Beautiful landscaping and public bathrooms..great place to go when there is high surf...you're a few yards from the ocean. Did not see local tents pitched along the beach nor any of the Riff Raff who plague the surrounding area breaking into cars. Felt safe here

I sat and watched the waves crash on the shore. It was very relaxing. This is a super quiet, off the beaten path stop. It has a restroom and wash station.

One of my favorite places to go and enjoy the peace and quiet of the ocean. The D.O.T. was resurfacing the road and entire parking area so the entrance to the park was blocked off. We parked outside and walked in. It was totally empty, just my daughter and myself and another lady enjoying the beach.

Beautiful park with an outdoor shower and a couple public restroom buildings. Only bummer was, while camping, we got told we were not allowed to camp there by police. The officer was super nice about it. The guy that lives in one of the houses that borders the park WILL call the cops.

Great views. Relatively flat hike out and back. Saw many ghost crabs and helmet urchin. There was a Monk seal at the point.

It was great but really hot. I mean literally hot. If you don't have a pool the walk down to the beach is a walk. I mean it was blazing hot so for me it felt far. But all in all we all enjoyed ourselves.

I would not recommend swimming at this beach park because the waves are pretty serious here. It is beautiful place to hang out though with plenty of parking.

Quiet, breezy, little park that is just North of the crowded, sandy Makaha Beach Park (currently doing road construction right outside of the Makaha.) Got some beautiful views of the surf coming into the Rocky beach. Only one or two people out in the ocean mid-day.

Its one of those quiet beaches around. Not many people were here. We are not much into swimming. So, it was good to sit and spend some time enjoying the views and beach.

This is not a sandy beach & I don't think it's a good swimming area but it has grass and picnic tables and is good for fishing, picnics and camping. There are 2 restrooms in the park. I have done a lot of fishing here and also camping. Other times when I need a little time to myself I go here because there isn't always a ton of people here and just sit at a picnic table and watch the sunset. It's really quite beautiful.

This is a great place to have parties. There are really great views over on the west side of the Island. We never had any problems here.

Half the park is closed down to house the covid positive houseless. They are not able to get near you as that half is closed off by police. We normally stop at this park to have a trailgate after hiking. We can grab some good shade and grill our food while listening to the ocean and having a bathroom accessible. You can also watch for goats on the mountain, they like to hang out on the edge by the flag

The park is a nice place to camp. The bathrooms are older, and on heavy weekends they bring in porta johns. Showers are cold and outside. No fires are allowed. The park is right on the sea, so bathing or swimming is right there.

Really enjoy Kea’au Beach Park for the opportunity to take sunset pictures. Kea’au park offers the chance to incorporate trees into your sunset picture for more character. No beach-just coral cliffs which are not very high. Some trees for shade. Public rest rooms. Very relaxing to sit about 20 feet back from the coral and listen to the waves hit the coral and occasionally watch the water spray vertical. Park has never been over crowded.

It's a great place for parties but If you're thinking of camping here, it's not a great place to camp. 1, No place for the children to swim. 2, it's super hot and last, there's this guy who lives next to this beach Park who thinks he owns the park. He calls the cops for everything. Like noise, people having fun with the family, just every little thing. That's CRAZY! It's a camping area, what do you expect. Other than that, it's okay.

Large park perfect for picnics, camping and fishing. Not good for swimming because of the sharp lava rocks and difficult access to the water. There is surfing here, but only for experienced surfers. Camping reservations are made online or at city hall. There is available water and showers. There are two restrooms in the park. Bring your own toilet paper, since they tend to run out at times. There is a problem with occasional vandalism and car breakins that can spoil the vibes of this beautiful park.

Beautiful for watching sunset. No access to any sandy beach, only lava boulders. Camping ground but there is big dog kennel across road and many digs constantly barking. Kills any attempt to sleep.

I visited at 7:30 p.m. This beach is very dark at night however it has several restroom areas. About 3 I believe. The waves seem rough as they crash on the rocks so I would not recommend swimming here.

3 stars only because no area for swimming. Very rocky no sandy beach. Large grassy areas and there are tables to eat on. Not recommended for swimming.

This place has so much good memories. Super cool pond down at the bottom bathroom,right off the edge of the reef. If your not familiar with this pond,you could get swept out when the tide is high & the waves are breaking in. ✋Stay up on the reef. There is no lifeguards

Watch out for glass in the soft, deep sand. Rip currents occur fast, so good swimmers only should venture here. Keep all valuables on you and out of site as this is on the wild, wild west side.

This beach located west side of Waikiki. Lot's of homeless are blocking of beach front . Can't park the car. Scary beach.

This place is beautiful but as much as the state charges for camp permits im surprise they never fix the roads there is pot holes everywhere and deep to but the beach is nice for fishing and the park grass area is well maintained

Keaau Beach is the very nice Beach that has a restroom and water for about another 6 my 6 or 7 Mi and it is normally local people camp there that are homeless but they're harmless and you can cook there and if you want a certain camping area then you should get a permit otherwise people camp there without permits they stay in their Vans and trucks and cars and sleep on the beach not the beach but the grassy area start it up Beach some drug stuff but it's not very dangerous over here car we have had I can't remember the last one Our visitors are # 1 and we treat them kindly actually hugs

Honestly peaceful nice park night or day. Theres people or other cars. But everyone leaves eachother alone and nothing really happens there. Great place to star gaze. Just dont cause any trouble to others cruzing and show Aloha always

My keikis, family & friends love it here. Big open run around for keikis(everyone) even your dogs(but please clean up mess) Mahalo in advance Also surf's ok & fishing. Can camp too but go "ehawaiigov" for permits(get fee) Personally if YOU need "YOU TIME" its 1 my faves besides Kula'ila'i "pray for sets" (WHEN OPEN ugh)& IDKs "I dont knows" more down towards Keaweula Bay "YOKES"

Always loving the Leeward side. Good spot for sunsets and hanging out kinda Rocky but I use them as chairs. A must see location . Typically when I'm there it's packed with other people that are just hanging out and camping. Lots of ammenities but get there early if you wanna get to them.

Public restrooms are not very clean. There's ample parking and the views are beautiful. Great place to have a shaded picnic lunch. Not very crowded either.

Bathroom locks are broken, great that its open to the public. The shower drains need slight repairs for the drains

Beach is beautiful surf rough. Parking lot & roadways in horrid condition. Have needed to be resurfaced for years. Not safe at night.

Absolutely beautiful. No swimming here but the views are stunning! Picnic tables, and a bathhouse. No toilet paper in the bathroom, so bring your own!

Even the restrooms in the park are nice. It continues to change color for 30 minutes after sunset. It is such a beautiful place.

It is a bit difficult to enjoy playing in the water because it is made of cliffs, but there are many people fishing and the sea is beautiful.

Ein Strand ist hier nicht. Wird eher von Einheimischen genutzt, um am Wochenende zu feiern. Angler sind viele hier. Auf den Sonnenuntergang hat man einen freien Blick. Wenn man Delfine und Schildkröten sehen will, ist man hier richtig. Am besten mit Boot und Schnorchel. Wir sind von der Meeresseite hingefahren und konnten den Delfinen sehr nahe kommen. Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis.
