Great stop for the comic fans of course, with lots of modern era comics and new releases available. I didn’t see much “old” stuff, but still a huge selection with sections for DC and Marvel, but also indies and Darkhorse too, so not just the major releases. There’s also a huge selection of backpacks, lanyards, pins, figures and even a wall of Lego mini figs. Pokémon cards as well. The shop is kid friendly and well organized.

What a nice shop!!! Such a great variety of titles and relevant toys, clothes and other things. They have a great case for high value issues and an amazing wall of collected volumes and graphic novels. What a gem! Great place. The opposite of the roach motel comic shops we are used to. I'm sure these guys can help you with what you need.

This place was great! Wide selection of comics and variant covers, fun assortment of stickers, collectibles and Lego minifigs, and friendly service to top it off. They also have a section of shop-exclusive art and variant covers.

Just moved into the area and found this shop down the road. They have everything from Funko, Lego mini figs, Pokemon cards, stickers, keychains, bags/backpacks and of course comics. As for their comics, they have all the new releases as well as plenty of back issues that are well organized. They're also bagged with boards which is a huge plus as it avoids them being damaged from so many people flipping through them. Definitely making this a regular place to go.

Love this comic store. Very friendly and selection is endless. The owners know what they’re taking about and don’t get mad when you ask questions, unlike other comic stores I have been to. Meet with the owner today, I’m sorry she gave me here name. But I’m bad with remembering. Really friendly definitely knows how to cater to the clientele. Always go out of the way just to come here. Even thought I don’t live close by.

I really like this place! They have comics, gifts, etc. They have some used comics that look like new. And if there is something you want that is not in stock they will order it for you.

Originally drove to another shop near by but after weeks of supposedly ordering comics and every week going in to check I gave up on them… then I went to surprise comics and not only did they have issues I was missing they had even more selection than the one I was going to AND they bag and board every issue and don’t charge extra for it. I immediately opened a box with them and will remain loyal to them living in the west valley.

This place is family owned and I had the pleasure of speaking with said owner on my visit. They have a great selection of Lego mini-figures, video game merch, anime/manga, comics, and pretty much anything geeky you could want. It's clean, inviting and I will be returning in the future. I recommend this place over a big-box store any day!

Just went in for the first time today with my 3 kids. Awesome experience. The owner Matt is a good dude, he was friendly and kind and showed us around the shop. My kids had a blast looking at all the cool stuff they have in stock. All kinds of comic books and graphic novels. Cool little mini figures, Funko Pop figures, keychains, posters, stickers and basically everything you would expect to find in a comic book store. The shop also brought back some great memories for me as I have not been to a comic book store in about 25 years. I highly recommend this store and would suggest you check it out. Great place and a great opportunity to support a local business.

Only went once but enjoyed it. The employee working was very friendly and eager to help. As a business owner I had a question about the card processing equipment they used and the company and he took the time.to talk to me about it in detail. I will definitely be visiting again. I stopped going to comic shops when I moved to Surprise in 2009. Now I will start again.

I took my son to their Annual Free Comics Day, the owner brought in Artists (bought some of their artwork, with a personalized signature - he's on Cloud 9!!). The owner was talking to everyone - seems like a genuinely good dude. I highly recommend this place!!

Great selection of variants, 1st issues, and many keys. Lots of hard to find stuff also features a good selection of new books. The staff was also helpful and friendly! And its nice it's a comic book store not a toy store, and when I say that they are more into books than toys. Which I prefer! Good job guys and I will be back!

Great place. Great atmosphere. Not boxes and piles of stuff to overwhelm you when you go in. The comics are displayed on the wall and easy to see. They know their stuff, from the artist and writers to how the comics have been printed and stored. I found more than what I was looking for, stuff that I thought I was too late to find. They even have some original artwork for sale. Cool place. Nice people.

So glad to have such a great new comic shop in surprise. The owner/operators Matt and Melissa are the best. Always helpful, and so very nice. Great selection and all. .... I mean ALL their comics come bagged and boarded. They have a crazy selection of mini-figs you must see. And if you like POP figures, their selection is second to none. Stop by. ... you won't be sorry.

I will consistently come to this shop because of the kind and personable owners. After a few regular visits they know me by name, know my interests, make reasonable recommendations, and overall just make me feel welcome. It is not the biggest shop in the west valley and it has no ambitions to be; however, they consistently make decisions to maintain a loyal customer base. That is why I keep going back. Surprise, Goodyear, and Litchfield Park people, take note...this is where you should buy your comics.

These folks go out of their way to find what you want. From current comics to obscure and or signed items they will try and find it. Good deals and selection on Funko's as well. They will even have famous local talent in for autographs and a chat.
