Reviews of Market House Meats
Stephanie Soong
I’ve tried a few corned beef and Reuben spots in the city. This is by far the BEST one. They give the most generous portion of meat for a $15 price. I’ve paid closed to $25 for a similar sandwich with 1/3 less meat at another delicatessen. The staff is friendly and quick with giving you your food. Highly recommend the grilled reuben. It even comes with potato salad and an Oreo cookie!

I'm a plumber building a tower a block away so I can't normally get there... wrong hours. I have walked by on the way home and always smelled the best smells. Turns out their hood exhaust is what I was smelling.
Today I started late so I stopped in.
WOW!!! Be hungry when you show up here!!
I couldn't finish the sandwich but did try to eat all the potato salad... yea right!
EVERYTHING was outstanding!
The staff were wonderful.
Give them a try if you are anywhere close... you will thank me 🙂
PS. I saw the sandwich and ate half before it occurred to me to take a pic 🤣🤣
Great food!

The Market House Grilled Reuben ia must if you are a Reuben Sandwich lover!!
The meat was thinly sliced and melt in your mouth, coupled with saurkraut, Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing all harmoniously placed between two slices of rye bread!!! Ok, maybe a little dramatic but this Reuben is one of the best found I've had in Seattle!
I was told by a close source of mine the Pastrami dip sandwich was the best they ever had!
The sandwiches are served with scoop of potato salad, a pickle slice and a little cookie!
The staff was very helpful and friendly and completed my order quickly as the lunch time rush was coming in.
I also heard the staff addressing other customers by their first name and recalling their orders as they were obviously regulars! That tells me this is great spot to eat at!
This is a definite go to spot!

This is the best place in Seattle for pastrami, or corned beef. Their sandwiches are amazingly satisfying, with all the fixings on the side, and a perfect balance or tender, moist meat to light, and fluffy bread. The staff is incredibly friendly. Service is fast. There is plenty of counter space to dine in. Additionally, there is a selection of dessert pastries (the baklava is on point!). You will not leave hungry.

Heard this place has the best Reuben in Seattle. The rumors are correct! The sandwich was so melt in your mouth delicious. The staff were also very nice and fun to talk to. The moment you walk in your mouth waters from the smell of cooked meats. 10/10

Best Phillie Cheese Steak that I've had in my life. The Ruben is amazing too. Lots of delicious meat with fresh grilled unions and peppers with perfectly melted cheese on a delicious bun. Also will allow you to sub potatoe salad and cookie for fresh hot French Fries. A+

I can honestly say that I had the best REUBEN sandwich of my life here! Trust me when I say this, I have had reuben sandwiches all over the country and the one I had here was the absolutely best meat, seasoned and grilled but also on some of the best rye bread I have ever tasted! The size of the whole sandwich was daunting, considering I'm a big guy (6'4" - 315), that is saying something! Can't wait to come back!
Nathan Yim
I ordered the C.P.R. (corned beef, pastrami, & roast beef on a hoagie roll) and wow, it was hefty and delicious! The staff were also super friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back to try everything else on the menu.
Anna
This is THE legendary institution for pastrami and corned beef in Seattle. They are not messing around with their quality & quantity. The rye swirl bread is special as well. We used to be able to see their huge “CORNED BEEF” printed on the side of the building from our apartment! Ah the temptation!!
Tatiana Turner
The pastrami and the split pea soup so delicious as is their pastrami sandwich. I'm very happy to live on a couple blocks. This place is a staple of the area and there's a reason. Even my mom who's 60 remembers coming here back in the day and raved about how good the sandwiches were and I'm happy to say they still living up to those expectations they set all those years ago.
James Zou
Unfortunately I was too hungry to take a picture of the whole thing before devouring it. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and it was amazing! Generous amount of meat and the cheese melted perfectly. Will definitely revisit here when I'm back in Seattle, I can see how this place has been over for soooo many years, the odd cookie was weird though.
Jessica “Robin” R-E
Got the grilled reuben to go and holy wow was it a great sandwich! Packed full of meat that was still hot when I got it home. The cookie is a nice touch. I grabbed some of the corner beef hash to cook at home since their full corned beef slabs looked AMAZING. I don't have the space in my fridge for one right so I couldn't justify buying one, but a pound of the CBH was much more manageable. I look forward to having it given how delicious this sandwich was! Definitely going back with my bf one of these days.
