Mr. Barritt is kind and wonderful fountain of knowledge. There are lots of genres and lots of authors. Also, his wife is an artist and he sells her paintings in the shop. They are very nice and worth a look.

The “Alabaster Slim”

What a spectacular find! A tradition my wife and I have for vacations is visiting a local book store and buying from them. Typically we get one or two but we left with 10 this time! The owner's were friendly, deeply knowledgeable about so many of the authors their books. The prices were amazing and some of there inventory was pretty rare! It was really fun to shop there and the best part was the sweetest chocolate lab that likes to get petted and helps you find books low on the shelf!

Tons of mass paperback and hardcover books! Had a decent selection of current books. Mostly towards the front of the store. Scored a decent haul. All softcover are 50% the cover price. Hardcovers are cheaper. Love me some books!!

Came here with my mom to look around and left with two bags of books! Its a cute little shop full of books with a welcoming and cozy feel to it! We got to meet and talk to who I assume are the owners, a sweet couple and their dog. They recommended some good books to my mom and I, and even picked one out for me :) Once I finish my books from this haul I'll definitely be back! My mom said the could spend all day in there, and honestly couldn't have said it any better. We'll be back soon! :)

Greta place welcome anytime as you please, thru don’t follow you to ask you questions all they say is give you the sections an name an price an that’s about it really I love it it give you time to see an think what you looking for or what you want to red, they are good people here me an my wife been going here for 3 years now I have at least over 120 books from this man he is great what he does he can hold a good conversation y’all lol I’m only 23 but I love talking to older people they are interesting people an you can learn an grow from them an the things they say people like him are wise an give you the dog deep of no doubt i high recommend this place 100% I don’t care what they negatively other comments say . Those people are just simple minded an silly lol.

I went in this morning today pick up some books and their prices were great for the quality. The most expensive book I got was 5$ and it was in nearly perfect condition as a hardback book. I’m really pleased with what I got and will continue to go there! They are so nice to you too!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! I love coming to this store and visiting with Godiva (resident chocolate lab). The environment is fantastic for a book lover and I could browse and read here for hours at a time!!

The staff is nice, and the overall selection is pretty fair. My only complaint is that their trade-in policy for used books is not very good compared to some other stores I've been to.

Lots of books, shy variety. Mostly mass paperback mysteries, romances, and other series. Great place for those. Less available in newer books and books for children or YA.
