Walking inside I had no idea I died and went to heaven! The place is filled with thousands of hot sauces; marinades, seasonings everything flavor in one stop you will never buy your sauce from the grocery store I promise! They have beef jerky fresh cut meat and frozen prepackaged game cuts like bison and venison alligator. So many things to browse to get your mind brainstorming new meal ideas to make for your family! I picked up some of my hometown’s crockpot recipes along with included ingredients. I believe they have fresh cheese the kind that looks like a wheel. This places is worth the trip out to Mount Terrace. This is a diamond in the ruff establishment in a quiet community.

Wow! Very helpful employees. You can tell the employees are happy to work there. Huge selection of hot sauces, BBQ sauces, rubs and any meat flavoring you can think off. Lots of meats. They even have bully sticks for your dog. Will be returning!

Very helpful staff, great selection, low low prices. They even have alligator meat! I’m from St. Louis and they had my childhood favorite sauce, Maull’s. Hubby is from Kansas City and they have some of his home town favorites, too. Definitely worth the trip!

You want meat? You want sauces? OMG!! come here, now. Lol. Today was my first visit to double DD meats. They have so many types of different sauces I felt like I was in heaven. The staff was amazing and friendly and super helpful. They had various meats that I was having trouble finding locally in my area. When you show up to look around be prepared to spend at least 30 minutes. Good stuff..

If any of you have not been to Double DD meats they are triple awesome for half the price of the big grocery stores so glad i found this place the employees are the absolute best and most helpful whatever you need they will get you squared away and you gotta try the DD line of robust ribeye sauces and marinades they are outa sight along with a beautiful ribeye steak

I wish there were more locations. Today was my first time here and the employees could not have been nicer. There's also a great atmosphere and TONS of sauces and rubs. More meat than you can believe, all different cuts. You wouldn't find half this much meat at a grocery store. I came from Everett because I heard such great things and it was worth the gas. Will definitely be coming back.

Double D Meats has to be one of the first places you should consider if you’re looking for meats and sauces. I hadn’t visited for quite awhile and was happy to find the large collection of hot sauces still available. Double D’s was the first place I contacted to find an obscure hot sauce and of course they had one in stock. In addition to the aisles of hot sauces, they have salad dressings, other sauces, and something I hadn’t noticed but the large collection of sodas. It would be pretty easy to spend a lot of time just admiring all of the sauces and drinks they have. Of course they also have a great selection of meats.

If you love meat, this is the place to go. One of the best selection of meat I've ever seen, not to mention the aisle upon aisle of sauces. When you walk into Double D, the smell of red meat is intoxicating. The staff is very friendly, quick, and knowledgeable, and the prices beat any grocery store. Plus, being a butcher with a reputation to uphold, you know you're getting good quality every time.

Got the care pack and was pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of food for a little over $100. If you were to go to say Safeway and get exactly the same ounce for ounce would easily cost 2-3 times as much for worse or similar quality. Thanks DD.

I drove 65 miles one way, about and hour and a half just to get some bbq sauce and beef jerky. The employees nice, friendly, very helpful, and are very quick on serving their customers. Every time I come here it’s busy, but the line is quick. Also the other customers are friendly also. I only took a snapshot of the outside.

There is a reason that when you go in there on a Saturday afternoon it looks like the betting windows during the Kentucky Derby. Throngs of people loading up on high quality reasonably priced carnivore goodies. The interesting thing here is it's half butcher shop half hot sauce store. Literally thousands of hot sauces to tempt your palate. We buy what's called a locker box. It's a collection of a wide variety frozen meats. Ribeye steaks, bacon, sausage, pot roasts, hamburger, hot dogs all for $114. Comparatively we priced the same amount for $175 at Safeway. You have to see this place to believe how great it is.

My son took me here about 2 years ago. Double D D Meats is always worth a drive. The meats are fresh and reasonably priced. There's so many great specialty sauces, condiments, rubs etc for all budgets. No matter how busy, customer service is always wonderful and efficient. When they're helping you, you are their focus and always make sure weights are okay with you. Great place for gifting. Just shopped here for one a favorite name brand mustard, deli meat and a few meats for my son's birthday.