Katy Ames
Just ate here for the first time and they completely satisfied my bbq craving. I wish I had pictures to upload, but we were to busy stuffing our faces! The bbq pulled pork was perfectly cooked, tons of flavor, and extra juicy. The special was chopped brisket and lived up to my Texas bbq roots. Excellent potato salad and fries. Will be back!
Kyle McMillan
Absolutely THE BEST Reuben I’ve ever had - and their Philly Cheese Steak & BBQ Brisket were amazing as well. Friendly staff, excellent food. This is a MUST GO TO if you’re anywhere in the Seattle area!!
Stephanie Moe
Best corned beef EVER! 3 generations of my family have gotten their corned beef every Christmas for 70+ years! Great friendly staff!
Luke Hannan
The best deli in Seattle. Their staff are incredibly kind. Go here if you're looking for a great sandwich or breakfast burrito!
Push Prod
I had a great pastrami sandwich. I'm already planning my next visit. I gotta try the reuben. Omg, I can't wait!
Scott Carey
I enjoyed the corned beef sandwich with potato salad, it came with mayonnaise mustard and if you like horseradish don't let their description of "hot" scare you from trying it, it is fresh and delicious horse radish. With plenty of meat in the sandwich you could easily share with someone special or just indulge yourself.
Tracy Nash
This amazing deli doesn't need my 5-star rating as any proof that they're doing a good job. They have the history to prove it. My only regret is that it's taken us this long as regular visitors to the area to discover it. We will definitely return.
Josh Thompson
Been here several times now and this place does not disappoint! Better come hungry because that Reuben is Loaded with corned beef! Potato salad is always a nice little touch. Called ahead for quick and easy pickup, great spot for breakfast and lunch.
marty rayburn
Amazing corned beef sandwich. One of the best I’ve ever had. Super nice staff. This place is all quality food and no glitz and glamour of the rest of Cap Hill. Definitely a cool local spot. Highly recommend
Patrick Rice
These guys make the most amazing Rueben sandwiches in the city. Piled high with tasty corned beef made in house along with fresh Rye bread and sauerkraut. Totally worth a visit when in town or passing through.
Curtis Nelson
I've been eating here for 25 years and they're another wonderful old-school Seattle institution. They make all their meats in-house and sell them to most of the good restaurants in town.
Why not go direct to the source?
They've got the best Reuben in town hands-down. Same goes for their Pastrami sandwich. I'd put their Philly Cheese among the top 3 in town.
Prices have gone up a bit but now you get a cup of soup and a side salad to lessen the sting. (Who does that?)
I'll miss this place when it's gone because old Seattle greatness is disappearing fast... and so am I.
Frank Murphy
Excellent pastrami sandwich! Great friendly service. Very quick, no line (we did go on an uncrowded Saturday noon). Can't wait to go back for Reuben, then corned beef then burger. Hard to go wrong. Very good potato salad and great pickles.
Yukon Raphael G. Cornelius
Absolutely The Best Sandwiches you will ever have in Seattle! The Staff is very kind and family is thw feel and that's how they treat you! You will enjoy!
Matt Morio
Always a good sandwich! Huge sammies, great HOT horseradish and tasty goodness. I've had the pastrami, corned beef and ruben but always go back to the ruben (like the pic from today). Grab extra napkins and a fork because they stuff the meat into the sandwiches!
Erin Bouck
Friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. Love the corned beef sandwich. It's definitely worth the effort of getting around the construction work. If you like corned beef, this the place for you.
David Pinon
Market House is a Seattle staple the is impervious to external influence and remains successful because they know who they are.
Try their signature Reuben and you'll understand exactly what I mean.
Steffan
Wow. freshly prepared, hot reuben meat doused in the perfect amount of sauce and sauerkraut. potato salad was delicious as well, and it was all topped off with a nice oreo cookie at the end. amazing 👌🏼 …
Mike Stone
One of the all time legendary Seattle lunch spots. The pastrami, corned beef, and roast beef are absolutely stellar. The folks who work there are friendly and efficient. The horseradish is perfect! Try everything on the menu. And grab a beer, because you can.
