Nice place to walk to and be able to have a little bit of nature in the middle of the busy city life. A sweet escape if you just want to enjoy the waterfall area or do yoga on the large field in the middle park. Very beautiful.

This park sucks and it's too small. Also rude b*s come here. People come here to walk there dogs. There's portable restrooms here. That's about it.

Beautiful park located in the downtown. Very clean. There is a small dog park inside this park as well. You can also rent bicycle from here as well. Train station is also near by. Plenty of space for kids to play.

I absolutely adore this dog park with adult sized play structures. There are hills, a lawn, a pavilion stage area, a nature walk through a man made bayou that filters water, and an adult sized swing set! I love the playground structures. This park is beautifully done and a lovely place to meet up, have a photo shoot, or reconnect with your inner child on the play scape.

We attended the annual Food Festival. Bands, vendors and food trucks. You can bring your own seats for the grassy areas. There is limited concrete seating. Nice park and stage area.

Nothing too spectacular, but cool all the same. I was able to definitely chill and get my meditation on. All in all, still worthy of for stars. You're right next to the Galleria if you want to go shopping. The design setup seems to be based upon principles of positive energy flow. I'm not exactly an expert per se on that but I know there is definitely some sort of design aesthetic going along that or some sort of similar route. But still, bottom line pretty cool spot.

A very cute park! Lots of open space, pretty waterfalls, and a nice walking path. The playground and pavilion are closed due to COVID, along with the public bathrooms, but there are port a potties and hand washing stations. The dog park is open. I would recommend getting some Vietnamese food from Cali Sandwich across the street and coming to eat at this park!

Midtown Park... Green in the middle of the concrete jungle... such a great change from all the concrete around. This park, Midtown Park was well planned and thought out from the water feature to the picnic area to the performance stage. This park will serve not only Midtown and the immediate areas but a little farther out of the city. It has a playground also! Good job City of Houston!

It didn’t take long before deciding which location would be best for a music video. Midtown park offered a variety of different scenery. It’s a really small park, not like discovery green. I will say it was not as packed and enjoyed the open space in the middle where people would dance, have picnics, and just overall great lounge spot. Looking back it’s a great spot to fly kites or walk your dog. The kids playground is closed and the security guard on duty and be a bit strict, though all in good means to keep the grounds secure I guess.

Hadn't been to this spot in over 25yrs, it was still nice, but I was way too many people all up on and around each other during this Pandemic. I most definitely understand why Houston is a Covid Hot spot. People were walking all upon each other and maskless like we were back in 2019.

Absolutely beautiful! Well maintained and simply elegant art. It says it’s a 24 hour park on Google Maps, however, it most definitely is not. Correct hours are on the parks website.

WONDERFUL place of relaxation minus the officer complaining about charging electronics over 15 minutes twice already. Please give your people vacation days so that they won't be so grouchy and families can come find enjoyment at the park as meant to. :)

Great park to go to on a hot date, and very beautiful looking outlet. There is a performance area so it makes it rather fun to be in with. The only bad thing is that it is a bit small,and you have to pay for parking which I do expect knowing it's by midtown... Other then that is a great place to just kick back and enjoy the environment and if you go remember to take chalk!

It's so nice and clean! They have easy access restrooms, a few cool spots for kids to be entertained, perfect grass areas for picnics and tables as well! They also have a little creek with a bridge and stairs to sit and listen to the water. So peaceful. Security are usually around for questions and concerns. Overall a nice compact place.

This park is spacious, have both bus and train route and also have a parking space underground. It right behind Hcc and you can enjoy the flow of water around you as well as fresh plants.it also have an elevator and stair way to the underground. This park have a very beautiful view and lighting at night.it’s a very nice place for kids but still you need to keep an eye on them because of moving traffic. It does not have plenty of family chair but still have little sit-able tree base. 🥰 what do you guys think about this park? Share your opinion😊

I absolutely love this park I remember when they started building it I was happy when it was finished the community right there really needed a great outdoor space and this is it there's a actual parking playground there there's a water feature huge space in the middle to just do whatever it's always a great day when I go here. The restrooms have been closed sometimes they have porta potties out there. Dad is the only thing that may be a downside to the park there's always a mixture of people but I've been there so many times and nothing has happened.

Very nice little park with a play area for kids and a large green for picnics or relaxing. The parking garage under the park was easy to use and only has fees during the posted hours.

This is a very nice park, is small, but has very nice areas for picnics, workout, walk. They also have fun workout activities, like a very energetic Zumba class Tuesdays at 6:30pm. The also host other activities that you could check out on their web.

