Tree Haven is a nice private campground. If you plan to stay there I would suggest the sites closest to the gate. Those sites appear to be newer and not for the long term residents who have RV's in the back of the campground. There are two bathrooms located in the campground. One is older and the other appears to be recently built, both are very clean. With that being said, Tree Haven is better suited for RV's that are self contained. If you have a small RV without you own facilities I would suggest finding another campground in the area. The staff is also very friendly and do their best to accommodate you.

This is a nice campground surrounded by corn fields. Many trees fill the campground, which provide much shade. We were welcomed by friendly staff. Verizon phones were able to get a strong 4g signal. Good Wi-Fi when working, but not a reliable service. Campground is about 10mins from major highway. Park allowed mail/package delivery. Many campers were long term, and these RV’s appeared really rough, which presented a negative look on the park. Buildings and campsites can use much TLC. If you pick a site without full dump service, a wagon comes around on Wednesday’s to empty your tanks at no charge.

I recently had relatives stay a week at Tree Haven campgrounds in Galena (Johnstown), Ohio. They absolutely loved it! They have been on the road for 54 weeks and have stayed at many campsites throughout the U.S. and they shared with us, when they visit us again, that Tree Haven is the only place they will stay. The campsite’s Property managers (who are on-site) are accommodating and help every camper that stays. They also allow the campers to have guest visit them (and allow the guest to drive through the gate to the camper’s campsite). Country setting, beautiful trees and starry nights, in a secure environment.

A great campground with an extremely friendly and helpful staff. Spent the summer here for work and enjoyed the whole community as well.

First, let's start with when I reserved the spot, great. Told them I would be late as we had to get off work at 5. They said it was ok. The day we were due, they started calling around 2 pm to know where we were. My husband had to leave work early because we felt we were being rushed now. He got there before me (at this point now we had to drive separate). They gave him the wrong code to get it. When I got there, I couldn't get in and whoever was in charge of the gate acted like such an inconvenience to her to let me in. Let's get to wifi, sure, they have it. But it wasn't until we checked out that they decided to let us have the e password .. and then we had to ask. Noone was available at the office the multiple times we had a chance to ask. We were trying to camp, too. Too many permanent people there. We felt like outsiders in a campground, of all places. When I did finally get to talk to someone, "how dare I Bother her" was the the feeling I got. I wasn't greeted with kindness or openness at all. The wifi password is nowhere posted. I did not mind the gray tank emptying, as I saw others post, but it did drain slow and back up. I was more disturbed by the line of people blocking the way out when trying to dump the waste tank. And the fact that my husband was asked to move his truck because, even though it was off the road and in front of our travel trailer, in our camping spot, they did not like where it was. Not a bad camp spot, as far as actual camping, but everything else could be improved.

It's clean and quiet, they have a nice little playground and swimming pool.they have a small laundry area for camper's only. They had a wagon ride on Saturday.

Beautiful trees, friendly people, very nice clean showers and pleasant walking. The power grid was struggling in the summer heat and we had our surge suppressor cut power in multiple brown outs.

Last stop on a 7,000 mile road trip and was our favorite park. Great sunsets every night. All the facilities are well maintained and kept clean. Free wifi (that actually works). Free laundry. Great walking trails. Amazing staff who are always buzzing around the park working. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Like this place. The owner and staff are very down home and helpful people. i really enjoyed the personal service and the natural wooded campground vs all the professionally designed and manufactured sites. The only things I would change is the slick bottom in the pool (It is hard to keep one's footing.) and a site closer to the front.
This is a great place to really be camping in the woods!

Tina and Jim are great folks!!

I can see why they call it Tree Haven, beautiful, quiet, relaxing, friendly place.

Very nice campground. First time here. Will definately make a it a stop on our way cross country each year. It is about 10 miles off the highway but it is nice to not hear road noise. The wifi is not great but that is fine for 1 night. Picked up many channels on antenna. Owner and camp hosts are awesome. Very happy.

Went to see how much it had changed. Alot of new sites. Limited over nite. Waiting list for seasonal. Saddened by the fact we were not well recieved not greeted with a smile at the gate. Once we made it to the office the lady there shared a smile.

We had a great time this past summer while visiting tree haven camp ground enjoying cold beverages, food and listening to local live entertainment with our friends and family! Nice place to wind down.