Melanie Norris
Little hole in the wall place but hands down the best Reuben we've ever had. Portions are super generous and everything is so tasty. On top of the exceptional food, the staff was so friendly and attentive.
Justin Meadows
Just adding to the chorus. You will never eat a better Reuben sandwich. Potato salad is perfect too.
Theodore Hellmann
Worth the wait during the rush, but if you arrive at 11:30 or 12:30 you’ll miss the rush and save yourself 10 minutes. This place is excellent - I’m here so often I’m on a first name basis with everyone. Good, cheap sandwiches - especially the reubens and cheese steaks. Wouldn’t recommend the corned beef brats, though.
Don’t get confused when you walk in: just walk to the right, fill out your order on the paper forms, hand it to the cook, and then go to the front to pay.
You can also get packages of corned beef briskets here and they are delicious.
The Parkinson’s
Stopped in and grabbed a Philly cheese steak- not only was the sandwich FANTASTIC (came with a potato salad, pickle, and cookie), but the service was good and the food came quickly despite it being lunch time. Will definitely be going back on the regular!
Krystal Whittenburg
I order from Amazon restaurants. The food is delicious. I had it delivered to my work. The potato salad was really good. Plenty of meat in the sandwich, no skimping there. The pastrami is so good. Would definitely recommend.
mike watson
The reuben sandwich is fantastic best I've ever had. Not only does it taste great but it's big enough to be both lunch and dinner.
Corey Pieper
A nice place to grab breakfast or lunch. You can get a burger and fries for $10 which is as good of a deal as you'll find in Seattle. The reuben is awesome and the horseradish that comes on the side is so strong that it will clear your sinuses.
Ethan Levy
I love going to Market house in the morning to get the triple meat corned beef breakfast sandwich! At lunch it's all about that Reuben, Pastrami dip or a cheeseburger piled high with fresh cut pastrami and bacon! If you haven't eaten here it's a must!
Ted Cartwright
Do you love corned beef... I do... and there is nowhere better to get it than here... and I don't just mean in Seattle... I mean anywhere. It's not incredibly cheap... but nothing is anymore. What it is though is the best cut... best brined corned beef ever. This place has been a hidden gem for many year... seriously... it's been my go to place for several decades. If you go there around lunch... get a sandwich too... but... don't think your going to eat it in one sitting... the sandwiches are huge and amazing... I've given a lot of reviews for places through the years... never have I been as happy as I am now to praise this place. Almost hate to do it though since I sort of regard this place as my personal find from years ago. Go... enjoy...
Nathan Godwin
So good and very reasonably priced. The reuben is the best I've ever had, but everything else is great too.
william “Walewokr” swainson
Awesome old school deli
Stuart Minshull
I've been coming here for years and the food is superb every time. It's not an exaggeration to say this is the best Corned Beef & Pastrami you can find in Seattle.
Plus, its a locally owned small-business and the staff are super friendly!
Tom Bolender
I live 60 miles from Market House and only get there once or twice a year. Their Ruben sandwiches are the best ever. Every time I get one somewhere else I compare it. Nothing ever comes close. Eat here and be prepared to leave full and maybe have something for later.
Aaron Almeida
insanely good sandwiches, slightly on the pricier end but definitely worth it
Kevin X
The horseradish on their signature corned beef was on point. Definitely a hidden gem since 1948. Come give it a try!!
Clayton Holm
Amazing Reuben. Nothing else like this in Seattle. Reminds me exactly of Katz’s in New York.
Kiley Zaubi
This place has a delicious vegetarian breakfast sandwich! This was the one place I was going to miss when I stopped eating meat, but luckily I can still have breakfast! Awesome potato salad too. I've had the brisket sandwich for lunch and it was also fantastic. I definitely suggest this place to anyone.
Brenda Joyner
Taste: Phenomenal.
Staff: Friendly, inviting, engaging!
