Nice, clean park with an aquatic center a short walk away (we didn't go, looked nice tho). Majority of the sites are in grass and are pretty close to one another. They do have some gravel sites that more spacious. Staff was nice. Short and long term available. Dump station on site, free if staying and a fee if not.
Kathy Smith
What a nice city park! We stayed in site #55 (electric and water). It's a spacious site with a gravel pad (almost level) and plenty of grass and trees around the site. We would camp there again for sure!
Steve Briggs
I like this place quite a bit and this is the first time I have ever been here they only have 3 full service sites. All the rest are water and electric. I'm coming back next month.
Zachary Burcham
Great park in a very cool town. We camped with an RV. Sites are set up buddy style and a little narrow but you have lots of space to the rear of each site. Short walk or drive to several dining options downtown. Shower house is clean and nice.
Dan Stowell
Humongous Park you can rent out space to park your RV you can actually camp in a tent. They've got baseball diamonds and a public pool at one end. Such a pretty setting. Super old trees lots of fun!!!
Tresa Minthorn
Very relaxing comfortable place. Pets ON LEASHES welcomed. Very nice bathrooms with shower room (no washer/dryer) electric and water included on most sites. There are a few spots with full hookups, and do have dump stations. Has a shelter house and large gazebo with benches.
Steve Mumma
Beautiful campground with lots of open space. Bathrooms and showers are clean and fully functioning. The staff is incredible! Happy to help with requests. I was in a jam with items I needed to print and they and they saved me. I wanted to pay them and they asked me to pass the good deed forward. 5 stars and a 10 out of 10!!
Elizabeth Church
Very reasonably priced drive through RV campground in the middle of a larger park! We stopped for one night with our two dogs. It was a little drive off I-70 but is totally worth it!
Tim Carroll
Hope they have the Blue grass concert this memorial weekend. Last year the talent was really good.. Enjoy many quiet picnic lunches with my wife at this park. Nice walking trail and very clean restrooms.. Plain City does a great job maintaining this park for the community. Play groud equipment offers lots of fun for the kids and grand kids. Thanks a bunch to the people that make this park possible!
Soni Avey
This park had several nice seating areas and a water fountain that also served pets. There was play equipment for the children.
Jim Gorsuch
Had a great time here during the Miami Valley Steam Thresher show in July.
Sheryl Burnette
Nice quiet RV park. Only negative is that we had a lot of rain/storms our first night and there was a lot of standing water through out the next day. Could use better drainage for campsites. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.
Jeni N
Surprised to find this gem! Not a lot of sites with sewer, but quite a lovely park as we were passing thru....
Athena Baltzer
My first time ever going here was for the steam show. I really enjoyed the show and the park.
Alan Bell
I visited the Miami Valley Steam Threshers Association Show at Pastime Park in Plain City, OH.
Gary Carpenter
Could be a nice rv park if they didn't pack you in like sardines no parking for second car and no one on staff at when there's a problem
Sharon Murnieks
Clean restrooms very nice.
I would not recommend any spots before #33 as they are very close together. Not enough room to open both camper awnings if two campers are facing each other due to where electric outlet are.
Douglas yoder
Was here for the Miami Valley Steam Threshers show. Lots of fun. Well organized.
Nice place.
Josh McKeever
Great and underused hidden gem in Plain City. Has a pavilion that is able to be rented. Playground was recent redone before COVID, so it is all still very new. Only negative is that the excavator is now missing, would love to see this piece come back.
Jennifer McAfee
Stayed here for Nike Cup for soccer. Very nice campground. Family oriented and smaller in size. Excellent shower facilities. Quiet setting. Would definitely return!!
Susan Mansfield
Absolutely lovely park. Super clean, nice shower house. Great playground, beautiful pool. Really enjoyed our stay. This place is a true gem!
Mandy Cain
Park is a safe place for the kids to play. 2 playgrounds and a pool. Do not have to be a resident to go to pool. Rates are listed on the web site. Never used the camping facilities but they are always full.
