I thoroughly enjoy everything about Olivor Heritage. There's some amazing stories in other reviews, but John, his family and their extended family have always treated me excellent as well as others I've recommended. The quality of meat is outstanding, everyone I cook for makes a comment about the taste, marbling, look, or inquires where we got it from. I definitely do not mind paying a bit more for quality food that's going to keep me out of the doctor's office now and long-term, and the fact that it supports a hard working, friendly local family is just icing on the cake.

I bought 3 lbs of oxtail for around $37 and a dozen eggs which were $10. I haven’t tried either yet so the 5 star rating is based on the wonderful customer service. The two people working there were so friendly and helpful.

LOVE this place! I've lived in central Florida for 30 years and say I'm just now finding this place. Ate my first purchase this week....burgers and filet mignon and both were tender and delicious! (Eggs and butter as well) The only grass fed I've eaten before was from Publix and no matter how I cooked it, it was always tough. NOT HIS. I now have a standing weekly order that also includes dog food! You can't go wrong here, they have a customer for life. And....John and the customer service also get the 5 stars :)

Very nice little organic shop on a legitimate farm in Dover, FL behind the hillsborough fair grounds. The prices are a bit steep: $10/lb for ground sirloin. But the quality is far superior to store bought beef. The chicken wings are so delicious! The freshness is obvious when compared to even a green wise bought chicken. They even have homemade sausage. Stop by and get ya some.

I have some very serious food allergies so I had to visit the farm to to see how things are being processed. These guys are running a professional operation and they provide the freshest meat without any additional ingredients (in the packaging) like you find at the grocery stores, i.e-brine/broth. All it took was 1 order and I'm now a loyal customer.

Love Oliver Farms so much! First found them at Chuck’s in Brandon and then found out their farm was actually really close to where I live so I then bought directly from the farm. Everyone there is so friendly and goes above and beyond to help you find what you need. The quality of the meat is outstanding and at very fair prices. I love being able to support our local farmers while getting such great quality food to feed my family. I was particularly impressed with my last purchase when I was unable to pick up on the scheduled day, they were very responsive when I sent a message to reschedule a pick up and we’re very accommodating! 100% recommend checking them out, you won’t regret it!

The one good thing I received from the pandemic was discovering this gem! I've had product delivered for over a year now and I dont plan on stopping when things normalize. My delivery lady is the best! Courteous, friendly and personable. My favorite products are the brats and the blueberry maple sausage. But, truthfully, I have found no fault in anything I have ordered. Everything is top quality and delicious!

This store saved my life. No really, I am not kidding. I developed a serious chronic condition called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) were I have allergic anaphylactic reactions due to overactive mast cells. A trigger is histamine found in food. Histamine levels increase as foods get older but meat grows histamine much quicker than other foods. Therefore, I can not buy meat at the grocery store because it’s weeks or even months old by the time it gets on the shelves. I called the store to speak with Mr. John about the family’s owned business and if he was able to accommodate for freshly butchered meat then freeze it immediately for me. Turns out I am not the only customer he has that needs this sort of thing. When I first started coming here, I weighed only 107 pounds and now I’m finally back at my normal healthy weight. Regardless of my special requests, the store processes their own chicken and will sell them almost the same day! The staff is friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with what you buy. Yes, I know you might be saying “this stuff looks expensive.” However, this is pure meat without any of that “BIG MEAT” factory shenanigans. The animals are treated well, fed great, and taste amazing. When I eat their meat, I know what is going into my body and do not need to worry about ending up in the hospital. Instead of buying meat from a big meat factory, buy from this nice family owned place. You will not be disappointed.

I love Oliver’s Farms the meat is amazing. I trust this company because the foods are real. No chemicals. I can assure quality foods for my family. I only eat clean organic grass feed and grass finished. A great family business. The bison and the chicken is the best tasting tender meat. They work very hard to provide our community with quality foods. I love the chicken livers they are the biggest I ever seen. And I love his sister that delivers. Being handicapped it’s a great service they provide. Working a farm is a hard long day. I am very grateful. Behind every great man is a great woman. Happy customer in Mulberry Florida

I found this gem of a Small Farm Market about a year ago. Ever since I've been frequenting the location for some quality meats and poultry. I love the fact that I can get quick answers from them via Instagram about availability. I just cooked up some amazing Quails this Christmas I purchased. They were super healthy stock and came out amazing. I have to travel a little over an hour to get there but it's worth the trip every time. The store has always been clean. The owner and help has always been very nice.

