very excited!
Joan Miles
Have stayed at this KOA many times and have never been disappointed! The location is great, the staff is both friendly and accommodating, and the grounds are always well maintained. This trip our 7 day stay turned into a 21 day visit because we just didn’t want to leave. Already planning our next trip back. L.O.V.E. This KOA!
William Wilkinson
This place is really nice, most of the staff is super friendly. The bathroms are clean with handicap friendly restrooms and showers. nice pool & jacuzzi. And also lundry costs $3.00 per load..( if you have your own soap) you'll really like this place definitely worth the trip
Michael Boyle
We enjoyed our stay, felt safe enough, and within close proximity to lots of services, not to mention the casino. Which was pretty nice as well.
Friendly staff, clean facilities, including the pool.
Have to consider this RV park is in the middle of a major city. Kind of an oasis surrounded by cement.
Mr fix it
This was actually a very welcome good time! The rv park was clean and friendly except for the fact we got a spot next to the animal park and our dog wouldn't settle. The casino is a short walk away and we actually won some much needed funds. The buffet smelled and looked good but the line was out the door and we decided to eat in the food court. The food was good there and they had good cuisine choices. Enjoyed our visit!#!😀
Larry Pich
Good place to stay when passing through. Not just a huge blacktop like other places, which is nice. Dog area was a bonus as well.
Ryan Chavez
To date probably one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable KOA’s we’ve ever stayed at. As full time rvers, it was so awesome to be able to ask questions, and the staff had the answers. Planned on staying two days, stayed for a week. Walmart is a short walk, which made it so convenient for any shopping needed.
Chris Schreiner
Nice stop off point and location. Nice accomodations. Nice staff. The only comment I wish they would limit the number of pets per rig. During this last stay several rigs had 3 and 4 dogs some barking all night. The owners letting them urinate just anywhere a real turn off.
Debra Swann
Great KOA! It has a nice pool, bathrooms, and laundry. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The campground is located across from a Walmart and there are RV parts within walking distance. The casino is convenient and a shuttle is provided I you want to visit the strip or Fremont.
Christina Fluty
Full amenities right next to casino! Quiet and restful. Well priced and food at casino was good. Not too far from main strip...but not very close either. Walked around area and was safe (unfortunately all tattoo parlors were closed and artists MIA)
Maria Ramirez
The place is nice and clean. Great security.
Manfred Wieser
Very nice and clean campground attached to a Casino. You are lucky when you get a site with some tree shade - there aren't too many. Sewer system seems to be improved. Pool and SPA OK, but too small when the campground is full. Staff is friendly and responsive when you have a Problem. Free Shuttle Service to Strip and Downtown. This is our spot when we visit Las Vegas. Where Herr in a motorhome end of July 2019
Judith Kirkness
Not much grass but well run park. We were in town for a convention and for those four days we stayed in town at the convention hotel. We stayed at Sam's Town KOA before and after the conference. The restrooms are very clean and laundry facilities are good. There are no picnic tables and most spots have little if any grass as it is more of a converted parking lot. They have good presence of staff around and they were very accommodating to allowing us to pay $10/night for storing the trailer while we weren't staying in it. I felt very safe walking around at night alone.
Kevin Leung
Great spot. Clean and convenient to all things. Casino next door is good too.lots of spots that fit a toyhauler. Across from Walmart so you can stock up on supplies. And many casinos near by. The grounds are always kept clean. Stay here once a year usually.
Lynne Prosser
We arrived after dark and discovered our transmission went out right in front of the office just as we pulled in. The manager was so helpful - he used his own truck to park our 5th wheel as our truck could no longer pull it. He was so helpful and friendly - made us feel better in such a stressful situation. He had a staff member print out a list of repair shops nearby and offered to help in anyway they could. We had reserved for 6 days and wound up staying 14 while we waited for repairs. They blocked time for us so we could stay in the same space and were so accommodating. They made sure we got all the discounts we were eligible to receive each time we extended. The park is located right across from a Walmart Supercenter so we could walk to get groceries etc. There are several casinos and restaurants within walking distance and they have a shuttle to the strip as well as downtown. Great for the dogs and good amenities all around. I would highly recommend and we will stay again. Thanks so much to Chris and his staff.
claire paulic-garnier
Great RV park! Great swimming pool with Jacuzzi if the weather is not too hot! Service was perfect, if you need anything they've got you! Toilets and Showers are clean! + Free shuttle to the Strip or Downtown!
Ralph Cowan III
Really enjoyed this park. Spacious sites, clean facilities and friendly staff. One gentleman in particular went way above and beyond to help me out and his name was Beau (?). Can't thank him enough. I highly recommend this RV park if in Vegas.
Carla Ackermans
Good site, we stayed for 2 NIGHTS. It felt safe, plenty of staff around to help. Sights are a little close together but it's what youd expect at a city location. Clean facilities and free shuttle bus to the strip and downtown. We did need to get a cab home from downtown after we missed the last bus but it only cost $11
David Stamat
A little pricey compared to others in the same vicinity but well-kept. We did not use the amenities but they appeared to be well kept as well. I would recommend this RV Park as a last resort when others on Boulder Highway are not available but only because of the cost. It was by the way 10 to $15 a night higher than the competition. a little pricey compared to others in the same vicinity but well kept. we did not use the amenities but they appeared to be well kept as well.
Tara Ward
Very tight, seems to be built in a parking lot, but all of the RV parks are over here. Barely any grass.
Marilyn Grantham
They have a great dog run, clean park, excellent bathrooms and showers. Nice size spaces. We have shown up there several times without reservations and have accomodated us. They also give a 15% discount for military. Sam's Town Casino Resort is next door and they have restaurants and a buffet within walking distance.
Bobbie Woodruff
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Campgrounds was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms and showers were decent. Only problem was the backside of the bathrooms bu the office could see into the men and women's showers if the windows for ventilation were open. We closed the windows all was gr ewwat.
Cindy Peterson
What we liked.. Easy access and good price, next to Sam's Town casino. Only used basic connections, but they facilities looked clean and well maintained. Walking distance to several good chain restaurants in the casino. Given this was Vegas, it was reasonable quiet (ignoring sirens) The parking slots were wide so you could pull a car next to your vehicle if needed.
Daniel Larson
Nice staff. Noise is a problem due to major street nearby, but dose make for easy access.
John van Os
We have been on this KOA from 26 September 2018 until 29 September 2018. The location is a bit further away from the Strip, but we liked it very much. Sam's Town hotel with a large casino with food courts is a 10-minute walk away. The large Walmart is also within walking distance. The facilities were fine and the staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay and the excellent help.
Andrea Wetmore
If I could give 10 stars I would! This place is great. Been here on 2 different occasions. It has all the amenities you want. Showers/bathrooms exceptionally clean. Laundry great. Had our RV washed on each visit, which was fantastic. Easy to get to the Vegas Strip. Plus there is Sam's Town Casino within a minute walk. Great customer service. Excellent stay, great price.
CJ
Our stay was ok. Staff was very friendly. But, the park is jam packed with trailers and there is almost no places to let your dog relieve itself except for the one small dog park in the back corner. Very clean park and it was a nice stay, but a little packed and tough with animals.
Peggy Shadel
Clean, friendly and convenient. Stayed there for a couple of days while we prepared to do a cross country trip. Had everything we needed. Clean sites, clean laundry and nice pool area. Big Walmart directly across the street. Only possible downside for some might be lack of grass on RV sites. Didn't bother us. Highly recommend and would stay there again.
Stacy Rohrer
The staff is friendly and very helpful! Clean and well maintained areas. We will stay again.
