I wasn’t sure what to expect coming here as a friend decided on the meet up spot. EVERYTHING I tasted was absolutely delicious. I had a boozy burger that was perfectly cooked to medium, super juicy and tasty. The side of smoked cheddar Mac and cheese was amazing. The Fries were cooked to perfection, perfectly salted and seasoned. Lastly, we ordered the bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream. THIS IS A MUST!

The Boozy Pig is a hidden gem. It's a small but cozy place that is both restaurant and butcher shop. Seating was open on a first come first serve basis and there is BYOB allowed so if you'd like to have a beer, bring your own. Our server was very welcoming and made us feel at home. During brunch I had the Back to Bed which was amazing. The dish consisted of cheddar biscuits topped with collard greens, chorizo sausage gravy, and a fried egg. Their Cuban sandwich was also one of the best I've had in a very long time. All of their ingredients are fresh and immediately noticeable from the first bite. We heard they are going to start serving dinner as well this month (August) and I cannot wait to be back.

I’m so picky about burgers and loved this one. First of all, I want my burger to taste like delicious beef, and this didn’t disappoint. I requested cheese on the side (for my salad) and they were happy to do that. The two 4oz patty’s are a little odd to me.. I’m not sure why they don’t just do one 8oz, but it’s all good. The brioche bun was toasted perfectly. The burger was cooked perfectly. The salad was very fresh too. My favorite burger in Tampa now that Boca is gone.

This place is a hidden gem. Been there twice now for lunch on a weekday & then brunch on a Sunday. Just outstanding food. Also this is a BYOB setup. So, make sure to bring your 6 pack ;) Food is absolutely amazing. I ate the Sicilian sandwich & back to bed from their brunch menu. Both left me wanting more. And, yes the chicharon are good too.

A must try on your next drive down Dale Mabry hwy. The food was amazing, the service was wonderful. Their selection of butchered meats was great, they have amazing beef jerky! They also have several other little things such as spices, eggs and dairy, even kimchi! So so good, if I could give them 100 stars I would. I made it a point to let our waitress know that I’m not a fan of sausage but their breakfast Cuban with pork sausage was actually amazing! Cute little place with rustic farmhouse decor ☺️

A Cafe con leche, Sicilian in the South, Breakfast Cubano, and tallow fries for brunch had us full until dinner time! 2 thumbs up and double high five for a local butcher and restaurant who offer their community top notch sustenance using quality provisions from Florida ranchers and farmers.

New around the area (south Tampa ) and was on the hunt for a meat market that had “ thick cut “ bacon after about 3 dead ends , I came across this establishment and was greeted with delight . Proceeded to get 6 strips of thick cut price amounted up to $12.68 was surprised at the least . I prefer quality over quantity and so I made the purchase , with a couple of other items to try out . the quality of the items purchased did not let me down . Thank you !

This BYOB butcher shop / restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I have visited before but this time I decided to try out their new breakfast menu. I ordered the Hand Pie: Braised beef shank, caramelized onions, balsamic glaze and the Breakfast Cubano: Choice of chorizo, turkey sausage, or bacon with scrambled eggs and Swiss cheese on pressed Cuban bread. I chose the chorizo and since it came straight from their butcher shop, the chorizo was so fresh, not super oily and absolutely delicious, filled with flavor. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts of visiting. The bar area is very well made and it's perfect to bring a group of friends for wine and charcuterie. I love everything about this place. Come visit!

Food is delicious. I’d suggest getting a soul food recipe for the greens though. It had no ham hock in it, too much vinegar and not well done as it should be. Consult a black cook for the greens lol.

Love! The Boozy Pig! Great selection of meats and condiments! Amazing breakfast and lunch menus that are constantly changing. Custom cuts from the butcher and some amazing beef jerky made in house. Enjoy a unique breakfast with local cuban coffee and when they open their doors they are ready to serve. Friendly staff with a clean comfortable environment, restaurant does have limited seating but i have never had a problem with wait time for food or seating any time my gf and I have visited! I have been multiple times and will continue to show support for this establishment but today was my 1st visit for breakfast and the Bay area needs to know about his gem! 5 stars all around!

This place is amazing. Its been on my list to go to for awhile and finally I stopped in for break. I had eggs, bacon and potatoes with some coffee. The food was amazing and the service was also great. I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch items and maybe by some meat to take home. I think Andrew, Jessica, and the rest of the Boozy team do a fantastic job of raising the bar here in our pocket of Tampa. Combining old standards with family recipes and modern tastes, the eatery has some fantastic options at a good price point. While the butchery prices may cause initial sticker shock, it’s important to remember that the food behind the glass is pasture raised and locally sourced. Those aren’t just buzzwords here, folks. The food goes from the farm to the cutting table of the boozy pig. No middle man, no sitting on a truck traveling hundreds of miles. That also means you’re putting money back into your community AND the food you are getting is fresh. In other words, you’ll be eating the best pork chop you ever cooked for yourself.

