Reviews of Oasis Games
Great place for unique board games! Also, if you're into playing Magic or Pokémon they have so many cards! Staff is super friendly, and there is always something going on every time we go in.
Oasis is not particularly close to me, but I’m lured up at least yearly for a free pack through their customer appreciation program. I was very impressed by their selection and prices after a couple years not going up during the pandemic. Will be looking to head back more than previously I think to peruse their used board game section and extensive collection of older sealed magic.
Oasis Games is incredible! It's definitely my favorite game store in the city. Not only are the staff helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, the atmosphere and community at the store is awesome! I've met several really good friends there whom I spend time with outside of our nights at Oasis, but going there to play Commander are some of my favorite nights of the week!
This is store is a place where needs and family come together. Josh the owner of the store takes great cares about his business and the people that work for him. I come here for a great time with my friends and they always buy cards. So I can always have something to do for my mtg addiction.
We visited the store twice while visiting Salt Lake. Our boys love Pokémon cards and the staff at the store spent extra time to show our boys different packs. They also let them pick out a free card from the binder. The attention to our boys was wonderful. Definitely check out the store
Game Oasis is GREAT! From their wide selection of board games to the variety of Trading cards they carry; vintage to modern...they always have something cool in stock.
The staff is fantastic, they know their regulars and even if you're new, they are very knowledgeable about all the products and don't talk down to people. They're always willing to help people learn and feel welcome.
They also have a calendar with their goings-on; whether it's a "build a deck night" or mini tournaments, or pre-release days. There's a big area in the shop to sit with friends and play games like Magic, DnD, or even Warhammer.
They also buy (some) card and game products. I've traded in Pokemon, and Magic The Gathering Cards with them. I felt like they gave me a very good price for the amount and conditions of my cards.
Would highly recommend Game Oasis, and I know I'll be a lifelong customer.
Very interesting smell occurs when these gamers get together here! Not good! I was reminded of my time spent in Qatar, I worked as a kitchen chef at McDonald's amd bevause I didn't speak the language (I was there for my ex husband's job) they forced me to be on "grub duty" anyway, I came in here to buy randy Jackson trading cards but was unable to find them. Great store!
I love the staff here, they're always great to talk to, and are always incredibly helpful. It's also a great place to come play board/card games with friends when your apartment is too small to host game night.
Best board game store in Utah by far! LGBTQ+ friendly, excellent prices, helpful staff, and plenty of events and room to play games. Oasis is the epitome of a friendly local game store.
As someone who is a newcomer to the world of Pokémon, with a young child who just started collecting, I’ve found the staff at Oasis Games to be super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Their selection of Pokemon products is hands down the best and biggest of any store I’ve found in Salt Lake County.
Best Game Store in the state easily. They have a huge selection of board games, tabletop gaming supplies, MtG singles and more. The only way they could get better is by bringing back the cafe and booths, but even that would just be the cherry on top.
Lots of space to place cards. Good selection of product. Inside of store could use updating with a fresh coat of paint to start. Overall cool place.
Came for a MTG Tournament. Shop was clean and well run. Owner even bought us lunch. One of the best game shop experiences I’ve ever had.
This shop is a wonderful homage to the brick and mortar game stores from years past. Nice activity and a full calendar of table top events posted, ranging from war games through TTRPG nights.
Excellent local game store. I recommend it to anybody looking to start a playing any type of game or trading card collection or just add to your collection.
Knowledgeable staff, MASSIVE array of board games, they have a customer loyalty program, they host events often and have lots of tables for sessions with your friends. Give it a visit, you will not regret it.
They basically have anything you'd want for card games. It's like a local tcgplayer. Although you could find some cheaper options on tcg, the staff are fun to be around and always are up for giving tips on deckbuilding.
No idea where to park. But it’s a pretty well stocked shop. Has a bit of everything. Lots of different events always going down. Has a little coffee shop indie. Comfy looking seats and spots to chill for a bit.
Amazing store. My Son will only shop here for his Pokémon cards. 10 out of 10. They actually care and love what they do.
This place is awesome! Family friendly and lots of fun games to try and play. They have an amazing assortment of magic cards, and they hold matches of several different card games throughout the month. Ordering online makes it easy to get what you're looking for, so don't hesitate to stop by!
Great place for MtG cards. They sell singles and will buy cards as well.
Edit: Oasis moved to a much larger and nicer location. They now have all sorts of strategy board games and RPG stuff as well. I was pleasantly surprised that they carry a good selection of D&D books and minis. Staff is helpful and outgoing.
Lots of tables to play games big variety of games and supplies. They have a little snack counter where you can grab a deli sandwich and coffee.
Super helpful staff, pretty welcoming atmosphere. Been playing board games and D&D for a while, and they have a good selection. I just got into Magic, and everyone knows how to help and how to get me started. Great LGS
Best of the best! Board game selection is a bit less than others, but well curated. Their events are lively and fun.
Best card shop in the SLC valley! They offer the best price when selling cards and have great product. All employees are friendly and helpful.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I ordered some cards and they put it togetjer very quickly. Great atmosphere. I regularly play card games in their play area.
Great place for gaming. Whether you're into ; Dungeons and Dragons, board games, or Magic the gathering this place has it all. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all their products.
Always treats me right. And I am just getting into these games. Staff is beyond knowledgeable and has no problem answering my dumb questions. It’s the only place I’ll buy these games.
Great store! Best selection of board games in the valley! And they're quick and fair with Pokemon tcg trade ins!
5 stars because. They are being very careful not to spread covid 19; facemasks and sanitizer are free & available.
They have playing tables, great service, great selection of mtg cards & other games, and pretty good pricing.
Atmosphere is great. Always fun talking to the staff about what games they enjoy. Highly suggest oasis for your tcg, boardgames, or collectibles.
The employee's and the boss of the store are such kind and awesome people I will 100% recommend people who loves games to go to Oasis Games and Check it out.
This store never let's me down. Had to spread the love to the other patrons of the store.
Fantastic customer experience I am never disappointed here. They also have some of the greatest selection of products I have ever seen anywhere.
I go there all the time for my MTG and Pokémon TCG needs, chill staff, perfect place to have for or be a Spike 🤠 …
Had an awesome time at oasis! Stopped by for some trading cards, and Austin was a great help with picking things out! He was super friendly and excited to help me out! Best experience I've had at a game store!