Keith Groben
Nice, clean RV resort with friendly and helpful staff. Spaces are huge and the property is kept and very nice. I'll add, that this is most likely the best RV resort in the city. We tried one down the road and promptly asked for a refund. The only major problem is the showers are super cold. I had the water fully on hot and it became lukewarm. I suppose the only saving grace is that it's hot outside and I warmed up afterwards.
Kim Gosnell
I will be coming back to stay here very clean and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and attentive answered ever question. This KOA is close enough to Vegas strip to drive and far enough away from the crowd to enjoy your stay.
Shawna Wilke
Seems like a nice place, but the spot they placed us in was really too small for our 5th wheel. We found the street noise overpowering all night.
We would not stay there again
Caren Teg
We camped November 6 & 7, we were here for the Rolling Stones Concert. The KOA was clean, we felt safe, the staff was very nice.
James Reilly
This is a nice, clean KOA. RV sites are a good size with plenty of room for slides, etc. Easy 15 minute drive to the Vegas Strip or walk over to Sam's Casino. Walmart is right across the street for convenient re-stocking all the essentials.
Irwin Harris
The staff here are amazing. Myself and my puppy Beauti had a great time here. 2 month ago we was here. We have plan on moving back here to Las Vegas. Our stay here was awesome. Clean rest room and showers. Love these guys here.
Happy Slappy
Better than the other KOA sites we have been too. Staff are very polite. Apparently I'd made a mistake whilst booking and booked a 70' pull through. I hadn't but they sorted it out anyway. Not slot of kids around so pool is actually usable. Shower facilities are fantastic. Awesome free shuttle to Vegas Blvd. Right next to a casino if you don't want to travel at all. And NO NOISE! Something i was worried about coming to Vegas.
Sites are spacious but very close together so very little privacy. Same as all other KOA sites -.-
Ralph Escojido
Very friendly hosts and shuttle drivers. Nice 70 ft pull through sites. No need to un hook. Of course, having a Casino right there is a huge plus
TracyCarey M.
Stayed 1 night in Boulder. Staff was very friendly. Easy parking with plenty of room for the slideouts. Bathrooms are clean. Swimming pool was not very busy. No issues with the cable and wifi worked great. Would have gave it 5 stars, but the hot tub was out of service due to the heater is broken.
Lucas Hibbard
We stayed here during the summer of 2019. Everything was well kept and as we needed it to be. Nice level spots. The pool was nice. Office staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Dennis De Jong
It's was a pleasant stay, with friendly staff. Located at the egde of Las Vegas, next to Sam's Town Casino. We used everyday the free shuttle to the Strip. We enjoyed the city much. The campground has full hookups and almost everywhere level spots and paved. Restrooms are clean and good.
Lillian W
Disappointing...we stayed on Nellis side...planned two nights, left after only one...garbage overflowed in dumpsters. Dog parks were unkept and had horrible odor, due to lack of sand materiel to cover pets urine spots. Children were unsupervised and pets were left tied up outside. Only saw one gentleman patrolling the entire park area...gives pause when razor wire surrounds entire park...expect more from a KOA.
Teresa Cranford
We arrived without reservations and were booked in immediately. Yes, it's a blacktop parking lot with a couple of decorative rocky areas. We stayed in the cheapest area but some areas have grass and the closer you are to the casino entrance the more expensive the spots are. We travel with 3 dogs, this KOA has a dog park with agility equipment and several nice dog runs in the back. We didn't need to use the restrooms so I can't comment on the showers or the restrooms. We enjoyed our stay. It is a little noisy with the road right behind it but it wasn't bad. They also have a pool and jacuzzi but we didn't use those either. Easy to get into and out of, many rv spots, all hookups. The staff was extremely friendly. I gave it 4 stars because I would prefer more trees.
Jason Bethune
Nice campground and well maintained at good rates. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is because the spots are little cramped, but not bad. I've been in a lot tighter spaces. Also, if a space with shade is open, try and get it. Very hot in the open. Wouldn't hurt if they planted a few more trees in areas that they could.
Kristie Lavornia
I had a nice time I really enjoyed the hotel and the water falls the breakfast buffet wasn't bad the dinner buffet was gross. The rooms are clean, I do wish they had some kind of full laundry service or laundry room so you can wash your clothes before you leave that will be nice.
Other wise we had a great time will be back.
David Chasteen
Other than the fact that it was 115 when we got there, this was a good experience. Campground is large but so are the spaces. Bathrooms were clean and, although I didn't indulge, the pool looked nice. Located right next to the casino with all the restaurants and gaming was nice. Handy to shopping, gas, etc. Would definitely return but NOT in the summer!
Becky Sieferman
Stayed here for years and years but on New Year’s Eve, other patrons of the campgrounds were setting off loud fireworks all around the area including inside the campgrounds. I truly expected some extra noise that night but this was ridiculously close to some of the other campers including right behind ours. Is there no security guard at least checking occasionally? This will not change my opinion of the campgrounds. Will still stay here every time we come through. Just suggesting a little security guard.
Jason Gray
This is our second stay at the Sams Town KOA, and plan on returning again on our reverse leg of our trip, which is as much an endorsement as we ever give. It is a very good value for being so conveniently located between The Strip and the more nature / recreation oriented stuff like Lake Mead, the Dam and Valley of Fire.
Quick hits:
- Spacing: As long as you get one of the mid to higher rate spots (at these prices you might as well), the spacing is good for urban parks. (WAAAAY more space than others!) Set your expectations. This ain't the wilderness.
- WiFi: Good for campground service. Decent upload speed for your vacation pics, but not quite good enough for Zoom for work / school. Slows in the evening.
- Hookups: Good water pressure, reasonably clean tasting after filter. No electrical problems noted. No sewer smell noted.
- Park cleanliness: Inside the park was spotless. Never saw a flying piece of trash. We never went in the bathrooms or used the laundry this trip.
- Noise: The campers were quiet. But... It's an urban park. In outskirt Vegas. The siren, hot rod street racing, etc noise was VERY noticeable.
- Convenience: It's a bit of a drive to get to the Strip, about 15 mins. Coming from SoCal, you have to loop east and around Vegas on the freeways which are... Sporty?... In high volume periods. But you're conveniently located to hit the freeway and head east towards Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, etc.
- Surrounding area: It's an urban park. But RV park and casino security does a decent job. The Sams Town casino nearby is pretty nice for a very-off-strip resort.
- COVID: Pretty good mask use and distancing all around between the RV park and the hotel/casino.
Bongo Boy
Great RV park away from the craziness of the main strip .We're not gamblers but enjoy the many food choices at this casino and the shows and the hot tub before calling it a day .Sites are priced ok and the washrooms and showers are well cared for .Grocery shopping is nearby .
jordan leonard
This is one of the best KOAs I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is awesome, Katrina at the front desk and the manager Chris were both especially kind and accommodating while we dealt with some unexpected car troubles. The facilities are great and the price is right. Will be back!
Kim Rivera
Many spots were very desert like, but we choose a dog spot which put us in a corner with grass. Our dog didn't like the caged area, but we loved the extra room.
Andrea Dixon
Close but alternating made the "parking lot" less offensive. Accommodating staff were responsive to our needs. Pool, spa and restrooms were clean and well kept, laundry was inexpensive and VERY EFFICIENT. The gratis shuttle to and from the strip saved us money, parking hassles and added to the "VEGAS" experience
melony baker
Nice place to park for the night. The staff is Great too!