All of downtown Houston is very unique for the purpose of education, entertainment, fun, and safety... Our buildings are solid(built with the best materials) and our parks are design to fit all cultures... Mind your behavior in our city... Natives don't disrespect each other( no fighting in public)... Our lawmen really are honest and try too help the public... There's a lot of history in our city... A lot us have too(also) learn and remember that violence doesn't solve anything.

Today was my first time coming here. My family and I had a good time. It's a nice clean park and will come back. The only downside was the restrooms were closed and we had to go to a nearby restaurant to use the restroom

Idk if many folks know about this little gem. It's a small park in Midtown Houston. It's convenient to get to, has a small amount of curb parking, a dog park, water features, a good sized open area, a stage, and a playground. It's right on the Metro rail line. The best thing about this park is the HUGE parking garage sitting next to it. We often park here, jump on the train and head to events at NRG. It's about a 20 minute ride but is cheaper and easiest. It's fairly cheap and you can prepay online. This is a cool place to just sit, read a book, get in a workout, let kids play, have a picnic, bring the dog or park to head to other locations. There are shops nearby to grab a snack as well. I highly recommend this park.

The park is brand new. Very clean, safe, and pretty open! I've yet to come at a time when it's super crowded. Not sure if people don't know about it or what. I really like that the dog park has turf and a slope; it helps wear my dogs out quickly when I make them run up and down the hill a few times

Refreshing to see this ecologically protected urban park pop up in midtown. Was impressed to learn about the "green stormwater" infrastructure of the park - the recirculating water system mimics the bayous and wetlands of the region and protects native species. There was also security there walking the premises so this could also give visitors peace of mind.

Great local park. Relatively pretty small but theres always fun random events going on and it's right off of the metro. Theres a small dog park there with a small hill to throw a ball and wear your pumps out. Water available to them too. At any given time you can expect couples or small groups of friends working out or tossing a frisbee. Restrooms are often down but they'll sometimes have portopotties (mostly refreshed) in their place.

We had a balloon release for a friend that passed away. There’s a stage with fans, light, and sound that can be hooked up. There’s a small playground for kids. Great for hosting outdoor events. The club Set is right next door.

Midtown park is a wonderful city park. Accessible by the metro, several different facilities, parking. Only problem was that my friend didn't get change from the parking machine, so if you aren't using a credit card, use the correct change!

What is there not to like about having this green space when all you just see are apartments or the like all over this area. You would have to drive a few to find another green space. I have not gone to any of the events but I like how they are advertised on google maps. I saw a lady here talking about a food festival. I don't think those concerns are related to the park or the city, it would be the organizer of the festival. This park does not really have walking trails. This park though does have a playground, and it appears built for events.

You can do work outs,walk the dog,take the kids to play on playground. There is also a stage for any type of performances or entertainment. There are plenty of places to eat lunch or dinner really close to the park or simply just bring your own and eat it at Park. I Love just walking and absorbing the natural feeling of this beautiful park.

Nice, clean park. Open spaces for games / running around, swings, giant climbing rope cube thing, covered area for performances. Bathrooms are out of order, so they have portable bathrooms right now, or it would have been 4*.

One of the newest parks in town that just hosted the Jerk Fest on 09.14.19. More so the biggest event was #504 day which featured Mannie Fresh and Juvenile. More so there is also Zumba lessons on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m. In addition it has a dog park and water park (shoots out the ground) for children. Nice park with security!

There is a lot of variety packed into this small park. It's easily accessible by Metro Rail/McGowen Station. Hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. NOT 24 hours. I visited during the day and learned about their water collection system which irrigates the park and creates a relaxing quaint stream with waterfalls and plenty of plants and folage to appreciate and learn about from small plaques posted around. There are hills with small trees to relax under, restrooms, dog park (leash only) and no dogs allowed on the Main grassy area. If you're on MetroRail it's a worth the stop for a relaxing break. And there was Security at the park at the pavilion. ☮️💨

I only come here exclusively for the dog park so I can’t comment on the rest of the park. The dog park itself is bigger than the one on gray and brazos. It’s half Astro turf hill and half dirt. The dirt portion can get pretty muddy for awhile after it rains. There are two dog poop stations and a dog/human combo water fountain.

I am obsessed with this park! It's like Levy meets Discovery Green. Super convenient location with and urban landscape backdrop. And the metro train runs by it and my kid loves to watch it while we are playing at the playground.

Overall, I had a great time. The bands and music was listeningable, as usual hot as he'll. Make sure you hydrate your family before you get there. Two bottles of water is not going to help, then you stand in line for food about 35 minutes long. I felt dizzy for a couple of minutes, got water and a little breeze came thru every now and then. Couldn't try but one food truck, as a iron chef(lol) quality good, presentation good, taste was good at the Cajun Creole truth. Clean and organized, nice employees, preparation of the Food was time consuming, which is understandable. Got a chance to get Henna designs.

