Reviews of Barnyard RV Park
Had a long pull thru site with FHU + Cable TV. We are full-timers who travel with with no children or pets. Our site C-6 was long enough to accommodate our 35ft travel trailer + crew cab pick up without unhooking. Site was not level side to side and someone had hit the water spigot, so it was leaning. We were parked on gravel with a concrete pad for the picnic table.
Didn't notice any noise. It was blazing hot and we ran our AC all day & night. Tree didn't provide us any shade.
The RV park is amazing. Full bathroom, shower and laundry. Pull through sites. All connections including cable. Wifi was good enough to allow me to work everyday.
We were in the area and needed to dump. We paid 10$. Everything looked well kept and the dump station was in good working order. Friendly office lady too. We would stay here if we were in the area.
We always stop here when we are headed to GA, AL, or MS. Easy to get to from I20 and I26. It's clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. Pull through sites at the front of the park are good for overnighters. FHU, cable and wifi, and good Verizon signal too. Sites are mostly level. We have had to use levelers on one side of the camper, just due to the ground being a bit packed down from all the camper wheels.
Nice place not the cleanest restrooms, not very good with coordination with the sites. Had one for 2 days and had to move when we decided to stay an extra day, when we told them we may need 3 days they said no problem but made us move.
The price was really good. I REALLY would love to go back and stay for a three-day weekend to enjoy the flea market!! My kids enjoyed the playground and the duck pond. It's a HUGE park.
Quiet, Clean RV park. I have been staying here for 3 weeks There are 2 laundry buildings. Washers/dryers are only operate with coins, but it has been always clean. Office staffs are very kind and helpful as well. There is a retention pond has lots of turtles and fishes, I feed them everyday. It is fun.
This is by far the best RV park we have ever full timed. Christina and her staff are absolutely amazing and the maintenance of the park is just shy of perfect. Any problems that arise, there is an answer. Also the prices are unbeatable given the perks. Looking for the best RV park around? It's right here at Barnyard RV Park for sure!
Very clean parking slots. Wide enuff so you're not on top of each other. Friendly staff. Nice greeting. A different than you would expect location. Not difficult to get to. Nice and quiet. Highly recommended!!
My family and I stayed at Barnyard RV Park for a couple of nights on a recent trip. We liked that their were 2 sizable flea markets and a lake in close proximity to the park. They had excellent wifi. The staff was both friendly and helpful. The only cause for concern was the sewer port for the gray water hose needed to be replaced bc it had been run over by previous site users.
We were staying at Barnyard when hurricane Ian hit. We were supposed to go to Myrtle Beach after hurricane, but rv park there didn't know if they would be ready. My husband talked to the office at Barnyard to see if we could stay a little longer if necessary and they said yes that they would work things out so we could. I will definitely be coming back.
Paid $34 for a single night stay after our Good Sam discount. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Level sand/gravel site with plenty of room to maneuver on the roads and on the site. Not too close to our neighbors. We were one of the front sites (B2) but didn't really have that much traffic past us.
There was a bit of noise from airplanes passing overhead throughout the night, but it didn't really bother us. It's a little ways off the freeway but not a bad drive into downtown. About 30 minutes to the Congaree national park so we made this a central location to check out a few things in the area.
Small campground. Not much to do here. Not exactly a nice area. If you come for the flea markets you are in luck.
Stopping in for one night. Easy to find. Very nice park with level lots and full hook ups.
A pleasant, clean campground. Stayed here for a week. Close to anything you may want to do.
I like the Barnyard....but with a 45 ft motorhome need a site in Row A...or it's difficult to get in some other rows with the old broken concrete patios...that are actually positioned for years ago....the location is convenient, as we unhook to go to our favorite restaurant
An amazing little city RV park. Given that it's a city RV park, the spaces are farther apart than one might expect and are all shaded. Many sites are pull through and sites offer electrcity (50 and 30 amp), sewer, water and tv cable. The bathhouse is very clean with nice showerheads and lots of hot water. I felt very safe here. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There seemed to be a mix of full timers and travelers. There is a well stocked camp store; fast food and a grocery store are within easy walking distance. This is not a vacation, 'get away from it all' campground, but a great option if you are passing through and/or just need a place to stay while in Columbia.
