This is now my favorite place in East Nashville and that is saying something! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Salads are also great!
The folks that run the place are friendly, fast and customer centric. Plus, the music is always good too!
Do yourself a favor and eat here. FYI closed on Sunday!

If you like fresh-baked goodness, indulgent treats or savory food with diverse flavors, Fatbelly is for you. But even better — these people care about their customers and are the most exceedingly kind store owners in town. Even if they were rude, I’d keep coming back for the muffulettas, jalapeño cheddar pretzel spread and pretzel cookies. But because they are also so very compassionate, visiting their shop is as pleasing as enjoying their food.

The best pretzels and Sandwiches in town, anything you order here is delicious, customer service is amazing, Levon is great, thank you for making this a great dining experience, if you have a chance come visit, I'm sure I will definitely will be back

woah…like WOAH. stoked to have this gem so close to the house and for these guys to have a brick and mortar. we have been hunting their pretzels down at markets for the past 2 years and can’t get enough of them. i especially like the horseradish mustard - i have been known to eat it with my finger.
as far as the new spot goes, it’s a great vibe, with fast service. perfect place to go for folks who may have vegans in the group as they won’t go hungry. they offer a good variety of vegan things, as well as scooby doo level sandwiches, house made drinks and sweets.
you can’t beat a spot that’s family owned, chef owned, REAL PEOPLE owned, and completely non-prentious.
this place feels like nashville, like east nashville, and not like some coastal trust fund project.
support this spot and spots alike!
this fat belly will be back again and again.

This local power couple came to take Nashville by storm with their signature FatBelly Pretzels.
I’m GF/DF and thought very seriously about embracing the pain to sample their wares. I was especially tempted by the innovative sweet pretzel desserts - I may plan a trip in the future, gorge myself on pretzel danishes, babka, and pretzel cookies and deal with the days of suffering sure to follow.
Knowing I had food intolerances, I emailed a few days in advance to see what, if anything, I could try. I got an email back the same day with the suggestion of their Santa Barbara salad, sans pretzel crumbles and wheat berries, add a scoop of chicken salad.
Friends, let me just say - YUM.
My choice was fresh, filling, and delicious.
I watched 4 people I love dig in to various stuffed pretzel and dip combinations, moaning with pleasure as they devoured their delectable delights.
The smells alone were heavenly, and I'd go back to pleasure watch with or without my terrible plan to eat foods I'm intolerant to on purpose.
As you can see, I could go on about how wonderful our experience was, but really, you should check it out for yourself.
Pretty sure my husband's muffaletta sandwich weighed 3lbs. They have daily deli specials along with standard staples.
Do us all a favor and check it out yourself, and say HEY to Levon and Kim, pictured below.

Well I found the best breakfast sandwich in Nashville. I’m pretty sure this sandwich can cure the worst of hangovers and maybe even covid too.

This was not my favorite place. I have food sensitivities and had very few options. I paid almost $20 with tip for a very basic salad. I think it’s likely great for those who can have the pretzels and buns but this is not at all a place for those with any dietary needs. I’m here for a great salad, but if it’s going to be an expensive salad, it should be super delicious and could be with their ingredients and the right attention.

Incredibly good EVERYTHING, people, environment, delicious, unique...did I say ," delicious 😋 "? Best cold sandwiches, pretzels, and cookies, I've ever had! I'd give them 7 stars if I could ❣️👏 …

East Nashville has a new hot spot! My family and I stopped by today for some sandwiches and a dessert pretzel. Everything was delicious! Will definitely be coming back.

Visited here today for the first time and Loved it! I had the Cuban Sandwich and it was one of the best Cuban sandwiches I’ve had. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Glad to have this place in Nashville. I’ll be back!
