Amazing butcher very large premises with soft drinks, wine, various delicatessens, sandwiches and of course all kinds of meat. I've purchased some liver which is not easy to find in regular supermarkets an impressive business.

This thanksgiving we had a mix ups with the turkeys. It was in no way butcher blocks fault. I’ve been going to Ron and his team for years now and they have accommodated custom orders, specific cuts and a list of other stuff. They have always been extremely professional and their quality has literally never strayed. If you’re not so knowledgeable they can advise you on cuts and what may suit your occasion. Ron did more then he had to for me today and I greatly appreciate it. Thank you. -Joey

5-30-21 No mask required! Nice! My wife had the steak burger with fries. I had the Barbeque pork sandwich with Sweet potatoe tots. Holy $h!zzl€! Amazing! I tried a few bites of the steak burger and it was excellent! The seasoned fries were awesome! My Barbecue Pulled Pork sandwich was out of this world awesome! The sweet potato tots were seriously great! We purchased some sausages and steak burgers to cook at home. They have a great selection of domestic and exotic meats! Dry rubs and sauces. Good selection of prepackaged frozen choices also! The service is great and everyone is helpful. Seriously check this place out! We will definitely be back soon!

New favorite Vegas shop. Quality knowledgeable people, clean and reasonably priced. For the attached burger shop: Their steakburgers should be more famous. They are a little cheap with the side tots tho.

I always get great meats and things here, the butcher is very nice he will cut you whatever kind of meat you want, today I got a 1 bone bone prime rib roast, and a piece of sushi grade king salmon, the salmon was amazing! The roast I seasoned myself, and ready to cook!

Solid spot. Already liked the one in Henderson, this is equally as good. Only gone a couple times to each one and every time the customer service is great. Very clean too. Can't wait to try the deli menu food once things start getting back to normal

We asked about 3 years ago for them to make honey garlic sausage. My husband is from Canada and it is his favorite from back home. We have ordered did every year for Canada day and every year it gets better! Thank you for making it special! Also have a great selection of sauces and cheese. You will not be disappointed!

First time coming here after many recommendations from others. Bought the 3 thickest cuts in the case, which were NY strips; plus 10 lobster stuffed mushrooms. The quality of beef to price ratio was amazing. Customer service behind the counter was on point and I thank him for the cooking tips. Definitely worth the premium and will most certainly return.

This was my go to spot before Covid. Now that I'm back in the office, I needed something to make me happy and this place does it for me. I ordered a brisket sandwich which was fire!!! The sandwich roll was delicious. Not too soft and not too firm. Just right to hold all this delicious meat. The brisket was tender and the sauce was sweet. The wasn't fatty at all. If you have a hankering for a bbq sandwich stop in. They have pulled pork, tri tip sandwiches and cold sandwiches to name a few They also have a full service butcher section.

They might not have everything, but boy do they have a lot! If you don't see what you want out front ask one of the staff and they'll run in the back and usually come back with it. Steaks of all ages and cuts, good pork, chicken, homemade sausages, fantastic ribs, a small seafood section, and a huge supply of exotic meats! There's even a deli inside with a nice selection of boar's head products, if you're looking for a butcher on the southwest side of vegas give it a try. I'd give it a full five stars but the prices are a bit higher on some of the items than I'd like.

The selection and quality are what sets Butcher Block above the rest. If it’ll be your first time there, their website is a good place to preview what items they have and what’s popular. To the left of the main store is a deli where they serve up hot or cold subs. I recommend both spots!

Only thing I can say is $85 for a Tomahawk Rib Eye is beyond the beyond. I can go to best Steakhouse in Vegas and $130 can have it plus salad and sides. It had 50% fat not marbling sorry $40 a lb for hunk of fat is criminal...I normally don't write negative reviews but I was scammed...

OMG. We are so blessed to have this butcher in our city. My wife and I came to the 🌈 location and fell in love with all of the meats they have to offer. It was incredibly different than your costco and any other competition. The first meat we tried was the kobe steaks. So tender and flavorful. We are sold and will never stray away to store bought again. Thank you guys for keeping the old style butcher shop alive. Las Vegas is lucky to have such a place for its residents.