This was our first time here and we loved it! We had the Chicken poutine, that delicious & moist burger & their AMAZING bread pudding. Now the bread pudding was truly amazing! I have had my share of bread puddings and this is by far the best bread pudding! Sorry y’all I didn’t snap a before picture but it was surprisingly delicious! I could write a whole paragraph about its taste and texture, but go for yourself and try it out! Also I’ve never had beef bacon before and it was very delicious! I enjoyed it! Staff is friendly, place is nice, clean and unique. The food is amazing, only thing is we are not from the area so when we saw Boozy, we expected to be able to buy alcohol but its bring your own beer. Other than that, everything is excellent.

I really thought my friend said we were going to the Drunken Hog.... What an interesting place. A high end butcher shop with a attached restaurant selling their in-house sausages and meats cooked in new and classic ways. Always on the prowl for a good meatball, I instantly directed my attention towards that. The meatball sub did not disappoint. The Boozy Pig paid equally attention to the sauce and bread, as it did to the delicious meatballs. I can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a good meatball sub in Tampa. I did have my eye on their take on a Cuban Sandwich. Next time I'll try that and see how it stacks up to the likes of Michell Faedo and La Segunda.

Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!! Family owned and operated. One of Tampas best kept secrets. This quaint cafe and butcher shop has the best quality meat and sausage in Tampa. My husband and I treated ourselves to a couple of filets from the butcher shop that we made at home. We have traveled all over the world and have eaten some very expensive cuts of meat and I have to say these were THE BEST FILETS we have ever eaten bar none! Now we’re “regulars”. Oh also try the Breakfast Cubano (husbands fav) and the delicious pancakes and bacon (my fav). I don’t often write reviews but after you eat there you’ll see why I did for Boozy Pig! Enjoy!😃 and you never know when a Lightning player or two might be in there getting meat from the butcher shop!

Ordered the breakfast Cuban, the home fries and lemon ricotta pancakes. Service was quick, food came out fast and so hot! The menu had a big variety of things to pick from, wish I could try everything. It’s a unique place attached to its own butcher shop. I didn’t get anything for myself from the butcher side but I got meat for my dogs and treats for them.

Such a great spot whether you want prepared food off the menu, sides in the refrigerator, fresh butcher counter meats or all three. Can even get great steaks from the vending machine on the days they is closed.

Worth checking out if you've never been here before. On a Saturday around lunchtime don't expect a fast meal though. Expect to spend 45 minutes to an hour. Lots of stuff on the menu I wanted to try. I got the Italian beef for $14 and breakfast Cubano. I could get a similar size Italian beef at another place for $7. Both items were cooked well but they could use some flavor. I'd come again to try some different items.

Great food. I have not not had a meal yet that I wouldn't order again. The only downside is seating. People sitting at four tops with two people and the one two top table that no one wants to sit at by the entrance. Maybe re arrange the table, break the two pushed together for a four top when only two are it. Highly recommend it and get something to cook later at the house from the market. The burgers are great.

AMAZING! The food here is drop-your-jaw good. I got the breakfast burger and it was shockingly good! My wife got the knuckle sandwich - also delightful. The pancakes were very good, though I didn't drop my jaw on those. Maybe I was just full from the burger! Place looks unassuming but the food is incredibly good. I suppose it's a good thing I don't live close bc I'd go here every week and my coronary arteries would soak a bit too much up.

Absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a Saturday brunch and love the farm to fork concept where it’s not only a kitchen for dining in but a place buy meat from a butcher. Sourcing our foods from local farmers means fresh cuts of meat and in house prepared sausage/jerky that are provided to you with easy access in your own neighborhood. The cost was comparable, if not lower than Publix even. Not to mention they offer classes as well. Absolutely perfect opportunity to learn and spend quality time with your loved one or family. We will definitely be back!

Have ordered takeout and dined in and the service and food are AMAZING. Dare I say best meal(s) I've had in Tampa? Try whatever specials they have (had the jalapeno sausage and chili today). I haven't had a single thing off the menu I haven't liked (knuckle sandwich, specials above, burger, el mixto). Also picked up some dog treats on the way out that I'm sure my dog will love. Can't wait to go back and try brunch.