We just stayed overnight. This was not a very good site - all gravel and dirt where there should have been grass. Although a lot of the sites were pretty nice. Overall, an attractive park Good customer service and pretty good value for a FHU pull through. Long enough site, so you shouldn't have to disconnect.
Good park for price vs. amenities. The pull through sites are 80’ or longer, gravel/dirt and with good spacing to your neighbors. There are many trees spread out around the park providing a nice amount of shade, but we were still able to connect our dish. The park has the typical showers, bathrooms and laundry facilities. The location is convenient to the main highways and just a few miles from the SC campus and the main downtown areas. The main downside was the nonexistent wifi, but that is more than offset by the very reasonable nightly rate. See our full reviews and pictures at our blog at thegilliamsisland.
Very nice place to park the RV. Pull in, hook up and enjoy. The weather was nice and the location is close to shopping, if need be.
This is a nice, simple campground. The sites are level and large enough for big rigs. There are trees a plenty. The staff is friendly.
Truly a delightful place! My nephew is in the ICU in Columbia, I had to very unexpectedly and immediately find a place for not only my own but also for my sisters RV as well; Christina went so far above and beyond to make it so and has continued to find us a spot for a month now! And she did it all with a smile! That’s not just service, that’s priceless! The park is small, well kept and very reasonably priced. There are several folks who live there full time, each of whom stopped by at some point to offer their prayers and to see if there was anything they could do. Do not hesitate to stop in 😃
We full time and are here a few times a year. This location is convenient to Lexington it Columbia. Full hookups and pull through sites are available.
Cable, laundering, good wifi and cellular are available. Also I was a big fan that we could get mail delivered here.
If I had a critique to share it would be some guests who don't pick up after their pets and there are remnants of this on the grass along the side of the fence facing highway 1.
Overall we have enjoyed the consistency we have received while we stay here.
Clean, quiet RV Park. Level parking pads, we have a 40 ft DP with a 24 ft trailer and both fit on the space without unhooking. Mostly packed sand and some grass on the sites, concrete pads with picnic tables and very good water system. Some of the best tasting water we have found in any campground! Great office staff, public restrooms and showers are very clean. We will be sure to stop here again when passing through the area.
Quiet spot with full hookups including cable. Restrooms and laundry are clean. The nicest office we've seen yet, with some items necessary for a good experience available too if you happened to loose or forgot to bring something. Most of the regular sites had (maybe all) room for even the largest RV, plus tow vehicle, plus a visitors vehicle. Convenient to the barnyard flea market, restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. Located in between downtown Lexington and Columbia. A very convenient stop.
Pleasantly surprised! Would prob go with 4.7 for 2 reasons...no firepits or garbage pickup from the site, but this was a nice place. Luckily, we had a propane firepit & mild weather. You really get some bang for your buck here @ about $40/night. This is a super clean park full of pull through sites with full hookups located right outside of Columbia, SC. We went for a night to see a concert. The sites were quite spacious. Didn't notice if all had them, but most seemed to have concrete patios that leave plenty of grassy area for your dogs to do their business. Nice l'il dog park & kid's play yard as well. Super friendly staff, too. And bonus...you can walk or drive right over to the outdoor flea market. Totally forgot to take many photos, as we just enjoyed some family time!
Called at last minute and Barnyard made room for us.
Very clean and quiet campground. Very welcoming host. Will return.
Nice, clean, level lots with full hookups for a reasonable rate.
Great prices and beautiful location. Great for a quick stop or hang out for a few days.
Great place to camp! They have daily, weekly, and monthly rates. My husband is working out of town and been here for months. Office staff is friendly and takes care of their residents. There are showers and a laundromat on site. $1.50 each to wash and dry so $3 total, never have to pay more to run dryer extra it always dry clothes for the $1.50. Very happy staying here. Neighbors are nice and look out for each other.
