Had a spot for us after hours. Nice friendly manager. Good price. All hookups. Cable was grainy but was able to use antenna to watch news. Behind pharmacy but safe and quiet. Just 1 night passing thru!

The LT residents are so helpful and NICE! We met several when staying here for several days on our way to FL. The park is quiet and so centrally located that you can actually walk to get groceries or to several of the local restaurants in the immediate area. Only about mile or a mile-and-a-half from the beach. No open fire pits allowed, but we were able to use our propane fire pit. Since it wasn't peak season yet, so the pool was still closed to campers. We also needed to do laundry and I was really excited to see more than two machines for campers. They're the older commercial models, but they worked great. Management was professional and helpful. My only tiny criticism would be that the space between campers is a bit tight and we knew this ahead of time. However, being that we were able to reserve one of the last pull-through spaces, more than made up for that. Our stay was very nice and we would stay here again.

Very pretty Park you can pass by on the road never know it's there. It's filled with beautiful old oak trees the managers are very friendly and courteous. The location is close to most everything you would need, like restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Plus it's only a short 1 mile drive to the beach.

Great campground, great location. You are 5 minutes from very nice beaches. The check-in was easy and the staff was super friendly. My only complaints are the pool is small and dated and some of the sites are not the easiest to get in and out of - huge ruts in the grass - mostly because the long term residents have packed their space all the way to the edge of the road and make maneuvering difficult. The sites are well shaed and all the amenities worked well. We stayed here for 2 nights in a 37ft fifth wheel and would stay here again if in the area.

It's a very nice campground. The folks here are all very friendly. It's about 10 minutes to the beach.

I was torn between a 4 star or 5. This park had alot of long term living RV's and Snow Birds. They were all very nice and a pressure to talk to. The park is very quite at night besides alittle street noise from the streets around the area. The park is 5 mins. From the beach. I had the Maint. Man there help me with an issue. They were a pleasure to deal with and they were very accomidating to every issue/change we had, and we had a few.

Stayed for a week while my kid was playing in a tournament. The campground is nice, the staff is friendly, quiet and peaceful at night. The 30 amp breaker kept tripping but the lady in the office gave me a 50 > 30 adapter and I didn't have any other issues. They were also able to accommodate my last minute (week long) reservations. We bought the camper on Saturday and had the reservation scheduled for that Monday. Greatly appreciated that. We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back when we play in the area again.

Very happy with our stay here. We stayed for a week during June 2019. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They let us choose which site we wanted. The park is very clean and well maintained. Convenient to grocery within walking distance which was huge. Captain Al’s seafood restaurant right next door was awesome. About a mile from beautiful beach and lots of casinos nearby. Will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.

Stayed here over Christmas 2020 very quiet and peaceful place. As far as I could tell all lots are paved and pretty level. Campground showers are clean and well kept. Have 30 and 50 amp hookups water and sewage. Also have cable connection for television local channels. There's a play area for the kids and a pool, which wasn't open because it was chilly...lol overall it's a great place to stay. There were a few permanent residents but everyone was friendly and cordial. The place is situated near everything. There's a Rouses grocery store right at the entrance.

The people are so nice and friendly.i had several people that is staying there came by and introduced there self and welcomed us staying.when I first got there setting up my neighbor beside me asked if I had everything.or needed anything .the staff is great they answered every question I asked. The manager Judy she does a fine job on keeping everything going .She stays busy all the time from keeping the grounds up and working the store/ office.i know we will really enjoy staying there.its a nice getaway for the weekend as we go down there and it makes it better knowing how the people treating you as good as they are. Thanks for letting us stay there

Very nice people. We just stopped in for an overnight from Texas to Florida. Got in a bonus hour at the beach. Surprised they weren't full (spring break). Only criticisms might be crowded, likely full timers. Didn't bug me, 5 stars and is come back.

Lovely oasis. Many large shade trees. Manager, Judy, is the hardest working person I have ever met. Kid you not! She and her staff keep the grounds clean - not a simple thing because there are so many grassy areas, a pool, laundry, showers, and even a small store. Also, most important, Judy runs a no-nonsense park. When one lives a gypsy type of lifestyle, we know what it's like to come off the road into an unknown area and feel uneasy about venturing out to walk our dogs or walk to the showers, etc. Not here. Unnecessary rowdiness, loud, crude behavior, any type of conduct even suggesting drama, is dealt with swiftly. Judy is just a fair and fantastic manager; I cannot emphasize this enough. My husband and I believe we have found a jewel.