I went there for my first time and it was awesome. The food and service is great. I got the El Mixito it is there take on a cuban sandwich the salami you can taste it in every bite. My dad got a knuckle sandwich that was awesome to. It has something called beef bacon if you have never tried it it is awesome. I could not stop talking about it on are 40 minute drive home. They have there own meet there that they make and we got 2 pounds of beef bacon and sausage and beef snacks which are like slim Jim’s. This is my most favorite place to go. It is a little pricey but it is worth it. Oh and the really cool thing is that they have a meat vending machine it is awesome. I totally recommend going there.

We've been into the butcher shop several times and had wonderful, personable service from folks who really know their meats! Locally-raised, whole animal butchery is a cool thing to find in Tampa. Tried their deli for lunch for the first time and was more than impressed. Killer sandwiches (truly the best in the area). Oh, and BYOB! Can't recommend stopping in enough!

If I could give more stars I would! We had a private event for my husbands birthday. The staff is amazing. They text us days prior and gave us the choice to email in our orders with a link to their menu. Our guests loved that it was BYOB. The day of our event they kept our cake in the fridge. We love that they are so family friendly. So understanding that we had our children at the event. The food was AMAZING! The staff really went above and beyond. It was so nice to meet the owner. If you have not been here, do yourself a favor and go. I can’t recommend this place enough. The Boozy Pig is the perfect place to source a lot of local products, meats, and many other delicious items ranging from cured meats/beef jerky to bread pudding, all made in house . The staff is also very informative and helpful if you’re not quite sure what you want or how to prepare meats purchased. Not only is the butcher shop amazing but everything I’ve had in the cafe for brunch or lunch is delicious as well. If you’re looking for a place to do a small, quaint private event, this is also THE SPOT. They’ll take amazing care of you, your guests and are so easy to work with. There is so much attention to detail and heart/soul poured into everything they do, it truly shines through in the experience you’ll have and the food they prepare. I can’t speak highly enough about this local gem, the staff and the owners.

It's not inexpensive, but they are putting stellar, inspired food combinations on a plate, with an eye for maximizing beefy flavors. I had the knuckle sandwich, which was a special. It was a pressed sandwich, with shaved beef and smoked beef bacon. It was delightful. Waitress said they'd had such a positive response that they were going to try to put it on the regular menu. And the tallow fries...well, amazing. Afterwards we went and got a tomahawk steak to fix for my hubby's birthday, and the was a delight as well. I don't think you can go wrong here as a diner or a serious foodie.

Every part of this place is amazing!!! The butcher shop offers a variety of high-quality meat with a level of detail that can’t be found at a regular grocery store. Are you someone who cares about the provenance of your food? Is consuming ethically, humanely raised meat and dairy important to you? Look no further than the Boozy Pig. Andrew Tambuzzo has elevated and redefined local, farm-to-table offerings for Tampa Bay. His concept with the Boozy Pig is staggering: smoking and/or seasoning locally sourced, humanely raised protein; utilizing every part of the animal creating flavorful bone broth among several other items; and partnering with local purveyors. Think fermented tomato sambal, local Pumpkin Pie Honey and Queso gaucha. If you are a lover of Italian sausage, wait till you taste his grandfather’s 100-year-old recipe—it’s the best. My husband and I stopped in for the first time yesterday morning. Service was incredible from everyone: Oulani (?), Chris, and Andrew himself. Learning that I wanted to take home spicy Italian sausage, the team behind the scenes went to work seasoning and preparing both link and bulk versions for us. Run, don’t walk, to the Boozy Pig.

The Boozy Pig is absolutely fantastic. $12-18 price range (#worthit). Excellent service, warm staff. I wouldn't bring kids because, well, they don't need food this good. But also, the environment is kid-friendly if that's your jam. I'd say this is BBQ, but it's not... It's more like what farmhouse dreams are made of, like if Chip and Joanna Gaines decided to hand deliver you the perfect smoked meat sandwich. It's craft sandwiches, but it's not... Less of "what is this weird gray stuff on my cracker" and more like a world class chef decided to grace Tampa Bay with flavors only known to culinary students and pitmasters from Alabama. The vibe is chill enough for a date (don't bring a vegan or someone who wants to order a salad), but also refined enough for a business lunch. Also the jerky is divine. You should stock up and hand it out as presents. This should be the first stop on any road trip out of town. Or into town. Basically, I'm reworking my household budget so we can come here more often.

This place is fantastic! If you're looking for local farm fresh meats then this is where you want to come to. They get there all there proteins from local Florida farms. They butcher themselves and then sell it us the public. I love the selection they have and Andrew was super informative about everything they do. Don't hesitate to stop by. Boozy pig is a bit unassuming but their food is some of the best in Tampa. The El Mixto Cuban sandwich is the best Cuban I’ve eaten, and their brunch options like the biscuits and chorizo gravy are delicious too. Their vacuum sealed bread pudding is a great to-go dessert. I have not been disappointed with anything on the menu and I am excited to go back now that they have a nice outdoor deck for seating.