They have a wide range of games to buy. They even can order things for you that they don't have in store, such as Magic Cards. They have a good selection of D&D Figurines that you can paint yourself and they have monthly events for people so that you can come play games with fellow gamers. The setup of the shop and ambiance is rad and the staff are very nice and helpful. This is by fat the coolest game shop in Salt Lake.
Fantastic store with very friendly staff and an incredible selection of anything you could need. I love buying MTG singles here and I can find the most consistent supply of Ultimate Guard products here.
Place has literally anything you could ever ask for in an LGS. It's run well, the staff was helpful in my search for what I was looking for. I would rate this a 4.5 overall because their vintage pack pricing was incredibly high based on what market value prices are. That's the only negative thing I have so I didn't feel right knocking a star off for something that small. Overall, a fantastic LGS! One of the best I've ever seen in the country by far.
I love Oasis! They always have cards and game products that I'm looking for, and the staff is so kind and helpful!
I will be trying to come more and more in the future!
Love the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff. It's like Olive Garden, when you're here, you're family.
Great staff that are always super friendly and obviously love what they do/talking about everything going on with cards and games with guests. Store is always super tidy and you feel welcomed walking in. Would highly recommend for any card or board game lovers!
Fun place for the nerdy gamers. Holds tournaments, board games like DND, and has many other games there and collections
I was visiting Utah & stumbled upon this store while looking for things to do in SLC. Great location, store was nicely sized, clean, organized & more importantly didn't have that BO stench that is so commonly associated with most trading card/game stores. Pricing for some MTG sealed & single products was hit or miss thus why I couldn't give it 5 stars. Overall a great place to check out, if i'm ever back in SLC I will stop in again.
My only very minor, and slightly political complaint would be the continued mask policy, which feels very outdated at this point. However; that is a statement coming from a Wyomingite who has not had to deal with heavy mandates, and I will respect their policies! They also supply you with masks, so theres no excuse to be condescending about the mandate.
The store is very clean, and well laid out. They have a very large selection of various collectibles and games to choose from, and I was impressed with the pokemon selection! The staff was super helpful, and professional. Stores like this are a treat for out of towners like myself, and I'm glad I decided to stop in. I will most definitely go out of my way every time Im in the salt lake area!
We went for the first time and had the best experience! My son loves Pokémon, the workers had so much fun with him and helped him pick the best cards. When they saw him using his earned money, they gave him extra cards and told him great job. Awesome store, even better people. We will keep going and supporting them.
Easy to deal. Good communication. Called asked for a game they held the two used ones they had for me. Great deal on dark souls with and insert. Super easy and they let me open to to check it out.
Oasis games is amazing amazing gaming shop. The items I'm looking for are always better priced here than anywhere else and they have a sweet card database system that let's you see what they have in stock and buy them.
Overall fantastic store with lots of interesting products.
A very good game store. Offers lots of unique board games. The store has all your Magic the Gathering needs, such as dice, deck boxes, etc.
Everything else from Pokémon to Warhammer. Lots of tables to play at, so they host tournaments and events. Plenty of room to move around, the store is laid out perfectly.
We're locals and go to oasis games often. They are always helpful and friendly. The most recent time Josh gave us a great suggestion and game run down of one of his favorite 2 player games. We love this place!
Best card shop in Utah has everything great amount of singles customer service is friendly and very helpful
Very cool place to chill and play or just to go and buy or sell it's good environment and good people..
My son loves Pokémon, and this store has it all! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and so kind to answer all of his questions! Great gaming shop!
Really friendly place and very good for kids, me and my group runs dnd sessions there every week and they’re always super friendly towards us
Love this shop. Best place to get dice and MTG cards.
We decided to stop by as we were next door for dessert. Wasn't sure what it was, so glad we did. Picked up a popular used game in brand new condition for a great price. Love that there was tables set up to play. Clean, great atmosphere.
Best experience ever! Today was especially because I was able to meet the cast of Game Knights and Post Malone! Even had some cards signed by all 3!
My son pokemon card and other stuff there customer service was great 👍 …
We accidentally came across this game store stopping at the Seven Eleven on 7/11, and were thankful to see the sign. We loved the variety of new and used games plus many tables to play games. A worker introduced us to a new game and had a great experience visiting the store. Thank you.
Oasis Games is aptly named. When you see the store from 4th South, it looks abandoned. The front door is around back. They have a lighted sign that points it right out. When you enter, it opens into a wonderfully spacious shop. They have a large variety of games, both board games and RPG's, plus gaming supplies like dice, miniatures and paint. They have a great set up with tons of space and host different types of games, like Magic the Gathering. The staff were very knowledgeable and super friendly. The environment was inviting, inclusive and fun. I definitely recommend this store if you have gaming needs or if you're looking for some relaxed social interaction post COVID. OH, P.S. The bathroom was super clean! (Totally impressed with that!)☺😁
Excellent service and staff. They made a mistake on an order and without a second thought fixed it! The shop it’s self is massive and full of everything from MTG, Pokémon, D&D, also a great selection of board games! Shop here next time you need single for a deck or a new game for the family!!! 100% will be back with out a doubt!
P.S. this is not a paid advertisement! :p
Its nice to into a store and there are people who are willing to help you.
My boyfriend and I have been here a couple of times. The staff is super kind. They definitely have a lot to offer and I love the system they have when you’re looking to sell the cards! Super convenient and I can’t wait to come back
BEST GAMER HANGOUT
MTG, D&D, WARHAMMER BOARD Games GALORE, etc.
Love the new space! I used to go to Oasis a lot a few years ago for MTG. Glad to see not only is it still in business, but it looks like they're doing better than before. Very large selection of board games and well stocked on trading cards.
Hands down, best game store in Utah. This place has something for everyone. The employees are phenomenal and everyone there is super knowledgeable about everything they sell. Great prices and a really laid back friendly vibe makes this place my go to for D&D and MTG but they have so much more and Im always finding a new game to play when I go in. I highly recommend giving Oasis a try if you haven't already. You will not be disappointed!
I discovered this place about a few years ago and have been coming back consistently since. They have an excellent selection of Pokemon cards, and do well to keep limitations in place so more people have a chance to get them. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and one of the top reasons why I prefer to shop here for my cards compared to other places. The shop itself is clean and well-kept, with a chill, comfortable atmosphere that's perfect to relax and game in.
Although I don't purchase much here outside of the Pokemon cards, Perfect Fits, and Dragon Shields, they seem to have a great selection of MTG and board games as well. I have had orders messed up in the past where I've received a wrong card, or have been missing one, but the staff is always sincerely apologetic and quick to fix the mistake. I've never held these little mistakes against them because they're just that: mistakes. We're human, we all make them, and I know they're not intentional. It's easy to see that they care about their products and their customers, and I always appreciate that.