Timmy Key
(Update Below)Have not stayed there yet. Have reservation booked. I called and talked to Katrina and she was very nice, very helpful, and was even able to apply a discount that the website did apply when I booked the reservation. I will be adding to my review once we stay there. UPDATE. We stayed there over the weekend. It was a nice spot with really nice people. Only things that could have made the stay better was if there was more trees that shaded the trailers as well as a stronger internet signal. Dropping from a 5 Star to a 4 star (4.5 if they gave the option.)
Nichelle Inman
Friendly staff. Easy check in. I would have given it a 4 star rating but we were on the other side across the street from the casino and that side was a little more run down. Older rigs there that were obviously full time tenants. Not kept up. There was a huge curb to maneuver the rig over to park and so alot of things got thrown around inside or rig. Overall good stay. They have a shuttle at casino that you can use for free to take you into downtown and drops you at Harrah's and Fremont. They was really nice and then we didn't have to drive in the Vegas crazy traffic .
Stephanie Polk
Just basically a gravel parking lot with bathrooms. My shower did not have good water pressure, but bathrooms were clean. Loved the location though. Sams town is amazing. Went to the movies twice. Used our ticket stub to get a free game of bowling. Ate there. Used the free shuttle to go downtown and to the strip.
Jill K
Spaces were very tight, but the pool and bathrooms were nice and clean.
Michael Lee
Very unorganized in the front office. Swapped out reservations with someone else’s. Had to wait 30 minutes for them to sort it out. Woke up and did laundry to find no coin machines in laundry room. Washer did not work and had to be repaired. While waiting for their machine to finish clothes a very rude gentlemen knocked on our door and basically told me to leave at 11:15. I told him no on one told me in the front at check in when to check out. He said that it is my fault for not knowing and it is industry standard. Guess I am supposed to just magically know everything about their place 2500 miles from home. Nice park. - 5 stars. Staff could use a lesson in respect towards their customers. - 1 star.
B
Hot and windy here in June but you cannot blame KOA for the 110 degrees!
The staff was very friendly. Everything was clean (as well as can be expected in the desert blowing dust.
You can go to Sams Town and get food 24/7 with out having to leave the property.
If you park in the back near the restrooms, the light at night is a bit too bright.
Vince Leedy
Very clean. Spacious spaces. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great food in casino.
Stayed here several times. Recommend.
TerMar Pilz
I was unsure upon entering the park as the clientele out and around the park is questionable. However, the park was clean and the restroom were very clean. Although. There are only 3 showers in the women’s room. So it can get crowded. The park is right on the street and it gets loud and the planes do fly over head, but we were tired and slept well.
Gary Randall
a fair price to playwithpay four sites with hookups. Also provide a free shuttle into downtown Las Vegas which is really appreciated. The local bus is affordable if you need to come back later than the shuttle. All facilities are in perfect repair. I highly recommend this KOA.
Xiaobo Sun
It's more like a parking lot. Space is not big enough and no picnic table in the site. There are not many trees and shade. Other than that, everything is fine. Has all amenities we needed. The place is overall clean and beautiful.
One bummer is there is no light in the BBQ area. We arrived there after sunset and had to use my phone as flashlight when doing the BBQ.
Also, there is no coin exchange machine in the laundry room or anywhere else.
Penny Kitchener
Ppl. We arrived for a couple of days. We loved it so much we are spending the rest of our holidays in USA in this beautiful country. I'd like to say, thank you to Katrina. You are the most thoughtful, efficient, intelligent and lovely person we have encountered on our 2 month travels. The park is clean, heaps of shade and friendly staff. Highly recommend this RV Park as it is across the road from Wal-Mart and the Sam's Town Casino.
R. Yoder
Great location on Boulder Strip. The staff is very accommodating. It would nice if Sam’s Town would bring back the bus shuttle to Fremont Street and The Strip.
Bradlee Clark
Cleanest restrooms and showers I've ever seen at a KOA. As it is an urban campground, there's not much for aesthetics in the sites. More designed as a place to park your bed as you explore the city. Good dog areas. Nighttime security patrol, as well.
Donna Isaacson
Lovely park, great hosts, and fantastic entertainment! Great place for a family.
Keith AURICH
Little pricey, but we'll kept RV park.
Jean Hanchett
Park was clean. The employees were ultra nice. 1st night was on a Saturday night. Lots of traffic noise outside the park. Rebooked a 2nd night on a Thursday. Traffic noise was not that noticeable. We will diffinetly stay there again. We have recommended to family and friends.
Katie Miles
Nice clean park. The pool was warm even in November. Staff was friendly and even moved us to a new site because we couldn't fit into the one they had for us.
Tyler N
They allowed me to stay there in my RVIA certified custom RV that looks like a tiny home. Any RV park that is tiny home friendly is great in my opinion! They have a good location just far away enough from the madness of the strip. Easy in and easy out. Clean rv park and very friendly staff! I got propane there which worked out really easily as well.
Billy Elser
Staff was very pleasant and the showers and bathrooms were very clean.
J Ward
I would have given it a 4 star but our bike was cut off the Yakima secure bike rack on our trailer. "They cut through the cable and a portion of the rack". We specifically chose this facility due to some of the other crime issues being reported elsewhere. The laundry facilities and bathrooms were clean and good customer service. Not a secure place even if your things are locked up. We were even in the trailer sleeping.
Rita Frazier
Mixed Bag
Stayed here for a week 11/14/19 through 11/22/19, in the North/Nellis lot, in a patio pull thru space for our 42’ 5th wheel. The reviews are why we chose to stay here, but after being here I can’t understand why they are so positive.
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. There was only one phone exchange that wasn’t friendly or very nice, otherwise everyone we encountered made our stay more pleasant. The pool was open and heated, the hot tub nice and hot. Due to the time of year, I had both to myself entirely. Very cool! Multiple off leash dog enclosures. Sam’s Town within walking distance - not a five star casino, but decent and clean. Easy access in and out of the park, just 2 miles from the freeway.
Cons: Lots of old, run down campers. A lot of accumulated stuff around some of them, indicating long term residencies - much of the stuff could even be called junk. They also seem to be storing RV’s and more. A couple of days into our stay a horse trailer parked in the spot next to ours, and nobody is staying in it (seems to have a small bunk area); the sites are directly on top of each other, so this trailer was not a nice thing to be parked next to. There was a “resident” a couple of spaces away who cursed and threatened to kill our F*n dog, who wasn’t even barking. He ranted at us at least 10 minutes. Staff in the office was sympathetic. The employee who visited the ranter seemed to be familiar and unconcerned about him - and he never came back to reassure us that the mad man will leave us alone. His ranting continued with another camper the next day, but I guess since he lives there...well, I can’t actually figure out why they’d let him stay. I worried about him the whole time we were there. The area outside the campground has a lot of people around, many who seem to be down on their luck. Some of who actually come into the campground and have to be chased off. The last night we were there someone tried to open our door. Not the safest neighborhood, but the staff tries to keep the grounds safe. I’m confused why they don’t have the whole property gated and fenced - much of it is, but anyone can easily walk in and around from the front. Not a fan of the gravel sites. Overall, not likely to return here.
Benjamin Rayburn
Very nice people and helpful.easy to get a spot and there fast

Great staff, great bathrooms. The shuttle that takes you either to Harrah's or Downtown is very comfortable and punctual.
The bus stop for the shuttle is behind the casino, it was a little hard to find by ourselves.
All in all, it was a great stay.
Bill True
Very clean bathrooms & showers. Free shuttle to the strip. Safe & secure park. Great staff with one exception: the owners daughter is a miserable person who likes to talk down to people. But I will not let one bad apple keep me from returning to this park.
