Park has a nice variety of playground equipment and a splash pad.

Cute park. Has restrooms and a splash pad with a little work out area next to it. Good for the littles and older kids. Not a very shaded area but it does also have a basketball court.

The church at the Martin luther king is so dedicated to all public. The great looking inside and out.Nice management for every party purposes.

Had lunch with a friend and noticed unsupervised young kids running around. As a inner city park there should be police just in case. We feed 2 youngsters they were hungry and no parental units around. But the park was clean and picked up no trash on the grass or walkways. Next tine we will bring more food. Bless there little hearts.

East side is my side I like the new look and it's always a good safe place I even got married in this park

Great place, lot's of outside activities and equipment, inside had a fairly big space for parties, which we had a baby shower there and came with the use of a full kitchen and round tables and chairs. Easily, a nice place for bigger functions.

My Great Niece Jayla and Great Nephew Isaiah and I LOVED THE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AND THE ATMOSPHERE!!!! VERY BEAUTIFUL PARK!!!

I came back to Des Moines, ia after 17 years alot has changed to MLK park, which I grew up in.. Eastside has changed of course, it's crowded now but the park is what kepted things somewhat neutral.. it has things for adults and children both to enjoy either indoors & outdoors.. it's beautiful though..

Fun park has a playground field for soccer football and baseball has a basketball court and shelter and a building and a little pool so its pretty cool and nice.

Had lots of fun sparring here, though in the surrounding areas theres lots of broken glass at times

It's okay I guess I've drove by it I don't see a whole lot of people go there and plus it needs more lighting around the park cuz at night it's almost pitch dark