The Boozy Pig has so much to offer! Every week their menu has a few rotations so there is always something new to try. I’ve never had something I haven’t liked! I also enjoy seeing what is new in the meat case. It’s a whole animal butchery so every piece of the animal is used and not gone to waste. And it’s all locally grown! You know exactly where the meat is coming from unlike in a grocery store. The butcher is always helpful when I have questions on particular cuts of meat. I’ve always been satisfied with the fresh meats I have purchased. Family owned and everyone is super friendly and inviting! If you haven’t tried them out yet, you are truly missing out on this unique little shop!!

Talk about wow. Straight from the farm beef, chicken, pork, quail, duck and so on. 3rd generation butcher knows exactly what he's doing. Hands down the best selection of organic meats anywhere plus too many other things to list. AND they have a restaurant right where you can try some amazing breakfast items, sandwiches, etc. This place is a must for anyone who loves amazing fresh from the farm food.

I'm soooo happy there's a legit butcher shop near me. They have a map of all the farms they get their meat from, which I deeply appreciate because I hate eating big farm processed meat. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. One reviewer said the bathrooms were unkempt which I found to simply not be true. The entire place is extremely clean. I've eaten here a few times and everything was delicious. The butcher's board is incredible. Just go here and appreciate the fact that you're eating fresh, small farmed meat with knowledgeable staff on hand.

I went for the first time 3 weeks ago and have been back like 5 times. I've tried almost every sandwich, the poutine fries, and the Mac and cheese....and let me tell you they all SLAP! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, the breakfasts Cuban and mixto are some of the best iterations I've had! The pastrami is phenomenal....you literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

This is the only place my husband and I buy our meats and poultry from anymore! Just left with a bag full of bacon, jerky and a chicken they broke down for us while we waited. BP sells delicious high quality products from local farms and has some of the best customer service in the Bay. Get on in and pick up some meats! I am excited to have this place near my house. I've been looking for a butcher so that I can start buying better, more responsibly raised meat every now and then. I explained this to the guy working the meat counter and he was very understanding and found me a smaller chicken to fit my needs. Also, my mom and I split the cheese board and it was definitely worth the wait! You shouldn't order it if you're in a rush, but then again why would you hurriedly consume a cheese board? I can't wait to go back to try the breakfast and the meatball sandwich!

5 stars for some of the best meat heavy sammies in town. Haven't had anything from there I haven't liked yet but definitely get El Mixto your first time in. It might not be a traditional Cuban but its my favorite version of it. The meatball or steak are also good sandwich choices but I don't think you can go wrong. The people there are super nice and they have a butcher area where you can purchase some pretty awesome looking meats. Definitely recommend popping in here for lunch sometime.

Went to pick up to go items. Smoked meat smells good. I noticed they have a butcher shop connected to restaurant. Meat looks fresh in fridge. They also had olives stuffed with garlic (yummy). A must to go have lunch/dinner soon.

Come for the custom-cut, local meats. Stay for the fantastic food from the kitchen. Order yourself the Rocket Man sandwich (like a Rueben, but next-level, with house-made pastrami, and local kimchi) and while it's cooking, check out the meat case - if it's not in there, they'll probably have it in the back, or cut it/grind it for you while you wait. They also have stocks, tallows and demi glaze - all made from scratch, with care. Their house-smoked & cured meats are off the chain. The folks who work there are super welcoming and friendly. So, you know how you “upgrade” to Boar’s Head lunchmeat at the grocery store? These guys smoke and cure their meats in house. It’s like comparing a McDonald’s hamburger to the filet mignon burger at the Capital Grille. Get the pastrami, and pretty much everything else. The bacon is incredible. They also have house-smoked ham hocks in the back. I haven’t been able to find real smoked ham hocks in ages - most places sell “smoke-flavored” ham hocks these days. And that’s the meat counter. The restaurant side takes all those incredible ingredients and turns them into something even better. Even with the short menu, I’ll still have to go back twenty times just to try everything. The combinations might sound a little weird to the less adventurous, but somehow everything comes out tasting like comfort food. Pork fat ice cream? I didn’t know such a thing existed, and I haven’t left room for dessert yet, but I promise myself I will. Oh, there is a vegetarian option, a collard green sandwich. It’s very popular, and not as weird as it sounds. Sicilians have been doing it for over a century: scacciata con gidi.

Cozy, butcher & cafe with outside dining. The lunch menu offers a nice selection of hot and cold dishes. We ordered the bean & collards soup, Guiseppe Joe (sausage & peppers) and Sicilian in the South (pork and collards) sandwiches, and tallow fries. Everything was delicious.