You have to try the new deli area called Chip off the Block. The food there is amazing. It's all fresh made, so be prepared to wait a little. It's not fast food. It's great food! Omg and the beef jerky is awesome. This is my favorite little shop. It has hard to find selections and everything is of exceptional quality. I can't recommend it enough!

If you grew up in the Midwest before grocery stores had butcher counters and remember the old places with the U arrangements of meat counters this place is for you. They found in the back a large tri tip roast, cut 12oz filets for me and have custom seasoned and ground burger patties as well as having some if the largest NY Strip steak cuts I've seen. They have both T-Bone and Porterhouse steaks and I didn't even look at the other two counters fully. One looked like it might be a sausage counter and not sure what the other was..perhaps pork and other meats. If you do Grilling and Smoking BBQ this is your place. No it is NOT inexpensive but probably the best quantity of quality meat selection I've seen in years. I spent almost $160 for my choices but that is 4-5 meals over time.

This is my favorite butcher in a three state area! I actually plan out my LV visits around great food and food options. The Butcher Block is a main reason for keeping coolers in my trunk. The hamburgers really are the best burgers anywhere and every other option in the store is the best quality that can be found. Love‼️

I've known Ron for many years. He's got an amazing background that offers his customers the best of everything... and that includes prices, not just quality, selection and customer service! The Butcher Block is so amazing that it survived during the recession AND was able to expand to the North side of town as well as open sandwich shops. Ron has special ordered items for me on many occasions. When he doesn't have something in stock, he calls right there on the spot to find out if/when he can get it and how much it will cost me. He has also ordered 1/2 a cow for me! Everything was customized. How many of which kinds of cuts, each one separately sealed for freezing/freshness and all the left over meat used in the best way possible, ie: ground beef. Basically, The Butcher Block is amazing! As is Ron, his wife and the staff. They REALLY CARE about people and their needs. Be prepared to wait during high times (holidays and around end of work day hours). IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT!

The steaks are way better than anything you will find in a grocery store. But the burgers are AMAZING!!!! The Ghost Pepper burger was literally the best burger I've ever had!!!! The staff is very helpful as well. They will recommend how to cook it or what goes good with it.

Don’t let the negative Nancys keep you from checking this shop out. Went this morning to check it out and pick up some celebration steaks. So incredibly glad I did. Fantastic service and friendly vibe from all staff members. Really impressed with steak quality. Beautiful marbling on the American Waygu. Can not wait to get these ribeyes on the grill tonight. Will definitely be back.

Visiting friends and they recommended this shop. Excellent selection of meats (including exotics), sauces, spices (smoked salt) and other accompaniments. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There's also an attached restaurant, though I haven't had a chance to try it.

This place is amazing. Their selection is pretty darn good. Not as much grass feed beef options as I would have liked but I won't let that affect the rating. They staff was amazingly friendly, they are concerned with providing a good experience which is not something you really get at a grocery store. A lot of their meats come pre-marinated (tumbled style) and there's quite a selection of them. The Carne Asada (hot) was to die for... we cooked up a pound of it at medium rare and it was destroyed by everyone in about 2 minutes. Found one of my new favorite places to buy food.

I conducted three separate dinner parties out of town (in Las Vegas). Having lived in Vegas for many years, but about 10 years ago, I was blindly looking for meat purveyors, and Yelp led me to The Butcher Block. I called them first, so that I could be prepared for when I got to Las Vegas. Unfortunately, and why I didn't give 5 stars, I was on hold for 20 minutes, and then hung up on. Gilbert redeemed himself and phoned me back, apologizing, as he was the only one working the store, answering phones, helping customers, etc. He put me at ease when we spoke about the meats I needed to pickup a few days later, even suggested thawing out the ground veal late Saturday night so that I could pick it up on Sunday anytime. I put in an order for ground veal, beef, and pork for my veal meatballs and pans of lasagna bolognese. He was very helpful and polite. When I came into the Butcher Block that Sunday around 5, Gilbert was there and ready with my order, even when I needed an extra pound of the ground meat. He knew who I was by name, and I immediately felt the level of customer service. His voice sounds like that of Rocky Balboas' and for whatever reason it won me over. After all ayyyyy Rocky worked in a butchers warehouse! Btw, the meat was perfectly ground and top quality, I had only compliments on my meatballs and lasagna dishes.