This place has the most amazing selection of fun sauces and seasonings I've ever seen, the quality of the meat is fantastic, and the staff is very very friendly. An actual butcher shop is a rare treat these days, but this one fits the bill perfectly. Update: I was talking to some Mountlake Terrace city officials, and it seems like they view Double D as a local treasure. I can see why.

Great service, great selection of all things loosely associated with meat/cooking and really the best part is great prices on tasty meat. They even have broth making supplies if you fancy making ramen or pho at home. Make sure to check out their BBQ sauce wall and their mustard/aoli/mayo wall after selecting your meat items.

Have only been a few times but I love going inside and finding some neat things. Haven't bought anything super substantial yet, but I love their selection of bulk sausage in the back freezer. Every package so far has been delicious and brings us back for more. Their prices are very reasonable, the staff is very pleasant, and the interior is very clean. Great place to get some quick dinner goods or less common meats/meat products.

Pretty sure I died and went to hot sauce heaven. I LOVE hot sauce at pretty much every meal, so this was overwhelming in the best way. Randomly selected a few sauces and they were all great! With so much to choose from, (literally ~4 full isles stuffed top to bottom with options) I'll definitely run through my bottles fast and be back to try new ones. They also have a nice selection of meats for pets which my friend's dog loves, and their BBQ sauce and seasoning selection is impressive as well. Awesome vibes all around :)

This is an amazing local, full-service butcher. They sell exotic (frozen) meats and body parts. Duck fat, demi-glace, home made sausages and bacon. In 10+ years I've never walked in and not found it packed. That means quality ingredients, and quick turnover on product.

Every time I stop by D&D I tell myself, "I seriously need to come here more often". Items I've had trouble finding elsewhere, they always seem to have! Make sure you spend some time looking through the big freezer along the back wall. You never know what you'll find! And yes, I bought the ground camel.

My husband and I are in absolute awe of the fact that all I told a salesperson was that he wanted some hot sauce with garlic but he forgot the name of it, and she went directly to it! I know everybody seems to think this place is great, but let's be honest: unless you are buying hot sauce, it really is only marginally above the meat counter at every grocery store. Yes, sometimes you get great meat here. But I have also had some that was pretty much shoe leather. I don't like their deli meats. I don't like their chicken. Butt they do have some great steaks, and a huge selection of hot sauce. It's OK, just don't expect more than it is.

Best selection of hot sauce in the northwest. They are a very good butcher shop as well. They make some interesting sausages and even have a very good, albeit small, selection of craft sodas. If you ever find yourself in the area, do yourself the favor and stop in for a visit. You can't have too much hot sauce! Update 2022: everything above still holds true, especially the hot sauces. Pay them a visit! Note, they are very busy on Saturdays and not open on Sundays.

Great staff, super helpful. They answer questions and recognize you if you are a regular customer and welcome you if you're not. The best meat I've ever eaten in my life. I can't buy grocery store near any more. They have all the fancy kinds of beef, too. Try the bacon burger 😍😍😍. The bacon in ground into the beef. I regularly purchase lean ground beef, Italian sausage, country sausage, and I also like the beef jerky and barbecued pork. They have a huge Isle of all kinds of hot sauces and barbecue sauces and fun gifty things. You can buy sliced deli meats and cheeses. I like to try something new every time I go in. I'd give 10 Stars if it was an option.😁 I shop here at least bi-weekly and most of the time its weekly. I recently discovered cheese curds here. So yummy 😋

Yesterday evening I called with several questions and reserved a 10lb goose for Christmas. Somehow the reservation was lost when my husband went to pick it up today. Despite being very busy, they still managed to find him a goose. He was unsure of the weight as the tag was missing. When I called to find out what happened and if the goose was the same weight, the woman who answered my call was extremely courteous and helpful. She remembered helping my husband earlier. She asked if there was anything wrong with the goose we had purchased. When I explained I was concerned about it missing the weight she was able to pull the ticket and get me the info confirming it was over 10lbs and that it would be enough to feed 8. What could have been a problem was taken care of with professionalism during an extremely busy time of year. I will continue to sing their praises and recommend them to friends and family.