Brett Perras (Iron Mavrik 24 #5615)
Did a drive thru checking how big/sm the lots are. Place looked cleaned taking care of they must appreciate their resident's & take pride in there work. Thanks I would have hot a spot they were full at the time.
Connie Clark
Great staff. Katrina thank you for finding me the best deal for my stay. The park is clean the rest rooms also. The park has a nice dog park and people are very considerate of taking turns with their animals and picking up after them.
Mark Christenson
Nice clean place. Spots a little small though. Could use a little better landscaping. Pretty generic for a koa
Ryan Cantrell
Typical Vegas RV spot - no grass, all pavement and gravel. Very clean, quite area and a decent Vegas-price. Staff were friendly at the check-in. KOA staff walking through the grounds at night, keeping an eye out. Pool was clean and laundromat was easy to use. My complaint is that there's no wifi - only while physically at the office and pool; as someone who needs to work during various times during our trip, this was a downfall.
Heather Perkins
Easy to get to, everyone was friendly. Pool was awesome, big lounge and game room. Close to everything. Definitely hot though. There was a small ant problem, but they were quick to come put a barrier around the camper. Would stay here again!
Dawn Napier
Very clean and pet friendly facility. Cheap price for full hook ups. Stayed 6 days had a great time and no problems. Didn't use the shower facilities or the pool. We used the laundry facilities and the washers and dryers worked excellently. SAMs Town is in very close walking distance and has several choices for eating. Daily there is a lazier light show with water and animatronics that is free and really cool at night
Stephen Castrogiovanni
This place has a friendly staff and they are very helpful. We were able to get propane on site and they also have a small store. Its a short walk to the casino through the covered parking lot. This is where the fun starts. They have great table games. Not just slots. We played craps and had a great time. Nothing like a hot craps table. Each session we won, cashed in and went for appetizers at tgif. This was exciting. After a few cocktails we managed to make it back to the rv.
They have a nice clean laundry room with plenty of good machines. I believe they have a pool, hot tub and spa. Check with staff for these amenities
The one think we do not like, and this is the same problem with most rv parks is that their is not enough room between
sites. Our neighbor had a motor home reversed. We stepped out front one day and his awning was hanging over our roof. This provided wonderful shade but it was not needed. Their was no room to the left or right.
The new idea our team came up with is this: instead of a host in a golf cart show you to your site, a guy on a fork lift picks you up and places you on a class A motor home. They will rough in an elevator or steps depending on the package
(premium package = cable + elevator). We are working on a lower hatch system so you could reach down into the motor home
below and grab a beer out of the fridge. Upon leaving we had to give valet a ticket to retrieve our rig.
Great time.
Update: Great news, our first stacking system will be ready for delivery at the end of April 2090. Lol
heidi
Good pool. Requested an area with shade (as it's the middle of a heat wave) and happily got a shaded spot. Employee came knocking on our door at check out time (11am) saying that we were going to have a late check-out. So far, we've been to about five or so KOAs and none of them had a check-out system so agressive. Other than that, the staff was friendly. They gave us our third night free. Was pleased with the stay.
Sjoerd de Wildt
Nice campground right next to hotel/casino Sam's Town, where you can do lots of fun things. Sanitary is OK.
From here it is a 30 minute ride with the free shuttle bus to the Strip and the Fremont Street Experience. Moreover, it is a convenient location if you rented your RV from Cruise America and have to hand it in at the end of your stay.
Price: $28
Equipment: RV (24 ft.)
Type of spot: Front-in W/E/S
Amenities: WiFi, Propane, Swimming pool
Jens
A very good and very clean RV Side in Las Vegas. Directly connected to the Sam Town's Casino which is also very nice with a great buffet. Free Shutle Service to the Strip and to Fremont Street. I loved my stay there😊👍 …
Dean Chaney
An Oasis and within walking distance to Sam's Town Casino
Michael Kemp
Great place to stay in Las Vegas with a RV. They have anywhere from 30 amp. back in sites to 70' long pull thru 50 amp sites. Nice pool & laundry area. Pet friendly with new & improved area for your dog.
Sam's Town Casino is just a short walk away.
Easy to find & to get in & out of even if you have a large RV. We have stayed here for years and will do so every time we stop over in Las Vegas with our RV
Kerry Neufeld
Great place! Very clean and lots of room to maneuver large campers & motorhomes.
Jacob Starr
Quick stop on our way across the country. Clean, easy to hookup. Very nice staff. Good perks at the casino next door. Cheap! But it is a glorified parking lot. No tables, no campfires, it's loud all night.
Dahkota
Better than expected. We had no problem getting into or out of our 70' pull through in the boulder hwy area. Sites were very close but the dog runs were great and the place was clean.
Janis Timlick
This is a great park! Clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Rates are good. We park in back and it's very quiet.
Cyndi Gruber
I stopped by to visit a friend who was traveling through town with her family. The rv park was decent, the pool was small but pretty clean. It was a bit windy so it had some understandable debris. We chatted with another family staying in the park and they really enjoyed it. My friend's family stays here every time they are in town. I don't own an rv so i don't know any details about that side of it. Only reviewing as a guest.
JD Harris
Good park, not enough shade. Also, shuttle service is off during covid, so plan to rent/uber or use tow vehicle to get around. Very friendly staff and nice general store, especially when across street from Wal-Mart.
Stephann Ibrahim
After having stayed at the thousand trails down the street on boulder hwy this KOA is a major upgrade. There are locks in the bathrooms and it feels much safer. It is also right across the street from Walmart which is very convenient if you're traveling or on vacation and need some last minute items. This place is more expensive than thousands trails but totally worth it.
Roxanne Morrill
Level concrete slabs and FHU ,great for AC since it was 108!
Too hot to check out the pool which had no shade and too small for that park that size.
Sandy Sergent
The pool and showers are very nice and like everything else are kept very clean. No picnic tables and little shade but I do recommend the place.
Lennart Benoot
Great RV camping site at reasonable distance to Vegas downtown and strip. There a free bus from and to Vegas city every few hours. Nice and helpful staff. During hot summer days the pool is definitely a pro! For those who look for a casino and entertainment nearby, visit Sam's right nextdoor.
Rick Shook
The location is great; being able to walk to Sam's Town was very convenient. The staff was efficient and courteous. HOWEVER, the sites are very small and completely lacking in amenities. There are no tables, barbecues, firepits, etc. at any site.
Gary “GMFK” Kurtzhals
Great campground that is easily accessible and conveniently located by Sam's Town Casino. Spots are a little close to each other, pool area is great, Wifi worked great, laundry area was very clean. Walmart is across the street for any needs as well. Will definitely stay here again.
Tamara Douglass
Very nice place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. They are constantly cleaning up the place. Very nice facilities.
roxanne morrill
Mostly friendly staff, clean bathrooms but need a code to enter. Mostly concrete slabs, vy few trees, no table provided, but good hookups and dump per site.
We had back in spot for about $30 & against back wall, which ended the better spot -AWAY from Boulder street, less road traffic noise.
Lila Mufti
Checked in for one night and place was clean and quiet. Laundry area requires quarters would be nice to have a coin dispenser there since it’s open 24/7.
Karen Wells
Very nice and clean campground. RV spots easy to maneuver in to. Excellent bathroom facilities. Good location. Walking distance to Sam's Casino, Walmart shopping center nearby. Would definitely stay here again.
Ramon Navarro
Great place to stay, we love it it's close to Sam's Town casino. We recommend this rv campground to everyone. My family and I enjoy staying here every time we come to Las Vegas, Nevada. Not only it's beautiful ,yet it's affortable.
Jay Branson
Really nice, neat and clean...just make sure you can hook up probably. The sites have a single hook up for each two sets of sites. I had to move because one of my hoses was too short no matter how I situated the RV. Really nice pool and bathhouse.