What a great park. Large pull through. Lots of shade trees but still able to use sat dish. Very friendly and pristine clean.
Nice campground. Level sites, big rig pull thrus and very good bathrooms. Would recommend this place. Right next to the Barnyard weekend flea market.
Very clean park with large shadey lots and nice staff.
We stayed there one night as we were passing through. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lots were level but narrow. You step out of your rig onto a concrete slab and the picnic table is right there. Not much room but it served our purpose. The Park is basically what we call parking lot camping not real spread out but the nice and unique thing is there are a lot of trees which is very appealing.
The front area is the place to be, as the back portion appears to be all full timers and there are many units that I was wondering how they were still on 4 tires. But that's only if you choose to walk down to that area. All the Lots are separated by about 10 yards from each other. Seems they recently added a retention pond with a dock and sitting area very nice.
All in all it's a nice campground and we will stay there again while passing through.
Great place to stay nice sites will stay here again
Has full hookups, was only there for a sleep over stop, but price was reasonable and they fit us in.
The RV park is quiet with very friendly long term people who know their way around and were helpful. The flea market was your average flea market which luckily had vendors that sold everyday supplies at low cost as my husband somehow got a rash from sumac...not at the rv park. Showers were hard to keep clean as the park was very busy. The water pressure was great. The rv park needs to have more amenities like a pool or hot tub. There also were no fire pits. It was not bad but it could have been a little bit better with added amentities.
This is not really an rv park. Like a lot of campgrounds these days it has mostly permanent residents. It is very neat and clean but the trees overhang alot of the sites so they hit your rv when you park. There is no way to avoid it. It also advertises cable but there is none. However the price is good and okay for one night. Just hope the tree branches did not scratch our rv.
Very clean showers and bathrooms,as well as the grounds. Very nice people. Was full most of the times we were there. Quiet and peaceful! Easy to pull in and hook up! Shade on most of the sites.
Stayed there for two weeks. Very nice park. Very clean restrooms, showers and laundry. Plenty of room between sites and they were all level. Park was quiet. Plenty of things to do. Flea market, close to gas stations, food, and supermarket. Dog park and workout room. People are very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.
Large pull through lots. Very nice setting. They even have a huge duck pond to watch. The location is perfect for a short stay if you’re passing through. Gas station and Grocery store within a quarter mile.
Very clean and maintained. Late arrival in a 30' Motorhome with 2 adults and dogs for 1 nite. Had pull through full hook up and Wi-Fi, which is a plus. Nice amenities: dog park, clean large bathrooms with showers. This is definitely an RV Park, not a campground. Sites are very close together so you see and hear your neighbor from inside your camper. Seems to have many residents. Complaint is noise. You hear everything even with quiet hours in place. Didn't sleep well.
Great place for the night, central location. Everything clean and neat. Next to the flea market. No amenities like a pool.
We have lived here for the last year. It's a great place to call home. Your neighbors look out for each other and are super friendly. We will definitely miss living here. Lot rent is affordable and the bathrooms and laundry are nice. Staff os awesome as well and always make us feel like family.
Great stop over! Affordable, well managed, easy access from the highway and in the park, sites semi level with table and grass all pull through, cheap laundry rooms- $1.50, cable, pond, pretty friendly, convenient location. Full-timers towards the back and travelers to the front of park, quiet with the exception of an occasional train during the day mostly and in the distance, didn't bother us. Didn't use restroom or showers.
This place is really nice, it is so relaxed, and a quiet place to stay, and on Saturday and sundays the flea market is in front of this place, at the flea market there are always people making good deals
Cost, amenities, location give this 4 stars given the rates charged. Full time park residents going 20 mph plus through here, and dog pee on my tires detracts from 4 stars. As well plenty of dangerous dog breads around. While on leashes few of the owners appear to be capable of controlling their dogs if needed.
Barely any road noise, everyone seemed respectful as we walked the grounds. Sites are dirt that could benefit from smoothing, and better yet crushed rock base. Laundry rooms were spacious.