I've always liked them. Not the prepared stuff, that's often too salty. But all the fresh meats are amazing. The people are always nice and helpful, even when they are extremely busy without stopping. My best friend loves even the prepared stuff. They sell out of garlic jerky pretty fast. This is my new favorite store! Amazing selection of all things flavorful. Their claim to have a huge variety is absolutely true. You could be vegetarian and still find lots of great hot sauces, bbq sauces, mustards, seasonings, cheese, and so on. Their meat and cold cut selection also has something for everyone. From beef sticks to peppered turkey, steaks, home made brats, and ground beef. Amazing store. Just make sure not to go there when in a rush. The store deserves enough time to check out all the aisles.

Always busy. Great selection of meats. Even exotic meats like rabbit, camel, and others. They have other meat related products like marrow bones and suet. All in all they have everything you need to make a delicious meal. Last but surely not least, their spice and sauce selection is insanely large. It takes up 3/4 of the store! However if you are looking for prime cuts you will have to go elsewhere. DD's choice cuts often times have nice marbleization on par with prime cuts. As an added bonus they offer butchering services for your hunting meats or if you provide an already slaughtered cow.

I called ahead ahead to ensure they carried what I needed (duck breast) the gentleman I spoke to was cheerfully helpful not only making sure they had what what I looking for in stock but also providing me the quantity and price per lb. I love this place! The prices are on par with the supermarkets (sometimes cheaper) and the quality is way higher. The people behind the counter know what they're talking about and have helped me find the right cut of meat for what I want to do with it. They have a huge hot sauce and bbq sauce collection, including some own brand sauces. I'd definitely recommend trying some of their own branded things.

Great staff and to quality meats and cheeses, plus the largest selection of hot sauces you're likely to find in one place. They offer a selection of traditional cuts, to custom items (including great sausages) and accept special orders/requests. Frequently busy, but can get crazy post commute hour. Even so, the staff is great and handles it with ease. If you like to stock up in advance, be sure to check out their freezer packs for some nice savings.

I havent tries their meats, but their deli meats and cheeses are cheaper than the local grocery store. My only wish is that they had better gift boxes or pkgs of sauces.

Great selection of meat and very affordable prices. I like to come here and get about 5-7 pounds of meat since it's a way better bargain buy then buying from the grocery store. The quality of their meats are pretty good too! Minimal chewy grizzle which is great; you get more bang for your buck this way. Great place to also shop around for some unique sauces and spices.

It's a real butcher shop. Much bigger than what you'd think from movies or historical. I would say there's at least 400 different barbecue sauces maybe 200 rubs and spices. And they have oddity meats also pre-frozen. All the meat you want and great service. Young people asking can I help you. Great experience.

Good quality and variety of meats with the largest selection of rubs, sauces, and spices that I've seen in the area. They sell some pre-smoked and prepared meats (such as the house bacon), as well as their own line of sauces. They also have some of the more interesting cuts and animals. This is the shop I'll go to if I have a bunch of people coming over for BBQ. Prices aren't the cheapest, but I know they'll have what I need.

The bacon hamburger is great. Great staff that are constantly hustling to get customers what they want. Step up and order what you need! Love, love, love Double DD Meats. Their prices are better than the grocery stores and you get far better quality product. Their housemade sausage is great (steak and onion, yum), the steaks and chicken are always top notch. They even have some wild game and exotic meats (I get the ground elk for my cats as a treat). They also have an amazing selection of hot sauce, BBQ sauce, rubs and sodas. Add to all that the friendly, helpful, high energy staff. The only thing that would make it better is if they were open later one or two evenings a week but I wouldn't want to see them sacrifice quality for that convenience.

It’s ok. Not a lot of places in the area. They open late and close early, don’t understand that. So the mix of not being open long enough and not being more or less special then most high end grocery store only rate three stars. Updated as of today, Aug 19,2020 Got there 10 min before close to grab some chicken after work and the doors were locked. I can never go back here again. There hours are Terrible. Too bad, they have god stuff, but they are open while normal people are working and close super early on the weekend. Guess they are good with the return customers they have.

