With limited staff, it is hard to get a lot of time to swim but when you do get to swim, it is very nice. The water is warm, the pool is clean, and the lifeguards are doing their job as well. I feel safe and I am going to be a regular visitor every season. Thank you Brandy and Ian, and the rest of you guys for being there everyday. May I suggest giving your hired security guard more hours and a bit more pay to encourage him to stay a bit longer? I wish you guys were open until almost dark, cause sometimes, I don't get to swim because I don't get off work in time. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to all who work at Candler Park pool.

Went to play tennis, but all the courts were full. When in the tennis 'cage' and just hit balls off the wall with my 9 yr old. Nice man (Fred) came over and gave a few tips to my boy...❤️

My favorite Subway. I always go there last minute as they are about to close (yep- THAT guy) And they are always welcoming. I work late and this is one of the few places that stays open till 10. The young man is very upbeat, professional, and polite. Whoever owns this franchise should be very proud of his staffing. Oh- and it's Subway, so you know what they serve. But rest assured this establishment is well run.

Just went to an arts festival here. Nice spot and well organized. The whole place seemed like fun. Hard to say how it is outside of festivals but it was more spacious than I expected. The lawn and playgrounds were well maintained. Looking forward to coming here more

The updated bathrooms in the park bring this from a 3 star park to a 4 star park. This park has it all: several pavilions, tennis courts, basketball courts, play ground, golf course, swimming pool, a good amount of parking for it's size and a big field.

Small park with two tennis courts, pool, pavilion, and public golf course. Not the type of park to go for a long walk, mostly serves the residents of the nearby neighborhoods.

In the heart of the wonderful neighborhood you find candler park. There a community pool, playgrounds, pavilions, woods, and even a golf course. The park hosts a great festival , ecstatic dance, and movie nights. Great place to picnic and in walking distance of several local restaurants and a great market.

I love Candler Park! It's big, green, and has great walkways. The walkways that start in the park continue as part of the Peach Path which runs through much of Atlanta and along Freedom Parkway. I enjoy this park because there are lots of trees and lots of interesting areas to find some space to enjoy some city green space. The other thing I enjoy about this park is the little swimming pool, the golf course, tennis courts, and basketball courts (bring your own equipment for these as it is just the court available). If you live in the area I highly recommend walking over to get some outdoor air and vitamin D!

Great place to hang out and enjoy nature. Unfortunately there were no bathrooms available for all the people that were there. Men it is easier to piss behind a tree then it is for a woman let alone if it is a small girl. OPEN THE DAMN BATHROOMS UP AT THE POOL.

Great park for families and pups. A lot of social activities that are city led are closed however families in the community get together for recess. A lot of dog owners meet up so the four legged friends can socialize outside of the dog park as well. Remember folks. Masks up!!

Excellent park, but do be careful of the invisible speed bumps, when riding a bicycle. The good news is that the restrooms are finally open!

Love the park, you can play golf or take the kids or your dog and strolled Woods. The pool is really great to. Really family friendly. It closes at Labor Day. The pool is open most every day of the summer and then only opens on the weekends during the school year until Labor Day when it closes

It's a nice long par 3/4, which is very close and inexpensive. With Covid19, you now have to set a tee time and pay online. The last three holes are hills. We have fun every time we go.

I have been to the kids playground and it's great, features toys for different age groups and has several benches for seating and picnic tables. I would like to know more information about the pool opening day, times, price, etc. There was nothing on the website when I looked, and there was nothing by the pool fence / entrance neither. Also, there are only two swings for school aged kids, away from the main play area, which seems unfair compared to the several baby swings available within the play area. Overall is a nice park, even without restrooms available.

This park is a sleeper but coming up with its revitalization plan. Been sunbathing, playing with the dogs, swimming, exercising, concerts, drinking & getting high, etc. here since 1988. A lovely place. Its history is as rich and dysfunctional and its future tends to be peace and progressive. We love it here.

This park Is really big! The playground looks a little old but my 3 year old loves it. They have a pool, basketball court, and holes for golf. It's in a really quiet neighborhood, we love it!! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this park. So beautiful, clean, and the surrounding neighborhoods are even pretty to look at. I did not see any trash and everyone who was at the park were support friendly and respectful of others space.

I actually love and adore this park. My boys love the playground. We've had birthday parties here. We live down the block. I only wish there was a decent bathroom. Put a spade in your playground bag!

It's a wonderful park near Druid Hills Golf Club. Very shaded with Trees. Swimming pool, playground etc. Convenient location and parking area! Kids enjoy it. There are pavilions and shaded picnic areas as well. Be prepared to stay a while.

Not the most beautiful park around, but appreciated nonetheless. It has a pavilion and some picnic tables. The pool is great in the summer, and there's a popular kids' play area. More of a neighborhood park versus a destination park.

4th of JULY Festival! Great fun, then severe weather with torrential rains and lightning!!! Then, they brought us back for the fireworks!!! Best fireworks I've ever seen, and they had A DJ playing along with the fireworks for an ultimate experience! Got a little scary, my daughter was terrified for a bit. But in the end we will NEVER FORGET IT!!! And we are all safe!

Well manicured and boasting large oak trees, this is a delightful park to spend some time doing absolutely nothing. It's not quite as crowded as other parks so maybe better for a little privacy but you'll understand why it's not as packed when you visit (just not as spectacular as other parks in the area.)

Lovely park no real parking available. Not far from the Marta train station in the area. Decent amount of space in the park event area, but the land is down a hill, so people have to enter a walk into the park on a decline.

Great park, it features a golf course, various playgrounds, a pool and tennis courts. Also an open green space many use for organized sports and games. Parking is plentiful on the weekdays but can fill up on weekends; street parking avaible. Also features access to the PATH trail which connects to the Beltline, great starting point for a bike ride. Bathrooms on site but locked during non-pool hours.

This is the place I go to play tennis most often. The courts are a bit worn, but they're still perfectly usable. Trees do dump a lot of leaves, sticks, and acorns on them, but that can be brushed off or played through most of the time. The nets have been replaced recently, and two of the courts were repaired and improved a bit within the last year or so, too. There's lots of parking nearby, so even when events at the playground or activity fields attract a lot of people, there are still usually some spaces open. The best part of Candler, though, is that there are some very friendly local regulars who play often. This does mean that the courts get a lot of use though (especially on Tuesday evenings), so depending on how many people come out there can be a long wait to get a court.

Very pretty and good facilities. Went there to play tennis and the courts were great. Saw a lot of people enjoying the picnic area and the golf range as well as playing in the actual golf course.

Had lots of fun with the family at the pool BUT the pool is not that clean and the restrooms/shower rooms ARE BEYOND DISGUSTING it smells so horrible it makes you want to throw up the minute you step in it feels like if you touch something that chunk of your body will fall of, spider webs and bugs everywhere dead and alive 😷 sanitation is def. Not a priority.

Great service! Friendly, accomodating, really care about customers, the deli is good and accomodating for dietary preferences. My only complaint is the deli sometimes skimps on the amount of meat in a meal. Been going to this spot all 28 years of my life.

I like the park well enough. Not that fond of the sign about the “history of the African Americans” from the neighborhood. It’s worded as if we are extinct. WE STILL EXIST!!! Other than that the park is nice.