Joshua Cantu
One of my favorite KOAs located in between fun casinos. Just a cheap trip Uber away from freemont and the strip!!!!
Ismael Luna
Awesome staff great place to stay. I enjoy my stay one of the best koa I've stayed at. It only keeps getting better i had to cancel a reservation today on another vist because my son had hurt himself and I'm impressed with the quality of service I will definitely stay here again
Chris Gonzalez
We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. It was clean, quiet and the check in was easy. The bathroom and shower facilities we nice to have and also very clean. I'd stay here again when I visit the area.
Tamara
Sams Town KOA is great. The staff is friendly and informative. The wifi is not great, and don't bother paying for the upgrade because it's no better... but is good inside the main building or sites close to it. Our first lot was a bit too close to the dump station and they moved us to a spot that worked for us. We discovered that most RV parks in the area seem to have lower weekly rates but they have hidden charges charging for electrical, water and sewer. This KOA offers inclusive weekly rates. Also the casino has a lot of character and good amenities.
Joe Eafrati
Will definitely go there again. Priced right, clean facilities, walking distance to Sam's Town Casino. Only six mile to the Las Vegas strip. Pet friendly. Easy pull in sites for all sizes.
Keys Diver
Very nice facility with excellent staff. Sites are flat and well groomed.
Scott Statson
Pulled into the campground in the middle of the night thinking it was just for overnight. Found Sam's Town to be a great place, not a lot of trees to shade from the heat but the location is good. Walked to the casino and had fun. There is a movie theater in the casino and lots to do. Walmart across the street. We extended our stay for several days and looking forward to stopping back in again.
Jürg Daniel
Heated Pool - great. Unfortunately there were no darts an the billard cues were defect.
Christie McMillan
Clean, friendly campground. This was our second stay at this RV park. It seems to stay pretty busy. We were just passing through Vegas and didn't plan on staying overnight this time. Fortunately, I called to see if they had spots available, they had ONE spot left and it was a big enough pull-thru site.
I recommend a reservation.
Flavio Bentancour
Excellent RV Park, you can get all the services. Also, Sharon it's the best person i meet in Vegas.
Pam Lopez
Staff very friendly, quite easy check-in. Great amenities and close to Vegas strip, will be nice when shuttle gets running again.
Rosanna
My husband and I stayed there for a week. We had a plane to meet a couple of friends in Las Vegas. I was a little disappointed because the"park" is a real parking. It's no a campground. If you just go to gambling, this is the place to be. It's all.
Andres Hark
Great place! We were impressed. Terrific staff, campground was well maintained. Staff found us a spot with shade, very important 'cause it was 104 F.
Justin McClintock
Good and clean rv park in Las Vegas. Lots of rv sites so they are packed in pretty tight but easy to get in and out. Not much grass or yard space but they do have a pet area. Pool and hot tub were very clean as well as the restrooms.
Twisten McDade
Actually very happy here.
A nice friendly crowd.
The pool & hot tub are open till 10pm , the restrooms are clean and comfortable.wi-fi , full cable,
Pet friendly and easy of access to the casinos.
I will be back.
Isis van Noort
Such a friendly staff at this KOA, good prices and a Walmart really nearby. The kampground is really Clean, so is the pool!
Also if you feel like gambling (Come on, it's Vegas ;)), it's just a 5 minute Walk away! There are also a lot of Nice dining places over there which you can Access with the whole Family.
Stephanie Dion
Good location! Clean bathrooms. Perfect for a campervan. They accommodate for late check in too.
Kodi Hamill
Pretty good KOA and excellent prices. The staff were nice and the campground is pretty clean. My only complaint would be that the pool area is a little weathered looking. But overall great experience.
Alyssa Ochs
*Updated 11/6/17. Stayed here again for 1 week and this time in a Class A. Previous stay was January 2017. The campground has definitely improved over the year! Didn't see any homeless/sketchy people wandering around the sites or in the KOA or in the pool area office this week. Felt much safer. Wi-Fi is still abysmal at the campsites. There is a paid option for faster internet though now. Very crowded campground but fortunately not too loud. Easy to receive packages here that you order on Amazon and staff is cool with it. Increasing my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars now based on these improvements.
Stayed here for 2.5 weeks with my husband and dog in a pop-up camper.
Pros:
-Free shuttle from Sam's Town next door to downtown and the strip
-Very cheap rate
-Clean bathrooms
-Hot tub
Cons:
-Bad first impression with homeless people lurking around the entrance
-Homeless people continued to be around throughout our stay actually inside the office, bathroom, and hot tub - staff doesn't seem to care
-Unpredictable bathroom cleaning schedule - please post specific hours each bathroom will be cleaned so guests can plan around that
-No Wi-Fi at sties
-No picnic benches
-Parking lot style campground with no spacing between sites
Eric F
Kate was wonderful in checking us in!!!
Shower house was clean. The campground is literally a parking lot, but we expected that being in the middle of Las Vegas. Free shuttle to run to strip.
Rik Brouwer
OK, of coarse the purpose of this campground is to drop off your RV and walk to the strip, only to return to go to bed. Therefore the campground is no more than a big stretch of tarmac, with just a handful of bathrooms on the campground. I was lucky the first morning, but the second I had 4 people waiting in line to take a shower.. Oh and it's quite expensive as well, but that's not strange considering it's location.
Good advice: take the south entrance, not the east entrance. Else you have to drive around the whole campground to reach the reception.
Barbara Stallings
The sweet people (Joyce) here at KOA saved us by getting us an RV space after we were turned away at Oasis RV park here in Las Vegas after having reservations for over two weeks and upon arrival turned away because of our pit bull mix dog who is a wonderful
Dog and a gentle spirit. We had no idea what we were going to do and after calling several other places we called here and we were given a place immediately with no problem with our dog. It May not have the ambience of Oasis but the staff were very compassionate and friendly.
Gloria Mayfield
We were sort of recreating a visit to this facility that we had made in 1988. The heat in Las Vegas is still unbearable and the prices are much higher than 30 years. I was disappointed that our site (321) was a bit unlevel. For the prices here, it would seem that they could do an occasional leveling job at each site to prevent customers from having to add leveling blooks to level rigs. My other disappointment was the tall grass in the dog run area. My dogs are small and the grass was a bit too deep for them. One last complaint was the temperature in the restroom. I did not use the shower and I only used the toilet after we were hooked up and ready to go but it was almost as hot inside the restroom as it was outside - no A/C? Too hot to spend much time in RR. Shower would have been a waste of time because I think I would have been as sweaty after as I was before the shower.
Tom Distad
A nice enough RV Park, but if you are looking for peach and quiet, bring ear plugs. You are either near the street, or nestled among the big rigs that seem to be washed daily by Red Rock RV wash.. I wonder if they cannot afford quieter pressure washers...
Dave DeFruiter
Don't let them tell you the north section is just as nice as the main south section because it is not! A jammed tightly together gravel parking lot with few trees.
Kat Munro
We tried to do a few loads of laundry and unfortunately two of the washers were malfunctioning and did not do their final spin. We contacted the office and was greeted by a nasty front desk lady. She wanted the numbers of the machines, which we couldn't fine, couldn't do anything without them or so she said. Then add insult to injury she didn't even offer to reimburse us for the two loads. We travel a lot and give out suggestions for good, great, and bad RV parks. Needlessly to say this one will get a bad review specifically for bad manners.
If a person doesn't like their job then they need to quit......hint, hint.
