We camped at Hamilton Branch State Park for Memorial Day weekend; 05/26/17 - 05/30/17. This is a BEAUTIFUL, peaceful park with spacious, lake-side sites. Even though it was a holiday weekend, we never heard a peep from those around us. So far, this is my favorite park for camping.

Sumter National Forest is a beautiful place to visit, hike, explore, fish with excess wildlife including whitetail deer, turkeys, wild pigs and tons of small game and waterfowl

Amazing place. So peaceful. Nice to bring your dogs for a walk, or just walk the paved track yourself. Many people forget that SC does have Revolutionary War involvement. They do a great job here!

Get out and enjoy nature. It's free. Plenty of places to walk/ hike. Most of the area is flat so the walks are more enjoyable. Bring bug spray and be mindful of hunters during hunting season.

I've camped several times in this forest, both on primitive campgrounds and dispersion camping. The forests are beautiful, and the rangers are friendly and helpful. For dispersion camping there are some regulations you need to follow. There are black bears reported in the area however we have not seen or encountered any problems from them. These forests are beautiful to both drive through and camp in.

What a pleasant place to pass through. We enjoyed the local hospitality so much we are planning a weekend trip this fall. The views are out standing, especially being a hobbyist photographer.

I absolutely love going to this park mainly for the fishing and sightseeing there are countless things to do around here. I definitely recommend this place or anywhere in this General location do you wish to have a great time with your family

Clear water, open spaces, turtles all the way down. Beautiful Wild and Scenic River. Please help keep the litter out and the goodness in. Sumter NF is a natural wonder.

Was a little outta sort getting use to the surroundings but staff was friendly and helpful. The family had a great time.

They were very informative and they have a lot going on there. Hiking trails, ATV trails, waterfall trails, shooting range. I will be going back....bringing friends. Looking forward to some hiking to the falls.

Went to the Indian Creek outdoor firing range. They have really improved the entire site. The range itself has been cleared of a lot of trash. Anew berm., etc.