The only downside is that sometimes on busy nights, there's not enough parking, but it's not like I can't walk a short way to get there haha. It's definitely a short walk worth taking.
Best store for weekly magic events, however other stores may have significantly better release pricing.
Very friendly staff and quick service! Great game selection too!
*Note: Due to Covid 19, in-store play had been temporarily suspended, but everything else I wrote still applies.
One of my favorite have stores. You can find someone almost any night of the week to play Commander with (when they are open), and they have constructed events almost every night as well, ranging from Modern to Pioneer to even occasionally Pauper. They also regularly host fun and interesting events like their monthly Commander draft.
For those interested in tabletop gaming, they have a wide selection of games, extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff, most of whom are also patrons in their off-time, and invested in creating a welcoming environment. There is an incredible amount of space to play, whatever the size of your group is, and the prices on board games are very competitive.
The environment is good, and they even have a cafe if you just want a place to get away and do homework.
Best shop for MtG singles and events in the valley. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Weekly tournaments tend to be on the more competitive side compared to other shops.
Always here every other Thursday. Great place
The people here are SO friendly and knowledgeable. They're constantly offering to help too, but not in an overbearing way.
The game days there are also awesome! I haven't played in any of the events (yet) but I've been in while one was going on and it was such a good time even from a viewer standpoint.
You can also feel safe going in, because they're still requiring masks which I really appreciate given the rise in COVID variant cases.
Really cool store! I needed a particular game at the last second and couldn’t wait to order it online. I called their store, and they were kind enough to set aside the game I needed, since I was coming from Brigham City. Great customer service! Prices are very fair and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I will definitely be back!
A local game store without the smell or condescending staff.
I don’t like to visit game stores, they typically smell, are beyond over priced, cramped and cluttered, and customer service is on par with your jobs IT department.
Oasis is clean, smells good, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and makes an effort to create a welcoming environment. Products are well organized and it never feels overwhelming. Prices vary, somethings are cheaper online sometimes Oasis is cheaper... it depends on the product. The difference in price never feels like a bad deal.
I feel welcomed.
Parking leaves a lot to be desired but, when it comes to other businesses that sell board games... it’s not even worth mentioning it as a con. There isn’t a better store to go to in Utah.
Always a great place to hang out. Grab a few friends and head down with a game. If you're into Magic the Gathering there is normally judges there. And they are OK with you bringing in food or drink as long as you don't make a mess lol.
We traveled to Utah for work and we will always make a stop here to play some Magic of the Gathering! When we found out about Modern night on a Thursday we made plans to come play! I really enjoyed this cool looking store! Highly recommend parking in the back of the store and taking the back entrance if you want to avoid a gathering of stranger from the streets. Be safe & keep your head on a swivel!
A++ nice & clean store!
Great shop, fun, charismatic and helpful staff. Lively, lots of people coming through, and they still uphold mask usage. Absolutely one of my favorite spots in the city.
Quick, knowledgeable, and friendly staff and environment. Everything you need in one spot. If somehow they do not have what you are looking for they will usually be able to get it. Fun for all ages, it is never too early to start your young one(s) first card or gaming collection or experience.
Wide selection, very efficient system for buying singles.
Update: It is now 2022 I don't know how many years ago I posted this, but even post-Covid Oasis is still my go to and is reliable as ever!
I always have a good experience there whenever I attend, play, browse, and purchase anything. It is always a great pleasure to do business with Oasis.
Great staff and a super clean building. Great game selection with a large variety of games, family games, social games, and serious nerd games.
Awesome place to play mtg and other games. Comfty chairs and super knowledgeable staff with alot of room to play. Could use their coffee shop/snack bar to open up and it looks like they had comfty couches at one point that are gone now it seems 🤔 maybe due to covid who knows. They also require you to wear a mask regardless of vaccination the whole time. You also can't beat the selection of mtg booster packs and single cards. They also have 10 dollar dragon shield sleeves.
Good place to sell your MTG collection and Pokémon cards. Recently started selling my collection and went to Oasis. Good cash offers and quick turnaround.
Pretty good for tournaments but good lord their trade in value on cards is actually worse than gamestop, they take creative liberties of extenuating factors like their own card stock into account. If you have a card worth 60 dollars they'll offer you 15 on account of their own stock that you have no control over.
This place is awesome. Has everything thing a nerd like me would want and then some.
Great shop! Huge selection of many types of games. It's not just MTG or Warhammer like so many places. Has a coffee shop and is inviting to just go hang out, play games, and drink coffee. I would have rated 5 star except parking is hard given the location. But the shop is worth finding parking and they have the best prices for MTG packs in the city. So do yourself a favor and go there already!! 😂
They have a large selection of many types of games. So I would imagine most people could find some kind of role-playing game or board game or tabletop game that they like. Currently they don't have bathrooms accessible for public. They require masks still when you're in the store. The staff was friendly. I can't wait for covid-19 to reduce more so we can do in store gaming again
Excellent selection, and employees who are knowledgeable about their wares. And in less plague-ridden times, they offer tables for free play and special events, as well as a game library so you can take some games for a test drive before committing to the expenditure and shelf space. I highly recommend you check it out.
Every time I go to the shop everyone is friendly and helpful I spoke to the owner several time and Alex is one of the coolest guys there. He plays and participated in matches hovers and makes the place feel like a second home
Kind, helpful staff! No stupid questions or judgy looks while this inexperienced shopper browsed the store. HUGE game & accessories selection. Please ✔️ this place out!
Canceled my order and relisted the item for a higher price. I get it you guys are here to make money but if you offer an item for a price you should honor it. It's not like you posted it for less than you bought it for.
Update: Oasis did reach out to me and offered a solution fair to both parties. Top notch!
This is my fav store!! So fun to go and the employees are so nice. I take my 7 year old son and he has a blast. They are always really sweet to him. I am so impressed with their customer service. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Highly recommend!
Best places for MTG. The reward points is really cool! Staff is super friendly.
Coolest game store I've ever been too
Great people working there have everything I'm
Looking for always!
I enjoy coming to Oasis multiple times a week whether it be to play Boardgames, Dungeons & Dragons, or Magic The Gathering. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, providing a fun atmosphere for me and my friends.