Good wifi, VZ 4G, and cable are a plus. Good proximity to shopping, and Congaree NP. If you're here over a weekend the flea market next door is a fun time.
We stopped for overnight. I found the staff to be very friendly both when I called to make a reservation as well as at check-in. Good rates, the interior roads are newly paved, sites are long and fairly level and easy to get into with a bigger motorhome towing. Utilities all worked well. Not a luxury resort but a nice clean campground. We have stayed here before and I would stay here again.
Absolutely, great park! Access from interstate was perfect. Check in was easy, and people in the office were very nice. Park is well kept. Plenty of room at our site. The ducks in the duck pond were fun to watch. The pond was very clean and well kept. A new deck had been built next to the pond. Definitely would stay there again. We camped in a 5th wheel.
Stayed for one night as a stopping point. Nice park, clean individual bathhouses and duck pond that the kids enjoyed watching the ducks and turtles at. About a mile and a half off of the expressway. Lot was a pull through and appears a good amount in the park are. Was completely booked and no vacancies, so I would highly suggest reservations.
Just stopped in for an RV Dump. Paid only $8, good price. Met with receptionist Tonya at the office. Tonya was very friendly and helpful. She shared about the proud history of Barnyard RV Campground and its repeat and satisfied campers. I look forward to long-term camping there some day.
The best in Columbia area. The park is located right between I-26 and I-20. Just note, google maps will take you off the interstate I-20 and try to bring you down back road. Just stay on interstate to hwy 1. Shops and restaurants within 5 miles all around. Downtown Columbia within minutes and easy travel. Christina in the front office has been extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs. Shower and laundry facilities very clean. Showers are nice and updated with superb water pressure. Laundry facilities accommodating with more than 2 of each appliance. When traveling thru, will stop again. Note... make reservation.
I was hesitant to book 5 days here after reading the reviews. We're glad we went. Summer at the front office was great. We never had any problems with any of the residents or staff. We were in an area with some of the permanent residents and they were great! They were very friendly and I actually spent a lot of time talking with them. We were there on a football college weekend and it was filled to capacity. Never did we feel crammed in our spot. We had plenty of room around the Rv and it was level. The flea market was nice to walk around on Saturday. A couple miles from interstate 20 and not too far from downtown or Lake Murray. We have family in Lexington and we will be going back to Barnyard whenever we're in town.
2 months traveling. Roughly 2,000 miles. Nicest overall campground so far. Level lots. Plenty of room. Accessibility outstanding.
Spacious. Clean. Pet friendly. Nice staff. Beautiful domestic geese pond where humans may not enter to use pond. Phenom flea market next door. But no fire pits and not having a fire pit to sit around during the evenings dampened my holiday. Only for lack of fire pit, only four stars, and we will not return as fire pits are part of the camping experience for my family.
This place was great! The spaces were large and it was relatively quiet. The neighbors were nice. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot! This location was great for going to the Forks Area Trail System for mountain biking and also for seeing Congaree National Park! I highly recommend it!
Great campground a few miles away from I20 and I26. When we arrived, it said no vacancy, so it's a popular site. Yes, we had reservations. Cable has 60 digital channels, and the wifi is fast. Our second stay in a fifth wheel.
We love it here. It’s quiet and clean and not at all what we expected. We just got a used rv and had no experience with any of it. The only rv parks we’d seen were on tv and not portrayed in the best light. Our experience was the complete opposite. We met very nice people from all walks of life. The park is safe. We stay in the weekly lot and never felt like we were in any danger or had a reason to worry about our car. The bathrooms were always clean and the showers worked well. And the on site laundry was so convenient.
Comfortable place to stop when traveling through. Many of the amenities have had significant upgrades over the last several years.
They advertise level sites, but they are not. We have a Class A motor home and tried two different spots and could not get level even on blocks. Many of the other Class A motor homes were on blocks or had their wheels in the air. Lawn maintenance was poor. We were there two weeks and although they mowed several times, they missed many spots and did not trim, so we had knee-high grass all around the motor home. Otherwise an OK place with an interesting flea market next door on the weekends.
