A very cute store with a great selection, and the kindest owner. Perfect place for when you want to indulge in a new book but are not really sure what to go with. The descriptions on the shelves are really helpful for figuring that out! They have a lot of fun stuff other than books as well.
Also, while I was there the owner showed great care to keep the number of people inside limited, it was nice to see them taking this seriously.

Absolutely the cutest bookstore I've ever been in. Organized by "moods" and frankly more places should do that; it made looking for books much more enjoyable. The owner was also so helpful and sweet. I can't get over how cute it is. Definitely check it out!

Absolutely gorgeous store. Cheerful, colorful, with many gifts and bookish accoutrements. The books are organized by subject and mood, not by genre, which is a lovely way to shop.

Cutest and best bookstore in Cap Hill and maybe Seattle, come see for yourself! It feels like a carefully curated selection of books to fit every mood and purpose. Rainy day vibes? There's a shelf for that. Low self esteem? Shelf for that. The owner is chill and friendly and has an excellent taste in music. 12/10 feels like both a curation and your bestie's living room

So much fun and so much stuff for a new little "shop around the corner" on Capital Hill. I've spent a lot of time in the neighborhood and this destination was needed. Conveniently half a block North of Safeway and Kaiser (where I fought and beat cancer!), mixed right in with the unique services and eateries along this very walkable Avenue.
Books from many genres, fairly priced and a good assortment for all ages. Oh, they also have little gift items mixed around the bookshelves. Stroll by for some relaxing book exploring and gift shopping.

Lovely and Cary is charming. It's hard to walk out empty-handed.