Don't get me wrong if you need games or Magic cards this place is great! The only thing is that the customer service feels distant and not as friendly as other local game stores. The inventory for Magic cards is immense but you look them up on a computer and that's that. So if you looking for a quick buy and a place that almost certainly has your stuff then Oasis games is a paradise but if you're looking to have some conversation about the cards you're buying and kickback with people who also love Magic you may want to find a smaller store
Great the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a large number of games to play and lots of tables to play them on. The selection of games to purchase is not the largest I have seen, but covered quite a few types of games. Should be a good place for anyone to stop in and grab a game. The prices are just a little more than online but every shop is like that these days, and I don't fault them for it at all. in fact I was able to walk out with everything I came to get and a little extra that I had not planned on, and still felt that I was paying less than I was willing to spend.
This place is crazy cool! If you have have not seen the power 9 before this is the place. Tons of board games, Magic the gathering/pokemon cards and plenty of space to try out the new cards you just added to your deck. Surrounded by dope artwork mainly from MTG and a calendar full of tournaments and events. I brought my 12 year old and his friend in and the staff was very friendly and made them feel like they wanted to come back. great work and hats off to an excellent staff and management for creating and atmosphere, were you can tell people enjoy being in their work environment and it translates into how they treat us as customers. I look forward to getting my nerd on my next visit and many more to come!
Always have all the cards I’m looking for and are fast at getting them pulled! Customer service is always great and the building is so nice and big! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a card shop! I go out of my way 30 minutes to shop here.
It's a nice board game store. It's really great if your looking for MTG or DND or WARHAMMER stuff. But they do have a modest selection of more casual game for people like me. (I'm casual and I'm proud!)
Wonderful service and friendly support. Prices were all comparable to Amazon, but the service and knowledge was well beyond what an online retailer can provide.
I played a few games with friends and really enjoyed them. The help I got starting to build my game collection was awesome. Lots of knowledge on whatto choose based on what i enjoy. There is also a choice to buy certified used!
The service here is amazing! I have one big problem though, and that's with getting singles. There has been many a time when I ordered singles, went up to buy them, and was told that they actually didn't have those singles in stock. Why have those singles listed for sale in the database then!? This has outright ruined some of the events I was going to which required me to get these cards at a last second notice. Another problem I have are the prices of singles; there are cards I have wanted that are worth 5 or 7 cents that they make cost 25 cents. I know that that's very minimal, but in this hobby that builds up really, really fast. I did a few calculations a couple weeks back and figured that I could've saved around $30 in money if those singles were sold at their worth. Keep in mind I started playing magic only a year ago. Other than those two minor things the store itself is pretty good overall.
I've always felt welcome walking into the store, as the staff is very helpful and friendly.
The selection of games/game accessories is fantastic, and there's something for every age group (Pokemon-related items for younger kids, in-depth tabletop games for those not as young, etc).
Personally, I reccomend the store to fans of Dungeons & Dragons, or any similar games.
The in-store cafe has a wide variety of tasty snacks, beverages, and lunch items.
New to playing magic, super friendly and informative people working here :)
I’m not a huge fan of board games and the huge selection of games they have, but I go with my friend and he loves it. Their selection of used games is really nice and always discounted to a great price. They have a variety of games for many different interest levels. If you’re looking to find a new game to try, definitely go here.
Had the selection that I was looking for. The employee that asked me if I needed help wasn't annoying or pushy or "funny". Cashier was pleasant and efficient. All in all a great experience . Update, today I asked why their board game prices went up and the employee basically told me that they didn't. What??? Rating adjusted.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff with great selection and fair prices. Highly recommend checking them out. Josh is awesome! Thanks for letting stock up on pokemon trainer cards!!
Just a great store to go to. The staff is all knowledgeable is what they sell and will give you suggestions on games or product if you aren't sure what you want. Their prices are great and they started selling ysed product as well. So if you are looking for a better deal you can go for those instead. Overall I love this location and they have everything right going for them. From game nights to tournaments it's always a good choice.
Amazing customer service. I’ve been going here for years and they really care about the individual, feels great to go in and just talk to real people. Josh the store manager is an incredible human being. Rewards program is great and they really know what they are about. Cannot recommend them highly enough!
As usual great service and the cards I needed! Every time I have been in the store the staff has been fantastic and eager to assist! Any time there has been any issues (wrong card, etc) they make it right! I can’t ask for more and the staff is very enjoyable!
Oasis is a great gaming store. I don't make it here very often on game nights, but I order a ton of single Magic: The Gathering cards from them. The staff is really cool, they have a ton of product, the coffee shop is solid, and the environment is clean and well-lit. Can't ask much more from a hobby shop!
Fun atmosphere and great selection of games! Best place to buy and sell MTG cards. The only cons are VERY LIMITED parking and long wait times for the cafe if there's only one person working at the time. Will definitely be returning to sell cards or just chill out and play games.
This place has that classic games store feel to it; that friendliness and personality is almost universally present inside those doors. The employees are all friendly, knowledgeable, and above all genuinely seem to care about these games, from D&D to Catan. When I walked in in search of a battle mat, everyone I talked to was super helpful and I walked away satisfied even though they had no more left in stock. I'll definitely be coming back again, maybe even for one of the D&D campaigns they have running.
Good spot to buy card and board games as well as D&D and MTG stuff. They have a lot of games that I haven't found at other shops!
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff!! Wide selection of cards and boardgames!
It feels grear going to Oasis, everyone is both friendly and chill. Its overall a very relaxed environment, which is great when all you want to do is have some fun
I was in SLC for a working vacation and wanted to play in the prelease for the newest MtG set. The crew at Oasis and the patrons there set a very accommodating vibe and I was able to enjoy the limited time I had to sit and play (despite losing pretty hard in my first round!). As an extra bonus: it's near the Library Station on the UTA Red Line so it's easy to walk here without needing to drive!
My favorite game store/card shop. Very friendly and knowledgeable employees, great selection of MTG cards and board games. Interior design could be improved and café drinks. However, it understandable that the baristas are still new at it. I also love that they allow you to bring food into the shop. Overall, great place to hang out and spend time at.
The best game store in Utah, hands down. Their Magic the Gathering organization method is second to none. So easy to get the cards you want and such nice service and events are always lovely. Never had a bad experience and will go no where else.
This place is amazing! They have a ton of neat D&D stuff, as well as Magic and Warhammer!
One of the best game stores in the valley. The best magic the gathering singles in Utah, and maybe the west, minus California. The staff are friendly, and there is both a children's atmosphere, EDH casual, and spike level play. Plenty of tournaments and a very safe environment. I think it's the friendliest LGBTQ+ game space in Utah as well. Great store, fantastic management, and the cafe is excellent. The bottomless tea is my favorite!!