1-2:30pm/8/27/2017
Frank Vedack
Kind of ok..... We didn't find a better RV park near Casino. It's kind of a sketchy walk to the casino. If you talk to the after hours people or security they will give you a ride to the casino. Tipping is not required but we always do. I will definitely stay there again unless I can find something better.
Robin de Kort
Best place to be when visiting Vegas with an RV, full hookups, pools and everything. the free shuttle bus to the strip and Fremont is what makes it even better. Be sure to check out Sam's town next door it's really pretty
Rayme Lacy
It was God awful hot, 110! We loved the Sams town KOA. Everything is clean, and well run. Having Sams town next store is great. The amenities are all you could ask for in a camping resort. The only thing I was not happy with was at about 11:40 am on checkout day we got a call from the front desk telling us they were going to charge us because we were to be checked out by 11am. We had left at 9:45 am. I was not very happy about being threatened. As I was already in AZ.
Wayne Wood
We stay at this RV park any time we go to Vegas ( several times a year) and always-always have a great time. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an acceptional place to stay. The hotel and casino are always clean with staff very pleasant and willing to help anytime.
Candyce Matlosz
The pool and showers were clean and the store was well organized; however, the camping sites feel more like storage units with hookups rather than placea to relax.
Irina Fendi
Great place! Very clean. Showers & bathrooms are literally SPOTLESS. 👏🏻. Friendly staff. Pool & hot tub were great. Definitely recommend and would come back! …
GEORGE Elzouki
Walter was very nice and helpful l will return and recommend it 👍 👌 👏 …
Steve Fleury
My wife and I stayed at Sam's Town Journey last night. The check-in process was easy, the sites are PERFECTLY flat, the rest rooms clean and the wifi works well. There are other amenities that we didn't use but my suspicion is they were top notch. There is even a movie theater next door and a Walmart (for those trailer-related needs) across the street. To be clear, this is not camping, it's the RV equivalent to a hotel, so if that's what you are looking for, look no further.
Summer Fiore
So awesome to have this KOA so close to our beloved sams town! Very safe and easy to navigate. Excellent WiFi at sites and easy walk to Sams. We appreciated the pool for our daughter and shower house with eternally running hot water and great water pressure. Sites were clean and easy to get into. They allow dogs. (Yay!) The free strip shuttle was a big bonus so we didn’t have to worry about driving and parking downtown. There are gas stations close by and grocery stores for resupplying. It’s easy to get to from the freeway. Couldn’t ask for more!
Benny King
Spots are very close together. All gravel. No escort to site. I didnt need it, but other may. I wont stay here again. Not your typical KOA. Pool was nice.
Jonathon Mirabal
Very close to downtown Las Vegas. Laundry room was acceptable for a campground. Great place just to park for the night and hit the road in the morning. Staff had an attitude here and there.
Robert Stanlaske
Three stars because it’s basically a parking spot, the 70’ spots are more like 50-60’ and about as wide as a Walmart parking space. Opens the door the stairs came out about 10” from the curb. That’s all the space you have, maybe 3’ from the side of your camper. There was a nice big tree on our site... it prevented the awning from being used. When we pulled in we had to adjust to get the slides between the neighbors rig and that tree. The place is very clean and it seems safer than almost every other campground around Vegas. Luckily all we did was use it as a parking spot, we stayed on the strip at the Encore, I would’ve been pretty mad if we had planed to stay at there and had that site.
This has nothing to do with the KOA, but you should know the Walmart across the street is not RV friendly, we checked out at 9:00am parked at Walmart for 2 hours, when we got back security was taking pictures of our motorhome and on the phone with a tow company.
Tracy Tantalizing Tracy Nelson
Well what can I say about the KOA other than it was fabulous and I had a good time. The staff are all very nice and helpful, the facilities are clean and well-maintained , and the location is close enough that everything's near. Thanks for having me KOA I enjoyed my stay and If I ever come back to Vegas Sam's town KOA is where I'll stay.
wang xiuqin
Very neat and clean. Love their pool perfect for the summer to cool you down. Laundry rooms are very clean too.
Al Schwartz
Overall very clean. Appreciated private showers, again very clean and spacious. Level gravel sites with cement roadway. Few shade trees. Free shuttle to and from Strip and Old Vegas offered from Sam's Town Casino on-site. Plenty of restaurants to walk to at Sam's Town for a week or less stay. Any longer, may want to explore restaurants off-site, but not within walking distance. Pool nice and refreshing. Small, with few lounge chairs. No problem this time of year, but can't imagine at high peak. Just learned how to play pickleball and would have given 5+ stars if they had a pickleball court!
KL C
Quiet location, despite being close to the freeway, lots of pinons with room between sites. Didn't care much for the layout, but it rained a lot and no mud! Gravel hard pack sites. Staff was very friendly.
Staphie Turner
Very quiet. We only stayed one night. We didn't use any of the facilities. Check in was quick and easy. Not a lot of trees for shade. No picnic table at the site.
Danielle Chapel
The park is ok. Not as many amenities as you expect from a KOA but they have a nice pool and Sam's Town Casino has a lot of things for kids to do. We spent time in the arcade and in Mystic Park. I'd go there again if I wanted to camp in Vegas.
Liz Mifflin
It's a Gamble......wifi or no ???
Check in staff were very friendly & helped us get a suitable space . Thanks to Michael from the maintenance dept.
You pay premium price for premium ? lot but dont expect quiet ( Vegas never sleeps and you probably won't either ) . Located at busy intersection sirens and straight pipes all night. That is actually uncontrollable by KOA, but the absence of WI-FI is. It was non exsistant, all 5 days , we complained and were told that they share with the other KOA lot beside the hotel. Sorry I don't buy that. This is Vegas & wi-fi service should be available 24-7 at STRONG signal strength.
RAY MARTINEZ
NICE PLACE COOL PEEPZ AND RT NEXT DOOR TO A CASINO!!$$
✌🏽🤑🍺 …
Kelly Albers
Spacious spots for all types of rigs. Friendly staff! Clean restrooms. Only drawback is the gravel that your rv sits on needs to be upgraded. It tracks into your rig and vehicles because it is so fine.
Jeff Hayes
Stayed from Jan 21 to Mar 5...prices are a bit higher than some of the other parks in the area, but that didn't bother us at all. Brooke, who works at the office, was awesome. An exceptional person, and a real asset to the Park. It is because of her that we were able to extend our stay at the park...this following a completely awful experience at the Las Vegas RV Resort (next door on Nellis Blvd.) Wifi is through a third-party (29.95/month,) and is not the greatest. Cable was fine, and the park was kept clean. No problems.
susan johnson
It would probably be a good place to stay IF you were near the front. We were near the road in the back and heard ambulances and trucks and motorcycles all night. But a Big plus was that we decided not to stay another night and they refunded all but 10.00. So thank you for that.
Larry Smith
The staff....especially the night security man....are extremely helpful and friendly. The park is well cared for....tremendously so! It's been years since I last stayed here and I made sure that I found it again on this trip because it is just the best feeling to be here.
Daniel Philippon
Nice and clean place, friendly staff. Only one négative : one toilet only in the men's restrooms.
Vincent Nibbering
Campsite is right on the strip, so perfect for people passing through or staying 2-3 nights to discover Las Vegas at night and sleep during day! Not for families wanting to enjoy the campground. There is a pool and Jacuzzi but its very busy with jumping kids and not much green. No trees and very little grass. Showers are smurf height and not very powerful. Only 1 shower per toilet house. Very pricey, around 80 dollars a night. But location is great, bus stops right outside and takes u up and down the strip 24/7.
