The best butcher in Seattle. Bar none. Excellent service, great meat...and I mean excellently sourced beef. Dry aged Ribeye and NY Strip are well priced and delicious. Marinated meats you must try: lemongrass chicken thighs, carne asada, Vietnamese grill pork. Must.

Great butcher shop, one of my favorite places in Columbia City! Quality is high and prices are reasonable. Save yourself from PCC prepackaged deli meats and come here.

Lovely young lady helped me purchase a package from them and managed to get me out of the door with 45lbs of various meats quickly. All while helping other customers. Efficient, clean and organized shop. First decent head cheese I've had in 4 years. So happy to have found my new butcher.

Excellent prices for locally sourced goods. Eggs, butter, marinades and sauces are also sold here. I havnt tried the service but I crunched some numbers and price per pound, the large bundle meat orders are a steal. Excellent place to shop if you're interested in making the move to affordable locally sourced businesses and goods. It's hard to find meat that comes from local farms, it's even harder to find that meat at such a good price.

Did a direct comparison taste test with some friends between Bob's and Whole Food's ribeyes recently, and Bob's won. Great little butcher shop, really good selection. Super glad to have found this place, because I'll probably buy all my meat here from now on. It's going to be a bit more expensive than buying the cheapest meat available at Safeway -- but it's going to be worth it, especially for steaks, ribs, or any other dish where you really want the meat to be the star.

My first visit there, but it seems to be a good old fashioned meat store. Decent selection of sausages and that kind of thing. Also good selection of other variety of meats, some seasoned. Some canned items in the shelf with their name, but it's canned for them and the counter person could not give me any information on the origin. Clean and well kept, staff are friendly. With the changes happening in this area I hope they will be able to stay in business.

Bob's Quality Meats is an obvious institution in Columbia City and I enjoyed my visit. I visited on a Friday afternoon and there was a short wait. It's a bit of a throwback to the local butchers in their white outfits and aprons. The people working there were friendly and answered any questions thoroughly. There was a large selection of meats and they had been busy because their stocks were somewhat lower for Father's Day. I was told by another customer that the butcher can do any cut you ask for and prepare it for you as well. I didn’t buy any fresh meats but I did buy a few pepperoni sticks. I bought the smoked, teriyaki, and the jalapeno sticks. All of them were good and salty but I enjoyed the jalapeno stick for its spicy kick that was a nice variation. The teriyaki was good as well with a bit a sweetness. I would definitely return for a great selection if I was in the market for fresh meat.

I love Bob's. Always friendly and willing to make a recommendation. I personally enjoy their sausage selection, everything from andouille to brats (my favorite). Definitely stock up on some frozen chirozo and Smith Brothers eggs for breakfast!

I love this place; great selection, knowledgable and friendly staff, and offerings that reflect the breadth of the community; everything from bbq ribs to Vietnamese marinated pork. The freezer is full of unique cuts and meats rarely seen in stores, I'm often inspired to broaden my menu based on what I see there.

I have found the best beef hotlink sausages around @ bobs I’m so excited I don’t eat pork so most of the time I end up with something that sounds incredible but it’s ruined by being in a pork casing. But @ Bobs they have come with the lamb casing I was so happy also it has kick to it a lot of times the spicy sausage when you can find it isn’t that spicy but Bob’s has Dailed it in to perfection. I also enjoyed the smoked chicken, great place friendly staff I’ll be hitting them up today.

Great long time local butcher. As the name say, "quality meats". Truth in advertising. Try the marinated meats - carne asada, lemongrass chicken, short ribs and the in store made sausages, especially the jalapeno cheese sausages! You can't go wrong.

Fantastic meat, always something else to tempt you as well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they never make you feel rushed and are happy to help you pick out what you want. Bob's also stocks a great selection of cooked and uncooked sausage and home made pepperoni.

I've been going to Bob's for awhile now, haven't been in a long time though. I walked in and notice things have changed after the fire. I must say though that Abraham the grandson of the owner knows his meat and made us feel real comfortable in making good choices to buy for our family. Thank you Abraham and staff for helping us out today. Will be back n I will bring my friends too.

Friendly staff and an awesome selection of quality meats. Grass fed dry aged steaks, ground bison and venison, free range jumbo chicken wings, and legs of lamb. It's honestly the way to go. Get your fruits and veggies from PCC, but get your meat from Bob's!

Bob's has been here for years - it's a true, old-school butcher's...even if you don't need meat, it is fun to look in because it's a slice of the old days. It's tiny and very similar to how to would have been on opening. Beautiful, beautiful selections of meat. Check out the artisinal bacon. I'm glad this gem managed to survive the long, dark period to reach Columbia City's renaissance. It is one of the only things left my grandparents would recognize!!

Called on a Friday night for daughters birthday - she wanted steaks and I wanted to do something special. Asked if they could get me Tomahawk cut Rib-eyes by 9am the next day. Abraham said he could. I showed up at 9am and he hand cut what I needed. When I asked how to "ruin" one of the steaks for a couple family members who like theirs well done, Abraham said don't do that and thru in a couple thin sliced rib-eyes for the blasphemers. Best steaks ever! I know where I am ordering holiday roasts or when I need that extra special cut!