Very nice store with incredibly friendly humans running it. I am a regular and have no complaints. The food at their cafe is delicious as well. There are also always cool people who are willing to introduce themselves and play a game with you. Best game store around
Nice selection and the employees were very nice. They were happy to answer any questions and let you browse. So glad we went and checked this place out. Really appreciated everyone, customers and employees, wearing masks.
I have been buying from them for a few years and they have the best selection in the state. They try to have copies of every card in magic.
I have bought common cards from them and they knew right where to find them, not the "oh here you can look through this unorganized box if you like" that you see at other stores. They have their own pricing system and have fair priced cards along with a good grading system.
They have a lot tables there and there is almost always players there if you are looking for a pickup game
Out of the many times I have gone there I have had one bad experience and when the owner found out they contacted me and made it right with me.
Being in downtown Salt Lake parking can be an issue but if you are just picking up some cards there is a yellow loading zone directly out front.
I have been going to Oasis since I started playing MtG, the staff is always nice and friendly. They know the game very well, have fair prices, and a large stock of cards. I've only ever been once where they didn't have the card I was looking for. This is the best place to shop for Magic cards in the valley.
Nice clean store with staff that are more than willing to help out. I have also ordered from oasis online and they have been great to work with. Fast shipping and good customer service.
New location is spacious and beautiful. Staff is awesome as ever, items amazing. I love the new product that I'm finding on shelves, merch and games alike. It's also much easier to find what you want with everything in the open. Cafe is awesome, right off the train, right next to the library... Perfection.
Very relaxing environment and a wide selection of MTG cards.
This store is run very well! Alex is fantastic and this trickles down to his employees, all very knowledgeable. They have any magic card you could need and a surprisingly great used board game collection.
Oasis games has an easy to navigate website, a great selection, and great prices. Easily the best online card market.
Great prices, below MSRP, even though it's a local game store. There's also a significant used game section. The staff are friendly and helpful, as they can provide recommendations. They make it easy to save money and support a local business.
Wide selection of cards, games, and minis. Staff is helpful and friendly without being overbearing. Great game store
They Always have the cards I need!
I bought 10 packs of vivid voltage but when I got home I noticed there was only 9 I called and they were kind enough to put one aside for me to grab the next day. They’ve always been chill and decent prices.
Good prices on some games, okay on other expensive on some. Great selection of games to play test before buy and plenty of room to do so. Personnel is a bit special... gamers that are paid to be there, but don't really understand customer service (altough nice people). Food smells are intense...
Fantastic selection of awesome strategy board and card games. Friendly, helpful, informed staff. Strict Covid rules. I had a very positive experience!
While this is not my game store I will stop by on occasion and every time I do they are super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have a great selection and good prices. If their coffee shop is open it's pretty good.
Great place for table top and card games, with a huge selection of titles, cards, and dice. There's areas for D&D and Warhammer 40k. Magic: the Gathering players frequent here, so if you're looking for somewhere to meet some like minded people or play a game, this is the place. Also has a cafe that serves coffee and sandwich type fare.
Super helpful and friendly staff. The store is very clean and a great environment for family game night!
Favorite game store that I have ever been to, and I have been to many since I was a kid. The staff is super nice, helpful, quirky and informative. The people who come in here are awesome as well, many different kinds of people to play with, whatever kind of games you are into.
This is a great place for magic the gathering players! They pride themselves on having every card in stock, and they normally do. They have a decent selection of German-style board games, but I found that several games I was looking for were not available. Collectable card games other than magic are not very available here, though I certainly didn't take off a star for that.
The selection on Magic the Gathering and other products can't be beat, and the prices are decent. Staff is always ready to help.
The staff at Oasis were so eager to help outfit my Pokémon club with cards and prizes. They were so friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and do their best to resolve my purchases quickly!!!
Wonderful place as always. Been here for years and the staff are always nice and knowledgeable about the items they sell. Great place for those who like Pokémon and Magic the Gathering cards!
Board/card shop with lots of choices. They also have small booths which are nice if you are just hanging out with a friend. Game selection is good, the staff is helpful, good place to play magic though the environment can be intimatin everyone I've met there has been nice and welcoming :).
Decent game shop. Probably the best you'll find in Salt Lake. They are heavily focused on Magic the Gathering and have a great selection of cards to buy. If I had to compare between Oasis and Game Grid (specifically in Lehi) I'd choose Game Grid, but this is my second pick for sure.
Great people. I came to SLC for a while from Spain and they were trying to help me since the begining. Also they have very good prices, a lot of stuff and there is always people to play magic with.
PS: Sorry for my English grammar :D
Honestly the destination to go for Magic cards in the State of Utah. I buy all my singles from here and always get them fast and as ordered. They run great tournaments and are friendly and approachable. This place is the best.
The new store is a testament to what a nerd store/card shop can be when taken to the level of enthusiasm that only the crew behind Oasis can. Sprawling tables and booths to play a variety of games. A massive selection of board games and magic singles. The employees are also quiet passionate about Magic, and will help you assemble a deck if asked. The new drink/snack bar ensures you don't ever have to leave, if you don't want to. You owe it to yourself to check out Oasis Games.
I love this place. I have been twice since finding out about this place yesterday. It has a very comfortable/relaxing atmosphere. The staff is great and has made me feel welcomed. They have great games that you can play or buy. They also have game night. Everyone should check this place out!
Wow! I was visiting from out of state, and walked to Oasis Games just to check it out. Salt Lake City is very lucky to have such an amazing shop! Friendly inviting atmosphere. Great stock of MtG. I was greeted by an employee who was super friendly, as was another employee behind the counter. My visit was so positive, I bought something I didn't really need, just to support this fantastic LGS. This place is definitely on my radar for future online orders.
Always had great experience when living in Utah! Miss my oasis folks! Still try to support them from a far!
Always willing to work with you on more expensive cards.
Great game store with frequent events for all kinds of games. Expansive selection of games and cards at highly competitive prices. Clean store with games to try and a nice cafe. Attentive, kind, and helpful staff. Would recommend!
Editing my original post.
I frequent this place quite often. They have great employees that really know their stuff! They're always happy to talk about any games in their store and are very welcoming and passionate to newcomers! If you need something, call them they'll probably have it or can help find it.
Best place in town to get MTG cards and accessories. Great store to visit (their online store is awesome as well) with 20 cent rares cycling through the cashier area. The employees are very knowledgeable and always willing to chat or offer advice.