Zman Jace
Pastime park is a fine little local park.the recently renovated pool and volleyball are nice addition and there is a nice picnic area for outdoor summer parties. If you're up for it, there is even a fun little disc golf course running through the park. It should be noted though that pastime park is more of a small fairgrounds with park additions than a true park and it is set up with that in mind and it can get a bit swampy in areas with rain. A great place to go when you don't feel like making the drive out of town but want to go outside for awhile.
Tiger 7100
Went there many times, they have a nice pool near, they have a play ground. It’s a big area.
Kevin Matz
Very nice campground, very clean bathhouse, one of the shower heads needs replaced, ( clogged from water sediment), quiet and roomy at the RV sites. Only downer was the typical Ohio spring weather but that’s not the fault of the campground.
Jennifer Fisher
I love the playground at Pastime Park next to chillicothe street. The upgraded the playground equipment right before the COVID-19 stay at home order. They included a Inclusion swing for little kids with a disability. Thank you so much for including this into our community.
Jeff Trzeciak
A really nice quiet place to camp. I had reserved a grass site but when we got there the ground was still muddy. Met the caretaker and he was very helpful. I went up and asked to move to a gravel site. No problem with changing. The lady in charge is a dream to work with. Very thoughtful and cheerful. The utilities on the gravel site were close. We were not used to the mosquitoes however. Had a rain storm and the motorhome was covered with them under the canopy. I guess they rest in the grass. Spent 2 nights there and will definitely be back.
Ashley Fagan
Nice campground for families. There is a nearby pool and admission is cheaper if you have been camping as well as a nice park. Bike trails, disk golf. The camp site comes with a fire ring and picnic table.
Douglas Faiella
The staff at Pastime Park were friendly and helpful. We arrived the morning after the area had 2 inches of rain the night before. Given that the sites were grass and dirt, our reserved spot was muddy with puddles of water. After talking to the Park Director, we were able to choose a new site on higher ground for our 8 day stay. For days, the staff worked hard to get the Park in a more suitable condition. I gave the Park a 5 Star because of the hospitality and concern demonstrated by staff for our inconvenience. It is a beautiful park with mature Oak trees for shade. Costco and other major shopping is about 10 minutes away. Anywhere in Columbus is a short drive. Only negative was the WiFi signal was too weak to use. We will stay again.
Martin Cline
2021 EDIT: I returned recently and can say that the promised upgrades have been made. In the men's shower there are now individual changing stations. The grounds are well kept.
There are only TWO downsides to this place. First, it needs more full service hookups, and second, the noise from Rt42 - which is out of their control.
-
This is a public park which rents campsites also. Basically, it's a field with oddly spaced water and electrical taps. As such the "spaces" are highly irregular. To make it worse the nature oaks are sometimes in the wrong spot. For example, lot 17, which is my lot this weekend, has an oak in the middle. I had to snake my trailer around it! Luckily I have a small camper. I don't know what someone with a 5th-wheel would do.
While the restroom/shower house is newer, no thought went into its layout. For the men's the showers do not have individual changing rooms, rather there is one bench in the middle. No problem for me, I'm not shy, but ITS DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE DOOR!! So it's quite possible that any child who opens the door could see a complete stranger changing, and any girl who happened to have the right angle as well. Is this really how the citizens of Plain City want their children introduced to the naked body?!
There are mature oaks which provide some shading, hence the 2 star rating. US Route 42 is near by and provides constant vehicle noise. The sites are all grassy as mentioned but are also pitted with ankle breaker holes that are easily missed.
Hannah Showalter
Fairly priced campground for basic W/E amenities. If you are there on a full weekend, be aware you will be PACKED in in some of the sections. We were on site 5 in a fifth wheel. Nice playground and grassy areas!
Ohio Fulltimer
My wife and I are Fulltimers and love Pastime Park. It is convenient to Dublin, friends and family, and other interests.
The improvements and expansion made recently, have made this park a cozy, comfortable park to camp. Always quiet.