I have used Olivor farms for for the past year and have not been disappointed! They consistently provide the highest quality at a comparable price point to what I would pay in major stores. I m so happy being able to support a local family business, that has always treated me well and communicated clearly. I love my monthly csa box and plan my menu around it!

First, let me say I FULLY support small farm businesses. We've purchased our meat from small family farms for some time now. So why 3 stars? Because while tasty, Olivor Heritage Farms' 90/10 hamburger is 80/20. To me this represents false weights and measures which I abhor. Sadly, we will have to grind our own or buy elsewhere. This addition is a response to the below owner's reaction to my honest review: I do not malign or make false allegations, but I do believe in integrity. It neither is my wish to hurt feelings, but hamburgers floating in grease does not indicate 90/10 lean to fat ratio. I'm not new to what constitutes lean mean. Perhaps you might consider a third party evaluation of the fat content of your 90/10 hamburger.

I’ve been shopping Olivor Heritage Farms for about two years. I’ve never been disappointed! The quality is exceptional, and so is the price. Whether I’m buying scallops and Tile fish, or pork loin and bison burgers, I’m always delighted! Recently, I was thrilled to discover an item from OHF on a menu in an upscale restaurant on the St. Pete Pier! I recommend Olivor Heritage Farms highly!

I've been coming here since he started a few years ago. John and his wife have always been super friendly, informative, and helpful. I appreciate everything he does and love the products that he offers. My husband looks forward to his home grown Thanksgiving turkeys and chicken wing specials! Definitely worth a visit!

We’ve been receiving a meat csa from this farm since last summer. All The meat has been delicious and fresh. John communicates with us for delivery times in a timely manner. We ordered and received a beautiful standing rib roast for New Years and can’t wait to cook it!!

It took me awhile to find this place. I have not bought meat anywhere else since then. John and his whole team are amazing. I challenge you to find better grassfed and finished beef. Even though Olivor Heritage farms only carries the highest quality meats and produce they have found a way to sell it for way less then Wholefoods or Sprouts sell their lesser quality meats. You become what you eat and I’ve became a better person because of John!

Oliver Heritage Farms embodies the heart and soul of a family owned farm. Growing up on the east coast of FL, our family business was citrus & we regularly would bid on whole calves when the local 4H would hold their annual auction. Where our food comes from, how the animals are treated, and how they are processed does matter. So far, every interaction with OHF has been friendly & fantastic. The selection & quality of their meats is bar none the best I have enjoyed from a private farm. We will continue to enjoy what OHF has to offer and we encourage anyone else to do the same. We love Olivor's! They're always friendly and accommodating every visit. We ordered the prime rib and porchetta for our Christmas dinners and they were delicious! They gave us cooking tips and instructions for the porchetta which helped so much for our first time. The food is always amazing quality!

I found Farmer John and his amazing family a few years ago. Not only do they have amazing products (you seriously need to try their ribeyes! And their chicken wings... oh and don’t forget the most amazing honey I’ve ever had. Hell- may as well try it all because it’s ALL amazing) but their family friendly environment always makes every trip enjoyable. Now I’m craving a Olivor Heritage ribeyes. (Goes off to place order).

LOVE shopping here! I was packing a cooler of meats to take to Tennessee and when the owner noticed I was having a hard time deciding, he actually went and grabbed some chicken that had only JUST been processed that morning and wasn’t in the case yet. Follow them on Facebook to get updates for seasonal specialty products early, that way you don’t miss out on a turkey for Thanksgiving like I did this year. With Covid, it’s been especially important to me that I shop local. I’m so glad that there’s a place in our community to get quality food from as close to the source as we can be AND to get it from such wonderful people.

This is THE best place to get pastured raised and finished chicken, beef, pork and even wild caught fish. Farmer John is the kindest human I have ever known. I walk right by the meat case in the grocery store without even a glance, Olivor Heritage Farms is just that darned good!!! Had a Christmas porchetta that was to die for.

I’ve been working with John for about a year now and he and his wife have always been super helpful with getting the product that I want as well as scheduling times to pick it up, even on days that they are “off”. As a small scale farmer I know that days off are few and far between so when he takes the time to help me on these “off” days I appreciate it it that much more. If you’re looking for quality well cared for proteins you can’t do much better than Olivor Heritage.