Price: Worth it! (Won't lie, I'm still adjusting to Seattle prices since moving here from Louisiana, so they seemed high... until I got my Reuben!) This sandwich was stacked high with house-made corned beef. They brine and cook their meat themselves, rather than buying tasteless processed beef. This fed me for 2 meals, and tasted just as good cold when I went for the second half. A new favorite for a quick meal when I'm in the area. I will absolutely be back!
jesusislord414
I Accidentally stubbled across this amazing spot!!!
I ordered for my family a Hot Pastrami Sandwich, BBQ Brisket Sandwich and the Hot Pastrami Dip Sandwich. Man, oh man was the Pastrami AMAZING!!! The Au Jus for the dip was so flavorful with a deep beefy taste.
But what was more as amazing than their awesome food, was the even more amazing staff. I believe I was serviced by what might be a Father & Son duo. These men made me feel so welcomed. They greeted me with a true genuine appreciation to their fine establishment. They ask me how my day was going, engaged me and thanked me multiple times for my patronage. And they was so sincere when they were doing so. I felt so very happy to be there and to have found this gem. I WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK AND WILL BE BRINGING FRIENDS.
To these two gentlemen, THANK YOU for being awesome.

Market House Meats, Denny Triangle, Seattle, Wa
If anywhere can truly be called a hole in the wall eatery, this place checks most of the boxes. Well-priced, locally owned, community-centered and a lone hold out in a neighborhood surrounded by shiny new construction you find yourself in a throwback to a different era. This classic, no-frills spot has been making its own brined Corned Beef onsite since way back in 1948. Housed in the same one story building that once boasted Seattle's famous Re-Bar, Market House holds its own, but for how long who knows. And that is why you need to go NOW! From the outside and when you glance through the windows ‘iffy’ is what jumps to mind, but once you get a whiff of what cooking on a large central grill and see the offerings on the single sheet printed menu, anticipation takes over. Opening at 8am (M-F) Market House offers a selection of breakfast sandwiches that range from a Single with Egg, and choice of Bacon, Pastrami, Sausage or Corned Beef to Quad which is Egg, Bacon, Pastrami, Sausage and hash brown all in one. In addition there are others with lesser meat combinations plus a breakfast platter and veggie option. On the day we visited they also had a special breakfast burrito that was almost the size of a presto log in which half went home and became dinner. Aside from breakfast, their big business is lunch in which it quickly becomes obvious that they are keeping the local construction crews well fed and happy (they come in waves almost on the hour). Items such as Market House Grilles Reuben which features hot corned beef piled high (understatement) on rye bread & covered with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut & Thousand Island dressing & hot horseradish on the side, or the Pastrami with loads of thinly sliced pastrami on rye bread with Swiss cheese with lettuce, tomato, onions, mustard, mayo, and hot horseradish on the side. Other options include a Pastrami Dip, Philly Steak, BBQ Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork and a huge Club sandwich plus others. All sandwiches are served with pickle slices, a scoop of deliciously creamy traditional potato salad (without the usual commercially made extra junk) and a small cookie. Of note are the two soups that are usually on offer, which are a homemade Split Pea (yummy) and Smoked Pastrami. Harking back to the days when Market House was truly a butcher/deli, you can still buy the in house brined brisket for your own cooking pleasure in addition to sliced meat and real corned beef hash by the pound. My one staple since moving downtown has been a weekly stop here for a cold pastrami rye with extra horseradish. It has never disappointed. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious.
Laura Wozniak
Visiting from Chicago, imagine my surprise to
Find a great corned beef sandwich here in Seattle. Make the trip worth it!
Uvania
First time here and I had a Ruben...super flavorful, piping hot juicy meat and rye bread that held it together well! The older guys behind the counter were very nice! I love the local owned deli feel. Very simple and great tasting meats!
Dave Miller
Finally got to try market house meats and I am not disappointed. The cold pastrami sandwich was very very good plenty of meat on a soft delicious marble rye bread. Needed mayo and mustard but that didn't detract from how good it was. They are in the Denny triangle so it is best to walk to because parking is a nightmare. One of my top pastrami places on Seattle
Scott Fitzgerald
This place is amazing! The best pastrami and corned beef in Seattle. The staff is very friendly, you can tell this place has a lot of history and the people who work there show pride in their food. A real Seattle treasure, I make it a habit to split the two best sandwiches on the menu with a friend, the Hot Pastrami Dip + Onions & Cheese, and the Reuben. If you enjoy a hot sandwich, don't miss this place. Makes Tat's look like Jersey Mikes. Oh, and the breakfast sandwiches are spot on as well
Kit B
Market House Meats makes the best sandwiches ever! Like hands down! The amount of meat they put on their Reuben is unreal! I could barely pick half the sandwich up. They are definitely not stingy with their servings. The side of potato salad is delicious as well. I need to remember to eat here more often!