Awsome store with great staff who know their cards
So the first time I ever walked into Oasis Games I felt a huge weight lifted from my Being. The worldly pressures that come attached to the "nerd" stigma had been washed away by the waters of this newfound Oasis. Cleansed and free was I, Home I have found -- as Master Yoda would put it.
The staff are inspiring to say the least. They are like the wise men in the bible, only these guys are real. And really helpful too! Any question or comment is welcomed with clarity and authority. And not like the authoritative attitude which belittles and humiliates, as most law enforcement adopt, naturally. It is a supportive and nonthreatening attitude, which pours into every nook and cranny of doubt and intimidation. You are not laughed at for not knowing the mana curve of your newly built, and rough, deck. Instead, you are offered tips and resources, aiding you on any endeavor you may take as a planeswalker, Pokémon trainer, or adventurer.
Oasis Games is truly a safe haven for all who journey. And for those thirsty for adventure, I will guide them to the life bringing waters of Oasis Games.
Thank you.
Ambitious space for everything board, and card game. The most extensive collection of Magic the Gathering with ample opportunity to play multiple formats in a competitive environment. Recommend for purchasing of advanced materials, but not for introductions to new games and events.
Great places for board and card games. Tournaments and other events are held here and very fun and organized, very helpful employees and the owner really cares. Rather terrible cafe for coffee but good cakes and pies, just don't expect the baristas to know what a "latte" or "chai" is.
I’ve been going to this store for a little over a year now. I’ve been happy with all of my experiences there. The employees are attentive and knowledgeable, prices are fair, and their events are fun, I will continue to come here for as long as possible
This is the best place to really get your geek on. You can buy CCG and role playing games here as well as tons of other games. They also have a gaming section but I have never hung out there. Great prices and staff that knows what they are talking about.
Stopped through SLC for work and made a stop here. Good selection of sealed boosters back to Revised ($75/pk) some decent vintage sleeved in display (a couple beta underground seas $5000). Guy at the front was helpful and the store had several people playing pick up games.
This is the best place to buy or sell your Magic cards in Utah hands down.
However you want to avoid the employees David and Jake for the most part. They don't seem to enjoy their jobs and are quite rude to customers. For the most part when you are there you are treated like a problem by those two rather than a customer.
The owner seems like he knows what he is talking about and is willing to give advice much like the other employees at the shop.
Overall when you avoid those two it is a great experience.
It was a very smooth process trading my bulk pokemon for store credit. And Oasis had a great selection of singles and new products to choose from.
There was such a variety of games, cards and sleeves. There was even a little food place inside. It was amazing! Although it is a little pricey, but other than that, it was a great place for games. You can also play games with friends there, too. I highly recommend this place. :D
Took my son to a weekly Pokémon event on Sunday. This was our first time going but it won’t be our last. We plan to make it Wednesday and Sunday weekly. The staff was awesome, very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The Pokémon group is small right now but I believe it will grow quickly. It’s a great place to learn, trade, battle, build and grow. I appreciate the help that the staff and other Pokémon enthusiasts gave my son especially considering he was the youngest by far. The experience is exactly what I expect and then some when it comes to customer service. I highly recommend oasis games. Aside from Pokémon they do plenty of other tcg events and have plenty of products to help anyone from noob to the most experienced of players.
This is the perfect place to have fun with friends and play games like magic of the gathering. The cafe is a huge plus. Their pennines are very good and they have a variety of snacks and drinks. Definitely go check this place out.
Has an impressive selection of games, figures, and cards. Also always has games being played. Always a good night to plan for.
In Utah, you can't get a better LGS. They have, or try to keep, virtually every Magic card in stock. Instead of directing you to endless boxes of disorganized cards or half empty binders when you ask for something, they check their exact inventory and pull your order in minutes. I regularly shop online and use their "pick up in store option." They also accept Square, which makes checkout very simple.
The owner is intelligent and personable. The other employees are usually quite helpful and know their products well.
I have been waiting for a shop like this to open in Utah for quite some time. To get this kind of experience outside of Oasis, you'll need to travel to Seattle.
5 out of 5 stars - will shop again!
Great selection of games, also this shop has one of the biggest single-card selections I’ve seen in the valley. The computer in the back makes it super easy to order cards, and the workers are always fast with putting your order together.
I played here at a PTQ last year and it was an incredible experience. They were well organized and the staff was knowledgable about their products.
I was very impressed with buying singles from them. They had prices that were competitive with the lowest TCG Player prices and had almost every card in stock. They have an awesome filing system to look for cards. It's computer based searching and allows you to search for cards based on their stock. You plug in what you want and staff grabbed the cards.
They also have almost daily tournaments and great turn outs as far as I can tell. Best place I've seen in Utah for Magic the Gathering so far.
Awesome place to get board games and start a new hobby. The employees are amazing.
Cool place with lots of cool stuff, lots of play tables. But cafe is closed so bring your own snacks.
Huge selection, the staff is usually great and the prices are fair. Their online portal is excellent and very few other stores carry singles in the quantities Oasis does. Im here regularly!
The atmosphere is spot on for anyone wanting to play a card/board game (great music, good lighting, clean, etc.)!!!
They have a cafe inside with quality food that also sells a “tea of the day” that comes bottomless (although I wish they actually changed the “tea of the day“ daily instead of changing the options weekly or according to whatever they have in stock).
There are several different board games laying around the store set up and ready for you to try out or play a few rounds with someone if you want to open up your gaming repertoire.
If you want to purchase a board/card game here, they have access to very new games and their prices are amazingly competitive!! They also have a section where you can buy used games for an even significantly bigger discount (each used game comes with a note stating the condition of the game as well as the environment it was coming from).
They have several tables and restaurant-style booths for you to play games on and it’s never hard to find a pickup game of “magic the gathering” with the crowds they attract.
There is a big calendar on the north east corner of the room where you can see the types of events they host (although it seems like they host the same types of events according to the weekday, it’s August 5th and the calendar was still set up for July when we went to check it out). If you “like” their page on FaceBook then you will have access to a much more update version of their calendar.
Next to the calendar (on the north wall), you can find a board of people who post their names, numbers, and type of game they are looking for players to join in on. From the looks of it, anyone can add their information to the board if you find yourself wanting to advertise a specific game you like playing.
They host tournaments regularly and have separated off an entire section for them to be hosted.
Bathrooms are clean, and next to them they have two private rooms that seems to be used for groups of people playing D&D.
