Reviews of Waterfront Park
Nicholas TorresAn awesome space to enjoy the sea, and appreciate the outdoors. There is wheelchair accessible parking conveniently located to the beach and docks. The socks are at a convenient angle so they should be okay to go down with assistance. It is important to be careful for ice or wet surfaces as it can be slippery. It is still a beautiful sight to see and enjoy from the pier. It was all wonderful to see and experience.
Nova VoidI lived by the waterfront for almost six months out of my life when I was homless, I tented there.
It's beautiful and the waves from the lake are really nice at night. You can see the most glorious sunsets and beautiful full moons here, a perfect place to have a moment to yourself at night. My puppy experienced her first snow here, as a rescue husky. She adored it^^
Its kinda busy during the day in the summer, but after the sun sets, its one of the best places to have some time for yourself. A good place to take a walk or go to the beaches in the summer-
Make sure to only go on the beaches though!!! The rocks close to Echo have a lot of zebra mussels, so be careful.
Philip YazbakLovely park with a great view of Lake Champlain. Great place to walk, run, bike, have a picnic, read a book or admire the lovely view. I enjoy walking here year round!
Andrew KimballGreat scenic spot! Nice walk around the park with some cool sights in the park, a pretty sweet skate park (which I'll absolutely be going back in the summer to hit up!), swinging benches to have a seat on, and of course all the water views of the whole shoreline! 😎👍 …
A MWonderful spot to spend time by the water. Great food selections nearby and don't miss Jazz fest and other events taking place here. Incredible place to watch a show!
Daniel MillerWe were here for the 4th of July fireworks. They were some of the best fireworks I've ever seen. It was absolutely packed. There were plenty of food vendors available and Porta-Johns. The town of Burlington did a phenomenal job with the police escort of the city buses back to the university where we parked. We made it out of there in a half an hour after the fireworks ended.
AndrewVery nice to meet with the staff on the lab. We loved having the opportunity to work in the church. Absolutely stunned by the fact that the condition of that house was not the only thing wrong.
Melissa AnneCute little walkway and green area/park along the water. Benches dispersed throughout. Nice place to sit and eat a pre-packed meal. Bathrooms nearby on the pier, as well as a restaurant or two. We paid $10 to park in a lot nearby, which didn't seem unreasonable. I was able to easily get my dog down to the water so that she could take a quick dip to cool off. Nice area.
James FleurIncredible view of Lake Champlain. If you are ever visiting Burlington this is a MUST. If you want to take the experience to the next level, go during sunset. It sets across the lake over the mountains. Unbelievable place to get lost in thought, or quite the opposite, and meditate.
Yari “Yari” ZelinkaThe most beautiful bike path. We both agreed that this might be the most beautiful path along the water. Yo un can connect with the Colchester Causeway Trail it was just breathtaking.