Raymond Sagdahl
If you crave a delicious Rueben sandwich, look no further! Small deli with lots of flavor! Go get you one! You'll need extra napkins!
rockford faurot
Fantastic sandwiches with very large portions of meat. Having had several deli sandwiches in NYC, I would say this is very close to something you’d get there. Definitely the best sandwich I’ve had in seattle!!
Jeremy Ward
I have never written a google review for a place before, but I was eating their Reuben today (take out order) and I thought, I love this so much I need to let other people know how hecking good this sandwich is.
In summary get one of their Reuben's, I literally guarantee you will love it.
Jane Lu
Wow this place is amazing. No frills. The sandwiches are legit. My husband got the corned beef sandwich and I got the cheese steak. The bread was perfect to soak up all the juices. Our only complaint was that they're too big to hold since they're bursting with meat but I don't think that's a negative :) the Philly cheese steak wasn't "authentic" per say but I still loved it. The potato salad was the best though. I want to go back and get a tub of that!
Christopher Zoli
Still the best Reuben sandwich in Seattle, hands down. Prices have gone up a buck or two the past couple years but still a good value for what you get; delicious sandwich on great bread, pickle spear, side of potato salad and a cookie. Cheaper than Tats and I prefer the corned beef here.
Plus the history, as this place has been around forever in the same location. Originally opened in 1948. Staff is great, super friendly and get your sandwich quickly even when there is a line. If you haven't been here you owe it to yourself to give it a try. It's worth it, even though parking around the store is a pain. Find a spot, get inside, grab a menu and pen and get yourself a damn good Reuben sandwich...
Dan Marcus
Simply THE best Reuben! Bring a friend and split one - they're MASSIVE!
Chris Smith
Best Reuben in Seattle, hands down! I have regrets here though. I drove past it repeatedly for over 15 years before I finally tried it. It kind of looks dumpy from the outside and though they've made some recent updates to the inside, that's not a lot better. The food however, is glorious. The Reuben is my favorite but they're all good. I love the corned beef and pastrami in any form. It's served piping hot and fresh with a side of potato salad and a Hydrox cookie. So what finally got me in the door? KING5 did a story on where to get the best Reuben on St. Patrick's Day a few years ago and this was the top pick. The old fellow who ran it at the time was great and I always got great service from him and his wife (I'm assuming?) when I came in. The guys running the grill are always friendly and happy to make any custom tweaks that you request. I understand that the Old folks have retired but the quality remains the same so by all means, eat here. You won't be disappointed!
Melissa Matkin
Best reuben sandwiches in town for 30+ years (even through changes of ownership). Thick sliced, marbled rye grilled until warm and a slight bit crunchy loaded with corned beef, sauerkraut, cheese and 1000 island if you want it - more sandwich than most can get their mouth around. Accompanied by a dill spear, cookie, potato salad and horseradish...mmmm! Personally I leave off the 1000 island and request an extra side of horseradish for total perfection. Iconic Seattle this place remains.
Rahul Tirumalareddy
The meat portions on the sandwiches are absolutely ridiculous. In a good way. I just moved across the street from here and will definitely be a regular customer.
Mark Katon
The corned beef made here is some of the best in Seattle. I used to work a few blocks away and came here a few times. I like the sandwich combo with the soup. When I went there they had a mean split pea soup! The sweetest little thing is that creme cookie they put in the box with everything :) It reminds me of my Grandma Betty who would always have those cookies in her pantry cabinets. Cheers!
Jarek Sedlacek
Amazing food, best NY style deli sandwiches I've had outside the east coast
Mark Morgan
Friendly, good display, and best of all delicious meat! I got the brisket daily special without bread. Ate it too fast to take a picture! Portions are good. Fast too, walked past all the people standing in the food truck lines.