This park in the heart of downtown Houston has a stage area that they use for special events and gatherings. I currently have been to two different events both of which were movies in the Park events. Where they feature a movie for free as you get to watch a movie on the lawn outside. They have many other events and ongoing regular vents like yoga and Etc. If you check out Midtown Park you should definitely check their website so that you can attend one of these events. Very family-friendly and the staff for Midtown Park events are very cheerful and excited to facilitator in the events for the City of Houston.

A lot of the park is closed because of Covid, also lots of homeless people around who make the playground their hang out spot. Besides that it’s very modern and if Covid was not an issue it would be a much better experience obviously

Cool park in the middle of an interesting area. I had pho across the street which was so good I gave this park an extra star. There was a weird tweaker in this park that accused me of stealing his keys. I said I hadn't (obviously) and he asked if I promised (weird) and I said I didn't steal the keys and he said "so you don't promise". Luckily I'm a big guy so big druggos like this dont mess with me too much but he really freaked out my wife. There was a security guard there that looked me up and down(like I was a problem) then proceeded to talk to the tweaker for a long while, like a friend. I came back about 30 min later to get my car and the tweaker was still there and the security lady was also there not caring. It really left a bad taste in my mouth after having a good time in the area. WTF

A quiet, almost serene place with an open stage to host events. I just needed a public restroom where I didn't have to purchase anything to qualify as a customer. Low funds and I had to last another day. We got bologna and cheese and bread a couple of sodas and had a picnic in the middle of the stage. Nobody bothered us I had just let the guy at the internatonal hostel, a short hop on Metro rail from downtown to the museum district. The park is a short ride down the train to near the Randall's downtown a two block stroll to relief and demolish of the picnic supplies I had enough to eat a couple of sandwiches on the train home to Louisiana. Don't assume anything about Amtrak's prices . Ask the cost before you get two Coca-Cola's for $5. Oh yeah, the park. Convenient and affordable parking is located in an underground garage beneath the park. Pedestrian exit is a part of the stage. A fantastic glass and steel weather cover over the stairs complements the stage like a clear support for the covering the entrance and keeping one of Houston's floods from entering by opening. Even though Houston is built around a bayou and the land is a little moist on a good day. Advances in submarine doors, of all things, but a natural fit in a basement built in spite of the soil having a high percentage of water, keeps underground Houston dry in all but the severest of storms. We were in the medical center during a tropical storm my mother, God bless her, walked across the street in water up to her neck in the middle of the street to buy me yarn and crochet hooks to keep my hyperactive, with a cast on my foot, 5 year old, spoiled rotten, intelligent mind from driving her crazy if I wasn't occupied with an activity that didn't require legs. 6 weeks is forever when you're 5 with nothing to do but roam the halls of the hospital in a wheelchair, being a nuisance to the nurses asking questions and finding other kids to get in trouble with. We actually left the hospital without telling anyone and spent the day wandering around the zoo. The police had been called because I watched the time and knew when it was due and nobody could convince me that the pain wouldn't return if someone needed the nurses attention more than a hyper spoiled 5 year old who could read, tell time and gave a red crocheted Rose to every nurse that entered my room for whatever reason they felt that if you came to visit for just a few minutes and made a little boy happy. You were a member of the club and my mother wasn't needed to keep me occupied and less likely to explore the other floors looking for some kiss to play with. I have no idea if this review is helpful, but I spent hours writing it. It's sure to be entertaining. The beginning is probably the closest to an actual review you can try to ignore my tangents but before you know it, you're sucked in before you know it. I injested lots of chemical substances I the crafting of this review.

A low hourly rate along Travis street. Wooster's Garden and Little Woodrows are both within short walking distance. Plus it's underneath Midtown Park itself. Very convenient for those not familiar with midtown.

The future Midtown Park is currently home to the largest outdoor mural in the city of Houston's history. The 4,128 sq.ft. "Love you" Midtown Mural was commissioned in April 2013 by the Midtown Cultural Arts and Entertainment District to celebrate the designation awarded by the State of Texas Commission on the Arts. The mural was designed and painted by the team of Eyeful Art Murals and Designs: Sebastien "Mr. D" Boileau, Parisian artist "Serty KCA", and Alex "ZU" Arzu. The mural took approximately 7 days to paint. 275 cans of Ironlak spray paint, 70 gallons of wall paint, boom lifts, supplies, and building new painting tools large enough for the wall were all a part of the project. The temporary public art exhibition is on the site of a park space that will be THE destination for this urban community.
