This place is super Peaceful during federal park hours. During the day it's one of the cleanest and most tended to parks in town. It's usually (not always) very clean and on average it's very devoid of Needles or other disgusting and disturbing that would interrupt family visits to the park. Features and Pros available in this park: full sized play sets on a wood chip playground, Open areas of grass with trees scattered sparsely, and a kids water park style play area (No lifeguard on duty), Tennis and Basketball courts and a few public Gazebos that can be used for hosting events with or without reservations. I encourage anyone to check it out it's a great place! Cons: some homeless people may be loitering here, food will attract bees in the summer (not many, just enough to warrant caution for those with allergies) All in all 7/10 recommended especially for local residents.

It was a clean park but didn't offer much to do there really. It does have a tennis court though and it had a decent little playground for the children. I personally didn't like that out was so close to such a busy road. If you do end up taking your kids just be mindful there's no barrier between the park and the busy street nearby. I would recommend North Park for families though looking to have a get together.

If I was too had first had given this park a review when I got here .It would of been 1 star you have to commend the police they have been cleaning up the city they need to put a curfew on that alcohol unless you got money to gamble then you dont need to drink .Make it to so you cant get even get beer after 11pm at the gas stations by then you should of had it. This will cut down all this senseless driving its the reason this park had so many homeless people drunk sleeping and killings and robberies in this city. The state is part responsible for the problem this will get people cleaned up and teach them to drink resposibly.

This is a great park with nice grass, tall, full trees, and good play equipment. But there are so many transients roaming everywhere and bedding up for the night. No one gave us troubles, but we were in a big group. I would hesitate to go here alone during the summer, especially in the evening hours. Thus my rating reflects this problem.

Nice park with plenty of mature trees, shade and in an older neighborhood. I recommend visiting this park during the day as it's dark and sometimes has a rougher crowd in the evenings.