We stayed at this camp grounds for 3 months during the summer of 2018. We were in the process of buying a new home So tree haven became our home for the summer. We met many wonderful people there, the management was very helpful and worked very hard to provide activities and improve things around the campground. We stopped a year later and found many of our friends still there. Great place with lots of activities, nice pool in children's playground.
Alyssa Rotselle
The pool had a lot of bees and the basketball hoop fell on us but it was a really fun experience lol. The playground was nice and I also have a suggestion, could you maybe make the gravel a little less thick because we could ride our bikes on it that well. We liked the pull through spots that we got and we made freinds with our neighbors that got kicked out of berkshire because they yelled at their neighbors for letting their kid drive their golf cart into a tree 😑
John C Kendall (Chasing Trails)
The location is fantastic as it is close to everything you may need while your hear yet it is remote and quiet (except when the Amish are working on the pole barn!)
It is clean and well run and all the facilities work. Even the pool is nice. However, beware the “C” section as the sites are very narrow. Ours has a 50amp service but it is barely wide enough. If another RV occupies the space next to us we’d be able to touch it! Also, if it rains many sites do get flooded. The owners are very nice and the staff professional.

Quiet and clean campground! Had the entire pool to ourselves on a Saturday late afternoon which was surprising!

Great experience!! Came in later on a Thursday office closed at 5pm but they stayed open and waited for us until 630pm. We were told we would have to call when we arrived but they were waiting in the office. Very friendly!! Older gentleman and lady were working in the office the whole weekend we were there. Very helpful!! Reminded me of grandparents. Campground is VERY QUIET!! We got back one night at 11pm. Our 2 small children (getting slap happy from a full day in the sun) were the loudest people in the campground. Clean bathrooms. And wonderful clean homey showers. Not cement filthy bug infested showers. A stand up shower you would have in your home. Washer and dryer at campground. Pool was very clean. We will definitely be back again!! Very very happy!!

I’ve been seasonal here for 2 years now. I absolutely love it. Management is amazing. They don’t handle any BS. It’s a gated community, very well taken care of. My parents and I have been able to do a lot to our site and make it nice and cozy. Most of the campers are friendly as well.

Our first trip to Tree Haven Campground will have us coming back again!! We had a great and memorable time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the kids loved playing at the parks offered. It was a bit too chilly to open the pool, but we suspect we would have enjoyed that too. The trails in the woods were a hit for our older children who spent most of the weekend exploring! Sites are great size and seasonal campers were very friendly. Thank you Tree Haven for a great Holiday weekend!!

Nice but the vibe was odd. But would definitely stay again if I ever pass threw.

We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was very nice and super flexible. Peaceful (many seasonals). Some sites in gorgeous trees others in more open area. Looks like they are putting some updates\investment into this older private campground. Free coffee and free popcorn in the camp office (very small little store with essentials if needed, drinks and ice creams), craft on Saturday (no charge), breakfast for Father's Day on Sunday (no charge). Minimal wifi near camp office. Super cute little pool - very well maintained with new patio furniture and beautiful landscaping. Curb trash pickup before 7pm, gray water drains and water at each site. We came in late Wednesday night, no issues... Left late Sunday due to the convention we were at in Columbus, no issues. Nice playground and volleyball net and horseshoes and basketball court. The bathrooms are interesting, running water, but RV toilets (?). Showers are nice, separate from bathrooms, but good warm water. If\when we come back for the same gaming convention in Columbus (only 30 minutes away!) will likely stay again! Thank you for your hospitality!

We love this campsite. After spending sometime here we decided to become season guest. We leave the camper here and just come out whenever we want. I love the new automatic gate so now I don't have to get out to open it. It also has alot of security cameras so I don't have to worry about the camper. Best of all the community is absolutely the Best!

Tree Haven is a very good name for this place. Maybe the most wooded campground I have been to. Friendly staff, they pick up your trash and deliver your firewood. Nice pool. Water at the campsites was very irony but in the showers it was good. Lots and lots of permanent campers. The trail to the creek and picnic area was overgrown and really just muddy ruts through thick woods. They had a nice fathers day breakfast and kids crafts plus kids bingo. Tiny but nice camp store. Some of the camp sites are the largest I have seen. We will be back!