Heather Weir
Their rates aren't bad, I found them to be the cheapest rates off boulder hwy. Compared to all others I've searched , the bathrooms are always squeeky clean!! Theres clean pool, hot tub, laundry onsite, security 24 hrs a day, helps everyone feel safe , for the most part, most employees welcome you and are more than willing to give a helping hand, the older gentleman went over and beyond to help us with out tent camper, because we are first timers we were embarrissed, but everyone made us feel very normal and genuinely wanted to help, He acaully went and found us a propane tank when he found out we got sold a trailer without one!! So grateful to have stayed at the KOA off boulder hwy. By Sams Town casino !! Thank you
Colorado Gram (Colorado gram)
I love this KOA. Very nice. Loved the grass sites for my dogs! The dog park is awesome. So is the hot tub, pool, and Circus Circus right there for your family fun. Kids will have plenty to do and it is right on strip.
I felt very safe, the campground is well lit. The staff very helpful. Im disabled and needed a taxi they offered to drive us to the taxi stand! A+ service.
RV-ing to Vegas stay here!
K2 Intruders
We were sent to the Overflow Lot across the street and behind the hotel/casino. Also told that the pool was open but it was the pool back where we checked in and the pool in our area was drained. An okay place for an overnighter, I wouldn't stay for two weeks.
Gary Henne
Quite nice but don't plan on watching the cable tv. It was terrible service. 5 minutes of sound and picture followed by 30 seconds to 2 minutes of a frozen signal. And that was the entire 4 days we stayed. KOA should not advertise what they can't provide.
Martin Ayres
This RV park has slot of pluses it has nice pool, jacuzzy, showers, laundry Nathans is a short walk to sames town where they have a free shuttle that takes u to different casinos for free. It has great location to slot of laces to shop eat fast food great service at the park here the staff here is second to none, they treat u like family there very smart with great insight to the area they will go out of there way to help in every way kid friendly and pet friendly and all for the lowest price in town everything included for a great low price this is the best RV park that I've stayed at and second to know one in the world for bless us all happy road trip to all and happy camping
Kathleen Caught
Staff were excellent. Washtoom clean. Access to the movies and restaurants and casino was a plus. K9 PARK is a nice touch. Very small lots and no place to sit outside were down sides.
Michael Weir
KOA quality. We stayed at the park on Boulder not the one on Nellis. Interesting layout but seems to work. Staff great very helpful. Only 4 because of noise, not something they can fix. Well maintained pleasant park. Would stay there again.
Sterling Code
This is a very nice campsite in Las Vegas. Full hookups in good condition, the pool area was well maintained and the staff were mostly friendly. I would stay here again if i was traveling via RV through Las Vegas.
Jose Amaral Jr
My favorite is the sea food buffet The whole staff no matter what area you are in is always helpful and very nice. I like that this hotel is away from the busy strip and more of a lay back atmosphere that you can enjoy at a slower pace. Its very clean and very good deals on rooms, food and entertainment. be sure to check their schedule for upcoming events.
Emma Marie Morgan
Very nice campground. Clean bathhouse and laundry facilities. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Penny Arant
We have been spending a few days here every January or March for several years. It's clean, pet friendly, walking distance to entertainment and good food, great security and ample room between RV units. There is a shuttle to take and return you from the Las Vegas Strip.
Gale Gourley
Great place to stay. Friendly staff, fast check-in.
Eric Peterson
Great camp ground good location reasonably priced within a very easy short walk even on the hottest of days from the Sams Town Gambling Hall which has something in it for everyone. You can also hop on one of the shuttles headed down town to the strip and have some fun down there.
Bryce Durango
Mr. Chris Spencer is the GM here. He was on point when responding to an email. He didn't add all the extra stuff that everyone else has been doing. As someone new to planning a cross country trip in the civilian world he made it easy! I would email a question and it would just be a simple yes or no. hats off to this man and the company that put him there.
RandomVegasNerd
I really like it. Close to the hotel and great rates. They do need to update the laundry facilities and sometimes emergency vehicles come down the main road which is close. Overall very nice.
Jennifer Hall
I like this campground, it is clean, all faculties are sparkling. Camp host is extra nice. You have casino patrolling all day and night, and at the gate. Best part, you can go into the casino with ease.
Ken Miner
This is a nicely laid out RV park with all of the amenities and support facilities for your stay. It is adjacent to Sam's Town Casino & restaurants. But it is noisy from the homes that border the property in the rear and from Boulder Highway.
Willie PSYCHO
It was pretty Kool, good selection of everything, a solid place to go. Love the free parking.
Katrina McCardle
Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms, nice sized spaces and one of the few kid-friendly RV parks in Las Vegas. Both of the pools are awesome.
Paul Collins
Full hookups, hot tub is closed.
Doug Underwood
This place is great, the sites are little close together but it's clean , set up well and close to the casino. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Stay for 3 nights get the fourth night free. Hell of a deal.
John Z
Great location- easy access to the strip and the expo. Internet was free (almost had a heart attack) it also was crappy. (which explained why it was free) They should really mark the path to get to the strip better- walking up the alley at night one feels he could be on CSI. In the morgue. Its a little pricey -you can usually get a room at circus circus for less money.
OK place it just needs that KOA Family touch.
Lisa Bartha-Aarhus
Very very accommodating! Staff is courteous and they take time to explain the perks Sam's Town offers guests. Dog park on site and grounds are well kept.
Karen Potts
Very clean! It was the first place we stayed that had decent internet and that is important when you are trying to conduct business. Will visit again!
Brennan Tolman
We’ve tried all the different RV parks in Vegas and always come back to this one. Great amenities and an awesome store. Tons of restaurants nearby and a Walmart across the street
Mystic Dragon
Stayed here for a few days. Personally nothing to set the world on fire. Maybe fix holes in cement where people park so you can level out your RV. Husband and son said mens bathroom was messy everytime they went in. Front desk person I checked in with could of been a little more pleasant, just seemed like they were going through the motions. Other than that not much to say about this location...
Jackie Bauer-Lewis
Always room for big rigs with full hookups. Shuttles available next door at Sams Town to the Convention Center and Thomas Mack Arenas
.
Matthias Mennekes
We stayed one night before we returned our RV. To my mind it is not a place to spend your vacation but if you need a secure place in Vegas that offers a pool, free Wi-Fi (only in pool and office area, else 6 USD) and pay a decent price (approx. 24 USD in our case) this is a good place to stay. Restrooms and showers were clean, only the pool could have been a little bit cleaner. In addition, Sam's town casino is 5 minutes walking distance (if you stay at south park) and Walmart is right
across the street.
Marsha Rae
Nice. Across the street from walmart. Only there approved vendors can come on site. Laundry very busy. No shuttle to casino. Not sure if we would stay again.
Ed N.
Nice RV park, service is wonderful. Bathrooms and showers are clean (although a little chilly). Hot tub closed. Laundry room clean.
Linda Scott
Lots of large parking areas. We have a 45' rig that we pull with a small semi & have no problem pulling through. Full hookups, bath house and pool.
tony kush
Great place very clean I'll be back
Ben Berland
I can only speak to the buffet here and what can I tell you that you need to come here for the Friday night Crab legs & Steak night.
Had a 2-for-1 coupon, so it cost us a mere $10 each to stuff our faces with crab legs.
Beauty!
Carrie Tolar
This was a great place for our family. Employees were friendly & helpful. It was quiet, clean, & the facilities were nice. We were very pleased with this as our first stop on our out west RV trip!
Gary Salo
Great place to stay, staff here is excellent
Clear restrooms. 2 large arias for dogs.
Close to stores, plus free shuttle to strip and Fremont street.
