First time shopping at dreadnought comics while I was on vacation. What a fantastic comic book shop. It has everything a man-child like me could ever ask for. Amazingly organized comic book selections, busts, vintage collectables, and so much more. I Highly recommend this place

A lot of content to sift through, some great comics at pretty good prices. There are some fancy collectors items in displays and a ton of comics and action figures. There are even posters, trading cards,and pins. There's something for everyone here. My advice is take your time walking around or you might miss something pretty cool!

I’ve been coming here on a weekly basis now, for about 2 months, it’s a bit of a drive for me, but always worth it. I’ve checked out about every comic shop now within a hours jurisdiction from where I live and find this one has consistently the best selection for what I’m looking for. I’ve had many conversations with the employees/ owner, their interest in comics is genuine, also the biggest $1 bin selection around. Their swinging panels with displayed comics are awesome for just viewing and/ or purchasing. What I appreciate most from comic shops is a good selection of back issues, a shop with a little character where they don’t just have new stuff, a good range in pricing , and also one where you could possibly get a good recommendation from your interests. This shop has checked all the boxes.

I have been using Dreadnought Comics exclusively for all my comic/collection needs, as a local comic artist if I’ve ever needed a book or collection for books, toy for reference or anything, Jacob and Jeff have always gone so far above and beyond the call of duty to get me taken care of and always treat their clientele like family. If I could give this shop 10 out of 5 stars I would. If you haven’t checked them out already, do yourself a favor and stop by soon. I promise you, you won’t regret it.

Definitely recommend. I go there all the time, and the guys over there are super helpful. For months, it's been the only place I ever go for comics. Once a week in fact. Pretty much all of my comics, especially the recent ones, are from there. Definitely the best place in town. I have two brothers, and even though one of them isn't that into comics, he always finds something to buy. They've got pins, figurines, pins, etc. along with their large selection of books. They're very reasonably priced. Usually only 3 bucks for a new book. Great place to go for your comic needs. They recently changed their location, and I love it! It's larger, and has a lot more stuff.

Stumbled onto this place a few months ago...my initial response was good due to the fact that it's not only a comic shop but also a action figure/collectable shop. There is not alot of filler in the shop..just good stuff. The prices are reasonable, the staff are actual collectors themselves. If you're in north Phoenix.. hit it up.

Awesome shop! Great selection of comics, didnt even get to flip through the massive one dollar section. Appreciate the story arc bundles too, kudos and good lookin out. Lots of toys new and old. Jeff was generous enough to wait 20 minutes after closing for me to bring my comics and on top of that was more than fair on value! I was super impressed by his knowledge and honesty and upon walking into his store I was amazed at the myriad of comics and other related items! So if you're looking for a reliable comic book store, I strongly recommend going there!

This is the first comic book shop to carry some of the most obscure indie comics and graphic novels that I’m into. Of course they have all the marvel, dc, boomstudios, image, dark horse..etc but they also have deeper finds that I’ve had to order and wait for online and they have them IN STOCK!! in fact I’ve not yet had to go anywhere searching for editions after checking here first. So yea I’m a big fan. They have a large selection of collectibles as well if that’s your thing but if your a comic head go here first!

The staff here knows what they're talking about and will pull aside for you, what you are wanting to get before you even know it's out! I only come once a month but they keep my file full of the necessary books to satisfy my cravings! Whenever I see something that sparks my interest, I ask them how it is and what it's about and they never fail to provide me with a thorough synopsis! Place is dope, location is good, people are awesome! Go here!

Very knowledgeable staff I go in about once a week all the way from chandler. It's very worth the trip. They specialize in back stock and rare comics. Cool little shop with a super cool layout! The panel displays really catch the eye. Carries both new and 2nd hand comics and collectables. Also has airsoft equipment. Customer service in my experience is bar-none. Always friendly and always willing to help find what you are looking for.

A great comic shop that has a unique display system. These huge panels that eliminate sorting through issues. They have nice memorabilia, good deals, plenty of current storylines and even a tactical airsoft facility. The employee was really nice, the store was clean and organized and the airsoft creates another fun element. It's easy to find as its right by the cinemas.

Wow! I was only here cuz my boy likes comics so i bought him a gift card for christmas. When I walked into this place and actually looked around???? Wow they know how to utilize space! It's like a museum of comic books in this place! I didnt think I'd find anything I'd like in there when i first bought the card, but when I saw the old spawn comics i was proven wrong. And I'm a closet MTG player and they had some cool old cards and unopened boosters and cheap rares, I may just be coming back on my own without the kids!!

After the closing of a local comic book store, i was in need of a new comic home. I need a place that was both close to me and had caring staff. The store being on 35th and bell road fits my first need. So i went to 35th and bell, entered the store, and took in what i was seeing. It was like walking into a museum, i looked at all of my favorite hero's past comics and they looked brand new. After the side track, i was looking for the new death stroke series of comics and i found them near the register. With no line i was able to get them in an instant. I told the staff it was my first time with this comic store and they treated me really good. 6/5 TL;DR This is the best comic store i have ever been to.

We went here a couple days ago not really knowing what we were looking for. The guys came out and helped us right away. They even took the time to go through a few story lines with my 4 year old and 7 year old to see if that was something they really wanted and letting me know what was appropriate enough to let them read comfortably. Pretty great selection of those pesky single issue comics you missed in the late 80's, 90's and early 00's. Alright inventory of the new stuff - mostly mainstream though. Don't expected to find a lot of trades or indie comics, go for the action figures and awesome displays.

Pretty neat little shop hidden away in the emptiness of bell canyon plaza. Large selection of comics and genres. Action figures. Collectables. Nik naks. Staff was friendly and it reminded me of atomic comics from when I was a kid. My niece loved it and we will be back in again after finding this hidden gem. Thru their knowledge and relationship with my grandson Nic has become a very good collector of super hero figurines. His eye for detail has come from researching collectables and the relationship that he has developed from the guys at Dreadnought. I would recommend the Dreadnought Comics experience to anyone.