We came here on accident trying to find a different shop but couldnt remember the name. We were there awhile trying to google the other place... Meanwhile the employees kept asking us if we had been helped or needed anything. We kept sayin no because we didnt think they would have super think meat. We asked them if they could cut us some and the guy said yes but in a few hours after the meat was frozen to make it possible to cut so thin. So we looked for something else. But then a manager or older gentleman came by and asked us what we wanted the meat for and took the time to show us a different thing but oractically the same thing. We decided to get it. It was amazing. I was really blown away that he wanted to actually help in assisting us with what we wanted and the fact that he knew everything about everything in the store. Would recommend over and over again!! Thank you! :)

Really truly quality meats here. So much better than the meat counter at a grocery store. My wife and I get wagyu steaks for a fraction of the price we'd pay at a restaurant and I feel it even tastes better than if I were eating out on the strip paying hundreds of dollars.

Awesome staff, super clean shop, very high quality meat, tons of pre-cut meat/steaks/pork/etc... available for immediate purchase and if they don't have what you want you can order what you want and they will butcher meat to preferred size. Game meat is available here, IE: venison, elk, and buffalo (which is fantastic for those of you who haven't tried it.)

First time here and I been looking for a place that has good bratwurst and so I picked up a pound to try and their pretty good really lean could use just a little bit more fat in them they were a little bit dry to my liking but the flavor is pretty good.I used to buy brats at a meat market in Phoenix back in thr 80's and they spoiled me I guess but this place has good bratwurst. It's hard to find a place that makes really outstanding brats anymore unless your in either Wisconsin or Germany lol. So the search continues but the Butcher Block is the best I've found in Vegas. I'm new to the area so any suggestions would be appreciated. I tried a place called Tina's Gourmet Sausages and what they sold me was not bratwurst it was knockwurst and I was less than impressed. They do have outstanding pork belly though very tasty👍the older gentleman that had cooked it done an outstanding job just the right amount of salt. Anyway if there are any other Bratwurst connoisseurs out there right a review and let me know where to go.

Went all over town from every large grocery store to independent butcher shops looking for a 109 prime rib for xmas dinner. Nobody sells 109's! There is more wastage with a 109 but properly prepared they make an insanely better prime rib! I called The Butcher Block, got voice mail, and left me message with ph#. Rob called me back, said they dont have the rib I wanted, and he understood why I wanted it. He understood I knew how to prep it. The next day he called me back and said he found a 109 and if I wanted it he would order it in for pickup the next day. Of course I took him up on it. Quality product with customer service at a reasonable (not Whole Foods) price will always get my business. Edit: after picking up my prime rib I was thrilled with the quality. Very nice marbling. I cooked it for Xmas dinner to med-rare. Made my own au jus and 17 people raved about the prime rib. I'm thrilled to get the quality and cut I want that is just too hard to find elsewhere. Great job Rob and thanks for finding that 109 for me!

This is where to go for the meats that you need. I usually make some requests for odd parts and cuts and the Butcher Block always comes through. If there is something that you are looking for, but can't find anywhere else, ask these guys and they'll find a way to get it to you. Also, if you get a chance, grab some of the rubs and spices. I went with the steak rub and it changed my rib eye experience!

I have no idea why people are b*******. the owner is very nice. actually will help you bring out your food if you like. been going there for 3 years from out of state. then moved here when go anywhere else the product Saidi hazard unbelievable from regular to wild. I say thanks for the shop. I average 400 dollars every 2 weeks there and you can't buy a better stay around so don't believe everything on got Internet. believe me. no reason to lie.