We have enjoyed watching some little tikes play softball and baseball. We will be back next summer😎
Austin Abbruzzese
My kids play ball here they have such a great time
brad mitchell
A little bit of peace and quiet close to the big city in plain City they close getaway if you need a little peace and quiet not to mention the all Ohio Ford show that's put on there every year
Dana Canfield
Nice little campground. No attendant on the weekend, so couldn't buy firewood. Hookups were oddly located for our trailer - needed an extension cord to reach the electrical. Bath house seemed to have been newly renovated and was in nice condition.
Terri Berryman
Love this park, even though not full hookup
gwen campbell
Very nice park, we will be here for a couple of days. Good tv stations, WiFi,bathrooms, level spots with fire pits and tables!

This was our second time visiting Pastime Park and although it is very pretty with the trees and grass, there are no sewer hookups, however they do have a service that will come and empty your tanks on-site for $10. Check with the office on what days he comes. My main complaint is that the entire park becomes swampy when it rains. We have a 43' very heavy 5th wheel towed by a long bed Ford F450 dually and when I checked our site it was surrounded by standing water and mud on the sides. Knowing I would have difficulty maneuvering into the site I looked around to find a more suitable site that would not require me to drive on the grass. I called the office and left a message that I was moving into a vacant site, more suitable for my big heavy 5th wheel. As we started to set up, the camp host showed up and said we had to move as that site was already reserved. At this point the park was not even half full and there were plenty of other gravel sites available. I asked if they could simply move whomever they had scheduled for that spot and give them my old swampy spot as I was sure his rig was not as big as mine and definitely not as heavy. My GVW is almost 27,000lbs. They we unwilling to do that because there was a group of 4 RV's going into the adjoining sites and they wanted to be together. I explained that what is the difference if one is across the narrow road no more than 10 steps away. They wouldn't budge. I tried for another site and nope, they had someone coming in for that one. All of the RV's that came in stayed 3 or 4 days and were gone and only 2 or the group of 4 showed up at all. I begged them to give me a different site and warned them that if I was forced to go to the original site, there was a high probability that I would get stuck in the mud. We stay here because it is the most convenient campground to our friends that we visit when in the area. So, with no other choice but to leave andvtry to find another campground over Memorial Day weekend, even though there were 2 ideal empty sites for my large heavy rig, they left me no choice. So after warning them again that I would probably get stuck in the mud, I attempted to back in to the swampy site and sure enough, got stuck half in and half out of the site. Fortunately, with the help of another RVer, we were able to get out of the muck and then after a lot of manuevering, successfully got into the site. We stayed 6 nights and during that time our site was surrounded by low lying water causing swampy conditions. Every time I had to walk around the rig on either side or the rear, my feet would be in a couple of inches of water and often, mud. They should have temporarily closed that site as a safety and health hazard. Low lying water attracts mosquitoes.
If you stay there when it's dry, it is a quiet picturesque location. If it has rained a lot, stay away from Lot 50 and understand that if you don't like the site you are assigned, you are SOL.

This is a rather small local park, with some permanent structures. It is a typical park with nothing special about it. I attended a small craft show here. The show wasn't very successful for most of the venders. For the public, there weren't very many actually handmade booths. A good part of the booths were selling commercial products of chain manufacturers, like candles, jewelry, or soaps

At Pastime Park for the 48th annual Miami Valley Steam Thresher show. Great time watching lawn tractor pulls - ate great food at the Lions Club restaurant. Later got a big cup of French fries heaped with salt and drowned in apple cider vinegar. $5 for a one day armband. Can't beat that for a day's worth of fun.
Chris Bloomfield
Nice city campground with water and electric hook ups and Wi-Fi. Busier on the weekend and Wi-Fi was so so then, but during the week it worked better. It was quiet at night with just a small amount of road noise. The manager of this camp is super nice.
Joshua Fraley
Beautiful park with camping and baseball. How much more American can you get? Great disc golf course as well!
Ann Hurst
A nice quiet park. There is a small water park in walking distance and the town is a short bike ride away. The spots are level. Well be back.

There are some things I dont like that they did but other then that I would recommend this place. The things I didn't like where that they decided to mow the grass at 8:30 in the morning with really made me mad. And that there are no sewage hook ups which are the only things I didn't like but they were big things.
Chris Hallock