TJ Salas
The staff is super friendly and the sandwiches are unmatched in quality, taste, and satisfaction. Every bite is a pleasurable experience and the sandwiches are worth every penny. Do yourself a favor, skip the franchises, and head here for your next lunch. The Reuben will have you believing in unicorns!
Justin Malone
Easy one of the best lunch places in Seattle.
Christopher Woodard
The Quad Sandwich is delicious!
Peter Krylov
The best burger and breakfast sandwich in the NorthWest. Qbit pricey but worth it. Ask for the secret menu item like the triple meat breakfast burrito.
Dylan
Reuben breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese) had doubts was blown away
Ian Leaverton
Bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich is amazing.
William Bowen
Always busy at noon but always worth the wait. The sandwiches gigantic - I recommend the Rueben. The corned beef and pastrami are made in-house.
The cheeseburger and fries is a near-daily go to (or was until I moved offices a couple blocks away). Always plenty of fries. Get in there before 1130 and you'll be set for a quick in and out. Yes, they sell Corned beef by the bag (uncooked), made in-house.
They added Gyros and fries to the menu recently, I'm trying them Friday.
J IM
This is the place I go when I can't think of anything to eat for lunch. Not only because I work super close to this place but for the taste and fast waiting time. My 2 favorites are ruben and corned beef sandwich. I've been coming to this place for last 3 years and my comments are as follow; great flavor with constancy, just right amount of meat (in my standard), and reasonable price.
There is one think that stops me from giving them 5 starts which is there ordering system. You have to fill out your order on a letter size form.
Bryce Matthews
This is the sandwich to beat in Seattle. The fragrant bread they use compliments the corned beef. Big portions. I can only eat one half, but I have witnessed someone take down two whole sandwiches in succession. They put your horseradish on the side. Use it! You will forget the pain, but you will remember the flavor combo. You order on a sheet of paper. To split an order with a friend, write "split" across the page. The pea soup is great too, of course.
R Churches
For the love of everything you hold dear, if you are in Seattle, you need to stop in and eat at this Seattle institution and one of its best kept secrets. With BBQ and deli style meats, a fridge full of beer and combo meals that include a meaty sandwich, a side and an Oreo for dessert at a cheap price, it’s no wonder this place is full of local construction workers. A hidden gem.
Rey Cooley
Terrific friendly service and delicious sandwiches! Highly recommend. I have been meaning to try it for years, glad I finally did. Ordered the Reuben and devoured it. So much meat I could barely make it to my mouth without it falling out. I ate the dropped bits with the potato salad, delicious!
Tiffany Fagan
You can smell the corned beef, pastrami, and roast beef from out side...(it draws you in really) you walk in and see yummy sandwiches and very happy people eating them. The atmosphere is definitely old school deli /butcher shop and the people working there take pride in their sandwiches...just wished that all of the workers were as nice as the one who had greeted us (the other 2 not so friendly)
Michael Dare
Right across the street from Facebook's old HQ are the best sandwiches in Seattle.
Philip Attipoe
If you've never eaten here, you're missing a lot. Fantastic sandwiches for good price. Don't take my word for it. Just walk in there and get a corn beef sandwich just once.
Clayton Reynolds
Amazing service and great food. The sandwiches and sides are abundant and amazing! They do not waste any space to pile on the Corned Beef, for their sandwiches. Good job, guys, I look forward to visiting again soon.
Felix Lilly
This place has some of the best Reuben sandwiches I have literally ever eaten in my life! In my many years of writing food reviews and many decades beyond that of traveling I have stopped in at many a Reuben restaurant and this place in Seattle is by far my favorite!!
JP
Great local deli with hearty breakfast sandwiches and friendly staff.
Gene Wainwright
My wife worked near Market House, & she'd buy corned beef & bring it home to cook. It's always been very high quality, really good. I ate there for the first time today, I had a beef brisket sandwich & my friend had the Reuben, made w/ corned beef. Both were really good, & loaded with meat. I'll go back.
Bambi Guptill
Delicious Ruben sandwich. Always delicious for lunch. Definitely want to stop in for breakfast soon!