After losing our place over at Gulf haven we were looking for a safe secure and friendly place to camp for the time being while we look for a home and we feel so blessed that we found this place at least until cruising the coast happens in October but what a wonderful shady place and the people are unbelievably friendly hope to stay here for a while

I loved my stay @ Baywood. We are fulltimers and found this place worthy of staying for an extended period of time. The staff is great, campground is well maintained and is filled with good people.
Some sites seem very close together, but where we were was nice. I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure there are sites with yards available.
Very convienent location: beach is a mile away, pharmacy is directly in front of the park, grocery across the street.
We will be back.

It is an older park, with older facilities. However the staff is excellent, and extremely friendly. Spots are asphalt that are somewhat level. A large percentage of permanent residents. We were there one night, they placed us in a great pull through spot at the end away from other campers. We ended up using Uber to hop a ride to the casinos, which was $23 each way.

In response to Ferulloscoasting , The day you arrived my assistant checked you in. She took you to your site and asked you if you would like wifi, and your answer was not right now, you would check with your husband and tell her later. Also As far as the office being unoccupied that week is because we had lightning storms that week and were actually hit 3 different days. It fried some of the tv cable, and even knocked items off of some tenants camper walls inside because it struck the ground right behind her camper. So yes I was in and out, mostly outside repairing all the cable several times so tenants as yourself could watch tv. Im sorry that was an inconvenience for you. Now my laundry facility is not outdated, I have 7 washers and 9 dryers to which one dryer was down. The truth of it is that they are not huge commercial size which anyone could tell by using them, but you had 3 loads of clothes in 1 dryer. So many in fact that the clothes pushed the door open and your clothes fell on the floor. I asked you to seperate them into smaller loads or they would never dry like that. Im guessing you took offense at that?? And also remember your husband was in the pool which we clearly state on a sign that closes at dark. We asked him 3 times to come out so we could lock the gate. He finally got out. And I remember you asking me to help with propane because you said you were pregnant and your husband was not there to help. I came over and disconnected your tank , filled it and reconnected it for you. You did not have to lift a finger. You also said you knocked on my camper door but I didnt answer, I always answer, maybe I was in the shower? I dont know. But how would you even know my door was unlocked?? Did you open my door??? And you did stay an entire month. You did not leave early. I have the ticket. And there is always someone here for any kind of help. This campground is known for the tenants being helpful to one another. So in response to your review??? Tell the way it really was......Manager

I have stayed at the Baywood RV park for the past month. The park is very nice with lots of shade and the lady that manages this park is the best I've ever come across. Every issue I've had with my RV she has been right there to help me repair, she even change out my electrical cord that had burned up. I will always stay at this park every time I'm in south Mississippi.

The Manager, Judy, and her staff are absolutely outstanding in keeping every single detail about staying here like a well oiled engine humming constantly on all 8 cylinders all of the time!! Not only is Baywood Campground & RV Park the most wonderful, fantastic, beautiful, place to stay, everyone makes you feel like you are a part of a family, well cared for and important!! Tennants quickly help one another here which lends to the superior Family Feeling!! During our total going on 6 Months stay here, we have seen Judy do everything from working on a roof, operating a back hoe, cutting limbs off of trees, to cleaning the pool, and helping with literally everything and anything to make Baywood feel like Home and that you never want to leave, as she never hesitates in solving any and every situation right on the spot!! If Judy happens to not be in the office, she can surely always be found on the grounds of the Camp Site helping someone fix somthing somewhere or working on somthing that needs to be tented to at that point in time, so she is always very easy to be found as you will certainly find out for yourself, as you may need her one day for yourself and she will be gimmy on the spot in helping you with whatever that might be!!! If we could we would give her 10 stars and it still would not give her justice nor come close to expressing how amazing she is at running a top notch Family Campground, cause no one out there works as hard as she does on every single level at making Baywood Campground, RV Park in Gulfport, MS the best of the very best!! Not to mention the white sand, well groomed beach is only 1 mile away in walking and or bike riding distance of which we have done more times than we can count in getting healthy and watching the most fantastical Sunrises & Sunsets!! Fire Pits can be reserved on the beach to keep you & your family warm, roast Smores, while watching the Sun Set & or Rise!! Thank-You, so very much, Judy, for making Baywood Campground & RV Park the very best place we could ever hope for or even imagine it to be!!!! Ray & Cheryl Dutton

And we agree with what Cheryl says 100%. Reasonably priced, quiet, excellent hook up services, but as they tell you at the office, provide your own wifi hotspot if you can for faster/better service. Love the honesty!
Marie Braswell
Difficult to get a spot because they are so busy. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Within walking distance of grocery, fast food, dollar store. Close to the beach and casinos. The pool was wonderful when the weather was hot and sticky! Hope to return in October 2013.

It's not really a bad place to stay, but don't expect any kind of after hours partying, cause it is mostly older people who are staying there