Damien
Good Camping, not expansive 39 dollars for a night. Great Showers and there is a free shuttle bus going to the strip every 75 minutes. Would definetely go there again.
Ron Paine
Very friendly staff, office open til 9 pm, most others close at 5-5:30. We were in a bind, had to stay over at last minute.
William Boaz
It is one of the best maintained properties in all of Vegas. The only thing confusing is the rates. They jump all over the place going from way too expensive to affordable and i have no clue why
tecno gaming
Everything was really nice. The Wi-Fi situation is disappointing. There really isn't any free Wi-Fi. It's so slow you basically have to pay extra if you want Wi-Fi. For the cost, Wi-Fi should not be extra. Aside from that, it's a great park.
Keri
Nice pkace, casino onsite. However, there is only 1 shower in the women's restroom near our spot (#315). Men have 5 showers in their restroom.
David Porter
This KOA is especially well managed, comfortable and safe during these tough times. They manage the sites to be as socially distant as possible and offer a sense of safety. We will always return to this KOA
Tom Turner
My friend stayed here this weekend and they loved it. I plan a stay there soon .
Lynne Metz
Access to casino. Half hour by free shuttle to strip and Fremont St. Meals good and reasonably priced. RV park price cheap and ammenities excellent. Pretty hard to top
Richard Kasson
Clean, quiet, well organized along with a pleasant large Kamp K9.
Easy in and easy out
Short walk to the Casino
Becky Miller
Ok RV camping. Pet friendly
E Sykes
The good is location , clean facilities and friendly staff. The bad is very poor wifi ,pool and hot tub has been closed for a month and the gravel around the sites is crushed concrete that tracks into your rv .
Nick Halper
I'm on one girl put me out again... After a twelve hr. Day working construction slept in the VW reason being my check was 23 hrs took days off for her and our dog both sick . Hope the dogs doing well !? Anyway here I was able to shower with clothes and toiletries purchased across the street wally world . Very clean safe and hot water . Was tempted to rub one out but no go E.D. I guess I should grab one dez lil Street hoes for 40 bucks . I'm on that got my rubber in the glove and fresh so clean . I'll post one about the experience.
Lisa Rush
Sites are very close together. Place is clean and lots of staff around if you need anything. Nice fenced dog areas with grass. Short walk over to the casino.
Pam Hartwig
Look ve this RV resort!!!
Christopher Adam Rowland
It's nice place stay lots of great people long-term Murs management is pretty good and easy to get along with very understanding usually jumps right on any issues that you have then here for almost a year sometimes the pool is dirty because of the wind and leaves hot tub are closed due to covid
rene Gonzales
I must say this is a great place to stay! Very helpful staff, nice clean RV park, fenced in dog park, and Christina at front desk has helped me above and beyond!!! I highly recommend this place!
Becky Johnstone
The guides will show your to your site, answer your questions, tell you how to get to offsite locations and return lost people from your party to your campsite if they get turned around. Very clean. Pool and jacuzzi were open in December.
Todd Allison
Great place to stay. Nice areas for your dogs to play.
Janet McFall
We love our stays here. Clean. Easy. Casino next door with fast food options. This is our V3gas home.
ron braasch
Nice park however our spot only had hot water hookup. Really needed cool water in 115 degree heat
brenda hunter
Staff is very friendly and helpful, good sized spaces, showers were very clean, quiet
Jacob F
Clean showers, pool, hot tub. Feels secure, did not seem a shady area as some reviewers suggest. Everything near by to restock a camper. ( Propane, rv store, etc.)
Mary-Margaret DelliCarpini
We enjoyed this park. The way the trailers were parked no-one had to look at the hook ups. Very thoughtfully done. Very clean and quiet
Pamela Patton
The staff is very nice. They all like dogs. They are helpful with reservations and finding a spot that works for you. More big Rig spaces with some shade would be great.
Craig Peterson
Staff are great. They are so friendly. The location is close to Sam's Town, and easy drive to the strip, Fremont, or shopping. There is a shuttle as well.
James Curdy
Great place with friendly helpful staff and decent prices. Very clean and quiet. Well monitored and secure for being not far off the strip in a suburban neighborhood.
Mike Harvey
Needed a pull through for the night. Fits the bill. Little further from the interstate than I would have liked. Great Dog park.
Maťo Kyrcz
The best place I ever stayed at during my road trip. Amazing and friendly stuff at the front desk :-) Cool location, showers, swiming pool....everything super cool :-)
Rick de Graaf
Perfect RV campsite to visit Las Vegas, possible to take a free shuttle bus closeby which brings you straight into Vegas. Also the toilets and showers are clean and comfortable.
Robert Capoziello
Very clean and good security
Harley Fox
It was a comfortable place to stay very helpful people and I was not concerned about my vehicle at all easy to get in but definitely check in before they close much easier if you have it at they have a pet playground helps out when you just don't feel like walking open the door and let the dog do what the dog what dogs you close to the strip and all the time I was here the only thing is the airport does make a little noise but nothing that you can overcome because the time of the year I did not take advantage of their pool and jacuzzi but they were clean and I would not have hesitated if not for the weather they have a store on premises that makes a lot of things easier all in all a good visit and place to park your RV
sherron pace
Nice quiet though you get some street noise. Considering its in Las Vegas it's a nice place to park your RV and play
Kent Lyons
Awesome food prices and amenities. I had so much fun in their nice casino. The animatronic show was outstanding. The people were great! both staff and visitors. I will be back.
M. W.
Good service, reasonable prices. Close to road and casinos so it is a bit noisy and doesn't get dark. Probably what you have to expect, when you stay in an urban area.
Pippa Mitchell
I really liked this place. They had some one driving around making sure it was secure. The facilities were clean and in good working order. Close to the shops and entertainment.
Andrew Little
Only a few good sites "in the shade" but other than that we had a great time and I have grown to hate las vegas. The koa was almost the most cost effective under 40 a night full hook ups and shade. Try to get site 225 or 226. Site opposite 225 is good as well right next to bathroom / shower + adequate shade. Staff was all helpful in registration/camp store. Turned off by the old retirees working as maintenance who were nebby. NEVER THE LESS IF YOU ARE STAYING IN VEGAS THIS IS THE BEST PLACE. Find shade your fridge and ac will thank you.
Brenda
Absolutely wonderful, quite, clean, safe, pet friendly, pool, laundry, great customer service easy access to everything. 3rd time staying and as long as we are in our RV this is the only place we will stay.
Judi Gruver
The bathrooms there are unsafe.if you are a senior citizens, if you are disabled in any way like.slow walking or not able to pick up your feet with every step you take i.was injured with a fracture shoulder and pelvic. I got.no help from the resort.at all
Minerva Dunn
Very friendly and let you have your fun.
The rooms are very clean. I live in Vegas & still get roos at Sam's Town..
Sherry Fairow
We stop here twice. We like it. It is close to the casino Boomtown and it has all the amenities of a KOA. We will stop again.
Nick Humphries
Great facilities, good security and service. WiFi is limited to 1.5 mbps unless you pay for 5mbps which isn't event that good. Pool and spa are great additions also.
Patricia Youngblood
Beautiful spot great RV park. Sams town was a warm and welcoming place to stay, my only complaint was the WiFi. Once more people got in the park it became so slow it was unusable.
gary nipp
Great rv park......staff was great. sites were perfect. Angry Butcher restaurant has GREAT FOOD and great prices at 4-6pm in the cooler outdoor patio.Free shuttle to strip.
Nicki Mcfarlin
This is our third time staying here. They have a very nice staff, clean bathrooms/ showers and nice sized lots. I highly recommend this KOA.
Ashley Dumond
