My wife and I had Rupena's cater our wedding this past weekend. The food was amazing! We got compliments from almost everyone that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding some included their own wedding in that statement! We had Spit Roasted pork and chickens cooked onsite. It was fun for us and the guests to be able to smell dinner and watch it be made fresh during set up and cocktail hour! Food was amazing, service was great, would highly recommend Rupena's catering department! (and meat counter we tried some brats, burgers, and salads when we went for our tasting great food all the way around!)

What can I say about Rupena's that people don't already know about (well at least for the regulars)....for everyone else.... Rupena's is an excellent down home top of the line shop. The food choices are excellent and the quality is hands down one of the best in town!!! The smoked Hungarian sausage among the others are FANTASTICLY delicious 🤤😋....hot ham and rolls on Sunday's is an absolute go to....if you haven't been here....a must stop 🛑 to find out for yourself 😎👍🎉🐷🐾

This is seriously the cutest little place ever. EVERYTIME I enter, I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile and asked if I need anything. For the space they have, they offer quite a bit of stuff. Haven't tried the hot food (yet) but the bakery is wonderful. Don't sleep on this place, I have nothing but good to say about the Mom and Pop grocery experience.

Despite the fact that they were closed for the day, they still answered my knock at the front door and made sure that my holiday gathering was successful. I have always had excellent quality products, and above excellent service at Rupena’s. In the over 26 years that I have lived nearby, I have always looked at them as an extreme asset to the community.

Great local market/grocery/deli with a varied selection of meats, cheeses, and meals. This store makes you feel at home. They make an awesome meatloaf and the best cheese steak sandwich in the area. Fish Fry Fridays, and Sunday Ham and Rolls with shorter lines than you'll get at other places.

State fair experience. Amazing! Seriously some of the best chicken I've ever had, and probably the best "bargain" at the fair. Enjoyed it both visits. Getting married out of town in 3 weeks, had I been doing it in town I'd be kicking myself if I didn't hire them to cater. The stuffing bites were incredible!

Great hometown store offering ole fashioned favorites and new! The meats are truly fantastic not similar to large chains. The deli is fresh and great as well. They carry a great variety of breads and the staff remembers you by name and truly appreciates your business! They offer many higher quality items most stores don’t and they also cater! It’s nice to still have that hometown feel while everything else these days are controlled by huge corporations!

Amazing family owned business! Highly recommend. I came here looking for kabob meat post the birth of my twins who are in the nicu at the Aurora hospital down the road. I was starving and decided to get their hot dish of meat loaf dinner and chicken pot pie! The owner john (?) started saying hi and making small talk… he was so kind and treated me like he’s known me forever, like family. He then proceeded to say dinner is on the house and congratulated me on my babies! I will continue to give my business to someone like that. It meant a lot to me!

Type as is excellent! Go for the hot bar, deli and meat counter. Everything is really fresh and priced great. Their produce department had a wide selection of offerings as did their wine/liquor departments. Staff (especially the younger girl who checked us out) are all amazingly friendly. As much as I love them, I was a bit saddened when the lady at the deli pulled her mask off to talk to 3 people she knew- each of them also taking off their masks. Every other staff and customer was wearing them.

Love this grocer. Great meat market with many unique items. The in house smoked beef jerky is some of the best I've had in a long. The staff at the meat market are great they recognize the regulars and a just as kind to new customers. This location also has a lunch bar for lunch to go and multiple soups to try. Can't miss!

11/10 customer service! I went to Rupena’s the other day to buy some hot ham and rolls and a young women named Kyra or Kira I believe, was very kind and enthusiastic. Not only that, but I was at an event catered by Rupena’s and saw the same young lady there with a few other Rupena’s team members. Very kind workers with refined manners and positive attitudes. Always super helpful the guys at the meat counter are very knowledgeable. Bakery and deli are great as well. I came in about a small issue I had and it was resolved so quickly and so respectfully not only makes sense thats they've been around for almost 95! Will always go back. Super service I can't say enough good things.

$11 for a steak sandwich on a kaiser roll... about the size of an Arby's sandwich. Not impressed with it, the fries, or the tiramisu, which ran me a total of$23 ish.

They have the best Hungarian Sausage! I lived 40 years without these...how you ask I’m not sure. But they are great. I usually patty my own burgers but had to use their pre pattied cheddar burgers. They were delicious. Everyone was stoked about them. Great place and great staff. Butchers are friendly and knowledgeable and will steer you on the right direction if you ask them. It’s a throwback experience and I love this place.

Dry goods and snacks are a little pricey, but the produce is good and reasonable and have stuff that is ripe marked down to eat today. But their meat and sausage is great! Good deli, and hotcase, Good Ham and rolls on Sunday. Don't be surprised if John the owner stops to ask you about your day. Very sweet people....Butchers Cashier's and all.

we actually got a quarter chicken and my husband got a piece of prime rib to eat and ate it there. the prime rib really needed some juice, just a bit dry.they have about 6 to 8 tables. you can build your own sandwich as well. the meat market was really nice. i didnt need anything but i got my dogs a couple smoked bones.

I ONLY buy meat there! Fresh ground or cuts. Their sausage is delicious! Have NEVER had a bad cut of meat from them. Old world style deli has delicious rolls and hot deli. Always very friendly and overly helpful.

Grass fed meats and bar none the beat steaks and ribs etc...Their specialty in my opinion is sausage. Italian, brats, Hungarian, polish etc..The Hungarians are so good my cousin drives over two hours to get them. Also they have a great variety of meats already prepared with stuffing or marinated.

Best meat from Milwaukee to Waukesha for sure! We live in New Berlin and make the drive just to get Rupena's! We love the pork tenderloin, seasoned with the secret seasonings of course, the chicken almondine (YUM!) the different marinated chicken breasts and the dog treats!! Always clean and inviting and the customer service is excellent as well! Everyone is always so nice there. Love shopping local and family-owned <3

A specialty grocery store with a limited selection as it's small and set up like a more old-fashioned grocery store. I specifically go here for the meat department. Rupena's meats and deli items are simply outstanding. You pay a fair amount more than say at a Big Box Grocery, but you definitely get what you pay for. Do you want quality or quantity? Rupena's offers quality meats at reasonable prices. They also provide cooking instructions and occasionally a recipe or two.

Above and beyond service. Rupenas is our local butcher and go to for meats and spices—love their beef and pork seasoning. Having a dinner party and learned one of guests is gluten free. We had already put seasoning on meat and meat on grill. Called Rupenas and asked for meat dept. She said they were closed but could she help. I asked if the seasoning was gluten free and she said yes, no MSG and all natural. Love Rupenas. Support this local company.