Reptile city was great. Purchased a Pac man frog. Reasonably priced and definitely knew what i needed to get for him
Not bad but there are better options. There is a flea market next door which is cool. People next to us had bikes stolen.
I keep my RV in storage there. I am in and out of there a couple of times a month to check on my RV.
It is always clean and well maintained they do have a dump station and I have seen at least two trash dumpsters.
The people in the office are always very friendly and if there is a problem with something they will get in touch with you.
it does appear though that there are some pool timers living there probably construction workers and such.
I have a friend that is a full-time rver he and his wife are retired, when he is in this area he stays there and he would not stay somewhere that is not reputable.
My husband and I traveled across Georgia and South Carolina on our way to Darlington. This was by far the nicest RV Park we stayed at. Here’s what you need to know: spots are large pull through, full hookups including free cable TV (lots of channels), centrally located laundry facilities, nice people at the front desk, multiple discounts offered (I.e. AAA, military, etc.), grocery store packaging store and restaurants within 5 min walk, quiet, nice neighbors, and if you need anything for your RV (hoses, cords, basic toiletries, snacks, etc.) they have it for sale in the office. Can’t say enough good things. Oh and there’s a flea market on Saturdays and Sundays on the grounds - 1 minute walk! We will be back - thanks for everything!
This is close to many of the shopping options in the area. Nice, unassuming and quiet RV park.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Clean park. Nice spaces, mostly large pull thru. Our 33 ft class A fit very good. Nice playground. Wi-Fi works great! Highly recommend!!
Only stayed 1 night. Rained heavily the day before so was a little muddy. That was the only downside. Did not use any of the facilities but they seemed ok. Reasonably pricing. I would stay here again.
Very nice, clean park, easy to get to, park camper. Pull through sites make RV traveling a breeze
This campground is very clean and really well kept! The lots are large and have flowered trees, it's beautiful. I would come back again!
Pulling in here was a breath of fresh air. We only stayed for one night. Super long pull thrus, wifi, cable, nice sized yards, decent dog park. Would definitely stay again
Great layout. Food on site with plenty of restraunt and vending to keep you hydrated.
Plenty of tables and vendor are out to sale so the tables are always full with plenty of new items to have fun browsing through and to by. The guys there work their butts off to keep it looking great and always clean restrooms. Love its all under shelter, so come rain, hot sc sun, its always comfortable to walk aroumd and bring the kids to. Lots for them also. The have vendors set up every week end to cater just for them. They wont get bored. So i definitely say get out and come check it out. Great place to come, walk, when youre not sure what else there is do to . Brimg mom, dad, get them out the house. Spend some time and they will see items from their past to present. They will love it and love that you thought about them.
Nice campground. Long waiting list. No campers more than 10 years old. Clean.
Great place. Clean, quiet we come once a year just for the flea market. Most not just someone else's junk. Lots home made items. Convenient to grocery store, restaurants. Very nice pull through spots. The owners care. Lots of nice improvements since our last trip.
Nice RV park, big rig spaces are numerous. Water, sewer, 50amp and cable. Reasonable rates...
Clean laundries and bath house... Everything else is nearby. (Barbershop in walking distance)
I recommend this Park - Good Sam affiliated !
Great place for temporary or permanent living. Free cable TV included. There is free wifi but only in select areas near office. Has Spectrum services for only $44 a month though at 100Mb/s. Lots of room and parking. Has dog park and kid parks. Right next to skating rink and flee market. Has sports complex, gas station, grocery store and plenty of restaurants in a half mile radius. Staff very friendly and courteous!
This is the second time we've stopped here.
Staff very polite, sites level and place is clean. Definitely a keeper.
Don't know much about the park except it's right next to the flea market, which is probably one of the best ones around
We love this RV park. We have our RV home parked in their locked storage yard and move it onto a lot when we come to W Columbia. The office folks are very accommodating, the laundry and restrooms are clean, and the spaces easy enough to pull through with a large RV.
Very clean. Large sites most shaded very well. And near enough to attractions
We stayed at Barnyard for three days during the weekdays, after leaving Florida, heading to North Carolina.
