Absolutely beautiful. We loved camping here. Can’t beat the price & the view. I wish the bathrooms were a little more up to date & the hours in which you get locked out were a little later, but otherwise everything was so amazing.

This is my family choice of camping area. Quiet and nice people, gated, fresh air, not too sunny, close by. We highly recommend camping here.

Amazing views, clean bathrooms, ample campsites with attractive fire pits away from the city. This campsite is truly breathtaking and has simple conveniences like bathrooms, showers and picnic tables at each site. The campsites are clustered, but if you get a few friends, a whole area is only about 5 spots. Each area has its own parking lot with plenty of spots. The gate hours are a little strange, but the caretaker is nice and let us out a couple times off hours without complaint.

Shame the camping grounds aren't managed very well, for such a beautiful place with great potential. Could only book 3 nights, no more no less. Due to the low cost of the permit that isn't really an issue if you plan to stay shorter though. The bigger issue is the closing time (6:30pm), which really restricts you if you plan to do anything in the evening. One of the caretakers was very rude when we asked about it. Showers and toilets are as basic as it gets. We left a day earlier because we wanted to do be able to go out for dinner in the evening

Positively beautiful location. The campsites are big and the walk to the bathroom is short. Great spot for group camping except there is no shower privacy, so you nay want to bring a swimsuit for showering in if you are modest.

Wonderful botanical gardens surrounded by the Ko'olau mountains, picturesque, lush green... fabulous!

Nice campgrounds that you can drive right up to. It does rain a lot and there are mosquitoes so be prepared.
