Amazing service. Old fashioned hot dogs, house made jerky (garlic pepper is the best!), and all the staples. I think a lot is from local farms too. I will never buy grocery store meat again.

Good quality product, fair enough prices, but don’t visit if you value your time. The ex-con that “helped” me was comically rude whereas I’ve gotten along great with all the other butchers previously. Didn’t need to hear his jailhouse stories while he’s being incredibly dismissive to customers with a line to the door.

I've been buying meat there for 30 years maybe 35 but it's always been good they always put up with me and I'm a tough customer to handle I'm the one that they make training films about the good people they have good meat and they make their own beef sticks that are great lol

I walked by this shop on a visit to Mnpls. Seemingly owner operated specialty butch who knows what they're doing. Prime meats, store made jerky and sausage. Tried the rice sausage stick and the regular jerky just to try something. Two seeming basic offerings among the selection, but were absolutely perfect. If you want quality product from someone who takes pride in their work with excellect service, this is an ace neighborhood meet market.

I was there earlier today with my fiancee to pick up some steaks for everybody at my apartment. The lady cut our steaks to very similar sizes as well as (or so it seems) trim a little bit of the excess fat off for us as well. The meat was incredibly well priced and well presented too. Just finished eating them and EVERYBODY loved the quality of the meat. We will be back incredibly soon.

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to review this place. Amazing meat and amazing prices! They have hard to find cuts like tri-tip, and the best boneless ribeyes. Their jerky is literally award winning. Try the prepared food from the food truck as well, it doesn’t disappoint. Service is friendly and helpful; these folks know their meats. What more can I say?

The owner is working more often than not and most days has a good story or anecdote to share. Dogs are welcome and they get some great treats. My favorite is the Delmonico (great for the grill with a few hours of marinade) and the Kingfield brat. Great prices and great choices.

Finer is the only place I could get side pork (pork belly) for making bacon when I first found them. I was calling basically every butcher in the cities. The service is great. The people are nice. The meat is good and the prices competitive. I love them for all the unusual things I can get like side pork, beef sliced for jerky, unusual cuts. Full service butcher shops are a dying breed and I will cling to these guys forever!

So glad they've reopened! Best selections, so prefer them over grocery stores. Great teriyaki jerky, smoked dog bones and pork chops. Walking in is like greeting old friends. When there's a line, worth the wait. Hooray!

An absolute throwback. Oldest continuous butcher shop in the Twin Cities, family-owned, and exactly the personable, friendly, caring touch you'd expect. Good meat, great recommendations, and phenomenal store-made beef jerky as well as sausage,and even cold cuts. Also, very reasonable prices - much cheaper than Clancey's or Lund's, etc.. Support local and give this place a try.

Been there a handful of times during summer of 2012. Great for ribs of all types: beef, pork, short and baby. Way cheaper than other places (like Lunds or Clanceys), but still good quality meat. Friendly service too.
