The staff are friendly and helpful. The store has a large variety of sauces, spices, and other accouterments. Good quality meat. I buy brisket from them and it is always wonderful.

My wife and I really like this place. They have a great meat selection and it's always fresh. Never purchased a bad steak here! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is clean. They also have a WONDERFUL beer selection. The only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because they're a little pricey...especially the beer. Overall though, great spot!

I stopped by here last week and I was blown away! My family had some friends over and we purchased filets, beef ribs, tomahawks and some strips. My son Cooper is so picky when it comes to food at all and he asked for seconds. We will absolutely be back this week. Don't waste your time buying your meat at other places if you are with in 50 miles of their front door you should be getting your cuts here period!

I’ve been getting meat here for about a year and the quality is superb!! The reason for my one star review however is that the last 4 or 5 orders have not been so great...I purchased a pound of sausage on May 1st; on May 2nd it had already turned rancid. Same with a pound of hamburger I recently bought. Today I laid out a package of what was to have been chicken tenders to thaw for dinner...when I went to make dinner realized they had given me thighs which are disgusting so I had to run to the local Jay C to purchase meat for dinner... Edit: owner made the issues right

I live in Louisville and have heard tales about this place. So, I decided to drive 9.5 miles to visit. I am so glad that I did. The selection of meats and sausages was great. The staff was friendly and quite helpful. I purchased a bit more than I wanted - but it was worth it. They also have pure lard that they render themselves! Just a warning folks - I'll Be Back!

I absolutely love this place. They have everything from meat and sea food to produce and beer/wine. They also sell local made cheese and deli meats. The price is right for great quality local products. The service is always friendly. Last time I was in a very young blonde child schooled me on how to obtain a whole/half cow (lucky kid).

I use to buy my meat from kroger until I stopped here. You can taste the quality. The ground beef tastes 100% better than the Laura Lynn I bought. My burgers swelled in size rather than shriveled. They have a lot of different items including duck, Amish chicken, fish, and shrimp. The store smells clean and the staff is always helpful. Oh one last thing the prices are awesome!

Awesome store with great service and products. New ownership with Samantha and John Huber (January 1st, 2017) has taken it to a quality level unmatched in the area. Love the new layout and additional products available including beer and wine. Cannot go wrong here!!!

It's a real good place to go for real good meat they have a big variety of ever thing seafood chicken some frozen products try it I did and I don't buy my meat anywhere else no some of the people could be a little more friendly but not complaining its all good.

We absolutely LOVE preferred meats. The amish eggs we get there are fantastic. My wife doesn't get any headaches after eating them like she does from store bought ones. We enjoy the ground chuck and steaks as well. I think we've tried just about everything they have. Sausage, bacon, brats, you just can't go wrong!

Excellent beef, bacon and sausage. They sell dairy from JD Country Milk in Kentucky which is low heat pasteurized and non-homogenized. Only had a problem with product once and when I called they took my name and I brought it to them the next time I was in--replaced, no problem.
