Reviews of Red Rocks Park
Travel Girl
Pretty spot. We took a trail down to the Lakeside and walked up the beach a bit until it ran out. Make sure to wear a bug repellent if you plan on going off the path or through any brush as ticks are very prevalent in the area. It was a nice, shaded area with a lot of walkers. We didn’t explore too much, but what we did see didn’t seem really like a hike but just more like walking trails. Very easy-going. Mostly shaded and a popular place. There was plenty of parking the day we went.

Our favorite place to come for hiking or a walk along the beach. I grew up here as a child on Pavilion Avenue and this was my backyard. Lots of good memories coming back here. The trails are absolutely beautiful here. There are plenty of places to stop to overlook lake Champlain.

Red Rocks Park is a pretty short hiking area. It leads to a few nice overlooks of the lakes. There's moderate inclines for short periods of time. Overall very nice and some spots are near silent.

Beautiful park, great place to spend time with your family or pets.
Love the trails and open access to the lake. Amazing views and nice place to enjoy autumn foliage;)
Parking space is limited tho. Up to 30 cars max, parking is usually packed.
Lack of garbage cans so make sure you bring some bags to wrap up your stuff.

Excellent park with many small trails. Good for dog walking or taking the kids. The trees are very tall so it stays cool all day. And the views from the shoreline are beautiful. Will return again for many more walks!

A beautiful little park that doesn't have too many trailhead markers, so I recommend photographing the map at the entrance. Beautiful getting to the coast in the early morning. I have gathered it is NOT SAFE to jump off the rocks, some have died.

I found this easy hike to be well groomed and kept, with wide trails, multiple routes, loops and scenic moments. I however, was surprised to find the restrooms closed for the season by mid August.

Nice easy walk for families with young kids or dogs. Early morning was quiet, but parking filled up quickly.

Well maintained hiking paths that are clearly labeled. Various parking options, clean park, multiple hiking paths, and a lovely uncrowded sand beach.
My family will definitely be back.

Beautiful walk through the trees on a dirt path with gorgeous views of Lake Champlain at the end. We were there on a Friday afternoon in July and there weren't many people. We had most of the trail to ourselves.
