We stopped by for a hot meal. The place is a butcher shop where you can find all kinds of meat and they also serve some hot food. We liked the atmosphere and the person working there was very friendly. We got some brisket and two sides. Unfortunately the brisket was not what I expected, it was too tough. On the other hand the potato and garbanzo curry side was tasty, and I liked less the mixed veggie curry.

Friendly staff, beware the BRISKET they sell is NOT BBQ or SMOKED. Or if if it is it is not done so in the way one might expect; tough, flavorless and pale in color... almost like it was boiled. I have not tried the other items but I hear the other items are great. I just feel a little disappointed and wish they made BBQ meats.

The Butcher Shop Cafe just went through a change of ownership, and they're going through a bit of a transition right now, but all the same: If you're in the mood for a meat-heavy meal, stop by here! The owner gave us an *incredibly* generous sampler taste of the brisket, venison, ribs and chicken. I'd come in with an urge for beef, but we were so blown away by the quality of the chicken (soft, moist, perfectly flavorful) we had to order both it and the ribs (which were amazing). I'm looking forward to coming back once they've finished their transition and figured out their new menu (the only side available today was mac & cheese, which is not to my taste), and I might come back sooner just to get some of their frozen meats. Regardless, give 'em a try!

Great meal we had the chicken breast with pasta. The chicken is cooked to perfection moist and tasty the pasta is great too. We can't wait for the weekend to have the ribs . Great service great portions. Respect.

First, it was the smell of well smoked meat that got me from a distance, then it was the excellent and friendly CS from the fellow behind the counter. Stopped in on a whim to get some BBQ, best impulse ever. The brisket was fork tender and the smoke accented the meat instead of overpowering it. the selection in the freezers was as impressive as the prices. (Mid west prices in Kenmore?!? Oh, yes. Then hooked us up with some bold saffron rice, just to be nice. I know where I'm getting my meat from now on.

No Junk

I’ve been driving past this shop for years and today I finally gave it a try. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long. The meat selection was very good even this close to the holidays. The prices were excellent. But what made me such a fan – I’m going back very soon – was the guy behind the counter. One of the nicest customer service experiences I have had in a very long time – the kind that will brighten your entire week. Don’t wait to check it out like I did.

Love this place! They have all sorts of meat and cuts, plus eggs, dates, and hot meals. The place clean and organized. And on top of every thing their price is very reasonable. It's a gem in this neighborhood. Please come check it out and support our local small businesses.

Service was great and the butcher was very friendly. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fries and a drink for $10. The brisket was by far the most magnificent I have ever had the privilege of consuming! I'm not a horseradish fan but the horseradish based sauce was absolutely amazing! This brisket sandwich has everything you could ever want in a sandwich! Plus the portions are more than generous! If I could give 10 stars this establishment would get it. Keep up the amazing job guys!

They are open for business again! I finally got to check this place out and was really impressed with the selection of organic and grass fed chicken, beef, lamb, etc. They said they have plans to add more items and bring back the grill, yum! They also have eggs for a great price and and raw milk if that's your thing. If you are in the Kirkland/Finn hill/ Bothell/ Kenmore check them out! They are in the blue building across the street from the guest house. The owner and staff were super nice. I look forward to coming back.

Some of the best smoked meats I've had. I go out of my way to grab lunch here. Smoked pork ribs, or chicken, and they add grilled veggies and pasta! Large portions. Kicker, my wife loves it. In fact I'm going to go today as my mouth is watering while typing this, even though it's a 20 minute drive.

Stopped by this evening and got a pork rib plate! Good value and portion! These are the best ribs I have had here is the PNW! They were delicious and the meat fell off the bones! I can’t wait to try this place again!

This hard to miss shop located on Juanita Drive south of Bothell Everett Hwy, is easily the best unknown spot in Kenmore. It offers a nice lunch menu with fresh ground hamburger and other meats. I had the butcher burger which came with a perfectly cook burger with the baked beans. The burger was perfect, well-seasoned and very filling. The beans tasted good, but were undercooked. One of my companions had the New York strip sandwich and she enjoyed it as well. They are also a full service butcher with high quality cuts and homemade sausage. Their meats were reasonably priced.

EDIT 7/14/2016 - Got a call from the new manager. Very polite professional guy. He totally understood the facts and made no excuses. Heard the story again, and we worked it out. Based on my interactions with him, I'd be happy to return to this shop again. I had been a loyal customer. Here's what happened last... Bought 10.5 lbs TRIMMED Kobe Brisket. Got home, and had to trim 5.5 lbs. of fat off the brisket. I literally threw away $75 worth of fat off of a $150 TRIMMED (supposedly) brisket. I didn't get mad, I wasn't impolite. I went back to them, explained it, showed a picture of the pile of fat, and purchased a few New York steaks to shore up as I was going to be short on meat. I only asked that they contact me to work something out for the fact that I didn't exactly get a right product for my money. Even the manager agreed, upon looking at the photo, that this was not OK. He said the owner would call me. They took my number. All I wanted was a $60 in-store credit, explaining that I wouldn't be upset if I had to touch up a trimmed brisket to the tune of 1 lb of fat, but not 5.5 lbs... that's not unfair or unreasonable, right? One week later, no one called. I called them and left a voicemail. It's now been 3 weeks, and no one has called. I walked in today and was told, "owner's got your number, but he's busy". So, here is the review... There are enough butcher shops that I can easily go elsewhere. They won't see me again.

The best ribs I've eaten!!! ALL YOU CAN EAT! this place had amazing customer service and I felt the joy he had for his product. Everything is locally sourced! The buffet is Tues-sat 12-6 and sunday 12-4. Dive in!!!!!

Used the Groupon a few weeks ago, was impressed with the selection of smoked meat products to chose from. Picked up a rack of ribs, brisket and some pork belly then made the mistake of taking a look in the front case and ended up with a pound of the most amazing bacon I've ever tasted. Jumped back in the car to take the treasure home and only made it 2-blocks before I found myself reaching around in the sack to find a little nibble for the road. That was 4-5 weeks ago and I'm still dreaming about their products.

They have the most delicious beef ribs, lamb chops and chicken curry! The owner is so generous and kind! Definitely recommend!

I loved the Kobe Burger with Blue Cheese sandwich I had here and the service is awesome. Do drop by and enjoy a long and quiet lunch if you have the time. It's very quaint and cool here.

went for lunch, they have 4 menu items, burger, pulled pork, steak and cheese, and i forget the last item, but my wife and i had 50/50 burgers (beef/lamb) and they were great. got a rib eye to take home and it was awesome... great price for what it is..