They have bone already in the ground meats they mix for dogs/pets so you don't really have to worry about it! Been coming here for a while now and it's been great over the years. I shop here for my dog and cat and use there raw pet food mix as a base for there food. The staff has been really helpful but lately there seems to be some new staff maybe that does not seem to be as good as the normal staff. The pet food mix has been really dry like they have been adding a lot of bone or something. When I ask for certain things with my large orders I have never needed to check to make sure it's right but over the last few months my orders seem to have something wrong each time. This has been an annoyance but I don't think it will effect me from coming back, at least not yet.

I come here about twice a week. My dog is on an all raw diet and they have everything I need here except his supplements (Mud Bay). They are usually busy so be prepared to wait or push your way to the front of the counter. They have a big staff, 95% of them are super nice and helpful. The front meat case is typical, great cuts of beef, chicken, and pork. No speciality stuff in case its all in the back freezer. Here they have duck, venison, alligator. I like this section because I can get my dogs hearts, necks, livers, etc. They are so cheap! I stick to the cheaper cuts like ground beef and top round for him but the expensive steaks look so good and MARBLED. Chicken leg quarters are a good price just lots of skin. I love this place I've been going for almost 3 months now.

Someone told me about double dd meats. I went there ordered brisket and chuck roast, had them grind for hamburger, but to my surprise meat came out sealed clear plastic. I thought they were an actual butcher shop where they butcher of a side beef. But I should have known by their name MEATS not BUTCHER SHOP. They're like going to grocery store. Meat is ok. Fresher than the grocer.

It has 3 pork chops (3, why 3?) And they are all different sizes. The one I am holding up is not even a consistent thickness. I am grateful for the gift, but if I had paid, I would be calling and complaining.

However, the pull dates on some of the non-meat items (rubs, injections, sauces, and mustards) are past the best buy date. I found one that was best by 2012. The mustard purchased had no date but had a black ring around the opening. It might be safe to buy items you know they sell a lot of. You may want to steer clear of the intriguing but obscure items.

From funny as hell named sauces & spices. To hilarious phrased dish towels to classic soda bottles in every single flavor you could think of. Delicious assortment of cheeses. OMG I was so overwhelmed. I knew I had to leave or I'd spend way to much money on all the cool stuff. I'll come back when I've got my head on straight. Definitely visit and I guarantee you will walk up and down every isle at least once. Very clean. I've gone here for almost 3 years and now I'm no longer going here. I had to take back a pork shoulder a few months ago because it went bad the day after. And now I had to throw away 4 sirloins and 3 pounds of ground beef after it was in my fridge for 2 days after buying it. I opened them and noticed the plastic bags aren't even twisted and are just folded over exposing the meat. I always ask to double bag because they always leak but nothing is ever double bagged. When I went to return the pork shoulder (after calling to see what to do) I never wanted to return meat again because of how I was treated. I was treated like I'm a dumbass and that i dont know how to store my food. One kid said that meat goes bad after a certain time if not prepared and maybe i should freeze it next time. I know how to handle my food. But maybe you should teach your staff how to wrap meats properly.

I ❤ Double D meats. They have the best corned beef and pastrami sliced meat ever! We buy the Pizzle for our dog and also beef bones too for her. We have had ribeyes, mmmm and I like their saurbraten gr beef for burgers. Sausages are equally good, I always have to try 2 or 3 different ones. I love the hot sauces! Best choices around. Hope to go back soon.

If you're a vegan or vegetarian or a plant based food eater, this is not a place for you. If you enjoy great cuts of meat you really need to check this place out. But wait there's more. Cheese's has come again to the deli case. Nothing extravagant cheese wise unless you think smoked cheese is in that category. Then you can get your lunch meat to put in that cheese sandwich. You might need to leave a trail of bread crumbs to find your way back from the ailse of sauces. It's hard to leave this place with out a bag full of meat.