Home away from home.
Seriously, Tom the owner of the facility is just amazing. He keeps this place well taken care of. If ever an issue he is on it. This place is a go to place! Theres a pool plenty of parks for the little ones. Showers that look just like your house showers plenty of restrooms and even a place to do your laundry free of charge. Ive been here two weeks in a tent. Had our tent burn down and they were right there to help us. This place is a really great place to vacation at either seasonal or over night. I plan to come back here and plan to bring others with me along with spreading plenty of word of this place!

I stayed here for 3 months during a travel nursing job in Columbus. Tom was the nicest and most accommodating host I could have asked for. I was brand new to the RV life and he helped me every step of the way. I slept during the day and he made sure it was always quiet around my site (No mowing, emptying my tanks before I get in bed). The campground is clean with nice bathrooms, showers, and laundry unit. Awesome pool, playground, horse shoes, basketball, and a huge club house to fit a huge party. When you stop by, tell Tom I said, "Hi!"

We are seasonal campers here and its a really nice well taken care of campground. Ive been at a lot and this one is reasonable and friendly. Past 2 I felt like I was in prison of a demonic Dictator . This place is great very clean nice clean pool great trails for golf cart or walking .

Campgrounds are often pretty boring and tend to look like an empty field with boxes planted about however, Tree Haven actually lives up to its name being well covered by beautiful old trees that not only offer much needed shade but they also create a feeling of privacy and comfort,
Also notable about Tree Haven Campground is the fact that the park sits well off of the main road which provides a quiet stay with no loud truck or auto noises to pester you when trying to relax or in the middle of a nights sleep.
On the technical side, Tree Haven Campground offers modern and clean hook ups, is easy to navigate your rig through with ample turning lanes and as an added bonus they provide free WiFi to their guests.
If you are seeking a pleasant, comfortable camping experience then I highly recommend Tree Haven Campground!

Very quiet with some spacious, level, dry lots (but those lots apparently not available to weekenders); our lot flooded to the point the fire ring was surrounded by water, and the electric pole was in standing water (and electric kept going out.). Our lot had trash strewn around. This place has the capability of being a Very Nice campground with some rewiring, septic updates, and possibly new management/ownership.
loretta skourn
the campground are beautiful and clean, but the manager he is the most rudest person . I don't think he likes kids. I was here 4 years ago had a great time, the new manager must hate kids or forgot what is like to be a kid. he called are kids names there use to be activity for kids there is not anymore. so if you have children don't go there all I can say is they need to get a different manager. not one that is to lazy to have activities
Mr. Not Sure
Great place, it quiet enough and from what I understand fair on there price if you want to lark your camper here. The pool is small and there is no shuffle board but all and all an alright place.
Brian Lincoln
Awesome campground and friendly staff. Close to shopping and parks. Very clean. Great for seasonal or just an overnight stay. Plenty of activities for the campers. Would recommend staying.

Tree haven camp grounds is a great place.they take good care of it. The people there are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Considering the situation with civid19 we had a great time.
Diane Tellez
Been coming here going on 5 years and we love it. Spacious lots (love that we are not packed in here like sardines), great neighbors, friendly staff, and love the quietness. I suggest you try it once and you will come back again. Especially if you hook up with us. LOL

All I can say it's an awesome place! Beautiful grounds and great people....if we are ever back this way we will be stopping for a stay!!!
vickie johnson
My husband want to say that everyone at the campgrounds were very nice. We were surprised to say the least, as we've had a site at another ground years earlier and they were extremely rude and unfriendly for the most part. Go to treehaven and have a nice time.
Cory Griffiths
This is a well kept campground with all the normal amenities. EXCEPT a real sewer hook-up. They do have a guy that comes around once a week to pump your black water tank; they supply a rigged up sewer pipe cap that allows grey water to run-off (actually into the ground)...not the best situation but not a deal breaker. Awkward semi-private shower house.
craig barger
Great family environment friendly staff and very spacious lots. Doesn't feel like a made campground, feels like your in the woods. Would highly recommend
Mark Taylor
Nice quiet campground ...appreciated the gray water disposal so we could enjoy the shower in our motorhome. We were visiting family in Westerville and the campground location was easy to go back and forth.
Derek Brooks
