Have bought so many steaks and seasonings from there, always great. The people are always helpful and hard working. Always have a large selection. So I was upset when I got a brisket from them that had so many random deep cuts. Looks like some kid got bored in the meat locker. Because of time constraints I had to use it anyways. Those big hunks of meat turn into dry hard Jerky like pieces of meat in the smoker.

This is a great meat market with lots of items related to cooking . Although they dont carry Ravens Seasoning from Armona Ca. or Texas BBQ Rub from Bill Cannon they do have one of the best cuts of meat you can find, yep the famed tri tip. BBQ runs straight through the heart of Texas and this cut when smoked has few equals. For all you pro BBQ folks who want to take your Q to the next level, Texas BBQ Rub has no equals, zero. As an aside I have tried most rubs and seasonings and these two are the very best.To me a well cooked trip tip with either Ravens or Texas BBQ rub as seen here and smoked, is the closest thing you can find to real Texas BBQ. There are only two tri-tip cuts per cow . I used to drive to Louisville to find these but find them here. Remember when cutting do not cut long ways but cut across the short part. I like mine cooked to medium rare and I achieve this with a Thermapen from Thermoworks.

I am from out of town and always wanted to visit your shop when I come into town and glad I did! The meats are reasonably priced and every thing is so clean and organized. 113.00 dollars later and I am a happy camper. I purchased bacon ( had some for breakfast at the campsite this morning, Yummy), Deli Bolonga which I had on a sandwich yesterday, It was the best tasting Bologna I have ever had, both 4 big ribery steaks, pork steaks, bourbon smoking chips, jar of Chow chow relish. A great experience! I would.highly recommend it. I will have to come back again to get some Brisket. I purchased a meat bundle for 105.00 today 10/7/2022. Same great service and great value.

The place has a nice selection of meats. The place was packed when we went (before noon) but I heard it's always busy. Friendly staff had us in and out in no time. My only gripe would be that there weren't enough push baskets. We will definitely make monthly visits to Boone's!

Boone has incredible local beef, pork and chicken. It does not taste like the GMOs meat that you get elsewhere. I think it cost just a little bit more than chain Groceries Stores, But, considering the taste, I think it is well worth it.. They have really good customer service as well.. I would highly recommend Boone Butcher Shop!

We travel about 90 minutes round trip to stock our freezer from Boones. We always get sausage, bacon, and Boston butts while we are there. We vary the steaks and other purchases but we haven't been disappointed with any of the purchases. Since they process on site, the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. Boone's is worth a trip!

I moved to KY from NYC almost 2 years ago and finally decided with hubby to drive from Radcliff to Bardstown to check this out and we were so happy to do so. We brought so much and were so shocked at our total, nowhere near what we thought. We are so happy to check this place out. Love this place! I asked for a prime rib roast for the holidays. They went in the back and the butcher cut one for me in just a few minutes. The employee that helped me (Victoria) was very friendly and knowledgeable.

My 1st time visit. Was shocked to see all the selections of meats and lots of other things such as spices, honey, pickles, ect ect. To much to mention. I had them cut me a 2" ribeye to cook on the smoker. I was very pleased with the service, quality of the meats, and the whole experience. Will definitely return .

Great selection and great quality. I had an issue with a meat bundle and it was taken care of without any issue. It wasn't a big issue, but still nice too get excellent customer service. TRY THE PORK BURGERS! They might be my new favorite thing to grill. Also the Boone's bologna is like the old fashion bologna. Not full of fillers. Many of their select grade meats are better than many grocery stores choice or prime grade. It's also a very nice motorcycle ride from Versailles via US62.

Yum. Great selection of delicious products well priced. We went back for more meat to take on the road with us. Different from so many butcher shops where the prices are way above grocery stores. Had a rib eye, thick pork chops, hot dogs, breakfast sausage, and ground chuck burgers. All from contented steers or oinkers. I guess they ate all that tasty KY grass!

I guess I'm old fashion but I believe when a buisness has its doors open you should get the same service 20 minutes before closing as you do 20 minutes after they open. I understand people are ready to go home at the end of the day but at the same time people are still trying to get the things they need for their families. I tried to get my country ham for our Christmas dinner tomorrow but instead the lady said they done cleaned the slicers and rushed me to the register with the few things i managed to get off the shelf. Im not putting Boones Butcher shop down at all. Their products are second to none in town and Im sure if Jerry knew how things happened he would be highly aggrivated to say the least. I worked there myself during highschool and they always strived to keep their customers happy. Its just sad how 1 employee can hurt a buisness. Ill definitely be back and hopefully that employee will be on her day off.

This place stays busy. They have a good selection of quality meats. Service is very efficient, just hope that you don't get in line behind someone with a large order. The place is very clean. They also provide a service for the deer hunters, so that they can get their meat processed, which I think is neat. I forgot to mention that they also have a deli so you can order sandwiches, chips and a drink. Which I have had before and it was pretty good. We go at least once a month, so I'll be back.

Haha Someone Berned them. Great place for all your proteins. Their meats are fresh and preservative free. No added water or other junk you'll find from grocery store meats. The weekly specials are always AWESOME! Follow their Facebook page for weekly flyers & photos. They'll also do specialty cuts, have deli meats & cheese, even some seafood. My Wife and I drove over from Campbellsville. We bought a little over $100 worth of beef pork fish and chicken. Fish fried up really nice pork shoulder really good but their sausage sucks. Wished I had just bought a small roll. It fries up with a rubbery texture that means fillers. Its not like the sausage from slaughter houses around here.

Huge selection of meats and cuts from every part of the animal. The deli counter not only provides you for orders of specific meat to how you want it, but also sliced sandwich meat. For immediate happiness, you can also get sandwiches made, perfect for lunch. Its a small 30 minute drive but I will be back many times. Nothing beats fresh meat from a quality butcher.

Busy. (It's deer season you know) You go inside, give 'em your name. They give you a buzzer and you sit in your car while they box up your frozen venison, they buzz you as they're bringing it out the door. It's very efficient. They spread a lot more asphalt for this Covid crowd.

Quartered my deer and brought it to them for the cuts and sausages. My god. BEST SAUSAGE EVER. I was going to make my own sausage , but WHY ? I couldnt have made it as well or as tasty as they did. . Also - I noticed that I was able to get alot more poundage from the deer I brought to them compared to another processor.. Now ... onto the price. Not only FAIR prices, but when you take into account that they are able to utilize more deer from your quarters ... well ... it just all adds up to a quality service with good prices.

Boone's is in my home town, Bardstown, KY. I have been going there for 40 years. I now live in Louisville so it is a bit of a drive, but every few months we load the car with coolers and drive out. All my steaks and porkchops come from there. Also they have a good line of spices and Bloomfield Mill products are good and even have gutton free. I easily recommend it.