They have a reward system where you can earn points with your purchases that doesn’t always keep accurate track of your points, but the staff has always been willing to add any missing points into the account if you let them know they’re missing.
The staff is mostly people who have lots and lots of experience playing any of the games they sell (which means they are great for answering your questions, but may also come across socially awkward if you’re trying to have a more-than-one-question conversation with them). They are good about letting you know when they are closing (1 hr, 30 mins, 15 mins, etc.) prior to it actually happening so you don’t get shut down in the middle of a game.
There is an entry into the cafe on 400 south, but be ready to brave the homeless sleeping/begging for money/hassling on the street if you choose to enter this way. Otherwise, there is free parking on the north end of the build, as well as another entry way into the cafe on the ground floor.
Overall, I think this place has lots of potential and I hope they consider opening up a 21+ section and/or a place for people to play console games in the future.
If they have a comment board for requesting tournaments of a certain game, I didn’t see it and think that would also be beneficial (especially when it comes to looking for opportunities to play the newer-type games like FFTCG).
Best gaming store for Magic the Gathering! (Aside from midnight pre-releases that go until 7 AM, lol). I especially love the new venue, aside from the parking which can be a tad annoying. Regardless, no other store in Salt Lake has the singles or events that compete with Oasis!
Huge selection of everything from dnd to the biggest collection of board games I've ever seen in one place!
Decent game selection. Not super friendly. Used game section was a nice touch.
Oasis games is a great place! It was my first time there and the staff were awesome. They are very helpful and informative about the games I had questions about. CJ, one of the staff. He was very welcoming and friendly.
Clean, open space. Friendly staff. They had the board game I was looking for. A step above many gaming stores because it was clean, well-organized and friendly. Don't hesitate to check them out of you haven't already.
People that work there and the actual costumers that come in are great. However i have been harassed as a customer because every now and then a bum manages to sneak into the store. This last weekend i came to play magic and a stranger approached me stating he came to learn how to play magic. After playing a match with him and teaching him how to play he proceeded to unveil his real intention to me... Which was to guilt trip me into giving him 10 dollars. The store should require its customer sign in upon arrival... That might detour bums from entering.
Always a great selection and friendly staff!
The staff is very knowledgeable and passionate about gaming. One of the things I love about the store is the sense of acceptance and community they have created.
I love visting Oasis. Mainly for MTG cards of which they have a vast selection and great prices. It is always a pleasure to visit their store.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful to what I was looking for. Their products are very fairly priced compared to other stores, and I'd definitely consider coming back in the future.
I always felt bad ordering cards online because of the incessant call to spend money at local stores, but the prices in store were always way too much. Oasis Games was the best solution I've found, with very competitive prices, a clean store, friendly staff, and a ton of fun organized events.
Awesome game store. Huge game selection. Super nice staff. A lot of gaming space.
Every time we come here it’s always a fantastic time. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they have a huge selection. They also always have a ton Of events going on as well
Very cool gaming store. Great place to sit and play. They even serve food here so you can eat and game. Large selection of games and super helpful staff. Great experience.
A great place to play Friday Night Magic and get all your supplies. Single cards, sealed product, sleeves and such. They will also buy your singles from you for cash, or store credit which is rare in local stores.
Great collection of MTG cards, and you can shop online and pickup in store. The staff is really friendly as well!
Hands down, one of the best game stores in the country. Wanna play board games? Go to Oasis. Wanna buy paint for miniatures? Go to Oasis. Want a reasonable cappuccino? You can go to Oasis. With big comfy coaches, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a diverse and friendly clientele, Oasis games is the paragon of what a game shop can be.
After having a negative experience there I was unsure if I would ever go there again, but today after like 2 months i decided to show up for the Sunday DBSCG tournament. The manager saw me and recognized me (maybe from my picture next to the very angry FB and Google reviews I wrote, idk) almost as soon as I walked in, and he very politely apologized to me and thanked me for giving them another chance and coming back in. It made me feel much more relaxed and happy to play there. Once the games began I got to meet all the players, and even play a practice round with one of the judges. All the players were friendly and welcomed me into the group, they told me about the Facebook DBSCG group which I joined, and the judge guy(i believe his name was Sal) gave me a nice little stack of some common promo card, just to be cool. I had a great time and got alot of experience playing the game that I never would've got playing against myself lol. I plan on going back every Sunday and hope others do the same! Thanks for making today a great day for me.
Packs aren't msrp big box stores but they are market price. Reward system is baller and the staff is so friendly.
An amazing venue for face-to-face game play, tournaments, shopping, and a quick bite to eat.
With the addition of new areas at the new location (the separate tournament area that can hold upwards of 120 players for Magic or Pokemon tournaments, the cafe area with booths and tables, 2 private game rooms), there is more than enough room for the plethora of gaming groups to play comfortably next to or apart from each other
Several roleplaying groups utilize the space for campaigns. Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and Shadowrun are a few of the popular groups I've seen and participated in.
There are mini painting workshops that are super fun, and a huge selection of mini figures to choose from.
As always, Oasis games has always had a seamless card buying experience. Now easier than ever, a PA system has been put in place since the space is s huge, and there is a pick up window! So Cool!
The cafe is amazing. I was pleased to find that the baristas could make up a REALLY decent latte and could actually froth coconut milk! (not the easiest). They bring in cookies and sandwiches from Broadway Deli which are so yummy, and other pastries to accompany the espresso and coffee.
I'm just so pleased with this establishment, I frequent it every day for its amazing versatile atmosphere.
The atmosphere is really chill and fun if you're into geek culture. The food was amazing, had one of the best lattes and paninis I've had in a while. 5/5 :D
If you like Magic the Gathering this is the place to buy and trade cards. They'll even teach novice players the game with easy to use starter decks. Oh and they are expanding into board games as well.
This place is AMAZING! The staff is so knowledgable and willing to offer similar games to the ones you love! They also have a demo library that you can rent a game from and try in one of their gaming booths. I will be back for all my gaming needs!!
Good place to buy and sell cards. They also have a big tournament floor with lots of tables and chairs, and hold tournaments regularly.
Love Oasis games, definitely my favorite spot. Wide variety of fun things to collect and play. 💯 …
Good selection for MtG, boardgames and now their minis and wargaming stuff is growing too. The staff is knowledgeable and inclusive which is extremely important.
A clean gaming store with helpful staff. Lots of useful table top gaming gear and not cramped. Plus having the cafe is a nice bonus.