Rose Walden
This place is soooooooooooo good. It looks like it's not as good as it actually is. Don't be deceived. Try their pastrami. It's amazing.
Steve Cartoon
I've been going here for a number of years now. The sandwiches are all amazing and you definitely want to cook up some of their corned beef for St. Patrick's day, if that's your thing. We both learned from them that we'd been cooking it up wrong all this time, because their standard recipe for the corned beef outdid anything we'd ever done!
stephen carson
I have never written a review of any restaurants before. But after eating the breakfast sandwich with everything on it (3 meats and hashbrown) I felt compelled to write my first review. This place is amazing for breakfast and lunch. The service is awesome and everyone is friendly. Huge fan.
Daniel Hitt
Unbelievably good pastrami breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg!
Ithomiid Inc.
Delicious sandwiches. Quick, friendly service.
Jennifer Robertson
Found by Googling and it was the closest to my hotel. Found a local hot spot! Excellent, giant, filling sandwiches!
Robert de Forest
I had the pastrami on a hoagie with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and au jus, and it was better than any French dip I've ever had. The pastrami was delightful. The horseradish was deadly (as it should be). I work at 8th and Virginia and I think this was my favorite sandwich from anywhere in walking distance. I was skeptical that a $10 sandwich (including $1 tip) could be this good but from now on I will tip higher. The portions are large and the food is delicious.
Charla Hathaway
Best Big Breakfast Burrito Ever! It was absolutely delicious, and very filling!
W Fowler
Around since 1948 and likely little has changed ... for the better! I had the Reuben and whilst I don't normally eat that much meat in one sitting, it's a nice treat. Stop in as it's a nice change to all the new age vegan-like places cropping up left and right.
Rui Li
Very friendly staff. Delicious sandwiches. Love Reuben the most. A little bit more expensive than regular sandwiches, but it's all worth it.
Patrick Higgins
Love this place! Great staff and awesome food. Affordable, simple and delicious. Everyone that works there is nice and loves to smile.
I've never had a bad experience here over the last 6+ months I've gone for breakfast or lunch. My only complaint is that they don't have a location closer to my house!
Jules S
Best reuban ever!!!! Guys that work here are always genuinly nice too. Also, they'll split it for an extra buck, put it in two boxed and give you an extra scoop of salad and an extra cookie....since their sandwiches are humongous it makes for a cheap lunch for two. One more thing I love, they have pbr cans....which I usually enjoy one while waiting for my sandwich. I used to live up the street from this place, went here frequently....once while walking our little dog I stopped in for a sandwich.....they gave me a little plate of pastrami for him....he loved it :-)

I've had hundreds of reuben sammies all over the country in my life, and this one sits undisputed at #1. Not only is the sandwich amazing, but the sides all go together perfectly. I always make a point to stop here when I'm in Seattle.
Ayesha Borker
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent prices. They keep it simple and provide good food. Love it.
Jon Guncay
Staff is awesome, the corned beef is made in house and my favorite. Only thing holding this back from being my #1 Ruben is the bread isn't toasty enough. But complete excellence otherwise.
Zach Blakeslee
best pastrami sandwich I have ever had in Seattle, the price is worth it as there's tons of meat in their sandwiches.
James Hurliman
No frills, just top-shelf meat. This is easily in Seattle's top 3 sandwich shops. If you show up early, they make a killer breakfast sandwich too.
john campbell
Really big breakfast burrito. Great sandwiches
Christopher LaCorte
One of my favorite sandwich shops in Seattle! Hands down the best reuben sandwich.
Ronin Jax
I absolutely love this place, many different classic sandwiches on homemade rye or haogie and come with potatoe salad a slice of pickle and an oreo type cookie. They also serve fries, and any cut of cow or I believe pig too, giant pickles, balaclava and more, as well as aaallll the popular canned and bottled drinks. It's a local one location business that has been there owned by the family for generations. It is all high quality and mostly local ingredients, and friendly staff. Altho the catch is the great food comes with a comparable price, but not extortionate.
Patrick Smith
Nice people, great sandwiches. I had the Hot Pastrami Dip (served au jus). It was one of the better sandwiches I'd ever had. Highly suggest you check this place out. I will definitely be going back.
