A simple no frills hole in the wall deli with simple food, and large portions. They stick to the absolute basics and do it well. A triple threat shiner is pricey and not particularly healthy but if you eat that you are good for the day. Service tends to be pretty good when they aren't crowded. You have to cut them some slack at night because the place is next to 50 bars and tends to be packed full of drunk college kids.

Literally my favorite lunch/dinner selection in Burlington. Variety of foods, great customer service, fair prices and reasonable hours for a take-out only restaurant. DO CALL AHEAD! They're always busy, so save yourself the wait at the front and order over the phone 15-20 minutes in advance. I support this local business regularly.

KKDs is a staple for any college student, or really anyone at all. I've been getting delicious sandwiches here for the better part of a decade now and the service and staff are absolutely always on point. On our last visit we drove 2.5 hours from Brattleboro, VT just to get a sandwich here. It's really the best place around.

The only reason it looks scrunched is because I got it to go. Amazing! Friendly helpful service. I will definitely be back to try some more of their "Rise and Shiners" in the future. It's definitely a spot where locals go because of the quality and fair prices. A real hidden gem amongst all the tourist spots near by which are usually super over priced

Traveling from KY to VT, wanted to try as many local places as possible. This place is a must if you’re looking for a lunch (or breakfast) on the go. Made sure to get to items with signature Vermont cheese and was definitely impressed. Other reviews also show that this deli is more than a gem, it’s a local landmark.

(Drunken nights especially hits the spot) try the Mahoney with garlic mayo or the Philly with garlic mayo 🔥👌 friendly staff and always an experience. When I visit Burlington, this is always a must stop place. Its a small little deli, that offers a large variety of foods that are actually good. They have some crazy hours, 6:00 am to 3:30 am. So, you can get some food almost 24/7 from here. It is a short walk from pretty much anywhere in downtown Burlington. I haven't had everything on the menu, but you can't go wrong with the Risers and Shiners. My favorite items is actually the Buffalo Chicken Chef Salad. It is packed with veggies and deli meats, and the buffalo sauce is really good. They also have a huge selection of drinks, basically a wall of fridges filled with all kinds of drinks. And they have a good selection of chips and freshly baked goods.

This little shop made one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I highly recommend “The Triple Threat” sandwich if you like a little bit of everything. Eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, 3 kinds of cheese, and hash browns on a soft bun — you can’t go wrong. Service was also quick and friendly.

Good place for a quick, quality bite. The sandwiches range from $4.50 (grilled cheese) to like $10. They have a really great menu that has vegetarian options, breakfast all day, and other subs & wraps. The worker sort of had an attitude which bothered me. My meatball grinder wasn't warm either, but it tasted great regardless. Would recommend.

Amazing food to be honest. Ordered from here yesterday for the first time. 2 Vermonters and 2 large fries. It's always hard finding a place that my gram likes because she is too picky, but she couldn't stop saying good things about the burgers and the fries reminded her of her younger days going to Al's. The burger I had was perfect and the fries were great as well. Highly recommend stopping here and look forward to stopping in and grabbing another burger myself.

Their breakfast sandwiches are the best around, hands down. The bacon shiner is what I always get, and it comes with a hashbrown on it. I've also gotten the patty melt, which is HUGE, and it tastes great. This place is literally open 20 hours a day, so it's a prime spot for drunk food. Haha. If you're downtown drinking, and you get the drunk munchies, this is the place to go to. Honestly their food is good whenever🤷‍♀️ highly recommend 👍

Outstanding breakfast sandwich (go with a shiner to get the hashbrown) but the roll just leaves you wanting more. It's really not a traditional breakfast sandwich bread, more of a burger bun. Bread is similar to Amoroso rolls, Philly people love it, others dont get it.

This small standing-room-only deli has an old-school charm, reasonable prices, and expansive menu. (breakfast all day!) But what truly makes it stand out is the Triple Threat sandwich. Having searched high and low, I still haven't found a breakfast sandwich anywhere in New England that compares. Come in with an open mind and empty stomach and it's impossible to be disappointed

The sandwiches and burgers are usually pretty good, but don't get the fries. Especially when delivered they tend to be soft and soggy. Once in awhile you luck out, and if you manage to get crispy cajun fries they are great! But KKD swings and misses a lot more often than they hit on fries. If you do get delivery, make sure all the items are there before the driver leaves. It's not unusual for something to be missing.

*UPDATE* After I wrote this review, the owner contacted me. He apologized for the error and sent me coupons for free sandwiches to make up for the error from the other day. A+ customer service response. **************** Pretty disappointed. Ordered online, was handed the wrong order. Finally handed my correct order, got home and all it had on it was the meat and condiments. No veggies (I only specified no pickles and no hot peppers, but was supposed to come with tomato, onion, lettuce, and green peppers), and no cheese. I'm not happy I spent $12 on this lame sub.

It's hard to mess up a sandwich, and KKD'S is no exception. Reasonably priced carb based meals for the masses. Open until 3 am every night of the week. For sheer efficiency the Michigan Dog is your best bet.