Nothing like it in Utah. All kinds of board and card games, sweet coffee shop, comfortable seating, wifi, private study/game rooms, tournaments. Just a generally great place to hang out or do homework. Lotta friends there whenever I stop by.
These are great. The staff is cool and they have basically anything mtg related you could hope to find!
Always have a great selection. Courteous and helpful staff. The store is always clean and well maintained. It is a pleasure every time I go in there
Only card shop I've seen that has such a fantastic selection and keeps such great tabs on what they have/don't have in stock! Other than that, prices are reasonable and employees and always willing to answer any questions! This store is great!
Oasis is just the best place. Everyone is super great to my kids. They treat them with respect. They have great events and just where I love to spend my Friday nights with my kids.
I love my local game store! Oasis prides itself on community and inclusion, and never shies away from helping or teaching. Check them out, and tell your friends!
Always a super solid place to be really friendly staff good prices on singles and boxes and the structured modern events are the best thing I look forward to every week
The employees are always helping you out and actually give you good advice, the place is very welcoming, all in all a nice spot to hangout with friends and get your nerd on.
Good selection of games. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are what you would find on Amazon so why would you shop online when you can see it in store. Highly recommended.
Oasis is always great. This is a safe place for all orientations and races of people. Great cafe, great games, there's always some sort of tournament going on or game demo. This is the place to be!
This is basically *the* place for CCGs in SLC! You can get new & used MtG cards here, and they may your cards off you, too. Come for all sorts of tournaments and both casual and organized play. It's a bit of a cramped space for play, but you won't beat the selection and the number of events anywhere else in the valley.
Competent staff, excellent selection. However they do not have Throw Throw Burrito (yet), and the carpet looks like WWII surplus.
I come here for mtg singles pretty often, and even when they're busy I usually get my cards pretty quickly.
Best place for beginners and advance players! They have a small cafe, couches, tables and all sorts of board games! Great place to go and play some MTG
Love the art work outside and inside, really friendly staff and others that come here. Good selection
This game store is amazing. My favorite part is the private rooms with white boards and tables for gaming. They also have a little cafe if you get hungry and free WiFi
A fun hangout area to play tabletop games
Great selection to buy though I do wish prices were a bit cheaper. Café inside has pretty decent panini and a Welcoming space, I would go every week if i had the chance
Fun good environment for the family. Enjoy the people who work to make this place fill great to be at.
Thanks to you all.
The best gaming in magic store in the salt lake county for sure. Been going there for 6 years, and I'm really sad that I had to move away from salt lake because my new area just doesn't have nearly as good of a game store.
Definitely the best place for gamers, new and old alike! The staff are always friendly and helpful. Not to mention their great prices and unbelievable selection!
Always super great customer service. Friendly and definitely very helpful to anyone new getting into any of their products.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. Amazing atmosphere. If you play any tabletop or TCG games, or want to get into them, check out Oasis!
Totally new to Magic, been playing MTGA and the staff was super helpful with getting me the proper stuff to play with some friends once group games start again. Will be back here again for sure!
to be honest, i really enjoyed this place. had a very good vibe as soon as i walked in the door. the staff was very helpful and friendly. they really came through clutch on a last minute birthday gift for my grandson...
Great store with friendly workers. Had some awesome prices on Metazoo!
These guys run a great operation! I came to unload a MTG collection, begrudgingly, via financial desperation. They were extremely busy, though went through my 3,000 cards without complaint. Casey was awesome!
Came in to buy some products, but nobody was at the front desk. Two people were de-sleeving cards in the back, noticed me, but didn't come to help me until I asked them a few minutes later. Oasis has great deals and great trade-in value (I'm certain it's the best in the state), but the poor customer service was a major disappointment for me.
First class game store. Oasis has the best stock of MTG singles, they are rarely out of stock on singles. Great environment and place to play games.
I absolutely love the customer service here! Always friendly and willing to help! Could not find another place as good as these guys anywhere else!
Love this place. Great prices on drafts. Everyone is incredibly kind and friendly. I've sold cards here before and they are very fair on prices.
I love their wide selection of games and they've often had hard to find cards. the workers are really friendly and knowledgeable
I'm a painter so I'm a semi-regular here. The employees are always nice and willing to help when I have questions or want to pre-order something.
I called every store from draper to salt lake and they were the only one that had what i wanted. Its a big store with lots of stock. If you love Warmachine or Hordes specifically it's number one.
It has a lot of open space, tables for probably more than 20 groups of people to play table top board and RPG games. They also have a store section where you can purchase figures and some game sets and books.
Oasis games is a staple of the magic community in Utah, exceptional service, fair tournament prizes and cost. To top it off it seems like they will buy any mtg card off you to ensure they have everything their players want.
Good place with a tone of selection of mtg cards I will return more.
It's super fun! Has a huge variety of all types of games. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Everytime I go, I'm amazed at how nice it is.
An excellent game store. Large selectionnof games, ranging from board to card to tabletop miniatures.
There is plenty of space for playing games and food onsite.
Oasis is surprisingly clean and well kept conpared to other game stores I have seen. Good lighting, extremely well organized inventory, knowledgable and friendly staff.
They always have everything that I’m looking for!
Love this local game shop they always have plenty in stock of what I'm looking for. Plus the staff is very helpful and friendly
Great selection. They have 90% of all magic singles which is a huge rarity. They charge more for singles but they also pay more for them. (Up to 63% of the card value)
Fantastic staff, friendly and fun to talk with, in case they don't have somebody your order in stock they take care of you right unlike some shops. Overall my favorite shop I've been to.
Always try to stop in and see what's new when passing through Salt Lake. Love the in house coffee shop and eatery. Together with the in store inventory search computers? Simply awesome.
Great place to go for Pokémon or MTG downtown.
Large Order was ready quickly before I got there and there were no errors. Great customer service :D
Great place to buy card games and play!!! We also play D&D there.
And don't worry of its a long section = you can buy snacks and drinks really cheap there. 😊 …
Gotta be careful here, I tend to spend my whole paycheck here. The staff really get to know their customers too.
Great staff, clean store. Been going here for years!
I go here all the time. Its perfect for Magic the Gathering and DnD players. The employees here are very friendly and always willing to help out.
First time and definitely not my last. Saw this store driving by on the street. CJ IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. He is a great employee. Well see yall soon!
Great selection reasonably priced
My son is way into magic was so excited when the new store opened we were there 3 hrs for him to play the other night with 2 toddlers and a older kid and the staff was just nice offered me water or something to drink treated my older kids great like real players love this store