The park is very clean, crew very friendly. The park is quiet and peacful. We had a great stay.
We would stay again if were were in the area, and would highly recommend it.
Thank you Barnyard RV Park
Easy to find about 3 miles from main highways. Spacious sites. Quiet atmosphere.
Well tended campground with pull through sites and full hookups. ONLY negative is lack of grass for our pups to potty in (a small thing).
Great place to stay. Lots are spaced so you have room. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
This is a good park. The stay was 3 days in February 2019.
Clean facilities
Nice staff👍🏾
Multiple laundry and trash facilities
Well maintained streets
*Meeting and fitness room*❤
The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because the wifi would never connect.
Easy drive thrus except #5&6. Great staff all r friendly and acomidating. This place might be busy with the Flea Market going. Suggest you plan ahead for weekends here. Suggest the Lizard west of cg for eats
We stayed here for approximately 3 months because we were relocating to this area and were looking at houses. It is conveniently located in the middle of everything, yet Barnyard RV Park is a very quiet and relaxing place. Care is taken to locate the 'monthly' and 'weekly' residents away from the traffic of the 'overnighters', so you won't be bothered by RVs coming & going any more than necessary. Even still...the sites are roomy& laid out in such a way that pulling in and out is a very quick & easy process. Sites have cement patio pads, a picnic table, and are also grassed & landscaped with shrubs & trees for shade & privacy. Very clean sites & well maintained grounds & roads. The people who own this place really take pride in it, and it shows!
The bathrooms & showers are very clean & in good repair, and are for residents only. They have plenty of hot water. Handicapped accessible..lots of room. Shower chair available. That being said...if they put in a handheld shower wand in the handicapped stall just for people who can't stand up for a regular shower...that would be great!
On another note...The LAUNDRY center is great! Plenty of newer machines & they are maintained well. Laundromat is very clean. Prices are very reasonable. $1.50 to wash & $1.50 to dry. There is a duck pond located near the laundry building...so save your stale bread & while your clothes are washing you can wait on the bench & pass the time feeding the ducks!
Office staff are very friendly, professional & helpful.
I would definately recommend Barnyard RV Park to everybody!
UPDATE:
There must be about 20 dogs in the park, and their owners easily manage to keep them well behaved and quiet, even on walks, while playing with them, etc. The park is immaculate because owners are required to pick up after their dogs & they all do because there is a fine if they don't pick up the first time & they have to leave if there is a second time. In 3 months I was there...I never saw even one dog poop on the ground anywhere. No problems with dogs at all.... EXCEPT for one irresponsible couple at one site who were oblivious to their 2 poodle dogs barking constantly. Good news is that noise complaints to the people who run the park do get taken care of, and they left.
One more thing....PALMANO'S...THE BEST ITALIAN RESTURANT IS LOCATED RIGHT NEXT DOOR! If you like REAL NY Style Italian subs, chicken parm, etc... You have to try them. It's a small family place...You can eat in or take-out...dining is street casual. Great people. Their meat all sub had huge handmade meatballs and real provalone...not the 50/50 junk like chain pizza places use. Everything is fresh. If you order the Meatball Sub...make sure to ask them to add roasted red peppers...you will be glad you did.
Very nice, sites are very large and long. Only stayed one night, but will definitely stay here the next time we travel through. We have a 40' motorhome with a tow car. The site was 90' long!
Really clean & nice campground. The staff is friendly & helpful. The shower house & laundry are clean & well kept. The only drawback is there isn't a pool if you want to swim.
Very nice site size, plenty of room between you and others, sites are very level and easy to get into
This place is very well-kept it’s in a nice neighborhood you feel safe here. The Lots are nice size. The staff was very accommodating we were evacuating from Topsail Beach North Carolina. I highly recommend it. Thank you. I will come back just for the flea market.
Always accommodate our needs. When a site has broken concrete and we wanted to move so our visiting grandkids would be safe the gladly move our spot ...park has been refurbished on the grounds and it looks wonderful .. great place for our grandkids to visit and why we come there to stay. New deck for duck and turtle viewing is awesome!
Very nice park with a friendly staff. We stayed one night in a 40' motor home. Large pull through spot. Very quiet park. We would return if ever passing through again. Thanks for the cable splitter!!
Love feeding the turtles, catfish and ducks at the pond
Moved here from MA and making the park our home
Great RV park. Extremely clean and feels safe. I appreciate the laundry rooms which are only $1.50 per load.
Started with one week, ended up with three, due to work changes. Extending was easy with the pleasant woman at the desk. Easy parking, Lp fill on the way out. Would return.
Manager seemed very nice and helpful. Nice RV park for your normal RV location. Rates are very good along with our Good Sam discount.
Barnyard RV Park is a neatly-kept park, and very affordable. Their sites are level, graveled, and long enough to accommodate even large rigs. There is not much shade on most of the sites, and the sites are about average in width.
Because the park is not adjacent to I-26 or I-20, it is not noisy due to traffic. The area where the park is located has some places to fuel, and a few eating establishments nearby. The park amenities are quite limited, and the only wi-fi available is in the park office itself, which is quite inconvenient.
The park is co-located with Barnyard Flea Market, which I would presume makes it fairly busy, noisy, and crowded on weekends. We stayed there on a weeknight.
Generous sites. Easy pull-thrus. Quiet.
The site layout, ie utility placement & patio, is really designed more for trailers & 5th wheels not motor coaches. But it is a nice park.
We only stayed overnight, but really liked the place. Huge sites. We will put this on our regular stops list when traveling.
Even if I was homeless the attendant would give me the shower code so I could take a shower and get back on the road for free very very good service and I will be coming back again hopefully with the RV and my kids to spend a little time and some money for these people that did something for free for me great place five stars all day.
Stayed there for two nights while in town for a baseball tournament. Campground was very clean and convenient to nearby stores. Bathhouse was one of the cleanest I’ve been in.
Nice place. Very clean. It is right next yo a large flea market that is open Friday - ,Sunday. The one down part is there is no fire pits/rings for that camping feeling.
Never have openings, even Good Sam members can"t get in short ot long term. Long waiting lists.
Wasn't for us. We are more of a state park kind of campers and these spots were very close together. Great for passing through but you won't see me there again. Internet was spotty at best.
Nice open sites. Concrete deck. Lots of space between sides. Bathrooms in front are cleaner than the ones in the back. Convenient location to shopping.
Great place to stay! Rates are fantastic! The office folks are friendly and helpful!
Amazing little find here! Friendly service, nice and level campground, great office space to get some work done and SPOTLESS bathrooms! Best thing though it the price!!
We always stop there on our way south and north via Columbia, SC. Good prices, clean and rather spacious sites. Pull throughs are exceptionally good as compared to most pull throughs we have witnessed. Excellent flea market next door on weekends and local restaurants are quite good. Do wish they had free wi-fi for at least one night.
Great campground! Cable TV, limited Wi-Fi, but good cell signals for hotspot. Convenient location to tour historic Columbia or to enjoy Lake Murray and the Town of Lexington. Convenient to many restaurants and shopping, and a grocery store is within walking distance. Spacious pull-throughs with good outdoor space, and they are level, too. Laundry and shower facilities in very good condition and clean. Since we have family in both the Columbia and Lexington areas, this is our preferred campground for visits. Remember though, USC Gamecock home football weekends will be booked up. Make reservations far in advance of any Gamecock sports events. The flea market adjacent is lots of fun on weekends with some great finds.
Love looking at everything, sooo many things lol, a negative no fans, it's hot and you will sweat! Ladies forget wearing makeup or heels, keep it light and simple and oh yea bring something to wipe the sweat off 😂😉 …

I love this place and the stalls are always full with diverse buyers and sellers. Have bought and sold there with pleasant experiences. I have not gotten their service dog policy as pets are banned by posting.
My husband and I have always used your facility while traveling in the area. We really appreciated your service and business. Give your facility the highest rating. Like the up grade in the RV Park. Thanks Again.
